Emma Chase is, as mentioned above, largely inspired by Attitude Era Debra in my diary (substitute "puppies" for "dollar signs"), but how'd she do as a face? Since the whole striptease to distract opponents is getting a bit played-out, I have other plans for her as a heel as we approach the fourth calendar quarter in my diary, but I just might turn her once 2014 comes along.</p><p> </p><p> Perhaps I'll align it with a Brandon James face turn, but I've yet to figure out how to write that out.</p>

<p>So... I'm a little scared.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Bruce's gimmick is stable at this point and, currently, it's at a "C". I'd love to get something higher as, I'm afraid, it could be hurting some of his segments slightly. Not sure though. That said, he's already at an A* throughout the world; so, it may not necessarily be needed?</p><p> </p><p>

That said, I created a gimmick for him but, upon choosing it, I feel that, if I'm looking to book to what 'reality would be', Jack Bruce would most certainly have 'creative freedom' with his persona. That said, could it completely tank his matches/segments if his new gimmick completely bombs; even at an A* in popularity?</p><p> </p><p>

Thought I'd see what others thought before I pull the trigger on it.</p>

He's had some A*-rated segments with Rich Money (popularity for both men at those times was in the high B+/low A range). Not sure, though, how a gimmick change would affect things.</p>

<p>I used to always change the bumfholes to Cruise Control, Randy and Zach Cruise. It normally would accompany a heel turn to the effect of "we're sick of playing by the swfs rules." And kayfabing cruise as their real name. I always pictured their total disgust at the name sending them into a rage whenever the crowd chanted it, which they would do regularly just to get under their skin.</p><p> </p><p>

This time around (first game in 13) I'm trying not to change so much. Keeping the bumfholes, not unmasking lobby, sticking with the starting stories at least for a few months.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm having mixed results but enjoying myself.</p><p> </p><p>

Recently bombed my first PPV after frehley vs vengeance only pulled a c!</p><p> </p><p>

And I'm on very low approval rating with rich for dropping joe sexys momentum beneath a c+, worst part is it wasn't even on tv! It was in the dark time!</p>

More power to those who like the Bumfhole name as is but in games where I want to take Randy and Zimmy seriously, I typically change the last name to Streets, making them the actual or kayfabe sons of former SWF superstar Dusty Streets. Sometimes I'll make the change in-game via a soap opera storyline where they learn their true parentage and turn heel. Finishers change accordingly with Randy getting the Road To Nowhere and Zimmy getting the Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

Alicia Strong left USPW in my game, I thought about starting a women's division but there weren't enough good female workers available to make it worth it. So I set the SWF to integrated. I have Alicia Strong, who has rocketed up the card, Joanne Rodriguez, and after a year I picked up Foxxy LaRue.</p>

<p>I meant as their own division just fighting amongst themselves. Mostly as a t&a thing. Bras and panties matches and the like.</p><p> </p><p>

I've been considering getting around it by just creating angles rated on sex appeal.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm starting a b show called SWF house party. In Kayfabe terms Des Davids and his manager Dawn the cheerleader have won a million dollars I'm a match against rich money and have bought a mansion (created venue with 1000 capacity) where they are holding SWF house party every Saturday with a lot of the undercard guys. It's kind of a risky late night show with more hardcore fast paced action and lots of t&a. I wanted to introduce a women's title to be defended solely in swimming pool matches lol</p>

J-Ro walked out of AAA not too long ago in my game and the SWF has a working relationship with AAA. So far the only time I tried having women wrestle in Supreme was having Demelza Wade (on loan) compete in a mixed tag match (Pain Alliance and Demelza Wade vs The Awesomeness and...Dawn the Cheerleader <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ) but that didn't go too well because of my settings, and because Dawn's not a wrestler. My concern is changing the product settings to allow for women's wrestling would be bad for my show grades going forward...</p><p> </p><p> And would it subsequently apply that developmental territories start hiring women if you turn women's wrestling on in the product settings?</p>

<p>I managed a Vixxxens division fine. Massively aided by Alicia Strong leaving USPW. Story lines and angles with Jack Bruce got her over to the point where she could carry the division against a bunch of young, cheap, terrible girls. Then I started building the other real characters.</p><p> </p><p>

It's an undercard thing, but it's fine.</p><p> </p><p>

If you change the development territory's product to include women's wrestling, they'll hire women.</p>

He was "angry" at me and I tested it where I gave him $10,000 bonus after $10,000 bonus... but nothing worked.</p><p> </p><p> That is, until I praised him after three straight PPVs and now he's "happy." Just do that and you should be fine.</p><p> </p><p> PS - He had a rather low-rated gimmick for me too right out of the gate so I switched him to Rebel. I think I gave him full control too and I got a 74. That's just the luck of the draw. I imagine he's popular enough that it won't hurt that much (obviously with the results you got from your show).</p>

<p>On the gimmick change issue I haven't had any issues with the default gimmicks. Some get well rated some don't. Grandmaster phunk's pimp gimmick got an e... Painful.</p><p> </p><p>

The top guys don't seem to be too effected by new gimmicks not catching on fire.</p><p> </p><p>

Roger cage got an A rating for his trouble maker gimmick though. So begins his rise to the top.</p>

<p>is there any guidelines when it comes to booking storylines that may come in handy.</p><p> </p><p>

I've played this game for a while now, but, it has always been with basically strictly in ring competition, so I'm out of my element here. Any basic outlines would come in handy if anyone would care to help out an SWF rookie <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

This is the basic outline I've been using on most of my SWF shows (assuming you've got a 90-minute Supreme TV - I use 120 minutes), and it's worked for the most part grade-wise.</p><p> </p><p> 1. Promo featuring main eventers (e.g. Jack Bruce, Rich Money) with great Entertainment, especially Microphone skills. The Modern TV Opening angles can be used for the opening promo.</p><p> 2. Authority figure books a match - this is what I call the "EXCUSE ME!" or "Six-Man Tag Match, Playa!" segment for obvious reasons. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> 3. Match #1 - usually with workers who have good Entertainment skills so they can work the crowd.</p><p> 4. Maybe a midcard promo or two</p><p> 5. Match #2-4/promos in between matches - This is where I book upper midcarder vs midcarder matches, and one of those matches is often a main eventer vs midcarder-or-lower squash. When inserting promos/rants or beatdowns or segments between the matches, they should be ideally rated lower than the next match - the whole "peaks and valleys" thing with Perfect Show Theory.</p><p> 6. After Match #4, have someone from the semi-main event take part in a "Worker Gets Ready" or "Worker is Walking" angle. </p><p> 7. Match #5. This would normally be the semi-main, and in here I usually book a main eventer with average to low Psychology (e.g. Remo) versus someone from the upper midcard with high Psychology (e.g. Lobster Warrior). </p><p> 8. Feel free to add some high-rated angles here, but the key thing is another "Worker Gets Ready or Worker is Walking" angle before the main event.</p><p> 9. Match #6. Either main eventer vs main eventer or main eventer vs upper midcarder. The key thing is making sure at least one of these workers has a "B" in Psychology or better. These matches usually last 15 minutes or more, and if you've got Rich Money, Christian Faith or Angry Gilmore in there and the match is 16+ minutes, go for the slow build.</p><p> </p><p> Again, there are other booking strategies that work, but the one above has mostly given me B+ grades or better. Hope this helps!</p>

<p>For sheer ratings(NOT for the sake of building an interesting story), its best to get a notepad file and fill it with the following:</p><p> </p><p>

2-3 best talkers(that can work to a decent standard. One fo these will most likely be named Jack Bruce.)</p><p>

1-2 most menacing guys(that can work to a decent standard. One of these will most likely be named Remo)</p><p>

Best pure in-ring worker(Most likely will be named Angry Gilmore)</p><p> </p><p>

These guys ideally never job, or if they do, its in an open match to a guy with more overness than them.</p><p> </p><p>

Then you make a list below this one with 4-8 under-27 guys(both in the company and on the regional/indy scene) that you personally see as having the most potential. These guys are ideally in matches with good workers you don't particularly need, such as Enforcer Roberts and Squeaky McClean, or building pop via squashes against lesser overness guys.</p><p> </p><p>

For Supreme TV, you need 1-2 good matches and 1-2 good angles minimum to keep the ratings up for your TV show. Build a PPV main event between two guys who haven't lost going into it. Be sure that your talkers get promo time on the show as well.</p><p> </p><p>

Get a B show and book pop-building squashes. Make sure no one on your marquee list jobs. Make sure everyone is used on each card in some form. Battle royales involving the unused roster on the preshow are always a decent idea, as are bikini contests with the unused managers.</p><p> </p><p>

Again, this isn't great advice at all if you want to do a story, book the SWF like the real-life WWE, or are playing with a lot of different settings, but for getting huge ratings out of the game, it works.</p>

My problem was, if I wanted to really 'push him', I had to get him out of the Chase Agency (Establishment later). Why? He would end up being the jobber of the group. So, knowing this, I thought it would be better to get him out on his own.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Now, with Kris Cage at his side, I feel much more comfortable with giving him a spot on SupremeTV every once in awhile. <p>I now know why there's a 'cooling down period' following Wrestlemania. It's more so for the writers/creative. ha. </p><p> </p><p>

After booking the lead up to "Supreme Challenge 33", only one more SupremeTV before I hit that point, I find myself at a point where everything is rather stressful in a way. Trying to give every story it's powerful lead in, pulling some ideas to make 'memorable moments', and debating back-and-forth over WHY someone should win (only to then go back on it at the same time). </p><p> </p><p>

The fortunate thing is, unlike the real world, I can actually take a week or so off after the PPV to re-charge some batteries and get a mindset going forward. In a way, a 'reset' of sorts where I can step back, make sense of what happened at "SC33", and then decide on the following path.</p><p> </p><p>

All of that in mind, I really DO empathize with WWE creative right now.</p>

<p>So, I'm confused about angle grades in the SWF.</p><p> </p><p>

For those who don't want to be spoiled AT ALL about an upcoming SupremeTV episode then don't go any farther. For others, you can highlight the info below.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Take in point, Marat Khoklov. He's at a B+ overall in popularity, B in momentum, A* in Star Quality, and A* in menace.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

I booked him in three segments recently where he was rated on menace.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In segment one, he worked with an A* overall worker... The grade? B-</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In segment two, he worked with an A overall worker... The grade? B-</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In segment three, he worked with three men (A, A, and A*)... The grade? B-</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Am I missing something here? I would think Khoklov's popularity and look would be a LOCK for continuous A grades in angles. I get probably not in matches but angles should be the case. </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

So... What's going on here?</span></p>
