Hyotaru Ichigawa seemed particularly pumped to be in Hiroshima, but it is his hometown after all, and it does no take a genius to guess he is proud of being from the Chugoku region, one of his moves is the Chugoku Spike after all....

It also seems he is immensely proud of the Okonomi-mura, a 'theme park' to Okonoyimaki. So you can guess what was for lunch, before the show. It's literally just floors and floors of Okonoyimaki restaurants, all claiming to be better than the other. We had to be careful that some members of the party did not get an urge to go on an Okonoyimaki crawl and end up being too bloated to perform for the show.

That however was never the problem, what was the problem was Talisman telling every Okonoyimaki chef in this 'pancake temple' that he could cook a better Okonoyimaki blind-folded with his one hand tied between his back, even though he had never cooked one before and besides as a contribution to Japanese cuisine, it ranks below Cup Noodle.

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Talisman.jpg > http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS2EDku3LHqOvml4aAZeIjTEUi_LL1QTfkkYLFnan9zjRYOLHYo4g> http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSwvi9m8FeknNSs5Ceb7beMvjwraOYEjB0VqLPAmZvLFT_5Ofc1

For a start what the hell is wrong with Okonoyimaki and according to some survey I read, the Cup Noodle was the most important Japanese invention of the 20th century. If Talisman's attitude during the lunch was irking me and quite a few others, it really rankled with Ichigawa-san.

Ichigawa-san was proud to show off a Hiroshima institution to us and give us a good lunch in the process, and this arrogant young punk, throws his hospitality right back in his face. I could see that Ichigawa-san was on the verge of sticking his into Talisman's face, and we're taking about a usually calm and collected man here. The way Talisman was carrying on he would have deserved it, but it wouldn't have been the wise thing for Ichigawa-san to do.

Thankfully Ichigawa-san held back, but something needed to be said to Talisman-san...because his attitude during the lunch stank. I don't mind the fact that Talisman is confident in his own abilities, in fact that's a good thing but the lack of respect is something we could all do without.

Prior to the show, I approached him about his attitude, and told him that if a fight did end up during lunch, it would be his fault and that thankfully some people understand about respect, and that he needed to understand that very concept too. I really tried to drum it home, that respect is earned by treating others with respect.....

' Well no one's on my level, really to earn respect from me......I'm not interested in being ordinary and going by your rules. So what if you're the man in charge, what you've got to remember is that I'm extraordinary and I only demand respect from those who are as extraordinary as me, and I could count that person on one finger....me!'

In one ear, out the other ! So this arrogant jerk-off, does not even think his mentor Zodiac-san deserves the same amount, respect he affords only to himself? Well I've got a newsflash for 'Mr Perfect' I am his boss and I'm going to drum some respect into him.....

Because we all need another Incognito clone, about as much as another episode of Naruto.

I think everyone should be able to work out the algebra for that one!

_____________________________________________________________

O.O.C Note: This was an incident just before the show- where Talisman had heat with the locker-room for his 'attitude'. As you call all probably guess, I tried to take a fatherly approach but just got it thrown back in my face with a 'whatever' response.

Show itself should once again be up for Saturday- just got the main event to write.

Full Metal Panic! Tour - Show 2

Match 1: HUSTLE Umiro vs Soh Terajima

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_HUSTLEUmiro.jpg vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_SohTerajima.jpg

This opening contest, began with Terajima jumping HUSTLE from behind and then trying to choke the self proclamed 'Ducker Diver' out with his own gold chain. HUSTLE managed to hold on, and then survive some subsequent pinfall attempts from the Kuro-Nadeshiko man.

Terajima desperate to put HUSTLE away then went for the Eastern Misery (Forward Russian Legsweep) but that was blocked and HUSTLE began to battle his way back the match....eventually becoming the one to be on the front foot, as Terajima's early momentum whittled away.

After a lariat brought a two count, 'Ducker Diver' then went for the Hustle To The Top (Diving Elbow Drop) only for Terajima to move out of the way. 'The Cloaked Assassin' then took down HUSTLE with the Cloak and Dagger (Flying Neckbreaker), but that could only bring a two count. Terajima then looked to finish things with Eastern Misery once again, but just like earlier in the match it was blocked and HUSTLE countered into the Out-Hustled (Backslide Pin)....Terajima unable to get this shoulders up before referee Ochida's hand slapped the mat for a third time.

Result: HUSTLE Umiro [w] bt Soh Terajima [L] in 10:26 via pinfall (Out-Hustled)

Rating: 50

Takayuki Balls: A solid opener, Terajima got to 'heel' it up for a bit, and came out looking reasonably strong in defeat, in the fact that he was caught out by the Out-Hustled, rather than being decisively beaten....not that HUSTLE is really below his level anway. Out of all the un-attached wrestlers....HUSTLE's the most pushable, because he has a modicum of charisma but just doesn't really fit in with any of the stables right now.

Post Match Comments:

HUSTLE Umiro: Da suits, keep puttin' da road blocks, in frontz of me....but I keep on squeezin' the toughest of the tough aside....I'm provin' I'm a winner...I'm Hustlin' ma way to the top, needz another a ring on ma fingerz....you gots me playas.

Hirasi tried his best to keep Incognito on the ground, but 'El Pesadilla Hermosa' was just too quick for 'Shiny Dagger' and after around six minutes of thrilling but relatively one sided action, the highlight of which saw Incognito take down Hirasi with a spinning head-scissors to the floor and then follow up with a no hands corkscrew plancha; Incognito was able to put this match to bed when he connected with the Bala De Dios (Flying Spinning Heel Kick) on Hirasi.

Resullt: Incognito [w] bt Shiki Hirasi [L] in 6:02 via pinfall (Bala De Dios)

Rating: 69

Takayuki Balls: There was only ever going to be one winner in this match....and unless I wanted to deal with a tantrum of seismic proportions....the egomaniac in the mask needed to go over. Admittedly though he is talented and Hirasi did a solid job of enhancing the fact that Incognito is for all of his faults as a human, an incredibly exciting wrestler to watch.

Despite being the biggest man in the match Kan Mitsubishi, was quickly singled out as the weak-link by The Forgotten, who used their superior tag team experience to stay ahead of their 'Guardians' opponens for much of this contest- as long as they could keep Talisman on the outside looking in and avoid Mitsubishi's equalizer the Power Punch- they would control the match.

That plan seemed to work for the most part, but Mitsubishi is if at the very least tough to keep down without a fight, and he did manage to get Talisman into the match. Talisman's superior speed and agility looked as though it would make a difference, and he almost grabbed the win with a God Know's (Spinning Headscissors- Crucifix Pin) on Hidaka.

Kasuse however was able to make the save, and a Forget Us Not (Running Bulldog into a Kneelift) almost brought victory The Forgotten's way....had it not been for an intervention from Mitsubishi.

'Fist Of Granite' then nailed Kasuse with his great equalizer the Power Punch (Right Hook Punch) but was then caught off guard with a Flying Cross Body from Hidaka......that he just couldn't seem to kick out off...giving The Forgotten the 'upset' win.

Result: Kohei Hidaka [w] & Hideaki Kasuse bt Talisman & Kan Mitsubishi [L] in 9:45 via pinfall (Flying Cross Body)

Rating: 69

Takayuki Balls: Not a bad contest, considering I'd only really rate one of the four in their to have an uppercard future- and yeah I know he comes out on the losing end. But at the end of the day, Talisman is somewhat in the doghouse, his ego needs pulling into line and despite not being all that high on 'The Forgotten' I'm probably higher on them, than a one-trick pony like Mitsubishi.

Post Match Comments:

Kohei Hidaka: No doubt this victory will get totally ignored and some thrown together team of so called 'stars' will get a shot at the belts before us.

Hideaki Kasuse: Will keep plugging away though and then hopefully one day will get what we deserve.

This match began with a compelling mix of brawling and mat wrestling, with both competitors not quite able to be the one to press home the advantage in the early going. Date, was the one who tried to picked up the pace but a missed spear, that saw him crash into the turnbuckle, saw Kotara be the one to take the early advantage with a Belly to Back Suplex for a two count.

Kotara then became even more methodical in his targetting of a body part, in this case Date's back.....that of course was to set up for the Bend Of Will (Bow and Arrow Hold) but 'Stampeding Bull' showed the fighting spirit of a champion and battled his way to the ropes to force the rope break......

Date then seized back control with a flurry of clotheslines, but wilted when he tried to go for the Rejection (Fisherman Brainbuster), allowing Kotara to block and then counter into the North Lights Suplex, accept Date was able to block Kotara and 'Rough Rider' ended up being on the end of a Brainbuster......

Date then continued to seize momentum with another clothesline flurry and then dumped Kotara a German Suplex Hold for a close two count. 'Stampeding Bull' then applied the Date With Pain (Elevated Boston Crab), forcing the tap out from Kotara.

Result: Hiro Date [w] bt Yachi Kotara [L] in 10:07 via submission (Date with Pain)

Rating: 72

Takayuki Balls: By all accounts this should have just been a run of the mill competitive squash- where the glorified jobber manages to get some offence in, but ultimately you know he has zero chance of winning- well that was pretty much the case here....but these two noticeably worked well together and that 'chemistry' lifted the match, like a bit of miso paste can lift a bowl of ramen.

______________________________________________________________

This heavyweight tag team contest, was a pretty one sided affair in favour of the dominating super heavy duo of the Udon Noodle Killers, with the youngster Hirouchi Inokuma finding himself on the end of a gruelling beatdown for much of the match. A mixture of bravery from the 'Learning Lion' and arrogance from the Kuro-Nadeshiko duo, allowed for Inokuma to rally and a missed Tsunami (Big Splash) allowed for Inokuma to finally get the 'hot' tag into Shimizudani.

S-Pulse came close to suddenly pulling a shock win out of nowhere, when he struck Ono with the Chin-Marker (Jumping Knee) but a timely intervention from GUSHIKEN save his partner from taking the fall, and that was as close as ShimiKuma would come to the win. Just a few minutes later Stereo Powerbombs from the UDK put their brave but over-matched opponents away.

Result: GUSHIKEN [w] & Chojiro Ono bt Aki Shimizudani [L] & Horiuchi Inokuma in 10:18 via pinfall (Stereo Powerbombs)

Rating: 63

Takayuki Balls: For what amounted to an extended squash, that match went on way too long. I suppose I didn't want to bury a team that had just fought for the title's too much, by not having them lose too easily. But really who the hell care's, they only got that title shot because there's virtually sod all regular teams in the All Asia Tag division anyway.

Post Match Comments:

GUSHIKEN: Wrecking Crew, it really bugs me you're still using that name- the Tokyo Wrecking Crew was my baby and I killed it when I saw it to be obsolete...now I alongside Ono-san will make you obsolete.... for good!!

Chojiro Ino: Get ready to feel the force of the U N K !! We're the REAL wrecking crew!

Match 6: Hiroto Nori vs Tian Long

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_HirotoNori.jpg vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TianLong.jpg

S.H.I.P leader Nori, set the pace at the start with a combination of fast paced chain wrestling and pin point kicking putting the veteran Long on the backfoot. Being the wiley veteran that he is though, Long disrupted Nori's rhythm by going out for 'powders'. Nori keen to keep the pressure on went for a suicide dive, but ended up crashing and burning- allowing for Long to take advantage with a scoop powerslam out on the floor.

Nori beat the twenty count, but 'Imperial' was fully in control. A rolling cutter and a Dragon Suplex from Long, brought close two counts. Before the Kuro-Nadeshiko veteran placed Nori in the Dynasty Lock (Inverted STF). Ring positioning was on Nori's side however and he forced the rope-break but despite an attempt to rally back with more strikes and kicks, Long remained in control and eye-poke, followed by a Brainbuster brought another two count, before 'Imperial' headed up top. One female fan in the front row was particularly concerned about how the match was going and was practically screaming for Nori to get up.

But before Long could take flight with the Corkscrew From Heaven (Corkscrew Senton), Nori found a burst of energy and stunned Long with a leaping kick. 'Battle' then brough Long in the hard-way with a superplex, before catching 'Imperial' with a Nigiri Serving (Leaping Reverse STO).....

Long just about kicked out at two, but then found himself on a peppering of kicks from the S.H.I.P leader, finishing the Endless Nori sequence with a high kick to the head.....the pinfall after that was academic, as Nori claimed a hard fought but decisive victory that strengthen's his claims towards a Super Junior Title shot.

Result: Hiroto Nori [w] bt Tian Long [L] in 13:44 via pinfall (Endless Nori)

Rating: 72

Takayuki Balls: Solid match, but I felt these two were capable of pulling out better, just got the feeling they were holding back a little- because this wasn't a main event or on a PPV card. Yes I am well aware that the boss want's me to push Tian Long- but here's the thing Nori's a stable leader, is more over than Long and quite honestly needs this win more. Beside I'd worry less about Dragon-san being disappointed because Long hasn't been put on a massive unstoppable win streak, than the possible ear-ache I would receive from Nori's girlfriend.

Post Match Comments:

Hiroto Nori: If I have to battle my way past a few 'road blocks' to get a shot at the Super Junior title, so be it...I proved tonight I have it takes to become champion and if I have to prove it again, I will do just that.

Tian Long: Luck was on the side of Nori-san this time, but the gods tell me that his luck will soon run out, and that any hopes he has will be silenced!

Match 7: Non Title:

Hyotaru Ichigawa vs Oda Yamawaki

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_HyotaruIchigawa.jpg vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_OdaYamawaki.jpg

A match-up between two title holders in DIASPORA and one that started out in a fairly cagey fashion, with much of the starting action taking place on the mat. Whilst on paper that would seem to favour Ichigawa, who looked to set up for the Cross Arm Breaker- Yamawaki was more than keeping up and it was infact the All Asian Tag champ, that placed Ichigawa in the first real predicament by getting 'White Light' in a Figure Four.

Ichigawa did battle his way to the ropes and then bailed to the floor to try and re-group. Yamawaki was keen to keep the pressure on though, and showed why he is called 'Fearless' with a diving shoulder tackle off the top-turnbuckle to the floor- sending Ichigawa crashing against the guard-rail.

Yamawaki pitched Ichigawa back into the ring and got a two count with a release German Suplex- before deciding to head-up top- that proved to be something of a young lion's mistake though as Ichigawa rose back to his feet and then cut Yamawaki off, before bringing the All Asia Tag champ in the hard-way with a superplex.

Ichigawa then completed the momentum shift with Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick) for a two count, and then followed up with a Dragon Suplex for an even closer two. Determined to put Yamawaki away, the Heavyweight Champion applied the Crucifix Arm Bar but Yamawaki showed great fighting spirit by battling his way to the ropes to force a rope-break.

Yamawaki then nailed Ichigawa with a series of clothesline's before clutching at this arm, giving Ichigawa opportunity to re-group. But 'Fearless' kept the pressure on, nailing Ichigawa with a drop-kick before dumping White Light with the Sumida Bridge (Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex) for a close two count. Yamawako then tried for the Tokyo Tower (Vertical Suplex Side Slam) but his arm seemed to give way- as he tried to lift Ichigawa up.....the Heavyweight champion, then took immediate advantage of the hesitation instantly countering into a Chugoku Spike (Cradle Piledriver) which proved to be effective enough to keep Yamawaki down for three; the All Asia Tag champ putting up a brave effort against his more experienced opponent but an effort that came up just short.

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa [w] bt Oda Yamawaki [L] in 13:27 via pinfall (Chugoku Spike)

Rating: 78

Takayuki Balls: Good match here- these two matched up as well, as I though they might and once again I saw enough here to think that eventually Yamawaki will climb to becoming a genuine contender for the Heavyweight Title.

Post Match Comments:

Hyotaru Ichigawa: Yamawaki-san gave it all he got out there tonight and already he is someone I or anyone else should not take lightly. He clearly has all the making of a future champion, but his day's are tomorrow...my day's are now....I am the Heavyweight Champion and I have no intention of giving up that crown to anyone.

Oda Yamawaki: I proved tonight that I can compete with the very best here in DIASPORA, but competing is simply not enough...I want to be show that I can be better than the best and I promise that day will come.

Six man action here in the main event , with strong line-ups from the Guardians and S.H.I.P battling it out for bragging rights...well for this show at least.

It has to be said that the first third of the match, is just both sides going through the 'motions' in typical slow build main event style- there's some nice exhanges of chain wrestling from the Juniors but neither side really looks like pressing home an advantage. That is until the superior teamwork of the Junior Tag champs Yamato and Hideki, starts to take control and the Super Junior Champion Prime Dragon found himself isolated on the wrong side of the ring.

Prime Dragon however is made of resillient stuff and battled his way out of a Gurren Driver (Scoop Slam Piledriver) attempt from Yamato and counter with a Brainbuster. Arato however prevented Dragon from making the tag and pulled 'The Grand Pillar' back to set up for a release German suplex....the Junior champ however landed on his feet and then nailed Arato with a drop-kick before getting the tag into a fired up Eikichi Minamoto.

'Rumble Heart' cleaned house with a series of clothesline and back body-drops, before hauling Hideki upon his shoulders, subjecting the Junior Tag champ to the Gurugu Mawaru (Airplane spin into a Samoan Drop) to the delight of the crowd. Minamoto who was dizzy himself then staggered onto Hideki to make the cover but Yamato was able to make the save.

The match then seemed to 'break down' a little after that, culminating in Zodiac wiping out everyone, be it team mate or opponent with a corkscrew Arabian Press. When the dust settled, Zodiac pitched Yamato back into the ring and planted the Junior Tag champion with a Zodiac Sniper (Sunset Flip Powerbomb) for a two count, before deciding to head up top, but 'Innovation's God' was cut off by Arato who brought Zodiac crashing back in with a press slam.

Arato then planted Zodiac with a scoop powerslam, whilst Hideki now headed up to the top....Prime Dragon and Minamoto tried to come to Zodiac's rescue but were cut off by Arato and recovered Yamato- before Hideki nailed a missile drop-kick on both Dragon and Minamoto, and then landed a senton on Zodiac who remained rooted to the mat.

That brought a two count, before the S.H.I.P trio nailed Zodiac with a modified version of 'New Solution's' Keiyakusha- Arato delivering a German suplex on Zodiac whilst both of the Junior Tag champs hit stereo superkick's.....

One.....

Two....

Thr......

Both Minamoto and Dragon were there to make the save though- and a miscommunication with a lariat from Arato- that ended up nailing Yamato instead for Minamoto- gave the Guardians the opening they needed. Minamoto stunned Arato with a jawbreaker, and then Prime Dragon drilled Hideki with the Prime Driver (Over the Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver).....

One....

Two....

Hideki showed great fighting spirit by kicking out, but was soon placed in the Dragon's Bite (Inverted Facelock Sleeper), but just as it looked like he might have to give up the fight...a recovered Yamato was able to make the save with a stiff kick to the back.

Yamato then managed to reel Dragon into the Clutched Knee Strike Flurry he calls the End Game, as Arato held Minamoto back from making the save. Yamato then went for the cover- when he felt Dragon had no more to give.....

One......

Two.....

Thr.........

Zodiac re-announced his arrival back into the match in spectacular fashion with Another Universe (Springboard 450 Splash) breaking the pin attempt from Yamato.

Yamato then staggered back to his feet and was then taken down with a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors and placed straight into the 'Flame Haze' crucifix Arm Bar.....

It looked to be all over for 'Pin Point' but Arato was able to make the save and after a series of clubbing blows to Zodiac, dumped 'Innovations God' with an Arato Suplex (Half Nelson Choke Suplex)......

Minamoto broke into make the save, and then drilled 'Strong Dreamer' with a Harima DDT (Double Arm DDT)......

Prime Dragon made the last ditch save and then drilled Hideki with the Prime Driver 2000 (Wrist Clutch Belly to Back Piledriver)......

Desperation save was made by Yamato, but he was soon cut off by Zodiac, who drop-kicked Hideki's tag partner out of the ring and followed up with a tope con hilo.

And with Hideki still rooted to the mat...Prime Dragon went for the Dragonsault (Springboard Moonsault)......

One.......

Two......

Three!

The Guardians had this time come out on top in a thrilling six man main event that could have gone either way.

Result: Prime Dragon [w], Zodiac & Eikichi Minamoto bt Koto Arato, Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki [L] in 20:07 via pinfall (Dragonsault)

Rating: 80

Takayuki Balls: Very enjoyable six man main event. Formula stuff with the slowish start, before building to a crescendo of rapid fire near-falls at the end- but it's a tried and tested formula that works- so why mess with it.

Post match The Guardians are celebrating, when they jumped by the Kuro-Nadeshiko trio of Sairento, Incognito and Soh Terajima. However just as it looks like Kuro are about to deliver another vicious beat-down on the crowd favourites, with Sairento about to subject Prime Dragon to another Black Box assisted Kuro-stomp....the S.H.I.P trio of Arato, Hideki and Yamato make the save!

However the Guardians look a bit aggrieved by the fact that, S.H.I.P trio made the save and though there was no microphones, words were exchanged, with the Guardians clearly wanting to make the point that they are 'strong' enough to fight their own battles.

Rating: 73

Post Match Comments:

Prime Dragon: The Guardians will continue to prove we are the strongest here in DIASPORA and the true standard bearers. It does not have to be said that we can fight and win our own battles.

Zodiac: That is correct, we certainly do not need the help of a team we had just defeated. That's not to sound ungrateful, but the S.H.I.P members made their choice when they decided to form their own group- this is a three way battle and though we do despise S.H.I.P, like we do Kuro...we are not their ally's either....they made that bed, they should lie comfortably within it.

Koto Arato: Disappointing to lose but on this occassion we were just edged out on another day....

Kotei Yamato: That's right, on any other day we could have emerged with the win. However it's not the loss that bothers me.....what exactly is the Guardian's problem with us saving them from being beaten by Kuro's cruel hands. Yes S.H.I.P want to be the best, but we want to do things the right way...perhaps Guardian's are too arrogant to realise this.

______________________________________________________________

Overall: 78

Takyuki's Final Verdict: How's that for consistency, according to some website called TEW.com this show rated around the same as the last. Apparently this website is like the oracle or something to that effect on how good our matches and shows were, and I guess this is what is used to guage how we are doing. To be honest it looks eerily similar to my EPW games- wouldn't be surprised if this site has just plagarised my genius!

This shall be remembered as the Okonoyimaki incident and no doubt will lead to Talisman jobbing for the foreseeable future. It's also a good thing Japan's foremost Okinomiyaki chef was not present.

Because we all need another Incognito clone, about as much as another episode of Naruto.

Thursday 5th January 2012

Hiroshima Sports Park, Chugoku (1'532)

Welcome to Hiroshima, where I shall refrain from any 'It's da bomb' jokes! I'm Miko Kubota and this is Cherry Road Engarde!

Result: HUSTLE Umiro [w] bt Soh Terajima [L] in 10:26 via pinfall (Out-Hustled)

Decent match, confirming that Hustle has potential but still has a long way to go.

Result: Incognito [w] bt Shiki Hirasi [L] in 6:02 via pinfall (Bala De Dios)

Curb stomp.

Result: Kohei Hidaka [w] & Hideaki Kasuse bt Talisman & Kan Mitsubishi [L] in 9:45 via pinfall (Flying Cross Body)

By the write up, pretty one sided with Mitsubishi stomped repeatedly and Talisman getting enough moves in to remind people he's a talent. But his team still does the job and his ego takes the hit. Which messes up almost everyone’s chance of picking every match right in the predictions.

Kohei Hidaka: No doubt this victory will get totally ignored and some thrown together team of so called 'stars' will get a shot at the belts before us.

Bitter much? Who did you beat again?

Result: Hiro Date [w] bt Yachi Kotara [L] in 10:07 via submission (Date with Pain)

Just a one off singles match since Date is more a tag wrestler. Surprisingly good match and surprisingly well contested, I expected it to be more of a squash.

Result: GUSHIKEN [w] & Chojiro Ono bt Aki Shimizudani [L] & Horiuchi Inokuma in 10:18 via pinfall (Stereo Powerbombs)

The limited number of face types in the images is very noticeable here. More of a squash but that's no surprise. The top guns are all later in the card. These last few are momentum building matches.

Chojiro Ino: Get ready to feel the force of the U N K !!

Ultimate Udon Noodle Noose Attack!

Result: Hiroto Nori [w] bt Tian Long [L] in 13:44 via pinfall (Endless Nori)

Now the card is picking up. And booking wise we're getting an idea of Takayuki's limits on how much he'll protect Tian.

One female fan in the front row was particularly concerned about how the match was going and was practically screaming for Nori to get up.

Hello to Nori's Girlfriend!

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa [w] bt Oda Yamawaki [L] in 13:27 via pinfall (Chugoku Spike)

Best match so far and a very reasonable result. Ichigawa is the singles champion and Yamawaki is the tag champ. But the quality of the match gies hope that down the road Yamawaki could rise in singles competition.

Result: Prime Dragon [w], Zodiac & Eikichi Minamoto bt Koto Arato, Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki [L] in 20:07 via pinfall (Dragonsault)

Clearly the main event in star power as well as quality. And easily the biggest write up, even if most of the space was spent on near three counts. Plenty of traditional spots.

Post match The Guardians are celebrating, when they jumped by the Kuro-Nadeshiko trio of Sairento, Incognito and Soh Terajima.

Ok, who let Soh Terajima anywhere near a main event? I wouldn't even sell him a ticket to sit at ringside.

perhaps Guardian's are too arrogant to realise this.

And now the stable wars are heating up. Kuro as the sadistic heels. Soh Terajima as the 'just happy to be here' guy. And the tension between Guardians and SHIP keeping that relationship from getting too cozy.

Out of the three additions to boost our heavyweight division, Ebisawa-san is the one most likely to make an immediatre impact and I for one do not forsee him remaining too long upon the lower rungs of the DIASPORA ladder. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> Yes none of these additions are going to make a great impact now, but that was never really the point of them, the point was to help add a little more depth to the roster and help keep match-up's fresh, and besides in my own personal opinion these have the potential to be future keepers in place of some of the 'deadwood' that is already established on the roster. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> _______________________________________________________________</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span> </p><p> Check out their stats/move-sets by clicking on the link below: </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Tigerkinney" data-cite="Tigerkinney" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="33447" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#8B0000;"><snip></span></span></strong></div></blockquote>

<p><span>http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/DIASPORA_Banner-1.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> DIASPORA's Full Metal Panic! Tour continues as it heads to the Kyoto Concert Hall on Tuesday 10th January. </p><p> </p><p> There will be championship action in the main event as New Solution (Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki) put the belts on the line against the team they defeated for the titles back in July of last year, the Kuro-Nadeshiko duo of IMPERIOUS (Tian Long & Incognito). The former champs will already feel aggrieved that it has taken this long to get their re-match and will be desperate to prove they are still the best Junior Tag team in DIASPORA. </p><p> </p><p> Kuro-Nadeshiko and S.H.I.P will also do battle in another main event quality showdown in a star powered openweight tag, with Sairento teaming with GUSHIKEN to take on Hiroto Nori and Koto Arato. These four are considered the leading members of their respective factions and will be keen to show their strength to not only their rivals but the troops they lead into battle. </p><p> </p><p> There is more Junior Tag Team action as 'The Forgotten's' (Hideaki Kasuse & Kohei Hidaka) regular bemoanment of a lack of opportunity to fight in big matches, has earned them the rather tough test of taken on two of the top members of 'The Guardians' current Super Junior champion and Prime Dragon and the very first SJ champ in Zodiac. Can The Forgotten pull off an eye opening upset?</p><p> </p><p> There will be two matches featuring DIASPORA debutants, with Taheji Ebisawa facing a daunting debut against one half of the UNK- Chojiro Ono, and two other debutants Go Takashi & Hunter Wolfe will team together as they take on the Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yamawaki) in non title action. </p><p> </p><p> Rounding out the show will be a heavyweight six man between The Guardians trio of Hyotaru Ichigawa, Eikichi Minamoto & Kan Mitsubishi against the unaffiliated trio of Yachi Kotara and 'ShimiKuma', and there will be a Junior Division 3 way with HUSTLE Umiro, Talisman and Xtinction. </p><p> </p><p> <em>Here is a run-down of the full card for Show 3 of the the Full Metal Panic! <p>Junior Tag Championship: <strong>New Solution (Yamato & Hideki)</strong> vs IMPERIOUS (Long & Incognito)</p><p>

<em>This is rather tricky one to predict thanks to owner goal and Incognito´s ego but I´d say that New Solution will succesfully defend their titles this time as this isn´t PPV + they are still rather new as champs.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sairento & GUSHIKEN</strong> vs Hiroto Nori & Koto Arato</p><p>

<em>Tough one but I feel that Kuro-Nadeshiko pair is slighly ahead.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chojiro Ino </strong>vs Taheji Ebisawa</p><p>

<em>You said that Ebisawa is the one who would likely make the biggest impact on the new signings right away but I still doubt he can go over Ino without any build-up.</em></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Prime Dragon & Zodiac</strong> vs The Forgotten (Kasuse & Hidaka)</p><p>

<em>Forgotten might had got a little bit of surprise win last show but Dragon & Zodiac are just too much for them.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ichigawa, Minamoto & Mitsubishi</strong> vs Kotara, Shimizudani & Inokuma</p><p>

<em>I would probably go with Ichigawa even if this would have been just him against all three opponents so... yeah not hard to pick winners here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Non Title: <strong>Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Date & Yamawaki)</strong> vs Go Takaskhi & Hunter Wolfe</p><p>

<em>Tag champs won´t lose to random pairing of new guys even in non-title match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>HUSTLE Umiro</strong> vs Talisman vs Xtinction</p><p>

<em>If this match would have been before last show I would have picked Talisman but right now he´s on your bad books and HUSTLE has been getting wins and I wouldn´t be suprised if he gets a Junior title shot at some point just to put someone else than one of the four owners in the title picture (not that he has any change of winning but even getting a title shot would be step in right direction in my book).</em></p>

<em>While I do love Long's mask, I can't see the champs losing...yet. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sairento & GUSHIKEN</strong> vs Hiroto Nori & Koto Arato </p><p>

<em>GUSHIKEN scares me. Sairento's mask doesn't help.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Chojiro Ino vs <strong>Taheji Ebisawa</strong></p><p>

<em>I think Taheji is just the DAGGER needed to beat UPJ...a..and Ino. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Prime Dragon & Zodiac</strong> vs The Forgotten (Kasuse & Hidaka) </p><p>

<em>Dragon and Zodiac are just too much.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ichigawa, Minamoto & Mitsubishi</strong> vs Kotara, Shimizudani & Inokuma </p><p>

<em>While I do like Inokuma, that's team is not enough for a win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Non Title: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Date & Yamawaki) vs <strong>Go Takaskhi & Hunter Wolfe</strong></p><p>

<em>I have my reasons.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>Junior Tag Championship: <strong>New Solution (Yamato & Hideki)</strong> vs IMPERIOUS (Long & Incognito)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I think TK is enjoying putting Long in matches that are hard to guess, made doubly hard by owner requirements. And IMPERIOUS are the former champs. But New Solution are the future. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sairento & GUSHIKEN</strong> vs Hiroto Nori & Koto Arato</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Arato does the job. GUSHIKEN is not what he was either though, so it could go either way.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Chojiro Ino vs <strong>Taheji Ebisawa</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Chojiro Ono? Ebi the Giant Shrimp makes an instant impact on Ono's face.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Prime Dragon & Zodiac</strong> vs The Forgotten (Kasuse & Hidaka)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The DIASPORA icons win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ichigawa, Minamoto & Mitsubishi</strong> vs Kotara, Shimizudani & Inokuma</p><p> </p><p>

<em>When the champ is in a title match my first thought is to wonder if anyone on the other team may be ready for a title shot. In this case I have to say no. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Non Title:<strong> Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Date & Yamawaki) </strong>vs Go Takaskhi & Hunter Wolfe</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Talk about being thrown in the deep end. I wonder if Hunter Wolfe has much pop in Japan.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<strong>HUSTLE Umiro </strong>vs Talisman vs Xtinction</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Xtinction is erratic, Talisman's talent doesn't match his ego. Hustle FTW.</em></p>

<p>I just want to say you've done a really great job with this diary so far. It's convinced me to download the mod and give it a try.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Predictions:</p><p> </p><p>

Junior Tag Championship: New Solution (Yamato & Hideki) vs <strong>IMPERIOUS (Long & Incognito)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is a really tough call. The New Solution are the champions, but IMPERIOUS are the more established heels. Adding to the confusion is Tian Long's required push and Incognito's ego problems. I'm going to go with our first title change here. SHIP has both divisions tag titles while KURO doesn't have any titles at all, so I'll take the heels to bring home the gold with some underhanded tactics.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sairento & GUSHIKEN</strong> vs Hiroto Nori & Koto Arato</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Another close one, but I'll take the top heel faction over the number two face faction.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Chojiro Ino vs <strong>Taheji Ebisawa</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Not sure on this one, but as the most promising of the newcomers I'll pick him for an upset victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Prime Dragon & Zodiac</strong> vs The Forgotten (Kasuse & Hidaka)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>If the forgotten were up and comers then I could see a possible upset, but they're veteran midcarders who are less talented and less popular. Prime Dragon & Zodiac take the easy win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ichigawa, Minamoto & Mitsubishi </strong>vs Kotara, Shimizudani & Inokuma</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Guardians vs Unaffiliated is a pretty easy call. Especially with the Heavyweight champion on their team.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Non Title: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Date & Yamawaki) </strong>vs Go Takaskhi & Hunter Wolfe</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This one is tough because the heavyweight tag division is weak and you need to establish contenders, but even in a non-title match I don't see the champs losing to the newcomers. I'll take the champs winning, but the newcomers looking strong in defeat.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>HUSTLE Umiro</strong> vs Talisman vs Xtinction</p><p> </p><p>

<em>How can I root against HUSTLE.</em></p>

The basic theme of this opening three way, was Talisman and HUSTLE joining forces to beat-down on the Xtinction, both perceiving the ultimate mystery man to be a weak link they could focus on trying to 'eliminate'. Predictably though that union broke down when both Talisman and HUSTLE went for a pin on Xtinction, and they had the epiphany that this was a one fall match.</p><p> </p><p>

Following a hatful of flash pin attempts and last ditch saves, the match kicked up a gear when HUSTLE planted Talisman with the <strong>Hustle Brother</strong> (Legsweep DDT) only to be stunned with a leaping kick from Xtinction, who then followed up with the<strong> X.L.E</strong> (Tilt-A-Whirl DDT).....</p><p> </p><p>

HUSTLE managed to kick out of that at two and Xtinction decided to head up top, but lost his footing on the top turbuckle and was brought crashing back in with a hurricanrana from Talisman. That threw Xtinction right into the path of HUSTLE who dumped 'Everbody's Shadow' with a German Suplex, but Talisman would have the final word, taking down HUSTLE with the <strong>God Know's</strong> (Spinning Headscissors Crucifix Pin) to pick up the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#A0522D;">Result: Talisman [w] bt HUSTLE Umiro [L] + Xtinction in 11:24 via pinfall (God Know's)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"><strong>Takayuki Balls:</strong></span><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> Don't take this as being Talisman being completely out of the doghouse already, but I'm not one to hold bitter grudges to the detriment of the bigger picture. Talisman is a future star, and even HUSTLE isn't really at the level to warrant going over here. I'm just hoping he got the message with the defeat on the last show, if however he continues to show a rotten attitude- then a more prolonged period of jobbing will ensure- lets say he's on a sort of probation. Talisman's issues aside, this was pretty darn good for an opening contest, even with Xtinction being his usual botch artist self.....the leaping kick barely brushed HUSTLE and the finish was actually supposed to see Xtinction crash and burn on a moonsault attempt, and then HUSTLE get taken down by Talisman with the God Know's. </span></p><p> </p><p>

The newcomers showed plenty of fight, with Takashi and Wolfe kicking out of several pin attempts from the All Asia Tag champs, the most impressive being Takashi's kicked out at two and half on a <strong>Rejection </strong>(Fisherman Brainbuster) from Hiro Date, but apart from the odd flurry of fore-arms and such like neither of the newcomers were able to muster up much offence and it was only a matter of time before the Wrecking Crew would secure the win.</p><p> </p><p>

That moment came just shy of the ten minute mark, when Hunter Wolfe finally succumed to Yamawaki's <strong>Sumida Bridge</strong> (Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex).</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"><strong>Takayuki Balls:</strong></span><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> I appreciate they were going for the whole the newcomers getting their asses handed to them, but showing alot of fighting spirit vibe here, but this ended up being kind of a boring match...it either needed to be trimmed a few minutes stronger or the newcomers at least needed to get in a little more offence or perhaps a flash pin here or there. </span></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:left;"><p>The Guardians trio started stronger, and it looked as though this could be a quick match, especially after Minamoto planted Kotara with the crowd popping <strong>Gurugu Mawaru</strong> (Airplane Spin Samoan Drop), but the unaffiliated trio survived the early onslaught and eventually turned things round by isolating the Guardians 'weak link' Mitsubishi.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

However Mitsubishu, is at least one thing and that's a 'fighter' and he managed to survive everything the unaffiliated trio could throw at him, resulting in him kicking out of a <strong>Kamikochi Suplex</strong> (Northern Lights Suplex) from Inokuma, before nailing 'Learning Lion' with his equalizer the <strong>Power Punch</strong> (Right Hook Punch).</p><p> </p><p>

That created the opportunity for Mitsubishi to get the vital tag to Ichigawa. The momentum was with the Guardians all the way after that and it was the Heavyweight champ who secured the win after nailing Shimizudani with the<strong> Decapitator</strong> Bicycle Kick.</p><p> </p><p>

'The Forgotten' were aggressive from the start, jumping their more illustrious opponents before the bell had even rung, and though the Guardians pair tried to rally back, 'The Forgotten' managed to take control early on, isolating Zodiac in their corner.</p><p> </p><p>

The seemingly perma-frustrated duo, methodically worked over 'Innovation's God' in their corner and got two counts off an <strong>All About Yen</strong> (Diving Legdrop) from Kasuse and a double team flapjack. However Zodiac's resilience began to wear on 'The Forgotten' and that lead to the pair making mistakes, with Hidaka accidently taking down Kasuse with a Flying Cross Body.</p><p> </p><p>

That gave Zodiac the opening he needed, as he managed to take both of The Forgotten with a Tornado DDT on Kasuse followed by a spinning headscissors on Hidaka...giving him the opportunity to finally get the highly anticipated tag into Prime Dragon.</p><p> </p><p>

The Super Junior Champion cleaned house and got a close two count with a Prime Driver on Hidaka, only a desperate last ditch save from Kasuse being the difference between a two and a three count. A spinning headscissors from Zodiac then took Kasuse out to the floor....Hidaka had meanwhile rolled out of the ring for a breather, but then both of The Forgotten were wiped out with stereo moonsaults to the floor by the Guardians star men.</p><p> </p><p>

Prime Dragon then pitched Hidaka back into the ring, where Zodiac awaited to take him down with the <strong>Zodiac Sniper '98</strong> (Leg Hook Sunset Flip Powerbomb).....That only got two as Kasuse made a desperate save, before being interceped by Prime Dragon and then neutralised with a Gamengiri/Brainbuster combo. Hidaka meanwhile remained in trouble and moments later Zodiac forced 'Red Dog' to tap out with the <strong>Twelve Signs</strong> (Cross Face/Cloverleaf combo hold). </p><p> </p><p>

The debutant Ebisawa had more than his hands full with his first opponent, in the form of the biggest man (physically that is) on the DIASPORA roster in the form of Chojiro Ono. 'Epic Tsunami' used his sheer bulk to dominate the match in the early going, as Ebisawa tried to go toe to toe with the big man.</p><p> </p><p>

Ono however became overconfident that he could put the debutant away early and he missed with his<strong> Tsunami</strong> Big Splash. Ebisawa then began to build up some momentum as Ono began to run out of 'gas' with a series of charging fore-arms from 'Forceful Dagger' bringing the big man down, before nailing Ono with a basement drop-kick for a two count.</p><p> </p><p>

Ebisawa then waited for Ono to rise back to his feet, before nailing 'Epic Tsunami' with the <strong>Dozer</strong> (Spear). It looked as though the debutant would pull off an 'upset' debut win, only for referee Ochida to be distracted by a Black Box Wielding Soh Terajima. </p><p> </p><p>

Ebisawa then punched the Black Box into the face of the interfering Terajima, only to then turn back round into a clothesline from Ono, a Powerbomb and the <strong>Tsunami </strong>Big Splash then followed, as 'Epic Tsunami' secured a win, in match he looked to be losing...had it not been for Kuro's usual shenanigans. </p><p> </p><p>

The Kuro pair of Sairento & GUSHIKEN got an early jump on their opponents in this match, attacking the S.H.I.P pair from behind during their entrance. The chaotic start certainly seemed to favour Kuro, and they were soon able to isolate Hiroto Nori. Nori had to suffer a vicious face-wash from Sairento and a corner body splash from GUSHIKEN, but showed strong fighting spirit by bravely kicking out of the vicious punishment being dealt to him, as Arato looked on in frustration.</p><p> </p><p>

It was perhaps because Kuro had been so dominant from the start of the match, that they became somewhat complacement and Nori was able to free himself out of <strong>GUSHIKEN Firebomb</strong> attempt and stun the big man with a gamengiri, and then follow up with the <strong>Endless Nori</strong> kick flurry- but the flurry wasn't delivered with much striking power by the worn out Nori and 'Great Thunder' was able to shake it off.......</p><p> </p><p>

GUSHIKEN then came charging at Nori, but the S.H.I.P leader was able to duck as <strong>GUSHIKEN Smash</strong> and then nail 'Great Thunder' with an apron Enziguri and then a missile drop-kick...before collapsing in the middle of the ring out of sheer exhaustion. It then became a race to see who could tag out first, unfortunately for the well battered Nori, GUSHIKEN managed to get the tag to Sairento....but 'Battle' managed to shake off Sairento's attempts to drag him back to the 'wrong part of town' and finally got the long awaited tag into Arato.</p><p> </p><p>

With the crowd behind him, Arato cleaned house.....taking down Sairento with a flurry of clotheslines and then knocking GUSHIKEN off the apron with shoulder barge. Sairento briefly regained an advantage with a kick into Arato's mid-section, but 'Strong Dreamer' was able to shake off a DDT attempt from the Kuro leader and planted Sairento with a Side Slam.....before planting 'Silent Reaper' with the <strong>Arato Suplex</strong> (Half Nelson Suplex)....</p><p> </p><p>

That looked to be good enough for the win, but GUSHIKEN was able to make the last ditch save. Moments later, Arato then got blasted with a <strong>GUSHIKEN Smash</strong> (Charging Elbow Smash) but kicked out at two, before being drilled with the <strong>GUSHIKEN Driver</strong> (Samoan Driver).......</p><p> </p><p>

This time Nori made the save, but the S.H.I.P leader was quickly clotheslined out of the ring by GUSHIKEN, who then stood guard as Sairento took over.....the Kuro leader viciously nailing Arato with the <strong>Kuro-Stomp </strong>(Surfboard Curb Stomp) before applying the <strong>Silence</strong> (Pentagram Choke) submission.....</p><p> </p><p>

Fortunately for Arato ring positioning was in his favour and he somehow managed to have enough of his wits left, to barely reach a foot onto the bottom rope. Arato remained in trouble however and after being levelled with a clothesline from GUSHIKEN was then nailed with the <strong>Absolute Terror</strong> (Front Knee Strike to the Face) from Sairento......</p><p> </p><p>

That should have been the match over, but Nori had somehow dragged himself back into the ring to make a last ditch save.....and then got a bit of luck as GUSHIKEN nailed Sairento with an errant <strong>GUSHIKEN Smash</strong>. Nori with a sudden second wind of energy....then peppered GUSHIKEN with an <strong>Endless Nori</strong> kick flurry, and one that had alot more conviction than earlier...... </p><p> </p><p>

'Great Thunder' crumbled to his knees and Nori went for the cover....it only got a two count, but the S.H.I.P leader saw an opportunity to go up top....but unfortunately for 'Battle' Sairento had recovered and he prevented Nori from taking flight- that allowed GUSHIKEN to recover and send Nori crashing back into the ring with a <strong>GUSHIKEN FIREBOMB 02</strong> (Elevated Powerbomb)....Arato was able to make one more last ditch save, but that is all 'Strong Dreamer' had left in him, and Nori's fate in the middle of the ring was sealed with a <strong>Death Note</strong> (Spike Brainbuster) from Sairento.</p><p> </p><p>

S.H.I.P fought bravely, but this was always a battle they had try to win from being on the backfoot right from the very start and in the end they were unable to turn the momentum around, despite their bravest efforts. </p><p> </p><p>

From a technical standpoint, this wasn't anywhere near outstanding as a wrestling match, but they told an engaging story and the crowd were into it. </span></p><p> </p><p>

The Junior Tag Team Championship's are on the line in the main event as New Solution face off against the team they beat for the titles IMPERIOUS......</p><p> </p><p>

The start of the match, see's neither side really press home and advantage- as the feel one another out and engage in several chain wrestling exchanges with one another- that is until Kuro accomplice Soh Terajima, trips Yamato up from the apron. Incognito takes immediate advantage and takes down Yamato with a spinning head-scissors, that sends 'Pin Point' into a Lariat from Long for a two count.</p><p> </p><p>

That put's IMPERIOUS firmly in the drivers seat, and they 'heel' it up by using lots of phantom tags and taking every opportunity to use illegal tactics such as trying to choke out Yamato with the tag rope.....Hideki of course protested about this to referee Sugimura- but his protests only served to be a distraction and thus more of a hinderence for his partner. </p><p> </p><p>

Yamato was determined not to give up however and countered an <strong>Emperor Driver</strong> attempt from Tian Long with a high knee, followed by a legsweep DDT. Yamato then tried to make the tag, but Hideki was drop-kicked off the apron by Incognito, who then took down 'Pin Point' with a springboard back elbow.....right into a Dragon suplex from Tian Long........</p><p> </p><p>

One......</p><p> </p><p>

Two.....</p><p> </p><p>

Thr.........</p><p> </p><p>

Yamato managed to kick out, but remained in trouble and was planted with a scoop slam by Long, as Incognito headed up top. 'El Pesadilla Hermosa' came crashing down upon Yamato with the <strong>Susurro De La Muerte</strong> (630 Senton)......</p><p> </p><p>

But Yamato had enough wits left to get the knees up...... 'Pin Point' then ducked a clothesline from Long and nailed the chinese veteran with a drop-kick..before mustering up one last burst of energy to get the tag into Hideki. </p><p> </p><p>

Hideki drilled Long with a missile drop-kick and then sent Incognito over the top-rope with a back body-drop.....Incognito landed on the apron however and springboarded back in to take Hideki down with a flying head-scissors, only for 'Integral Prowess' to pop straight back up and nail Incognito with a <strong>Superkick! </strong></p><p> </p><p>

One.......</p><p> </p><p>

Two......</p><p> </p><p>

Thr.........</p><p> </p><p>

Long made the save, and then took control with a series of clubbing blows on Hideki, before planting 'Integral Prowess' with a Chokeslam for a two count. Long then headed up top, to set up for the <strong>Corkscrew From Heaven......</strong></p><p> </p><p>

But Yamato burst out of the corner and nailed Long with a jumping knee strike.......Yamato then climbed to the top, but was cut off by Incognito......a recovered Hideki then got rose back to his feet and sent everyone crashing back in with a powerbomb...resulting in a 'tower of doom' spot.....</p><p> </p><p>

After everyone picked themselves back up, it was the champions who seized the momentum....sending their opponents out of the ring with stereo drop-kicks and then following up with stereo suicide dives......</p><p> </p><p>

Hideki brought Incognito back into the ring and planted the dastardly gaijin with the <strong>Final Base</strong> (Half Nelson Lifted Wheelbarrow Driver)......</p><p> </p><p>

One.....</p><p> </p><p>

Two......</p><p> </p><p>

Three...</p><p> </p><p>

NO! referee Sugimura was once again distracted by a Black Box wielding Terajima.....Hideki then nailed the interfering Terajima, by super-kicking the Black Box into his face......but then turned around into having protein powder dumped over him by Tian Long (who moments earlier had just flapjacked Yamato onto the ring-steps).......</p><p> </p><p>

Long then planted the disorientated Hideki with the <strong>Emperor Driver</strong> (Sit Out Side Powerslam) </p><p> </p><p>

One.....</p><p> </p><p>

Two.....</p><p> </p><p>

Thr.....</p><p> </p><p>

Yamato had managed to drag himself back into the ring to make the save.... Long then took down Yamato with a clothesline, but turned back round into a super-kick from Hideki.....</p><p> </p><p>

Yamato then got a waistlock hold on Long, and New Solution combined to dump Long with the <strong>Keiyakusha</strong> (Superkick assisted German Suplex)......</p><p> </p><p>

One.......</p><p> </p><p>

Two......</p><p> </p><p>

Thr.........</p><p> </p><p>

Incognito dived in to make the desperate save, but was quickly intercepted by Yamato, who took down 'El Pesadilla Hermosa' with a Reverse STO........</p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile Hideki flipped Long onto his back with a Northern Lights Suplex and immediately floated into a Cross Arm Bar.....the <strong>'Hideki Special'</strong>......</p><p> </p><p>

Long had nothing left to give and with Incognito neutralised by Yamato, 'Imperial' saw no other choice but to tap out!, as New Solution proved themselves to be the best Junior Tag Team in the world and see off the challenge of the former champs. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#A0522D;">Result: Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki [w] bt Incognito & Tian Long [L] in 19:44 via submission (Hideki Special)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#800080;">New Solution make V4 defence of the DIASPORA Junior Tag Team Championship.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"><strong>Takayuki Balls:</strong></span><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> Good display of Junior Tag Team action on display here, but the crowd felt a little flat, had me wondering if perhaps this should have gone on in the semi main event slot....but I personally have a preference for putting a championship match in the main event. I must also admit though that the opening half of the match, was somewhat lethargic, as though the competitors were lacking energy and it was only when Hideki got the hot tag it seemed to kick into gear. </span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#006400;"><strong>Kotei Yamato:</strong></span><span style="color:#006400;"> IMPERIOUS you brought your best and your worst at us, and we're still standing here as the Junior Tag Team Champions. We've beaten you twice now, it's for you to accept that we ARE the better team! </span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#008000;"><strong>Shintaro Hideki:</strong></span><span style="color:#008000;"> We are the best Junior Heavyweight Tag Team in the world and we will continue to prove it against any one who feels they have what it takes to challenge for these belts. </span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#8B0000;"><strong>Tian Long</strong></span><span style="color:#8B0000;">: I could have fought on, but I decided to submit defeat...because I am wise enough to see the bigger picture, this war is not over and when all is said and done, only the enlightened shall stand tall! </span></p><p>

<strong>Takayuki's Final Verdict:</strong> Another solid show, but I think what this shows....is that I need to build some more stars...as the crowd wasn't hot for a main event, consisting of upper midcarders, despite it being in my personal opinion, a very good match.</p>

<p>Nice update. My predictions were dead wrong for pretty much every match that wasn't champions vs jobbers, but it was a good show. I liked the debut for Dark Wolf and Blood Spider. I don't know how good they are in the ring, but even if they suck their worth keeping around for their awesome masks.</p><p> </p><p>

So you said you signed six new workers right? So we still have one more debut to look forward to.</p>

Blood Spider Jr, isn't that great right now, but he's very young (only 20) and will hopefully improve.</p><p> </p><p> The final debutant will debut at the next show- don't expect anyone main event ready, but he is something of a 'pet project' of mine.</p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#8B0000;">The Intensity of DIASPORA </span></span></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/?action=view&current=ShintaroHideki.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_ShintaroHideki.jpg</span></a> <a href="http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/?action=view&current=KoteiYamato.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_KoteiYamato.jpg</span></a></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Prior to the show Hideki-san and Yamato-san, our Junior Tag champs came up to me, and said they were feeling well and truly knackered, and that if possible could the main event be adjusted, so it ends quickly. I told them if they want the match to end quickly, the belts will go back to Long-san and Incognito. I really didn't want to stroke Incognito's already over-sized ego any further, but if New Solution didn't feel up to the task. Afraid to lose the belts the champs soon changed their tune and said they would gut it out, and fight through the pain and exhaustion.</p><p> </p><p>

Come the shown and I must admit, they did not look notably out of gas, but the eventual energy of the fans and the importance of the occasion gave Hideki-san and Yamato-san, a burst of adrenalin to see them through. </p><p> </p><p>

Now I had it down entirely as New Solution's, gruelling schedule that see's them travelling between us and Dragon Pro Wrestling in America. But then other's like Arato-san, Ichigawa-san and such like were moaning about how knackered they are- something wasn't right and I couldn't quite put my finger on it.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/?action=view&current=EikichiMinamoto.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_EikichiMinamoto.jpg</span></a></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Minamoto-san came up to me, and confessed the locker-room's general feeling <span style="color:#000080;">'This high intensitiy stuff is killing us, we'll probably all end up dead at this rate'</span></p><p> </p><p>

I said all ending up dead was a bit of an exaggeration but it was clear everyone was becoming more and more tired.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">'Well we may as well be dead, becauase if we carry on like we are, we will be about as useful as a dead person......I'm all for intensity, but this is over doing it'</span></p><p> </p><p>

I told Minamoto-san, that it wasn't me who had it set in stone for everyone to go out every match, hitting every move with super intensity. </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#0000FF;">' Look I'll have a word with Dragon-san, it's clear everyone in the locker-room right now is at breaking point'</span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">'I mean I'm going out there every night, with the same intensity that you have feelings of love for Tenma, and that's off the charts intense- believe me!!!'</span></p><p> </p><p>

What's off the charts intense is Minamoto-san's obsession with School Rumble, does he still not realise that I'm not the real life incarnation of a character drawn onto a piece of paper and then animated. I told him again, that my name is not Harima- but it was a weak attempt to get the message across, I had long come to the conclusion that any attempt to convince him otherwise would be a fruitless exercise. </p><p> </p><p>

....But back to the matter at hand, Dragon-san was the boss after all and I can only imagine it was him who had laid down the instructions to everyone that they had to all go out and be ultra-intense in all their matches. </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#808000;">******************************************************</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/?action=view&current=PrimeDragon.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_PrimeDragon.jpg</span></a><p> </p><p>

<span>http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQrpy-lX7Rc3nahSPWrulGIlUONeGyRYaQrYAl4Q-ckmNoHx2-lJQ</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Dragon-san and I talked over breakfast at the hotel we had booked into at Tokushima, on Shikoku, it was yet another of those sterile blocks of concrete used by the undiscerning business traveller - it was clear that Dragon-san wanted to keep costs down. Oh well at least it's not one of those Capsule Hotels. I know space can be at a premium here in Japan, but I just cannot deal with having to sleep in one of those! </p><p> </p><p>

Anyway I confronted Dragon-san on the issue of the intensity of the matches and how everyone was at breaking point and that we were probably heading for a long injury list- due to workers being exhausted both physically and mentally. </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#006400;">'I feel the pain too, but we must fight through the pain...in order to show we are stronger than the evil empire.....the evil empire shall be taken down...because we are stronger!' </span></p><p> </p><p>

Now it's all rather admirable that the boss want's to show DIASPORA has action that is more hard hitting than UPJ, but is he completely off his rocking horse? Did he really want to prove just how more 'bad-ass' intense we are by practically sending his entire work-force to an early grave?- Then again I was talking to a man who wears his mask 24/7-though I'm still at a loss how the hell he manages to wash in it.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#0000FF;">'Dragon-san, I get your vision but can we just tone it down a little bit, I mean especially in the matches that don't mean much- the sort of matches where the roster should be conserving energy for bigger days ahead'</span></p><p> </p><p>

Dragon-san, sat their quietly pondering what I just said for an entire minute, it felt like an hour- Because should be not budge on his insistence to have everyone go out in every match, and perform with earthquake shattering intensity- I may have had to review my position and return to the world of games development. </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#006400;">'Fine- but if the fan's aren't happy- then I will have to reconsider my position to hire you in the first place- we all have to have the same vision, but ultimately DIASPORA is my vision'</span></p><p> </p><p>

Fair enough, it seemed like he was willing to let me dial down the intensity a little- as long as the fans weren't going to start moaning and groaning about how we had become 'soft'. To be honest I'd rather put up with the groans of fans, saying we had turned 'soft' than with a potential lawsuit from one our employees.....Perhaps Minamoto-san, wasn't over-exaggerating after all.</p><p>

________________________________________________________________</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Foot Note:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> Diaspora's product setting were set at 100% intensity- something I only really noticed after the first three events. It was brought to my attention when a number of the roster, were suffering from exhaustion. I really did have to put New Solution out in the main event, with a significant amount of exhaustion- enough to say that their performances would begin to become affected. </span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;">Anyway I have dialed it down to 90% intensity- as there is a 10% leeway either way, I will set most matches at 80% and only keep the big matches at 90%. Minor matches I will even risk, and am prepared to take a hit in the match rating- by dialing them down to below 80%. Those setting are still very intense, but for now, I better not try lowering them any more.</span></p>

The next data update will have intensity set to 85%. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Welcome to Kyoto, former imperial capital of Japan. And welcome to DIASPORA!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Talisman [w] bt HUSTLE Umiro [L] + Xtinction in 11:24 via pinfall (God Know's)</em></strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

This was an ok opening match. Talisman seems past his punishment for the okinomiyaki incident. Until his next blow up.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>HUSTLE Umiro: Daz wat robbery in da daylight, no way was I schizzled for three....totally down wit two.......like the powers that be, wantin' to swizzle me. </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Now dance with me! 3..2..1..Hustle! Hustle!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Hiro Date & Oda Yamawaki [w] bt Go Takashi & Hunter Wolfe [L] in 9:57 </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

A fairly typical established stars vs. new guys match. It's normal for the veterans to take as much offense as they can in a match and see if the younger guys just let them or 'fight' back. This was that type of match but should be a good learning experience.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa [w], Eikichi Minamoto & Kan Mitsubishi vs Aki Shimizudani [L], Horiuchi Inokuma & Yachi Kotara in 12:42 via pinfall (Decapitator)</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

I think everyone guessed this one correctly. Short writeup for a foregone conclusion.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Prime Dragon & Zodiac [w] bt Kohei Hidaka [L] & Hideaki Kasuse in 10:05 via submission (Twelve Signs)</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Another foregone conclusion match and still one of the best of the night. PD and Zodiac have the star power, but Forgotten made me appreciate them more with this result. The post match sneak attack helps keep the heat on Kuro and makes a good debut for the new guys. And who doesn't love a mist spewing wrestler?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Twelve Signs (Cross Face/Cloverleaf combo hold). </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

I'm really trying to imagine how this hold works, unless it's a doubleteam.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Chojiro Ono [w] bt Taheji Ebisawa [L] in 9:51 via pinfall (Tsunami) </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

I'd picked a win for Ebisawa (oops), but this was still a decent debut. He got some good offense in and Kuro felt the need to use tricks to win.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Sairento [w] & GUSHIKEN vs Hiroto Nori [L] & Koto Arato in 21:50 via pinfall (Death Note)</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Now we're into the filet mignon of the card. The best and most tender. Or maybe I need to eat lunch first. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>attacking the S.H.I.P pair from behind.</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Are the Yaoi fangirls for S.H.I.P. Known as SHIPPERs? They'll love lines like this.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Absolute Terror (Front Knee Strike to the Face) </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Nice to see this back. AT Strike! On a related note, I like the format for calling moves. It's descriptive and makes it easy to visualize what is going on most of the time. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>you can only beat us...when you gain the advantage...eventually though you will not have that advantage and we will show that we are better than you, much better than you! </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Because then we'll have the advantage and you won't have the advantage. Because he who has the advantage wins, and he who wins has the..advantage. Yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Result: Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki [w] bt Incognito & Tian Long [L] in 19:44 via submission (Hideki Special) </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Yeah, Takayuki is just messing with us now by the matches he's putting Mister Protected (Tian Long) into. I wonder if the profile of the matches means the boss is not annoyed over the losses Tian has. As a lightweight promotion, it seems appropriate to have the title match as the main event. If it was UJW, I'd expect it to be lower down the card since they focus on heavies.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Hideki then nailed the interfering Terajima, by super-kicking the Black Box into his face </em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Didn't we just see this spot two matches ago? Terajima is a slow learner. Good match but the semi-main did come off better in the write up.</p><p> </p><p>

Overall good card. Fun to see how the 100% intensity is wearing the crew down.</p>

<p>Always look forward to your card reviews Miko <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Infernalmiko" data-cite="Infernalmiko" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="33447" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <strong><em>Twelve Signs (Cross Face/Cloverleaf combo hold). </em></strong></p><p> </p><p> I'm really trying to imagine how this hold works, unless it's a doubleteam. </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <em>To be honest so am I, but I swear I saw it listed somewhere.
