That's not a bad idea at all. Rather than a Raw/Smackdown 2002 sort of thing, you could do something more similar to the 1998 WCW plan to give Thunder over to the nWo.

This is something I am working on as well; slowly. My hope is to have a rebel movement bubble up on "Underground" and challenge Joseph Sexy's unofficial rule. The group wouldn't be anti-SWF so much but anti-Rich Money/corporate dictatorship.

It's a great way to give some focus to the 'new breed' while creating your own, inner-company, counter-culture.

Has anyone tried switching networks? Was thinking about either USA Sports 1 to get coverage in every area or CBA that is 'Huge' rather than just big.

I switched to USA sports 1, didn't really change too much I feel. It's good that I'm being viewed all over the world even though I'm at National but yeah!

Quick update from me, I'm in 2014 now, just hit the first PPV of the year and it got a B-. I'm kinda disillusioned with not being able to get the right gimmick for my workers and it's affecting my match grades, I changed Christian Faiths too soon, and now he has an E+ gimmick! I gave him a vacation! But yeah, I'm not really feeling it anymore.

You have a screenshot of his skills?

Consistency, stamina and selling are what really keeps him from being a main eventer. I plan to use him as a tag partner and a commissioner type who is on screen often but rarely wrestles.

I have someone like Scythe that I want to bring up; however, would love for him to get some dark match time to develop his skills. That said, to book him against a bunch of over workers in dark time would only stunt his momentum for when I actually WANT to bring him from the dark.</p><p> </p><p>

To have him beat those people though would most likely hurt the backbone wrestlers who are there to help him progress. </p><p> </p><p>

I know I could go with the quintessential 'DQ victory' scenario for the backbone wrestler but you can only do that so many times.</p><p> </p><p>

Pick a new guy each week and bam you can build skill and maybe some overness in each region, and certainly some momentum. Also make a story with one or two of your younger guys and scythe as Major players (you need more than just scythe for the story to start) and then each week add the new guy you're feeding to Scythe as major player, Scythe will look great in his story when you end it and bam more momentum.</p>

<p>Put him in a storyline with the champ and just have him appear as muscle/backup... well, not that Frehley needs it but you get the idea. </p><p> </p><p>

Or... have him in a storyline and appear as some kind of stumbling block for the champ by protecting Money. His momentum and pop would rise pretty quickly if you kept him in angles until he's ready.</p>

I mean, he's a guy in mask that could either have supernatural connotations or just be a psycho in a mask. And you can easily flip it either way in the future. So yeah, you've got him as a monster bodyguard (just checked, his menace is 92) in the background of Rich Money promos and angles. At the same time, he's losing competitive matches in the dark show to round his edges. </p><p> </p><p> Though personally, I'd rather he stick with Vengeance as a mentor/leader than Money, but Money is the better guy to develop him skill-wise, while Vengeance has the theme similarity... Plus you can do hype videos for Vengeance's return where Scythe has a small part and maybe incorporate him into the feud with Captain Atomic. I mean... Scythe is the Grim Reaper's weapon, and that's what Vengeance basically is, no? So... yeah. Plus that's an easy tag-team to put together for a short title run in case you ever need it...</p>

<p>I've had the plan all along to have Scythe work with Vengeance; however, the point for which I wanted that to happen is still far off in the future. It has to come at a specific point and, sadly, we're not there yet.</p><p> </p><p>

That said, I wanted to build up his stats in dark time until then. That way, he may have a better chance of curbing Vengeance's decline (5 years past prime). </p><p> </p><p>

I like the idea of bringing in backbone wrestlers to 'feed' to Scythe. That said, will anyone sign a one appearance contract with the SWF? I'm guessing they'll want longer?</p>

<p>That's true. Bleed it over for longer.</p><p> </p><p>

I remember, in the previous game, wrestlers wouldn't sign such a short contract with the SWF; claiming they could offer them more due to their size. Has that changed? Will they sign a three appearance short-term contract?</p>

Just ran The Supreme Challenge 33 in my game...and boy oh boy am I happy with the results.

Brandon James def. Christian Faith - 74

Chase Agency: 1, Team SWF: 0

The Amazing Bumfholes def. Quadruple B, The Awesomeness & Men of Class (The Fly Boyz) in Ladder match to retain the SWF Tag Team Titles - 66

John Greed def. Steven Parker, Mainstream Hernandez & Matthew Keith to retain the SWF Rising Star title - 57

Underwater Disco def. Paul Huntingdon & R. J. Smooth (Roger Cage) - 74

Team SWF: 1, Chase Agency: 1

Angry Gilmore def. Frederique Antonio Garcia - 73

(Squash)

Marat Khoklov def. Captain Atomic after Brandon James interfered - 73

Eric Eisen def. Jungle Lord after an open challenge - 79

Rogue def. Valiant in a Last Man Standing to retain the North American title - 75

Chase Agency: 2, Team SWF: 1 (Chase Agency are still active/have World Title shots within calendar year)

Remo def. Steve Frehley in an Empty Arena match - 76

Joey Minnesota def. Rich Money - 98!!!

Jack Bruce def. Vengeance to WIN the SWF World Championship - 85

Angry Gilmore attacks Jack Bruce, turning in the process! - 84

Gilmore rips into Bruce - 86

FINAL SHOW RATING: 86!

I knew Minnesota vs Money would deliver...but I didn't know it would deliver that much. It was a huge risk...I entrusted them with calling it and gave it a slow build...and it paid off. If only it was the main event...I'd be International by now -_-

Ah well, Bruce with the title should net some awesome PPV results. The only disappointments were Rogue/Valiant (which got an 80 earlier in he year) and Remo/Frehley (which got an 81 earlier in the year). I'm thinking the stipulation or the car placement is what affected it, since both were more popular and were hotter feud-wise.

Good show shawn!

I have three interesting protege relationships that have recently developed in my SWF game near the beginning of August 2013. Christian Faith has taken on Primus Allen, Enforcer Roberts has taken on Spencer Spade, and Joe Money (Sexy) has Scythe! I might split Spade & Lenny Brown and team Roberts & Spade for a while in a sort of Shield-like group. Scythe is up to 73 momentum getting lots of wins on the b-show. With Joe Money aligned with Rich Money & John Greed, Scythe might be their silent enforcer for a while. Not sure what to do with Allen just yet as he's basically been fed to Brandon James a lot. But maybe some time off and a team with declining Faith is in his future.

Interesting SWF games here guys.

I just finished Awesome Impact! and got my first 2 A star matches and they were both the 2 main events which made my popularity go up.

Made Brandon James go over Jack Bruce and Frehley retained his Title against Rogue.(Rogue can really put on a good match anytime 4 me)

Got plans at MY first Supreme Challenge for Rogue to take the World Title, then the rivalry with Valiant will really pick up because its for the Main Title!

Sexy is the North American Champ beating Gilmore at Awesome Impact because Gilmore is now main event, so I don't want him holding the NA title. Plus him and Sexy have history so good match, and Khoklov(Eric Eisons Bodyguard attacked Gilmore)

Had an Almighty Dollar reunion with one goal in mind, to raise the Tag Titles prestige up. Got them the title and now hopefully the prestige will build up.

Davids turned on American Machine, Davids is really doing well.

I have a next big thing in Matthew Keith(Sam Keiths son)

For me Christian Faith is actually quite good. Pulling some good matches in his rivalry with Vengeance right now, and he is willing to take crazy sick bumps, and who doesn't love that :p

Probably.

It's not uncommon for me to be way off. Ha

You were half right I think. I remember unemployed guys not having a problem signing short term contracts for a set number of appearances, but guys already had jobs weren't as agreeing to do so.

Now it doesn't seem to matter one way or another.
