My time modding has been split with the L-Verse comps so progress has been a little slower lately. I aim to have ESW done for a stream next weekend at the latest. I did have an idea for an entrant but thought the idea of keep coming up with a promo would be to much hassle. May just have to enter him in a future promotion contest. Here is the promotion's bio: Desire Pro Wrestling first opened its doors in the early stages of 1985 in an attempt to capitalise on the early decline of the JWA. Desire Pro Wrestling is the archetypal Japanese promotion that follows a touring schedule and showcases the purosu style of in-ring combat. As JWA further descended in the public's esteem, a new battle atop the Japanese promotional summit began as DPW went head to head with HLG to see who could call themselves the premier wrestling organisation in the continent. Although the two promotions cannot be said to be at war with each other, the competitive nature between DPW and HLG is plain for all to see. The competition window is now open. A solid wrestler, Ikano swept through the amateur scene before taking two years out to finish his studies and work for his father. After attending a Desire Pro training camp, Ikano decided to set his sights on becoming a professional in the sport he excelled at. His hard hitting style soon excited Japanese fans at local independent shows and shortly after his debut, Ikano was signed to a contract by Desire Pro. He has a penchant for kicks, and often obliterates his opponents with a combo of kicks to the chest before finishing them off with a big shot to the side of the head. Whilst his wrestling skills are technically sound, Ikano is also cripplingly shy and finds it hard to speak in public, something that might hinder his career in professional wrestling. Bio: Keiji started his career as a protege to one of the top Sumo wrestlers of the day. After years of training, an accident at a show caused him to become blacklisted form the sport. Thinking that he would never compete again, his mentor talked to the owner of Desire Pro Wrestling. After a few weeks Keiji was given a try out and impressed the owner with his power and feats of athleticism. Keiji has slowly become accustom to his new role as a pro wrestler. He has never had a problem connecting with the fans. He's working hard to switch styles and DPW gives him the opportunity to bring the hard hitting style of Sumo to promotion. Keiji is becoming feared for his strikes and has deceptive speed and agility for a man of his size. (Kind of a Yokuzuna from the WWE looking guy for his face. Less puffy though.) However, "The Eliminator" would take his incredible talent on a world tour and has appeared in highlight reals across the globe. This journeyman has recently taken a surprisingly long touring contract with Desire Pro Wrestling and has firmly cemented himself in the companies mid-card. His evil grin can scare the soul out of Satan. His red face paint that covers the whole face, except for the mouth and eyes, makes him all the more terrifying. He is bald. His eyes have a distinct red tintness. Has a muscular body. Ring Style: His menace would be fantastic. Sadly, however, most of his skills are crap. The only ones that would be good when compared with his menace is his brawling, intensity and puro skills, which puts him out of contention of the midcard. He also has a high stiffness rating. Finisher: Devon's Devouring (Military Press dropped into a knee lift (similar to the GTS)) Others: Steroid use would be set to 35% and reformed. He is a jerk backstage. Bio: Devon Jones is one scary man. Born in Wales, Devon moved to Japan at the age of 4. With an initial love of wrestling (beginning at the age of 9), he wanted to become one of wrestling's greatest man to ever step foot in this very ring. Debuting at the age of 18 as Devon the Mighty, it looked like he was going to become one of wrestling's greatest superstars. So it was only natural that Desire Pro Wrestling took him up in 2001. Sadly, however, allegations of steroids use, coupled with his stiffness, general lack of talent and rumors of Jones p*ssing off wrestlers saw him fired just half a year later. Very high stiffness. Bio: Kenji Nakajima is a 14 year veteran. He was raised on traditional Puroesu style wrestling and takes great pride in keeping wrestling as realistic as possible. His nickname 'Tiger' comes from his fearless and ferocious way of attacking his opponents with a multitude of strikes, using his fists, elbows, knees, feet, and even his head to inflict maximum punishment. As loyal as they come, Nakajima debuted with Desire Pro Wrestling and he has never wrestled a match outside of it's ring. (Eddie Guerrero without the high flying moves) Also, high potential. Bio: Lloyd Alofa was born on the Isle of Samoa and comes from a family of decent, if unspectacular, wrestlers. His Uncle, the great King Alofa wrestled all around the world without ever making it big. Lloyd Alofa has worked under many names, such as L.A. Click, The Good Luck Kid, and El Simplicio when he was in Mexico (under a mask) He first adopted the name Samoan Sly when he was working an independent show in the USA around 18 months ago and was called a 'Sly Samoan' by an opponent after a 'cheat to win' victory and it stuck. Bio: Yoshizuki Yishido for a longtime was a practitioner of Hapkido, gaining a 2nd degree black belt in this form of martial art. Then a chance meeting with the owner of DWP led him to enroll at their dojo. Having shown a proficiency for wrestling, he eventually graduated the dojo and started appearing on DWP tours. Combining the kicks, strikes, joint locks and throws of Hapkido with suplexes and lariats learnt in his time in the wrestling dojo, Yoshido is a very dangerous man to be standing across the ring from.
