Two more things: can you explain the backstory (if there is one) to the signing of Booker T? Cause im pretty sure he had a contract with WWE on that mod.

Also, can yoi regularly update the roster section on the first page of the dynasty? This would be very helpfull, alowing us to keep track of who signs, who leaves, andd what workers remain with the company.

I think Booker, along with Ric Flair, were the only guys I had to alter the contract status of at the start of the dynasty. Although I've made it my goal to make this sim as realistic as a WCW-reboot dynasty can be, I figured since Booker was only in an out-of-ring role on WWE's B-show and Flair makes very rare appearances on a Legends contract, it made sense to put them in WCW, given their ties to the company historically. Plus I needed just a bit of star power to make the dynasty interesting for the reader!

Your second suggestion is a really good idea and I've actually recently contemplated putting a section at the start of the OP that has the current roster/news/champions/events/etc.. I'll get one up today!

After the match, The American Wolves run down to the ring and attack the Double Dragons from behind. They lay the boots to them for a short while, before grabbing their Tag Team Titles and celebrating with them, signifying they believe they should be the champions. (D+)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Roddy_Piper.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ric_Flair2.jpg

Backstage, Roddy Piper barges into WCW commissioner Ric Flair's office. Piper tells Flair all four of his clients are out injured this week at the hands of Alex Shelley, Colt Cabana and Antonio Banks, and that they should be punished for his actions. Flair tells Piper he's not going to punish them, but if Piper and his clients want revenge, they can face those three and the man they saved, Bobby Lashley, in a 4-on-4 match at Starrcade. Piper agrees to the match and walks away, but re-thinks this decision and comes back to tell Flair "on second though, tell them to find a partner and make it 5-on-5.", before walking away. (B)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Low_Ki3.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/TerryFunk2.jpg

After the match, Low Ki, still on a tear after losing an important match two weeks ago, doesn't let the bell stop his attack and he continues to assault another newcomer in Prince Devitt. This continues for a few moments until Terry Funk returns to make the save! Funk runs down with a chair in hand and levels Low Ki with it, knocking him out the ring. Funk grabs a mic and tells Low Ki he stayed home the last couple weeks because he's afraid of what happens if he ends his career, but he can't stand idly by and watch anymore. He tells Low Ki that at Starrcade, he's putting his career on the line once again, if Low Ki meets him in the ring for a street fight! Funk drops the mic and leaves after issuing the challenge. (C-)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ScottSteiner2.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/MarkJindrak4.jpg

Backstage, Scott Steiner walks into Jindrak's dressing room. Steiner hands Jindrak an envelope, which Jindrak looks into, but Steiner tells him "it's all there". Jindrak puts down the envelope and tells Steiner that a match against Batista wasn't part of the deal, he was only supposed to attack him. Steiner tells him not to worry about it, and that he can handle it, but it's apparent he just doesn't care about Jindrak's fate. Steiner walks off as Jindrak looks on, concerned. (C+)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/ReyMysterio8.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Chavo_Guerrero_Jr.jpg

Elsewhere backstage, Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero are in their dressing room. Rey profusely apologizes to Chavo about what Chavo feels was costing him the tag team title, but Rey tries to tell Chavo that dirty tactics just aren't his style. Chavo tells Rey if he's really sorry, he'll make it up to him by giving him the shot against John Hennigan tonight for the WCW Cruiserweight title. Rey says he can't do that, and walks off for his match. Chavo stares on as Rey walks away, boiling inside. (B-)

After the match, Scott Steiner runs down and tries to run into the ring to attack Batista from behind, but Batista sees this and stops him from coming in. Batista makes Steiner watch from ringside as he lifts Jindrak up for another Batista Bomb. Batista's music play's as a frustrated Steiner walks up the ramp. (B+)

Backstage, Roderick Strong confronts Kevin Steen again, Strong tells Steen he had to cheat again in order to beat him, and that Steen knows he can't beat him in a fair match. Strong then challenges Steen to another singles match, but Steen laughs it off again. Steen tells Strong he'll make him a deal; if he can beat Adam Pearce later tonight, Steen will face him at Starrcade. A confident Roderick Strong accepts and walks off. (C+)

John Hennigan vs Rey Mysterio

(WCW Cruiserweight Title)

Rey Mysterio defeats John Hennigan to become the new WCW Cruiserweight Champion. Near the end of the match, Chavo Guerrero inteferes, and in an attempt to get revenge on Rey Mysterio, takes him out during a ref bump by hitting him with the Cruiserweight Title. Shelton Benjamin then runs down to restore order, and tosses Chavo out of the ring. Shelton turns around in time to duck a wheel kick from Hennigan, and when Hennigan gets back up, he eats a Superkick from Shelton, allowing Rey to hit the West Coast Pop. The referee slowly comes to, to count the pinfall, in a very good match. (B)

After the match, Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin celebrate up the ramp with their WCW Cruiserweight and US Titles, as a furious and shocked John Hennigan and Chavo Guerrero are in the ring, standing dumbfounded. Hennigan and Chavo shout inaudible threats to the two champs, but they just hold up their titles to them. (B)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Ric_Flair2.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg

Backstage, Bryan Danielson bursts in Ric Flair's office. Danielson says he just got hear, not knowing he was even booked tonight, and is furious over having to face Booker T in advance of their match at Starrcade. He demands Flair cancel the match, but Flair tells Danielson after his actions the past few weeks, Booker deserves a one on one shot against him. On top of this, Flair tells Danielson he's also sent The American Wolves home for the night, after they attacked the Double Dragons, and if they come back tonight to get involved between Booker and Danielson, they'll be suspended. A furious Danielson screams in Flair's face before storming off. (B+)

After the match, Kevin Steen immediately goes on the attack on Roderick Strong, attacking him from behind, with Adam Pearce joining in shortly after. Having seen enough, WCW commissioner Ric Flair comes down to the ring to try and stop the chaos. He tries to pry Steen off of Strong, but Steen shoves him away. Flair tries once more but Steen turns around and socks Flair in the face! Flair gets back up, but Steen kicks him the stomach and hits his Package Piledriver on the WCW Comissioner! WCW officials run down to the ring to break things up as Steen and Pearce leave Flair and Strong laying in the ring.

Booker T vs Bryan Danielson

(Non Title Match)

Booker T defeats Bryan Danielson via DQ. After a decent back and forth match, Booker and Danielson head to the outside, where Danielson blindsides Booker with a shot to the head with the ring-bell, costing himself the match, before things ever get a chance to fully get under way. (B-)

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Booker_T3.jpghttp://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/Daniel_Bryan3.jpg

After the match, Danielson tosses Booker T in the ring and sets him up for another shot in the head with a the ring bell. He swings at Booker when he gets up, but Booker ducks, kicks Danielson in the stomach, and hits the Scissor Kick! After three weeks of Danielson having his hands in the air at the end of the night, Nitro goes off the air as Booker T celebrates with his WCW World Heavyweight Title, as Tony and DDP talk about the revenge Danielson and The American Wolves must be plotting for next week. Bobby Lashley vs Rob Conway

- Conway is best used as a speed bump, since he bumps so well.

The Bullies vs The Double Dragons © (WCW Tag Team Titles)

- It's a dark match, so I can't see you changing champs for anything less than a TV spot. I could be wrong, though.

Jushin Liger vs Prince Devitt

- Liger is God. That having being said, this should be an outstanding match.

Chris Mordetzky and Michael Elgin vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi

- Mordetzky's a solid lower-midcarder in my opinion and I know nothing of Elgin. Nakamura and Tanahashi, on the other hand, are rock-solid.

Jack Evans vs Shannon Moore

- This may be a good match, but I look for Moore to come out on top.

Adam Cole vs John Hennigan

- Unless I read the last few posts totally wrong, I got the impression you're gearing up to push Hennigan.

---

The American Wolves vs Londrick

- I can't say how much I love me some Londrick/Hooliganz, but it would make little sense for them to beat TAW.

Antonio Banks vs Petey Williams © (WCW Television Title)

- I feel like Banks is the more marketable champion, so I'd go with him.

Low Ki and Kazuchika Okada vs Terry Funk and a tag partner of his choice

- That partner could be a squashing machine, like Goldberg. Or, it could be an undebuted monster ready to knock around Ki and Okada.

Carly Colon and Chavo Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin

- Those two are the bigger superstars in my opinion. Mysterio debuted not long ago with the promotion, so why kill his momentum this early?

Koji Kanemoto vs Rhyno

- I'm looking for a more agile, technical combatant to put the War Machine down.

Batista and Roderick Strong vs Scott Steiner, Kevin Steen and Adam

Pearce

- The others have numbers, but I'm gonna go with the herd on this one.

Sorry guys, family emergency led to me being gone this weekend, but everything is resolved and okay now, so onward to Starrcade we go! I'm working on the update right now, so the go-home Nitro will be up in an hour or two!

Predictions

Question: I see you just registered, and because of your username I've gotta ask: Are you reading the dynasty because of how I'm pushing the Japanese workers on the roster? It's pretty obvious I'm a mark for Japanese wrestling considering how many workers on my roster are from Japan, or work regularly in Japan (Ki, Devitt, Funk, etc...) so I'm just curious!

Also, don't hate me if those guys aren't winning much to start, I wanna push guys like Ibushi/Okada/Yoshino, etc.. but since they start with such low popularity in America, they have to suffer a lot of dark matches and losses to start with. Tanahashi/Nakamura actually have some popularity here, so they'll be getting pushed sooner than later, but I pulled the trigger too early on Dragon Kid and Koji Kanemoto I think. Should have started their pushes a few months later once they gained more steam!

Oh, no, dude. Please don't think that. I love Puroresu as much as the next guy but I rejoined the forum because I liked TEW 2013's dynasties(yours in particular) and wanted to get back into the game before buying it myself. The name is also unrelated. I realize that I'm a little biased on the Puro performers, but that's just me. I like how you're doing WCW so far and want to see how it plays out, with or without said workers. This is your dynasty and we're all spectators. Play it how you need to.

Hope everything is going well with you and yours.

Edit: Clarification and Addition.

The last Nitro before WCW's Flagship event, Starrcade, kicks off with the familiar sounds of WCW part-owner Eric Bischoff's music hitting the speakers. Bischoff grabs a mic and starts off with the news that although WCW is in Carolina, Ric Flair will not be present tonight as he is out injured at the hands of Kevin Steen last week, to which to the crowd, of course, does not respond fondly too. The Bisch goes on to say that tonight is a throwback to the WCW of the past, as he's running the show once again, and as his first act, he makes tonight's main event; a match that he's granted under special requested from Big Poppa Pump himself: Scott Steiner, Kevin Steen and Adam Pearce vs Batista and Roderick Strong in a handicap match. Before he leaves, Bischoff makes an alteration to the upcoming Londrick vs The American Wolves match; the winners will face the Double Dragons at Starrcade for the WCW Tag Team Titles! With that, he leaves the ring and Tony and DDP discuss how there's no doubt Bischoff intends to put his mark on the night! (B-)

Funk and Ki brawl until Dustin Rhodes steps in to break it up, and tells Low Ki if he wants to get at Funk before their match at Starrcade, then he can get a partner and meet he and Funk in the ring for a tag match later tonight! Team Canada eventually use their numbers to beat their opponents down, and Lance Storm grabs the mic. Shown on the big screen now is a pre-taped interview with Kevin Nash and Bill Goldberg, in advance of their Starrcade match, with Tony Schiavone mediating. Goldberg tells Nash he killed the original WCW with his poor, friend-favoring booking and that WCW was best without him, so Goldberg plans to rid WCW of Kevin Nash this Sunday at Starrcade. Nash tells Goldberg he was just the right guy at the right time, and he's let his ego get the best of him over the years. He tells Goldberg he was the death of WCW, because WCW was beating WWE in the ratings before Goldberg even debuted. Nash says he wants to bring back WCW to it's glory days, when he ran the show, and if Goldberg wants to get rid of him at Starrcade, then he suggest the loser leave WCW. Goldberg agrees and the two stare down as Nitro heads back to the live feed. (B)

Carly Colon and Chavo Guerrero defeat Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin. Chavo Senior distracts Rey Mysterio on the outside, which draws the referee's attention, allowing John Hennigan to run down and hit an unsuspecting Shelton Benjamin with his own Superkick. Chavo covers Shelton up for the tainted win. (C+)

After the match, Chavo Guerrero grabs the Cruiserweight Title and nails Rey from behind as he argues with the referee over the outcome of the match. Chavo gets a mic and tells Rey that tonight was just a preview of things to come, because Eric Bischoff has told him that at Starrcade it's Chavo vs Rey for the Cruiserweight title! Chavo passes the mic to John Hennigan who tells Shelton the same goes for him because Eric Bischoff has aldo made put the two against each other in a WCW US Title match! Hennigan drops the mic and leaves with Chavo and Carly as their music plays.(B)

Backstage, Warrior walks into Eric Bischoff's office and tells him that time's up. Either Hogan shows up to accept Warrior's challenge or Bischoff's ass is on the line. Bischoff tells Hogan he's got bad news for him, which Warrior interrupts as Hogan not being here, however, Bischoff smiles and tells Warrior to turn around. He does so, and gets a big right hand from a blindsiding Hogan in the process. Hogan beats him down in Bischoff's office much to his delight until Warrior is bruised and bloodied, before Hogan tells Warrior he'll see him in the ring on Sunday. It's on! Back from commercial, #1 contender to the WCW Title; Bryan Danielson, is standing in the ring, which is set up for a contract signing. Danielson has a mic in his hand, and immediately invites Booker T to come join him. Booker comes down to the ring with his WCW title draped over his shoulder. Booker tells Danielson that he might not have jumped ship just to lose, but Booker didn't come out of retirement just to get beaten in the biggest event in WCW history. Booker tells Danielson he knows age his catching up to him, but at Starrcade he's gonna bring the heat, the best Booker T that Danielson has ever seen, and he's going to walk out of Starrcade the WCW Champion. Danielson just stares at Booker, before signing the contract, and holding out the pen to his opponent. Booker stares back at Danielson, signs the contract, and gets in Danielson's face to talk some inaudible trash. Booker goes to leave, but as he's going through the ropes, Danielson dropkicks him into the barricade! Danielson goes to the outside and stomps Booker a few times before picking up his WCW title. As Booker stumbles back to his feet, Danielson hits him with the title, and holds it up to the crowd and Nitro heads to it's final commercial of the night. (B+)

Batista and Roderick Strong vs Kevin Steen, Adam Pearce and Scott Steiner

Steen, Pearce and Steiner defeat Batista and Strong by using their numbers to their advantage; distracting the referee, cheating and interfering, until Scott Steiner hits the Double Underhook Powerbomb on Roderick Strong for the pin. (C+)

After the match, Steiner, Pearce and Steen continue the beatdown on Batista and Roderick Strong. They tie them up in the corners, running into them with clotheslines, before stomping them in the middle of the ring relentlessly. This goes on for a short while until WCW Commissioner Ric Flair, thought to be at home, comes running down to the ring, much to the delight of the Carolina crowd. Flair takes Pearce down with a poke to the eyes before stopping Steen with a chop to the throat. Steiner attempts a clothesline on Flair, but he ducks it and dropkicks Steiner in the front of the knee; buckling it and knocking him down. This gives Batista and Strong enough time to recover, and they clear the ring of Steiner and Steen as Flair locks the Figure Four on Adam Pearce. Pearce taps and screams in pain as Steen and Steiner can only look on. Flair lets go and Batista tosses Pearce out as Flair grabs a mic. Flair tells Steen that when you mess with the bull; you get the horns, and after he messed with Flair last week, he's booking himself in a match at Starrcade; Flair and Strong vs Pearce and Steen! Nitro goes off the air as Flair's music plays and he celebrates in front of his home crowd. (B+)

Very nice diary, especially considering you have such a large roster. This Starrcade card is partially going into the time machine with Hogan vs Warrior, Nash vs Goldberg and Flair and Funk in action as well. Keep up the good work

On a side note it would be interesting in your wrestling observer recaps how this long room is doing. With this large and diverse a group I gotta think there has to be some serious issues going on behind the scenes
