If at first you dont succeed try and try again .. Bull continued to try to take Rahnvardi down and at a third attempt he got him on the ground with a sweet looking trip. Bull failed to get through side guard but did soon take Rahnvardis back as he tried to get up .. He grabbed ahold of Rahnvardis arm and went for an Armbar ... It's in tight! Rahnvardi Taps!

Cahoons good sprawl prevents Hughes from taking him down and he manages to get Hughes turtled up, but is unable to roll him over for side control. The second round and we could hear the Cahoon coaches telling him to go at Hughes 'hard and fast' and within 15 seconds he is hitting a barrage of hard rights on Hughes and he falls to the ground with Cahoon still pounding away on him .. The referee as to step in to stop the fight.

Newton tries to take the fight to the ground and uses quick punches to set up his takedowns .. A takedown is completed and Kamaka is left on his back pulling guard. Sato goes for a double leg from the pocket dodging under an attempted right hand, Rodriguez cannot stop the takedown, Sato drove in with too much pace and power. Rodriguez is left seated and back against the cage. Rodriguez manages to stop a guillotine attempt from being secure enough to make him tap .. Sato may of gasses himself whilst going for that choke. Another double leg in the second see's Sato take Rodriguez down, but time runs out before he could take any advantage. Sato shoots in halfway through the third and Rodriguez finally shows us his sprawl and has Sato at close Quarters and wrestles him to the floor, finishing in his half guard. Rodriguez is in unfamillier territory and throws a few punches slowing the fight down .. Sato tries for a choke from the bottom but couldn't make anything of it .. Both fighters look very, very tired with one minute to go. Sato has an Armbar but with only a few seconds to go there wasn;'t time to straighten it out and the decision goes to the judges.

Moretti shows great movement dodging and weaving out of the way of Cyborgs strikes .. Cyborg presses in closer and hits a big right before countering an attempted body kick with a right handed bomb that knocks Moretti clean off his feet. Moretti immediately shakes it off, Cyborg goes for some sort of ground control but Moretti is too quick scrambling back to his feet .. Cyborg uses head movement to slip past a punch, then hits a massive uppercut, knocking Moretti down to the ground .. He is out cold!

Berger throws a couple of wild punches setting up for a takedown attempt but he gets caught with a right and he is momentarily wobbly .. Luckily Berger gets enough space to dodge a couple of big leg kicks from Thomas, but he keeps advancing .. Right into a right that slows him down. Thomas covers up from a few wild strikes from Berger but Thomas knew what he was planning and back away from the double leg attempt .. Another takedown attempt from Berger sees him go forward right into a Right Hook catching him hard, and almost putting him down, a spinning backfist staggers Berger back further and he is shaken and backing off .. And the round comes to a close. The second round is very different to the first with Berger never really getting in place for any takedowns and spends alot of time backing off from Thomas' offense. Berger shoots and Thomas uses his sprawl to get Berger in a clinch, he closes well and gets in a few good punches but he is breathing very hard right now .. Thomas shows great control and pushes Berger up against the cage getting in a few mkore punches as he does so .. The referee eventually brings them back to the center when they are not doing enough .. Looking very tired, Berger comes in throwing ragged haymakers, using them as cover so that he can shoot in. The round comes to a close after Berger was caught just above the eye ... It goes to the Judges.

Kimo tries to overwhelm Yvel with a flurry of rights and lefts but most miss the ever moving Hurricane who strikes back with a Spinning Back Fist that puts Kimo down on the ground, it was probably more by surprise than power and Kimo shakes off the cobwebs quickly and recieves a couple of kicks to the legs before Yvel waves for him to stand back up. Kimo throws a couple of jabs as a set up, then he shoots in for a takedown, Yvel cannot stop the takedown and can only get half guard .. Kimo begins trying to get his legs free of the half guard, Yvel keeps the half guard secure before having to defend Kimo's attempt at a Kimura .. The time runs out on the first round. Kimo shoots in on Yvel and goes right through Yvel's right hand attempt to prevent it, Yvel pulls guard. Moving into the seconbd half of the round Kimo gets first side control and then he manages to take The Hurricane's back .. And he is pounding away on Gilbery Yvel who doesn't look like he can defend himself .. No, the referee steps Gilbert Yvel was not deemed to be 'intelligently' defending himself.

A cautious start for the first Title fight in the UFC under the K-1 banner. After two failed takedown attempts Gibson manages to push Macias up against the Cage and Gibson using underhooks for control and works a trip to take Macias down. Macias manages to wriggle back into the cage and use it to stand, just as the round comes to an end. Again in the second Gibson is trying to take Macias down, he manages to avoid all takedowns but he is not able to get close enough to land the clean shots his corner are asking for. Macias hits a couple of quick kicks at the start of the third but then the fight settles back into Gibson attempting to take Macias down who can only try to avoid him .. Gibson shoots in and lifting his opponant he slams him down with a Greco-Roman Slam! Macias Pulls guard. Gibson throws a couple of punches but they do not land clean as the round is brought to a close. We enter the championship rounds now and another Greco-Roman Slam from Gibson puts Macias down, who pulls guard. Gibson looks like he doesn't have much left in the tank, and is surprised by Macias reaching up and trying to get ahold of his arm .. But he gets it free. Macias continues to try to go for Submissions from the bottom but Gibson gets the better of them .. We go into round five and within the first minute Gibson manages to take Macias down and both men look exhausted .. Both men are battling for Submissions with Macvias getting the btter of the exchange from the bottom .. Until Gibson holding Macias in position with side control hits a knee into the ribs of Macias, before going for the Americana and locking it in deep Macias has to tap out!

So why did it take so long to get UFC 22 up? I thought the save had gone, it wasn't showing in my save lists when i load WMMA but i found it was still in the database folder ... Searched in the Tech Support forum and found the answer i was looking for and so we're back in business.

Alot of circling and measuring their ranges gives us a very boring first round and the fans let them know just what they thought of it, boos echoing around the arena. A few stiff kicks from Cyborg in the second see Warren limping. Brian Warrens corner seem to be trying to get him fired up between the 2nd and 3rd but he is just sitting there staring at the floor. A few strikes landed by Cyborg but another pretty dull round.
