WWE Big Time (2006)

This is the WWE booked post WM 22, I played from January 2006 up until WM 22 copying the WWE's booking completely from then. The one change was that Batista was not injured in my game, because of this he was added to the WM 22 WHC match which ended up being Batista, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio, as in real life Rey won the title. I then took the reigns slowly moving away from the WWE's booking althought it is somewhat similar in the aspect of building up to the debut of ECW on Sci-Fi (I have imported the network into the game.) It will be a monthly Raw/ Smackdown recap and seperate write ups for Pay-Per-Views. This will be the case until ECW One Night Stand where I will change it a bit , I am up to One Night Stand in terms of what I have written up so we have nearly 3 months ready!

Here are the results of WM 22...

Kane and The Big Show defeated Chris Masters & Carlito to retain the World Tag Team Titles.

Rob Van Dam retrieved the MITB briefcase before Shelton Benjamin, Ric Flair, Bobby Lashley, Finlay or Matt Hardy.

John Bradshaw Layfield defeated Chris Benoit for the US Championship.

Edge defeated Mick Foley in a Hardcore Match.

The Boogeyman defeated Booker T W/ Sharmell.

Mickie James won the Womens Title from Trish Stratus.

Shawn Michaels beat Vince McMahon in a Street Fight.

Rey Mysterio defeated Batista, Kurt Angle and Randy Orton to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

John Cena made Triple H submit and in turn retained his title.

From Wikipedia...

WrestleMania 22 was met with very positive critical response from various wrestling publications and websites. Writing for SLAM! Wrestling, Dale Plummer and Nick Tylwalk stated that "With more wrestling, less interviews, and more pageantry than the last several editions, this year's 'Mania had a
"Big Time"
feel to it." He rated the overall event 8 out 10 stars, which was a higher rating than the previous year's event. The main event between Triple H and John Cena for the WWE Championship was rated 8.5 out of 10 stars, the Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton and Batista was rated 8 out of 10 stars, the No Holds Barred match between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon received a perfect 10 out of 10 stars, the Casket match between Mark Henry and The Undertaker was rated 7 out of 10 stars, the Hardcore match between Edge and Mick Foley was rated 8.5 out of 10 stars and the Money in the Bank ladder match was rated 7 out of 10 stars.[45]*Robert Leighty Jr of 411mania gave the event an overall score of 8.0 out of 10.0 commented on how "This is a pretty solid show as both title matches deliver in one aspect or another. Shawn tries to steal the show again, but Edge and Foley take that honor in a crazy ass brawl. This was the last Mania held in an arena and it's a fun atmosphere because of the jacked up crowd. Throw in another solid Money in the Bank Match, and a memorable Woman's Title match, and you have a fun show all around!"

RAW (WM → Backlash)

http://www.hoffco-inc.com/wwe/mgs/raw/maglogo-raw5th.jpg

The night after Raw started with John Cena and Triple H talking about their great match the night before in the main event of WM 22, Triple H said he underestimated Cena, they were then interrupted by Edge who said that he was next in line and told HHH he was to go back to waiting, the three continued to argue until a match was made by Vince McMahon: Edge and Triple H against John Cena and Eugene in the main event of Raw. Triple H and Edge won when Eugene ran away and was counted out. After the match Triple H and Edge laid into Cena until a badly beaten up Mick Foley came out to make the save, his injuries from his brutal WM match were clear though and the show ended with HHH and Edge standing tall in a intense staredown. In the same night Carlito turned his back on Masters after he beat Jim Duggan, to a great reaction from the fans turning him face. During that night tension between Shawn Michaels and Vince continued after their showdown at WM. Shelton Benjamin also turned on this night after cheating his way into beating Chavo Guerrero who had just cut a promo dedicating his match to Eddie, this gained Shelton major heat. The night also saw Kenny and Mikey win the tag team championships after major interference from the Spirit Squad.

The arguing continued the following week in the title picture and a match was again made by Vince McMahon pitting his enemy Shawn Michaels with Mick Foley against the three title contenders Edge, Cena and HHH. The latter won and John Cena had to stop his partners from attacking the legends. And Kenny and Mikey retained against Kane and Big Show again after cheating with the help of The SS, who attacked the duo 5-on-2 following the match. Another interesting development that night was a début when a man named Armando Alejandro Estrada introduced himself to Ric Flair and then proceeded to introduce Umaga, who would destroy the legend in the centre of the ring finishing it with a thumb strike to the throat dubbed the "Samoan Spike", this event came after Carlito's interference gifted Flair the victory against Chris Masters.

The next week Foley announced he would be the Special Referee for the No. 1 contenders match between Edge and HHH next week, later in that night Triple H, after beating Ric Flair was attacked when trying to beat down The Nature Boy, by John Cena heightening tensions between the pair. Earlier that night RVD had signalled his intentions to go after Cena's title with his MITB privilege after making easy work of Daivari. In other events Vince continued to argue with HBK to the point he made a match where Shawn to team with “God” and face Vince and Shane at Backlash. Umaga made his in ring début absolutely destroying Scotty 2 Hotty with ease, we later saw Ric Flair from a hospital bed talk about taking the worst beating of his career at the hands of Umaga, and he promised revenge. Kane and Big Show got some revenge on The SS after three members were beaten by Carlito, Cena and Benjamin, after which the former champions attacked The Squad. But they may have had the last laugh in gifting Tomko a win over Kane later in the night. During the show, Shelton Benjamin attacked Rob Van Dam after he had beaten Matt Striker.

The following week the show opened with Mick Foley talking to Edge and Triple H, when the contenders looked to turn nasty on Foley, he back off and John Cena came and made sure Foley had back up, he then told the contenders to focus on each other tonight and the two exchange stares. The tag feud raged on as Kane destroy the champions after Mikey won a sixway match which involved another member of the SS, they worked together throughout. Elsewhere, Umaga destroyed Jim Duggan, while Rob Van Dam was again attacked by a jealous Shelton Benjamin who challenge him to a match winner takes all IC title vs. MITB to which Rob agreed. Shawn Michaels was in action where he beat Kenny of the Spirit Squad hut then was attacked by Vince McMahon, Kenny and Shane who taunted him asking where his god was now! While Carlito and Masters agreed to a match at Backlash and eventually brawled around the arena. Then the main event saw Foley referee in the Edge vs. Triple H match, the two battle so hard that they didn't realise that they drew in a double count out. Enraged, both men turned on Foley attacking him until John Cena came out and they both ran away, Cena told them he would meet Edge and HHH at Backlash, as the last Raw before the pay-per-view went off air!

SD (Start of the road → Judgement Day!)

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/WWE2006/WWESmackdown.png

The first thing we saw of Smackdown post-WM was London and Kendrick beat the tag team champions MNM, in non-title action. As well as Booker T announcing a restraining order for The Boogeyman, ultimately bringing their feud to an end, or so we thought. As a parting blow despite not physically being there, The Boogeyman made his presence know scaring Booker and costing him his match with Lashley. JBL later attacked Benoit and celebrated his title win. As tension rose between Batista and Angle, Randy Orton turned his attention to Undertaker attacking him after his rematch with Mark Henry. And Smackdown finished with Batista coming out and costing Rey a match against Kurt Angle and then brutally attack Rey after the match, turning for an unknown reason on his friend.

The next week saw Batista explain to Rey Mysterio why he attacked him citing that Rey just walked in and took his belt, and didn't even speak to him the day after, Rey said he was busy and Batista should understand but Batista instead decked Rey and left. Later in that night Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle were involved in a mass brawl and Finlay used his sheleighleigh to gain an advantage, before a match was booked between the four later that night. Randy Orton later cut a promo labelling The Undertaker a has been and said he would kill the legend for ever. Undertaker responded by attack Orton after the main event. Other incidents on SD included Benoit announcing a message from GM Teddy Long a JBL vs. Booker T, for the US title with him facing the winner of the match, and London was attacked by MNM before BK made the save.

The following show witnessed Finlay, who was pinned by Angle last week, attack Kurt. Later, Rey Mysterio confronted Batista but he would not give anything else away sticking to his story. He simply pushed him in the face and walked away. Meanwhile, JBL drew with Booker and thus a three way match was made the next week. The Undertaker and Orton's contempt for one another grew with an arena wide brawl between the two. While also on the show Batista beat up Rey Mysterio and another match made for next week was London and Kendrick vs. MNM, non-title however, but if Londrick won they would get a title shot.

The next edition of Smackdown saw just that, Brian Kendrick and Paul London beat MNM again. But the main stories continued to be: Rey vs. Batista, where Rey got at least some revenge with a flash attack ending with a 619; Finlay vs. Kurt Angle, in which The Fighting Irishman made an official challenge to Kurt Angle in which he said he loves to fight and would bash Kurt's brains in; and The Undertaker taking on Randy Orton, which saw this week neither man exchange blows but Undertaker cut a promo saying Orton has made the deadman mad and said he would make Randy Rest In Peace! A big shock took place in the US Championship match where Chris Beniot regained his title less than a month after losing it trapping Booker in the Crossface, and as much as he tried JBL could not break his grip and Booker tapped out. JBL was the last standing when he hit Chris with the belt. More and more over the weeks it seems the guys at the top aren't trusting each other, with altercations between Angle and Taker with Rey rising as all want that illustrious prize. The World Heavyweight Championship.

Backlash 2006 Card

Carlito vs. Chris Masters

As often is the case in wrestling teams can become bitter enemies in minutes. Carlito sick of Chris Masters' errors in their matches turned on Master and the crowd sided with Carlito. With both blaming each other for there losses when there were a team, who will prove to be the one who did carry the team?

Eugene, Goldust and Viscera vs. The Spirit Squad (Johnny, Mitch, and Nicky)

In this match the team dubbed the “Odd Squad” sick of The Spirit Squad making fun of them challenged to a six man tag match, they accepted the challenge and laugh at the trio, but are they underestimating the group of oddballs?

Winning the title may have pushed Mickie to a new level of crazy in that she can not authentically emulate Trish. Stratus is getting increasingly frustrated with Mickie but can she get her championship back at the first time of asking.

Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) © vs. Big Show & Kane

Two angry monsters are gunning for the Spirit Squad who have screwed them out of the Tag Titles, they sure are determined to get the belts back but can they overcome what is, essentially, a 5 on 2 handicap match?

Ric Flair vs. Umaga

Umaga debuted along with his manager Armando Alejandro Estrada, 3 weeks ago on Raw. “The Samoan Bulldozer” has been dominant since making quick work of Scotty 2 Hotty and Jim Duggan. At Backlash he face his most difficult challenge yet in Ric Flair. Can the Savage beat the legend or will the dirtiest player in the game end the trail of the destruction at the first real hurdle?

Rob Van Dam vs. Shelton Benjamin

With Shelton's momma gone he has to fend for himself, so far he has displayed an aggressive side of his personality and it seems his “momma” has set him on the right path for stardom. He has attacked RVD and the two agreed on a winner take all match, Benjamin's IC title and RVD's MITB briefcase on the line. Will we have a new Mr. Money In The Bank or is Rob Van Dam going to have the last the final blow in the his war with Shelton?

Shawn Michaels & “God” vs. Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon

Well when you’ve used bad taste in everything from necrophilia to mocking the mentally disabled why leave religion out of the equation? The McMahon v Michaels feud has been going on for over six months now but it’s still relatively entertaining however stupid the storyline is.

Their match at Wrestlemania was far better than anyone could have expected and the recent Shane v Shawn match on Raw was pretty good too but what can we expect here? Has Vince shown pure genius by asking God to take part in a match which takes place on a Sunday. Isn’t that his (or her) day of rest after all? (from NoDQ.com)

The disdain between these three is clear, while Edge and Triple H uniting in a enemy of an enemy is a friend mentality, the friction between the two is still clearly about to boil over and this match should be the eruption. Add in the prospect of holding the title and these three men will be even more determined to make sure he is the last man standing at WWE Backlash!

In the beginning of the match, Carlito had the advantage over Masters, as he jumped from the ring to the outside and impacts his chest against Masters' chest. and performed a Springboard Back elbow. Masters, however, gained the advantage and executed a Powerbomb on Carlito into the turnbuckle. Eventually Carlito performed a Back Cracker Carlito then pinned Masters while using the ropes for leverage to win the match. This match was okay for an opener but was nothing special. This match began and it was quickly clear this was tornado rules as the six men were all over ringside. While on the outside Viscera and Goldust had the advantage, it was in the ring where Eugene was beaten down by Nicky. Viscera hit a powerslam on Johnny on the guardrail. Back in the ring Eugene had fallen to a Leg Drop Bulldog and was pinned by Nicky. This was filler and not great filler at that! This match was a typical Spirit Squad match, plenty of sneaky interference and trampoline spots, but Kane and The Big Show took control, that was until Kenny messed up on the trampoline and Kane pushed him into the referee. When that happened all of the Spirit Squad got involved and the numbers were too much for Kane and The Big Show, especially after Nicky hit Kane with a chair knocking him into the corner. Big Show tried to make the save but The Spirit Squad moved and The Big Show accidentally hit Kane with a big boot which knocked The Big Red Machine down. Three of the SS knocked Big Show out of the ring and all five hit the High Spirits on Kane and Kenny hit a chair shot legdrop and pinned Kane. The referee had stayed down for all of this, until Mikey made him come around to count the three count. It was a good tag team match. After match The Big Show came in the ring to help Kane up. But Kane had a confused looked on his face which then turned to absolute fury when he choked Big Show. These two men's ring skills are outstanding and they truly shined during this highly energetic match. The match was very even and they electrified the fans with some high flying action. None of the moves however went as high as the last one, when RVD hit a high traction 5 star Frog splash on Shelton to win, and take all. “God” was represented by a spotlight moving down the ramp and entered the ring where the referee “checked” for weapons. Shawn Michaels climbed a 20-foot ladder but changed his mind and jumped onto all five members of the Spirit Squad! Spirit Squad all beat up on Shawn Michaels and gave him the High Spirits finisher through a Table inside the ring! Vince McMahon then covered Shawn Michaels for the 1-2-3 to win the match (God did not come to Michaels’ rescue). The Spirit Squad held the McMahons on their shoulders while Lawler said “The Father, son, & the Holy Spirit Squad!” Rating: </div></div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>82</strong></div></div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Winner(s): </div></div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Vince and Shane McMahon</strong></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

He came down to the ring and cleared the whole Spirit Squad from the ring and Shane bailed out. Edge steps outside the ring, wanting HHH and Cena to fight. HHH and Cena slug it out in the center and Cena wins an exchange with some flying shoulder tackles, then a corner whip and the vertical suplex gets two. Edge breaks up the count. HHH with an atomic drop to a nice pop. They punch some more, then HHH hits the high knee for two because Edge pulls him off. He’s still on the floor. With Edge standing on the apron, they punch some more and then they stop, looking at Edge. They lift him in, then trade punches on him. Edge gets knocked out to the floor, then Cena rams him into the announce table.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Back in the ring, Cena gets attacked from behind by HHH. Then Trips chucks Cena out. Edge puts him head first into the turnbuckle. Edge works on HHH on the apron, goes for a suplex in, but Cena grabs HHH’s legs and he goes face first into the apron. Cena to the top, he hits a top rope splash onto Edge for two. Spinning back suplex. Five Knuckle Shuffle time for Cena is countered by Lita as she pulls down the top rope. Cena goes sailing over the top, then eats some steps when HHH whips him into them. In ring, HHH with a facebuster on Edge and a clothesline gets him two. Whip into the corner, Edge gets the big boot up on HHH’s face, but Hunter gets a Spinebuster for two. Edge with his neck snapping move for two. Whip in by HHH and then he catches Edge with a sleeper. Edge counters into one of his own. Cena’s in, goes for a double FU, but Edge sneaks off and Edge spears Cena while he’s got HHH up in the air. </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With HHH on the floor, Edge meets him there while Cena is out in the ring. Edge with a slingshot into the ringpost and HHH starts to bleed. Edge sets up the Spanish announce table and hits the jumping DDT on the table. Table does not break, though. I’m guessing it was supposed to. HHH is bleeding huge amounts all over the ring. Edge goes to the top and hits Cena with a missile dropkick for two. Whip into the corner, Edge with a shoulder tackle. It’s not a spear if it’s in the corner is it? Edge goes for something, Cena slips out and puts him in the STFU submission hold. Edge is getting close to the ropes and HHH catches Edge’s hand before he could tap out. HHH then smashes the microphone into Cena’s head. HHH’s blood loss is massive. He’s got a chair now and he creams Edge over the rail to the concrete on the floor. HHH staggers back in, then gets hooked into the STFU. HHH looks to be out, so ref Mickey Henson raises him arm once, twice and no, HHH pushes out of it while yelling like the Incredible Hulk. He got to the rope. Cena’s up, FU is countered into a Pedigree, no, and Cena slips out into another STFU. HHH is close to the ropes. Edge is up, he goes to the top rope and Cena gets up to slug with Edge. Ref bump. Cena puts Edge on his shoulders and HHH ducks under Cena’s legs in the Electric Chair. They all tumble down at the same time. With the ref down, Lita gets in the ring with a chair, charges at HHH, but he gives a spinebuster to her. He chucks the chair out of the ring, then ducks out for his sledgehammer. Always a good pop for that. Lita’s out on the floor, no DX chop for her surprisingly and while HHH is waiting to hit Cena, Edge spears HHH. Edge grabs the hammer, charges into Cena. Cena counters to the FU, HHH hits a low blow. Pedigree attempt by HHH, no Cena counters, rolls through and covers with the one, two and three at 18 minutes. The night after Backlash Raw started with the man who saved Shawn Michaels from Vince and co. the night before, footage of this was shown as he made his way to the ring. He went on to cut a promo, which will be shown below, slightly edited.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em>“My name is Mark Copani! I was a wrestler until last year. When because of the media's ignorance, WWE was forced into firing me. When I say forced, they did not put up much of a fight. You see I am an American citizen, I was born in this country. Yet due to stereotypes I was chucked off of television. You fans you misunderstood me, but Vince McMahon you knew and you didn't do one thing to try and support me, you simply left me to die.”</em></strong></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em> </em></strong></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em>

“The New York Post called me a terrorist, I am a performer, I am a wrestler. Never was I a terrorist. They claimed the masked men where arab even though their faces were clearly covered. Vince you let me out and your lack of loyalty to your wrestlers, the people who made you a billionaire disgusts me.”</em></strong></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Vince McMahon then came out and said that Copani was simply a victim of circumstance to which he replied that the only circumstance was Vince's cowardice. He said Vince would pay for what he did to Copani. Claiming the injustice he was punished with would be nothing compared to McMahon's suffering. Saying the way he was oppressed and not allowed to exercise his rights has an American citizen to do the job he loves, will not happen again.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After that segment Vince says he is having a break from his hectic schedule and he puts The Spirit Squad in charge. Umaga then went on to win again. And Shelton and RVD continued to argue. The SS then put Edge and Benjamin in a match against Carlito. As Vince leaves the arena the tension between his and HHH is clear and McMahon looks a little stressed. Johnny and Mikey then booked themselves against Goldust and Eugene but were upset when Eugene rolled Johnny up for the pin. The Spirit Squad also announced that Cena would face Kenny for the WWE title and they ordered Joey Styles to the back, where they lectured him on how to announce Kenny's victory. The Spirit Squad said Joey Styles had no spirit and had better show some spirit during Kenny's match later. The Spirit Squad said he Joey Styles doesn't do his job he will have to wear a cheerleader outfit next week. When Joey got back Lawler made fun of him and Joey Stlyes bit back after he claimed he'd have spirit if this was ECW, to which Joey said he wouldn't be working with someone like Lawler if this was ECW and he stormed away after Jerry knocked him to the ground. After the break Jerry apoligized but Styles would not have it and Joey said:</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em><strong>

"You want to apologize? Like nothing happened. Like you didn't knock me on my ass in front of millions of people worldwide, and I'm gonna come down there and work with you. I'm not coming back, and now thanks to the magic of live television I'm gonna show the whole world, why for seven years in ECW I was the unscripted, uncensored, loose cannon of commentary. Six months ago, WWE called me, I didn't call this company because I was looking for a job. I didn't need a job. WWE called me because they had humiliated and fired...again, Jim Ross. So I get JR's spot, and from week one, week after week I've got an ongoing lecture about the differences in professional wrestling and sports entertainment. I'm not allowed to say 'pro wrestling', I'm not allowed to say 'wrestler'. I have to say 'sports entertainment' and refer to the wrestlers as 'superstars'. I'm told to deliberately ignore the moves and the holds during the matches so I can tell stories. Well ignoring the moves and the holds is damn insulting to the athletes, the 'wrestlers', not the entertainers who leave their families three hundred days a year to ply their craft in that ring. Here's the best part, because I'm not a sports entertainment storyteller I get pulled from Wrestlemania, and the reason I'm given is, is because I don't sound like Jim Ross who's the guy they fired in the first place. That makes sense, right? So I swallow the bitter pill, I'm a company guy. I get bumped from Wrestlemania. Then I get bumped from Backlash? I'm not good enough to call Backlash!? In ECW, I called live pay-per-views on my own, solo, no colour commentators dragging me down. Wasn't done before me, hasn't been done since. But I'm not good enough to call Backlash because I'm not a sports entertainment storyteller. Well you know what? I am sick of sports entertainment. I am sick of male cheerleaders. I am sick of boogers and bathroom humour and semen and I am sick of our chairman. Who likes to talk about his own semen, he mocks God... he mocks God!!!!! And makes out with the divas all to feed his own insatiable ego. I am sick of sports entertainment, and most of all I am sick of you fans who actually buy into that crap! This sports entertainment circus! I never needed this job, and I don't want this job any more."</strong></em></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jerry Lawler then called him an idiot and called the main event, which saw Cena retain against Kenny after the special referee HHH pedigree'd Kenny and walked away, HBK came down and made the count. Cena actually won via the FU.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The following week began with a promo from RVD saying he completely supports Joey Styles and commends him for his courage. Lawler then argue with him and they introduces the return Jim Ross. RVD then beat Shelton Benjamin and Tomko by pinning Shelton. Todd Grisham then interview Kane about the film “See No Evil”, but when he mentioned May 19th, the date of the movies release Kane went crazy and attacked Grisham. Later in the night The Big Show was asked about him but said he had no idea. The Big Show did say that he wants to see Kane in the ring next week to explain his actions! Also in the night Mickie James beat Maria but was attacked by a mystery fan. Mick Foley and Edge again argued with each other. The tail end of the show saw an angry Vince McMahon warn the SS that after the disasters last week they are on thin wires and will be fired if they don't book up. He put them in a match with Shawn Michaels and Mark Copani but lost when Mark Copani applied a Camel Clutch and made Mikey pass out. After the match the SS tried to attack Mark but failed when HBK helped him fend the off, HBK tried to shake hands with Copani but he was reluctant.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

On the next Raw Triple H continued to move away from Vince arguing with him in the ring. Vince demanded he help Kenny tonight against Shawn Michaels HHH declined and dropped at crotch chop at him and Vince decided to make it a 4-on-1 match as further punishment. Rob Van Dam and Cena argued and RVD said that he is cashing his MITB privilege at One Night Stand! Mick Foley and Edge continued to argue until they agree at a match at One Night Stand and they both need to find a partner. Raw also played host to the SD KOTR, where Booker T, Regal, Matt Hardy and Mark Henry. Kane again went mad when Big Show questioned him about his film, they had a match and Kane went mad, they had a match which Kane won. In the Main Event Shawn Michaels won when Triple H turned face. The two then did the DX crotch chop to the fans.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Smackdown Judgement Awaits</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The next Smackdown saw all the feuds continue to grow and the show kicked of with a long back and forth between Randy Orton and The Undertaker about how they are better than each other. Orton said Undertaker is the longest running legend in the WWE and he is going to kill it at Judgement Day, this made their match official. Backstage we saw Booker T and JBL attacking Chris Benoit, that was until Matt Hardy made the save for an unknown reason. Teddy Long then told Kurt Angle and Finlay to find an opponent for each other tonight, Finlay chose JBL, who found out when Angle attacked him during his promo about Chris Benoit. Angle won the match, when he was attacked by Finlay during the match. Finlay took on Rey Mysterio but lost when he used his sheleighleigh on Mysterio in clear sight of the referee. After the match Finlay cut a promo saying that they will have a match at Judgement day, but unlike tonight it will be No DQ. (He insinuated that getting DQ'd was his intention all along.) Also in the night we saw the return of Mr. Kennedy, when the lights went down and returned to see him with his drop down microphone in his hand he cut a promo and then quickly defeated Tatanka. MNM were again defeated when the team of Regal, and Londrick took on MNM and Paul Birchall. Kendrick got the pinfall.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The following edition saw Rey Mysterio and Batista again have an in ring confrontation where Batista explained that he hates how no matter what Batista did the fans still want Rey masks instead of Batista t-shirt. He said after he won the match at WM Rey ignored Batista's calls and didn't speak to him until the following Smackdown. Rey said he was busy and accused Batista of making it up to make an excuse for his jealousy and they got nowhere until Theodore Long said they would face off at Judgement Day, he said this match was going to be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Long also announced 16 man King of the ring starting tonight! Four matches took part that night in the tournament with Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Stevie Richards and Orlando Jordan progressing. While Randy Orton found the wroth of The Undertaker's famous mind games when a light show creeped Randy out after he cut a promo on 'Taker. Elsewhere, Angle formally accepted Finlay's challenge and the six man tag main event ended in disaster when Batista, Finlay and Orton drew with Rey, Angle and Benoit when the referee lost control and threw the match out. </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This week was the date Kane had feared and he was the main story of the show. London and Kendrick cut a promo on MNM. While the semi finals where confirmed for Judgement day as Mr. Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Booker T and Mark Henry. Elsewhere The Undertaker left a message saying he would destroy Orton, and Finlay got the upper hand on Angle, and Rey Mysterio beat a crazy Kane by pinfall when a flaming casket came out on the ramp and out came a man in a masked Kane costume, he came to the ring and hit a Tombstone Piledriver and Rey got the pinfall, the match was set up when Batista set Rey up to say May 19th which caused a crazed Kane to destroy him.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
