Main Event: Archangel vs. Terry Gordy (NWA Pacific Heavyweight Title Bout)

Gordy doesn't seem like the kind of guy you'd just bring in to job on tv - I'd expect maybe a COR win for him here to set up a bigger match for them at the ppv - Gordy claiming Archangel was scared of him and next time he won't have anywhere to run away because .. _____ .. (ring surrounded by barbed wire or lumberjacks or something)

Match #2: Kevin Sullivan vs. Steve Doll (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title Bout)

Match #3: The Executioner vs. Billy Two Eagles

interesting choice putting Ferris under the mask - wasn't Dutch the happy go lucky face manager? what caused him to turn heel?

Dark Match #1: Eddie Gilbert vs. Scott Peterson

Dark Match #2: Nick Kiniski vs. Curtis Thompson

Nick's on a roll!

LOVED the Piper debut - and apparantly so did the fans in attendance!!! He makes a perfect opponent for Rose for your APRIL EVENT. That saves Nick for another run when he returns (though he may have to work back into shape first to rehab the injury allowing Billy Jack to get the May-June match; and Bockwinkle the 4th of July "fireworks" show (Portland Pyromania)

Before the next match, Dutch Savage is standing in the middle of the ring with his masked wrestler by his side.

Dutch Savage: I know you’re asking yourself, what's going on with you Savage? I’ll tell you what happened. I got tired of hearing your cheers, tired of standing here looking for you approval. I could see the moment when you would stick that knife right in my back, so I left looking for a weapon to destroy your beloved PNW, before you destroyed me. So I found the The Executioner in Europe, waiting for the change to roll some heads. And that is what we are about to do, starting tonight with Billy Two Eagles. The Gelatin is lock and ready Billy. Come face you nightmare in the The Executioner.

The Love Pit with Rick Rude

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RickRude2.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/th_RipOliver.jpghttp://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i387/thunderwill/TEW/BrianAdams2-1.jpg

Just off the Crow Nest a little section, that has a purple lounge chair and a purple oversized chair. A disco ball is hanging over the set and there is a red and purple background. Rick Rude is sitting in the oversized chair with The Grappler sitting on the edge of the lounge chair.

Rick Rude: Welcome to another edition of the Love Pit. Tonight I have a special guest with me, Rip Oliver and Brian Adams. Now let’s get right to business fellows. Oliver why did you leave Rose in the ring last week?

Rip Oliver: Well its real simple, I’m sick and tired of Rose. Things here in the PNW were going just fine for me before Rose came back. I was the Heavyweight Champion, I had the ladies climbing all over me and I had my own group of wrestlers to support me. We lost the The Assassin and who replaced him, the Buddy Rose lackey Col. DeBeers but I did not say word. Then I lose the Heavyweight title and instead of getting my right full rematch, Rose gets the title, but I said nothing. Then the final straw was picking an opponent for Bockwinkel. Instead of picking me, he goes out and gets a goon, a hired thug and what happens; Bockwinkel wins. I’m tired of this Rose and the disrespect you have brought upon me. (the fans begin to cheer Oliver a little) Me and Adams here will be forming are own group. (Rip Oliver and Brian Adams stand up, looking towards the camera and crowd) The Clan is here PNW and everyone will soon find out why we will be the most dominating force in wrestling and all these disgusting, back wards thinking fans will have no clue what hit them. (The fans started booing Oliver once again)

Rip Oliver and Brian Adams leave Rick Rude and the Love Pit.

Match Notes The match had some good action and average heat. Steve Doll started out very well, getting several two counts out Kevin Sullivan in his bid to reclaim the Television Title. With the help of Woman on the outside, Sullivan was able to get the advantage. Sullivan starts working on the mid-section of Doll, with several knees, shoulder thrust and stomps, all to the mid-section. Doll started a comeback but caught an abdominal stretch, causing more pressure on his mid-section. Doll was able to break the hold but once again gets caught but this time in the piledriver position. Doll backdrops Sullivan out of the move and goes running into the ropes but Woman was there trip him up. Doll quickly slides to the outside, where starts chasing Woman around the ring. The referee goes to the outside, cutting off Doll from getting his hands on Woman. Woman pretends to be injured, getting the referee to pay attention to her. Eddie Gilbert, who was ringside, sneaks behind Doll, Doll turns around and a FIREBALL right to the face of Doll. Sullivan is quickly there to roll Doll into the ring, the Double Stomp and the three count. Kevin Sullivan makes defence number 1 of the NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title.

Winner by Pinfall….. Kevin Sullivan at the 9:07 mark.

Match Notes The match featured great action and average heat. Terry Gordy and Archangel wasted little time and went right after each other. Archangel got the early advantage, hitting a couple of nice arm-drags and then chops that could be heard through out the arena. Gordy quickly turns the tide with a powerslam off the ropes on Archangel. Running legdrop only gets two, as Gordy was going for the victory. Archangel reverses a abdominal stretch into the hip toss and then the neck snap but Gordy on the defense. Forearm punches get Gordy into the corner but Gordy is able to fight out of it. A Big Boot only gets two, as Gordy starts to get frustrated. Archangel once again comes back with snapmare and then a spinning belly to back suplex only gets two. The action spills to the outside, where Gordy repeatedly slams Archangel’s head into the guard rail. Gordy grabs Archangel and an High Angel Back Suplex on the outside. in Event: Rip Oliver vs. ?????

Hard to say here but I think that Oliver needs to get the win here after his announcement on last show,

Match #2: Terry Gordy vs. Chris Adams

Not sure here but Gordy seems to be the one who has more going on after what happened in last show.

Match #3: Don Bruise vs. Steve Doll

Don is purely a tag guy while Doll have had some singles success too.

Dark Match #1: Grizzly Jack vs. Doug Gilbert

Jack is doing more.

Dark Match #2: Next Generation vs. Power & Glory

Next Generation has been doing more and looking on your last roster review you only have three face teams at the moment so Generation has better change to get some time on the spotlight.

<p>Main Event: Buddy Rose vs. ?<strong>????</strong> (If the mystery wrestler wins, he gets a title shot at Wrestling Extravaganza)</p><p>

since you are needing a new challenger, it makes sense to have it start here</p><p> </p><p>

Match #2: Rip Oliver & Brian Adams vs. <strong>The Fantastics</strong></p><p>

Fantastics have been buried of late, and this could be the start of a good feud for them. They have more tag team experience and could escape with a cheap win (dq? or a roll-up after being dominated). Post match beatdown and they are dying for another shot at the Clan. Using different members, you can stretch this out a bit</p><p> </p><p>

Match #3: Scott Peterson vs. <strong>Ron Bruise</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Dark Match #1: <strong>The Executioner</strong> vs. D.J. Peterson</p><p> </p><p>

Dark Match #2: <strong>Scotty the Body</strong> vs. Doug Gilbert </p><p>

Doug hasn't been setting the woods on fire, so Scotty the Body gets a debut win (almost rather see a debut loss to a superstar who can set his momentum at nice number)</p><p> </p><p>

too bad that Bockwinkle had a career ending injury and is set to retire.</p><p> </p><p>

Nice to see the battle of the Cripplers made its way to the PNW from its humble start in AWA. I doubt we've heard the last of those two</p><p> </p><p>

Oliver can really struggle, but then again he can shine with the right opponent and match (for me he had a 62 and 82 rating in matches with Snuka for me). in AWA, he had bad chemistry with several top stars which reduces the potential for good matches. Keep working at it, and you'll find his niche. Just like Rose, I predict you will build Oliver into a top notch star in your league. It may be that he needs to focus on tag teams for a little while to find solid footing.</p><p> </p><p>

for comparison sake - in 19 matches in my world his match average is 52. He turned in a pair of 56 ratings in PNW title defenses against Earthquake Ferris (46 and 51 in non-title losses to Ferris) - so technically, he's doing much better in your world (PNW is a 56 prestige. TOP rated card was 53 rated "Love to Burn" and best matches have been the Oliver-Ferris 56's , followed by Grappler-Miller 55). Rose has just caught on fire and helped you progress MUCH faster - you may take a few hits trying to catch the rest of the roster up, but could be worth it in the long run.</p><p> </p><p>

I know you have progressed quite a way with Rose and Bockwinkle leading the way, but a 60 rating is solid for most regions. You need to build up a few new rising stars underneath to keep the momentum going. Rip could be a good one to break in the new guys. Might not be the highest ratings, but building up his status (and teaching the new guy). A loss now and then to keep him humble - let's see how he does against Billy Jack. Tough nut to crack, but I have faith you can do it.</p>

The Fantastics started the match on fire, knocking both Rip Oliver and Brian Adams to the outside. Rip Oliver is able to slow the match down and he and Adams used some quick tags to keep Tommy Rogers trapped in the wrong side of the ring. Oliver comes running of the ropes trying to clothesline Rogers but Rogers ducks out of the way and Oliver clotheslines the referee instead. Rogers quickly grabs Oliver and throws him out of the ring and tags in Fulton. Fulton and Rogers have Adams in trouble and the Rocket Launcher is connected. Before Fulton can go for the pin, Mike Miller, Kerry Brown and Bob Holly all come running down the ring. Brown and Holly drag Rogers to the outside and hit a Double DDT on the floor. Miller hits Fulton with the 2X4 and then lays the 2X4 on the neck of Fulton, the Louisiana Leg Drop gets a big boo from the crowd. Oliver finally gets back into the ring and helps the referee to his feet. Jake Roberts wasted very little time and just went right after Rose, knocking him from post to post before Rose bails out. Rose is saying he has had enough and starts’ walking to the back but Bockwinkel is standing there with his crutches. The distraction allows Roberts to attack Rose from behind and drag him back to the ring. Rose is begging for mercy in the corner but Roberts is having none of it and hits Rose with several hard shots to the head. Rose is now crawling out of the corner with Roberts just stalking him and once again Rose is begging for mercy in the corner. Roberts once again has none but Rose hits a low blow before Roberts can do any damage and bails out of the ring once again. Roberts recovers and follows Rose to the outside which Rose starts running around the ring and then slides in the ring. Roberts is right behind him but Rose once again bails out. The crowd his really letting Rose have it. Roberts is using the ring as cover as he sneaks to towards Rose who is confused on where Roberts went to. Rose walking past a post and gets hit with a massive clothesline from Roberts. Roberts throws him back into the ring and only gets a two count. Rose is in trouble again in the corner but a poke to the eye and a clothesline finally gets Rose on the offensive side of the match. Rose really slows the match down with chinlocks and headlocks, as the crowd his going crazy for Roberts to break the holds. Roberts finally breaks out of the hold and goes on the offense to the delight of the crowd. Rose is able to get the advantage back by blocking a suplex attempt and gets his own suplex instead. ONE, TWO, THR…. NO Roberts out at the last second. Rose gets him in position for the Las Vegas Jackpot but Roberts counters and hits the DDT out of nowhere. ONE, TWO, THREE. Main Event: Roddy Piper vs. The Grappler

Since Jake the Snake came into take the main event match with Rose, I'll assume somethings up with Piper - therefore going with the local guy to get the win and big boost. Post match antics could bring out Billy Jack to help set up their match

Match #2: Rip Oliver vs. Bobby Fulton

Oliver needs the mega push to become ROSE-like

Match #3: Kevin Sullivan vs. Art Barr (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title Bout)

thought I may think it's too early, the owner may not - he wants his son to hold a title belt.

Dark Match #1: Tommy Rogers vs. Mike Miller

Another PNW original who needs a little love - always a good fit on the midcard with some short term ventures up the card to make the main eventers look good. Rogers will get his wins back in tagmatches

Dark Match #2: The Executioner vs. Curtis Thompson

Main Event: Roddy Piper vs. The Grappler

Piper is the bigger name but Grappler is the one who has storyline going so he should take this one.

Match #2: Rip Oliver vs. Bobby Fulton

Oliver should be able to beat midcard tag guy without much troubles.

Match #3: Kevin Sullivan vs. Art Barr (NWA Pacific Northwest Television Title Bout)

No title change yet.

Dark Match #1: Tommy Rogers vs. Mike Miller

Rogers is doing slighly more thanks to him being part of a tag team while Miller lost his partner just a little while ago and haven´t been seen much after that.

Buddy Rose: It does not matter who I face at Wrestling Extravaganza I will leave the card the greatest champion in PNW history. Jake Roberts is just the next in line who I will destroy to keeping my belt. Roberts why don’t you ask Jimmy Snuka’s maggot filled body what happens when you face me. Ask Nick Bockwinkel’s destroyed knee about the dangerous of facing me. Ask all the victims I have left in my way to become the best. So you might want to watch you back Roberts.

Match Notes The match had some good action and average heat. Art Barr took the early advantage but the presence of Woman, Grizzly Jack and Eddie Gilbert keep Barr from taking the match early. Kevin Sullivan was able to use these distractions and interference to get the advantage back. Barr hit a nice flying bodypress off the ropes to get the advantage back. Barr made a mistake in climbing the top rope to go for the victory but Eddie Gilbert blinds him with a Fire Ball. Sullivan hits the Double Stomp of the second rope for the victory. Kevin Sullivan makes defence number 2 of his NWA Pacific Northwest Television title.

Terry Gordy: Where are you Archangel? The NWA Pacific Heavyweight Title is mine, so if you want this belt back you’re going to have to defeat me at Wrestling Extravaganza to get it back. If you think you’re hurting now, just wait until I’m done with you at Wrestling Extravaganza.

Match Notes The bout had a good crowd and good action. Bobby Fulton got out to a fast start and got a quick two count on Rip Oliver but a low-blow turned the tide for Oliver. Oliver took complete control over the match but was just unable to put Fulton away. Fulton slowly started to come back and hit a big bodypress out of nowhere but Oliver rolled with move and got another pin attempt but Fulton was able to get his foot on the rope. Fulton started another comeback but Oliver quickly ended that when he hit the Piledriver to end the match.

Match Notes The bout that had a good crowd and good action. Roddy Piper just comes right out and takes it to The Grappler. The Grappler hits a low blow to escape the ring and rest on the outside. Piper went after him but The Grappler was ready and turns the tide on Piper. The Grappler throws Piper in the barriers several times and then the ring post before sliding back into the ring. Piper barely makes it back into the ring before he is counted out. A stream of blood is dripping out of a cut on the forehead of Piper. The Grappler uses every cheat in the book to keep Piper down and keep the blood flowing from the cut. Piper turned things around after hitting an Atomic Inverted Drop, causing the curl in the corner. Piper hit a backdrop and then started stomping The Grappler. The returning Rick Rude comes running out from the back but instead of going after Piper he clotheslined the referee out of the ring and then went after Piper. Piper was ready though and quickly had Rude in the sleeper hold. The Grappler was able to recover and stop the Rude from going to sleep. A double suplex brings Piper down. The crowd is cheering for Piper to come. Billy Jack really gets the crowd hot as he came running to the ring. Jack tries going after The Grappler but Rude gets in the way. Jack quickly slams Rude to the mat and catches The Grappler from leaving the ring. A short-arm clothesline and then Jack gets The Grappler in the Full-Nelson Lock. The referee finally gets back into the ring and calls for the bell. Rude breaks up the Full-Nelson Lock but Jack catches him in the lock, as The Grappler retreats outside the ring. Jack lets go of the Full-Nelson Lock and Piper then puts the sleeper on Rude to a big cheer from the crowd. The bell is stilling echoing in the building, with no winner announced.

Double DQ at the 23.04 mark.

Roddy Piper: Several weeks ago I defeated Buddy Rose, so I’m demanding that I be part of the Heavyweight title bout at Wrestling Extravaganza. (Piper points to the cheering crowd) You tell me the fans of the PNW. Do I deserve a title shot as well? (The crowd is going crazy, screaming out yes) Well I think we have your answer.

Show Notes:

The big push for Wrestling Extravaganza is on now. I hope to have more then 1927 fans show up to the Coliseum this year.

Well it has been one year since I started and the PNW is growing and doing some great things. The PNW has had some bad luck along the way with Snuka dying, injuries and wrestling leaving have been a problem at times but overall the PNW is going down the right path. With almost 2 million dollar in the bank, I think it might be time to try to push towards Cult now, as I think I have the personal to make the move. Could this be the year the PNW becomes something more then a regional power?

Please let me know what you think about the shows.

Thank you for reading.

Main Event: Terry Gordy vs. Billy Jack

I go with draw here as both guys have big match coming.

Match #1: Rip Oliver, Matt Borne, Brian Adams & Mike Miller vs. Tommy Rogers, Bobby Fulton, Art Barr & Eddie Guerrero

Could go either way, face side looks more united with two tag teams there but Oliver is the biggest name in this one so I go with him.

Match #2: Bruise Brothers vs. Billy Two Eagles & Curtis Thompson

Real team over random pair of jobbers.

Dark Match #1: Kevin Sullivan, Eddie Gilbert & Grizzly Jack vs. Doug Gilbert, Angelo Mosca Jr. & Scott Putski

Bigger names

Dark Match #2: The Executioner vs. $10,000 Challenge Opponent

These kinds of challenges will continue for some time and I doubt we see an end on this one in dark match.

Curtis you may look something like Kurt Angle but you don't wrestle like him.

Dark Match #1: Kevin Sullivan, Eddie Gilbert & Grizzly Jack vs. Doug Gilbert, Angelo Mosca Jr. & Scott Putski

Doug Gilbert and Scott Putski there is a whole lot of suck on that team.

Dark Match #2: The Executioner vs. $10,000 Challenge Opponent

Pretty much what Zergon said, you can drag this out for a couple of months. My favorite part of these types of challenges is when the guy is about to win and the manager or someone gets involved and costs him the chance to win the $10,000

Art Barr got trapped in the wrong corner and was just tormented by the other team. The match quickly broke apart with every member entering the ring at once, when Oliver hit a low blow on Barr, keeping in his corner. Match Notes The bout featured great action and a good crowd. Billy Jack started the match hot and the crowd loved the pounding that Terry Gordy was receiving. Gordy escapes the ring to re-gather himself but Jack is right there. Gordy gets the upper hand and throws Jack over the guard rail into the crowd. The match broke down and feel into a wild street brawl instead of a wrestling match, as very little wrestling moves were being used. The referee takes a clothesline in the corner and falls to the mat knocked out. Jack gets the Full Nelson on Gordy but the referee is out. The Grappler comes from the back and starts attacking Jack. Gordy and The Grappler are double teaming Jack, until Archangel comes running from the back to a big roar from the crowd. Archangel goes right after Gordy. The referee finally is able to stand and calls for the bell and the double disqualification of the match.

Double DQ at the 23.04 mark.
