Winner gets a night with the ‘Girl Next Door‘, Missy DoRight

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/ELITEProWrestling/Misc%20Images/MistyDoRight.jpg

In a stipulation unseen to the Pro Wrestling masses, four men will compete for the right to take renown adult entertainer, Missy DoRight, home for an unforgettable night of pleasure! That’s right, after many lonely nights of alcohol, tears of desperation, and continuous ‘solo missions’, these four ELITISTS will embark upon the challenge of a lifetime; one that will certainly end with a much-appreciated ‘happy ending’.

The Butcher & Nomad vs. Clinically Insane

Grudge Match

After American Psycho, and his equally insane partner, Carlos Gonzalez, violently ravaged those competing in last months hardcore fourway (with the likes of Butcher, Nomad, American Psycho, and Mexican Beast), the victims, Butcher & Nomad, have formed together for ‘one-night-only’; standing as a wearing alliance against the likes of the mentally unstable tandem before them. In the end, can the newfound blood brothers tandem of The Butcher and Nomad be able to work as one; joined together by their mutual hatred for their opponents? - OR - Will the established pairing of two mental patients continue their path of destruction? Either way, blood is expected to soak the ELITE canvas as the Butcher’s knife will certainly make it’s presence known.

Mexican Flag Match

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/ELITEProWrestling/Misc%20Images/mexican-flag-300x2251.jpg

The squared circle will don the Mexican National Flag as two Hispanic Blood Brother tandems will square-off in a war for Los Angeles. It’s common knowledge that LA is densely populated with immigrants from beyond the border, those looking to hold into their traditions while embracing the newfound beauty of the ‘American Dream’ (even if it is a façade in a way), with this knowledge it’s easy to see why such a match-up would take form. Two teams, rich in their cultural significance, will compete for the hearts of their Hispanic brethren; attempting to stake claim as THE top Latino Blood Brother tandem in ELITE Pro Wrestling.

Weapons, blood, sweat, and tears, will certainly fall as these two factions compete for such a truly significant standing.

Rhino Umaga vs. Sayeed Ali

If Rhino Umaga wins= The ‘Rabid Samoans’ will via for the ELITE Blood Brothers Championships next month.

If Sayeed Ali wins= The champs themselves, Cell Block X, will declare their own challengers for next month’s event.

Last month, Cell Block X was successful in retaining the ELITE Blood Brothers Championships by double KO’ing the ‘Rabid Samoans’ in a devastatingly brutal match-up. Now, one month removed from such carnage, Rhino Umaga will be given the opportunity for revenge; theoretically carrying the ‘Rabid Samoans’ crest upon his back as he competes for the right for a second championship scenario. Can Umaga restore a sense of pride for his volcanic tandem - OR - will Sayeed Ali continue the trend; showing Cell Block X to be a truly unstoppable force?

ELITE Championship Match

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/ELITEProWrestling/ELITE%20Championships/ELITE_Champion.jpg

After shockingly defeating Big Cletus last month at “No rest for the wicked”, Kill Switch has found an equally challenging opponent this month as he’s billed to face the enigmatic, Remmy Skye. While it may sound rather steep of a challenge, giving such a climactic scenario as last month’s main event, thus is the reality behind being ELITE Champion: ‘You’re never safe; never on the easy track’. When you add in the fact that BOTH Big Cletus and Dangerous Doug Peak will be at ringside as ‘special guest enforcers’, how could ANYONE have an optimistic mindset about their health? Not to mention, in Remmy's case, will we see Jack Griffith make another appearance within the Vu; attacking once again despite not being an official member of the ELITE roster?

With so much hatred brewing in the air the question isn’t necessarily who will win but rather… Who will survive?

Also, Shifty Kazimir will address Victor Kahn, and the ELITE Suicidal Championship, in an announcement that will surely rock the regime to it’s knees. While the actual details are quite hazy at this point, It’s been reported that said announcement will carry an ‘international’ theme.

<hr color="black">

ELITE Event Key:

  • Given the 'hardcore' product, the default match will be exactly that: Hardcore. With that said, those matches that don't rely on weapons usage may be used within a 'regular' match setting. Also, those matches within the 'Suicidal Regime' will be wrestled under a 'high flying' setting. This way, each match carries their own unique tone (ie: hardcore matches vs. Suicidal Regime matches vs. regular matches wreslted by non-hardcore wrestlers)
  • The regular matches, or high flying matches ('Suicidal Regime'), will be set-up to where there are no possibilities as it pertains to DQ's, countout's, etc. This will make it FEEL as if these matches are under the same rules as every other match; however, tailors closer to the wrestler's abilities versus just throwing everything under the hardcore banner (even when not needed; technical wrestlers like Matthew Keith).
  • Déjà vu nightclub has been created in which to house most ELITE events (at least right away as we're a small, LA-based, company). From a story perspective, this is a nightclub owned by Shady Kazimir (ELITE owner).
  • The 'Suicidal Regime' (used above) is a divisional-based approach centered around the ELITE Suicidal Championship. Modern Wrestlers, Cruiserweights, Spot Monkeys, Super Juniors, and Luchadors will all wrestle in this high-speed, dare-devil, division. In the end, I felt 'regime' felt better with this company versus simply calling it the 'Suicidal Division'.

"Implosion" Quick Picks:

Ant-Man vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley vs. Disco Hugh vs. Gluttonous Gary

The Butcher & Nomad vs. Clinically Insane

Los Reyes Latinos vs. Volar el Fuego

Rhino Umaga vs. Sayeed Ali

Kill Switch © vs. Remmy Skye

BONUS QUESTION (+1 point): What will Shifty's announcement be regarding Victor Kahn and the Suicidal Championship?

Hint, as stated in the summary of the scenario at hand, it will carry an 'international theme'.

Ant-Man vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley vs. Disco Hugh vs. Gluttonous Gary

I love the stip and the stip alone means instead of really looking at the workers involved as competitors, I'm looking more at what would make the most amusing outcome. It's HAS to be Gluttonous Gary. 'Beauty' forced to spend a night with the lard-bellied-tub-of-goo 'Beast'. Make it happen. :p

The Butcher & Nomad vs. Clinically Insane

I like Clinically Insane as a duo, but the Butcher and Nomad both have more about them (not to mention wins under their belts individually).

Los Reyes Latinos vs. Volar el Fuego

The effort using Los Reyes Latinos on the last show would suggest they're destined for some sort of push. I think they'll go over here.

Rhino Umaga vs. Sayeed Ali

Again, it's the stip that does it for me. I think there's mileage in another Rabid Samoans/Cell Block X match, but I don't think it needs to happen next month - not when in theory, you should have two teams coming off of this event with wins who could be plugged in to that match.

Kill Switch © vs. Remmy Skye

I should have stuck with Kill Switch last time. I'm sticking with him this time. Doug and Cletus muddy the waters somewhat, but I suspect Jack Griffith may pop up somewhere in the equation as well. Either way, Skye is taking the fall this time out.

Hmmmm. I'm going to plump for Shifty doing what I believe TNA should do with the X Division - bringing in one-off challengers from around the world. I'm sticking by my previous comments regarding the suicidal regime as in; I don't think there's a legitimate challenger for Kahn out of the pack he's already gone over twice. Without the likes of El Muerto, Hell Hound, packing any extra momentum, I see an outsider coming in at Implosion.

PSW was probably much more easy to predict; as it was a company already set in it's ways (even if not for that long). With ELITE, still being a default company but not opened yet, there's more freedom to the writer in which to create their own vibe for the company itself. With that, adding in the fact that this will only be the 3rd show thus far, it's probably quite hard to really predict who is going to win.

Honestly... I don't always know who's going to win so I don't expect anyone else to either. haha. I'm carefully trying to create a certain vibe with ELITE, so, each decision is questioned time-and-time again. I never move forward until I feel 100% comfortable with the decision at hand as i'm trying to get everyone introduced in the best manner possible.

ELITE, much like my other 'companies', is 100% based upon characters vs. a typical wrestling event. I feel justified with ELITE, almost more than anyone else (outside of SWF and DOA), as their default TV match/angle ratio is something like 40%. To me, that's a company that cares more about the characters, and what they are doing, versus wins/losses. In this way, it's probably REALLY hard to predict as you, the predictor, now have to take into account two different things:

1) Skill Level

2) Character

Popularity comes into affect too; however, at this size, no one is really going to make or break in a win/loss. I guess what I'm saying is... No worries BHK. ;)

(just in my long-winded manner).

Ant-Man vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley vs. Disco Hugh vs. Gluttonous Gary

I agree with Seb, because of the stip involved I'm looking less at who the best wrestler is and more at what would be the funniest outcome. Gary is by far the worse wrestler in this match, but forcing Missy DoRight to go with the big old tub of lard is too hard to resist :p

The Butcher & Nomad vs. Clinically Insane

Butcher & Nomad have had a little more success so far, but Clinically Insane are the proper team here and I'm tipping them for the win in this one.

Los Reyes Latinos vs. Volar el Fuego

Seem more ready for a strong push

Rhino Umaga vs. Sayeed Ali

Ali wins this and Cell Block X can move on to fresh challengers, more than likely Los Reyes Latinos.

Kill Switch © vs. Remmy Skye

Too early for Kill Switch to drop the title, Jack Griffith will likely get involved 'cost' Remmy the chance of victory but Kill Switch will decisely finish the job, to come out looking strong as champion.

BONUS QUESTION (+1 point): Hey I'll go with the general consensus here and that the belt will be open to outside challengers from all across the world....hard to think what else it could be given the hint.

Gotta go with the straight up team here.

Los Reyes Latinos vs. Volar el Fuego

The Latin Kings run through the masked men.

Rhino Umaga vs. Sayeed Ali

To the back of the line!

Kill Switch © vs. Remmy Skye

Not time for him to drop the title just yet. Though with the two Enforcers outside the ring, it surely won't be long before they get involved.

BONUS QUESTION (+1 point): The Suicidal Championship will now only be defended against masked wrestlers from around the world in title versus mask matches!

Hey party-peeps,

I'm writing this right now in which to convey where I'm at right now in my thought process. Interested? Then read on. If not, then I totally understand.

I'm kicking around the idea of possibly running with a TNA diary (real world) at the same time as this ELITE one. Sound like a lot of work? Yea, it may be; however, I'm growing more and more interested in trying to 'fix' what I see as wrong with TNA.

As I've been talking with BigPapa42, I find myself in a weird rut ever since PSW. With that project, I was able to get up & over 1,000 posts (over a full year in game wise); however, since then, I've found it very hard to really 'stick with anything' through out. Call it the curse of Angeldelayette? ;) haha jk. (I love your work Angel, 100%).

I get easily inspired and then all of a sudden I wane on being a facilitator of that very same image I've created in my mind. I would be lying if I didn't say that this has happened in a way to my ELITE project. Don't get me wrong, I love everything I've been able to put together so far, but to be honest, it's all been tough to keep everything lined up in my mind.

Maybe it's cornellverse burn-out? Maybe it's writing burn-out?

All I know is, ever since PSW, I've found it really hard to stay with one company for an extended period of time. PSW was perfect for me, it was new & innovative (at least for me) and gave me the opportunity to write as I saw fit. Plus, John Greed will forever be my favorite user character (regardless of how frantic is employment process has been. ha).

In a way, John Greed defines me best as we both jump around from thing to thing, idea to idea, and are considered to be 'creative' but often burns out in the professional realm.

What does this mean? I'm not really sure. I want to keep on going with ELITE; however, am not sure if I really want to keep it going or if I'm afraid that leaving another project would mean that I would carry a 'Scarlett letter' going forward (saying I can't really keep with anything). I don't want to be known as a guy you can't follow because he'll always move onto something else but find myself unable to really commit to anything since PSW/Greed.

I really want to be the 'Hall of Famer' that I've been made out to be this year (given the induction; thank you again for that). Maybe, since PSW, I've struggled to really find my niche? Maybe that was my niche and I'll never be able to move on past it? I'm not entirely sure.

The TNA idea sounds like a good change of pace as I've never done a Real World diary & it would allow me to possibly keep up with ELITE (as their totally different). At the same time, I've had a few other ideas float on by:

1) A diary centered around the user character of Nemesis; coming back into the 'sport' and working with a promotion (possibly created or in default). The story of a Legend trying to break new ground as his reckless past continues to come at him (both physically, professionally, and personally). It would be a combination of 'The Wrestler' & the glitz-and-glamor that goes with being a 'Legend'.

2) Total Nonstop Action. My attempt to fix all that I see is wrong with TNA; hoping to make it a contender in the future. This intrigues me as I've never done a real-world diary here on the GDS boards so it would be 'breaking new ground'. With that said, I do like the flexibility that the cornellverse gives you (having full creative control). So, if I did this project it would be more from the perspective of internet wrestling sites, company web page, etc. (not the backstory stuff)

3) The Evolution of John Greed. I know what I said but I don't know if I could ever, truly, rule out Mr. Greed. Why? There is so much history & he's been my 'bread-winner' since the early years on the board (so much so that it feels weird to NOT be him). If I were to go this route then I would have absolutely no idea who I would run with as John's already worked for: PSW, DOA, and 4C. The only companies still left out there to do would be, realistically,: CZCW or PPW (Phoenix Pro Wrestling). Then again, possibly a created company could also work as maybe John would finally open his own company? Call it a 'best of the best' from the years of Greed... KILLER Colossus, Teddy Powell, Johnny Vicious, etc. The whole 'band' would be back together again; however, It may be hard seeing how the Greed-verse already has a good number of companies out there on a national scale (TCW, SWF, USPW, and DOA).

So, I don't know... Color me indecisive I guess. I guess my E-V persona should take on the tone of my own personal life. ;) ha.

I would love to see you try a TNA diary. I used to be a huge TNA fan but have the hardest time trying to watch it now because it's not very good and it lacks a very good X division which I miss. It would be a good challenge to you to try and get to WWE level.

I'd also be lying to you if I said I didn't want to see you return as John Greed and open a new promotion like you said. I'd love to see you bring up a new promotion and see it rise and finally make it seem like John Greed has made it, it the wrestling business as not only a Head Booker but now as an owner. I can only imagine how crazy it would be owning a company with John as it would be your own rules.

So I'm all for whatever makes you happy to be honest with you. My opinion would be TNA or a new company in which John Greed owns because I really would love to see you own a company and have it rise up slowly to compete with the big boys. It's all up to you man whatever makes you happy.

Why don't you take your hand at 77' C-Verse? HWA seems a perfect fit for you.

I'm not sure if I could really get into a '77 diary. I'm not entirely sure why but I don't know if I could relate with the time-frame, ya know? It may sound weird but I'm a creature of being able to 'think of myself in that moment'; 77 may be hard for that. I thought of a '97 diary at one point; however, that was with DaVE as they were on their way up. With that said, I'm not sure if I would really want to go that route either? I guess, as you can see by my last post, my thoughts are all over the place right now as to why I would actually want to book/write for (Greed All-stars, Nemesis story, or TNA).

The John Greed-led company really brings me back to something 'special'; if that makes sense. I always felt that, at some point, John would try his hand at his own company after A) working for douche-bags along the way and growing tired of it, B) having full creative control to do what he loves, and C) no one would touch him anymore after all of his short spots in various companies. With his underground popularity, I would see a company of his own being a 'regional' promotion on the cuff of Cult possibly (given his cult-status). Not entirely sure but could be a cool scenario... To have John Finally give a big "F-U" to the industry, and those he worked for (as he's anti-authority to a T), and finally open his own company in spite of everyone else.

Update

If I were to go with a John Greed promotion, I think I've zeroed the company name down to being "Impact! New York" (as it's based in the East Coast [John's battleground], it has a sleek logo already made, and actually has titles made by ReaPeR already). Plus, for a smaller company, I think having a regional name doesn't hurt at all.

To those who enjoyed the Greed-saga, what would that sound like to you?

I love it. The logo's are really good too so it will def be good. And when you do make it big and want to shed the New York part he made one that just says Impact Wrestling which I'm sure you saw. I honestly want to you to go with the John Greed run promotion because I have enjoyed every diary you have done with John Greed and maybe this will the the one and final John Greed chapter with him rising to the top of the wrestling world running his own promotion and like you said giving a big FU to the wrestling world and finally proving he's got what it takes to make a company huge.

That's what I'm thinking. If the company were to rise above their regional status, and lets say become a bigger national power, then it would be smart to transition into the new name of "Impact Wrestling". Plus, I really wanted to go with a company that already had belts in place as I didn't want to bother ReapeR with more than he already has on his plate. This does limit the naming quite a bit, as I need to be in-line with what's already out there, but "Impact! New York" is certainly a logo, and concept, that I can get behind with Greed.

I think an Impact New York diary would be cool. I mean you would have an instant enemy in NYCW. The Stomper hates working with others so maybe have something where Greed was up for the booker job in NYCW but Stomper did not want him because Stomper is such an old style guy and Greed is a grunge era guy. Due to that rejection, Greed decides to open up Impact NY to put Stomper out of business.

And I agree with you about a 1970's diary, they are just to hard to do. I mean hats off to the people that do write 1970's based diaries. It is very hard to recreate that era, I remember 80's wrestling was a bunch of squash matches and a ton of hype for the local shows. I have no clue if that is how it was done in the 1970's.
