I was able to keep the majority of my AWA roster. I've just built from within, since there are a decent amount of talented workers on the roster, plus it seems like it is impossible to steal talent.

You can't have squash matches throughout your show (Well only if you have a B show.), you need to put on good matches in order to get a highly graded show. That has nothing to do with the mod and everything to do with game mechanics. However, because I can't have a ton of squash matches it does bother me a little.</p>

In my 4 Corners: AWA diary I just had Dustin Rhodes (Upper Midcard) squash Kanyon (Enhancement Talent) in a five minute match and it pulled in a C- which is perfectly fine for a midcard/lower midcard match at cult/regional. The (+) bonus for a well executed squash note will be your friend in this mod perhaps?</p>

I find it fine the way it is, I just am a bit odd when it comes to historical games of any kind. If I cannot make it the way it was I get annoyed. </p><p> </p><p> For instance and this probably will mean nothing to the people who do not follow Baseball. I once had a Baseball game where I was playing in 1929 and Babe Ruth hit ninety home runs. Admittedly some of the victims were future stars (hello Jim Neidhart) and it took 18 months but Prime Time Wrestling's biggest match for a year was Tiger Chung Lee vs Hulk Hogan. Only one thing I've picked up on thus far (and its purely because I'm building an insanely talented tag roster with the WWF at the moment...) I think the tag experience for The Dream Team (Valentine & Beefcake) may be out - they're ranked as being E+ experience but by this point had been tagging for close to two years and putting on solid matches with The Bulldogs & The Rougeaus (including a title run) before breaking up at Mania III. The E+ is the same level as Demolition (formed in Jan 87). They were a much under-rated tag team (mostly due to the presence of the green as grass Brutus Beefcake) but by the end of their run they had good enough chemistry to cement a strong face turn for Brutus by splitting.</p>

So I decided to import MAW into the game with nothing so i could see how the game pans out with out me control to much I have a small roster of just ten and out of the ten, seven are on the juice lol wheres the option to ban the juice dealers from back stage althought it has worked in my favour both sting and benoit are loyal to me well Vampiro dosent like me that much one more positive and he's down the road.

Change the picture folder to Default. Save. Change the picture folder back to 1987. Save.

 

Don't know why it happens, but occasionally the default folder is assigned even when it says it is the mod folder - I assume it is when the mod uses a folder name we don't have (e.g. Genadi has the mod set up to use the TGA pic folder and you have named the mod 1987 instead).

Yea, sucks majorly. I ended up turning Sammartino heel 2 days before the PPV, put him against hogan with (in my mind) some kind of star of the 70s vs the 80s jealousy thing, and they turned out a B+ match surprisingly.

That sucks losing Andre the Giant before Wrestlemania 3, I’ve just lost Roddy Piper to NJPW but luckily it was after his Mania match with Adrian Adonis so it did not mess up the card in anyway.

 

I kept the Wrestlemania 3 card 100% accurate to how it took place in reality and I was worried about key guys like Hogan, Andre, Savage, and Steamboat suffering an injury prior to the event but luckily they all made it to the show fine.

 

Unfortunately my Mania only got a B- and it caused us to lose popularity, the best match on the card was Hogan vs. Andre which got a B+, Ricky Steamboat/Randy Savage only delivered a B which I was disappointed about.

 

I am now into late April and I am finding managing all of the different problems and morale issues concerning steroid usage to be hard work, I did not come down hard on anybody in the run up to Wrestlemania because I did not want to rock the boat and upset any of the key guys going into the event…but now I am going to start coming down hard on some people.

 

I just had my first firing; Tom Zenk is gone after starting a backstage fight with Ken Patera. Rick Martel will now most likely go on to form Strike Force with Tito Santana like in reality.

 

To anybody else playing as the WWF I am very interested to hear how you’re getting on, especially if like me you're past Wrestlemania 3.

Is it wrong that I want to fire almost the entire AWA roster? I guess it is no wonder why they went out of business. And people thought WCW was fully of old farts at the end...

 

Seriously, I love the mod but I have to make the AWA younger. And shock of all shock I just had Nick Bockwinkel pull a 78 match rating out of Greg Gagne! Now my plan to job Greg has gone down the drain, and I am just going to spam Greg vs. Nick.

Unfortunately my Mania only got a B- and it caused us to lose popularity...

 

Yep I had the same thing in one of my games as WWF. The biggest issue I think was having Mania set to 3 and a half hours. With an 80% ratio for matches on PPV's that's alot of matches, to make matters worse even for events WWF's main event match lengths are 12 minutes. I've shortened all WWF events by an hour and will keep an eye out if problems persist. Even though as with all my mods I want a challenge, it shouldn't be hard to pull a B rated show for Mania3 considering the roster, monentum of guys at the time etc.

While going through nearly every guy was given a certain type of contract for a reason. Off the top of my head I can't remember most, I do however remember Andre He was pretty much a freelancer by that stage even though he did have a loyalty to Vince to a degree (actually it was the other way around really from what I've read, Vince had more of a loyalty to Andre, one way loyalty can't be done though). I've tried to represent both in the mod. If issues arise and he's better off on a written for say even a year I'll make the change.

 

 

Few other little things I've picked up on and stats I've bumped up here and there for next update. Really do appreciate the feedback and kind words. Also thank you for all of the PM's as well, I hope with the mod out you guys know why there were a few delays and it took so long to finish

Savage's match got me a B too, and a B overall grade. Now that I'm into april, I'm going to sit down and pair up all the matches and storylines I want to continue. Losing Andre likely means I can't wait till summerslam for Hogan vs Bockwinkle champion vs "champion". With Dibiase and Hennig in the fold now though my heel division is pretty solid, I just need to sure up my faces.

 

I did learn Honky works great with both Jake and hillbilly jim. Go figure on the latter.
