Between a girl and a man, if they have the same skill, the same reputation, a company will make a offer better than me. For a girl, THEY NEVER bid against me

Really? So we're talking XCC here, and you tried to hire both at the same time, having equal skills and more or less the same popularity? That's odd.

I'm almost sure the AI doesn't care about skill. They care about stone cold pop and nothing else (maybe rep).

I usually find that if a new fighter with great skills appears on the scene they get snapped up pretty quickly with or without popularity.

You may actually be right. If I try to recall the AI's past signings, it occured to me that they don't always sign the superpopular fighters like that Japanese jiu-jitsu expert at welterweight. ALPHA-1 sometimes just ignores him completely, despite his obvious skills. Anyhow, it needs to be mentioned that I base that statement on my experience, and I didn't specifically keep track of all the signings as I only follow the global main events. :p

Hopefully the AI picks up fighters from different weights now if they can't fill a class with enough talent, instead of fixing on the ideal weight.

Wvtc

I am in June of 2002, playing as WVTC, who I activated at the beginning of the game.

My current champions:

HW: Gerson Mauricio (2x), 18-4, #14 HW, 59% rep

LHW: Lawrence Herringbone, 16-6, unranked, 47% rep

MW: Ademir Coelho (2x), 18-6, #8 MW, 66% rep

WW: Joseph Liu, 6-0, #13 WW, 62% rep

LW: Goncalves Cassaro (3x), 14-4, #8 LW, 66% rep

FW: Freddy Lomax, 12-1, #5 FW, 76% rep

#1 fighter in promotion P4P: Luis Basora, 24-3, #2 FW #4 PFP, 90% rep

Biggest star at each level (in South America):

HW: James Foster, 34-7-1, unranked, 55%

LHW: Rainieri Fernanda, 13-3, unranked, 46%

MW: Leonardo da Costa, 25-6, #14 MW, 72%

WW: Ricardo Fernandes, 46-14-1-4, #10 WW, 70%

LW: Manoel Cabral, 15-0, #6 LW #16 P4P, 86%

FW: Nuno Valentino, 17-3, #13 FW, 52%

I have higher ranked fighters on my roster, but they don't always get title shots due to the way I was previously booking, pitting my champ against the highest ranked available fighter. Starting recently, I've decided to hold them until someone from my top 5, or perhaps a big name from my top 10, is available. Also, many of those higher ranked fighters still need to establish their name in Brazil.

WVTC has risen to 39.3% National in South America and 63.3% regional in Central America. XCC, KDM FC, and Warriors FC have all folded, but the rest are going pretty strong. I'm not really interested in crushing FLB, though I definitely have the dominant promotion. I am content to have them run shows and build popularity for other fighters in the area, though I poach fighters from them when I want to, especially if they aren't seeing action.

I am making cash hand-over-fist at this point, and I've begun bringing in some fighters just for their name value. I recently signed Go Yamamoto and James Foster to somewhat outrageous contracts.

Some upsets...

- Leonardo da Costa was 25-6, 90% rep, #2 ranked middleweight, when he took on Vagner (16-10, 14%). Vagner scored a flash KO in the first round, shattering the streak of the fighter who'd been invincible since the start of my game. da Costa was not the champ at the time, because he was returning to my promotion.

- Jozef Jankowski reached the Heavyweight top ten before he was knocked out by Scotty Arnsson, previously 0-2-1.

That's some crazy winning streak. She win easily in all of his match, except the Last. Nadel just shut off his game for 5 round, repeatedly cracking her with punch, kick, and two takedown. Cameron pull a Triangle armbar from nowhere, that reminds me of Silva vs Sonnen :D

EDIT : Holy shit. She was fighting Ostrosvky (the russian) for the Featherweight title, and Cameron was getting BRUTALIZED for seven rounds (Yeah, seven round for championship match in my federation) and at the last time, she land a big right hook who turn the light off for Ostrovsky ! pretty amazing. But i cannot afford her anymore

MMA Legend Hassan Fezzik has announced that his 40th professional fight will be his last and GAMMA officials are mulling over their options in providing him with a fitting headlining finale. Hopefully it goes better for him than it did for recently departed Raul Hughes who finally got his long awaited rematch with fellow Heavyweight titan James Foster only to lose by controversial TKO stoppage at 4:58 of the very first round in the main event of GAMMA 107 last month.

For Fezzik, the two likeliest options according to GAMMA matchmaker Natalabradoodle Tan are a pair of trilogy fights. He could challenge Nate MacReary for the Heavyweight championship, although GAMMA are usually not in the habit of providing title rematches for champs who only have one cumulative defense. "The Big Bad" KO'd MacReary in the second round of their title eliminator in the main event at GAMMA 85 as he made his second run at the belt but lost to the massive Canadian in his last fight at GAMMA 102 where he once again relinquished his world championship.

The other of those would be against Kanezane Fujii. Fujii dealt Hassan his first ever professional career defeat in August 1999 in an ALPHA-1 Heavyweight title clash, submitting him by Rear Naked Choke in the third round. When Fujii joined GAMMA in late 2002, having dominated and cleaned out the ALPHA-1 Heavyweight division, Fezzik welcomed him to America by trapping him against the cage and unleashing a whirlwind of violence, finishing him by TKO in just over three minutes. After three straight wins over Vittorio Pescatelli, Terron Cabal and Carter Potter, Fujii is within touching distance of a first GAMMA title shot.

Other rumored but perhaps less storied options include vs Pai Cheng III, vs James Foster II, vs Kunimichi Kikuchi IV (we can only hope not), vs Murilo Satinho II or a bout against one time protégé Lefter Oktay. Whatever the case, he will presumably be looking to maintain his proud streak of being the only GAMMA fighter to have headlined every single event he has fought at for the promotion. His GAMMA record stands at 7-2 and he is said to be keen to know who fans think his eighth win should come against.
