Chose not to go with that particular match in my diary (instead making that match a semi-main), but Money and Randy B. didn't have any good/great chemistry notes and still pulled off an awesome match. Congrats as well on the A-rated show! Had a good laugh with The Awesomeness' segment...a reminder of how I should have booked them back when they were babyfaces. Liked how Randy Bumfhole put up such a fight against Rich Money, and Money was definitely NOT expecting that. I kinda hope this is the start of a Randy push, as Zim-Me is getting a sweet push right now, so I hope Randy gets a push. Their prior match was a "B+" in a throw-away match. Knowing this, I knew that their second go around, with the grade they pulled down, it would have to be FAR more compelling than just a squash. In this vein, Randy gave the "Supreme Dictator" a challenge he certainly was not expecting. Will this mean a push for Randy going forward? Possibly. It's true, Zim-ME is getting a pretty strong push right now. That said, Randy, while not climbing up AS strong right now, is getting equal amount of focus from me from a 'building perspective'. His new persona is the catalyst for that. Plus, he & Zim-ME have both showed up on my 'showstopper' list (in-game). To me, that's more than enough reason to usher them toward the spotlight long-term. Loved Eric's reaction though, is he a fully blown Face now then, or is his kind of a tweener? I took it as a face turn, but I may have got it wrong. I like how he was the only one who disagreed with Money, and told him no. I can certainly see the confusion on the matter. I mean, it's Eric Eisen. He's been one of THE most hated figures in the Cornellverse for quite some time now. His limited ability in the ring fused with the nepotistic existence he's had thus far has created a guy that's SO easy to hate. In this case though, telling Money to 'shove it' is the ultimate babyface turn. In my head, Money's SO hated, SO despised by the SWF NATION, that they would be marking out over the idea that Eisen (a former ally) would finally tell him off. That said, knowing how much people have hated him prior to this moment, I plan on doing some 'gardening' in which to make him a more realistic babyface; someone you'd cheer for when stacked up against Money. IN reality, without Money, a babyface turn for Eric wouldn't really be possible (in my mind). This is the perfect situation to do so though. He's an Eisen (Bold, strong, defiant) and it's about damn time that he shows that... (for the betterment of the company his Father created and eventually lost) Surprised Remo reacted like that though, I thought he was more of a "solo, I don't back down or beg to nobody" but I guess he realized just how much power Money had and also the fact Money is his "best friend" I guess. Unlike Eric, Remo stayed with Money. I agree, he comes across like a 'solo' figure; a bad ass without any need for allies. That said, aligning with Money means opportunity. So, early on, he kneels down and, in doing so, shows that he's willing to do the 'dirty work' for a man he's been working with off-and-on for quite some time now. Not to mention, I'm a firm believer of cause-and-effect in just about everything in life. This is no different. Eric turns away from Money... This is caused by weeks upon weeks of a terrible relationship gotten worse. From there, Eisen, filled with frustration by this point, then takes out his anger on Remo when he sees someone ELSE following in the same miserable path he suffered through recently. It's a "I see the light now... why don't you"? In doing so, by verbally spatting at Remo, the "Alpha Dog" is now fixated more so on 'punking' Eric than anything else. It just so happens that he & Money have that in common now. Meanwhile, through all of this, Remo gets to live the life of luxury; still a "Money Made Man". Christian Faith vs Marat Khoklov. Yay. I hope Bruce The Giant pops up during the match or Vengeance interferes. Christian Faith can't catch a break... He overcomes his "Demon" and barely dies in the process it seems. Now, nowhere near healthy, he now has to forge ANOTHER mountainous scenario as defeating Marat Khoklov. Sometimes... it sucks to be THE 'hero'. Also, Steve Frehley vs Jack Bruce, then later on in the PPV (whoever wins) vs Rich Money. Classic Money, making sure his opponent is already pretty much beaten so its an "easy" victory. I bet an Establishment Attack after the Frehley/Bruce match or before the ???/Money match will follow as well I really love Money's character though. Exactly! Bruce & Frehley, a rivalry that's been teased for MONTHS now, will no doubt beat the living HELL out of each other at "Welcome to the Jungle". Knowing this, Money gets to reap the benefit of a depleted opponent at the August PPV event. No matter who comes out of the match, if he can capitalize on their weakened health, Money can potentially walk away with yet another 'big win' over an equally BIG name. That's just how he rolls... always scheming... always plotting... always oppressing... A with Rich Money & Randy Bumfhole. I guess they have great chemistry. I am shocked Funny enough, no chemistry notes there. As I eluded to up there, their first match was a "B+" in a relative throwaway match. I wanted to see what would happen if the two squared off against one another in a more highlighted scenario. An 'A' is awesome and, if there was an even better lead in, there's a chance they could have pulled down an A* (in my mind at least). Amazing show! I actually cheered for Eric Eisen. Where can I buy a Jay Chord t-shirt? I found myself thinking the same thing as I wrote Eisen's segment. "I'm actually rooting for Eric Eisen in this...". It was there that I knew I had something really fun to work with. I've been booking this scenario to come for weeks, if not months, now. This is the 'pay off' of all of that tension between the two. Now, I've got some ideas as it pertains to keeping Eric Eisen at the forefront of our support as he tackles the "Supreme Dictator" (a man who continues to drag the company his Father created through the dirt). Funny you bring up the 'Jay Chord t-shirt' thing. I was thinking about re-visiting the 't-shirt' design scenario that I used in my prior SWF renditions once again. Jay was one of the first people I thought of for this. It would add yet another dimension to the project as it helps to shape what the shows would look/feel like in real-life (between writings, theme music, altered images to create wrestler-specific tones, etc.). I'm not one to play for grades very often, outside of knowing what's important for a good show, but this scenario was one that I knew I could grab something strong to open up the post-SC feel. Thank you on the 'A' show! I haven't had very many of them. It was great to see. I'm still looking for that elusive A* match. I've had a few angles with the grade; however, nothing in the match department yet. Also, good to know someone liked the Awesomeness segment! There's plenty more where that came from. I was thinking after last show that Money will be in weaker position after winning the title and with Establisment "failing" him, but this show quickly wiped that idea from my mind with the way Money dominated Remo and Chase, not to mention bringing Khoklov on his side to replace Eisen and to make Establisment even stronger that it has been before.</p><p> </p><p> Remo and Chase are actually becoming my favorite characters on this one which is a bit of suprise, espesially Remo who I didn´t really care that much before.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I get your reasoning behind it, but it's still such a shock that the Alpha Dog would go down on one knee and "kiss the ring". When will Remo come to his senses? Will he ever come to his senses? Physically, Remo is one of the most intimidating guys in the SWF, he shouldn't bow to anyone. However, Money is all-powerful and (in Remo's eyes) it's easier to join 'em then to beat 'em. </p><p> </p><p> Now it seems like the Establishment is even stronger with the departure of Eisen and the addition of Khoklov. Khoklov has been unstoppable through the first half of the year. The only person to even come close to taking him out has been the equally large Bruce the Giant. Against normal men, it has looked like Khoklov was a man fighting children.</p><p> </p><p> I really think you hate Christian Faith. First Vengeance, then with no time to really recover he gets Khoklov. Even Superman died - there's only so much one hero can take. Khoklov left Gilmore a beaten mess, he (and Vengeance) cleared out the Warzone Cell with ease, he took out Bruce the Giant (who was absent from this show), and his lariat has had many victims throughout this diary. How much can Faith take before he ends up an old, broken man?</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: Also, nice call on Citizen X as Dr. Tremont. I've spent a good amount of game time as MAW and another member of the COTT, NYCW. I've borrowed X and used him. Anybody from MAW gets a thumbs up in my book. Except Keith Vegas, he's terrible.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: Underground has a new owner? I think it's someone with the last name Eisen. While Eisen brings his own talents, Khoklov brings something entirely different. With Christian being a "real-life" friend of Richard Eisen, I am sure that Christian has some stories to tell about Eric. No one is ever all bad or all good. That said, I totally agree with you. Eric Eisen didn't 'turn babyface' because he all of a sudden had a change of heart or really thought twice about his antics over the last 7 months. He tells Switch, and the booing Underground crowd, that he’s got a remedy for ‘the freak’… and it’s… The Big Ugly. Upon calling him out, the massive ‘Big Ugly’ comes stomping out of the back; scowling, eyes-wide-open, and looking like he hasn’t bathed or brushed his teeth in years. Diving off the top rope right away, Dolphin Boy sends Carnage reeling with a lightning quick missile drop-kick. In addition, Turtle helps to take him to the canvas as the two double-team the big man with a double spinning heel kick. Seconds later, the fervid Underground crowd pops greatly as the duo lands a double springboard elbow drop (both jumping up, diving back and around, on the middle rope facing the crowd) square upon his chest. It’s looking good… until Carnage sits up. They don’t know it right away but, once seeing Carnage back on his feet, Dolphin & Turtle look shocked. They try to attack the steel masked man again but, this time, are unsuccessful. A head-butt to Turtle (with a steel mask) KO’s him rather quickly. Seconds later, Dolphin Boy is beaten down & eventually KO’ed with a big boot off the ropes. In the end, the segment comes to a close as Carnage stands over his fallen victims, stoic yet menacing, as he stands still like a statue. He was the loud-mouthed, sleazy, ultra-controversial personality that really brought out a great tone for WAR broadcasts. Now, in the SWF, I felt like I wanted to capitalize on that persona again. In this case though, he's still much the same; however, amped up a bit & slightly more 'Southern' (if that makes sense). The leisure suit and cigarette tells it all.
