DIASPORA- Takayuki of the Revolution-13 (Thunderverse)

Recommended Posts

Out of Character Introductory Post

This you won't be surprised to see is a continuation of my last TEW 2010 diary....

It's a project that came about because my last Cornellverse diary involving BHOTWG was cut short due to my computer becoming corrupted- annoying as it was at the time not to see that diary through to a satisfying conclusion- Jhd1's Thundeverse inspired me to start up another diary project. Starting another diary in TEW 2010 is not something I was considering doing but contributing a creation (Meido Machine) to the Become A Star competition, plus the freshness of the Thundeverse got my creative juices flowing once again.

Though of course the announcement of TEW 2013, had me worried just how much legs my latest diary project would have and whether or not I would be tempted to ditch this in favour of something involving the new Cornellverse.....

Well as tempting as that is, I'm determined to see DIASPORA-Takayuki of the Revolution through to a satisfying conclusion. Of course part of that is driven by the fact that was unable to do that with BHOTWG- Stepping Into The Inferno.

As for this TEW 2013 installment of DIASPORA- Takayuki of the Revolution- it won't truly get going until the latest version of the Thunderverse has been released. The main reason I want to use the latest version, as opposed to just converting my TEW2010 game, is because I started the diary with the earliest version of the Thunderverse, minus all the characters and promotions that were added with later editions.

That will mean me having to manipulate the data a little, so that it begins from 1st April 2012 where the TEW2010 diary ended and of course to make sure that everyone that was on my roster at the end of the last tour, are signed for the next tour. Consequences of doing it this way is that anything that happened outside of DIASPORA would have to be considered null and void (it's why I didn't bother with my usual monthly wrestling news post from outside DIASPORA at the end of the TEW2010 diary).

The only thing I'm going to adjust with my roster, is to set their popularity to the same as it was at the end of the last tour. Changing their skills will be too tedious an exercise, and any changes that were there, would have been pretty minimal.

For now whilst I wait for the latest Thunderverse data to become available, I will just be updating this front page with roster profiles, title histories etc.

The next post will provide links to the TEW 2010 version of the diary....

New to this diary and want to start from the beginning (The TEW 2010 diary)? Or perhaps have lost touch and want to get back into it, here's a useful index of the important bits, without having to sift through people's predictions or me bemoaning about the lack of them :p

Kuro Nadeshiko

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_KuroNadeshiko1.jpg

Formed : October 2011

Theme Song: What's Up People?

Formation: After Sairento had lost the Super Junior Championship, to fellow DIASPORA Four member Prime Dragon- it made him snap and attack Dragon in a jealous rage. The relationship between two men seen as great rivals before their time in DIASPORA was always going to be strained, but still the attack from Sairento was a heinous and vicious one.

But it was one he had no remorse in doing and he vowed to not only win back the Super Junior title by any means necessary but that he would rebuild DIASPORA in his own image and the only one’s who would survive would be those who followed him.

Remnants of the ‘Crimson Denizens’ stable IMPERIOUS (Tian Long & Incognito) plus PUNCH (Chojiro Ono & Kan Mitsubishi) were quick to put their support behind Sairento. Essentially Sairento had taken on a directionless Crimson Denizens, took leadership and renamed the group- signalling a new beginning for the top heel stable in DIASPORA.

A few week’s prior to Sairento’s turn, GUSHIKEN (leader of the DIASPORA Four, associate group the Tokyo Wrecking Crew) turned on his sometime tag partner Eikichi Minamoto (who had briefly joined the Crew as a fourth member) and with Minamoto being a huge fan favourite that earned GUSHIKEN huge negative heat from the fans.

But the ‘legend’ no longer cared of the fans opinions, he wanted to be on a ‘winning team’ no matter what. Some will say that was the moment that triggered the current unit shake-up, other’s will point to Sairento’s post title loss turn to Prime Dragon as the key moment. But it was Sairento who took the initiative to form Kuro-Nadeshiko and GUSHIKEN merely joined the stable, though a senior veteran many see him as Kuro’s second in command.

Soh Terajima pleaded to Kuro-Nadeshiko , as he was a great admirer of Sairento...after a few weeks of ignoring Terajima’s pleas- eventually Sairento relented...seeing use for Terajima as a ‘front line soldier’. The unpredictable Xtincion, teased becoming a member for several weeks with random backstage attacks on Guardians members, until he showed that he has no allegiance by suddenly attacking Kuro-Nadeshiko members.

When PUNCH lost the All Asia Tag Titles to the Tokyo Wrecking Crew (the duo of Yamawaki and Date continuing the name on)Chojiro Ono turned on Mitsubishi , with the rest of Kuro-Nadeshiko helping Ono in the beat-down to kick the young heavyweight out of the group.

Current Prognosis: Sairento was clearly disatisfied at the start of the tour that Kuro-Nadeshiko did not hold any gold, though those frustrations were somewhat placated by the fact that the Udon Noodle Killers (GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono) managed to grab the All Asian Tag Team Titles- though the 'Silent Reaper'himself was still left frustrated over the fact that he was unable to win the Super Junior Championship from Prime Dragon.

With the Guardians falling apart from the inside, Kuro-Nadeshiko have in fact done direct damage to the S.H.I.P stable, culminating in the S.H.I.P leader Hiroto Nori being forced to have his head shaved after failing to escape the cage in the main event of the Flowers of Hell supershow the Mascara Contra Caballera Cage Match, something Sairento clearly took much delight in.

Kuro-Nadeshiko will be looking to cause more chaos throughout DIASPORA and crush their rivals in pursuit of not just championship gold but total domination.

S.H.I.P

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_SHIP1.jpg

Formed: November 2011

Theme: Resonance

Formation: S.H.I.P (Strength, Honor, Integrity,Performance) are seen as the secondary ‘fan favourite’ stable of DIASPORA... their remit is that primarily they are group of ‘young, hungry wrestlers’ looking to prove they are better than the Guardians, but by doing it the ‘right way’ instead of through the dishonourable means of the Kuro-Nadeshiko.

The group basically formed when Hiroto Nori, the youngest member of the DIASPORA Four, turned down Prime Dragon’s offer to join the ‘Guardians’ , saying that it was time he stood on his own and stepped out of the shadows of Dragon, Sairento and Zodiac. Initially many wondered if Nori, literally meant ‘going it alone’ but those thoughts were quickly put to rest when he began to tag regularly with the Junior Tag Team Champions New Solution (Yamato & Hideki) one time leading members of the youth orientated tweener group ‘Second Raid’.....Soon enough they all joined forces with the Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Yamawaki & Date) and after a few weeks of being an un-official un-named unit they officially went by the name of S.H.I.P.

Former Heavyweight champion Koto Arato- was always someone who never pledged allegiance to a stable, but could now seen the benefit of joining one. Just which one he would join was up in the air for a while, but perhaps his decision was made when his rival Hyotaru Ichigawa (the man who defeated Arato for the Heavyweight Championship), joined ‘Guardians’.

S.H.I.P leader Nori was unsure if letting Arato join would be a good idea, and if the veteran really fit in with the rest of the group, but the former Heavyweight Champion convinced Nori, that he would provide a strong member for S.H.I.P and would not be challenging Nori for leadership of the group, despite his veteran status.

Current Prognosis: In terms of being able to secure/retain championship gold, the Full Metal Panic! Tour was unsuccesful for S.H.I.P, losing both sets of tag titles and failing to win either of the singles championships- though the absolute nadir of a frustating tour for S.H.I.P was the humiliation of their leader Hiroto Nori being forced to have his head shaved.

Though there is a feeling that despite these failures, S.H.I.P remain as united as ever, and perhaps it is them and not the Guardians who represent the best hope to stand up to Kuro-Nadeshiko, of course all could depend on how Hiroto Nori re-acts to the humilating experience of the head shaving- will it make him grow more determined and stronger or would Shintaro Hideki and Kotei Yamato's failure to protect their leader in that match lead to Nori becoming frustrated with the rest of S.H.I.P. They may well be putting up a united front now, but their are certainly seeds sown that could destabilize them.

Formed: May 2012

Theme: Go Go Maniac

Formation: The bizarre pairing of Meido Machine and HUSTLE Umiro formed during the Full Metal Panic! Tour and after what seemed to be a rather strange recruiting process appear to have now aligned themselves with fellow DIASPORA newcomers Junichi Matsuo and a man with a severe case of identity crisis Hunter Wolfe/Fuku Machine.

They made their alliance official on the first show of the Blazing Eye Tour, where they revealed their name and their colours. A man dressed in a cat outfit, whose name has now been revealed to be 'Nyan Nyan Neko Man' has become involved in their matches and it appears that he is the newest recruit to DIASPORA's bizarrest faction.

Current Prognosis: Early days yet for Tuturu! as an official alliance, but it appears that they are making enemies of The Ambassadors Club.

Current other alliances/unaffiliated wrestlers

'The Forgotten': The tag team collectively known as The Forgotten Hideaki Kasuse and Kohei Hidaka appear to have formed something of a lose alliance with fellow 'overlooked' lower carder Yachi Kotara on the Full Metal Panic! Tour. They're not seen as an official stable, as they don't have any 'colours' but it is clear that these three have a shared bond when it comes to bitter feelings for their lack of recognition.

Kan Mitsubishi: The only one of the former Guardians of DIASPORA not to have landed in a new faction. He has tagged a few times with the Warriors of Tradition but it appears that he did not impress enough to be offered a chance to join the Silver Kings.

The Ambassadors Club: The ex UPJ tag team, unsuccessfully challenged Whispered for the Junior Tag Titles at Flowers of Hell. It is unknown at this stage, whether or not they will be sticking around in DIASPORA long term and if they are looking to align themselves with others. They managed to do just that when they defeated MOE! MONEY! to win the services of Hunter Wolfe (Fuku Machine). Wolfe became Kavidar and Crowley's personal 'servant' and had his title changed to Chief Butler Wolfe.

Aki Shimizudani : Whilst Horiuchi Inokuma has somewhat landed on his feet again by joining up with Eikichi Minamoto's Temple of Tsukamoto faction, the former tag partner he turned on continues to struggle with so poor that not even 'The Forgotten' have offered him a chance to join their ranks.

Xtinction: The mystery man continues to fly solo within DIASPORA. There are suspicions that there may well be more than one Xtinction though, following a series of incidents in matches where he happens to reappear in unlikely places at unlikely times.

The Who's Who of DIASPORA- June 2012 Edition (Part One)

Aki Shimizudani (S-Pulse)

Theme Music:

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Kawagoe, Kanto

Age: 35 / Height: 6ft, Weight: 255 Ibs

Finishers: Chin-Marker (Jumping Knee)

Signature Moves: Lariat, Belly to Belly Suplex, Running Shoulderblock, Uranage Backbreaker.

www.diaspora.jp profile: It has to be said that recently things have not been going well for Aki Shimizudani- with his tag team with Horiuchi Inokuma falling apart, when Inokuma turned on 'S-Pulse' accusing him of being 'deadwood'. Soundly beaten by his former tag partner in a feud between the two, following their break up, 'S-Pulse' will be looking to get his career back on track in DIASPORA to prove everyone, especially Inokuma wrong.

Bonito Flakes: Aki Shimizudani says that he does not like onigiri, because the fillings ruin the rice.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: In America they have a word for this kind of worker, it's called a 'Hoss'. I'm not really sure if that is a compliment.

Hometown: Saitama, Kanto (Billed from the Dark Recesses)

Age: 20/ Height: 5ft 6, Weight: 170 Ibs

Finishers: Web of Deception (Spinning Headscissors transitioned into an Octopus Stretch), Blood Drop (Senton Bomb), Lethal Bite (Double Underhook Piledriver)

Signature Moves: Poison Mist (Asian Mist attack, followed by a high kick to the head),Tilt-A-Whirl Headcissors, Tope Con Hilo, Moonsault, Russian Legsweep, Gory Bomb, Implant DDT, Snap DDT, One Handed Bulldog, Low Blow School Boy Roll Up.

www.diaspora.jp profile: The second incarnation of the infamous Blood Spider, made his DIASPORA debut in the new year and quickly aligned himself with the despised Kuro-Nadeshiko stable- which came as a surprise to no one seeing as the Blood Spider name has always been synomynous with being a vile heel. Much like his predessor the 'New Nightmare' clearly has the skills to win matches fairly but often chooses instead to fall back on blatant cheating- something highlighted by the formation of the 'Salty Delinquents' tag team with fellow shamless cheater Soh Terajima.

Bonito Flakes: Blood Spider Jr is genuinely a big fan of spiders, as he owns three pet tarantula's- though his enthusiam for his tarantula's caused a problem when he brought them along to his high school festival five years ago- the three critters escaped causing widespread panic throughout Saitama.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Mysterious masked man of dirty tricks and Poison Mist cliche! When he's not playing dirty, I would say he works more of a Lucha style than typical Japanese Junior style.

Chojiro Ono (Epic Tsunami)

Theme Music: Tokihanate

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko Udon Noodle Killers

Hometown: Naha City, Okinawa

Age: 34 / Height: 6ft, Weight: 300 Ibs

Finishers: Tsunami (Big Splash), Okinawa Battle Bomb (Spinning Powerbomb)

Signature Moves: Powerbomb, Press Slam, Charging Corner Splash, Clothesline, Sideslam

www.diaspora.jp profile: The heaviest wrestler on the DIASPORA roster, the man they call 'Epic Tsunami' provides a dominating menacing prescence for the Kuro-Nadeshiko whenever he steps inside the ring- though it has to be said that he often finds himself vunerable to being out-manouvred by quicker more agile opponents.

It is within the heavyweight tag ranks that Ono has found most success, being a two time All Asia Tag champion, firstly with Kan Mitsubishi and currently with GUSHIKEN as the Udon Noodle Killers- with the heavyweight bullies looking to cement themselves as the top heavyweight tag team within DIASPORA.

Bonito Flakes: Chojiro Ono claims to know over 100 Udon Noodle recipes.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Plodding big man, who uses his (over)weight as a weapon.

Dark Wolf II (The Howling Menace)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_DarkWolfII.jpg

Theme Music: One Reason

Affiliation: Temple of Tsukamoto

Hometown: Guadalajara, Mexico

Age: 27 / Height: 5ft 10 , Weight: 210 Ibs

Finishers: Wolf's Call (Sliding Lariat Pin), Wolf's Rain (Diving Elbow Drop), Holo's Dream (Three Quarter Nelson Choke), Howling Fury ( Slingshot Powerbomb).

Signature Moves: Release German Suplex, German Suplex Hold, Lariat, Tope Con Hilo, Slingshot Senton, Running Powerbomb, Double Underhook Powerbomb, Firemans Carry Cutter, Gutbuster, Fireman's Carry Backbreaker, Corner Drop-kick, Samoan Drop, Frankensteiner.

www.diaspora.jp profile: Dark Wolf II entered DIASPORA at the same time as Blood Spider Jr, alligning himself with the Kuro-Nadeshiko stable....initially it looked as though the 'Howling Menace' would regularly tag with his fellow DIASPORA newcomer but since the debut has concentrated mostly on singles competition.

In fact Dark Wolf II's early days in DIASPORA have felt somewhat low-key- because whilst he has been picking up victories they've often been in low profile matches against what many would consider to be DIASPORA's bottom feeders- though his inclusion in the Mascara Contra Caballera Cage Escape match at the Flowers of Hell PPV signalled that could be about to change and the 'Howling Menace' was the first one to escape the cage and earn a shot at the Junior Championship in the process- though his decision to 'bail' from the battle early was something clearly not well received by the Kuro-Nadeshiko leader Sairento.

Bonito Flakes: Though it doesn't have a tradition in either his native Mexico or his adopted country of Japan- Dark Wolf II is a big fan of Ice Hockey, with his favourite team being the Minnesota Wild.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Comes from Mexico and has influences of Lucha Libre in his work but primarily works a Junior Division powerhouse style.

Theme Music: Desert Ectasy

Affiliation: The Ambassadors Club

Hometown: Kalamazoo Michigan (Billed from Dubai).

Age: 29 / Height: 6ft , Weight: 210 Ibs

Finishers: Magic Carpet (Camel Clutch Surfboard), Oil Money (Overdrive), Sheik From Above (Double Jump Moonsault), Forty Thieves (Low Blow Sunset Flip Pin).

Signature Moves: Sitout Facebuster, Dropsault, Springboard Drop-Kick, Arabian Press, Corkscrew Diving Cross Body, Corkscrew Moonsault, Standing Corkscrew Moonsault, Running Corkscrew Shooting Star Press, Standing Tornado DDT, Belly to Back Suplex, Cobra Clutch Suplex, Cobra Clutch, Indian Deathlock, Sunset Flip Powerbomb.

www.diaspora.jp profile: The 'High Sheik' Ebi Kavidar made his debut alongside long time tag partner Paul Crowley at Flowers of Hell, with the pair unsuccesfully challenging Whispered for the Junior Tag Titles. It is though that the Ambassadors Club pursuit of the titles is not over after just one loss and that they are determined to not only prove their worth in DIASPORA but as one of the best Junior Heavyweight tag teams in the world.

Bonito Flakes: Though the Kalamazoo, Michigan born Kadivar is billed from Dubai- his family are actually imigrants from Azerbaijan.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A curious mix of flashy cruiserweight and old school arabic heel.

Eikichi Minamoto (Rumble Heart)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_EikichiMinamoto.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Temple of Tsukamoto

Hometown: Osaka, Kansai

Age: 33 / Height: 6ft, Weight: 245 Ibs

Finishers: Harima DDT (Double Arm DDT),),Ode to Eri (Cradle Brainbuster), Akira Takano Tea Club Special (Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors Arm Bar)

Signature Moves: Gurugu Mawaru (Airplane Spin Samoan Drop), Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick), Figure Four Leglock, Brainbuster, Hangman's Neckbreaker, Second Rope Knee Drop, Superplex, Float Over DDT.

www.diaspora.jp profile: Eikichi Minamoto defeated Hyotaru Ichigawa to become the DIASPORA heavyweight champion, but in order to achieve his goal, Minamoto changed from the fun loving fan favourite into possibly the most egotistical and devious member of the DIASPORA roster, something that instantly puts him at odds with the philosophy of his own stable, the 'Guardians of DIASPORA'.

The seeds for Minamoto change in heart were sown when he found himself in a 'throwaway' match against young lion Go Takashi at Neon Genesis Evolution- fed up of playing second fiddle to Ichigawa he challenged the veteran for the Heavyweight title at Pro Wrestling Festival and though he failed on that occasion it only made Minamoto more determined to usurp Ichigawa and 'Rumble Heart' truly showed his change of personality when he turned on Ichigawa in a loser leaves unit match forcing the then champion out of Guardians.

Somehow Minamoto managed to convince Guardians leader Prime Dragon to continue put trust in him, though everyone else could clearly see that he was becomign a poisonous prescence within the popular fan favourite stable. Now with a more ruthless streak, encompassed in his deadly new submission finisher the Akira Takano Tea Club Special, Minamoto was able to dethrone Ichigawa for the Heavyweight title at the second attempt, at the Flowers of Hell PPV.

At one time the fans would have been delighted to see Minamoto win the title, but with his increasingly arrogant attitude, they would now love to see nothing more than 'Rumble Heart' to have his ego popped, by his reign as champion being cut short.

Bonito Flakes: Apparently it was suggested to Minamoto-san that he change his entrance music to something a little more menacing but he insisted that it stays as the School Rumble theme- because he's still the world's biggest School Rumble fan.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Well rounded Heavyweight, with a charismatic (perhaps American Sports Entertainment influence) slant to his in-ring work.

Go Takashi (Nippon Hart)

Theme Music: Uragiri No Yuuyake

Affiliation: S.H.I.P Team Ganbatte!!

Hometown: Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Kanto

Age: 22 / Height: 5ft 11 , Weight: 240 Ibs

Finishers: DRRR!! (Wrist Clutch Death Valley Driver), Headless Ride (Running Neckbreaker), Dollars ( Inverted Cloverleaf)

Signature Moves: Bartender's Swing (Giant Swing), Belly to Back Suplex, Belly to Back Superplex, Vertical Suplex, Superplex, Dragon Screw Legwwhip, Front Drop-Kick, Leaping Lariat, Death Valley Driver, Flapjack, Sidewalk Slam.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: With a wrestling education that has seen him trained by the famous Hart family from the U.K, the young lion Go Takashi entered DIASPORA at the beginning of the year and he soon showed that what he may currently lack in experience he makes up for with dedicated fighting spirit- a quality that soon brought him to attention of the S.H.I.P stable whose ideals are built upon the sort of fighter that Takashi is.

Taken under the wing of former heavyweight champion Koto Arato, in a sort of mentor-student relationship, Takashi soon forrmed a regular tag team with the veteran and though 'Tean Ganbatte!!' have thus far been unsuccesful in their pursuit of the Junior Tag titles many feel that the pairing have all the ingredients to one day become champions.

Bonito Flakes: Though Go Takashi is already well travelled at a young age, he still claims to be homesick everytime he leaves his beloved Ikebukuro. Even a trip to Shinjuku will bring forth pangs of homesickness.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A hodge podge of athleticism, power and technical ability. Appears to be a work in progress who has let to really find his preferred working style.

GUSHIKEN (Great Thunder)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_GUSHIKEN.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko Udon Noodle Killers

Hometown: Morioka, Tohoku

Age: 41 / Height: 6ft, Weight: 265 Ibs

Finishers: GUSHIKEN Firebomb (Thunder Fire Powerbomb), GUSHIKEN Firebomb 02 (Elevated Powerbomb), GUSHIKEN Driver (Samoan Driver).

Signature Moves: GUSHIKEN Smash (Charging Elbow Smash), GUSHIKEN Series (Triple Rolling German Suplex), German Suplex,High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Release Belly to Belly Suplex, Scoop Powerslam, Uranage.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: A former multi time champion in other promotions, GUSHIKEN entered DIASPORA with a well established and respected reputation but thus far he has been unable to replicate that success in singles competition in DIASPORA- however he has recently found success in the tag ranks capturing the All Asia Tag Team Championship alongside Chojiro Ono- with the pairing looking to establish themselves a dominant duo.

The respect he had amongst wrestling fans saw GUSHIKEN enter DIASPORA as a beloved fan favourite, but he turned his back on their support when he was a key instigator in the formation of the rule breaking Kuro-Nadeshiko stable.

Bonito Flakes: GUSHIKEN has set up a sideline business for himself, where he offer those in financial hardship pay day loans at 20,000% APR. Apparently some desperate muggins have taken decided to take out his ridiculous loans, but his blatant greed has only served to make him even more despised with the Japanese public.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Prototypical puroresu powerhouse. With advancing age has tended to play down the more athletic parts of his move-set and has begun rely more on brawling/power.

Finishers: Grace's Fate (Top Rope Hurricanana, rolled through into a Rana Pin),All About Yen (Diving Leg Drop),Roll With It (Rolling Cutter)

Signature Moves: Kip Up Rana, Spinning Headscissors, Slingshot Body Press, Flying Double Axe Handle, Belly to Back Suplex, Basement Drop Kick.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Along with regular tag partner Kohei Hidaka as 'The Forgotten' Kasuse continues to be one of the most frustrated members of the DIASPORA roster- as the spotlight seems to shine on everyone else but them! Though it has to be said that the only way they can change that is if they begin to pick up the sort of victories to make both the DIASPORA match makers and fans take notice but that is of course easier said than done in the ultra competitive DIASPORA.

Bonito Flakes: Hideaki Kasuse could have followed followed in his father's footsteps and become a pharmacist, but he decided on a career in professional wrestling instead.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A vague mix of Japanese Junior and Mexican Lucha Libre. Could do with having a little more conviction with what kind of Junior Heavyweight wrestler he wants to be.

Finishers: Rejection (Fisherman Brainbuster), Rejection II (Backdrop Suplex) , Date with Pain (Elevated Boston Crab)

Signature Moves: German Suplex Hold, , Brainbuster, Fisherman Suplex, Beetle Suplex*, Release Belly to Belly Suplex, Exploder Suplex, Half Nelson Suplex, Sleeper Suplex, Spear, Diving Knee Drop, Sleeper Hold, Single Leg Boston Crab.

O.O.C Footnote: *It's the Thunderverse version of a Tiger Suplex

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Hiro Date is one half of perhaps the most respected heavyweight tag team in DIASPORA, the Tokyo Wrecking Crew. Though the pair lost the All Asia Tag titles to the Udon Noodle Killers, after somewhat goaded into defending the titles in a No DQ match that suited the nefarious way of their Kuro-Nadeshiko opponents, they are determined to rise to the challenge and win the titles back- though they also face stiff competition in their pursuit from fellow S.H.I.P pairing 'Team Ganbatte!'

Bonito Flakes: Hiro Date does 500 squats with a 50 kg sack of rice upon his shoulders every morning before breakfast.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Short and stacked, suplex machine.

Hiroto Nori (Battle)

Theme Music:

Affiliation: S.H.I.P

Hometown: Kagoshima, Kyushu

Age: 32 / Height: 5ft 9, Weight: 190 Ibs

Finishers: Flying Bonito (Sky Twister Press), Nigiri Serving (Leaping Reverse STO),Yakisoba (Tilt a Whirl Cross Arm Breaker)

Signature Moves: Endless Nori (Flurry of Kicks, ending with a High Kick to the Head), Missile Drop-Kick, Springboard Missile Dropkick, Rebound Drop-Kick, Corner to Corner Running Drop-Kick, Springboard Inverted DDT, Tornado DDT, Moonsault, Somersault Plancha, Reverse STO, Brainbuster, German Suplex, Dragon Suplex

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The S.H.I.P leader found himself in the hunt for the Super Junior title early in 2012, but ultimately the Full Metal Panic! Tour was a traumatic one for the man encompassed by his nickname 'Battle' with an increasingly bitter feud with the Kuro-Nadeshiko leader Sairento culminating in Hiroto Nori challenging Sairento to put his mask on the line in a Mascara Contra Caballera cage escape match, Nori put his own hair on the line as well, along with two other wrestler each from S.H.I.P and Kuro-Nadeshiko- ultimately the challenge backfired on Nori and he was the one to pay the price and suffer the indiginity of having his head shaved.

Motivated by revenge and still looking to reach his goal of becoming the Super Junior Champion, Nori will be looking to turn things around during the rest of 2012 both for himself and S.H.I.P.

Bonito Flakes: Hiroto Nori has a super high metabolism that means that he can eat over five times his own bodyweight and still maintain his ultra trim figure. Of course Nori insists on eating this amount of food every day and because he's always forgetting to bring his own money, it's his colleagues wallets that take a hammering in order to fund his voracious appetite.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: The epitome of a modern day Super Junior, mixing athletic high flying, technical ability and precision striking.

Hometown: Fukui, Chubu

Age: 21 / Height: 6ft 1, Weight: 240 Ibs

Finishers: Sea-Change (Spinning Side-Slam), Kamikochi Suplex (Northern Lights Suplex), Python Vise (Anaconda Vise)

Signature Moves: Gutbuster, Inverted Headlock Backbreaker, Swinging Neckbreaker, Inverted DDT, Delayed Vertical Suplex, Russian Legsweep

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Fed up of feeling like he was being held back by a deadweight partner, Horiuchi Inokuma turned on Aki Shimizudani, thus causing the break up of the ShimiKuma team- such actions never go down well with the fans even if the ShimiKuma team were hardly fan favourites to begin with but it appears that Inokuma cares little about that and that he is confident that he become a major player in DIASPORA's heavyweight ranks- whether or not the brash youngster can back that confidence up with victories over top level opponents are questions that Inokuma himself can only answer.

Bonito Flakes: Horiuchi Inokuma's favourite book is 'Kappa' by the Reverend Walter Weston- the man who lead the preservation of the Inokuma family's favourite (actually only) holiday destination Kamikochi.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: What I said for Go Takashi, applies here, Inokuma is another young heavyweight all-rounder who is still trying to find a style/focus that works for him.

The Who's Who of DIASPORA- June 2012 Edition (Part Two)

Chief Butler Wolfe

* Formerly known as Hunter Wolfe/Fuku Machine.

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/HunterWolfeTK_zps27c27d52.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Ambassadors Club

Hometown: Harrisburg, USA

Age: 22 / Height: 6ft 1 , Weight: 245 Ibs

Finishers: Redemption Bomb (Sitout Powerbomb), Hunting Strike ( Discus Elbow Strike), X-PLODER (Exploder Suplex).

Signature Moves: German Suplex Hold, Corner Clothesline, Flying Shoulder Tackle, Running Powerslam, High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Fireman's Carry Neckbreaker, Death Valley Driver, Fireman's Carry Backbreaker, Boston Crab, Sleeper Hold.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Hunter Wolfe entered life in DIASPORA as a gaijin young lion and though the physically impressive Wolfe, failed to gain any victories he did look competitive in the matches. However one day Wolf turned up as the mystery partner of the MOE! MONEY! tag team, but not as himself- wearing the traditional uniform of a Japanese schoolgirl he was re-named Fuku Machine.

However it appears that Wolfe was not fully consenting to this change, though it seemed like he couldn't fully shake off his new alter ego and so for the rest of the tour Hunter Wolfe was a very confused man- nor the fans nor his opponents knew who he would turn up as himself, Fuku Machine or sometimes a combination of both.

Desperate to shake off the 'spell' MOE! MONEY! had over him Wolfe teamed with another wrestler at odds with the bizarre duo Junichi Matsuo at Flowers of Hell, with the stipulation being that if they won MOE! MONEY! would leave them alone, but should they lose then they must form a stable with Meido Machine & HUSTLE Umiro, unfortunately for Wolfe Matsuo had a 'if you can't beat them, join them' epiphany and turned on Wolfe. With Wolfe now fully under MOE! MONEY's! control will he now fully embrace his alter ego or will he continue to fight against it?

Bonito Flakes: There are rumours that Hunter Wolfe, wears the Sailor Fuku off duty- those are rumours he vehemently denies of course.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: American powerhouse, who is clearly a fan of Puroresu, as behind the goofy gimmicks he has been saddled with he works a typical suplex based puro style.

Age: 26 / Height: 5ft 10, Weight: 205 Ibs

Finishers: Hustle Brother (Legsweep DDT), Hustle To The Top (Diving Elbow Drop), Out-Hustled (Backslide Pin)

Signature Moves: Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam, Lariat, Fireman's Carry Gutbuster, Fireman's Carry Facebuster. Corner Cannonball Splash, German Suplex, Snap Suplex with Theatrics, Release Belly to Belly Suplex, Senton Bomb.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: HUSTLE Umiro's alliance with Meido Machine, was a real head scratcher for the fans but the pairing of the rapping, break-dancing and hustling masked man with the cross dressing gaijin otaku has proven to be one of the most entertaining acts on the DIASPORA undercard.

The chalk and cheese duo have also proven themselves to be more than just a comedy act, with their playful antics providing a unique challenge for the more serious competitors of DIASPORA to try and overcome.

Bonito Flakes: HUSTLE Umiro once spent two months worth of salary on some gold grillz for his teeth.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Is a Junior Heavyweight but works more of a brawler/powerhouse style with injections of the flashy athleticism expected from a man of his size.

Theme Music: Fall of the Samurai

Affiliation: Silver Kings, Warriors of Tradition

Hometown: Hiroshima, Chugoku

Age: 42/ Height: 6ft, Weight: 230 Ibs

Finishers: Chugoku-Spike (Cradle Piledriver), Dragon Suplex (Full Nelson Suplex),Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick), Crucifix Arm Bar

Signature Moves: Superplex, Front Suplex,German Suplex, Belly to Back Suplex, Brainbuster, Snap DDT, Rope Hung DDT, Russian Legsweep, STO, Hangman's Neckbreaker, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Cloverleaf, STF, Discus Elbow.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Hyotaru Ichigawa saw his near year long reign as DIASPORA Heavyweight Champion brought to an end, as well as being forced to leave the Guardians of DIASPORA, both at the hands of one man....not anyone from rival factions Kuro-Nadeshiko or S.H.I.P but from a man within the Guardians themselves Eikichi Minamoto. Ichigawa succesfully defended the Heavyweight Championship against his former stable mate at Pro Wrestling Festival, but the rivalry only grew more intense and when the now bitter rivals clashed over the title again at Flowers Of Hell, this time Minamoto was able to get the better of Ichigawa.

Ichigawa will be looking to not only regain the Heavyweight Championship on DIASPORA's next tour but also be looking to gain revenge on Minamoto, whose actions forced Ichigawa out of the Guardians of DIASPORA.

Bonito Flakes: Hyotaru Ichigawa is a strong believer that Japan should be like it was during the Edo period, that's why his house is set out like an Edo era house and why he does not own a T.V.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Old school, technical/submission based wrestler. Is the type of wrestler who will focus on a body part with clinical precision in order to weaken his opponent.

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko

Hometown: Montererey, Mexico

Age: 26/ Height: 5ft 8, Weight: 175 Ibs

Finishers: Susurro De La Muerte (630 Senton), Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver),Sueno Permanente (Inverted Tornado DDT transitioned into a Sleeper)

Signature Moves: Bala De Dios (Flying Spinning Heel Kick), Spinning Heel Kick, Hurracanrana, Slingshot Rana, Poison Rana, Kip Up Rana, Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Facebuster, Tornado DDT, Moonsault, Standing Moonsault, Split Legged Moonsault, Arabian Press, Springboard Corkscrew Senton, Slingshot Corskcrew Senton Splash, Tombstone Piledriver, Tilt-A-Whirl Russian Legsweep

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Incognito continues to be left frustrated in his pursuit of championship gold with DIASPORA. His main focus at the beginning of the year, seemed to be on regaining the Junior Tag titles alongside Tian Long- but as their efforts came up short both men appeared to be turning their attention back to singles competition.

Incognito reminded everyone of the force that he is, with an (albeit tainted) victory over S.H.I.P leader Hiroto Nori, to earn a shot at the Super Junior Championship- though he came up short in his challenge against the ultra resilient Prime Dragon.

Clearly one of the most gifted high flyers ever to step inside of the ring, Incognito could be a fan favourite but the air of arrogance that he eludes and his willingness to bend the rules, means that the fans are more than happy to see him come up short in his quest to be recognised at the top man.

Bonito Flakes: Incognito has commissioned the building of a 30 ft high gold statue of himself to be built in his home city of Monterey in Mexico.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Luchador with a mean streak and an extremely high opinion of himself.

Theme Music: Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai

Age: 23/ Height: 5ft 10/ Weight: 200 Ibs

Finishers: Fanservice (Double Leg Cradle Pin), Heavy Rotation (450 senton), J-Pop Powerplex (Twisting Falcon Arrow)

Signature Moves: Beetle Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, Brainbuster, Falcon Arrow, Springboard Cutter, Springboard Tornado DDT, Hurracanrana, Spinning Head-scissors into an Octopus Stretch, Standing Corkscrew Moonsault, Tornado Kick, Corner to corner missile drop-kick, Corkscrew Plancha.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Accompanied by his bishojo dancers Junichi Matsuo entered DIASPORA as a confident figure, but though he was competitive in his matches- Matsuo was failing to pick up victories. MOE! MONEY! observed/advised that this was down to Matsuo operating as a lone wolf, and that he should consider aligning himself with them.

Matsuo however, rejected their approach and seemed determined to prove to them that he did not need their help, even ditching the dancers to show himself to be an ultra serious competitor- however whatever he did Matsuo could not pick up a win. MOE! MONEY! would not stay off his case, over his failure to emerge with a victory and it all came to a head when Matsuo along with Hunter Wolfe, challenge MOE! MONEY! to a tag match, where should he and Wolfe lose, they would accept being aligned with Meido and HUSTLE.

In a suprising twist, Matsuo came to a realisation that being aligned with the bizarre pair was probably better than the direction he was heading in, and he turned on Wolfe during the match- ensuring that MOE! MONEY! picked up the victory and for a new alliance to be born.

With Matsuo now fully accepting once again, of who he truly is- can he now not only pick up that elusive first victory but kick on, and proove himself to be a real success in DIASPORA.

Bonito Flakes: Junichi Matsuo was the centre of a 'harem' at high school- having four girlfriends on the go at the same time- unsurprisingly he's no longer with any of the four girls.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Much like Hiroto Nori works a typical modern day Super Junior style, but tends to 'work the crowd' more and mixes in more American 'sports entertainment' character work to his matches.

Finishers: Mitsubishi Power Punch (Right Hook Punch)

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, Flurry of Punches, Knee Lift, Belly to Back Suplex, DDT, Backbreaker.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Following Taheji Ebisawa's lead in leaving the Guardians of DIASPORA, in protest at Prime Dragon's failure to kick Eikichi Minamoto out of the faction, was the most signicant action Kan Mitsubishi has done of late, because the man with a Fist of Granite, has struggled of late.

When Mitsubishi's Power Punch connects, it is devastating for his opponents but of late Mitsubishi hasn't been able to do that. Mitsubishi needs to once again find the way to picking up wins, or he could run the risk of finding himself unable to keep up with the stiff competition within DIASPORA.

Bonito Flakes: Should his wrestling career come to an end anytime, the store manager at the Uwajima store of Lawson's that Kan Mitsubishi used to be employed at, said there is a job waiting for him.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Probably sees himself as a 'spark plug' brawler but more often than not lacks the 'spark'.

Age: 35/ Height: 5ft 9, Weight: 175 Ibs

Finishers: Bite and Bark (Diving Bulldog),Flying Cross Body Press

Signature Moves: Leg Lariat, Running Bulldog, Spinning Headscissors Takedown, Slingshot Crossbody, Missile Drop-Kick, Belly to Back Suplex, Gory Neckbreaker.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: When Hidaka's regular tag partner Hideaki Kasuse was briefly out of action, the 'Red Dog' teamed up with fellow frustrated grizzled veteran Yachi Kotara, though it has to be said that Hidaka's fortune's did not change. Hidaka has since began regularly teaming once again with Kasuse, but has 'the Forgotten' have retained their unofficial alliance with kindred spirit Kotara.

Be it in singles or tag team competition Hidaka will be looking to secure the victories to make the DIASPORA Championship committee sit up and take notice and give him the opportunities to be in the sort of top of the card/high profile matches, he is desperate to be a part of.

In July, Kohei Hidaka turned on his tag partner Hideaki Kasuse, and after joining Kuro-Nadeshiko overhauled his image and re-emerged as HIDAKA.

Bonito Flakes: Kohei Hidaka will tell you that he was a really good baseball player, and he does not know why scouts from the Nippon Professional Baseball league weren't clamoring to get him signed up. Truth is Hidaka, was a good defensive player but only had a .205 batting average, had weak bat power and the only reason his high school got to the prestigious high school baseball tournament, was because of other players.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Basic Junior Heavyweight, who gets out-shined by flashier workers.

Finishers: End Game (Clutched Knee Strike Flurry),Gurren Driver (Scoop Slam Piledriver), Gurren MK II Driver (Sitout Side Driver), Knightmare Frame (Bridging Cobra Clutch)

Signature Moves: Step Up Corner Knee Strike, Diving Knee Drop, Sheer drop Brainbuster, Cobra Clutch Suplex, German Suplex, Flip Neckbreaker, Flying Fore Arm Smash, Missile Drop-Kick, Bulldog/Basement Drop-Kick combo.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: It was a frustrating tour for Kotei Yamato, as New Solution lost the Junior Tag Titles at Neon Genesis Evolution and were then unable to win them back.

However alongside regular tag partner Shintaro Hideki, Yamato did feature in the main event at Flowers of Hell, the mascara contra caballera cage escape match. Though he would have been disappointed to see their S.H.I.P leader Hiroto Nori be the one forced to have his head shaved, by escaping the cage Yamato did secure himself a shot at the Junior Championship on the next tour- could such an opportunity be the spark to help springboard 'Pin Point' into the upper echelons of DIASPORA?

Bonito Flakes: Motorbike enthusiast Kotei Yamato, can hold a wheelie for over a minute.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Striking/Technical based Super Junior. Can take to the air, but his game is more about grounding his (often flashier) opponents and wearing them down.

Age: 40/ Height: 6ft 1, Weight: 255 Ibs

Finishers: Arato Suplex (Half Nelson Choke Suplex), Gotch Suplex (Dead Lift German Suplex), Dreamland (Rear Naked Choke)

Signature Moves: Arato-Lariat, Running Hip Attack, Release German Suplex, Release Belly to Belly Suplex, Powerbomb, Scoop Powerslam, Uranage, Side Slam Backbreaker, Half Nelson Backbreaker.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: After failing for a third time to win back the Heavyweight title from Hyotaru Ichigawa at Neon Genesis Evolution, Koto Arato dropped out of the title picture to regroup.

During that period, Go Takashi entered DIASPORA and joined S.H.I.P, with Arato taking the young lion under his wing- the pair went on to form an effective tag team, entitled Team Ganbatte!! and though the pair have yet to capture tag team gold- they do appear to have a bright future ahead of them as a tandem.

Arato probably has not given up on becoming heavyweight champion again, but for now he seems just as serious in his pursuit of winning the All Asia Tag Team titles alongside Go Takashi.

Bonito Flakes: In a challenge to Chojiro Ono's boast that he knows 100 Udon Noodle recipes, Koto Arato claims that he can come up with 100 Umeboshi recipes, including Umeboshi Strudel, Umeboshi Pasty, Umeboshi Parfait and Umeboshi Pizza.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: The epitome of a puro powerhouse. Lariats and suplexes are certainly on the menu!

Age: 26 / Height: 5ft 9 , Weight: 180 Ibs

Finishers: Meido Beam (Missile Drop-Kick with theatrics), Nyan-Lock (Keylock), Moe Moe Clutch(Double Leg Nelson Pin)

Signature Moves: Moe Time Freeze (Meido Machine throws up a heart symbol causing anyone else in the ring to stop in mid-motion until one of them is hit by Meido- only works once per match), Snap Suplex with theatrics, Northern Lights Suplex, Brainbuster, Rolling Cutter, Tornado DDT, STO, Diving Cross Body Splash, Moonsault, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Cloverleaf, Rolling Cradle.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The bizarre cross dressing gaijin Otaku Meido Machine entered DIASPORA at the beginning of the year and at first he seems to be little more than a novelty comedy act, however despite his baffling antics providing plenty of comedic gold, he has also shown himself to be an effective competitor, especially alongside HUSTLE Umiro, as the odd couple tag team of MOE! MONEY!

Bonito Flakes: Meido Machine owns the entire catalogue of Figma poseable Figurines, including all the special editions.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: If you look beyond the goofy character, he is actually a very capable super Junior who has a technical mat-based leaning to his work. However because of the character he has chosen to go with, he tends to work a lot of wacky comedy spots into his matches.

Finishers: Fearless (Flying Clothesline), Sumida Bridge (Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex), Tokyo Tower (Vertical Suplex Side Slam)

Signature Moves: Frog Splash, Diving Crossbody, Missile Dropkick, Leaping Lariat/Fore-arm smash, Samoan Drop, Falcon Arrow, Slingshot Suplex, Superplex, STO, Flapjack, One Handed Bulldog, Single Leg Boston Crab.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Oda Yamawaki will have been disappointed to lose the All Asia Tag Team Titles, and not only are the Tokyo Wrecking faced with the challenge of winning them back from the Udon Noodle Killers they also face stiff competition from within S.H.I.P in the form of Team Ganbatte!!. The TWC are still seen as the best heavyweight tag team in DIASPORA by much of the fanbase and many feel that it's question of when not if they win back the tag team gold.

Bonito Flakes: Oda Yamawaki is currently in the process of recording a hip hop mix-tape that he plans to post onto the internet.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Ultra athletic Heavyweight, who if he was 30 Ibs lighter would fit right in with the Junior Heavyweight division. However his fast paced/ high flying style, probably stands out more as a Heavyweight, than if he was a super junior!

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Known simply as Chi? this odd newcomer suddenly appeared in DIASPORA's rings around June, and people have no idea why because this mysterious young man, does not appear to have any idea what he is doing in a wrestling ring.

The real question is how is someone so clueless allowed to step into a wrestling ring in the first place.

Bonito Flakes: Rumour has it that Chi? is in fact a fighter of incredible ability and that his powers have been locked away, in fear that he may just be too powerful to contain.,

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Honestly who allowed this clown to even step into the ring ?! He clearly does not know how to fight.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: When the Silver Kings leader Hyotaru Ichigawa took a short break following his defeat in the finals of the Grand Master Cup, he came across the young warrior known as Wakizashi.

Embodying the spirit of a Samurai warrior, Wakizashi is part of a new generation (along with Taheji Ebisawa) following the guidance of respected veterans Hyotaru Ichigawa, Prime Dragon and Taheji Ebisawa as part of the Silver Kings faction.

Bonito Flakes: Wakizashi claims to be a descendent of Oda Nobunaga- Absolutely no one believes him.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: This young lion is all about fighting spirit and a hard hitting traditional puroresu style, combining hard striking and powerful slams. In fact out of anyone on the roster, Wakizashi resembles a younger slightly more athletic version of Koto Arato.

Hometown: Wigan, England

Age: 27 / Height: 5ft 10 , Weight: 200 Ibs

Finishers: Majestic Suplex (Cross Face Chickenwing Suplex) , Princes Lock (Arm Trap Crossface) , At Her Majesties Pleasure (Diving European Uppercut)

Signature Moves: German Suplex Hold, Release Belly to Back Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, Russian Legsweep, Knee Lift, European Uppercut, Diving Knee Drop, Flying Cross Body, Hammerlock DDT, Figure Four Leglock, Crossface Chickenwing, Armbar.

www.diaspora.jp profile: 'The New Prince of Old School' Paul Crowley made his debut alongside long time tag partner Ebi Kavidar at Flowers of Hell, with the pair unsuccessfully challenging Whispered for the Junior Tag Titles. It is thought that the Ambassadors Club pursuit of the titles is not over after just one loss and that they are determined to not only prove their worth in DIASPORA but as one of the best Junior Heavyweight tag teams in the world.

Bonito Flakes: When listening to music, Paul Crowley only likes to listen to bands from the Greater Manchester era of England, such as The Stone Roses, Oasis, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and his personal favourites Northside.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A technical/submission based Junior Heavyweight, who is all about grounding/wearing down his opponents.

Prime Dragon (The Grand Pillar)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_PrimeDragon.jpg

Theme Music: Sorairo Days

Affiliation: Silver Kings

Hometown: Yokohama, Kanto

Age: 47/ Height: 5ft 8, Weight: 190 Ibs

Finishers: Dragonsault (Springboard Moonsault),Dragon's Bite (Inverted Facelock Sleeper), Dragon's Flame (Moonsault Side-Slam), Prime Driver (Over the Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver),Prime Driver 2000 (Wrist Clutch Belly to Back Piledriver)

Signature Moves: Palm Strike, Leaping Palm Strike, Rolling Wheelkick, Iconoclasm, Brainbuster, Superplex,Running Powerbomb, Sunset Flip Powerbomb, Victory Roll, Spinning Headscissors,Moonsault, Rolling Senton Splash, Octopus Stretch, Cross Legged Inverted STF.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: 2012 has been a testing year thus far for the leader of the Guardians of DIASPORA. The 'Grand Pillar' has seen off challenges from Sairento, Hiroto Nori, Tian Long and Incognito for the Super Junior Championship but each time the ageing icon has just about escaped with victory, by the skin of his teeth through sheer determination, and one has to wonder just how much more Dragon can endure both physically and mentally in order to stay at the very top of the DIASPORA mountain.

Trying to retain the most prestigious Junior Heavyweight championship in the world, would be enough for anyone to concern themsleves with, but the emergence of newly crowned Heavyweight champion Eikichi Minamoto as a somewhat poisonous influence within the Guardians, is also causing problems for Dragon's leadership skills. Thus far Dragon has given Minamoto backing, perhaps believing the Heavyweight champion will come through and prove himself valuable to the Guardians cause- in spite of the fact that Minamoto blatantly turned on Ichigawa, to force the now former Heavyweight champion out of Guardians- suffice to say the 'Grand Pillars' lack of action involving Minamoto has not gone down well.

Bonito Flakes: It is rumoured that Prime Dragon has never taken off his mask since he put on. One has to wonder though how he washes/shaves his face in the morning.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A genuine legend of Super Junior wrestling. In his younger days he worked a more flashier style (though admittedly not as innovative as some of those influenced by him), but with advancing years has slowed down and has adapted his style to work in more power based moves along with a stronger focus on striking and technical ability.

Sairento (Silent Reaper)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Sairento.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko

Hometown: Nagasaki, Kyushu

Age: 35/ Height: 5ft 11, Weight: 215 Ibs

Finishers: Silence (Pentagram Choke), Death Note (Spike Brainbuster),Absolute Terror (Front Knee Strike to the Face), Ryuk's Apple (Cuthroat Inverted Death Valley Driver).

Signature Moves: Kuro Stomp (Surfboard Curb Stomp), Facewash, Rolling Elbow, Yakuza Kick, Diving Double Stomp, Diving Elbow Drop, Poison Rana, Death Valley Driver, Brainbuster, Double Underhook Powerbomb, Crucifix Powerbomb, Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker, STO Backbreaker, Straight Jacket Choke Hold, Sleeper Hold. Ankle Lock.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The leader of Kuro-Nadeshiko will be angered by the fact that he has failed to reclaim the Super Junior Championship from Prime Dragon, but the 'Silent Reaper' will remain undettered in his pursuit of becoming champion and in his and Kuro-Nadeshiko's mission in destroying the competition- namely the Guardians of DIASPORA and S.H.I.P.

Despite Prime Dragon being the one to hold the title he desperately wants back, it's an increasingly heated rivalry with fellow top contender Hiroto Nori, that currently seems brimming with more intensity, and heading into the next tour it's the sadistic leader of Kuro-Nadeshiko who has the upper hand, after Hiroto Nori was forced to shave his head, when Sairento was able to escape the cage in the Mascara contra Caballera main event at Flowers of Hell.

Bonito Flakes: Sairento has a gym in the basement of his house, where he perfects his ultra violent move-set on blow up dolls.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: An ultra-violent, sadistic Junior Heavyweight 'bully'. He rarely goes for the sort of flashy/high-risk offence associated with many of his peers in the Super Junior Divison and much prefers to wear down his opponent with vicious striking and shuddering head drops.

Theme Music: World End

Affiliation: S.H.I.P, New Solution

Hometown: Kyoto, Kansai

Age: 26/ Height: 5ft 11, Weight: 200 Ibs

Finishers: Shiranui (Backflip Inverted DDT),Final Base (Half Nelson Lifted Wheelbarrow Driver), Superkick, Hideki Special (Northern Lights Suplex Flipped into a Cross Arm Bar)

Signature Moves: Northern Lights Suplex, Release German Suplex, Falcon Arrow, Springboard Enziguri, Missile Drop-Kick, Standing Moonsault, Dropsault, Corner to Corner Drop-kick, Diving Leg-Drop, Suicide Dive, Diving Facebuster, STO, Tornado DDT, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Cross Armbar.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: It could be pointed out that despite Shintaro Hideki increasingly getting the better of Soh Terajima, his feud with the Kuro-Nadeshiko irritant went someway to costing New Solution the Junior Tag Team Titles.

They are title's that New Solution remain determined to win back, but with both Yamato and Hideki earning opportunities at singles glory with guaranteed title shots at the Super Junior Championship will they remain focused at their shared goal to once again return to the Junior Tag team summit.

Bonito Flakes: During his days off, Shintaro Hideki often frequents maid-cafe's, citing that their a great place to relax.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Another typical Super Junior, though is definitely more of the flashy high flyer in comparison to his regular tag team partner Kotei Yamato. Very fond of Superkicks!

Soh Terajima (Cloaked Assassin)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_SohTerajima.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko, The Salty Delinquents

Hometown: Aomori, Tohoku

Age: 27/ Height: 5 ft 9 , Weight: 195 Ibs

Finishers: Soh The Seeds of Tera (Forward Somersault Jawbreaker) ,Cloak and Dagger (Flying Neckbreaker), Eastern Misery (Forward Russian Legsweep)

Signature Moves: Black Box Shot (Illegal Foreign Object Shot), Low Blow Victory Roll, Rolling Cradle, Diving Splash/Senton, Front Missile Drop-kick, Spinning Heel Kick, Diving Bulldog, Snap DDT, Swinging Inverted Inverted DDT, Whiplash, Brainbuster, Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Dragon Sleeper, Surfboard.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: One of the most despised heels on the DIASPORA roster, due to his shameless cheating, Terajima might not always come out on top in terms of wins and losses but along with his fellow Salty Delinquent, Blood Spider Jr- he retains the ability to get under the skin of both his opponents and the fans of DIASPORA.

As long as he is helping to cause disruption to Kuro-Nadeshiko's rivals, then Terajima will feel that he is doing 'his job' and perhaps despite the fact that he often comes out on the losing end it's a willingness to 'take one for the team' that has seen him remain part of Kuro-Nadeshiko.

Bonito Flakes: Soh Terajima has racked up massive debts due to his Pachinko gambling habits and is currently in the midst of paying back GUSHIKEN on a pay-day loan.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Unable to compare favourably with more exciting opponents amongst the Super-Junior ranks, Terajima has found his niche as a short cut taking, foreign object wielding heel.

Taheji Ebisawa (Forceful Dagger)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TaheijiEbisawa.jpg

Theme Music: Tommorow

Affiliation: Silver Kings, Warriors of Tradition

Hometown: Uruma, Okinawa

Age: 25 / Height: 6 ft , Weight: 260 Ibs

Finishers: Ebisawa Complex (Swinging Side Slam Backbreaker), Okinawan Crab (Reverse Boston Crab), Belly2Helly (Release Belly to Belly Suplex), Dozer (Spear)

Signature Moves: Belly to Belly Suplex, German Suplex, Gutwrench Suplex, Gutwrench Powerbomb, Scoop Powerslam, Swinging Sideslam, Uranage, Sit-out Full Nelson Atomic Drop, Death Valley Driver, Firemans Carry Backbreaker, Torture Rack, Sleeper Hold, Bearhug, Running Corner Splash, Lariat.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The young powerhouse Taheji Ebisawa debuted in DIASPORA at the start of the year, and despite not being a DIASPORA original, his honest approach saw him recruited into the Guardians of DIASPORA. However when Prime Dragon failed to take action after Minamoto turned on Ichigawa, to force the then Heavyweight Champion out of the Guardians, Ebisawa quit the faction in protest.

Strong and determined, Ebisawa has proven himself able to strongly compete within DIASPORA, and it is thought that should Hyotaru Ichigawa wish to form a new faction, then it is likely Ebisawa will be a part of it, due to his show of loyalty towards his fellow former Guardian.

Bonito Flakes: Taheji Ebisawa wants to open up a snow monkey sanctuary on his home Island of Okinawa.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: A young heavyweight powerhouse, who looks set to carry on the tradition of 'suplex and lariat' style workers in the vein of Koto Arato.

Talisman (The Second Coming)

Theme Music: God Knows

Affiliation: Temple of Tsukamoto, Whispered

Hometown: Kagoshima, Kyushu

Age: 22/ Height: 5ft 8, Weight: 180 Ibs

Finishers: Golden Idol (Shooting Star Press), Platinum Idol (360 Shooting Star Press),God Know's (Spinning Headcissors into a Crucifix Pin), Higurashi (Front Flip Facebuster counter to Powerbomb)

Signature Moves: Standing Corkscrew Shooting Star Press, Standing Corkscrew Moonsault, Springboard Shooting Star Press, Split Legged Moonsault, Hurracanrana, Slingshot Rana, Somersault Plancha, Tope Con Hilo, Spinning Headscissors facebuster, Tornado DDT, Standing Shiranui, Diving Front Flip Stunner, Beetle Suplex, Spin Out Side Powerbomb, Spinning Sit-out Sleeper Slam, Spinning Head-scissors Octopus Stretch, Spinning Headscissors into crucifix arm-bar takedown.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The bond between Talisman, and his mentor Zodiac became even stronger in 2012, when they decided to make their occasional tag team, a regular focus in order to pursue the Junior Tag Team Championship.

It's a decision that has paid off, as the team now known as 'Whispered' captured the Junior Tag Team Championship at Neon Genesis Evolution and the exciting pair have looked unstoppable ever since, proving themselves to currently be the best Junior Tag Team in the world.

Bonito Flakes: Talisman had a number of part time jobs whilst attending high school, but quit every one of them after only one day- frustrated at the fact that his fellow work colleagues could not work at the same level as him.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Ultra-flashy and innovative high flyer. His matches can sometimes have a tendency to drift a little, whilst he work in his 'spots' but he certainly has all the potential to go on to become a future great.

Age: 50/ Height: 5ft 7, Weight: 190 Ibs

Finishers: Corkscrew From Heaven (Corkscrew Senton),Dynasty Lock (Inverted STF),Emperor Driver (Sit Out Side Powerslam)

Signature Moves: Chokeslam, Dragon Suplex, German Suplex, Trapping Suplex, Sleeper Suplex, Reverse Chokeslam Facebuster, Belly to Back wheelbarrow facebuster, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Figure Four Leglock, Senton Splash, Moonsault, Hurracanrana.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The Chinese born legend, had shots at both the Super Junior Championship and Junior Tag Team championship during the Full Metal Panic! Tour but he failed to capitalize.

On the plus side for the 'Imperial One' after he was able to escape the cage in the Mascara Contra Caballera main event- he is guaranteed another shot at the Super Junior Championship on the up-coming tour- though one has to wonder at his age, just how many more opportunities Long will have left to once again claim championship gold.

Bonito Flakes: Known for being a keen book reader away from the wrestling ring- Tian Long managed to finish War and Peace in a single day.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Much like fellow Junior Heavyweight veteran Tian Long has had to adapt his game over the years, to focus less on high-flying and more on technical or power based moves. That being said the 50 year old can still take to the air when he wants to, with relative ease.

Xtinction (Everybody's Shadow)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Xtinction.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Unknown

Age: 31/ Height: 5ft 9, Weight: 170 Ibs

Finishers: X.L.E (Tilt-A-Whirl DDT), Spot X (Standing Corkscrew Shooting Star Press), Super Spot X (Shooting Star Press)

Signature Moves: Corkscrew Moonsault, Standing Moonsault, Somersault Plancha, Suicide Dive, Flying Spinning Heel Kick, Diving Facebuster, Spinning Bulldog, Front Flip Cutter, Springboard Cutter, Belly to Back Facebuster, La Magistral Cradle.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: Xtinction remain the biggest mystery in DIASPORA, nobody knows who this man in black with X's for eyes is, and there's even rumours that Xtinction may not even be the same person from one day to the next. In fact this man is such a mystery, even his (lack of) entrance music is a mystery.

Just what is his purpose and why are the DIASPORA officials allowing such a rogue element compete within their organisation?

Bonito Flakes: Ssome lunatic (who claims to be a 'Slider') is claiming that the mystery known as Xtinction is able to cross universes and in one of these paralllel universes Xtinction is a big star in a Mexican promotion called South of the Border Pro Wrestling...

Unsurprisingly no one believes him, citing that if he's going to make up stories, then that he would need to come up with a better name for a made up wrestling promotion, for his claims to even sound remotely believable.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Super flashy high-flying Super Junior, however he rarely executes his moves the way he intended to and often ends up 'accidentally' taking himself out. This has resulted in him ending up as a sort of comedic cult figure, rather than him competing with the likes of Incognito, Talisman and Zodiac as DIASPORA's most impressive aerial artist.

Super mysterious, there are rumours that there is actually more than one of him and there is constant debate over whether he is a sloppy botcher who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a wrestling ring or is a slapstick genius.

Hometown: Inuyama,Chubu

Age: 37/ Height: 5ft 9, Weight: 235 Ibs

Finishers: North Lights Suplex (Northern Lights Suplex), Bend of Will (Bow and Arrow Hold)

Signature Moves: Double Knee Backbreaker, Chokeslam Backbreaker, Lifting DDT, Piledriver, Scoop Lift Powerbomb, Belly to Belly Suplex, German Suplex, Knee Drop, Running Knee Lift, Boston Crab.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: When Yachi Kotara, tagged with The Forgotten's Kohei Hidaka, when Hideaki Kasuse was out injured- it seemed to be a one off thing at first, but in the Forgotten, the grizzled veteran appears to have found kindred spirits and has losely continued his association with a pair, that like himself continue to be frustrated by a lack of opportunities to prove themselves in more relevant matches.

Later in the tour when Kotara randomnly tagged with both Junichi Matsuo and Xtinction, he failed to find a connection with either man, which may well lead to him strengthening his ties with The Forgotten.

Bonito Flakes: Yachi Kotara's thrash metal band Inverted Lobotomy have regular bookings in the Chubu Region- playing in front of about 20 die-hard fans (most likely made up of their families- suffering through gritted teeth).

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Looks as though he should be a mean and vicious brawler, but is actually more of a technical mat-based heavyweight. He has struggled to connect with the crowd over the years and perhaps would be wise to change up his fight-style, in order to salvage his wrestling career.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: There is little doubt that Zodiac is one of the most exciting and innovative Super Juniors in the world and that one day the inaugral Super Junior Champion will once again challenge for the top prize in DIASPORA but for now alongside his protege Talisman, his focus appears to be on retaining the Junior Tag Team Titles, they won at Neon Genesis Evolution and carving out a legacy that will see 'Whispered' viewed as being one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

Bonito Flakes: Zodiac claims to have very vivid dreams about his up-coming matches, which have often led to him having premonitions about inventing new moves.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: If you looked up the word innovative, it would have a picture of this man next to it. Primarily mixing spectacular high-flying and unique submissions, one Zodiac match is never the same as the other!

RIKU (The Virus)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_RIKU.jpg

Theme Music:

Affiliation: Kuro-Nadeshiko

www.diaspora.jp.profile: A vicious competitor with a delinquent like attitude, the man they call the 'Virus' was revealed to be the newest recruit to Kuro-Nadeshiko, when he interfered in the Super Junior Championship match between Prime Dragon and Sairento on the first show of the Blazing Eye Tour and though he did not directly decide the outcome of the match, his prescence was surely a factor in the title changing hands to his leader Sairento.

Bonito Flakes: RIKU claims that he has a glass of liquidized Tuna and Sardine guts for breakfast every day.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Kind of like a darker version of Oda Yamawaki, in that he's an athletic heavyweight who is not afraid of going to the top turnbuckle, but has a much work violent strike based element to his work.

Nyan Nyan Neko Man (The Feline Enigma)

* Suspected to be Shiki Hirasi

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_ShikiHirasialt_zps5ae04e13.jpg?t=1359837837

Theme Music:

Signature Moves: Shining Wizard, STF, German Suplex, Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Bettle Suplex, Hangman's Neckbreaker, Rolling Cutter, STO, Reverse STO, Running Knee Lift.

www.diaspora.jp.profile: The strange and mysterious Nyan Nyan Neko Man, first made himself known to DIASPORA when he provided a distracting presence in several of Tuturu!'s matches- before eventually revealing himself as the latest addition the group. There is the feeling behind the odd-ball cat-man get up there is someone already familiar to DIASPORA audiences, that he is in fact Shiki Hirasi in disguise, but that had yet to be proven.

Bonito Flakes: When he's not wrestling Nyan Nyan Neko Man, likes long naps and washing himself. Sometimes though he suddenly gets a burst of energy to just randomly chase something round a room, before going back to sleep again.

Saga's Fight Style Opinion: Appears to be the Heavyweight equivalent of Meido Machine. He's clearly a capable technical wrestler but it's hidden beneath layers of bizarre comedy.

The Who's Who of DIASPORA- Junel 2012 Edition (Part Four)

Fumetsu

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Fumetsu.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: The legendary Fumetsu pioneered the Super Junior style, and is not only a beloved icon amongst the fans but also the very wrestlers that he has helped to inspire and follow in his revered foot-steps. Long since retired from in-ring competiton, these days Fumetsu works in an advisory capacity behind the scenes with the occasional appearance in front of his still adoring fans.

Bonito Flakes: Fumetsu made wrestling in a mask acceptable and cool- before Fumetsu only wrestlers ashamed of their wrestling abilities wore a mask.

Makoto Makoto

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_MakotoMakoto.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: Though not as revered as a Fumetsu, Makoto Makoto 'The Guy So Nice the named in twice' is a succesful former wrestler in his own right, being a former two time Junior Heavyweight and former three time Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champion, and had it not been for his career being cut prematurely short by a chronic back injury- then he may well have added further to his own legacy.

Post wrestling he went into media work, with his new career landing him the anchor role on a daytime chat/magazine show. However Makoto Makoto was lured back to the wrestling world and is currently working in a backstage advisory capacity.

Bonito Flakes: Makoto Makoto has a strong dislike for one of his former daytime T.V co-hosts, 'Japan's premier transvesite comedian' Sushi Sue.

Masuru Sugimura

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_RefereeMasaruSugimura.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: Masaru Sugimura is the head referee in DIASPORA. A well respected veteran referee, as of late though people have begun to question Sugimura's abiilities to call things fairly, with a number of questionable refereering decisions being made by Sugimura during the early part of 2012.

Bonito Flakes: Masaru Sugimura, once went on a trip to England and when there fell in love with the sweets known as Werthers Original. Sugimura now imports the sweets in on a regular basis- as they aren't widely available in Japan.

Keita Ochida

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_RefereeKeitaOchida.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: Keita Ochida is a referee in DIASPORA. At this moment in time he is behind the veteran Sugiimura, in terms of pecking order for calling the big matches but he is hoping over time he will rise to the head referee position.

Bonito Flakes: Ochida has University graduate honours in Economics, Business and Law. With those sort of qualifications, one has to wonder what he's doing as a wrestling referee.

Shun'en Kogara

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_ShunenKogara.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: Known to millions of DIASPORA fans as 'the voice of DIASPORA' Shun'en Kogara is the man who calls the thrilling action that takes place inside of a DIASPORA wrestling ring.

Bonito Flakes: Fans think that Kogara's favourite move is the Jumping High Kick, because of his supposed enthusiasm for calling out the move multiple times in match- the truth is actually that Kogara fails to tell the difference between a Gamengiri, Enziguri, Drop-kick etc....and calls any move that involves kicking an opponent whilst jumping up into the air a Jumping High Kick.

Tadashi Saga

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TadashiSaga.jpg

http://www.diaspora.jp.profile: Shun'en Kogara's broadcasting colleague, Saga is well respected amongst wrestling fans for his genuine enthusiasm and encyclopedic knowledge of wrestling.

Bonito Flakes: Saga's all time hero is Fumetsu, though he has worked with Fumetsu for many years, he still greets the Super Junior legend like a star-struck eight year old.

Looks like everything is coming along fine so far! I'm iffy on putting former members in the middle of the member's section for factions. I think it's clearer if there is a Former Members category instead. I wonder if Guardians are going to do any recruiting? I'm also wondering if Xtinction will end up being a faction when we find out just how many of him there really are. ;)

You're right about the membership thing for the factions it does look a bit 'odd'- I'll seperate them out so that it looks clearer.

First set of roster profiles (no Takayuki's thoughts this time- because I would only be repeating myself on what I said during the roster appraisals at the end of the original diary).

Have decided to do a full move-set this time for the workers- because it actually helps as a resource when doing the match write-ups :)

You will also notice that the wrestlers now have entrance music, no one will be surprised what so ever where I've got most of my source material for the theme songs :D

I'm fully expecting the MOE MONEY faction to be like Tozawa-juku! That would be awesome

Much like Tozawa-juku, you can probably expect them to be removed from the main faction warfare and for them to be somewhat of a 'comedy' stable, also with the dancing already there with MOE! MONEY! and Junichi Matsuo (when he's not uber serious), there's also something of a PoS Hearts influence.

Things are going to be a bit slow, the first few months with this diary. Firstly I'm waiting on the latest version of the Thunderverse mod to get this thing going, plus also I'm going to be moving end of January- not moving far, but I'm still moving- so naturally a good chunk of my time during the next month, is going to be taken up with that.

I should have the next batch of profiles up before Christmas though.

Second set of roster profiles are now up

Hoping to have the next set up, sometime next week.

I know I said, I would have the next set of profiles up next week- but I decided to give myself as bit of a push and actually post up the rest of the in-ring performer profiles up before Christmas.

Will Oda Yamawaki post his mixtape soon??? It'll be an awesome present!

I think what everyone really wants to see in DIASPORA is a rap battle between HUSTLE Umiro and Oda Yamawaki (a.k.a MC Yama) :p

Anyway final bits of the roster guides are now up. Anyway as I said before I'm just waiting on the new Thunderverse database- before this thing really gets going properly, but I should have some 'Chronicles of Takayuki' up between now and then.

The Chronicles of Takayuki- Silent Warning

My first tour as head booker of DIASPORA was now consigned to history and it appeared I had done enough to continue on in the job. Sure it was kind of thrust upon me and seems like I’m surrounded by lunatics everywhere I turn- but I actually came to enjoy my job, after all as a lifelong Puroresu fan, why wouldn’t I enjoy what could be considered to be a dream job?

When I devised the Extreme Puroresu Warfare games, it was because deep down being a booker for a puroresu promotion is what I already dreamed of- of course I never thought for a million years that the opportunity would actually come along and such games certainly do not prefer you for a boss who never takes his mask off and one of your star wrestlers have a psychotically obsessive girlfriend.

Anyway the month of March was a rest period for DIASPORA, and it was actually good to be back home in Osaka, sure my own place was as pokey as they come, but it was just good to have my own bed back for more than just one night. Being on the road and sleeping on random hotel beds really makes you appreciate your own- and it wasn’t as if though Dragon-san was prepared to fork out a little extra and get us into a decent hotel, it was always one of those budget hotels, that serve the crappy Miso soup and Onigiri breakfasts- that make you want to find the nearest Lawson’s or whatever convenience store may be nearby and buy something that little extra (like a Melon Pan) to make you feel like you’ve had a satisfying breakfast.

In all honesty I think if Dragon-san thought he could get away with it, he would probably put us all up in one of those capsule hotels- but I think the likes of GUSHIKEN-san and Ono-san would protest too much. Something which surely wouldn’t have been a road block to such cheap-skatery, if Dragon-san made DIASPORA a Junior Heavyweight only promotion, as opposed to a Junior Heavyweight focused promotion.

As comfortable as my bed was, I didn’t want to be cooped up in it all day, nor did I want to be spending my time back in Osaka stuck in my pokey apartment, but even though it was now March, it was as though mother nature was in a foul mood and had taken her irritation out on Japan, for the weather was still frigidly cold. I all honesty, the snowy season should have passed, but it was still falling and we were now in Mid March. It was about time, I could lose a few layers- whilst sitting in my apartment, but with the weather being as it has been, that wasn’t an option. Of course the only other option, was to turn the heating up but I was trying my best not to line the pockets of the greedy energy companies- there was better things my money could be spent on.

So as you can probably guess I kept trips outside minimal during this extended cold snap that we were having, so that meant I spent a lot of time on the computer. Even though I had long since left the industry behind (and I was glad to do so), for some reason I still felt drawn to check out what was going on in the world of Galge/Bishojo/Eroge games. Why something so personally trivial should still be of a concern to me, is something that even baffles myself but I guess I felt some kind of pride in the games that I created, even if such things are hopelessly clichéd and shallow. Anyway I was on a fan forum, when I came across several posts from someone calling themselves Silent Reaper- exclaiming how brilliant a new game called Renai O Kilometer was ......

<IFRAME height=315 src="

http://www.youtube.com/embed/mFj1kda-1zk" frameBorder=0 width=560 allowfullscreen></IFRAME>

'Silent Reaper' was raving about this on the forums

In all honesty the game itself looked no different to about a million others on an over-saturated market, but the forum-posters name intrigued me. I heard rumours that Sairento was into this sort of thing- but seeing as I value my own life, I wasn’t going to approach him on such a matter, the next time I see him.

Sairento- Galge game affiiconado?

Surely though he wouldn’t be so cliché and obvious to use his sub-moniker as a handle for an online forum- In all likely hood this was probably just a Sairento fan- Some wimpy nerd, that if actually met Sairento in person would be scared rigid. Most likely if I said to Sairento, some galge game otaku was calling himself Silent-Reaper on a online galge game otaku forum, and Sairento was not said galge game otaku, he would probably find a way to hunt down that galge game otaku and then curbstomp them into submission- that’s just the kind of guy Sairento is.

Pointlessly perusing galge game otaku forums aside, something that could not be ignored was an e-mail from Dragon-san....

Takayuki-san

DIASPORA’s next tour begins in April- even though March is a month of rest for us, we must review and plan ahead for the up-coming tour. Therefore I am proposing a Review meeting at my place in Yokohama on March 23rd. Myself and all other shareholders will be present, as head booker I also expect you to attend.

Regards

Dragon-san.

That meeting was going to be another ten days from now, but those days would soon fly by, and as I thought about the meeting, I pondered if Sairento would actually turn up at one of these meetings for once. In all honesty, I would be glad if he continued his ‘silent partner’ routine, because any sane person would feel uneasy around someone that exudes menace just by walking into a room.
