A USPW.com Video Exclusive

(Dated: December 28th, 2012)

The video begins with a large man standing in what seems to be the inside of a church. USPW and old school wrestling fans alike will recognize the man as Tyson Baine, though old school fans might be a little confused at Baine's demeanor. The red haired, raving lunatic known "BLZ Bubb" is nowhere to be seen in this man. In his place is a man who is eerily calm and confident. His cold, almost serine expression might just be as frightening, if not more so, than his previous self.

As his

plays softly in the background, Baine starts to speak:

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/TysonBaine_zps5d04d444.jpg

"I have been asked by USPW management to explain my recent actions. I will acquiesce.

Over the last few months I have preached about the end of the world. When that time came and pass, I will not lie, I questioned my faith. For days, I looked into the scriptures to find out what I might have gotten wrong. After these days, I came to a startling realization: I was not wrong about the date of the apocalypse, just its length. The destruction of the world will not be quick; it will be slow and painful. And that pain will be administered by me. For, I am not this world’s savior, I am its destroyer. I am its end.

Last week was only a small sample of the pain and destruction I will bring upon this world. For you heathens watching this video, enjoy the time you have left, for it will all soon come to an end."

USPW Roster Overview (Part One)

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/AliciaStrong.jpg

Name: Alicia Strong

Affiliations: Camp Strong

Age: 26 / Size: Small

Wrestling Style: Regular Wrestler

Push: Women's Division / USA Popularity: C-

Alignment: Face / Gimmick: Old School Face

Signature Moves: Angel Driver, Strong Arm Tactic

Championship(s): x3 USPW Womens

2012 Top 500: #117

Bio: Alicia Strong certainly hasn't had to come up the hard way in the wrestling business; the daughter of the best known wrestler of all time, Sam Strong, she has all the right connections, and those connections allowed her to get exclusive training in Japan from the greatest female wrestler of all time, Sensational Ogiwara. The result is that Alicia has every advantage possible as she looks to become the best women's wrestler ever. Naturally, when she was ready to make her pro debut in April 2007, Sam Strong pulled out all the stops - not only did he sign her to a contract with his USPW promotion, he also created an entire womens division for her to compete in. The division has gone on to become a great success with fans, and Alicia seems well on her way to stardom.

Signature Moves: Blast From The Past

Championship(s): USPW Television

2012 Top 500: #357

Bio: Andre Jones is a wrestler from North Dakota who is best known for his time with the Supreme Wrestling Federation, who he joined in 2004 as a rookie. Originally a bland babyface curtain-jerker, he began to show more character when he became The Guru's lackey and chief interference runner. That relationship ended toward the end of 2006 when Jones switched allegiances to become the silent muscle backing up Frederique Antonio Garcia. Apparently unhappy at chiefly being used as a lackey and rarely pushed as a serious in-ring competitor, Jones asked for his release in late 2008. In April 2009 he resurfaced, having signed for Sam Strong's fast-rising USPW promotion, and by the end of the year had won his first major title, the USPW Television belt.

Push: Enhancement Talent / USA Popularity: D

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Monster

Signature Moves: Kronus Bomb

Championship(s): RIPW Championship, RIPW Tag Team Championship

2012 Top 500: Unranked

Bio: When Atlas first came into pro wrestling he was a struggling independent worker going by the name of "Big Dog" Josh Nash. He got his first break when he joined Rip Chord's MAW in 2005, where he was renamed and given time to develop as a worker, mainly as part of the Gods Of Thunder tag team with Titan. Making great strides as a worker, he caught the eye of SWF scouts and was signed to a development contract to work for their RIPW feeder league. A former RIPW champion, he spent the latter part of his RIPW career treading water waiting for SWF to either call him up or cut him loose - sadly for him, it was the latter. Still, it may have been a blessing in disguise, as just a few months later he was picked up by USPW.

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Arrogant Heel

Signature Moves: Blonde Ambition, Dish Of The Day

Championship(s): x5 AAA Femme Fatale, x2 USPW Womens

2012 Top 500: #68

Bio: The veteran wrestler Belle Bryden, who for many years wrestled as Wanda "The Dish" Fish, is one of the best all-rounders in the world of women's wrestling. She was a major player with the Angel Athletic Association for many years, racking up five separate Femme Fatale titles and headlining scores of shows. The reasons for her success are clear; she is the complete package as far as wrestling goes, having a great look, fine skills, a strong work ethic, and fantastic microphone skills. In August 2008 she was offered a lucrative and long-term contract by USPW, who were convinced that she was the missing ingredient in giving them a top quality women's division, which she signed. She has been working under the name Belle Bryden since.

Name: Bruce The Giant

Affiliations: None

Age: 41 / Size: Giant

Wrestling Style: Entertainer

Push: Occasional Wrestler / USA Popularity: B

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Giant

Signature Moves: Giant Choke Slam

Championship(s): x2 Burning World Championship, x2 SWF World Heavyweight, USPW World

2012 Top 500: #210

Bio: Standing 7'4 and weighing 600lbs, Bruce The Giant is the biggest athlete on the planet and has been one of the most dominant headline wrestlers in North America and Japan for over two decades. He is primarily associated with the SWF in the west and BHOTWG in the east, as those are the promotions that he had his most famous matches in. However, since 2006 he has been working for his close friend Sam Strong's USPW, using his name value to help to try and turn them into a national player. Dogged by major knee problems for many years, his USPW run in particular has seen him heavily protected - he rarely appears on anything but pay-per-views, and even then he is usually used in tag team action where he can have limited involvement.

Name: Charlie Thatcher

Affiliations: None

Age: 37 / Size: Big Heavyweight

Wrestling Style: Brawler

Push: Lower Midcard / USA Popularity: D+

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Bodyguard

Signature Moves: Crusher Legdrop

Championship(s): USPW Television

2012 Top 500: Unranked

Bio: The Insurance Policy Charlie Thatcher stands at six feet and seven inches, and weighs in at 324lb of mostly muscle; it is that impressive stature that has seen him able to stay in work for most of his career despite his limited in-ring skills. Thatcher is best known for his time with Total Championship Wrestling; at first he was almost exclusively used as a silent bodyguard for other wrestlers, but gradually became more and more active in the ring. He was released in late 2010 to make way for new talent, but was only out of work a matter of months before becoming yet another massive heavyweight signed by USPW.

Name: Cherry Bomb

Affiliations: None

Wrestling Style: Brawler

Push: Women's Division / USA Popularity: D+

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Bad Ass

Signature Moves: Cherry Bomb

Championship(s): x2 AAA Tag Team, AAA Top Contender's, USPW Womens

2012 Top 500: #186

Bio: The Canadian wrestler Cherry Bomb, whose real name is Sherie Guthrie, is an athletic competitor, noted for her hard-hitting style and great look. Short and muscular, she uses her low center of gravity to allow her to suplex much bigger women with apparent ease. She is especially famous for her psychotic interviews, which are as good as anybody in the business. Cherry was one of AAA's mainstays for many years, wrestling for them from 2003 to 2007, before leaving them to become one of the founding members of USPW's new womens division, where she has since established herself as the cornerstone of the division.

Name: Chris Caulfield

Wrestling Style: Brawler

Push: Upper Midcard / USA Popularity: C+

Alignment: Face / Gimmick: Patriot

Signature Moves: Danger Drop

Championship(s): DAVE Tag Team, x3 DAVE Unified, x2 USPW Television

2012 Top 500: #124

Bio: The Hardcore American Chris Caulfield is a decent brawler who is best known for his run as one of the icons of DAVE. He was brought into the company when his good friend Phil Vibert became the owner, and he went on to become one of the most popular members of the roster, with the fans appreciating his loyalty and work ethic. Not a great worker by any means, he managed to win the DAVE Unified title on a few occasions - however, the reigns were all short and mainly used for transitional purposes. When financial pressures finally put an end to DAVE's rise, Chris was left without a job, but that situation was soon rectified when Sam Strong personally handled the negotiations to bring him into USPW, a sign of how much he respected Caulfield's work ethic and loyalty.

Name: D.C. Rayne

Affiliations: Natural Storm

Age: 29 / Size: Middleweight

Wrestling Style: Regular Wrestler

Push: Lower Midcard / USA Popularity: D+

Alignment: Face / Gimmick: Old School Face

Signature Moves: Storm Damage

Championship(s): x2 FCW Tag Team, x2 Mid Atlantic Tag Team, x2 USPW World Tag Team

2012 Top 500: #253

Bio: The Storm D.C. Rayne is a solid wrestler from Louisiana who is well known as one half of the excellent tag team Natural Storm, working alongside Eddie Howard. The team was originally put together in Rip Chord's Mid Atlantic Wrestling, and went on to become two-time tag team champions before heading for Puerto Rico's FCW in late 2007. Natural Storm would take another two sets of tag team titles FCW and continue to make a strong name for themselves with their performances - this led to them being signed by USPW in 2011. They are now widely regarded as one of the best tag teams currently working in North America, a fact they cemented by adding USPW tag gold to their account just months after debuting.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/DannyRushmore.jpg

Name: Danny Rushmore

Affiliations: Sneer Corporation, The Towers of Power

Age: 42 / Size: Heavyweight

Wrestling Style: Brawler

Push: Midcard / USA Popularity: C-

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Monster

Signature Moves: Atomic Boot

Championship(s): x2 TWL Tag Team, USPW Tag Team, x5 USPW World Tag Team

2012 Top 500: #338

Bio: Danny "The Mountain" Rushmore is an old-school powerhouse, using his strength and size to beat down opponents with low-risk attacks. He's not a bad worker by any means, but he is pretty bland, which explains why he has spent most of his career strictly as a midcarder. In late 2006, as part of USPW's "rebirth", he was teamed up with Mick Muscles as The Towers Of Power in the hope that they would gel together and become a dominant monster tag team - the strategy worked, as they have gone on to become a superb duo, winning the USPW tag titles on multiple occasions and becoming one of the promotion's most reliable acts.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/DarrylDevine.jpg

Name: Darryl Devine

Affiliations: None

Age: 29 / Size: Lightweight

Wrestling Style: Regular Wrestler

Push: Opener / USA Popularity: D

Alignment: Face / Gimmick: Fun Babyface

Signature Moves: Devine Dream Drop

Championship(s): 4C Tag Team Championship, x2 USPW National

2012 Top 500: #248

Bio: Mighty Fine Darryl Devine is a good solid wrestler from Seattle. Making his pro debut in 2003, it took him less than a year of show-stealing performances on the independent circuit to get people interested in him. He then became a regular both with United States Pro Wrestling and Canadian Charisma Championship Combat, giving him exposure on both sides of the border. In 2008 he prioritised, choosing to work solely for the much bigger USPW. He has been a solid worker for USPW, but has been consistently held back by his lack of size (at 230lbs he is often giving up huge amounts of weight in Sam Strong's 'land of the giants') and his chronic injury proneness.

Name: Dusty Decont

Affiliations: None

Age: 28 / Size: Big Heavyweight

Wrestling Style: Brawler

Push: Opener / USA Popularity: D

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Monster

Signature Moves: Thrown Powerbomb

Championship(s): None

2012 Top 500: Unranked

Bio: Dirty Dusty Ducont is a massive Canadian wrestler whose burly 6'8 physique tips the scales at over 380lbs. Originally working under the name Dusty Bin, he found little success despite his huge size - simply too slow and clumsy, he was virtually black-balled from the Toronto independent circuit due to the amount of injuries he was causing. After heading south and spending a year working at the Piledriver School Of Wrestling in order to tighten his skills, he returned to working the independent circuit but under his new ring name. His efforts were rewarded when he was signed by USPW in August 2010.

Bio: The Natural Eddie Howard is a young powerhouse who has become nationally known as one half of the excellent Natural Storm tag team alongside D.C. Rayne. First breaking in to the sport as part of the original MAW roster, Natural Storm racked up two tag team title reigns before heading to FCW in Puerto Rico where they added a further pair of belts to their trophy cabinet. With a growing reputation for strong performances, it was no surprise when USPW came calling, signing the pair to their roster in early 2011. By Christmas that year, Natural Storm had added USPW tag gold to their resume.

Bio: Appropriately enough, Enygma is something of a mystery within the wrestling industry, being one of the very, very few wrestlers whose real identity is truly a secret, having never been caught without his mask. Almost nothing is known about him, not even where he was trained or by whom. He burst onto the scene out of nowhere in 2002, taking the SWF by storm with a two-year undefeated streak that saw him become one of the most over workers on the roster. He became world champion in 2004, but a badly booked reign and the loss of his streak blew his momentum and the next four years saw him essentially become stuck in a holding pattern, slipping further and further down the pecking order. In 2008, he was poached from the SWF on an obscenely large contract by USPW, which is seen as the official start of the war between the two companies.

Bio: American Everyman Freddie Datsun is a hard working and dependable wrestler who strangely never seems to get the credit he deserves for everything he has achieved and helped to build in the wrestling industry - for example, few remember that he was a key figure in establishing DAVE. Freddie is best known for his six years with the Supreme Wrestling Federation, where he had some memorable matches and angles. He left them in 2006 when his contract wasn't renewed, and was quickly snapped up by USPW, where he won the world title almost immediately. He has since fallen to his seemingly more natural position in the midcard as bigger stars have been brought in.

Bio: Giant Redwood (Jethro J Jonas) is a monsterous 465lb, seven foot behemoth, whose size almost makes up for his utter lack of talent in the ring. Almost. Redwood is well known throughout the wrestling world as one of the meanest, most devious men in the business, and a master of using politics to his advantage. He has been a fixture in USPW since its debut in 2001, and is a three time world champion - many are quick to point out that business was statistically much worse for the promotion during these title reigns. In recent years he has finally begun to slip down the card, as even his infamous politics can't hide the fact that age and recurring knee injuries have taken their toll.

Bio: Alison "Gorgon" Rush is a powerhouse wrestler from Missouri who is known for her distinctive face paint. She broke into the business with the Angel Athletic Association, debuting in mid 2003, and it didn't take long for her to make an impact, winning the tag team straps with Cherry Bomb as her partner within months. The reputation she built with AAA meant that 5SSW became interested, and she had a good few years of touring with them before the slump in business in Japan meant that they could no longer afford to fly her over. She quit AAA in 2010, jumping ship to the USPW women's division.

Bio: James Justice originally broke into the sport in Texas, where he played a generic masked heel ("The Outlaw II"), but it was when he joined TCW in 1996 that his career took off. Repackaged as colourful fan favourite Liberty, and with massive help from Rip Chord who put him over hugely in a long-running feud, he became one of the most popular men on the roster and a multi-time world champion. A heel turn in 2006 proved a big failure though, and despite turning back, he struggled to regain his popularity. Feeling that he was in danger of getting lost in the pack, he surprisingly accepted a big money contract offer from Sam Strong's USPW in the summer of 2007 (despite TCW offering one too). Debuting under the name James Justice, he quickly became one of the key players in the promotion.

Bio: Java is an ultra-menacing 300lb+ heavyweight brawler who was born in Indonesia, but was brought up on the mean streets of Chicago. He has never been a particularly great in-ring talent, but his size and genuinely scary appearance have meant he has always been able to get work. He is most closely associated with USPW, where he has been working since 2002 and has formed an excellent and successful tag team with Tribal Warrior, but many people don't know that he was one of PGHW's big foreign draws in the late 1990s, and actually has wins over Mito Miwa and Shuji Inukai to his name.

Bio: Aaron "Jumbo" Jackson was trained by "Everest" Elmer Kelly in 2000, and spent his rookie years wrestling as Jumbo Jackson for NYCW. He would later head to CGC in Canada, where he wrestled as Avalanche, tag teaming with his trainer and having much success. However, he got the chance for even greater fame in 2003, when he was repackaged as Jumbo Shrimp, one third of Lobster Warrior's Underwater Union in SWF. He went on to have much success as the fun-loving goofy giant, and was one of the company's most popular midcard acts. The "commotion in the ocean" storyline - the implosion of the stable - took place in 2007 as a way to springboard Lobster Warrior to the main event, and also marked the end of Jumbo's stay with the SWF. He turned up in USPW in September 2007, and has gone on to become one of their main heels.

Bio: Krusher Karloff is a massive heavyweight brawler who is also well known under his previous identity, Billy Jack Shearer. He originally came to fame with PPW under his Karloff identity, where the Russian monster was the company's main heel and three-time champion. From there he woud head to TCW, where as Billy Jack Shearer, the drummer in the popular Painful Procedure band \ stable, he would find fame. Released from his lucrative contract in 2009, he would next turn up in USPW in late 2010, this time back under his Krusher Karloff gimmick, and he has quickly settled into his role as a monster heel in Sam Strong's land of giants.

Joining in 2006 as part of a revamp of the women's division, Melody went on to be the main focus and four-time champion before her departure in late 2010 to join USPW. Affiliations: Sneer Corporation, The Towers of Power

Alignment: Heel / Gimmick: Bad Ass

Signature Moves: Bulldozer Powerbomb

Championship(s): USPW World, x5 USPW World Tag Team

2012 Top 500: #440

Bio: The former body builder Mick Muscles is a heavyweight wrestler from Vermont who is noted for his power and chiseled physique. Throughout his career he has been considered to be a star-in-waiting, but it has never really happened, possibly due to the fact that he is fairly bland and lacks that magic "X factor" ingredient. In 2006 he captured the USPW world title and it looked like it may be the start of something, but he lost it very quickly. In late 2006 he was teamed up with Danny Rushmore as The Towers Of Power, in the hope that they would turn into a dominant monster heel tag team - multiple tag team title reigns would suggest that it worked pretty well. The Towers have become one of USPW's most reliable midcard acts.

Championship(s): USPW Television, x3 USPW World

2012 Top 500: #56

Bio: Nicky "Hawkeye" Champion originally came through the short-lived USPW training school, one of only two graduates to make it to the full roster. That was in 2004, and he would spend the next two and a half years saddled with the abysmal "Tom E Hawk" gimmick, stuck in the lower reaches of USPW shows. When Sam Strong took over in 2006, he saw the youngster as having the potential to be "the next Sam Strong", and so had him reinvented as the more dynamic Nicky Champion instead. Champion has flourished under Strong's guidance, becoming USPW's enormously popular iconic babyface figurehead and helping lead them to a position where they are a credible threat to the traditional SWF-TCW 'big two'.

Bio: Peter Valentine is the man everyone loves to hate. The former body builder was brought straight into Total Championship Wrestling by his close friend Sam Strong, without having to pay any dues first, and despite being absolutely awful in the ring he went on to win many titles and be one of the company's biggest stars thanks to Strong's influence. In 2006, having spent a year struggling in TCW without any political allies to help him, he left to join USPW, which just happened to have recently been taken over by Sam Strong. Despite still sucking, he has continued to command a position high up on the roster. In 2009, the company even brought back the USPW National title from wherever dead titles go to rest in peace, specifically so that Valentine could win it.

2012 Top 500: Unranked

Bio: Petr Novak is a massive 6'9, 390lb powerhouse who used to be known as The Big Problem. He made his pro debut for New York City Wrestling in 2003 under his previous identity, and the general feeling was that they had a potential star on their hands given that he was a huge man who actually had both charisma and decent skills. Unfortunately, he was never able to match that hype, and was soon downgraded from rising singles star to midcard tag wrestler, teaming with Land Mass. He was released in 2006, labelled by Internet users everywhere as "The Big Flop". Perhaps surprisingly, USPW signed him in early 2010 - rumour has it that Sam Strong himself was behind the move, believing that a star could still be made if booked correctly. The first step was rebranding him - the Czech destroyer Petr Novak was thus born, playing on his real-life Eastern European heritage.

Bio: The Angel Of The Dark Raven Nightfall (Louisa Robinson) is one of the top female workers in North America. She originally came to fame with AAA, where over the course of nine years she became one of their biggest stars, and such was her success and appeal that USPW came calling in 2009 and signed her up to an exclusive deal to be part of their women's division; when in USPW, she uses the ring name Raven Robinson. A competent, solid performer in the ring, what gives Raven the edge is that she has a fantastic look and can play the crowd to perfection as either a face or heel.

Bio: Face-painted powerhouse Jim Force is a former national champion bodybuilder who first came to attention with the SWF in the 1990s, winning two North American titles and coming very close to the world title on several occasions. He was eventually released in 2000 when even the great SWF booking team of that era could no longer hide the fact that his in-ring skills were sub par compared to the rest of the roster. Force wound up signing for USPW in 2002, which is where he first debuted his now-trademark face-paint look. Thanks to his SWF exposure he was instantly promoted as one of the promotion's biggest names and became a multi-time champion very quickly. In 2009, having slipped down the pecking order a little, he reinvented himself as The Force, debuting more modern attire and a more intense ring style.

Bio: T-Rex, "The Jurassic Power", is a massive wrestler who is absolutely loaded with menace. Pretty much the very definition of a monster heel, he made his pro debut for DAVE in 1998, but at that point was so poor in the ring that the company's management shoved him into a ringside bodyguard role until he improved. Rex left DAVE in 2004 to join USPW, seeking a fresh start, knowing that USPW was traditionally a promotion where big men were well promoted. Although he is still very limited in the ring even after over a decade of in-ring experience, this has not stopped him becoming one of USPW's major heels, and he is a former USPW champion.

Bio: The Tribal Warrior is a Samoan powerhouse, rumoured to be one of the strongest men in pro wrestling. He is a throwback to the monster heels of old, dominating opponents with viciousness and raw strength, and that has kept him in regular work since his debut in 1990. He is best known in America for his work with USPW, where he has been a long time partner of the equally scary Java - perhaps the most genuinely bad ass duo in the history of pro wrestling - and had huge success in the tag team ranks, but he also made lots of appearances in Japan over the course of his career, usually on tour with BHOTWG.

Bio: Tyson Baine is the wrestler formerly known as BLZ Bubb, a big menacing powerhouse from Canada who is known for his intimidating, somewhat demonic look. After struggling on the independent scene for years as The Angel Of Death, he got his big break when TCW signed him to their debut roster. He was repackaged as BLZ Bubb, an almost unstoppable monster heel, and got hugely over, even winning the world title in 1998. Although that would prove the peak of his TCW career, he remained in or around the main event scene for the remainder of his time with them, and even turned face in 2007 (which saw him change his ring name to Tyson Baine). Unfortunately, his hugely lucrative contract meant that TCW could not afford to re-sign him in 2009 as they were going through financial issues, and so he accepted Sam Strong's big money offer to join USPW instead.

Just a week after receiving a fireball to the face from the returning Tyson Baine, Nicky Champion defends his title against the man he won it from, Jumbo Jackson. When asked about his injury and whether it will affect his ability to defend the World title, Nicky Champion has this to say, “Nothing will keep me away from defending this World title in front of the greatest fans in the world!”</p><p> </p><p> It's always interesting to see how tag teams handle singles success. Most teams seem to break up or at least show signs of tension, however the veterans Java and Tribal Warrior seem to be doing quite well as not one, but both members of Savage Fury have found championship gold. Over the next few weeks their resolve will be tested by the always dangerous duo of Krusher Karloff and Petr Novak. Over the next few weeks Savage Fury will be defending their respect titles against The Cold Warriors before colliding in a massive tag match to decide who will face the USPW World Tag Team champions, Natural Storm, at USPW's first PPV of the year: Stars, Stripes, and Slams! </p><p> </p><p> <strong>The War Rages On</strong></p><p> </p><p> Late in 2012, Enygma, James Justice, and The Force changed the wrestling world forever when they banded together to form The Watch. Sick of the corruption in wrestling, this trio has set out to keep the preverbal streets of USPW clean. This action has drawn the ire of Shane Sneer, the head of the Sneer Corporation, who has stated that the group should keep their noses out of other people's business, calling the group a bunch of "terrorists". Needless to say The Watch did not take kindly to those words and the two groups have been fighting ever since. Tonight USPW management has a booked a tag team tonight between Enygma & James Justice and The Towers of Power, Danny Rushmore & Mick Muscles, in hopes to end the confrontation between the two groups. However, few believe this will actually be the case.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Caulfield Challenge?</strong></p><p> </p><p> Chris Caulfield has requested and has been granted time to speak on our next broadcast. More on this to come.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sneer Corporation going International?</strong></p><p> </p><p> The rumor is out that the Sneer Corporation has acquired the contract of Sozen Ishinomori from Golden Canvas Wrestling. Shane Sneer was not available for comment, however judging from his track record the young Japanese brawler looks to be right up Mr. Sneer's alley. Standing at six feet seven inches, Sozen looks to have a bright future, assuming he can adjust to the American lifestyle.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35065" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><span>http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/SozenIshinomori_zps0014a49f.jpg</span><p> </p><p> <strong>Name:</strong> Sozen Ishinomori</p><p> <strong>Affiliations:</strong> ???</p><p> <strong>Age:</strong> 22 / <strong>Size:</strong> Big Heavyweight</p><p> <strong>Wrestling Style:</strong> Brawler</p><p> <strong>Push:</strong> ??? / <strong>USA Popularity:</strong> Unknown</p><p> <strong>Alignment:</strong> ??? / <strong>Gimmick:</strong> ???</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Signature Moves:</strong> Ishinomori Bomb</p><p> <strong>Championship(s):</strong> None</p><p> <strong>2012 Top 500:</strong> Unranked</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bio:</strong> Sozen Ishinomori is a big Japanese worker, who was trained in the Golden Canvas Grappling dojo. On the downside, he isn't great when it comes to actually wrestling - he is fairly slow and clumsy, and his plodding brawling style is fairly out of place in modern Japan. I like Sozen as a signing. I preferred his other re-render, had a real badass look, but he has just the right mix of charisma, menace, and complete lack of in ring skills to be a good pick up for you. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I was gonna say Peter Valentine but i think Bruce is a good target as you can only use him on PVP's. I don't think Chris will take him in the match but it'd be a big money match up.</p>

I just wanted to thank everyone who has responded to this diary so far. After enjoying some of my winter vacation celebrating Chrismas with family and friends I've started to write the show. I'm still working out the format of the shows but I hoping to work through it by the first PPV. If anyone still wants to predict or comment before the show you have until tomorrow (when I will be proofing the show).

Thanks again! :)

A Japanese import for the Sneer Corporation ? That's a pretty good and original idea!

I like Sozen as a signing. I preferred his other re-render, had a real badass look, but he has just the right mix of charisma, menace, and complete lack of in ring skills to be a good pick up for you. :p

Sozen's in-ring skill might not good enough for Japan or a company like NOTBPW right now, but he's perfect for the USPW midcard (charisma + menace = overness). With a bit of luck could be a legit main eventer once his stamina and in ring skills improve.

In-Ring Segment

Nicky Champion comes out from the back, championship in hand and dressed for competition. After greeting the crowd, Nicky goes into what "has to be on everyone's mind: How does it feel to be on the receiving end of a fireball courtesy of Tyson Baine?" Champion seems to shrug off the incidence, joking that "Baine needs work on his aim" and that "he didn't become a three time World champion if he couldn't handle a little heat", however his body language reveals that he might be holding back some anger towards the situation.

Before ending his promo, Champion turned his attention to his opponent tonight, Jumbo Jackson. Champion declares that last week's "little incident" hasn't slowed down his training nor has he lost his focus in any way and that Jackson better bring his A game because he sure as hell will bring his.

Alicia Strong & Melody vs. Belle Bryden & Gorgon

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Alicia Strong and Melody defeated Belle Bryden and Gorgon in 11:30 when Alicia Strong defeated Gorgon by pinfall with a Strong Arm Tactic.

Rating: C-

Match Notes: Throughout the match, Alicia and Melody showed incredible teamwork while Belle and Gorgon looked like they wanted to beat each other just as much as they wanted to beat Strong and Melody. In the end, that would be their downfall and a slap from Belle distracted Gorgon enough for Alicia Strong to hit a Strong Arm Tactic.

In-Ring Segment

Sam Strong welcomes everyone to another year of USPW wrestling. He starts to go over tonight's main event before getting interrupted by Shane Sneer. Sneer comes out and is angry about some deal Strong made without his knowledge. The two argue back and forth, speaking in very vague terms before a frustrated Strong asks Sneer to meet him in his office so the two can speak in private about the unknown matter as well as why Bruce The Giant won't answer his calls. In response, Shane Sneer just gives his signature smirk before heading to the back, obviously getting exactly what he wanted.

USPW National Title Match

In an extremely short match, Java defeated Petr Novak in 4:51 by pinfall with a Greetings From The Island. Java makes defence number 2 of his USPW National title.

Rating: D+

Match Notes: Java and Petr's respective partners, Tribal Warrior and Krusher Karloff, were both banned from ringside for this match by Commissioner Doom.

In-Ring Segment

Chris Caulfield comes out and slaps the hands of everyone in the first row before entering the ring. After being handed a microphone, Chris thanks USPW management for giving him this time and proceeds to announce a challenge to Bruce The Giant at the next PPV. He states that two years ago he was almost at the top of the mountain before falling to Bruce at USPW Stars, Stripes, and Slams! in 2010. While he's experience success in the company since then, he's never been able to get back to the top. He knows that neither him nor Bruce have much time left and he needs to avenge his loss to move back into the World title picture.

Andre Jones vs. Darryl Devine

In an extremely short match, Andre Jones defeated Darryl Devine in 5:19 by pinfall with a Blast From The Past.

Rating: D+

Match Notes: Darryl Devine was clearly frustrated after the match and had to be clammed down by his valet and girlfriend, Seduction.

Pre-Taped Segment

The video starts in a darkly light locker room with three men known to the USPW Universe as "The Watch": Enygma, James Justice, and The Force. As they begin to speak the video switches back and forth between The Watch and some of the devious actions conducted by the Sneer Corporation and T-Rex over the past couple of the years.

Enygma: "For weeks, months, years, this promotion has been plagued by evils that could not be removed by normal means. Actions must be taken or all of the world will fall to the darkness surrounding us. Actions we have made."

James Justice: "What my friend here is trying to say here is that: there comes a time when even the most laid back dudes cannot abide and must stand up for the rights of themselves and others. Now is that time and we are those dudes."

The Force: *SHRUNK* "Shane Sneer, Mick Muscles, Danny Rushmore, Jumbo Jackson, T-Rex, and all that oppose and oppress the good people of the earth, the sky, and all will feel the FORCE and the WATCH!"

Enygma & James Justice vs. The Towers Of Power

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Enygma and James Justice defeated The Towers Of Power in 10:24 when Enygma defeated Danny Rushmore by submission with an Enygma Variation. During the match we also saw T-Rex run in and attack Enygma, and The Force also attack Rushmore.

Rating: C+

Match Notes: The match was quite chaotic once T-Rex and The Force inserted themselves into the match. With the referee distracted by Shane Sneer, T-Rex attacked Enygma, but was turned back by James Justice and The Force. While James Justice got the attention of the ref, The Force hit a brutal clothline on Danny Rushmore, allowing Enygma enough time to recover and lock in his patented Enygma Variation Ankle Lock.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/USPW/Workers/resized/TysonBaine_zps81837477.jpg

Pre-Taped Segment

The video begins with a large man standing in what seems to be the inside of a church. USPW and old school wrestling fans alike will recognize the man as Tyson Baine, though old school fans might be a little confused at Baine's demeanor. The red haired, raving lunatic known "BLZ Bubb" is nowhere to be seen in this man. In his place is a man who is eerily calm and confident. His cold, almost serine expression might just be as frightening, if not more so, than his previous self.

As his

plays softly in the background, Baine starts to speak:

Jumbo Jackson vs. Nicky Champion ©

USPW World Title Match

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Nicky Champion defeated Jumbo Jackson in 18:17 by pinfall with a Hawkeye Hammer. Nicky Champion makes defence number 3 of his USPW World title.

Rating: C+

Match Notes: Before the match, Jumbo Jackson and Shane Sneer had some heated words. While it was not known exactly what was said, it can be inferred that Jumbo told Shane that he did not want the Corporation to get involved as the rest of Sneer's stable was not seen throughout the course of the match.

In-Ring Segment

With the match over, Nicky Champion takes his title and raises it high in the air. As he starts to celebrate his win with the fans when the lights go out. When they come back on Nicky Champion is found laying on the ground with none other than Tyson Baine standing over him. As Champion lies motionless beneath him, Baine calmly takes Nicky's USPW World title belt and exits the arena with sickenly sweet smile.

Happy New Year everyone! For those of you that aren't following every single one of the 8RoW diaries, the 2nd week of shows is almost upon us. And with that comes some Foolish Commentary. I was pretty happy with the show overall. The B- score might not have been good enough stop USPW from losing popularity, but considering it was the first show of the year, I really can't complain when you consider my roster. Speaking of the roster, you can look forward to seeing some new faces on USPW programming sooner than later. While I'd usually say more about the signings now, I think that I'm going to have to hold off until they are revealed in "in-character" posts.

I was a little disappointed in the opener and the title match since both did a bit better in my practice run, but those things happen as each game has different chemistry and starting momentum among other things that will influence grades.

I thought that the angles did pretty well. While some of them didn't get the high grades that I know they could get (specifically the Champion/Baine segments), nothing tanked either. I'm especially happy with the Caulfield promo as Caulfield/Bruce was one of the "official" storylines that I added and with the Women's match falling a bit short, I needed Caulfield's promo to be good enough to get me a 3rd "hot" storyline.

As for the layout of the show, I'm pretty happy with it. I like the clean feel of the smaller images and the double lines dividing the segments (as opposed to quote boxes). I also think the match notes will be a good way for me to reveal storyline information without forcing me to write something for "throw-away" matches (though with 90 minutes of TV, I'm not sure how many matches will truly be a "throw-away").

If you guys have any suggestions for this diary feel free to post or PM me. I'm always open to ways to improve the diary.

Finally, I would like to thank MJStark for creating some amazing belts for USPW. You can find all of his work HERE.

Prediction Table (January 2013)

Tiberious4: 6/6

Jingo: 5/6

Jaded: 4/6 (should have stayed with Jingo's picks! ;))

Midnightnick: 4/6

3rdStringPG: 4/6

Occasional_Z: 4/6

BYU 14: 4/6

Timber: 3/6

The prediction contest will last until the PPV, though to be honest I don't know what I am going to give out as a reward to the winner. Right now I am leaning towards a Q&A session with a USPW wrestler of their choosing but that could change.

USPW American Wrestling Preview

(Episode 2013.2: January 10th, 2013)

Announcements Galore!

Last week, Sam Strong and Shane Sneer had a strongly worded argument in the center of the ring, though the details of what they were talking about were never really stated. If you were wondering what their discussion was about, tune into this Wednesday's show when both Sam Strong and Shane Sneer make their own major announcements!

Speaking of major announcements, Commissioner Doom has announced the first official PPV match of 2013 as Melody defends her USPW Womens' title against the women she won it from, Gorgon, as well as two other fabulous females to be determined over the next couple of weeks. This week's qualifier: Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb.

The Wars Continue

Last week, American Wrestling end with Nicky Champion left lying on his back without his championship belt. No, Jumbo Jackson, who will be in action this week against Running Wolf, didn't beat him for the title. For the second straight week, Tyson Baine surprised everyone by attacking Nicky Champion, this time taking the USPW World title with him. This week, Champion looks for revenge as he teams with The Watch's James Justice to take on Tyson Baine and his on-again, off-again tag team partner, T-Rex, in the main event.

With Java successfully defending his title Television title, Krusher Karloff looks to get revenge for his comrade’s failure as he challenges Java’s partner, Tribal Warrior, for the USPW National title. Can the Cold Warriors bring home some championship gold to Mother Russia or will they come up empty once again?

Finally, it looks like the war between The Watch and the Sneer Corporation has been put on hold, at least from one week. While James Justice and Sneer Corporation ally, T-Rex, might be locking up horns in tag team action, USPW management has decided to give the two groups some space.

Second Chances

Jack Griffith was once considered one of the most promising wrestlers of early 2000s, however personal demons lead Griffith down and dark and lonely path away from the spotlight. We here at USPW are happy to announce that Griffith has successfully wrestled his personal demons and is ready to come back and compete in an USPW ring. Starting this week Griffith will be a full time member of the roster and will team with Freddie Datsun to take on the most dominant tag team in the history of USPW, The Towers of Power.
