Jayson Van Pelt vs. Evil Spirit

Evil Spirit was again doing his usual stalling plus mind games paly but Van Pelt had none of it and eventually managed to put Spirit down via Axe Kick.

WINNER: Jayson Van Pelt by pinfall in 7:48 E

ANGLE:

http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6573/daviswaynenewton2.jpghttp://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3930/jaysonvanpelthhj.jpg

DWN has seemingly made a habit to mock his next opponent and this time is no different as he comes from backstage right after the match and mockingly congratulates Van Pelt for the victory but also declares that there will be no victory for Van Pelt next month. E+

1 vs. 1

http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/4683/antmanz.jpg vs. http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/2516/paranoiay.jpg

Ant-Man vs. Paranoia

Paranoia tries bravely to go toe-to-toe with Ant-Man but that proves to be a bad tactic as Ant-Man proves just too strong for Paranoia and Antidote seals the victory for Ant-Man.

WINNER: Ant-Man by pinfall in 4:44 E-

ANGLE:

http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/4683/antmanz.jpghttp://img571.imageshack.us/img571/8885/regularjoe.jpg

After the match Ant-Man takes time to run his mouth telling audience that the only reason he isn´t in the next month´s title match is because that idiot Regular Joe who clearly is jealous to Ant-Man and because of that he cost Ant-Man the King of the Network title. This draws Joe from the back who states that as far as he remembers it was Ant-Man who got pinned and so it was him who cost Joe the change to win the King of the Network title. The pair starts a heated argument and during the argument Joe challenges Ant-Man to singles match next month and Ant-Man accepts the challenge. Eventually officials have to come into the ring and stop the argument so that the show can continue. E

http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6958/remmyhoneyman.jpg /w. http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/673/rogerrogers.jpg vs. http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1629/benwilliamsalt3.jpg

Remmy Honeyman /w. Roger Rogers vs. Cowboy Ben Williams

Remmy looked pretty calm and concentrated in this one and he was clearly listening the advices he got from Rogers during the match. That seemed to work well too as he managed to pick to victory via Flying Legdrop around six-minutes mark.

WINNER: Remmy Honeyman by pinfall in 5:53 E

2 vs. 2

http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/2306/brendanidol.jpg & http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7710/kcglenn.jpg vs. http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3696/cerberusx.jpg & http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/5565/outlawwesrevell.jpg

Brendal Idol & KC Glenn vs. Cerberus & Outlaw Wes Revell

This was a pretty even battle for most of the match but eventually Idol and Glenn got small advantage and it was Glenn who made the final pin on Cerberus after he hit him with Tune Up The Sunshine Band.

WINNERS: Brendal Idol & KC Glenn by pinfall in 10:30 E+

1 vs. 1

http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2738/joshjones.jpg vs. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6573/daviswaynenewton2.jpg

Josh Jones vs. Davis Wayne Newton

This was pretty similar match than last month´s main event. Jones, like Remmy before him tried hard and managed to get close to victory on few occasions but eventually it was Newton who left the ring victorious after Fisherman´s Suplex claimed another victim.

WINNER: Davis Wayne Newton by pinfall in 9:36 D

Show Rating: E+

Comments: Not much to say about the show as it was mostly filler show to begin with. Main event was good and other matches where mostly average. Like I said after last show, There´s very few combinations that could be expected to pick better than E+ rating and most of them include DWN since he´s pretty much the only heel with good in-ring skills right now. Of course like I have said before I need to wait little while before I can fix that situation as it´s too early to turn/hire anyone. On backstage news Ant-man has dropped to midcard on of course he saw fit to whine about that, so I pushed him to upper midcard. Williams was unhappy about the loss again. All that whining combined with poor stamina are digging grave for Williams which is little bit shame as I really like his tag team with Revell. I´m still not sure whatever to keep him at the end of the year when everyone´s contracts are up but he certainly isn´t safe.

Predictions:Not the hardest of round appearantly with four perfect scores this time around. Like some of you commented I pretty much picked more talented guys to win this time around. This is mainly because better in-ring skills translate to better matches and thus more overness gains which just make them more easy to push (I might add that I have lots of troubles gaining overness so far in this game since the domination note that I used in 2010 just doesn´t work anymore). That´s actually pretty much my reasoning this time around, every match on this card could be summed on these same words: "The guy with bigger push got a win."

This round:

Occasional_Z 5/5

BHK1978 5/5

TakerNGN74 5/5

Charasmatic Enigma 5/5

Boltinho 4/5

Jingo 2/5 (you forgot to bolt anyone on the last match and though I assume from your comment that you meant DWN to win I decided to count it as draw since I did the same with Boltinho in last show)

Overall:

BHK1978 23/33

Jingo 22/37

Occasional_Z 19/25

Tiberious4 14/14

Jaded 11/18

TakerNGN74 11/14

Boltinho 11/19

Charasmatic Enigma 11/14

kanegan 4/5

Belton 4/5

BYU 14 2/4

This month´s main event is title match between champion Davis Wayne Newton and his number one challenger Jayson Van Pelt. Can Van Pelt the reign of arrogant DWN or will he become just another name on the long list of guys that Newton has defeated on his way to top? Another feud is also boiling this month as Regular Joe and Ant-Man finally meat each other´s in singles match. Which man is able to get an important victory over his recent rival? In our other matches Modern Day Outlaws will face the team of Brendal Idol and Josh Jones, Paranoia and Evil Spirit will face each other´s in singles action while Mad Dog Mortimer has the unpleasant task of facing Cerberus in one-on-one match.

Predictions:

2 vs. 2

Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell) vs. Brendal Idol & Josh Jones

1 vs. 1

Paranoia vs. Evil Spirit

1 vs. 1

Cerberus vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

1 vs. 1

Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

1 vs. 1 for King of the Network title

Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

Ant-Man is just a better prospect.

1 vs. 1 for King of the Network title

Thanks for the tip Jingo. I did go to alt thread and got two of those Cerberus alts alongside few others (That Voodoo Prince DuBois alt is a real killer, I almost hope I would have that no-good backstage cancer just so that I could use that alt. :o) Not sure if I will be using those Cerberus alts in this diary but they certainly give me more options for him and that´s always a good thing. By to way staying in subject of alts it´s pretty interesting how much a good alt picture can change my view to some guys, I hated Cerberus back in TEW2010 but I really like his new alt and he´s instantly more pushable to me. :o

2 vs. 2

Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell) vs. Brendal Idol & Josh Jones

You always say that when in doubt you go with the named team. For this match I am not so sure if I should follow that rule because I think Brendan and Josh are the better team. However, I think I will go against my gut and pick the MDO to win.

1 vs. 1

Paranoia vs. Evil Spirit

Well both are really bad, but I think ES is less bad.

1 vs. 1

Cerberus vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

I would love to see MDM pick up the win here but I do not think it will happen.

1 vs. 1

Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

1 vs. 1 for King of the Network title

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Jayson Van Pelt

I like JVP but not enough to think he will win this match.

2 vs. 2

Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell) vs. Brendal Idol & Josh Jones

While I would usually back the established team, Brendan Idol is one of your top guys so should get the win here.

1 vs. 1

Paranoia vs. Evil Spirit

Evil Spirit has more talent, even if he is a pain backstage.

1 vs. 1

Cerberus vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

Younger talent to go over here I think.

1 vs. 1

Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

Two people I liked to use in 10. Ant Man always proved to have more upside in 10, so I'll assume that still holds in the new game.

1 vs. 1 for King of the Network title

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Jayson Van Pelt

I like JVP, but unless DWN has been stolen away it's not time to move the belt yet.

Dark Matches:

Three way

KC Glenn vs. Zachary Inc vs. Remmy Honeyman /w. Roger Rogers

WINNER: KC Glenn by pinfall in 6:21 D-

ESE Eternal Battle

Ohio Jewish Center (Great Lakes)

Attendance: 73

2 vs. 2

http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1629/benwilliamsalt3.jpg & http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/5565/outlawwesrevell.jpg vs. http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/2306/brendanidol.jpg & http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2738/joshjones.jpg

Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell) vs. Brendal Idol & Josh Jones

Modern Day Outlaws had slight advantage in team work on this one but sadly for them that wasn´t quite enough as Idol managed to pin Revell after Idolizer.

WINNERS: Brendal Idol & Josh Jones by pinfall in 7:36 E

1 vs. 1

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/2516/paranoiay.jpg vs. http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/4003/evilspirit.jpg

Paranoia vs. Evil Spirit

Paranoia showed good fighting spirit once again but like previously it wasn´t enough for the win as Evil Spirit took this one via Death Calm Drop II.

WINNER: Evil Spirit by pinfall in 7:21 F+

1 vs. 1

http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3696/cerberusx.jpg vs. http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/3851/maddogmortimer.jpg

Cerberus vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

Cerberus was on a bad mood (even worse than normal) and Mortimer was on the wrong end of that anger and he did receive quite a beating before Cerberus ended this via DDT.

WINNER: Cerberus by pinfall in 4:40 F+

ANGLE:

http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3696/cerberusx.jpghttp://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7710/kcglenn.jpg

After the match Cerberus takes a microphone and states that Glenn haven´t apparently yet learned his lesson. He proceeds to tell Glenn that he tried to be a nice guy and even forgive Glenn for beating him in tag match two months ago but instead of learning Glenn had to do it again last month and NO ONE makes Cerberus look like a fool. He then challenges Glenn to another singles match so that he could teach Glenn some respect. Glenn comes from backstage and accepts the challenge saying that beating Cerberus will never grew old to him. E-

1 vs. 1

http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/8885/regularjoe.jpg vs. http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/4683/antmanz.jpg

Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

Ant-Man again is quite reckless with his offence and though he manages to keep the upper hand for most of the match he eventually lets himself open to counter attack and Joe doesn´t leave the opportunities unused and at the end one of those opportunities converts to a victory when he connects with Joe and Behold.

WINNER: Regular Joe by pinfall in 11:56 E+

1 vs. 1 for King of the Network title

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7738/esekingofthenetwork.jpg

http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6573/daviswaynenewton2.jpg vs. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3930/jaysonvanpelthhj.jpg

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Jayson Van Pelt

Van Pelt is determinate to prove that he belongs in the main event and he does make a good showing for himself. However Newton shows once again that he can back-up his arrogant behavior with his skills and manage to weather the storm and even capture a victory at the end even if that comes via low blow followed by Fisherman´s Suplex.

WINNER: Davis Wayne Newton by pinfall in 11:51 D

Show Rating: E+

Comments: Great main event but most of the other matches were well not so great but that´s pretty much expected from now. Still solid show overall. On other news Ant-Man and Mad Dog Mortimer have become pretty good friends. Seems that my backstage is good place to be as this is 4th positive relationship since the game started. On news elsewhere, TCW got back to national but they seemed to be happy with their current roster since they only signed Jessie to contract (she was let go by SWF some time ago). Another former SWF employee Enforcer Roberts founded Lethal Ring, Brendal Idol was one of Lethal Ring´s initial signings. They certainly have interesting roster with guys like Kid Toma, Sensational Singh and Rudy Velasquez in there but I´m little skeptical about their finances since they are still local promotion. One interesting thing that happened this month was that SWF signed Wolf Hawkins to written deal. Quite a steal there and interesting to see how he will do in SWF.

Predictions:Charasmatic Enigma got the best score this time around and as a result he improved his position in prediction contest. Overall the round was quite hard mainly thanks to two matches. The main stumbling point was Ant-Man vs. Regular Joe were wveryone picked Ant-Man to win. To be honest that match was a coin flip to me but I picked Joe to win partly because he was more over at that time and partly because that´s how I have planned this particular storyline to go. The opening tag match was another hard one as like BHK1978 mentioned I usually go with named team over random pairing when I predict myself. I´m not exactly happy about the way I´m using Modern Day Outlaws right now as they are collecting too many losses to random pairings but since I´m still in the early state, I need to establish my top guys first and Ben and Wes aren´t top guys by any means (sorry Jingo.

:o) so as a result they will mostly be on losing side. Also I don´t yet have real tag division and there´s only so many times I could run Outlaws versus Blue Collars so in order for those teams to gather tag experience they need to be put into matches against random pairings a lot more than I would usually do if I had a healty tag division. Rest of the matches were lot more straight forward affairs. It was too early for DWN to drop the title and Spirit vs. Paranoia and Cerberus vs. Morty were both midcarder over jobber cases.

This round:

Charasmatic Enigma 4/5

BHK1978 3/5

This month´s main event sees KC Glenn and Cerberus clashing with each other´s once again. These two have one win each against each other´s but which wrestler can claim victory this time? In our semi-main event King of the Network champion Davis Wayne Newton will team up with Evil Spirit against Blue Collars. Can Joe and Jones pick up a victory over the champ with their teamwork or will DWN continue his winning ways? Jayson Van Pelt looks to set himself back into right track after losing his title match last month by facing Zachary Inc in singles action. Brendal Idol and Remmy Honeyman will also face each other´s in singles action while Modern Day Outlaws will face a team of Mad Dog Mortimer and Paranoia.

Predictions:

JVP has way more upside.

2 vs. 2

Paranoia & Mad Dog Mortimer vs. Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell)

Well after reading what you said about them I am not sure if MDO has what it takes to win any matches. That being said Paranoia has next to no popularity in the U.S. so I shall take the chance and go with MDO.

2 vs. 2

Davis Wayne Newton & Evil Spirit vs. Blue Collars (Regular Joe & Josh Jones)

I am not sure about this one, DWN is good but is he good enough to carry Evil Spirit to victory?

Sunday week 2

ESE Eternal Battle

Ohio Jewish Center (Great Lakes)

Attendance: 74

ANGLE:

http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6573/daviswaynenewton2.jpg

Show starts with DWN coming into ring and declaring with his usual arrogant manner that he has taken notice that Regular Joe and Ant-Man have both claimed that they cost each other´s an opportunity to be King of the Network champion. He claims that it´s ridiculous accusation for either man to make because neither of them isn´t nearly good enough to beat him and that he will prove that to both of them. Because of this there will be three way match in next show where he, Joe and Ant-Man will face each other´s with the title on the line. E+

1 vs. 1

http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/2306/brendanidol.jpg vs. http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6958/remmyhoneyman.jpg /w. http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/673/rogerrogers.jpg

Brendal Idol vs. Remmy Honeyman /w. Roger Rogers

Idol and Remmy put-up a good show here but in the end only one could be the winner and this time it was Idol who managed to pin Remmy for a three count after connecting with Idolizer.

WINNER: Brendal Idol by pinfall in 8:10 E

1 vs. 1

http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/267/zacharyinc.jpg vs. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3930/jaysonvanpelthhj.jpg

Zachary Inc vs. Jayson Van Pelt

Zachary Inc chose the wrong night to face Van Pelt who was clearly frustrated and did quick work on Zachary before finishing him with Axe Kick.

WINNER: Jayson Van Pelt by pinfall in 4:55 E-

ANGLE:

http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3930/jaysonvanpelthhj.jpg

After the match Van Pelt challenges DWN again claiming that if DWN is as good as he says he should be able to beat him clean. E+

2 vs. 2

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/2516/paranoiay.jpg & http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/3851/maddogmortimer.jpg vs. http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1629/benwilliamsalt3.jpg & http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/5565/outlawwesrevell.jpg

Paranoia & Mad Dog Mortimer vs. Modern Day Outlaws (Cowboy Ben Williams & Outlaw Wes Revell)

Pretty even match-up between four guys that are considered as jobbers. Modern Day Outlaws did pick up the win thanks to their slightly better teamwork as Revell is able to pin Mortimer after Release Powerbomb while Ben kept Paranoia from interfering.

WINNERS: Modern Day Outlaws by pinfall in 5:31 E-

2 vs. 2

http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/6573/daviswaynenewton2.jpg & http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/4003/evilspirit.jpg vs. http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/8885/regularjoe.jpg & http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2738/joshjones.jpg

Davis Wayne Newton & Evil Spirit vs. Blue Collars (Regular Joe & Josh Jones)

Blue Collars showed some good teamwork here and actually controlled most of this match despite Spirit´s mind games.

http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/4683/antmanz.jpg

Despite the control, match ends badly for Blue Collars thanks to Ant-Man who distracts Joe allowing DWN and Spirit to double team Josh and win the match with DWN making the final pin.

WINNERS: Davis Wayne Newton & Evil Spirit by pinfall in 9:58 D

1 vs. 1

http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7710/kcglenn.jpg vs. http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3696/cerberusx.jpg

KC Glenn vs. Cerberus

Another heated match between these two guys. This one was mostly uncontrollable brawl and it ended in double DQ too when fight spreading to outside and never coming back forcing Poker to call the bell.

DRAW: by double count out in 8:12 E+

Show Rating: E+

Comments: Decent show, not much to say actually. Newton was awful improvising the promo which is odd since he was pretty good at that pack in January. Guess the results can change from show to show? Cerberus was slightly unhappy about the draw but I felt it was needed so I did go with it anyway. Glenn signed a touring contract with BCG. This is fourth company that signs him to contract this year (CZCW and BHOTWG (tour) being the other ones) so he´s really popular.

Predictions: Everyone got either three or four points on this round and with that draw, four was about maximum that anyone could get. Now the draw was there because I wanted to continue that particular feud a little bit longer even though they already faced each other´s three times during the year. The main reason was that I wanted to wait until next year before making any final decisions about my next feuds. Only other match that caused any troubles was Blue Collars versus DWN and Spirit and for a good reason as once again established tag team took the loss. My main motive was to keep Newton strong and to give some tag experience to Blue Collars. Modern Day Outlaws finally got a win in the main show over pair of jobbers. To be honest right now those two are about the only people Outlaws could hope to beat but I felt that they needed a win to keep them at least slighly relevant. Idol versus Remmy was an attept to give Idol some overness back that he lost when he was defeated by DWN in tournament finals. It´s safe to say that the plan failed as Idol got a whopping one point of overness (from 13 to 14) from that win and Remmy lost five points (from 13 to 8) thanks to the loss... yeah, that one didn´t go as planned. Van Pelt over Zachary was usual main eventer beats jobber kind of match that was just there to give Van Pelt a win.

This month´s main event is a three way match for King of the Network title as Davis Wayne Newton defends his title against both Regular Joe and Ant-Man. Is DWN´s arrogance getting better of him or can he take another victory and back-up his big words? Speaking of words, at the time writing this one DWN haven´t yet answered Jayson Van Pelt´s challenge, will we hear answer in the show or will cocky champion totally ignore his recent challenger? Regardless Jayson Van Pelt is in the action this month as he teams up with Paranoia against Evil Spirit and Zachary Inc. In our other matches KC Glenn is facing Outlaw Wes Revell, Cerberus is going one-on-one against Josh Jones while Cowboy Ben Williams and Remmy Honeyman will also be in singles action against each other´s

Glenn might have won his match but he has another fight on his hands right after that when Cerberus attacks him right after the match ends. Glenn isn´t able to defend himself properly from the surprise attack and is soon beaten down by Cerberus. E+

This was mainly a showcase for Van Pelt but everyone did get some time to show their skills here. Still Van Pelt is the one who made the final pin after hitting Zachery Inc with Axe Kink.

Josh Jones vs. Cerberus

Jones did put-up a good fight against much bigger opponents and managed to keep himself in the game for some time, but eventually Cerberus just overpowered Josh before finishing him off with DDT.

WINNER: Cerberus by pinfall in 5:54 E-

Glenn comes from backstage after the match and despite still clearly feeling the effects of his earlier beatdown he challenges Cerberus to another match next month. However since their last match was called out because of double count out, Glenn suggest that this time they will fight in classic cage match. Cerberus quickly accepts the challenge, stating that in cage Glenn has no-where to run and has to face his doom. E-

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Regular Joe vs. Ant-Man

As usual with three way fights, no-one really had a control on this match as whenever one of the guys were getting the upper hand against someone, the third guy came in and stopped the advantage before any real momentum could be build. Still someone had to win in the end and it was Newton who managed to pin Regular Joe after 12 and half minutes.

WINNER: Davis Wayne Newton by pinfall in 12:24 D

ANGLE:

After the match Newton takes a microphone and informs everyone that this is why he´s the greatest and only champion ESE has. He also tells Van Pelt the he accepts his challenge but that this will be his last chance as he is already tired of beating Van Pelt. D

Show Rating: D-

Comments: Great main event saved the show after semi-main bombed badly. I wasn´t expecting much from it but I was expecting Jones to be able to drag Cerberus in a decent match. Guess this just proves that Jones has been scaled down a little bit and looking back I made a mistake putting it to semi-main event and it should have been clear to me before I booked this. Idol decided that is good idea to spread some rumors about Ben Williams. I gave him a stern warning for his troubles and he answered that he got what I meant. I really hope so too since I need Idol right now and could ill afford to lose him because of backstage troubles. Oh and Idol is now negative backstage influence too, luckily my rating is still 70% but I need to look out for that. Williams was unhappy about the booking again and I don´t really understand why since both have F- in rest of USA and Remmy is more over in my home region. Did Ben land on his head when taking a bump and now somehow thinks that he´s actual star or something? On better news I did raise to small size after this show. Since there is still two shows before I can sign anyone I did momentarily put off the small roster size penalty in order to avoid taking a hit because of it. Also this will mean that all shows from now on will be medium sized and will be 1h 30min long.

Predictions:Charasmatic Enigma, BHK1978, TakerNGN74 and Occasional_Z shared the best score this time around with 4 points each. There was one particular match that proved to be the downfall for most of you and it was Jones versus Cerberus where Cerberus didn´t get much love. Now I do understand why as Cerberus is pretty horrible in-ring but right now he´s the one with storyline going, plus he´s pretty much the only guy on my current roster who could play monster heel and in order to do that he has to go over midcard guy like Jones. And of course there´s pretty much that sad fact that he´s my number three heel currently (it´s a close fight between him and Evil Spirit) and thus needs to stay at least somewhat strong. Other match that caused some problems was Remmy versus Ben. Now Remmy hasn´t been particularly strong so far as he has suffered from the fact that he´s pretty low on pecking order right now but he has been pretty impressive so far and I have plans to make him bigger player than what he is right now. Ben on the other hand is jobber at the moment and that´s unlikely to change even if he seems to think that he should have better position than what he does. Other matches were mostly straight forward cases. DWN got another successful title defence while helping to move the feud between Joe and Ant-Man forward, Van Pelt was the only guy in that tag match who has anything going right now so he´s team picked up a victory because of that while Glenn kept himself strong by beating Revell who at least currently is counted as jobber.

Well the real losers here would be the fans if this was a real life show...
