I've built Captain Atomic into somewhat of a diva it seems. He's mad about the idea of taking pins from most everyone. ha. So, I try to keep him happy. Also, Gilmore's taken enough pins to the Trinity that I couldn't have it happen again. With Rocky, while I see him as a HUGE asset long-term, right now he's 'building his brand' in the SWF. He needs more character depth, more adversity, just more everything before he'll feel like 'my guy'. Granted, I want to get him to that point.</div><p></p>

It's better now. Was dreadful bronchitis mostly. It's all part of the conspiracy to keep Jay Chord out of the main event I tells ya! <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Is Jay still being an angel backstage? Cause that's just weird. Jay is good, Atomic is the douchebag.

<p>Hrm. I must admit that there are several workers on Underground that have caused me to go back and take a second look at for my own game(s). Tank, Shady K, and Knuckles, being a few of them. Tank especially as I've never used the guy before, but looking at his stats in my 2014 save, he's a very impressive wrestler for big menacing dude standards, Hell's Bouncer is another one, but his destiny roll can make him or break him. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm also curious who's under the Carnage mask, but it won't kill me not to know. I'm just curious if he's a good worker or just passable with great menace or what. I've ALWAYS been a fan of Undertaker/Kane like gimmicks mainly with a side order of The Brood (remember them? best enterance EVER). So anything ripping off *cough* I mean borrowing heavily from that I heartily approve. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:p</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I find I am more of a fan of Underground than the main show as this is where the up and comers tend to be and I like that more than the established names.</p>

I was looking over the indy scene, attempting to locate new guys, when I came across him. His mixture of ability, look, and domination (as it pertains to MAW) made him an easy choice. Thus far, he's not a huge grade-getter per se but that's probably more so because he's working with less over talent (building him up in a Goldberg-like fashion; 7-0 right now). <p>As expected, my predictions for the PPV were poor. I never do too well with your PPVs. You always keep us guessing for the big shows. Looking at the match-ups from the PPV they could have all really gone either way. No one was so far above their opponent that they just couldn't win. </p><p> </p><p>

I was fairly confident about the final three matches: Trinity vs Gilmore/Atomic/Idol, Bruce vs Frehley, and Money vs Faith. </p><p> </p><p>

The Trinity is hot right now, and they would lose so much momentum if they lost the big PPV match to the trio of Gilmore, Idol, and Atomic. Their ascent to the top of the SWF is not yet complete. I also very much like how you book them. They sometimes use under-handed tactics and sometimes will get themselves DQ'ed, but when they buckle down they can go with the best of them and win. There were some shenanigans (confusing the ref) in their match, but no weapons or other outside interference in this match, they just won. I don't know what's coming next for them, but I'm looking forward to it.</p><p> </p><p>

Poor Steve, he just can't catch a break. Even on his own turf, he just can't get the better of Jack Bruce. Sadly, he's just a "Big Ole #2". You have been building Bruce up over the course of this diary and he has to be your most over guy at this point. Kudos to Steve for the big bump, had to hurt.</p><p> </p><p>

I still believe that you are trying to kill Faith in the ring. He takes a big bump at every PPV it seems. I didn't think it was time for Money to lose his title just yet, it really hasn't been that long since he won it. It's just that he's been in charge for so long that it feels like he's been the champ for a while now. I have faith that you won't drag it on too long. I can tell that you enjoy using Money so it may be tough for you to take the focus off of him a bit.</p><p> </p><p>

I didn't see The Awesomeness winning the tag team gold, and I really didn't see Vengeance and Khoklov ending the way it did. I thought something crazy was going to happen, but that Vengeance would make them both disappear and the match would get thrown away (or something like that). I didn't see Khoklov continuing his dominating match streak. If only those two guys could produce better match ratings. Granted Khoklov has been paired up against Vengeance and Bruce the Giant (both on time decline) which may have hurt him somewhat. I'll have to look back a few shows and see what grade he got with Faith.</p><p>

*EDIT: I just checked, he and Faith didn't click so that didn't go so well either, ah well.*</p><p> </p><p>

Great show, looking forward to SupremeTV!</p>

General housekeeping to attend to.

I had grown lazy over the last few months and hadn't updated much of the earlier posts. That said, I went through over the last day and should be all caught up in these areas:

1) Roster

2) RIPW

3) Champions

I didn't realize HOW behind I really was. Overall though, things are up to date & ready to go from here on out. Now, onto some feedback...

Carnage = La Criatura de Navidad. :p

No but seriously, I have a good idea on who Carnage is now.

Let's just say you may or may not have written this character before in a previous, notable diary? No? :)

Great repackage btw

You know, I don't believe I have booked this guy before the SWF.

Is Carnage (highlight the text below)?

I didn't want to really give his identity away; however, Ice brought up that I had already spilled the beans before. ha. I don't remember that.

I don't expect this need for his identity to go away; so, I'd rather get that to you so it doesn't come to define his character. I'd rather we look at him as the persona as he is. Plus, there's been enough ambiguity for awhile that I think I'm more comfortable with his name being out there.

If you want to know, then highlight below. If you don't, then continue on without it.

Carnage is Shady K. I asked him to 'get bigger' in size and he did so (so did Knuckles). In doing so, his camera ability boosted up to 'excellent'.

There you are!

As expected, my predictions for the PPV were poor. I never do too well with your PPVs. You always keep us guessing for the big shows. Looking at the match-ups from the PPV they could have all really gone either way. No one was so far above their opponent that they just couldn't win.

I'm a firm believer in building to the PPV. While some big moments happen on TV, most of those are angle/entertainment-based. The big wins in the ring typically come at the PPV.

You're right though. A lot of these matches truly could have gone either way.

I don't know what's coming next for them, but I'm looking forward to it.

You hit the nail on its head with the Trinity. They are heels; so, there are times they are going to resort to traditional heel cheating. It's not how others go about it though. Sure, a weapon strike here and there will happen (ie: Ino striking Gilmore in the head so that Jay Chord could get the winning pinfall on SupremeTV) but the main focus is on these guys being 'great wrestlers'. They tend to cheat in other ways; ie: eye-poking, double-team attacks, etc. At the end of the day though, these guys can really 'go' and that's the focus of their faction. They are heels, they look down on the SWF, hate the 'Supreme Superstar' name over 'wrestler', but they can really back it up in the ring.

There is quite a bit in store for the Trinity going forward; I'm excited to tell those stories. I will say though, as I feel it's okay to clue in on this, I don't plan on ripping them apart at any point in the future. I want to keep these guys together for a LONG time; Horsemen style. More or less, they won't dominate and then have one of them turn on the others months later.

Poor Steve, he just can't catch a break. Even on his own turf, he just can't get the better of Jack Bruce. Sadly, he's just a "Big Ole #2". You have been building Bruce up over the course of this diary and he has to be your most over guy at this point. Kudos to Steve for the big bump, had to hurt.

Poor, Stephen.

I have to say, I love Steve Frehley. It's why I kept the belt on him until "SC33". I feel there's a lot you can do with his character & he put together some great matches (even against people you wouldn't think; main eventing with Des Davids before "SC33"). Sadly though, Jack won't do the job for Stevie. In full disclosure, I wanted Steve to go over Jack at "Under Control". Furthermore, I was going to lock these two into a lengthy feud that would stretch into 2014 (as I wanted it to be a major feud) but Jack's unwillingness to job to Steve brought that idea to a halt.

I love Steve Frehley but I'm not going to piss off Jack Bruce to put him over the rebellious rocker.

And yes, Jack Bruce is tied for my most over worker. The other A* star? Rich Money.

I can tell that you enjoy using Money so it may be tough for you to take the focus off of him a bit.

Yea, I'm guilty of trying to kill Christian Faith... ha.
;)

I'm overusing the 'crazy bump' with him; however, I believe that's part of his persona ("Iron Man"). That said, I'm overusing it.

As you'll see though, going from here, I'm cooling off on Faith a bit. I still love the guy, still love the "Aging LEGEND" storyline, but I feel it's best to slow down his in-ring rate.

I'll have to look back a few shows and see what grade he got with Faith.

*EDIT: I just checked, he and Faith didn't click so that didn't go so well either, ah well.*

The Awesomeness was booked to be a surprise; to officially kick-off their "coming out party" alongside Jack Bruce. It was my plan all along to have them lose in this manner. Now, I can book another go at it between the teams on "Let the Games Begin".

Khoklov/Vengeance is part of a larger storyline with the "Demon"; Khoklov was just there to get the 'bump' by being seen as unstoppable. The Vengeance-scenario will be fleshed out further on SupremeTV this week & is one I'm REALLY excited about booking/writing.

Khoklov on the other hand, he continues to dominate & remains undefeated in 2013 (7-0). Plus, now, with the destruction of Vengeance under his 'belt', the "Russian of Mass Destruction" has NEVER seemed SO powerful.

Great show, looking forward to SupremeTV!

Thank you, Shmoop!!
:)

It's interesting how you tell of workers not willing to job and how you deal with them. I'll admit to not be all that tolerant when someone gets uppity enough to refuse to lose. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> My usual reaction is to go 'oh yeah?' and make sure they know I'm displeased with 'em. Be it a losing streak, having someone more or equal to them just utterly squash 'em, etc. Petty? Heck yeah and I'll be the first to admit it. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> It's actually something I tend to be (overly?) paranoid about as Typically I don't do Goldburg pushes at all because of that.

You signed Blue Phantom? I'm not surprised. Just starting up my MPWF dynasty, I quickly realized how damn good the kid was. And he's only 19 at the start of 2014. I mean, he'll never be a main eventer in the SWF or even a title holder, but I can see him becoming a good midcarder at the very least.

<em>If Atomic won't do the job for Zim, he won't do it for Cage.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>I may be wrong, but I cannot remember Garcia winning a televised match-up since this started.</em></p><p> </p><p>

“THE ALPHA DOG” Remo vs. <strong>“THE HONORABLE” Valiant</strong></p><p>

[“Sin City Gamble” Ladder Match Qualifier]</p><p>

<em>Tough call here. I feel like Remo is higher on the pecking order, but Valiant has to start doing something. Also, Eric Eisen will not want to let Remo get in this match, he will probably come down and cause a distraction (as Smasher said).</em></p><p> </p><p>

Angry Gilmore vs. <strong>Koshiro Ino</strong></p><p>

[“Sin City Gamble” Ladder Match Qualifier]</p><p>

<em>This is a tough call, but I'm going with Ino. You are very high on The Trinity right now, I see their roll continuing.</em></p>

<em>Cage is too far below Atomic on pecking order to warrant a win here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Frederique Antonio Garcia vs. <strong>“THE GOLDEN BOY” Rocky Idol</strong></p><p>

<em>Idol don´t have great win/loss record after Trinity did came to back Chord but Garcia isn´t really in the same league so Idol gets some momentum back by beating him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Remo is simply higher on pecking order.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>I could see this one going either way but Ino is likely the least fitting Trinity member when we talk about ladder match so I have Gimore advance here with either Chord or Minnesota being the Trinity guy in that match.</em></p>

Question: Can the “Golden Boy” reverse his recent misfortunes in the ring – OR – Will Frederique Antonio Garcia continue the damming trend?</p><p>

<em>I guess you could go with the swerve here and have one of The Trinity cost Idol the match, but why have Frederique pick up the win then?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Question: Who will go on to cement an SWF World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at “Let the Games Begin”?</p><p>

<em>I love Valiant, but he seems to have been pushed down the ladder somewhat. Remo will make it into the match as Money's "insurance policy".</em></p><p>

<em>With a heel taking the first spot, I have to go with a face here. My guess is Minnesota and Chord try to get involved and are stopped by Idol and Atomic.</em></p>
