Posted in the other thread, but Title Bout is really just a fight simulator. It's a great one, though. And supposedly they're working on a new version that has some kind of career mode, but we'll see. An in depth boxing game is what I'm wanting the most.

As an aside, another idea I've always thought was cool was having an Athletic Director sim. That won't mean much to you non-Americans, but basically every University has an AD that oversees all athletics, is in charge of building facilities, hiring coaches, etc. I think it would be interesting.

its a rival thing cause he posts at the 5gws web site and talks bs about there stuff. :p

There is another game from UK cant rem it i tried the demo. Its ok but unlike TEW every time they add som to game o matter how small if you want it you have to buy it. Cant rem darm name just that it starts with number 7.

Tew is in my book best type of game out there in its category. I do play others once awhile but TEW still rocks.

If I recall correctly, Merk also did another wrestling game ages back (was it called 5GWS (5th Gen Wrestling Sim)?). It brings back memories since I used to post of the forums way back when it was just getting started. No idea what it ever turned out like though.

Or not to the level that you'd expect from a true "Game". Maybe one day the guy will put out an alpha and then disapear from the universe, but there are so many people that say there making a wrestling manager game out there, that always end up giving up on it and say things along the lines of "We lost code" or "My computer fried" when in fact, they likely were just out of their league or lying. At least this guy is showing video of something though.

PS about TNM7

First off a completely different type of game, and to me still a ton of fun to play. I love TEW, but TNM was great fun, and considering its age it's still quite good today. Also, the name of that game maker was Oliver, so I'm not sure where this other guy came from.

Back in the EWR Days I tried 5GWS because I wanted something different, however after playing it I was drawn back to EWR and then of course I got into the TEW Series when I purchased 08 (and later 2010). The thing that turned me off to 5GWS was that after the game was released the site was taken down so there was no real way of getting any updates. If it was updated I would gladly play it again if TEW wasn't an option but thank god it is.

I played the Demo of H2H but couldn't get into it because it was a demo and I for one hate games where the only option is playing as WWE.

It's kind of a shame there's no real competition to TEW. I'm happy with the games we get, don't get me wrong, but you know that whole saying about competition being good for the consumer.

Two great series could challenge each other and we'd reap the rewards in terms of features and the best ideas rising to the top from what could be completely different approaches to making a wrestling sim.

(And I do have to admit, what they're talking about in prowrestlingmanager, regarding an emphasis on worker's personalities and relationships, is right up my alley for management. Even though it'll probably never eventuate or live up to the lofty expectations I have in my head.)
