Ring of Honor. Nothing Fancy, Just Wrestling

Newswire Coming Up: December 7 – The New Alhambra We’re gearing up for the debut of our television show, Warriors of the Ring! A typical ROH show runs about 8 matches, and is three hours long. However, we only have a one hour time slot and we don’t want to upset anyone by going over, so we’ve decided on a schedule. In hopes of present matches of quality that you’d expect to see on a normal ROH event, we’re going to run 3 or 4 matches without any time restraints, instead of having a handful of 10 minutes limited matches like some lesser promotions would do. Our very first televised main event will be Christopher Daniels versus Frankie Kazarian! This match stems back to the tag team contest they were involved in at Better Than The Best, where Daniels attacked Frankie, his own partner, to pick up the win and the title shot. Colt Cabana suffered a minor concussion working the last IWA-MS show and will be out of action for a month, as to not risk any further injury. Best wishes to Colt in hopes of a quick and speedy recovery period! We have a bit of a toss up with the announcing situation for future Warriors, because we have two possible announcers and two color commentators, but only room for three people. The two people fighting for the announcer’s spot are Gary Michael Cappetta and Dave Prazak while the color commentator’s position is looking to be filled by either the Rottweilers’ manager Julius Smokes, or a man whose seen time in ROH before, whom recently was released from the WWE, and is working as an announcer in Osaka Pro in Japan. This man, is none of than Misses Foley’s little boy, Mick Foley! Mick specifically stated that he had no interest in getting in the ring, unless it was to interview someone, and if an interview was to escalate into an exchange of fisticuffs, he’d have no part in it. We’ll be experimenting with announcing combinations and for the first show it’ll be Dave Prazak and Mick Foley, who should provide an entertaining combination. We’ll have an opening multi-man scramble featuring such youngsters as Sterling James Keenan, Ricky Landell, Claudio Castagnoli, and someone who promises to teach these “rookies” a thing or two, Tony DeVito! DeVito is an established name on the American scene since his days in ECW, and if anyone can upset him, they could be catapulted into stardom here in Ring of Honor! Milano Collection AT, hot off his win against former Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness, is hoping to score yet another big win to push him towards stardom. This week he’s put a challenge out to Rocky Romero of the Rottweilers! Rocky looks to be striking it out on his own since his partner Ricky Reyes went to The Embassy, and a victory over a hot rising youngster like Milano could be all he needs to elevate himself, mentally and in the rankings, to the next level! Speaking of youngsters, word is that a mysterious box was delivered to the ROH headquarters over the weekend, inside it was a new championship belt, emblazon with flames and looking quite royal, it said “ROH Young Lion Championship” No one has any idea of who ordered it, but what a way to start of a new era in ROH, huh? A new title, a new TV show, and hopefully new fans! Make sure you get everyone you know to come this Wednesday, and then tune in on Friday; we need all the support we can get! Thanks and enjoy the show! The card: Tony DeVito vs. Sterling James Keenan vs. Ricky Landell vs. Claudio Castagnoli Milano Collection AT vs. Rocky Romero Frankie Kazarian vs. Christopher Daniels

ROH Warriors of the Ring Episode 1 The New Alhambra Wednesday, December 7, 2005 1. Ricky Landell (11:41 Armbar) Tony DeVito(X)/Claudio Castagnoli/Sterling James Keenan C 2. Milano Collection AT (12:39 IR) Rocky Romero C+ 3. Frankie Kazarian (27:32 Flux Compactor) Christopher Daniels B+ Overall Rating: B Notes: The opener was a solid match and allowed people a good taste of the style-blending multi-man matches that have made ROH famous over the years. HC Loc was ringside and when Claudio and Keenan were brawling uncontrollably outside on the other side of the ring; he pulled Ricky out and started wailing on him. This brought out Alex Law and Steve Corino!!! Corino brutalized Loc and DeVito as Tony made his way outside to back up his partner. Corino shrugged and said nothing personal as he rolled Tony back into the ring as Ricky got the easy submission win. Milano debuted his new finished, the “IR” which can only be assumed to stand for Italian Revolution, and was a quite spectacular modified Fisherman’s Suplex which was enough to get the win over the unsuspecting Rocky Romero. Rocky came down to the ring without any of his fellow Rottweilers and wore very simple standard black tights. He seemed serious and was all about the match. The main event was another solid match with both workers giving their all and the crowd eating up every second of it. By the end the whole crowd was on their feet cheering on the back and forth action and were very audibly yelling “R-O-H! R-O-H!” The finish actually drew a lot of heat for Frankie Kazarian, who was out on the ground following a Last Rites and Daniels was on the top rope about to administer a Triple Jump Moonsault when Frankie sprung up, racked Daniels on the top rope, and planted him with the Flux Compactor for the win. The show ended with Frankie yelling at the camera “I’m the real contender!”

Newswire Coming Up: December 14 – Amazura Concert Hall We had almost four thousand viewers for the debut episode of Warriors of the Ring! The final numbers are being estimated at around 3,972 viewers. And that’s in just the Tri-State area! This is amazing and we’d like to thank every one of you who came and sold out the New Alhambra and everyone who tuned at home! It means the world to us!!! After sitting down with our booking crew we’ve came up with a wide list of workers who’d be acceptable champions for the new Young Lion Championship, all of which are currently under ROH contracts. Seventeen is the number of workers that we have come up with, and they include: Alex Law Anthony Franco Claudio Castagnoli Davey Andrews Delirious Deranged Dunn Harry Smith Izzy Jerrelle Clark KUDO Marcos Matt Sydal Milano Collection AT Phil Davis Ricky Landell Sterling James Keenan Obviously that’s a large number of workers and we need to trim it down some, so we’ll have face offs between tag partners with the winners remaining. These matches will be dark and opening matches on the new few episodes of Warriors of the Ring, and they’ll include: Alex Law vs. Ricky Landell Davey Andrews vs. Anthony Franco Deranged vs. Izzy Dunn vs. Marcos Already signed for this week are Dunn vs. Marcos and Alex Law vs. Ricky Landell. Steve Corino has voiced his interest in seeing his students facing each other and will be the referee for this special contest. Speaking of tag teams, our champions, Sal Rinauro and Tony Mamaluke make their debut to defend their straps against the unlikely pairing of Ace Steel and Matt Stryker! CM Punk had some interesting things to say about Steel in that interview which will be up within the next couple days here, in its entirety, and many wonder if he’ll play a part in the decision. Signs point to no, as CM has requested a match against Jerry Lynn in a match that was signed when he threatened to bring in Vince himself to see what kind of underhanded business they’re running, promising Vincent Kennedy McMahon would have this place shut down, bought out, and reopened in his name before he even made it from the door to the concession stand. The card: Dunn vs. Marcos Alex Law vs. Ricky Landell Sal Rinauro & Tony Mamaluke© vs. Ace Steel & Matt Stryker CM Punk vs. Jerry Lynn

ROH Warriors of the Ring Episode 2 Amazura Concert Hall Wednesday, December 14, 2005 1. Ricky Landell (8:09 Bridging German Suplex) Alex Law C- 2. Dunn (8:07 Simply Devastating) Marcos C- 3. Sal Rinauro(O)/Tony Mamaluke (12:57 Phoenix Fury Leg Drop) Ace Steel(X)/Matt Stryker C+ 4. CM Punk (22:53 Devil Lock DDT) Jerry Lynn A Overall Rating: B Notes: Jerry Lynn and CM Punk have amazing chemistry and its worthy thinking about pairing them against each other at a later date. The end of the match came when Maria tried seducing the “much older” Lynn, as she could complain about later, when Punk came up from behind and locked in a Hammerlock, turned him around, and planted him, knocking him out cold for the three count.

Newswire Coming Up: December 21 – Philadelphia National Guard Armory We broke the 4000 mark!!! With half hours of 4,044 and 4,032 we averaged out to a nightly rating of 4,038 viewers! This is a phenomenal number for a debuting TV show, considering OVW and IWA-MS’ new shows are both averaging around 2,000 viewers. Last week saw the first two matches toward deciding our very first ever Young Lion Champion! Moving on in the tournament were Ricky Landell and Dunn! This week’s matches include: There’re talks of a match in the next round between the two surviving students, Ricky Landell and either Davey Andrews or Anthony Franco, at the next event which could serve as an interesting match and be exactly what this new belt’s about. Ace Steel and Matt Stryker felt that while they didn’t win the tag titles, they worked extremely well as a tag team and with Cabana out for the time being, have decided to work together in more matches. The first possible name for these two floating around is the Midwest Connection. These two will be in action this week against two members of Generation Next, Xavier and Austin Aries! Will they be out of their league, facing off against two former World Champions? We at ROH feel that the best way to bring more competition and prestige to this company is to change things up a bit. If a ROH competitor is champion in another company, feel free to defend your title here! Tag champions? Bring in your partner, one night only, for a special guest defense! This is, of course, barring the fact that other companies are alright with this, and we are 100% alright with sending our champions to other promotions! So, on that note, the very first outside title defense will appear on Warriors of the Ring, as Charlie Haas defends his Jersey All Pro Wrestling Heavyweight title against his rival in that promotion, Steve Corino! Before you say that this move will lower the value of Ring of Honor’s titles, I think you’re wrong, and it only helps builds tighter relationships and bonds between promotions, and helps bring light to other promotions whose fan base might not be as large in our home territory. The card: Davey Andrews vs. Anthony Franco Deranged vs. Izzy Ace Steel & Matt Stryker vs. Austin Aries & Xavier Charlie Haas© vs. Steve Corino *JAPW Heavyweight Championship

Eh, not that I don't know much about them, it's just that I've never bothered doing any type of serious fed work with the real world data, and actually my ROH game is the only one I've done since getting TEW 05, cause I've fell in love with the Cornelleverse since playing WreSpi. I have a really good game going with DAVE that I wanted to turn into a diary, but I was already about a year and a half into it, so I decided to just do a new one, hence this!

Newswire Coming Up: December 28 – Amherst Pepsi Center Ratings for Warriors of the Ring continue to rise and rise, this week’s viewers were 4,132 which is an increase of almost 100 people. That’s just phenomenal and as long as we’re over 4,000 viewers and we’re packing any arena we go to, the staff here at ROH is happy. With Final Battle coming up this weekend, this is the last chance for stars to try and make their spots and take their shots, and decide who’s going to get shots at what. While there’s been controversy over the title contendership between Daniels and Kazarian, World Champion Bryan Danielson hasn’t been heard from since taking that pinfall at Better than the Best, and hasn’t even made his debut on our TV show. Sources close to the Champion say he’s been training harder than he ever has in his life; that the tag loss showed how close he could be to losing the thing he holds most dear. Speaking of Daniels and Kazarian, while Daniels did pick up the tag victory, his underhanded methods called his recent actions under review and following Kazarian’s singles victory of Christopher, the board has decided to make this weekend’s title defense a triangle match! Petey Williams hasn’t made a defense on public TV yet either, and apparently his actions also stem from the tag match at Better than the Best. The comments traded between Danielson and Williams about the un-importance of each title drove Petey to the edge, and he’s decided to increase his training regimen to over twice it usually is to get himself ready to face every single person from around the world who wants a shot at him, and he said he’ll make the Pure Championship worth more than any other title invented. We have two matches to trim down the field for the Young Lion Championship even further, in our efforts at cutting it down to 8 people. This week will be the student contest between Davey Andrews and Ricky Landell and a match between two underdogs in this tournament, Sterling James Keenan and Phil Davis. Steve Corino is taking full advantage of the new outside defenses, this week defending his Zero-One tag team titles with partner CW Anderson, who hasn’t been in ROH since The Group were disbanded back in 2003. They’ll make their second defense of their titles against Harry Smith and Kevin Steen! Milano Collection AT, coming off a victory over fellow Rottweiler member Rocky Romero, has made a challenge that has everyone doubting his sanity. He’s made a challenge to The Notorious 187 himself, Homicide. Homicide has a history of nearly killing young upstart workers trying to make a name for them, a prime example being Puma. Will he make Milano another example, or will Milano get the biggest win of his career? Samoa Joe, who has yet to be on Warriors of the Ring, will be in a tune up match before his final confrontation with Jay Lethal this weekend at Final Battle 2005. He wants to face someone whose skills are as close to Lethal’s as possible, so he chose to take on, on public television, The Embassy’s Alex Shelley! Joe feels that Shelley matches Lethal’s combination of high flying speed and technical skills, and he’ll be the perfect training opponent. The card: Sterling James Keenan vs. Phil Davis Davey Andrews vs. Ricky Landell Steve Corino & CW Anderson© vs. Harry Smith & Kevin Steen *PWF/AWA/W-1 Universal Tag Team Championships Milano Collection AT vs. Homicide Samoa Joe vs. Alex Shelley

ROH Warriors of the Ring Episode 4 Amherst Pepsi Center Wednesday, December 28, 2005 1. Ricky Landell (3:08 Bridging German Suplex) Davey Andrews C- 2. Sterling James Keenan (7:47 Razorblade Kiss) Phil Davis C- 3. Steve Corino(O)/CW Anderson (7:52 Old School Expulsion) Kevin Steen(X)/Harry Smith B- 4. Milano Collection AT (13:05 IR) Homicide C 5. Alex Shelley (17:35 Shell Shock) Samoa Joe B Overall Rating: B- Notes: The Main event was full of Chemistry, with Nana and Shelley playing off each other very well, and Alex and Joe meshing extremely well. Lethal came down and destroyed Joe with a series of strikes and even a chair shot while Nana distracted the ref on the other side of the ring. Following the win, Lethal stood in the ring over Joe with his hands raised with Shelley and Nana, which brought out Aries, looking confused and infuriated.

Newswire Coming Up: December 31 – Mennan Sports Arena Ouch. We took a major hit in the viewers department this past week only drawing 3,788 viewers, marking that as our lowest episode yet. However, with the hype surrounding Final Battle, we’re not afraid because we’ll easily make up for it. Homicide said that Milano has invoked the wrath of the Rottweilers and this Saturday night at Final Battle 2005 he will be in the fight of his life, a fight Homicide said might end his life, against the killer, Low Ki. Milano has been able to get upset victories over Rocky Romero and Homicide in past episodes of Warriors of the Ring, so this is his “just desserts” as quoted by Julius Smokes. The main event of this weekend’s event and the last match of 2005 for Ring of Honor will be the triple threat match for the ROH World Championship between Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and the champion, Bryan Danielson. This all stems back to All Star Extravaganza III Night II when Danielson defended against Kazarian and Petey Williams beat Daniels for the Pure Title. At the next event, Better than the Best, Daniels, after taking out his partner Kazarian, pinned Danielson for a shot at the ROH World Championship. However, Kazarian, feeling he was unfairly screwed out a title shot that he should’ve won, challenged Christopher Daniels to a singles match on our first ever TV show. Kazarian won by underhanded methods, but a win was a win, and in hopes of resolving this situation, the ROH Booking Committee decided to make the main event of this weekend’s show a three way between the three workers. Will Danielson be able to make it out of Morristown with his title in a match where doesn’t have to be pinned to lose his title? We have three matches in the cutting process for the Young Lion Championship, and after today we will finally have our 8 finalist. The three matches are Izzy versus Dunn, KUDO versus Claudio Castagnoli, and Matt Sydal versus Jerrelle Clark. These three matches will be part of a Convention Card pre-show which will start roughly half an hour before the actual event, and is free to anyone who purchased a ticket to Final Battle 2005. Once the final 8 are set, we’ll announce the brackets for the Young Lion Championship in the next Newswire! The name “Final Battle” is fitting as it will display the final matches in not one, but two feuds! Samoa Joe will finally get his hands on Jay Lethal, and Austin Aries will face Roderick Strong in a steel cell to promise that there will be no outside interference. CM Punk has demanded a shot at the ROH Tag Team Championships, and said there’s nothing that the staff or higher ups can do to prevent him, because he can just leave and screw them out of all those dollars of all those paying fans who’re there just to see him, former Tag Champion and former World Champion, and straightXedge role model. He also said his partner won’t be someone from The Embassy, but instead an old friend, someone from “North Country” which we can only assume he’s referring to Connecticut and the WWE headquarters. Xavier gets a stab and his second gold in Ring of Honor, with the Pure Title. Final Battle has proved to be a good night for Generation Next in the past with Aries finally dethroning Samoa Joe at Final Battle 2004, and Xavier hopes to keep that streak alive this year going one on one with Petey Williams. And finally, our opener will be a high flying spectacle featuring the last member of Generation Next, Jack Evans against Jimmy Yang!!! Generation next has a chance to pick up four huge singles victories tonight against solidified members of the ROH roster; will they make good use of their opportunity? If you’re in the New Jersey area, come out to see the very last ROH show of 2005! We’re ending with a bang, and with a show featuring Jack Evans versus Jimmy Yang as the OPENER, it’s just guaranteed to be an amazing show. The card: Pre Show: KUDO vs. Claudio Castagnoli Izzy vs. Dunn Matt Sydal vs. Jerrelle Clark Main Show: Jack Evans vs. Jimmy Yang Sal Rinauro & Tony Mamaluke© vs. CM Punk & ??? *ROH Tag Team Championships Xavier vs. Petey Williams *ROH Pure Wrestling Championship Milano Collection AT vs. Low-Ki Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong *Steel Cell Match Bryan Danielson© vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Frankie Kazarian *ROH World Championship

I didn't even realize I still had the Davis brothers on my roster untill I was doing this tourney, and I figured Phil was the better of the two, so once I jobbed him out I fired both of them. Oh, and oldschool, this was my take of of the Head of the Class award, or whatever it is they have for their top student. I just happened to fire all but 2 of the students, so I needed something a little broader.

Matt Sydal (7:34 Belly to Belly Moonsault) Jerrelle Clark C Main Show 1. Jimmy Yang (13:08 Yang Time) Jack Evans B- 2. Tony Mamaluke(O)/Sal Rinauro (17:39 Springboard DDT) CM Punk/James Gibson(X) B+ 3. Petey Williams (12:51 Sharpshooter) Xavier B 4. Milano Collection AT (17:55 IR) Low-Ki B 5. Samoa Joe (28:13 Triangle Choke) Jay Lethal B- 6. Roderick Strong (19:48 CX 02) Austin Aries C+ 7. Christopher Daniels (47:43 Angels Wings) Frankie Kazarian(X)/Bryan Danielson B+ Overall Rating: B Notes: When James Gibson came out as CM Punk’s tag team partner, you could almost hear everyone in the crowd’s heart breaking. Sal and Tony got an amazing round of applause when they pinned Gibson to retain their tag titles, and the crowd is just eating up Punk’s “outsider” gimmick where he’s letting everyone know he’s a WWE worker, he’s getting so much heat for it. Homicide came down and started to attack Homicide but all of a sudden Samoa Joe’s music hit and Milano’s eyes got as big as a six year old’s when he sees Santa. Joe cleaned house and allowed Milano to pick up the biggest upset victory of his career. Apparently holding someone in high revere is a way to get on their good side. Following Roderick’s victory over Austin Aries, the cell’s doors were opened and Jay Lethal came in. Roderick went to defend himself but Lethal made a beeline to Aries and started wailing on him. Lethal then grabbed a mic and said: So this is your so called Generation Next? You kicked this kid out because he wasn’t worthy of a spot, and then what does he do? He beats you! You make me sick Austin Aries. You said this would be our night. That we’d leave here four and oh, en route to getting any title shots we wanted. But what happened? Nothing! We got killed, not a single one of us got a victory, and I blame you. We were supposed to be a team, but where was the teamwork? You didn’t have my back like you said you would! I came to you because you’re one of the few people to beat the big Samoan behemoth, I thought you could be able to help me, and you said you could! But now I see it was all a lie! You weren’t going to help us. You needed us! You thought with a fine group of talent around you you’d be invincible. Ha, isn’t that a lie? You couldn’t win even if you facing Mae Young! But I mean I should’ve known better, ‘cause I mean how do they announce you when you get to this ring? Oh, that’s right, former World Champion Austin Aries. Generation Next? It should be Generation Past. Face it Aries, it’s over. Your run, your little hope for the dominant force in this company, all of it died because of your selfishness. Alex Shelley was a good man who caught a tough break and you damn near crucified him for it, and then through his blooded, mangled, flesh ridden body into the Dead Sea to watch him scream in pain as he drowned. And to think, you guys started this little group together, and that’s the thanks he got? How can you even look at yourself in the mirror Austin Aries, how can you call yourself human, much less a man? But you know, Alex had it right, Nana’s a good man who treats people a hell of a lot better then you do, so, Austin Aries, thanks for the lesson, to never trust a has been.” And after that, The Embassy’s music hit and Lethal walked to the back and was greeted by Prince Nana who had his arms open in acceptance and they hugged and raised Lethal’s hand before making his way to the back. Christopher Daniels finally accomplished his dream, and the Prophecy has been fulfilled. He became the 8th ROH World Champion with his victory over Frankie Kazarian. Danielson was doing a good job of keeping pinfalls from happening, but suddenly Petey Williams came out and leveled him with a stiff shot from the Pure title, and Daniels capitalized and pinned Frankie for the 1-2-3, and his second ROH Championship.

kadekash: Your hopes might br granted sooner than you expect! ERstyle: Thanks for the comment! And yeah, I have some good stuff lined up for Aries, so just sit back and enjoy Oldschool: Sorry about the Claudio thing, but I haven't actually seen him, and his stats on RaveX lead me to believe he's only average, and I wanted to finish up the elimination matches so I could actually get to the tourney, and the main show was already stuffed with no real room to take space from so I put them on pre-show duty. I gave Sydal/Clark the longer time cause I thought they'd be the best lead-in to the show. But don't worry, Claudio could always get a shot at the title later on!

Newswire Coming Up: January 4 – Agganis Arena Final Battle was an incredible night and we thank every one of you who came out and gave it your all for the whole night. It makes what we do worth doing to have fans like you out in the crowd every single week. We’re expanding our TV show up to the New England area this week, and will be at the more spacious Agganis Arena. This should be a break from the traditional venues in the Tri-State area and we hope to still draw the same amount of an audience. If you’re in the New England area, come out and bring a friend! We have the tournament for the Young Lion Championship all worked out and ready! The first round matches include: Delirious vs. Izzy Matt Sydal vs. Harry Smith Sterling James Keenan vs. Milano Collection AT Ricky Landell vs. KUDO With 3 weeks till Trios Tournament 2k6, where we’re planning on crowning our champion, we’ll have 2 first round matches a week, and then the week before the show we’ll have the semi-final matches to decide who’ll go on to the Championship match. This week will feature Ricky Landell versus KUDO and Delirious versus Izzy. Bryan Danielson was said to have been extremely unbalanced emotionally following his title loss and went from bouts of crying to screaming for Petey Williams’ blood. The former champion will be in action this week against BJ Whitmer, who should watch out if he knows what’s good for him. Our main event for the show will be an extremely high quality match with Milano Collection AT and his savior Samoa Joe will go up against the two members of the squad that’s been giving him problems lately, Low Ki and Homicide of The Rottweilers. Joe saved Milano and allowed him to get the pinfall victory over Ki at Final Battle, but it was definitely not the final confrontation between Milano and The Rottweilers, and the with Joe being added to the mix this feud is just heating up! The Card: Izzy vs. Delirious Ricky Landell vs. KUDO BJ Whitmer vs. Bryan Danielson Milano Collection AT & Samoa Joe vs. Low-Ki & Homicide

ROH Warriors of the Ring Episode 5 Wednesday, January 4, 2006 Agganis Arena 1. Delirious (7:31 Chemical Imbalance II) Izzy C 2. KUDO (7:48 Double Drop) Ricky Landell D 3. Bryan Danielson (17:48 Cattle Mutilation) BJ Whitmer C- 4. Samoa Joe(O)/Milano Collection AT (17:37 Triangle Choke) Low-Ki/Homicide(X) C+ Overall Rating: C Notes: Bryan Danielson brought the hurt and brought it fast. He nearly killed Whitmer with an incredibly stiff Roaring elbow that could’ve broken his jaw, and knocked him out of consciousness. Whitmer still continued on to the best of his abilities but Danielson was in control and drug this match out way to long as he continued to beat and toy with BJ. Most of the crowd turned away and some even left after seeing the inhuman beating that was being delivered which was good because the ending came when Danielson locked in the Cattle Mutilation at the highest angle we’ve ever seen and a sickening crack was heard as Whitmer’s arms went limp from an apparent broken collarbone.

Newswire Coming Up: January 11 – The New Alhambra Milano Collection AT has been the talk of ROH stars and fans a like lately for his impressive showings lately; however none of the talks are how he’s one of the front runners for the ROH Young Lions Championship. This week he’ll be in his first round match against Sterling James Keenan, who’s looking for a major win to propel him onto the ROH regular roster. The other opening round match this week has been the most hotly contested match in the entire tournament, with whoever wins having a definite advantage by having a victory in such an incredibly hard-fought contest, as Harry Smith goes one on one with Matt Sydal! We tried to get a word in with BJ Whitmer after his match last week to no avail. We asked the condition of his collarbone, to which he quickly responded it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t matter what condition he’s in, he refuses to work in a promotion that features such a whack job as Bryan Danielson. Speaking of Bryan Danielson, he’s involved in one of the two titles matches that have been signed for Trios Tournament 2k6 which is quickly approaching!!! First off we have Bryan Danielson working under Pure Rules against Petey Williams in a match signed because of the escalating tension between these two. And you guessed it, the other half of the problem, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels will go one on one for the last time, this time with the ROH Championship on the line. Will Daniels pick up the clean victory to finally end this feud or will Kazarian weasel his way to Daniels having the shortest title reign in ROH history? Petey Williams, has decided he will work at every single show he can just to prove his dominance at a pure style of wrestling to the world and specifically Bryan Danielson. This week he’s been signed on to face Jimmy Rave! Rave will have all the Embassy forces at ringside, Lethal, Shelley, Reyes, and Abyss, and Williams will have both of his protégés to keep an eye on them. Punk however will not be ringside, as he’ll be prepping for his main event tag team contest between his new-found ally, OVW Champion, James Gibson and himself against AJ Styles and Chris Sabin. This contest features four of the biggest names in ROH and is expected to be a phenomenal match!!! The Card: Milano Collection AT vs. Sterling James Keenan Harry Smith vs. Matt Sydal Petey Williams© vs. Jimmy Rave *ROH Pure Wrestling Championship CM Punk & James Gibson vs. AJ Styles & Chris Sabin
