Excellent start , and nice to see a Meido Machine appearance :D

I also don't mind at all, that you're plagarising my style :p;)- I take it as a compliment :)

Thanks for the compliments. Is it really plagiarism if I cite my sources? :p

I definitely based my match writeups on yours, since your match write ups are my favorites of any diary I've read. I figured that pretty much any style of write-up was likely to have been done before by somebody else, so I might as well imitate the best, you know?5

Edit:

I also want to remember to thank Jdh1 for the alts he made of Crowley and Kadavar. I love his artwork and it's really nice of him to help me out by making alts for characters.

I was in over my head. I never though I knew everything about being a booker, but I didn't realize just how little I knew until after that first show. The show itself hadn't gone especially well, but there was nothing to be done about that now. It's easy enough to get people to trust you when you're doing well and putting on good shows, but after a show like the last one people want to see that you have a plan going forward; not just for the next show but long term plans and story lines.

I looked over my notes and put together a list of shows for the next six months:

  • February 18th in Cleveland: Pow! Wham! Splat! Blamo!
  • March 10th in Chicago: Walking the Plank
  • April 13th in Chicago: Chaos Tournament Day One
  • April 14th in Chicago: Chaos Tournament Day Two
  • May 12th in Milwaukee: The Dusty Road
  • June 9th in Chicago: Heroes and Villains

As is POW custom the names for events were the most part bizarre phrases the didn't really have any relation to the contents. The exception being the two day Chaos Tournament which is intended to be one of the biggest POW events of the year. Eventually I had what looked like a plan, but like any plan all it takes is one stroke of fortune to change things completely...

Trios Match: Discotheque and DISCO Fox vs Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman.

Pow! Wham! Splat! Blamo! will feature a huge trios match pitting Discotheque and DISCO Fox against Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman.

Alexia Dynamite may have lost her title match, but the former POW Grand champion is looking to put herself back in the title picture with a victory tonight. Joining her is the duo of "The Aviator" Geoffrey C. Westminster and the Highwayman who look to continue their momentum fresh off their victory over the the Frat Pack. DISCO Fox has won the right to challenge for Discotheque's Sidekicks Titles, but tonight he'll be teaming up with the champions. Will the champions and challenger be able to work together?

Open Challenge: El Scorcho vs Meido Machine

Meido Machine made his debut on Aniversario II with an impressive win over Freshman Patel, but the bizarre new member of the POW roster will face a much larger test tonight. El Scorcho has made it clear he wants a shot at his tag team partner Sky Panther's Grand Title, but if he wants a shot at tonight then he'll need to pull of a victory tonight. Will El Scorcho bolster his claim to a shot at the title or will Meido Machine get a huge win over the man from Japan?

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and the Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

The duo known as the Secret Service seem to have more on their minds than going for the tag team titles, but tonight they'll have their first in ring match. Dreamscape came up just short in their title match against Discotheque and will surely want to rebound by spoiling their opponent's debut. Their's something mysterious about both teams, but only one can be victorious. Find out who will claim victory tonight on Pow! Wham! Splat! Blamo!

Heavyweight Challenge: Darius King vs WMD

WMD has been dominant as of late and has threatened to destroy anyone who stands between her and the POW Grand title. This time however she'll be facing someone with the strength and size to match her in the ring. Will WMD continue her dominant ways or will the college football star bring an end to her reign of destruction?

Cruiserweight Showdown: El Hot Dog vs Freshman Patel vs Earl Ray Travis

Tonight we have a special match between three talented aerial artists. All three men came up short in their matches on Aniversario II, but all will be working extra hard to come up with a victory tonight. Who will win this high flying free for all?

<a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=SkyPanther.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/SkyPanther.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> vs <a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=QuestionMark.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/QuestionMark.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Special Non-Title Match: Sky Panther vs ???

The Grand Champion Sky Panther is on a roll after having defeated former champion Alexia Dynamite to retain his championship. He will be in action tonight, but against who?

Prediction List:

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and The Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

El Hot Dog vs Freshman Patel vs Earl Ray Travis

Darius King vs WMD

Donny Chic, KC Summers, and DISCO Fox vs Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman

El Scorcho vs Meido Machine

Non-Title: Sky Panther vs ???

Excellent first show. Loved the names you have chosen for the upcoming events. :)

Here are my predictions for the next show:

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and The Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

I think the Secret Service will win and begin their claim to challenge for the Tag Titles further down the line.

El Hot Dog vs Freshman Patel vs Earl Ray King

Freshman Patel bounce back after his loss in the first show.

Darius King vs WMD

WMD continues her path of destruction on her way to a Title shot.

Donny Chic, KC Summers, and DISCO Fox vs Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman

The dancing Trio pick up the win here.

El Scorcho vs Meido Machine

El Scorcho triumphs over the deranged maid

Non-Title: Sky Panther vs ???

Although it's not-title the champ wins to remain looking strong.

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and The Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

I really like Dreamscape (mostly due to the cool masks) but their not main event guys and I think Secret Service need the win more to look an immediate threat.

El Hot Dog vs Freshman Patel vs Earl Ray King

Jobber match, could go any of the three ways- yes I even think El Hot Dog has a chance here...but I'm going to tip Earl Ray for the win anyway.

Darius King vs WMD

Darius just doesn't have the committment to wrestling and I see him doing the job here to put over the big angry woman.

Donny Chic, KC Summers, and DISCO Fox vs Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman

The Disco Dudes will end up having issues (I can see them trying to out 'show off' one another) and the heels will take advantage of that to steal a win.

El Scorcho vs Meido Machine

Even if Meido is my own personal creation, I can't tip him here to go over El Scorcho- who is being built to challenge his tag partner for the title.

Non-Title: Sky Panther vs ???

I think the mystery debutant will have a strong debut, but not strong enough to go over the champ, even if this is non title.

Great start. You got me hooked :)

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and The Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

Pretty hard one actually. Dreamscape seems to be one of the few heel teams so until other teams come around they are likely to stay at least somewhat strong but that bad chemistry note hurts them a lot. I go with Secret Service this time but I could see this one going either way.

El Hot Dog vs Freshman Patel vs Earl Ray King

Pretty much a coin flip between these three but King seems slighly stronger to me so that the way I will be going.

Darius King vs WMD

Darius is slighly tougher opponents than Hot Dog was but I still see WMD getting a win.

Donny Chic, KC Summers, and DISCO Fox vs Alexia Dynamite, Geoffrey C. Westminster II, and the Highwayman

Another tough one here as Alexia seems to be the top guy/girl here but overall I see face side being slighly stronger.

El Scorcho vs Meido Machine

Sorry Tigerkinney, but Meido is out of his league here.

Non-Title: Sky Panther vs ???

Non-title, so some new top guy gets a debut win that will lead to title shot further down the line.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad to see that people are reading and enjoying this. I'm also happy that the match ups for this show are more even and we've got some different opinions on who'll win each match.

Excellent first show. Loved the names you have chosen for the upcoming events. :)

I have to admit that when I was coming up with names I used Chikara as an inspiration. I liked their style of a few big recurring yearly events (Like King of Trios, Young Lions Cup, etc...) and then a bunch of normal shows with strange/silly names.

"Hello and welcome to Pow! Wham! Splat! Blamo! Tonight is POW's first visit to the state of Ohio and we've got a great card for the occasion."

"Y'arr, you be right fer once matey. There may not be any championships on the line tonight, but their will certainly be title implications."

"Right, and our opening match between Dreamscape and The Secret Service is no exception. Whoever wins the match will be well on their way to a title match."

"Aye. The Secret Service will want to launch themselves into title contendership with a win in their debut, but Dreamscape will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Discotheque last month."

The Secret Service (Oliver Owens the 7th and The Master of Disguise) vs Dreamscape (Frightening and Scaremare)

<a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=PaulCrowley_alt.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/PaulCrowley_alt.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=EbiKadivar_alt2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/EbiKadivar_alt2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> vs <a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=Frightening.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/Frightening.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=Scaremare.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/Scaremare.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Owens and Scaremare start the match out, but Owens, in his stylish tuxedo, starts out in a rather unusual manner by questioning Scaremare.

Owens: I need you to tell me what you know about the Dark Ritual.

Scaremare: ...

Owens: I see, we'll have to do this the hard way.

The match started with some chain wrestling with Owens getting the better of the exchange. Owens continued to interrogate the masked man while he had him locked in various submission holds, but the masked man refused to speak anything intelligible in response.

Dreamscape regained control of the match after a cheap shot from Frightening on the outside that let them work over Owens in their corner for a couple of minutes. After having worn down Owens, Dreamscape looked to bring an early end to the match when they set Owens up for the Black-Out (STO/Springboard Dropkick Combo,) but Owens had enough fight left in him to counter the STO from Frightening and shove him into Scaremare; knocking him off the apron. This bought Owens enough time to make the hot tag to his partner.

The Master of Disguise exploded into the match as he took down Frightening in the ring with a Springboard Hurricanrana. Scaremare entered the ring and tried to take him down with a running Yakuza kick, but in a great display of Agility the Master of Disguise bridged backwards to duck the kick and took him down with a legsweep. The Master of Disguise followed up with a perfect standing moonsault on the prone Scaremare and went for a cover, but Frightening broke up the pin before the referee could count to three.

Owens entered the ring and had Frightening reeling with a series of punches and forearms before dropping him with a roaring elbow. Before Owens could capitalize he was met by an enzuigiri to the back of the head from Scaremare. Scaremare tried to go for the cover, but The Master of Disguise was there to break it up.

The Master of Disguise and Scaremare were left standing in the ring where they had a fast paced lucha-style exchange of moves that ended with Scaremare being dumped to the floor. The Master of Disguise leaped onto the turnbuckle and hit a beautiful Unidentified Flying Object (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) to the outside on Scaremare that got a huge reaction from the crowd.

Owens and Frightening were back in the ring exchanging punches and kicks. Frightening went for a springboard flash kick, but Owens cut him off at the rope and hit a big release German Suplex that send Frightening crashing to the canvas. It looked like the Secret Service were nearing victory as The Master of Disguise climbed the turnbuckle above the prone frightening, but suddenly a Masked Man jumped out of the crowd and shoved the Master of Disguise off the turnbuckle, sending him crashing into the barricades!

Owens was distracted by the attack on his partner and this distraction allowed Frightening enough time to recover and hit a big DDT on Owens. Owens managed to kick out of the pin at two and a half, but with his partner taken out on the outside this left Dreamscape open to climb to the top rope and finish Owens off with the Absolute Terror (Frogsplash/Legdrop Combo.) After hitting their finisher, Scaremare covered Owens for the one, two, three.

After the match the masked man who had interfered in the match grabbed a microphone and joined Dreamscape in the ring.

Dread Nocturne

"Tonight you have seen but a mere glimpse of the darkness that is coming. Paragons of Wrestling, your nightmare is just beginning."

Dread Nocturne dropped the microphone and turned to leave the ring, but instead stopped and signaled to his allies. Instead of leaving the ring the three masked men began stomping on the down Oliver Owens the 7th. Suddenly Sky Panther ran out from the back and hit the ring. The Masked men ditched the ring as Sky Panther entered.

<a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/?action=view&current=SkyPanther.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh584/Tiberious4/SkyPanther.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Sky Panther

"If your looking for a fight so bad that you attack people when they're down then I got a solution for you. I got enough fight in me for all three of you, so why don't you come in here and take your best shot?"

Dreamscape got ready to enter the ring and attack Sky Panther, but Dread Nocturne stopped them and instead grabbed a microphone.

"Interfering in our affairs is a foolish move Sky Panther. You may think you're helping these two, but you are merely throwing yourself into the abyss after them. If a fight is what you wish then I will grant it. Tonight we will meet one on one and soon your nightmares will come true."

Announcer "The Chef" Chet Rio alongside "Buccaneer" Jack Robin

"Some threatening words from the newest member of the POW Roster Dread Nocturne, but he's going to have a huge challenge tonight when he goes up against the Grand Champion, Sky Panther."

"Aye, but if he's powerful enough to give orders to a team like Dreamscape then he's got to be dangerous."

"Well we'll have to wait until tonight to see what happens there, but right now we've got some high flying action with a three way between El Hot Dog, Freshman Patel, and Earl Ray Travis."

This match got underway quickly with the three high flyers all taking to the air quickly. The crowd wasn't especially interested in the match; a fact that wasn't helped by several botched spots in the match.

The finish of the match came after El Hotdog took down Earl Ray with a flying Cross-Bun (Cross-body) El Hot Dog climbed to the top rope and went for a Hot-Dog-Sault (Moonsault) but ended up crashing and burning when Freshman Patel pulled Earl Ray out of the ring. Patel quickly rolled up El Hot Dog for the three count.

WMD

"Didn't I tell you last time that if you didn't get out of my way I'd smack that smile off your face?"

"Chill, I came here with a proposal I think you will be interested in."

"The only thing I care about is hurting people and winning championships."

"Well than my proposal may interest you. I'm the number one contender for the tag team titles, but I'm in need of a partner and I've seen what you can do in the ring."

"You want me to be your partner?" WMD seemed amused by the idea of becoming DISCO Fox's tag partner, but didn't say yes or no to the offer before walking away.

The Camera shifted over to a different backstage segment where El Scorcho seemed to be preparing for his match later in the night. Suddenly Meido Machine walked into the shot with his distinctive maid outfit.

El Scorcho

"Of course I am, where else could I have gotten my quadruple black belts in Kung Fu, Ninjitsu, Paragliding, and Not looking at Explosions."

"Please Scorcho-san, let me have the honor of becoming your tag team partner. I so want to learn more about your wonderful culture."

"I think you've already learned enough about the culture, besides I already have a tag team partner."

"You mean Panther-san? But he is the Grand Champion. Surely he's too concerned with his singles career to tag with you."

"Look I appreciate the offer, but I don't need a new tag team partner."

"Why? Am I not good enough for you?! Fine, I will prove to you that I'm worthy. I'll show you, I'll show everyone!"

Meido stormed away after as El Scorcho just shrugged at the bizarre newcomer.

Early on Darius's Size and power let him go toe to toe with WMD who was used to being able to outpower her opponents, but WMD eventually decided to switch tactics and feinted going for a test of strength with Darius before kicking him in the gut and taking control of the match. WMD lit up her opponent with a serious of stiff forearms and punches before taking him down with a belly to back suplex into a pinning attempt, but Darius managed to get a shoulder up before the three count.

WMD thought she had her opponent beat and took the time to give the referee a death glare, but this allowed Darius time to get back into the match with a series of right hands that staggered WMD. Darius ran to the ropes to gain speed and staggered WMD with a running shoulder block. Darius hit another running shoulder block, but still couldn't get the big woman off her feet. Darius went for a third running shoulder block, but this time WMD was ready as she countered the move into a huge Spinebuster on Darius.

With Darius down, WMD went to the top rope. WMD leaped off the top rope and landed right on top of Darius with a big Moonsault. WMD went for the cover and got the easy one, two, three.

"Sky Panther, I hope you're not too busy celebrating your victory over me last month because you know as well as I do that your win was nothing more than a fluke. I hope you're watching our match tonight, because I'm going to show everyone why I was the first and greatest Grand champion when we defeat Discotheque and DISCO Fox tonight."

The high energy trio of Disco Fox and Discotheque looked good at the opening match as they used their speed and agility to get the edge on their opponents. However Disco Fox and Discotheque seemed to be trying to outdo one another in the early going and this let the villainous trio eventually regain control of the match as they seemed to be on the same page with frequent tags and teamwork to isolate and wear down their opponents.

The heels had managed to isolate the newcomer, DISCO Fox, in their corner while they wore him down. DISCO Fox tried to fight his way out with a series of flying forearms and seemed to be doing a good job of it, but the numbers game proved too much as a cheap shot from the outside shut down his rally. It looked like the heels might get an early win when the Highwayman hit a big Stand and Deliver (Lariat,) but DISCO Fox showed great tenacity by kicking out at two and a half.

The Highwayman berated the referee's counting speed before lifting DISCO Fox up for the Ransom Note (Spinning Sidewalk Slam), but DISCO Fox countered the move into a hurricanrana! DISCO Fox finally got the hot tag onto Donny Chic who entered the ring and quickly took down The Highwayman with a spin kick.

Westminster and Dynamite entered the ring followed by KC Summers and soon it had broken down with the Tag Champs fighting all three of their opponents in the ring, but the energy and teamwork of Dischotheque let them keep rolling even though it was 3 on 2.

Discotheque quickly took down Westminster and Dynamite with dual dropkicks. The Highwayman went for a double clothesline, but the tag champs saw it coming and ducked under the clothesline and nailed the Highwayman as he turned with The Parties Over (Double Superkick.) Chic went for the pin and looked like he had him, but Dynamite and Westminster both got there in time to break up the pin.

Alexia Dynamite hit Summers with a double knee arm-breaker before locking the Dynamite Lock (Twisting Armbar.) Donny Chic tried to break up the submission, but Westminster cut him off and restrained him. KC Summers was in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go as his arm was twisted back painfully. It looked like he would have to tap out, but Donny Chic managed to break out of Westminsters grip and send Alexia Dynamite out of the ring with a spin kick. Of course turning your back on Westminster is a dangerous move as Donny Chic discovered when "The Aviator" spiked him with The Bombing Run (Tornado DDT.) Wesminster went for the cover, but DISCO Fox had recovered in time to break up the pin.

DISCO Fox had Montgomery reeling as he threw a series of kicks and punches that backed Montgomery into the corner. DISCO fox nailed Montgomery with a Yakuza kick and seeing his opportunity went up to the top rope. Disco Fox struck a funky pose before hitting the DISCO Drop (450 Splash) Alexia Dynamite tried to break up the cover, but KC Summers managed to hold her back as the referee counted the one, two, three.

Discotheque and Disco Fox celebrated their victory with a continuation of their dance off last week, but the song ended mid-way when WMD made her way to the ring with a microphone.

WMD

"DISCO Fox I have to say you impressed me. And tell you what, I accept your offer to become tag team partners."

WMD shook DISCO Fox's hand to symbolize her acceptance. She reached out and offered her hand to Discotheque, but as Summers reached out to accept she took him down with a vicious lariat and then hit Donny Chic with a hard forearm before dumping them both from the ring.

"Discotheque, you better be ready next month because we are coming for your titles and that's just a taste of what happens to people who stand in my way."

Having made her point WMD left the ring and passed by the crowd who were mostly booing her. DISCO Fox looked shocked by WMD's sneak attack, but followed her out of the ring.

"WMD sending a strong message to Discotheque."

"Aye that be a powerful lass. I told you that Discotheque would come to regret giving out the number one contendorship like that."

"You may be right, but we'll have to wait until next week to find out. Up next we have the charismatic El Scorcho against the rather...strange Meido Machine."

The match began with some chain wrestling. Meido seemed to have the early advantage due in part to his good chain wrestling skills and partially due to his maid outfit distracting El Scorcho.

El Scorcho switched up his strategies after determining he wasn't going to win a chain wrestling match with Meido and instead upped the fast with some high flying lucha style maneuvers and arm drags. This gave El Scorcho the edge temporarily, but Meido showed that their was more to his game than just technical wrestling as he upped the tempo himself with some high flying aerial maneuvers.

Eventually El Scorcho took over with a series of flying forearms and dropkicks, but the advantage quickly shifted when El Scorcho went for a third dropkick on the reeling Meido only for Meido to counter the dropkick and roll him over into a Boston Crab. Meido wrenched on his leg putting pressure on El Scorcho's back. El Scorcho eventually managed to claw his way over to the ropes to force Meido to release the hold.

Meido looked to press his advantage as he quickly climbed the turnbuckle and played to the crowd before shouting Meido Beam! Meido leaped off the turnbuckle going for the missile dropkick, but El Scorcho dodged the attack leaving Meido to crash on the canvas. Seeing his opportunity, El Scorcho clasped his hands together and signalled to the crowd he was ready to finish the match by shouting "Bullet Time!" Everyone in the ring seemed to slow down and El Scorcho used his abilities to dodge a few punched from Meido and counter with some strikes of his own. He finished the slow motion series with the Blinding Kung Fu Rush, (a series of normal speed punches and kicks to a slow motion opponent) and went for the cover. One, two, the- Meido surprised both El Scorcho and the audience by managing to get a shoulder up before the three count.

El Scorcho looked to finish the match as he climbed up to the top rope. El Scorcho waited as Meido got to his feet and then leapt off and connected with the Kung Fu Kick (Diving Thrust Kick) that sent Meido back to the canvas. El Scorcho went for the cover again, but Meido got a foot on the rope to break the pin.

El Scorcho was surprised by his opponent's tenacity, but got in position for a super kick and waited for Meido to get to his feet. As Meido got onto to his feet El Scorcho stepped forward and tried to nail him with the Scorch Kick (Superkick) but Meido sidestepped out of the way and countered into a beautiful bridging german suplex hold. The referee started the count, but El Scorcho managed to get a shoulder up at the two count. Meido was undeterred however and seamlessly transitioned to lock the still groggy El Scorcho into the Nyan-Lock! (Keylock) El Scorcho struggled, but Meido had the hold locked in and was wrenching on El Scorcho's arm and shoulder. El Scorcho was in a ton of pain and out of desperation managed to roll Meido over, but Meido held onto the painful submission hold!

It looked like El Scorcho was going to tap out, but before Meido realized what was happening the referee's hand hit the mat for a third time as Meido's shoulders were on the mat even though he still had El Scorcho's arm locked.

After his victory El Scorcho rolled out of the ring and got a microphone.

"Meido, you are a talented wrestler and you very nearly beat me today, but as I told you before I don't need a partner."

Meido looked frustrated and disappointed in himself that he had come so close to defeating his opponent only to make a mistake and lose the match. He exited the ring and walked to the back without giving any response to El Scorcho's words.

"Meido Machine may have lost the match, but he looked extremely impressive and came close to upsetting El Scorcho.

"Aye, but a ship close to being seaworthy still sinks."

"I suppose you have a point. Anyway up next in our main event we have the Grand Champion, Sky Panther taking on the newest member of the POW roster; Dread Nocturne."

The tag team of Dreamscape accompanied Dread Nocturne to the ring and remained around ringside as the match began. It looked like a pretty even match up early on, but distractions from Dreamscape on the outside let Dread Nocturne take control early. Dread Nocturne looked like he wanted to wear down his opponent with a barrage of stiff elbow and knee strikes. Sky Panther tried to speed up the pace of the match, but Dreamscape provided enough distraction on the outside to continually cut off Sky Panther's rallies until finally the referee had enough of their antics and ejected the two of them from ringside.

The ejection distracted Dread Nocturne long enough that Sky Panther was able to rally back into the match with a series of forearms. Nocturne tried to cut him off with a clothesline, but Sky Panther took him down with a springboard cross-body that got a two count. Sky Panther went for the Panthersault( Springboard Moonsault,) but Dread Nocturne rolled out of the way. Sky Panther landed on his feet and hit the rising Dread Nocturne with a Shining Wizard and went for a pin, but Nocturne got a hand on the ropes to save his chances of a victorious debut.

As Dread Nocturne groggily rose to his knees, Sky Panther say his opponent was set up perfectly for the Panther's Claw (Mid-Air Ace Crusher to Kneeling Opponent,) but after running off the ropes to gain speed he was met by a hard side kick from Dread Nocturne. Dread Nocturne followed up with a vicious series of knees and elbows to Sky Panther's head that had him stunned. Dread Nocturne saw his opportunity and lifted him up into the air before dropping him head first on the mat with a devastating Lights Out! (Brainbuster) Dread Nocturne hooked Sky Panthers leg, but somehow Sky Panther got a shoulder up before the referee got to three.

Dread Nocturne climbed to the turnbuckle above the still prone Sky Panther and dragged his thumb across his throat to symbolize that he was going to bring an end to the match. Dread Nocturne went for a Nightmare Stomp, (Double Foot Stomp) but Sky Panther avoided the move by rolling out of the way. Dread Nocturne managed to roll forward and onto his feet after the missed aerial attack, but was met by a running dropkick from the Grand Champion.

Sky Panther had found a second wind and was unloading on Dread Nocturne with a barrage of flying kicks and punches. Eventually throwing Dread Nocturne to the outside with a hurricanrana. Dread Nocturne got to his feet on the outside as the referee made his count. Sky Panther signaled for Dread Nocturne to get back in the ring, but Dread Nocturne took his time on the outside. As the referee got up to eight Dread Nocturne started to step back from the ring and seemingly was going to let himself be counted out, but suddenly someone grabbed him and threw him back into the ring!

Dread Nocturne turned to see that it was The Master of Disguise who threw him back into the ring. Apparently having been hidden at ringside the whole time. This distraction proved to be fatal however as he turned around and was met by an enzuigiri kick to the head from Sky Panther. With his opponent down, Sky Panther hit the Panthersault (Springboard Moonsault) and pinned him for the one, two, three.

Booker's notes:

- I felt that the Opening tag match between The Secret Service and Dreamscape was quite good. The match was good enough that it could have headlined the show even though it didn't feature anyone you'd see as one of the top guys in the company. With the arrival of Dread Nocturne it was necessary for Dreamscape to win and establish themselves as a serious force, but with the Secret Service still looking strong in defeat.

-The three way between El Hot Dog, Freshman Patel, and Earl Ray Travis was frankly rather awful. There were lots of botched spots and the crowd didn't really care about any of the performers in the ring. I had Patel go over because technically he is a champion; even if the trios belt is worthless.

-Darius King did a much better job of selling WMD's offense then El Hot Dog, so that's a point in his favor. This match wasn't great by any means, but WMD is getting over as a monster so it seems to be doing it's job.

-The Trios match wasn't especially good, but it wasn't awful either.

- The El Scorcho vs Meido machine match was match of the night. Both of these two impressed me tonight with Meido showing off some great wrestling talent and El Scorcho also cutting the best promo of the night.

- The main event wasn't quite as good as last month's, but I think that had more to do with the crowd then the actual in ring action. This had to be expected when you're comparing a debuting wrestler in a non-title match to the former champion in a title rematch.

- Overall I felt the show was a step in the right direction, but there's a lot of work to do if we want to ever be taken seriously as a promotion.

Very nice show again and Meido looked impressive in defeat :D

That was a really good match write up by the way, you really got over that beyond the bizarre gimmick that Meido's actually a very technically sound wrestler, who should be taken seriously.

Thanks! That was my goal for Meido's match; I was trying to get over the fact that even though Meido was the underdog going into the match, El Scorcho got lucky and got a bit of a fluke pin on Meido.

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

Two months ago The Highwayman made his debut and helped Geoffrey finally get a win over the frat pack team of Darius King and Scott Bingington. This time Freshman Patel and Darius King are looking to avenge their loss. Will the nefarious duo be able to get another win over the frat pack or will their luck finally run out?

Tag Team Title Match: Discotheque vs DISCO Fox and WMD

I don´t see title change happening this early espesially since Fox and WMD haven´t tagged earlier and seem to be face/heel pairing too.

El Scorcho vs Alexia Dynamite

Tough one as win here should catapult either guy/girl to title picture and Scorcho would make interesting title contender for Panther´s title. Still I go with more obvious choice so heel takes the win.

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

There isn´t that many heel tag teams around so I give this one to heels in order to give some reasoning for them to get a tag title match further down the road.

Meido Machine vs Scott Bingington

Meido´s performance in last show made this one lot harder to me but Scott is champion and thus should get some wins... No, Meido´s performance against Scorcho was impressive enough that I buy him being able to get a win here.

Sky Panther and The Secret Service vs Terror Rising (Dread Nocturn, Frightening, and Scaremare)

Tough one again as Secret Service could use a win after losing their debut match but then again so could Nocturn. In the end I see Nocturn as more important so Terror Rising takes the win.

Gutted I missed the predictions for the last show, but once again it was excellently written. The style works very well with the promotion and you definitely have a flair for writing this sort of show. Fun indeed! :D

Tag Team Title Match: Discotheque vs DISCO Fox and WMD

Tough one, but I think DISCO Fox might be the weak link in this match. For that reason I'm going for a Discotheque win, possibly with WMD DQing hersef.

El Scorcho vs Alexia Dynamite

Why not? We've not seen too much of Alexia so far, so it'll be interesting to see how she gets on.

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

The Flying Ace and The Highwaymen to nick it.

Meido Machine vs Scott Bingington

Meido did very well in his last match, while Bingington is really best used as a midcard comedy type.

Sky Panther and The Secret Service vs Terror Rising (Dread Nocturn, Frightening, and Scaremare)

Extremely difficult pick this one, as I can see advantages for both sides getting a win. For that reason I'm going for a draw!

Really enjoying this so far. I like the additions that you have made to the PoW roster as well. They suit the style of the promotion very nicely. Meido was designed to be on the Paragon shows.

Tag Team Title Match: Discotheque vs DISCO Fox and WMD

DISCO and WMD should make for a fun odd-couple though I can't decide if they need a title win to help build that pairing. Soon maybe. But not right now.

El Scorcho vs Alexia Dynamite

Tag team partners eventually facing off for the title? What's not to love?

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

They are Champions after all. Good luck with the Trios belts. Apart from Los Numeros in LWA and a few luchadors, it's hard to find natural groups. That said, the Frat Pack are a nice place to start building a Trios division.

Meido Machine vs Scott Bingington

Meido can be a star of PoW. I really think so.

Sky Panther and The Secret Service vs Terror Rising (Dread Nocturn, Frightening, and Scaremare)

A win for the bad guys... Just to amp up the pressure on Panther what with his tag partner likely to be his nearest contender and all. Terror Rising are a nice group. Dread's character compliments Dreamscape well, even if I can't help but see them as eventual Incoherence-esque good guys down the line.

Tag Team Title Match: Discotheque vs DISCO Fox and WMD

The challengers could make for a fun odd couple tandem, or this could be the beginning of a feud between the two, should they not win the titles. This is a pretty hard match to call on, though I'm going to play safe and say the champs retain.

El Scorcho vs Alexia Dynamite

Another even match-up, as both have a good case for being given the first title shot of the year....I actually like the idea of the partner vs partner match happening first, and for the heel to be left frustrated.....this could eventually boil up nicely to a full blown three way feud.

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

King and Patel may be two thirds of a champion team, but they are two thirds of a champion team holding the throwaway jobber belts. Westminster and the Highwayman already feel like their a bit more important, considering on the two shows they've featured their matches have been more higher profile.

Meido Machine vs Scott Bingington

Meido looked impressive in defeat on the last show, and Bingington is only the other third of the current jobber belts trio.

Sky Panther and The Secret Service vs Terror Rising (Dread Nocturn, Frightening, and Scaremare)

I'll go for the faces to win here, because you'll want the champion to look strong. Terror Rising already look a threat- this is just Panther and Secret Service getting their win back, to keep this an even feud.

Yeah I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the Trios Championship to be honest.

The first problem is that in order to have a real division you need to have enough teams to be able to compete on a regular basis, and with as small a company as POW that will be difficult; especially with a strong face/heel divide. The second problem with trios matches is that from a game play perspective they tend to have lower rated matches because they don't get bonus from experience like tags, but I'm not too worried about number crunching or maximizing my rating for this diary, so this isn't as big a deal.

I may end up ripping off Chikara and having the trios belt be a yearly tournament title.

Really enjoying this so far.

Discotheque vs DISCO Fox and WMD

Think the odd couple team have got some mileage in them

El Scorcho vs Alexia Dynamite

I think you're building to El Scorcho vs Sky Panther for the title

Darius King and Freshman Patel vs Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman

Even the feud up

Meido Machine vs Scott Bingington

Seems quite talented, a push would make sense

Sky Panther and The Secret Service vs Terror Rising (Dread Nocturn, Frightening, and Scaremare)

Panther is the champion, plus The Secret Service need revenge!

Sky Panther and The Secret Service entered the ring first and looked eager to get their hands on Terror Rising, but the terrifying trio was in no hurry to get in the ring and looked to slow down the match by conferring outside the ring. They didn't get the chance however, as the fired up heroes hit synchronized dives onto the huddled villains.

The fired up heroes have control for most of the early portion of the match, but some cheap shots and dirty tricks on the outside let the dastardly trio back into the match.

After about ten minutes of fast paced high flying action between the two trios Sky Panther finds himself alone inside the ring with Dread Nocturne. Sky Panther nails his opponent with an enzuigiri kick to the head and goes to hit the Panthersault (Moonsault) like he did last month to put away Dread Nocturne, but Frightening pulls down the second rope from the outside causing Sky Panther to slip through the ropes and crash to the floor.

Oliver Owens the 7th gets in the ring as Dread Nocturne groggily gets to his feet. Owens catches his opponent form behind and dumps him backwards onto his head with a License to Kill (Dragon Suplex Hold). The referee starts the three count, but Frightening and Scaremare break up the pin.

Frightening and Scaremare unload on Oliver Owens the 7th with a series of kicks culminating with the PANIC Attack (Big Boot/Enzuigiri combo). Scaremare goes for the pin on Owens, but this time it's The Master of Disguise who makes in into the ring to break up the pin.

The Master of Disguise unloads on the Dreamscape duo with some fast paced lucha offense, but the numbers games soon catches up to him as the duo are able to cut him off and stomp him down two on one. Scaremare gets onto the apron as Frightening lifts up the Master of Disguise to set him up for the Black-Out (STO/Springboard Dropkick Combo), but The Master of Disguise manages to kick the rope as Scaremare leaps onto it causing him to crotch himself and reverses Frightening's STO attempt to send him head over heels with the Reversal of Fortune (C4).

With Frightening prone in the center of the ring, the Master of Disguise climbed to the top of the turnbuckle to finish the match, but Dread Nocturne cut him off at the top of the turnbuckle. The Master of Disguise tried to fight Dread Nocturne off, but a series of vicious knees by Nocturne had him dazed. Dread Nocturne lifted The Master of Disguise into the air and then dropped him head first on the mat with a devastating Avalanche Lights Out (Avalanche Brain Buster).

Dread Nocturne went for the cover, but this time it was Sky Panther back in the ring to break it up. Sky Panther unloaded on Nocturne with a series of puches and kicks that sent Nocturne reeling. Nocturne whipped him into the ropes, but Sky Panther responded with a springboard crossbody which almost got a three count, but Nocturne managed to kick out at the last second.

Sky Panther signaled to the crowd that he was going for the Panthersault to finish off his opponent, but saw Scaremare on his feet on the outside and instead nailed him with a suicide dive. Frightening moved in to sneak attack Sky Panther on the outside, but was met with a Panther Kick (Superkick).

Dread Nocturne was back on his feet and tried to cut off Sky Panther as he re-entered the ring, but Sky Panther ducked and headbutted his charging opponent in the chest. Sky Panther followed it up and leaped over Dread Nocturne going for a Sunset Flip, but Nocturne grabbed onto the ropes and reversed the momentum into a pinning maneuver! The referee counted One...Two..Dread Nocturne grabbed hold of the ropes for leverage...Three.

Dread Nocturne quickly ducked out of the ring as Sky Panther looked upset at his illegal tactics, but the referee didn't see it and so Dread Nocturne had scored a pinfall over the Grand Champion.

Meido Machine

"Thank you Debbie-Chan, but there is no need for false praise. Last month I lost against El Scorcho and he pinned me."

"Yes, but you almost beat El Scorcho. I don't think many people thought you stood a chance against someone like him."

"So you don't think I'm good enough to beat someone like El Scorcho? You think that I should be happy to just be in the same ring as him?"

"No, that's not-"

"You know what? You're right. I had a chance to prove that I was good enough to earn Scorcho-San's respect and I failed, but I'm not going to let it happen again. I'm going to go out there and prove to you and everyone else that I have what it takes!"

Meido Machine stormed out of camera shot before Debbie Monroe could give a response.

Tonight's shaping up to to be a great one. Meido Machine seems to have taken on a new attitude and earlier in the night we saw Dread Nocturne pin the Grand Champion in a trios match.

"Arrr...In my opinion Dread Nocturne may just be the future Grand Champion."

"Pinning the champion does have to put you in line for a title shot, even if he used illegal tactics to do so."

"Yarr, it isn't illegal if the referee doesn't see it."

"Well either way up next we'll see the Frat Pack trying to get revenge on the duo that beat them two months ago; Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II and the Highwayman."

This mixed weight tag match began with the lighter members of both teams, "The Aviator" and Freshman Patel, in the ring against one another. The match was pretty even for most of the match with The Frat Pack having the team experience, but the cunning heels using every opportunity to cheat their way to an advantage.

The end came when Freshmen Patel had taken down Westminster with a leg lariat and went for a College Dropout (Springboard Leg Drop), but The Highwayman illegally entered the match and leveled him with a Stand and Deliver (Lariat). He didn't get a chance to celebrate however as Darius King dropped him with a Blitz (Spear), but Westminster dumped the football star over the top rope and nailed the rising Patel with the Bombing Run (Tornado DDT). Westminster then covered Patel for the clean one, two, three.

Dread Nocturne

"Tonight is but a taste of what is to come. Your so called Grand Champion, Sky Panther, was no match for the power of Terror Rising and he was defeated soundly. Sky Panther may be in denial about his fears, but next month at the Chaos Tournament his nightmares will come true when he faces me for the Grand Title. As for the tournament, well...I have confidence in my compatriots. In one month the Reign of Darkness will begin!"

El Scorcho, you may be able to beat hillbillies and men in dresses, but you've never beaten me and tnoight will be no different. As for you Sky Panther, well you may have gotten a fluke victory two months ago, but after I beat your friend tonight I'm coming back to reclaim my Grand Championship!"

Scott Bingington began the match by mocking his opponent's strange outfit, but Meido was in no laughing mood and quickly when right after Bingington and locked up with him.

Meido wasn't doing any of his typical posing or antics; he was focused only on locking in as many painful maneuvers as he could on his opponent and winning the match. Scott Bingington got some occasional bursts of offense, but each time Meido would cut him off with his superior technical wrestling and it wasn't long before he locked in the Nyan Lock (Key Lock) and gave the frat boy no choice but to tap out.

"Anyway up next we have our semi-main event. A huge matchup between two individuals who want a shot at the grand title; El Scorcho and Alexia Dynamite, but first we have an interview with El Scorcho."

A pretaped interview with El Scorcho is played.

El Scorcho

"I respect the abilities of my opponent tonight, but in order to get a shot at the Grand title I must defeat her. I have wrestled Pythons in the Amazon, Fought Grizzleys in the Forests, and held staring contests with sloths in the Zoo all in order to prepare myself to go for the Grand Championship. You are a former champion and a worthy opponent Alexia Dynamite, but you see I have come too far to lose tonight."

Rating: 49 (D+)

The match between these two begins slow, but quickly heats up with fast paced lucha style action. Alexia Dynamite's gameplan seems to be to ground the high flier with her technical skills, but El Scorcho is no slouch when it comes to chain wrestling and is able to surprise his opponent with some counterholds of his own. For his part El Scorcho's goal seems to be to up the pace of the match and turn the match into an aerial battle, but while Alexia might not be as flashy a flier as El Scorcho she has some skills of her own and most of the match is an even back and forth contest.

Alexia seems to have El Scorcho worn down with her punishing technical holds late in the match, but El Scorcho finds a second win and escapes her clutches before leveling her with a dropkick. The Masked Man is feeling it as the crowd cheers him on as he clasps his hands together and shouts "Bullet Time!" Everyone in the ring slows down letting El Scorcho dodge Alexia Dynamite's attacks before unloading on her with a barrage of slow motion kicks and punches. EL Scorcho looks to put away Alexia Dynamite with the Blinding Kung Fu Rush (Series of normal speed kicks and punches to a slow motion opponent), but the onslaught knocks Dynamite out of the ring.

Everything returns to normal speed as El Scorcho gets the crowd going. He waits until Dynamite rises off the floor before diving over the ropes with a Plancha to the outside, but Dynamite sidesteps the aerial attack leaving El Scorcho to crash and burn on the floor.

Alexia Dynamite takes full advantage of her opportunity as she stomps on her downed opponent before dragging him over to the outside corner of the ring. She wraps El Scorcho's arm around the ring post and pulls viciously to her opponents distress. She releases the hold before the referee counts to five, but the damage had been done to the right arm of El Scorcho.

Alexia Dynamite rolls her opponent into the ring before climbing up onto the apron. She waits for El Scorcho to get to his feet before leaping over the rope to hit a slingshot arm breaker on her opponent; further damaging the arm and causing El Scorcho to roll on the floor in agony. Alexia Dynamite signals that she's going for Dynamite Lock (Twisting Armbar), however she spends too much time gloating and El Scorcho counters her hold into a small package. The referee goes for the count and nearly gets to three, but Dynamite manages to kick out at the last second.

Alexia Dynamite goes for another double knee arm-breaker on El Scorcho, but the martial arts master grabs hold of the ropes to avoid being pulled down and counters with a spin kick that sends her to the mat.

Seeing his opportunity El Scorcho climbs up to the top turnbuckle. As soon as Alexia Dynamite gets to her feet she gets drilled by El Scorcho's Kung Fu Kick (Diving Thrust Kick). Instead of going for a cover El Scorcho signals to the crowd he's about to end the match and sets up in the corner for the Scorch Kick (Superkick).

However before Alexia Dynamite can get up from the mat, Meido Machine makes his way to the ring and climbs onto the apron trying to get El Scorcho's attention. El Scorcho looks bewildered by the appearance of the man in the maid's outfit as Meido seems to be asking him to give him another chance to prove himself worthy of being his partner.

Suddenly El Scorcho finds himself on his back as Alexia Dynamite takes advantage of the distraction to roll him up with a craddle pin. The referees hand hits the mat three times and the match is all over.

Alexia Dynamite got out of the ring quickly after being declared the victory, leaving El Scorcho alone in the ring. El Scorcho got up onto his knees and seemed to be in shock that he had been beaten. Meido Machine entered the ring and tried to apologize to El Scorcho, but El Scorcho was in no mood to hear it. El Scorcho got to his feet and looked like he wanted to hit Meido, but instead exited the ring without giving Meido a second glance.

Announcer "The Chef" Chet Rio alongside "Buccaneer" Jack Robin

"El Scorcho has made it clear that he's wanted a shot at his partner's Grand Title for some time now, so that loss has to be a hard one for him."

"Yarr! That's what ye get when ye take yer eye off the ball. El Scorcho had his chance and let himself get distracted."

"Well Meido seemed to still want to become El Scorcho's tag team partner, but what he did was cost him the match."

"Arr, that matey be crazier than a shark swimming on land."

"You might be right, but right now we have a huge match ahead of us. WMD and DISCO Fox have teamed up to get a shot at Discotheque's tag team titles."

DISCO Fox starts the match against Donny Chic and after about a minute of chain wrestling the two find themselves even as the lights dim and familiar disco music begins playing. DISCO Fox and Donny Chic each take turns breaking out funky moves in an attempt to upstage each other, but are once again at a stale mate. KC "Superfly" Summers enters the ring and shows off his Disco skills as the crowd claps along to the beat. WMD enters the ring and the crowd cheer in anticipation of the giant woman dancing to the music, but she instead brings the party to a halt with a big double clothesline on the Discotheque duo.

The match has an odd dynamic in that whenever WMD is in the match she uses her power to toss around her opponents, but when DISCO Fox is in it turns into a fast paced high flying match. Discotheque have a big experience edge, but WMD has the size and power and DISCO Fox has some unbelievable agility and high flying moves at his disposal. WMD seems annoyed by her partners refusal to play dirty, but she makes up for this by taking every chance she has to get in a cheap shot or illegal hold.

After about ten minutes of action WMD finds herself in the ring with Donny Chic. Donny Chic has her staggered with a pair of dropkicks and tries to whip WMD into the corner, but the powerful woman refuses to go and instead whips Donny Chic right into referee Tiny Jackson who is knocked to the ground like any good referee despite being twice the size of Chic.

With the referee down WMD takes the opportunity to knock Summers off the apron before rolling out of the ring. WMD walks down ringside and barks at a fan to get up before grabbing the chair out from under the terrified man. She grabs the folding chair and climbs up onto the apron, but DISCO Fox blocks her from entering the ring and tells WMD to drop the chair. WMD looks furious at her partner's interference and barks at him to get out of the way, but this distraction gives Discotheque time to recover.

DISCO Fox turns and immediately sees Summers and Chic going to nail him with The Parties Over (Double Superkick), but the agile DISCO Fox just manages to dive out of the way. WMD is not so lucky as the impact of the double superkick sends the chair right into her head and knocks her to the floor.

With WMD out of the picture Discotheque sees their chance and grab Disco Fox to go for a double team move, but DISCO Fox twists and counters in mid-air to hit a DDT/Hurricanrana combination move to Summers and Chic respectively.

With Summers prone on the mat DISCO Fox sees his opportunity and climbs up to the top rope to for the DISCO Drop (450 Splash), but Donny Chic recovers in time to cut him off at the top of the turnbuckle.

DISCO Fox fights back against Donny Chic in the corner and looks like he's getting the best of the exchange, but KC Summers arrives to help his partner and the two on one advantage gives them the edge. Soon all three men are standing dangerously at the top of the turnbuckle. Discotheque grab hold of DISCO Fox on either side and leap backwards with their opponent between them and hit the Retro Fly (Spanish Fly). With the referee back on his feet this allows KC Summers to pin DISCO Fox for the one, two, three.

Donny Chic and [W]KC Summers defeat [L]Disco Fox and WMD via pinfall in 14:23 to retain the POW Tag Team Titles.

Booker's notes:

- I thought the six man opener was a very good match. I wasn't sure how it would go over with the crowd since Sky Panther is the only real headlining name in the match, but all six men delivered a great fast paced match that the crowd got into.

- Having the Champion being pinned in the six man surprised some people, but it gives Dread Nocturne a legitimate claim to a title shot. Dread Nocturne had a pretty good promo later on in the night as well.

- The tag match between The Frat Pack, Geoffrey C. Westminster, and myself was mediocre at best. Most of the crowd didn't really care about the Frat Pack, or anyone in the match really. The action in the match itself wasn't good enough to elevate the match; which isn't really a surprise.

- The match between Meido Machine and Scott Bingington was basically a squash. It wasn't by any means a good match, but Meido Machine seems to be getting over with the crowd and will likely see himself elevated into a higher profile position soon.

- El Scorcho and Alexia Dynamite put on a very good singles match. The crowd was pretty into this match. El Scorcho really knows how to get the crowd on his side and Alexia Dynamite knows how to get the crowd to boo her.

- For the second show in a row El Scorcho was in the match of the night, as well as the best angle of the night. He's certainly been helped by being put in with good opponents, but his future looks bright.

-The Tag Team Title Main Event Match was a bit of a let down. The odd pairing of WMD and DISCO Fox seemed to distract from the match more than help it. In addition I had told the wrestlers to try to work a fast paced match, but that might have been a mistake. DISCO Fox and Donny Chic's high flying style transitioned well into a fast paced match, but KC Summers frankly doesn't have a large variety of moves he's practiced with and as a result his offense was a bit repetitive. WMD on the other hand has plenty of skills at her disposable, but just didn't look comfortable working the fast paced match and made some uncharacteristic mistakes.

The show as a whole was rather mediocre. I feel that it did a good job further establishing characters and storylines, so in the long term putting new less established talent into high profile feuds and matches should pay off. I just hope it starts paying off soon or I may not be around to see it.

Financially the first three months have been a success as we've made a profit and have seen an increase in attendance. However, It's unlikely that the profit from the first three months will be enough to cover the costs of running two shows in April. Convincing Tiny Jackson that the two day Chaos Tournament was a good idea wasn't easy, but I have confidence that it will be a success. Though perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I need it to be a success.
