Yeah there's no way to get a mask like that *in* DAZ (at least from my simple mask building skills). You'd have to do a lot of "post production" work in Photoshop or be very skilled in bump and displacement layers. Not to mention, you'd need a big and really clean image of the mask.

You could probably draw something onto a mask color layer to resemble what you've got but I don't know how to get the ears to stick up past the mask or the nose to point down, overlapping it. Again, I think that would all have to be done in Photoshop. The couple I've tried by trying to blend the image onto a mask prop didn't look good at all.

I did a couple of new renders from what I already had. But for something more elaborate you'll probably have to go to one of the guys like Jtlant or J Silver who are really excellent at masked renders.

No problem. I thought it wouldn't be easy to create a mask like that one, just giving a suggestion. Thank you for your explanation.

I like this render more with long hair and especially with the half mask, when you added a little fur on the chin. Nice touch.

Nice twist on The Architect, no smiling. Less comedy, more bone snapping.

Thank you and thanks for the suggestions. It got me looking at it differently and allowed me to create that half mask version which I think is much better. Masks are my weakness, it seems, but I've found that line art with the displacement works for simpler stuff I want to do. I haven't yet figured out how to do things like ears or layers hanging off the mask.

The fur was the Anton's Fantasy Beard/Hair and I made everything hidden except for the sideburns :)

Yeah I always think of Architect like an evil genius, weasel type.

If you ever feel like experimenting with masks again, I'd love to see your take on Enygma.

That would be awesome -- [shipshirt] you are my favorite render artist on the board, each render you do has a unique feel to it, and the wrestlers you "create" feel from the same universe

Personally, I love the abstract take on the Fox Mask -- I would [wait with baited breath] for a similar take on, say, Masked Cougar or Snap Dragon.

Renders of The Specialists; Bobby Thomas and Nate Johnson in a similar style would be awesome. The current Nate Johnson look a little to average for my taste.

Made a 'JSilver Version' of Nate Johnson to match his Bobby Thomas for my NOTBPW vs CGC diary if it's any good to you?

Oh wow thanks guys. I do have some free time today so maybe I'll give some of of those a go. I fear a Masked Cougar by me may look almost identical to Fox Mask but the others may be different enough to have a unique look.

I like it. That one looks more natural next to Bobby Thomas.

That Enygma is just outstanding. Snap Dragon is fun too and replacing the one I have been using, but man, that Enygma just exceeded every expectation I had. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you.

Thanks for the kind words!

The green on that Enygma fella is awesome! :D Snap Dragon looks like HE hates the mask, but I like it :)

I was trying for an intense look but did it come off pouty? Sometimes the mask can obscure certain aspects of an expression and alter it some. Also I have his head bowed and him looking up at the camera. I'll try a different expression

Enygma is the next Wrestlebot 9000, I like this.

It seems Snap Dragon mask design is a little off centered, drifting to the left side. Otherwise, good work.

Any chance of having him without hat?

Sure i had two renders for him, since the WMMA uses both face and body pictures.

That Enygma is amazing. Do you happen to have any other colours? I love an Imposter Enygma storyline.

I didn't still have the design but I just went into photoshop and desaturated the green on the image and turned up the hue and got a purple, so you can always try that if you ever want a different color.

Good catch. I think that was it. I also turned him a but so you can make out the raised nature of the design more.

I love both of those renders... especially The Enygma. For such a major player, he only had one re-render to choose from, and that limits your options on how to portray him.

Um.. I know this is asking a lot, but do you have/did you save an unmasked version of your Enygma?

I'd use it personally in UPSW Diary. I can't speak for everyone, but I unmask Enygma early on when I'm trying to keep USPW at National in personal games, as an unmasking helps boost lagging match ratings/skyrockets his momentum.

If you don't, and others are interested, I can "piece together" an unmasked alt using FaceGen Modeller 3.5 (Free) and using J-Silvers' (?) unmasked Enygma as a guide.
