the conflict between Jeremy Stone and Hayes, and the conflict between Brown & Haynes and The Fighting Irish.</p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;">Initially, the cohesiveness of Hayes, Brown and Haynes works to their advantage as they manage to get McNamara isolated in their corner and go to work with quick tags, coordinated moves, and referee distraction.  The pattern is broken when McNamara rotates through a belly-to-back release suplex attempt by Brown and delivers a standing dropkick to the point of Brown's jaw just as he turns around to face McNamara.  McNamara manages to get to his corner for a tag to Jeremy Stone, who proceeds to clean house.</p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;">It is Jason O'Connor, though, who a few minutes later surprises nearly everyone; having withstood a massive beating from Harlem Haynes, jumps right at him after being whipped into the ropes and locks in a guillotine choke, wrapping his legs around Haynes' torso for additional leverage.  Jeremy Stone and McNamara recognize the moment and move to cut off Hayes and Brown.  Haynes woozily drops to a knee and O'Connor transitions into a Stretch Plum, forcing the already stunned Haynes to tap.</p></div></div> </div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; Westybrook, in the confusion, goes after Maverick, who is not the legal man, only to have DeColt roll him up from behind, grab a fistfull of tights and get the flash pin.  McFly tries to get at DeColt, but he quickly bails and laughs at McFly all the way up the ramp as the show closes.</span></p></div></div> </div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; Banger's Commentary

Orton poses

And with that, I think I'm not too far behind the big dogs.

Definitely in the thick of things. Since Big City Brawl is only the third show, we'll keep the prediction table open until the February PPV, with a prize TBD for the overall leader at that point.

Good solid promo from the Blondes, too.

Thank you, appreciate that!

Big City Brawl hype will be out in the next couple of days, though the show may not get finished until after the weekend, as I'll be traveling back to the Midwest on Saturday.

(I'll be editing a lot...)

Jeremy Stone vs. R.K. Hayes

If you're putting over Jason O'Connor...wait, that was Haynes. Assuming DeColt keeps the title (haven't decided yet; women's match was first prediction), both Stones need to be kept strong.

That and you aren't pushing Hayes. If you were, he'd be using his menace a lot more. With a couple years...he's a great big man, if you're lucky.

Kristabel Plum © vs. Melody (Women's Title Match)

I looked at their wins. Plum handily took out SAC, but Melody had issues with Connie. Granted, neither of the challengers were that good, but I'm picking the more dominant person.

Dark Angel vs. John Maverick

Maverick "won" last week (not part of the fall), and Angel lost. Both were tag matches (where neither was involved in the finish). Angel and Maverick won last week...John's got the higher upside. You're using Angel to put over young guys, I believe, before he retires.

Can-Am Blondes vs. ??? and ??? (Bonus for identifying challengers)

Blondes win to cement themselves as the next challengers (hence the title change I predicted after this. Before in time, after on the card). The opponents, though...

Obviously it's a new team. All the others are working the card (aside from Hash, but Angel is). I doubt it's the McWades, who play far better heels.

Who the hell are "Gregg Boone and Craig Green"? I'd pick them but I don't know who they are! No other teams that make sense (Duane and Edd?) show up in the title histories.

It also can't be a newly formed team (like Westybrook and Hash/Strong), because Can-Am wouldn't tolerate that. So...

Well that's funny. Guys who can be wrestlers with at least 60 pop...they're all taken. I doubt you're trading with anyone (especially not CGC), so...

No way. No ****ing way. I'd be pissed if they lost.

Challengers are Nate Johnson and Bobby Thomas, the Specialists.

They sure as hell are a real team, can be faces, slightly less popular.

The Fighting Irish vs. Omar Brown and Harlem Haynes © (Tag Team Title Match)

Here we go. Jason beat Haynes. Harlem sucks, but I think Omar's a bit better than either of the Irish. If Irish win, Blondes can take them. So it's going to be the Irish. I'd say Jason over Haynes again, but that doesn't matter.

Dan Stone Jr. vs. Johnny Bloodstone

Same reason I'm picking Jeremy earlier. You're putting both guys with younger talent (Stones with Can-Am two weeks ago), so you're giving them wins while exposing the young guys. Westybrook especially. Anyway...yeah, Bloodstone's not taking it. Yet.

Sean McFly vs. Steve DeColt © (Heavyweight Title Match)

DeColt vs. a Stone. Or both. McFly taking it, while making your main events skyrocket (as if Steve wasn't good, which is false), means that a hell of a lot of my picks are off. Two title changes, face champion with no challengers (Maverick, I guess?)...yeah.

Double Bonus Question: Who will be revealed as the new NOTBPW General Manager?

I was going to say the user character, but since JeriLynn probablyisn't it...

So now I'll think not in the italics. Hm...It's not London, Townsend, Bloodstone, Dan Stone Jr., Maverick, nor Angel. Jeremy can't be it either, and I assume it's not Liz Hardesty.

Let's try this again. SINCE IT CAN'T BE A MEMBER OF THE ACTIVE ROSTER, then...

Dear god if it's Phil Vibert I will kill you. Some interesting managers, but I don't think that guy would be brought in. I'll eliminate, for now, CGC's people.

Hurr durr I'm a moron. The GM has to be able to talk, idiot. I'm stupid (it's not Craig Prince).

Well, I'm torn between Eric Tyler and Nemesis.

I'll go with Eric Tyler as the NOTBPW GM.

Kristabel Plum © vs. Melody (Women's Title Match)

Dark Angel vs. John Maverick

Can-Am Blondes vs. ??? and ??? (Bonus for identifying challengers)

Eesh... tricky one. I think CGC's two split-up signature teams are on writtens in the stock data... but Dan Senior's not dead in the stock data... but I think I have to go with Edd Stone and someone. Not Duane, IIRC... so let's say Freddy Huggins.

The Fighting Irish vs. Omar Brown and Harlem Haynes © (Tag Team Title Match)

Dan Stone Jr. vs. Johnny Bloodstone

Sean McFly vs. Steve DeColt © (Heavyweight Title Match)

Double Bonus Question: Who will be revealed as the new NOTBPW General Manager?

Probably not Eric Tyler, purely as swiping your competition's colour guy to be GM looks a little weak. So I'll flip Eidenhoek's prediction and go for Nemesis.

Who the hell are "Gregg Boone and Craig Green"? I'd pick them but I don't know who they are!

They changed their names. They're now Antix and Rajah, and have either a strong dislike or hatred of one another.

Wallbanger, been really enjoying this so far. It's so interesting to watch what somebody else does with the same promotion, given the similar timeframe we both started off in. At the same time, I really love the narrative strength that you've got going. Your write ups are good and the promos are on the button too. Keep up the good work!

Jeremy Stone vs. R.K. Hayes

Stone will always be a perennial challenger for the title until he hangs the boots up, and you have to think that Hayes is probably going to begin that gradual descent down the card.

Kristabel Plum © vs. Melody (Women's Title Match)

I have a feeling that the woman who will end Plum's reign with the belt will be a first time champion- so that rules out Melody.

Dark Angel vs. John Maverick

Pretty even match-up here, but like Hayes I feel Angel is a veteran upper-carder who will gradually move down as he puts over younger talent.

Can-Am Blondes vs. ??? and ??? (Bonus for identifying challengers)

I see this being the sort of angle where the Blondes first challengers probably aren't going to be a major name- sort of match where you could give a promising young team a look such as Nest of Vipers (Mimic & Dagger) from ACPW.

The Fighting Irish vs. Omar Brown and Harlem Haynes © (Tag Team Title Match)

Fighting Irish are probably more talented but I just don't see them as champion material, in that case you may as well keep the belts on Brown and Haynes until the Blondes are ready to challenge for them, the division has been built up a little more.

Dan Stone Jr. vs. Johnny Bloodstone

Sean McFly vs. Steve DeColt © (Heavyweight Title Match)

I'll do the last two together, basically I think DeColt through somewhat nefarious means will stay the champion, which influences the fact that I think Stone Jr triumphs over Bloodstone, as a Bloodstone victory would make less sense with a heel champion.

Double Bonus Question: Who will be revealed as the new NOTBPW General Manager?

No Idea- I'll go for someone original, Crippler Ray Kingman.

The consequences of that attitude are put on display in the opening minutes of the bout; for their youth, Matt and Greg Keith are very comfortable with each other in the ring. Their tags are quick and crisp, their double-team transitions are sharp and impactful, and they know how to control their half of the ring.  It takes all of Carvill's skill to work his way free and make the hot tag to Love.  Love goes right after Greg, the legal Keith in the ring, and works him over while Carvill recovers.</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The Blondes play the isolation game as well as anyone, and Greg takes their punishment for a solid five minutes before he's able to catch Carvill off guard, blocking one punch, ducking under the other, going around and hitting a crisp belly to back suplex.  Greg goes for the hot tag, but once Love sees that Carvill isn't going to get to him first, he comes in, attacks Greg from behind, continues through and gives Matt a cheap shot sending him to the floor. From there the match breaks down and all four men are in the ring trading shots. In the ensuing confusion while the ref tries to put Matt back in his corner, the Blondes hit a double cutter on Greg, and Carvill scrambles back to the corner before the referee can turn around.  Love hits his finisher, the Love Gun, for good measure and makes the cover as Carvill comes across to block  Matt from making the save.</span></p></div></div> </div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="padding: 5px; text-align: center; font-size: 1.8em;"><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/notbpw2banner.jpg"></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0pt; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div id=""><p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/DanStoneJr.jpg" alt="" height="150" width="150"> <img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/JeremyStone-1.jpg" alt="" height="150" width="150"></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Backstage, we see  Dan Stone Jr. with his brother Jeremy in a somewhat secluded corner of the area where Dan is stretching while they discuss strategy amongst themselves. Neither one gains an advantage in the early going, but once Harlem Haynes is tagged in, the size and power advantage he enjoys is emphasized. O'Connor takes a beating for a minute or two, but manages to get the tag to McNamara and the pair are able to control Haynes through well-timed double-team moves and frequent tags to keep Haynes off balance.</p><p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; text-align: left;"> </p><p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The Irish are more than holding their own, but struggle to isolate either one of their opponents enough to go in for the kill. Head referee Matthew White stands between them like a human maypole, looking quickly back and forth to ensure neither man attempts to gain a premature advantage. Just as the crowd reaches a fever pitch, the bell rings and White steps back, allowing the two competitors to rush at each other in a collar and elbow tie up. After a few seconds neither gains advantage and they throw off of each other. They circle again, a little slower this time, continuing to study each other.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">They lock up again, but this time, Stone Jr. ducks under and around Bloodstone, cinches around his waist and tosses him over his back, twisting Bloodstone face down and floating over to cinch his head. Bloodstone, however, is already spinning through a sit out switch before he even touches the ground, bringing Stone Jr.'s arm along for the ride and transitioning into a wrist lock, which Bloodstone uses to bring both men back to a vertical base.  Stone Jr. fakes one direction, then spins to catch Bloodstone in a fireman's carry takedown and transitions into an arm bar.  Bloodstone forces Stone Jr. off with a swift kick to the head.  Bloodstone quickly goes after Stone, stands him up against the ropes, and delivers a quick but brutal succession of alternating European uppercuts and knife edge chops, followed by an Irish whip into the corner.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Bloodstone takes a moment too long following Stone Jr. in, and pays for it with a kick to the gut and a double underhook suplex.  Bloodstone scrambles back to his feet, only to be met by a punishing clothesline from Stone Jr.  Stone Jr. presses the advantage with a few more stiff strikes to back him up to the ropes and then pushes off to Irish whip Bloodstone  across the ring.  However, Bloodstone reverses the whip on him and deftly executes a drop toe hold, which he somersaults through into a half Boston crab, the first submission attempt of the match.  Stone Jr. reaches for the rope, realizes he is too far out of reach, then tucks his shoulder while moving his free leg outside of Bloodstone's far leg, gaining the leverage necessary to not only force Bloodstone to break his hold but also force him down while hanging on to his far leg to counter into a Stone Ankle Stretch.  Bloodstone scrambles across the ring before Stone Jr. can set his feet and clutches onto the ropes for dear life.  White calls for the break and Stone Jr. backs off, while Bloodstone takes a moment to collect himself in the safety of the ropes.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">After that initial intense exchange, the two competitors start again, looking for openings. Things go back and forth for the next few minutes, each looking to isolate and punish the body parts of their preferred finishers; Stone Jr. on the legs, Bloodstone on the shoulders and arms.  Any opportunity, however, is a good one, and just shy of the nine minute mark Bloodstone is first on the board with an ankle lock of his own on Stone Jr. in the middle of the ring, who chooses the quick tap instead of attempting to fight through or counter.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">But even the short time in the ankle lock is enough to hobble Stone Jr. for the short-term, and Bloodstone changes tack and pursues the leg, first with a double leg takedown, attempting to roll through into some form of leg lock, and when that is unsuccessful, he looks to soften Stone Jr.'s leg up further with a series of chop blocks. After connecting on the first one, Bloodstone attempts to repeat the maneuver, only to have Stone Jr. sidestep him and use Bloodstone's momentum against him, jumping on top and looking for an STF.  When Stone Jr. can't quite lock his fingers, he transitions to the arm, stepping over and scooping Bloodstone up and over with his legs to end up in a cross  arm breaker.  Bloodstone realizes that more than half the match remains, and  taps just as quickly as Stone Jr. did a couple of minutes earlier.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">With the score at one submission a piece, Stone Jr. adjusts his plan and goes after Bloodstone's shoulder in a clinical fashion;  takedowns and tosses designed to plant Bloodstone on his weak shoulder and neck, with the occasional shoulder breaker thrown in for good measure. Desperate to end the onslaught, Bloodstone maneuvers Matthew White between him and Stone Jr., and in the ensuing confusion White takes an errant shot, which Bloodstone capitalizes on by delivering a low blow to Stone Jr.  White recovers just in time to see Bloodstone pouncing on the prone Stone Jr. and locking in the Bloodstone Mutilation, to which Stone Jr. taps a couple of seconds later just past the 15 minute mark.  Bloodstone continues the assault despite the efforts of White to enforce the traditional 30 second break between submissions.  Stone Jr. is still reeling from the combined effects of the low blow and Bloodstone Mutilation, and Bloodstone adds insult to injury by next putting Stone Jr. in a Stone Hold for Bloodstone's third submission.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Now with a two -submission advantage, Bloodstone looks to slow the pace down and work the clock. For the next five minutes Bloodstone is in control, not letting Stone Jr. have an inch of daylight.  Stone Jr. needs a big moment to regain control, and he gets it when he dodges the charging Bloodstone coming into the corner, leaving Bloodstone to collide shoulder first into the ring post. Stone Jr. seizes the moment, grabs Bloodstone by the ankles, and pulls him violently out of the corner and onto his back.  Stone Jr. wastes no time; he grabs the leg, turns Bloodstone over into a single leg Boston crab, and plants his knee squarely on the weakened shoulder of Bloodstone, doing damage to both appendages simultaneously. Bloodstone has no choice but to tap 21 minutes in.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Bloodstone knows the clock is his friend now, and goes to full prevent defense-he rolls out of the ring to both avoid engagement and recover from the damage he had just taken. When Stone Jr. pursues, Bloodstone rolls back in. This sequence repeats itself a couple of times until Bloodstone decides to put the boots to Stone Jr. as he is coming in the ring. With Bloodstone dictating the pace and time ticking off the clock, he is just looking to keep Stone Jr. down.  Stone Jr. rolls out of the ring and looks to come in from another angle.  When Bloodstone moves to cut Stone Jr. off, Stone Jr. grabs his ankles and pulls Bloodstone off his feet, giving Stone Jr. the time to get back in the ring.  The two trade blows, and Bloodstone makes a critical mistake when he tries to kick Stone Jr. in the gut only to have his foot caught in a legscrew whip that is quickly transitioned into a Stone Ankle Stretch.  Bloodstone rolls through to counter, only to be re-countered back into the same hold.  With less than four minutes remaining, Bloodstone taps and the score is level at three submissions a piece.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The two competitors retreat to corners and stare each other down from a distance during the ensuing 30-second break.  Both know at this late moment that the next submission is likely the winner, as the match will continue past 30 minutes if the score is tied.  When White signals for the match to continue, both men ride an adrenaline rush and go after each other with renewed vigor.  The mat wrestling is fast and furious at this point; Bloodstone shoots the leg and takes Stone Jr. down, Stone Jr. immediately looks for a switch, doesn't find it, goes for a sit out next, but Bloodstone stays ahead of him, looking for the chance to slap in his signature hold.  Stone Jr. fakes one direction, then rolls hard the other in order to throw Bloodstone off balance. He finds Bloodstone's arm as he floats over and attempts to transition into a cross arm breaker, but Bloodstone sees the move coming and grabs Stone Jr.'s leg before it can cross over his arm.  Bloodstone gets to his feet, keeping control of the leg in an attempt to lock in a half Boston Crab, but Stone Jr. somersaults through, looking for a Stone Ankle Stretch.  Bloodstone lets his momentum roll through back to the Boston Crab attempt, and this time Stone Jr. kicks him off.  Both men get back to their feet and trade multiple  blows, trying to stun the other long enough to grab hold of something.  Stone Jr. ducks under a Bloodstone roundhouse, delivers a sharp knee to Bloodstone's gut, and peels off a series of rolling suplexes.  Stone Jr. quickly moves to grab Bloodstone's legs for a Stone Hold and gets Bloodstone turned over.  Bloodstone  attempts to roll through but can't muster the strength to get Stone Jr. off balance.  He reaches desperately for the rope but it is just out of reach.  At the 33 minute mark, Bloodstone submits and the crowd goes nuts.</span></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="padding: 5px; text-align: center; font-size: 1.8em;"><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/notbpw2banner.jpg"></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="padding: 5px; display: block;"><div style="position: relative; z-index: 2;" align="center"><img style="margin-right: 25px; width: 150px; height: 150px;" src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/SeanMcFly.jpg" alt="Participant 1" height="150px" width="150px"><img style="margin-left: 25px; width: 150px; height: 150px;" src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/SteveDeColt.jpg" alt="Participant 2" height="150px" width="150px"><img style="position: absolute; right: 284px; top: -20px;" alt="Versus" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/content/public/versus/smvs_alt12.png" title="Versus"><div style="position: absolute; left: 423px; top: 148px;"><img alt="grade" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/content/public/grades/plain1/a_.png" title="grade" height="117px" width="211px"></div><div style="margin-top: 5px; height: auto;"><div style="font-size: 24px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div id=""><p style="text-align: center;"> </p><p style="text-align: center;"><br id=""><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"></span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><br id=""></span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><br id=""></span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><br id=""></span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Sean McFly vs. Steve DeColt ©</span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">NOTBPW World Heavyweight Title Match</span></strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"> </p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/NOTPBW_Wrld.jpg" alt=""><br id=""></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"><br id=""></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">One of the true challenges of working the main event at a North of the Border pay-per-view event is that you often find it difficult to lift the crowd any higher than they already are given the quality of the matches before yours. This is the very challenge that Heavyweight Champion Steve DeColt and challenger Sean McFly face after the absolute classic that Dan Stone Jr. and Johnny Bloodstone put on.  In contrast to the technical masterpiece they put on, DeColt and McFly put on a much more varied match; rooted mostly in brawling, but both men are more than capable technicians and are even willing occasionally to take on an aerial assault to gain an advantage.</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The defining moment of the match comes at the 35 minute mark.  McFly is rallying after having been beaten down for the past few minutes; he reverses DeColt's whip into the ropes and peels of a huge scoop slam on the rebound.  McFly is down for a few second, but then picking up a second wind, kips up and heads to the ropes again, bounces off, jumps over DeColt to the opposite side -- MOONSAULT OFF THE SECOND ROPE!  McFly hooks the leg--ONE, TWO, TH--KICK OUT!!</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">We've never seen McFly do this before -- Tommy London says that this is a new signature move for Sean, which he calls the McFly-N-Sault.</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">McFly picks DeColt up and delivers a series of chops, backing him into the ropes, takes a few steps back, then rushes DeColt to clothesline him over the ropes.  At the last second, DeColt drops and pulls the top rope down, and McFly goes careening over the top and crashes onto the floor and up the ramp a few feet.  DeColt hangs from the rope for a moment, staring at McFly, then rolls out of the ring.  He picks the still stunned McFly up, cinches in the side headlock -- DECOLT STAMPEDE ON THE FLOOR!</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"> </p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The move devastates McFly, but it takes a lot out of DeColt as well.  DeColt recovers first and rolls McFly into the ring with his remaining strength.  He goes straight for the cover -- ONE, TWO, THR--KICK OUT!!  DeColt slams his fists into the mat in frustration.  He picks McFly up by the hair, stands him up, and throws a punch--BLOCKED!  McFly counterpunches  and connects! McFly rears back to throw another haymaker--BLOCKED!  DeColt connects with a roundhouse of his own!  The two men trade blows again, then McFly kicks DeColt in the gut, doubling DeColt over.  McFly looks to lock in the Delorean Driver, but DeColt pushes McFly to the ropes, sidesteps McFly on the rebound, grabs his head and goes with his momentum -- DECOLT STAMPEDE!  ONE, TWO, THREE!!!</span></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="padding: 5px; text-align: center; font-size: 1.8em;"><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s59/Wallbanger1071/Gen11/notbpw2banner.jpg"></div></div></div></div><div style="padding: 0pt 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0pt; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div style="text-align: center;"><strong id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 24px;">Show Rating: A</span></strong></div></div> </div></div></div></div></div>

Banger's Commentary

Well, Big City Brawl is in the books, we now have a full month's buildup to the next PPV, and a madman is in charge. Just another day at the office!

I will be collaborating with 1PWFan on a JeriLynn Stone interview for TEW Magazine, which I'm quite excited about. I think it will be a lot of fun! If you haven't checked out BoomKing's TEW Magazine project yet, you owe it to yourself to do so - it's a great way to introduce yourself to a number of different diaries.

A couple of notes on the new GM.

Officially, his push is Authority Figure; in Gen10 canon he blew his knee out a few months back in Japan and as a result has scaled back his in-ring career to Occasional Wrestler, which lets him be happy with an Authority Figure push. If you've read Gen07 you may recall that Larry was the original owner of CWWF in that savegame, a fact that I've used to build the CWWF portion of the Gen10 story around.

Speaking of CWWF, they hold their monthly shows on Thursday, Week 2. Their January show is called Antigone Rising; here are the results from that show.

Last, but not least, thanks to those who have supported me so far in the DOTM Rookie voting for this month. For those undecided voters, please consider Big City Brawl as my bid for your support, and please go participate in the DOTM votes regardless of who you favor.
