Big Time Wrestling (Golden Age Mod)

Recommended Posts

Main Event: Archangel vs. Rip Oliver

by DQ or something that sparks their feud. Oliver at the top of the heap could be the guy to end the unbeaten streak, but I think it happens at a Supershow

Match #1: The Southern Rockers vs. The Sheepherders (NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Title Bout)

Sheepherders should give them a whale of a match, but the Rockers eke out a win in this one.

Match #2: The Gringo Lovers vs. The Bruise Brothers

putting my old school booking cap on for this one - Art's daddy wants him pushed to the moon, so far so good. What he needs now is a good little storyline feud to sink his teeth into. Enter the Bruise Brothers. Harris boys are bigger and stronger and use that to their advantage to get a win. However, a post match beatdown angers the Gringos who vow revenge. They get some extra training in while Bruise Brothers continue to dominate and roll thru people - maybe even winning tag titles right before the rematch. Gringo Lovers should then both get a nice boost by getting their revenge and winning the rematch.

Dark Match #1: The Executioner vs. the 5-Minute Challenger

keep em coming

Dark Match #2: Doug Gilbert vs. Scotty the Body

Neither quite ready for prime time, but bet Scotty could increase his overness by providing some color commentary

The Death of Matt Borne

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_MattBorne2.jpg

Matthew "Matt" Wade Osborne aka Matt Borne, was found dead in his home in Portland, Oregon from what the authorities are saying a drug overdose. He was scheduled to particapte in the Television taping of the Pacific Northwest Wrestling show Big Time Wrestling. Art Barr and Tony Borne of the promotion was concerned when he did not show up for the event at the Portland Sports Arena. Tony Borne went to his sons house and found him passed out on the floor with no pulse. Matthew Osborne was 31 years old.

We at the Pacific Northwest Wrestling promotion wish to send our prayers and well wishes to the family on the most shocking death.

RIP Matt Borne.

Questions:

Why does your title listing have two NWA Pacific Heavyweight Championships? :p

I'm also not quite sure with the ordering of your titles. Is it Pacific => Pacific Northwest => Pacific Northwest Television => future NWA Pacific Northwest Light Heavyweight or is it something else entirely?

You might want to consider clearing up the title names a bit, considering the homegrown ones all have Pacific in them at least twice if read completly. :p

I thought the UWF title was called the UWF Heavyweight Championship, not explicitly a world championship. You might be better off referring to it as a North American Championship, since I believe it was better known as such for most of it's life.

Who were the previous holders of the UWF Tag Team and Television Championships?

Why are you bothering with an NWA Pacific Northwest Light Heavyweight at this point in time, especially when you've got so many titles already?

I fixed the belts has you had some good ideas on the belts. The main belt is the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight, which I changed. I have that many belts because I have a big roster but after thinking about I could probably get rid of one. So the NWA Western Canadian title will be taken away since that is more for a house show type title.

Terry Taylor had all three belts with Chris Adams as he tag partner for the tag belt. So I just changed those titles to Vacant when they came over, as he did not need all three belts.

You could probably cut a few of your dark-show/house-show regulars and not miss a beat. Save yourself some money as well. :p

As for the title situation... I'd say cut the Canadian title and shelve the Light Heavyweight title for now, and after having the UWF angle done and the titles unified, have a simple main-event - mid-card - lower card tiered system before expanding the title numbers.

But yeah, it's looking much simpler and clear-cut this way with your declaration of them as NWA title belts.

So the NWA Western Canadian title will be taken away since that is more for a house show type title.
If that's all you plan on doing with it, then yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe have a Canadian be the final winner. :p

I don't know, I kinda like the idea of Terry Taylor, the UWF Franchise, the UWF Triple Crown Champion... Plus having him and Chris would have meant that you'd have an easy and relatively talented fall-guy available in tag matches.

Don Coss, Stan “The Man” Stasiak & Jim Ross welcomes everyone to the Portland Arena for tonight’s events.

Bill Watts

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_BillWatts2.jpg

Bill Watts walks to the ring. The crowd is clearly confused by the presence of Bill Watts.

Bill Watts: Yes I’m Bill Watts and I have come to the PNW for one reason and one reason alone, Don Owen. Don was sitting at home enjoying his retirement when he saw my boys invading his territory. Don was not happy when I received a call from him, wanting to know what I’m up too. I told old Don that I was not up to anything but this was my fault. I tried to take the Mid-South Wrestling national with the UWF banner but my timing was wrong and I’m sorry for that. Terry Taylor and Buddy Roberts could not accept the fact that this dream of a National wrestling promotion is over. So here they come into the Northwest trying to reshape this great, proud promotion into the new UWF but a twisted UWF with them on top. They will destroy this promotion, as they do not care for the Northwest, they just care about the power and glory of themselves. The glory days of wrestling of the NWA are not dead, the glory days of true wrestling is still alive and its Alamo is here in the Northwest. I promised Don I would take some of my Mid-South boys and fight this force that will destroy the PNW. I will not see another great territory die to the city boys out east. Long live the NWA, Long live the PNW.

The crowd started chanting long live the PNW.

Match #1

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_EddieGuerrero2.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_ArtBarr2.jpg Gringo Lovers v. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_DonBruise.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RonBruise.jpg The Bruise Brothers

Match Notes Bruno Lauer was ringside for the Bruise Brothers. The Bruise Brothers and Gringo Lovers wasted no time and went right after each other. The bigger team of Don and Ron Bruise was too much for Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr, as Guerrero almost could not get his shoulder up after a big powerslam before the referee got to three. The Bruise Brothers started to get a little cocky and started yelling at the crowd. Art Barr took one of these opportunities and almost won the match with a roll-up on Don. This just seemed to piss off Don and Ron, as they just started going crazy on Guerrero and Barr. Each Bruise Brother had Guerrero and Barr in opposite corners and just started hitting with punch after punch. The referee tries to break it up but he gets shoved by the brothers. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by Disqualification….. Gringo Lovers at the 8:06 mark.

Post Match Attack

The bell does nothing to stop the beating by the Bruise Brothers on Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr. Bruno Lauer grabs a chair from beside the ring and slides it into the ring. Guerrero gets choked slammed onto the chair from Don, Ron then Chokeslams Barr onto Guerrero. Lauer starts yelling at the fallen Gringo Lovers.

NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Title Match

Match Notes Percy Pringle came down to ringside with The Sheepherders. Steve Doll and Scott Peterson were loved by the crowd, as they showed off the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team titles. Butch Miller and Luke Williams did not take this to kind and went right of the Southern Rockers. Doll and Peterson was ready for them and quickly sent them to the outside to regroup with Pringle. The crowd loved that. Miller and Doll start the match officially and Doll gets the early advantage on Miller. Double Elbow from Doll and Peterson almost gets a three count for the Southern Rockers. Pringle gets involved in the match distracting the referee, allowing Williams to sneak into the ring, pretending to be Miller. The switch worked as Miller gets the advantage on Peterson. The Sheepherders turn the match into a brawl and do not allow Peterson to make a hot tag to Doll. The crowd was getting louder and louder for Peterson to make the tag. Peterson finally makes the tag and Doll hits Miller, then Williams, a clothesline to Miller makes him fall out of the ring and then another clothesline for Williams put the Sheepherders in trouble. Doll gets Williams into the DDT position and calls for Peterson to join him. All of a sudden Doll gets hit in the back of the head with the championship belt for Miller, knocking him out. The referee calls for the bell from the cheating Sheepherders. The Southern Rockers make defence number 1 of their NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team titles.

Winner by Disqualification….. The Southern Rockers at the 12:51 mark.

Scott Peterson tries to come to the aid of Steve Doll but he too gets hit with the championship belt but this time Percy Pringle is the one doing the damage. The Sheepherders stand over the fallen Southern Rockers, holding the NWA Pacific Northwest Championship belts over their heads, taunting the crowd.

Match Notes The Portland crowd clearly loves Archangel and hates Rip Oliver as they enter the ring. Brian Adams and Mike Miller came down to the ring with Rip Oliver. Dark Journey comes down to the ring with Archangel. Oliver wants starts the match with trying to get Archangel in for a test of strength. The crowd is yelling at Archangel not to trust Oliver. Archangel does anyways and takes a boot to the gut and then a forearm to the head forcing Archangel to the corner. Oliver goes for an elbow but Archangel escapes and starts hitting Oliver with chops to the chest. Oliver drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring to regroup with Miller and Adams. Miller and Adams each get on the ring apron, allowing Oliver to sneak behind Archangel. Oliver hits Archangel with another forearm and then a forcing him down to the mat and locks in a chinlock. Archangel quickly escapes but gets tripped up by Adams on the outside, allowing Oliver to hit some punches and then a clothesline. Oliver locks in another chinlock, which Archangel escapes again, only to be tripped up again by Miller this time. Oliver takes advantage again and gets another chinlock. The crowd is clearly getting riled up by the Clan and their tactics. Archangel escapes once again but slides to the outside attacking Miller before Miller could trip him up. Adams tries to attack Archangel but gets sent into the crowd instead. Archangel gets back into the ring and quickly gets Oliver on the defense with an arm-drag and couple hard chops. Oliver is begging in the corner but Archangel is having none of it and starts chopping him some more. Archangel gets Oliver to the second rope and tries for a suplex of the rope but Oliver fights back and gets Archangel to fall back to the mat. Archangel does not give up and goes for it again. He starts hitting the back of Oliver and then gets the suplex. Bill Irwin and John Tenta come running into the ring and start attacking Archangel. The referee quickly calls for the bell, ending the match.

Winner by Disqualification ….. Archangel at the 8:22 mark

The Clan Attack

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RipOliver.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/BrianAdams2-1.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_MikeMiller.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/JohnTenta3.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_BillIrwin.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/th_no_picture.jpg

John Tenta and Bill Irwin get Archangel on top of the turnbuckle. Then Irwin hits the Superplex, crashing Archangel to the mat. Tenta comes running of the ropes and jumps on the chest of Archangel. Rip Oliver comes into the ring holding a microphone, with Brian Adams and Mike Miller right behind him.

Rip Oliver: Have you forgotten about me Portland? Have you forgotten who I’ am Portland? Have you forgotten about the Clan, Portland? I have given you EVERYTHING, PORTLAND. I have spilled my blood in this very ring for your pleasure and what do you do Portland, you boo me, you yell at me, you wish me lose. You cheer the likes of the Billy Jack and Roddy Piper who would easily jump to the bigger promotion out east. The outsiders like Archangel and Nick Bockwinkel who have done nothing for you. I HAVE GIVEN YOU MY LIFE, PORTLAND and this is how you treat me? Buddy Rose and his army out to make the PNW into the new UWF. Bill Watts come strolling into the ring with the permission of the old man to bring back the glory of the PNW. So I tell you this PORTLAND, I’m mad at each one of you. So I’m not here to protect the PNW from Buddy Rose or live in the glory of the past, I’ am here to destroy the PNW. When the Clan is done, the PNW will be no more. No more cheering for your favorite gutless heroes. No more Portland Sports Arena, just a flea market, a stain on the city of PORTLAND. This I swear to you PORTLAND, wrestling is done.

[Grade 74]

Overall (74)

Show Notes:

Another great show and it really feels like the PNW is really hitting a great stride right now. Feuds and wrestlers are really performing at a high level right now.

As you know Matt Borne died from a drug overdose which was kind of shocking to me. The bad luck for the PNW continues as we have had two deaths in the promotion now. He was part of the Clan storyline which made me adjust some people around as you saw.

Yes I know three straight disqualification matches was a not very creative but this show was more to get the main angle going. I would also like to thank olympia for coming to me with an idea about adding Bill Watts into the invasion angle. I thought it was a great idea and will work perfectly for where I want to go with the storyline.

Terry Gordy’s storyline will start next week against a mystery wrestler.

I would also like to thank fullMETAL for making those awesome titles for me. Once again thank you.

If any of you who read this dynasty are good at making logo’s, I would love to talk with you as I’m trying to get a new logo to reflect the changes in the promotion that will affect after Wrestling Extravaganza.

I have changed the format a little and the match details as well to have a little better flow. Please let me know what you think about that.

Thank you for reading.

Main Event: Archangel vs. Terry Gordy (NWA Pacific Heavyweight Championship Bout)

Gordy failed to get the job done in PPV so I´d assume he doesn´t success here either.

Match #1: Chris Adams vs. Al Madril

Not sure about this one but I think that you need to build some faces up more than heels so Adams gets the win.

Match #2: The Army (Roberts & DeBeers) vs. Next Generation

Better team, doing more etc.

The Announcement of the 16 team tournament to crown the NWA United States Tag Team Champions

Dark Match #1: Leroy Brown vs. Rex King

No idea who Brown is and what to expect on him so I go with Rex.

Dark Match #2: D.J. Peterson vs. Grizzly Jack

Again I´m just going with a guy I´m more familiar.

maybe the new mystery man will cost Gordy the match? Archangel seems primed for bigger things against the King of Destruction, Rip Oliver

Match #1: Chris Adams vs. Al Madril

giving the newcomers some wins

Match #2: The Army (Roberts & DeBeers) vs. Next Generation

Army is a bigger deal

The Announcement of the 16 team tournament to crown the NWA United States Tag Team Champions

And who Bill Watts will be bringing into the PNW.

Dark Match #1: Leroy Brown vs. Rex King

Bad Leroy Brown - he can be a mover and a shaker (literally, as Elijah Akeen, he half the 800 pound Zambuie Express)

Dark Match #2: D.J. Peterson vs. Grizzly Jack

Jack is being built as part of Sullivan's team. DJ may need a little seasoning

Even though I knew it was coming, the Watts promo gave me goosebumps. "Alamao" of the NWA was a classic line that seems perfect coming from Watts. Oliver's promo on the other hand was revolting! How can anyone in the NW cheer for him now? :D perfectly sets him up as a top heel - while Rose is trying to take over the PNW with his UWF cronies, Oliver just plans to destroy it and burn the ground underneath it. Surely someone stand up to him and stop him.

Been looking at your title situation again (sorry!) and I have only one thing to say/ask: you should really take the time to consider which set of titles are going to be the named ones after the unificatins happen. By which I mean NWA-PNW Heavyweight or NWA North American, NWA-PNW Tag Team or NWA US Tag Team, etc...

I mean, there's the consideration that the former titles are the homegrown names, but the latter ones fit in so much better with your push towards national...

I don't see too big of an issue having the national titles as well as the local named ones. YOu have two main event belts which I think works. The NWA Pacific title held by Rose has a good prestige and growing; while the North American Title that Taylor brought in has a much higher prestige. It could start to slide some unless the defenses are extrordinary.

WCW has its Western States Heritage title (in addition to the World and US). CWA / USWA had its International Title as they began to expand, but also kept their Southern HW title (which many argued was more prestigeous because of its local history). They also had a Mid-America title and at one point the Unified World title. WWE added a European title to cover that key section. SO maintaining a "Pacific" named title to honor the tradition of the company's roots seems to follow the course of others. Still a few years from hitting the national scene but could start seeing everything west of the Mississippi River fall into shape as Cult status takes hold.

The Pacific Title (Archangel) and TV title (Sting) do give the midcard guys something to fight for and add a few storylines there. On the other hand, 5 singles titles (including the US JR) could be a bit much. Archangel's belt could be merged maybe in a consolidation match somewhere along the line as the others have specific spots (TV and Jr's). On the other hand, if you do a Brand Split, then that title could work to give a midcard belt for both brands.

Buddy Rose and Terry Taylor you will not destroy this proud wrestling city, this proud wrestling territory. Rip Oliver you want to not only burn the PNW to the ground but pour salt over the fields, never to re-grow. So we make our stand in this very ring. We will see the PNW survive and wrestling survive as well. Long live the NWA. Long live the PNW.

Backstage Buddy Rose, Terry Taylor and Terry Gordy are beating down Archangel in the hallway near the locker rooms. Col. DeBeers and Buddy Roberts coming back from their match also start attacking Archangel. Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts each grab a chair and look at each other. With out saying a word they start hitting Archangel with the chairs. Buddy Rose then picks up Archangel and hits the Las Vegas Jackpot on the concert floor. All five men walk laughing, as officials check on Archangel.

Match Notes Chris Adams and Al Mandril put on a solid match with some nice wrestling moves but the crowd did not seem to care. Even after Mandril had Adams in the Indian Deathlock for a moment, the crowd did not care. The finish came when Mandril went for another attempt for the Indian Deathlock but Adams rolled him up into a pin situation and got the three count, to a lukewarm cheer from the crowd.

Billy Jack walks to the ring as Terry Gordy is waiting in the ring with Buddy Roberts, laughing and having a good time.

Billy Jack: Earlier your ruthless attack knocked Archangel out of action for tonight match, so once I heard this I called an old friend about showing up to the Portland Sports Arena to teach some punks a good hard lesson. So he came to the arena and he is ready to face you Terry Gordy to a match.

Brett Sawyer comes running in from the back and slides into the ring, as Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts exit in the ring in surprise.

Match Notes Terry Gordy waited a second before entering the ring to face Brett Sawyer and found out that was a mistake, as Sawyer quickly beat him out of the ring to a good size cheer from the crowd. Gordy regroups with Buddy Roberts before re-entering the ring and pokes Sawyer in the eye to get his own advantage. The match goes back and forth as Sawyer tired to keep the more wrestling mode with holds and suplex’s but Gordy wanted to match to fall into a brawl type match with clotheslines and stiff punches. Every time when Sawyer started to get the momentum on his side Buddy Roberts would interfere in the match before Billy Jack could stop it. Gordy went for the Powerbomb but Sawyer escaped and hit the DDT on Gordy. Sawyer went for Diving Splash but Roberts started attacking Sawyer. Jack then started attacking Gordy who was getting up to join in on the attack. The referee clearly had no idea what was going on and just ask for the bell. It is announced that the match has ended in a double disqualification.

Buddy Roberts and Brett Sawyer continued with each other, as Billy Jack and Terry Gordy. Just quickly Buddy Rose, Terry Taylor and Col. DeBeers come running into the ring. Billy Jack and Brett Sawyer could not overcome the odds. The cavalry of Bill Watts Crew came running to the aid of Billy Jack and Brett Sawyer. The UWF Army is now overwhelmed with the odds of the new comers. The Clan quickly follows, as the ring is getting overcrowded with wrestler. The Southern Rockers then come running into the ring, helping push the Watts Crew, Billy Jack and Brett Sawyer out of the ring. UWF Army and The Clan look at each other wearily but the groups separate from each other.

Show Notes:

Not what I thought it would be but I guess things like this will happen with the different stables are competing with each other and some wrestlers do not a big northwest presence. Chris Adams and Al Madril are going to be dropped down on the card, as are not ready to be that close to the main event with their awful match.

The Fabulous Freebirds and Rock & Roll Express are going to be a big welcome into the tag team ranks and the major storyline of the invasion angles for the PNW. Now we have three of the stables set up and the PNW Loyalist (called for right now) will be introduced soon as a stable, even though they have were all together on the card.

The NWA North American Tag Team Tournament looks like this:

Power & Glory vs. The Gringo Lovers

US Males vs. Fabulous Freebirds

Nick Kiniski & Carl Styles vs. Rock and Roll Express

Lightning Express vs. Bruise Brothers

Sting & Mystery Partner vs. The Grapplers

The Sheepherders vs. The Southern Rockers

Next Generation vs. The Clan (Brian Adams & Mike Miller)

Darkness Rising vs. The Fantastics

You can predict the winner if you would like to?

I will be doing monthly tours into the mid-west/mid-south/southwest and British Columbia with the full roster to get that cult status. I will try to use wrestlers that are from their as much as possible to help with the attendance.

Storylines that are going on right now:

Invasion Angle between the UWF Army, The Clan, Watts Crew and PNW Loyalist

Buddy Rose vs. Billy Jack

Archangel vs. Rip Oliver

Sheepherders vs. Southern Rockers

The Executioner Challenge

Rick Rude & The Grappler vs. The Fantastics

Chris Adams vs. The Latin Lover Al Madril (hopefully they can improve)

Terry Gordy vs. Brett Sawyer

To hell with Doug Gilbert that is the last time I pick him to win anything!!!:D

You do not have to worry about Doug Gilbert anymore. I had to let him go after getting in a fight with Buddy Rose. 5 fights since he has been with the PNW and then getting in a fight with Buddy Rose will get you released.

if you are able to expand your TV show to the midwest/south, you might consider filming an episode or 2 every month on location there - featuring the new guys. they will perform better there which in turn will help them get over back "home". Likewise your main roster will do better in NW, and beaming them into the new areas should help there. Over time, they'll be able to have better matches in the frontiers - in theory anyway.

does anyone know offhand how popular you need to be in a new territory in order to score a local tv show there?

Main Event: Billy Jack & Brett Sawyer vs. Fabulous Freebirds

Tough one as I believe that Jack is the top name here but I´m not so sure about Sawyer (or where Freebirds stand on terms of push) and thus I go with real tag team.

Match #1: Southern Rockers vs. Sheepherders (First Round of the NWA North American Tag Team Titles Tournament)

Rockers are already tag champs and quite new ones so I don´t expect Sheepherders to be able to win the titles of from them, which means that they will likely win here in order to get them a win over champs.

Match #2: Sting vs. Eddie Gilbert (NWA Pacific Television Title Bout)

Too early for Sting to lose the title.

Dark Match #1: The Gringo Lovers vs. Power & Glory (First Round of the NWA North American Tag Team Titles Tournament)

Bigger names, doing more etc.

Dark Match #2: The Executioner vs. Brady Boone (Five Minute Challenge)

Boone isn´t the one who will beat Executioner

Match Notes Percy Pringle came to the ring with The Sheepherders. Scott Peterson and Luke Williams start out the match, which was won by Peterson to the cheer of the crowd. Williams puts his head together with Butch Miller and Pringle as Peterson and Steve Doll are playing with the crowd. Miller comes running towards Peterson but Peterson hits an arm-drag and then three more arm-drags forcing one of the Sheepherders to retreat back to his corner. Williams comes back in and gets the advantage to the Sheepherders after poking Peterson in the eye after Peterson pushed him into a corner. Peterson then gets pounded in the corner by Williams and then gets pounded into the mat from Miller. Miller then bits the forehead of Peterson and spits out the blood from his mouth onto the chest of Peterson. Williams comes back in and starts hitting the cut with his fist over and over, blood staining his fingers. Peterson try’s to break free but runs to the wrong corner, allowing Miller to trap him once again. The crowd is going crazy as Miller is once again biting Peterson. Doll has had enough of this and walks around the ring and starts attacking Williams. Miller then goes to outside and goes after Doll. The Sheepherders are going for a suplex on the concrete floor until Peterson saves his partner. Both teams are now brawling in near the fans, as the referee rings the bell for the double countout. Neither team is moving on in the NWA North American Tag Team Title Tournament.

The two teams continued, as they brawled through the crowd. Butch Miller and Luke Williams throw Scott Peterson door but Steve Doll hits a Superkick on Williams who bounces off a wall. Miller gets his hands on Doll and bounces his head of the wall several times, leaving a bloody dent in the wall. Percy Pringle gathers up his Sheepherders and they go through the door into door they threw Peterson into.

Match Notes Billy Jack and Brett Sawyer came out with the crowd loving them. The Fabulous Freebirds came to the ring with Buddy Rose and the crowd let them know how much they hated them. The crowd was even throwing paper cups and trash at the team. Billy Jack and Buddy Roberts start with Jack forcing Roberts into the corner, which then Roberts’s puts his head under the top rope causing the referee to push Jack back to the middle of the ring. Jack goes after Roberts again who then slides out of the ring. The crowd really lets him have it for leaving the ring. Roberts reenters the ring but leaves just as quickly before Jack could get a hold of him. The crowd is really letting Roberts have it now. Roberts finally engages with Jack but quickly pokes him in the eye and tags in Terry Gordy. Gordy goes for a running clothesline but Jack beats him to hit and Gordy’s head bounces of the mat. A flying knee drop from Jack gets a two count on Gordy. Jack tags in Sawyer who quickly wraps Gordy in a headlock. Roberts comes into the ring to break that up, which allowed Gordy to hit a low-blow on Roberts. A tag to Roberts and Sawyer become tapped in the wrong corner. Several times Sawyer tries to make the hot tag but either Buddy Rose distracted the referee or distracted Billy Jack to prevent the tag. Sawyer slips through the grasp of Gordy and makes the hot tag. The crowd goes crazy as Jack hits a clothesline on Gordy and then another one for Roberts. Gordy gets sent to the outside with another clothesline. Buddy Rose gets in the ring but takes clothesline and slides out of the ring. Jack is now stalking Roberts, as the crowd is going crazy for what they know will happen next. Gordy comes out of nowhere and hits a High Angle Back Suplex on Jack. Sawyer gets back to his feet and brawls with Gordy to the outside. Roberts goes for the cover, using the ropes for extra leverage to get the pinfall.

You know I was thinking along the same lines as Zergon in regards to this, because D.J. isn't some scrub he was pretty decent. However, I still do not think he will win.

Rip Oliver Interview

Rip Oliver walks to the middle of the ring with Mike Miller, Brian Adams, John Tenta and Bill Irwin.

Rip Oliver: Archangel why do you hid behind a woman? Are you that much of a coward that you cannot show your face? You are the perfect coward to protect dying promotion. I have told you before Portland, I will destroy the PNW, burn to the ground, lay salt over the ground and stomp on it before I leave. Each one of you are not worth…..

The lights all of a sudden go out. In about a minute the lights come back up. Mike Miller, Brian Adams, John Tenta and Bill Irwin are laying on the mat, eyes closed. Rip Oliver stood in the middle of the ring, untouched, with a cross in his hand instead of a microphone.

Match #2

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RickRude2.jpg Rick Rude v. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_TommyRogers2.jpg Tommy Rogers

Match Notes The Grappler came down to the ring with Rick Rude. Rick Rude and Tommy Rogers start out very tentatively until Rude hits an arm drag on Rogers. Rogers bounces right back up but Rude poses to the crowd instead of paying attention to him. Rude turns around and Rogers hits him with a dropkick and then follows with his own armdrag. Rude rolls out of the ring to regroup with The Grappler. Rude comes back into the ring asking for a test of strength from Rogers. Rogers falls for it and takes a foot to the gut and then a snap suplex. The action went back and forth between Rogers and Rude with no wrestler getting the advantage as every move was counter with another move. Rogers went for a Missile Dropkick off the top-rope but Rude sweeps him aside and quickly goes for a small package. Rude grabs the ropes to had more leverage as the referee hits the mat three times.

Billy Jack: Buddy Rose I will meet you in the cage at Emerald Fusion and I will take that Heavyweight Championship from you as well. The PNW is not dead, Portland wrestling will survive for as long as I have heart beat, as you Portland keep this heart beating. I will not see anyone destroy what is truly in my heart.

Oliver hip tosses Olympia to break the hold and they both fall to the outside. Oliver gets the advantage and rams Olympia’s head into the steel corner and then hits the atomic drop. Oliver send Olympia back into the ring and returns before the ten count. Oliver delivers a clothesline off the ropes, but Olympia avoids a second one and goes for a rollup. Oliver counters into his own roll-up for a two count. Oliver back Olympia into the corner with some uppercuts and grabs headlock. Oliver hits a slam just as quickly but only gets a two count. While Oliver argues the count, Olympia recovers and tosses him over the top rope. Olympia gets a roll-up two count as Oliver tried to re-enter the ring. Oliver rolls through another roll-up into his own for another two count. The two just start slugging out now with no one getting the advantage. Olympia comes walking out of the corner holding his chest right into the arms of Oliver. Oliver hits the Piledriver and the referee counts to three.
