D-Lyrium
What's the difference between professional wrestling and amateur boxing? Sometimes, in pro wrestling, the results aren't scripted.

20LEgend
Doug Stanhope talks about olympics. Totally agree with him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-FUu3nyAVU Stanhope's piece on National Pride sums up my view on the Olympics. I think whoever wins deserves to win so well done to them. But I have no preference to someone because they happen to be born on the bit of Earth that I also happened to be born on, that doesn't make sense to me. Whoever wins deserved it, but I won't be trying to share in their achievement if they happen to be part of "Team GB". Even from a practical point I think it's better to be a neutral and just enjoy it, something I can't do because the coverage in the media annoys me so much
Blackman
I watch mainly because of the emotions that get displayed. For that, it doesn't matter at all what etnicity or nationality they have. However, I do find myself supporting the home team as much as possible, and am happy if they do win something. But I think you can have this positive discrimination as long as it's not paired with negativity towards the other countries (what you sometimes see in sports -cough- *UFC*, luckily not so far during the Olympics). The results don't say anything about a country though. It says something about the training methods used and the individual ability. Sure, countries can scout for talent and offer them money to give them more time to practice, but a country shouldn't "suck" because they don't win medals. Blackman
Wow, just saw a 5 point throw in wrestling at the olympics. Not an everyday occurance to say the least. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
