<span>http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3175/gcwa.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Instead of making my usual end of the year roster review, I´m just going to give a quick round-up about things mainly because the roster is pretty much work in progress at the moment. On overness department, things are summed up rather quickly by saying that Linette Bruce, Madalene Demers, Leo Orton and Bill Criss have F overness while everyone else is still on F-. As a result, current card positions don´t mean all that much since those change on monthly basis depending who is winning/losing on each month. So instead of going guys one-by-one I just group them together by the roles that I currently see them having in GCW. </p><p> </p><p>

Main event Guys:</p><p> </p><p>

Bill Criss</p><p>

Karl Cooper</p><p>

Leo Orton</p><p>

Mario Nash</p><p> </p><p>

<em>These four are still considered my main event players and that´s unlikely to change unless someone impresses me enough to warrant a push. Of these four, I rate Orton as best in-ring performer while Cooper seems to be pretty good on microphone. As my main players they obviously have pretty safe jobs at the moment.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Midcard Tag Guys:</p><p> </p><p>

Raul York</p><p>

Loyal Caron</p><p>

Rolando Landry</p><p>

Austin Michel</p><p>

Sauville Caron</p><p>

Garlan Roberts</p><p>

Philip Alessio (hopefully)</p><p>

Paris Young (hopefully)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I usually like to have at least four midcard/upper midcard tag teams in my promotion to form a backbone to my tag division and these eight guys are the ones who form that group in GCW. If you look at my thoughts when I first signed these guys, you notice that most of them where billed as midcard guys from the beginning. Now admittedly there are few question marks over some of these guys, for example I don´t yet know if Alessio and Young have negative chemistry. There´s also question mark over Loyal Caron as his inability to keep overness after winning tag matches makes me wonder if he can be pushed past jobber status at all. Right now though these men will form the midcard for me and thus get about equal number of wins and losses during the year. Like main event guys, these guys have pretty safe jobs for now since I usually build tag teams on the idea that they will stay together for few years though there are exceptions on that rule as has already been seen in this diary.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Midcard singles guys:</p><p> </p><p>

Austin Murdock</p><p>

Harvey Burkman</p><p> </p><p>

<em>As you can see this is pretty small group, mainly because my midcard tends to be populated by my top tag teams. Murdock is here because his psychology while Burkman is here because he´s my current midcard champ. Murdock has pretty safe job at the moment but Burkman´s negative backstage influence makes him a possible cut if I decided to improve the rating.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Jobbers:</p><p> </p><p>

Blaze Bergeron</p><p>

Leonore Turcotte</p><p>

Laurence Bédard</p><p>

Quiet Bertrand</p><p>

Patrick Freebush</p><p>

Rainger Desjardins</p><p>

Harvey Kipp</p><p> </p><p>

<em>These guys are in GCW to take falls and make others look good. None of them have a safe job simply because their overness will stagnate at some point and thus they need to be replaced by new jobbers.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Women Division:</p><p> </p><p>

Linette Bruce</p><p>

Madalene Demers</p><p>

Yumako Ekiguchi</p><p>

Adalicia Garner </p><p>

Darci Cloudier</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The top performers in GCW. I group them as one simply because there just isn´t enough wrestlers to make much difference but basically Bruce, Demers and Ekiguchi are rated higher than Garner and Cloudier thanks to the bad backstage presence that the last two have.</em></p><p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>I figured it would be fun to check how other promotions are doing currently too so here are quick review on those. I only included TPW, CSW, OPW, WotW and GLLM here since other promotions are still new and thus not yet established. If you want to know more about certain promotions/wrestlers, just ask and I give more detailed information.</p><p> </p><p>

TPW United States (midcard): Battle Axe (2 times champion)</p><p>

TPW Tag Team (floating): Self & Big Ray Dubya</p><p>

TPW Women´s (floating): Jackie Flash</p><p> </p><p>

<em>So basically TPW´s roster is the guys they started minus Gideon, Shinsuke and Jass with Edgar Rodriquez being the only computer generated guy. There´s a little cap on overness between main event guys (plus Synn) and the rest of the guys so guess those six will be the ones who carry TPW for next few years. I´m little bit skeptical about TPW´s ability to make new stars since none of those many graduates that have been in TPW for few months haven´t managed to even gain F overness in USA. Right now it won´t be a problem but once some of those older workers start to retire, it might become one and it will be interesting to see how computer manages to handle that situation. Looking at their current show ratings TPW produces D+ - C- rated shows on regular basis but can´t seem to get any higher than that as they have only one C rated show during the two years.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>First thing that catch on eye is the low number of male wrestlers in CSW roster. I would definitely have plenty more than just 10. Also three from those 10 are on wrong side of 40 which don´t help CSW´s case either. On term of match ratings they seem to hover between D and D+ being close to TPW but not quite catching them. Women division is as strong as it could be (literally as there aren´t any American based women wrestlers who AI could sign) so at least they are doing something right.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><p><em>

Overall, I like OPW´s roster more than CSW´s or TPW´s as it´s a nice mix of computer generated guys and guys who are in the database at the start. That said there is a huge overness cap between main event and everyone else and while the top four (Allstot, Bone, McGregor and Redd) seems to have gained overness, pretty much everyone else is either stagnant or have lost some. OPW has so far hold ten shows and seven of them got C- or better (they have three C rated shows) so they seem to be strongest of the three American promotions in terms of show grades. That said, I feel that little bit too much is currently hanging on their top guys so if they lose even one of them they might quickly be in trouble. </em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Overall GLLM seems to be doing well and the amount of overness their top guys have gathered in a year is huge as Hellbringer had risen from E to D+ while Cabrera and Blanco had gone from nothing to E+ and E overness in little over a year (compare that to me to see how big the difference is and you get a pretty good idea how much I suck in this game </em><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><em>). The show ratings have gone from E to D- and the latest show they had was their first D rated show. With Hellbringer being 32 and everyone else being around 20 they are pretty safe for years to come and it´s interesting to see how they do against American based companies once the top stars like Terry Titan and AJ Allstot start to retire. Interesting note is that GLLM have occasionally run shows in Northern Mexico (three time form 15 shows). The latest was in May 1981. Not sure what´s the idea there as I can´t really figure why they would hold shows there instead of their home area?</em></p><p><em>

Wow, and I thought that GLLM had solid overness levels, seriously WotW openers are about same overness level than MY main eventers. Congratulations Zergon, you have really succeeded of making Canada a real backwoods area as far as wrestling goes </em><img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><em>. As with GLLM, it will be interesting to see how WotW does compared to USA based promotions once the playing field is more even and most of those original guys have retired. I wouldn´t be surprised if the top promotions after 10 – 15 years are found in Mexico and Japan instead of USA. Will also be interesting to see how PoG and ECW do in Europe and UK but that has to wait until next year as they haven´t hold more than a few shows so far. Speaking of shows WotW have had shows rated between E+ and D lately. </em></p><p>

- CSW signs Herc Ulysses to contract. That´s as big addition for CSW and interesting to see if it helps them to compete with TPW and OPW. Ulysses is going to use his Hollywood Herc alter ego in CSW.</p><p> </p><p>

- Lots of title changes happening in TPW. Jay Synn and Wrestle Man becomes the new tag team champs by defeating Self and Big Ray Dubya who manages to get 13 defenses before dropping the belts.</p><p> </p><p>

- Terry Titan gets the TPW World Heavyweight title as he defeats Bishop Black. Black managed to get 10 successful defenses before dropping the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- Foxy Faye begins her second TPW Women´s title reign after defeating former champion Jackie Flash. Flash managed to have 12 successful defenses before dropping the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- Tatsuzo Kawazu becomes the new WotW #1 Contender champion after defeating Akahito Aizawa. Aizawa managed to get only 3 successful defenses before dropping the belt. </p><p> </p><p>

- LUCHA has the dubious honor of being the first promotion to die in this game as they closed down just two months after they debuted. They only managed to hold three shows during their existence.</p><p> </p><p>

- Paris Young and Puppet Master won the CSW tag titles from Shinsuke and Warhammer. Despite holding the titles for a year, Shinsuke and Warhammer had zero defenses with the tag belts which pretty much tell everything you need to know about CSW´s tag division. Oh, and the name for the new team? The Pencil Pushers! That´s sure to strike fear to any opponents they will be facing. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

- Here is the top 25 wrestlers based on 1981 performance:</p><p>

Power 25:</p><p> </p><p>

1. Daniel Bone</p><p>

2. Herc Ulysses (Terry Titan)</p><p>

3. Mauler McGregor</p><p>

4. AJ Allstot</p><p>

5. Bishop Black</p><p>

6. Jay Synn</p><p>

7. Battle Axe</p><p>

8. Wrestle Man</p><p>

9. Shinsuke</p><p>

10. Douglas Bryson</p><p>

11. Self</p><p>

12. Blood Redd</p><p>

13. Big Ray Dubya</p><p>

14. El Espiritu II</p><p>

15. Hiroji Irie</p><p>

16. Big Brobatos</p><p>

17. Yoshi MG</p><p>

18. Nobuyoshi Okano</p><p>

19. Hellbringer</p><p>

20. VooDude</p><p>

21. Flying Claw</p><p>

22. Running Boot</p><p>

23. Sadahige Shimedzu</p><p>

24. Nelson Maverick</p><p>

25. Andre Oliver (Warhammer)</p><p> </p><p>

Not much surprises here as the top guys are all guys from the starting database as it should be considering the overness advantage they has to computer generated guys. As for computer generated guys, Hiroji Irie is the best of them with his 15 spot with Nobuyoshi Okano (18) and Sadahige Shimedzu (23) also making on top 25.</p><p> </p><p>

AS for GCW wrestlers, the top five where Madalene Demers (49), Leo Orton (59), Darci Cloudier (63), Karl Cooper (65) and Linette Bruce (66). At total there was 87 eligible wrestlers and after 69 spot (hold by Bill Criss) there was only five guys who don´t work for me so there´s no question which promotion did the worst in-ring job (though no-one from ECW or PoG weren´t eligible yet so it might be different next year).</p><p> </p><p>

Here is NLE´s starting roster:</p><p> </p><p>

Active Wrestlers:</p><p> </p><p>

- Andrzej Ilic, Age: 22, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p> </p><p>

- Boone Iida, Age: 19, Style: Technician, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Gage Lévesque, Age: 19, Style: Technician, Size; Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p> </p><p>

- Gustavo Alves, Age: 19, Style: Cruiserweight, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p> </p><p>

- Gustavo Michel, Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Light Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Weak, Face: Average, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Manuel Rua, Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p> </p><p>

- Marquise Rossi, Age: 22, Style: Technician, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Strong, Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p> </p><p>

- Mathias Carlsson, Age: 19, Style: Technician, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p> </p><p>

- Melker Eriksen, Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Strong, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Oscar Halvorsen, Age: 22, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Pavlos Antzas, Age: 22, Style: Brawler, Size; Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p> </p><p>

- Rafael Filho, Age: 19, Style: Spot Monkey, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Reidar Martin, Age: 19, Style: Technician, Size; Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Telemachus Fyssas, Age: 19, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size; Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Strong, Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p> </p><p>

Non-wrestlers:</p><p>

- Aldous Mayer, age: 48, Road agent.</p><p>

- Nojus Pietrowski, age: 21, Colour Commentator</p><p>

- Robin Andreyev, Age: 21, Announcer</p><p>

- Rory Kernen, Age: 53, Road Agent, Owner</p><p>

- Victor Korhonen, Age:21, Referee</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

If the roster looks similar to PoG´s that´s because it is as only Gage Lévesque, Rafael Filho and Victor Korhonen have never been in PoG. Marquise Rossi isn´t in PoG currently either but he worker there from September 1981 to December 1981 before leaving after argument with their head booker Aldous Mayer.</p>

<p>February 1982</p><p> </p><p>

- New bunch of wrestlers enter the game world and man is there lots f them with extremely high worker frequency. 22 new faces are included in the wrestling world. I will leave the generation for extremely high for the next group too but will tune it down a little bit after that.</p><p> </p><p>

- TPW signed bunch of graduates to contracts: </p><p> </p><p>

- Teadoro Diaz, Age: 18, Style: Brawler, Size: Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: High, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Bill Bonello, Age: 17, Style: Entertainer, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average.</p><p> </p><p>

- Roy Hackney, Age: 20, Style: Spot Monkey, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: High, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Danny Christison, Age: 17, Style: Spot Monkey, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak.</p><p> </p><p>

- Gammelmodig Wrestling Entertainment (GWE), Location: Europe, Size: Local, Key Feature: Traditional is the newest promotion in wrestling world and the owner is Rory Kernen, a 53 years old road agent. </p><p> </p><p>

- I had a long and hard debate with myself about whatever or not I should apply to GWE´s head booker position. At one hand I would like to move to somewhere else since I´m little bit frustrated at the lack of progress in GCW but on other hand GWE is performance over popularity promotion and quick look on possible hires informed me that pretty much none of them have had a match better than F+ so far in their careers so it looks like the situation would be even worse than in GCW… Then again, I also need to consider the fact that I have critical owner goal of not losing popularity that I´m currently failing. That goal has year and 3 months left so there´s still time but I´m not too convinced about my chances currently. I also would like to see GCW rise a little bit higher so that they could compete with WotW and GLLM and I think that AI would do a lot better job than what I would do on that while I would likely be able to do about as good if not little bit better job with GWE than what AI would (mainly because AI usually sink local promotions pretty fast as was demonstrated with LUCHA). I also checked if there would be any more debuting promotions for a next year or two that would catch my interest but didn´t find all that many so GWE looks like my best bet if I want to move elsewhere…. At the end I decided to apply the GWE head booker position and see what will come with it. It might be a mistake but the plan is to stay there just 1 – 2 years anyway since there looks to be plenty on interesting promotions debuting in 1984 – 1985 and I´m pretty sure I will jump to one of those when the time comes.</p><p> </p><p>

- After signing all the new graduates, TPW did fire several of their current roster members. The guys fired where Running Boot, Flying Claw, Nelson Maverick and Halloweenie.</p><p> </p><p>

- NLE hold their first show. It got E- rating.</p><p> </p><p>

- Oscar Halvorsen won the NLE Triple Crown (singles, main event) title while Melker Eriksen becomes their first ever NLE National (singles, midcard) champion.</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW is starting another tour and are signing some foreign workers to touring contracts. This time the signed guys are Bobby Lawler, Age: 19, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Light Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Weak, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong and Harold Batch, Age: 21, Style: Entertainer, Size: Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW also signs Jeremy Batch, Age: 22, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average to touring contract. And no despite their same last name and the fact that they are both from Australia Harold and Jesse aren´t related to each other´s.</p><p> </p><p>

- Maria Crash joins ECW, thus giving them a second women wrestler. Age: 18, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Strong, Face: Average, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- I did get the head booker position of GWE thus ending my GCW career at least for the time being. The next post will be the roster preview and the one after that will be the February´s show. </p><p> </p><p>

- NLE signs Wevers Jansen to p.p.a contract. Age: 18, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average. Jansen just debuted this month. I was actually looking to bring him in GWE too but didn´t want to compete as I could just sign someone else with cheaper prize.</p><p> </p><p>

- GCW signs pair of new guys. Legget Bertrand is rookie who just debuted this month. Age: 20, Style: Cruiserweight, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak. The other signing is Gardiner Fortin who has little bit in ring experience thanks to the fact that he was in one of the WotW tours. Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Super Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Weak, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Next day GCW makes another pair of signings. Clinton Hannigan, Age: 19, Style: Technician, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Weak, Face: Strong, Heel: Average and Roel Bealieu Age: 19, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Light Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong, joined their roster. Landry must have his roster preference set to big or really big roster since I already had few extra guys in the roster before I left and they now pretty much signed everyone who is available to them.</p><p> </p><p>

- GCW´s first show after I left was rated E+ thanks to main event between Leo Orton and Karl Cooper which was rated D-. Guess I should have had those two feuding together….</p><p> </p><p>

- And GCW continues their signing spree. This time it´s Karlis Poirier who was signed to contract. Age: 20, Style: Spot Monkey, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Average. Poirier is also new guy in the industry as he debuted just this month. There has also been news items already that declare him as best high flyer in the world so he should be solid talent despite being a spot monkey. Also GCW have now signed everyone available to them (there are some Americans, Australians etc. that could work in Canada, but as I have said before AI won´t sign wrestlers outside company´s home area).</p>

Owner Goals:</p><p> </p><p>

1) When the time (1 year 11 months 3 weeks) expires, GWE must not have fallen below 8 in company rankings. Importance: Critical</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is pretty much impossible considering the amount of companies coming in next few years, especially considering that Scandinavia is one of the worst areas to be. Then again, I didn´t plan to stay much over two years in the first place and guess this just confirms that I won´t.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

2) Can´t fall into debt at any point, 1 year 11 months, 3 weeks, Importance: critical</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Should be pretty easy goal though I might lose little bit money at the start since local sized promotions don´t usually gain that much sponsor money and I still have to pay between 600 – 900 $ to every non-wrestler in my roster. </em></p><p> </p><p>

3) Can´t hire anyone who is classified as Japanese Junior. 1 year, 5 months, 3 weeks. Importance: Average</p><p> </p><p>

<em>There are seven Japanese Juniors in the world and they all work in Japan (expect Shinsuke who also works in USA) so no big deal.</em></p><p> </p><p>

4) Can´t hire anyone who is classified as Spot Monkey. 2 years, 7 months, 3 weeks, Importance: Average</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is actually little bit annoying as I was planning to sign Rafael Filho who is a spot monkey (I had already made an offer for him). Still, Filho is only Spot Monkey that works in Europe and he was meant to be jobber anyway so no big deal.</em></p><p> </p><p>

5) You can´t hire anyone over 35. 1 year, 3 months, 3 weeks, Importance: Average</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Guess that means that Reto Anderhub isn´t an option. Then again he was already signed with three different companies so he likely wouldn´t have accepted a contract offer anyway. Anyone else I could sign isn´t over 23.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Here is the current roster. I didn´t bother to assign any gimmicks since fans didn´t care about them in the first place. Again, like last time with GCW, I have grouped the guys on three different categories based on the roles I had planned for them since no one has any overness and thus current card positions don´t tell anything. Things might change once I see how these guys actually perform but this is the starting point.</p><p> </p><p>

Male Wrestlers:</p><p> </p><p>

Top guys:</p><p>

<span>http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/2350/7mlb.jpg</span></p><p>

Turner Esch</p><p>

Age: 21</p><p>

Face</p><p>

Style: Technician</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Strong</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Esch is the only guy (that I could hire) who have had better than F+ matches with anyone not named Battle Axe or Reto Anderhub and thus he´s the one guy who I hope will carry the company forward. Esch, like pretty much everyone else on my roster is also working elsewhere, on Esch case that elsewhere is ECW where he´s a midcard guy despite the fact that he´s two matches with Turner Martin are the best matches not including Battle Axe. By-the-way it looks like Turner Martin will be a real star in ECW as he has 4 matches over F+ rating and those are the only four matches above that grade if we take out the six matches that the owner Battle Axe has wrestled. Too bad Martin isn´t available to work in Europe.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2115/jwgz.jpg</span></p><p>

Manuel Rua</p><p>

Age: 21</p><p>

Face</p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Middleweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Strong</p><p>

Physical: Average</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p>

Rua was mainly brought in because he and Reidar Martin are good friends and I figured that would help the backstage atmosphere. That said Rua also has strong in ring skills and that´s warrant a main event push at least until I figure if he´s actually any good or not. Rua is also working in both PoG and NLE, being midcard guy in PoG and upper midcard guy in NLE.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/9099/3i9l.jpg</span></p><p>

Gustavo Michel</p><p>

Age: 20</p><p>

Heel </p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Light Heavyweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Strong</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Weak</p><p>

Face: Average, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Michel was brought in to be my “big guy” and he has Strong/Strong in In-ring/Physical skills though he´s match ratings so far haven´t reflected that. Still he gets a shot to show what he´s capable of and NLE seems to trust him too as he´s currently pushed as main eventer for them while he´s also midcard guy in PoG.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/627/vkfu.jpg</span></p><p>

Telemachus Fyssas</p><p>

Age: 19</p><p>

Heel </p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Middleweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Strong</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p>

I´m not really sure Fyssas is a good pick as fourth top guy (not that any of my pick are, but Fyssas is the biggest question mark). He does have one E- match with Mathias Carlsson (who I also signed) but other than that he had four F rated and only one F+ rated match. Now some of those F rated matches where likely because of ring rust as Fyssas debuted in August 1980 and his first match was in September 1981 with PoG but I´m not fully convinced on his skills. Regardless, he does get the first shot to be a star and it seems that AI trusts him too as he´s main eventer in PoG and upper midcard guy in NLE. If he fails to be a top guy then he will be dropped to midcard just like Rolando Landry was back in GCW.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Midcard:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/2585/tgku.jpg</span></p><p>

Melker Eriksen</p><p>

Age: 20</p><p>

Heel</p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Strong</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Melker was mainly brought in because he´s one half Pin Point, current PoG tag team champions and since I was bringing his partner Reidar Martin in anyway I decided to bring Eriksen in as well. Eriksen, like pretty much every European based wrestler, currently works in both PoG and NLE and he holds NLE´s National title alongside his tag title from PoG. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/2604/5q3a.jpg</span></p><p>

Reidar Martin</p><p>

Age: 19</p><p>

Heel</p><p>

Style: Regular Technician</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Reidar was brought in for two different reasons. First, he´s good friend of Manuel Rua and that combined with good backstage presence should really help my backstage rating. Secondly he´s one half of current PoG tag team champs with Melker Eriksen and I figured their team would be a nice backbone to my tag division as well. Martin is upper midcard guy in PoG and midcard guy in NLE and that´s pretty much the role I expect him to take here too.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/5654/lv36.jpg</span></p><p>

Johnny Hill</p><p>

Age: 21</p><p>

Face </p><p>

Style: Brawler</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Average, Heel: Weak</p><p>

Admittedly, Hill´s alt played a part of me signing him but though he´s stats aren´t anything special, he haven´t had any matches worse than F+ which is more that I can say on most of the guys I could sign. The flip side is that he only had one match better than F+ and that was against Battle Axe but at least he´s consistent and I could use that so I decided to give him a shot and see if he sinks or swim on my midcard. As you might have guessed from the fact that I mentioned Battle Axe, Hill works for ECW where he´s a lower midcard guy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/9591/toed.jpg</span></p><p>

Mathias Carlsson</p><p>

Age:19</p><p>

Face </p><p>

Style: Technician</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p>

Like I said with Fyssas, Carlsson got his job mainly because that one match he and Fyssas had in first NLE event in this same month (February). Carlsson´s scouting stats show as worse than what Fyssas had but he´s match ratings have generally been slightly better. Still, it´s small sample size and I needed second heel on top (since I want Esch to be face) and Carlsson couldn´t play heel so Fyssas got that spot while Carlsson was put into midcard position which he seems to be pretty familiar with as he holds lower midcard position in both NLE and PoG.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Jobbers:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/6959/bjej.jpg</span></p><p>

Boone Iida</p><p>

Age: 19</p><p>

Face</p><p>

Style: Technician</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Average</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Iida does look like typical jobber with average rating on all three main categories and good face/heel skills. He´s good backstage presence too so I don´t see a reason why he couldn´t stay but so far neither his stats or match ratings doesn´t warrant a push above jobber status. Luckily for Iida, he has good experience as being a jobber since he works as opener in both PoG and NLE.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I originally planned to sign Filho in Halvorsen´s place but an owner goal put the end of that plan so Halvorsen got the spot instead. Halvorsen holds a midcard spot in both PoG and NLE but in here he will be jobber unless he proves that he deserves a push.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

First of all, isn´t that great alt or what? Too bad that Antzas can´t play heel as that alt screams heel to me. Even worse is that he apparently isn´t that skilled in ring either with everything being average. Still there´s more reason for me to sign Antzas than just his alt. Firstly, he´s great backstage presence and I could always use that kind of guys and secondly he have had three of his four matches in PoG with Reto Anderhub and if that continues, I figure he must pick some skills up and might well pass other rookies that seem to be ahead of him right now. If nothing more, Antzas will at least be a decent jobber for me. Antzas, like pretty much all of my European talent work in both PoG and NLE. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/1618/cvmjfpmaskedm015.jpg</span></p><p>

Murphy obviously bought his mask from the same shop than Leo Orton did. Too bad he didn´t bought the same skill set as Murphy, at least on first look seems to be a far cry from Orton. Still he´s somehow is a main eventer in ECW and their current ECW Rising Star champion despite having six of his seven matches in ECW rated as F (and the last one is hardly better as it was F+). Here, he will be nothing more than a jobber but it´s a good idea to have few “talents” outside of Europe in case that PoG or NLE decide to go a war with me or in case that I happen to have a show on a same night than PoG or NLE.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Women Division:</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia Moreno</p><p>

Age: 20</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Strong</p><p>

Physical: Average</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p>

The situation in GWE´s women division reminds me of the situation in GCW when I started. Namely I don´t have much to choose from as there are only three possibly girls I could sign and thus everyone gets in by default. Moreno is sure to have ring rust as she debuted on February 1980 and haven´t wrestled a single match so far.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/6550/obqy.jpg</span></p><p>

Dagmar Johannessen</p><p>

Age:17</p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Small</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Average, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Dagmar just debuted this month so this is obviously her first work opportunity as wrestler. She don´t look as promising as Moreno (I take Strong in-ring over strong physical skills anytime) but she looks like a solid enough performer and should have pretty secured job for at least as long as I´m here. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/7463/y2l9.jpg</span></p><p>

Gloria Gutierrez</p><p>

Age: 22</p><p>

Heel</p><p>

Style: Luchador</p><p>

Size: Small</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Weak, Heel: Strong</p><p>

Like her style gives out, Gutierrez is actually Mexican wrestler but since there´s no promotion for women in Mexico she´s now available everywhere (must be a recent change, she sure as hell wasn´t available in Canada few months ago). Of course, with the way AI is hiring, Gutierrez still haven´t found a job until now. Like Moreno, Gutierrez debuted in February 1980 and that means that there´s no way for me to avoid ring rust penalty on women´s first match. I guess I have to hope they have enough skills to cover it up or else I´m looking at bad momentum once again. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Non-wrestlers:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/4021/o129.jpg</span></p><p>

Anton Schenk</p><p>

Age: 20</p><p>

Announcer</p><p>

Schenk will be my announcer for now. I´m little bit skeptical about him as he don´t speak Scandinavian but then again none of the announcers do so guess he has to do. I just hope someone in the Audience understands Central European. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/1091/cvmjfpblackannouncerm00.jpg</span></p><p>

Massimo Costa</p><p>

Age: 21</p><p>

Colour Commentator</p><p>

No it´s not Raul York´s identical twin but my new colour commentator. The only reason he´s hired is that he was signed on the same day I got this job so I didn´t have anything to say about the matter. If I would have, I had picked Erling Lindberg instead as Costa is negative backstage presence. Actually I might still make that change at some point but for now I decided to respect the contract and let Costa keep his job for now. If he starts troubles he´s out though.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/8497/c6em.jpg</span></p><p>

Rory Kernen</p><p>

Age: 53</p><p>

Road Agent</p><p>

Rory is the owner of GWE and thus my boss. Guess that means that he´s job is safer than mine.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7335/hxa7.jpg</span></p><p>

Ugo Mancini</p><p>

Age: 18</p><p>

Referee</p><p>

Ugo was signed to a contract for a same day that I took the head booker position so I didn´t choose him myself. Still he´s average referee and not a bad backstage guy so he should stay with me for the time I am in GWE. Fun Facts: Ugo is Big Heavyweight so you definitely won´t mess with referee in GWE. Actually from the 4 referees that work in Europe, one is super heavyweight, one is big heavyweight another one is light heavyweight and the last one is middleweight. On wrestlers there is one heavyweight (and he´s Australian) and two light heavyweights, everyone else is middleweight or smaller. So basically in Europe you have big referees and small wrestlers, guess it´s easier to keep order that way, huh? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Comments: Well, that was certainly lot better than what I expected from a bunch of guys who have hardly broken the E- ratings so far. Guess it´s easier to work with work rate promotions in this particular mod at least on the first few years when no-one doesn´t have any overness. Of course, it didn´t take long for troubles to appear either as Melker Eriksen already managed to get heat from the rest of the locker room thanks to his bad attitude. I handled the situation with fatherly approach but he just told me that it was complete waste of time. Guess he didn´t learn then and on top of that he had a poor match with Manuel Rua which is little bit unfortunate as I planned to use both of them as top guys and yet they put up a worse match than guys who are penciled as jobbers. I won´t make any quick judgments just yet but both guys need to do better than that if they want to keep the roster positions that I have planned for them. Momentums where lot better now that what I got in GCW too with the exception of women (two who have ring rust for sure) and Rua plus Melker who bombed their match. Overall, this looks like a good spot to start and certainly looks more promising than what I had to work with in GCW. Another positive point is that I actually made a small profit (+1 170$) this month so guess that money goal was even easier to achieve than I thought.

Also both of my psychology testing matches (women´s match and Carlsson vs. Murphy) had good results as neither match had lack of flow notes though Murphy don´t have stamina to go past six minutes (I really hope it´s Carlsson and not Murphy who has that good psychology) and Gutierrez and Moreno had bad chemistry as opponents which really sucks with only three women in the entire division. Still could certainly be lot worse so overall I´m happy how things have started in GWE.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

<p>March 1983</p><p> </p><p>

- March starts out with two new promotions debuting on the wrestling world. First is Canadian Federation of Wrestling (CFW) in Quebec, Canada, with Bishop Black as owner. Size: Small, Key Feature: Mainstream. With Overness over popularity promotion it might have a hard time at the start though getting Black as an owner was certainly a big bonus thanks to he´s good skills set combined with D- overness around Canada.</p><p> </p><p>

- The second new promotion is Full Force Assault (FFA), In Kanto (Japan), Size: small, Key Feature: Mainstream while Comedy and Traditional are Heavy Features. Owner is 19 years old announcer Damjuru Temko.</p><p> </p><p>

- Bishop Black didn´t lose any time as he made a non-aggression deal with OPW at the same day CFW was created. </p><p> </p><p>

- WotW grows to regional size becoming the first company outside of America who gets to that level.</p><p> </p><p>

- Key Ukagi, 34 years old Road agent, becomes the head booker of FFA. </p><p> </p><p>

- WotW bolster their roster after rising to regional by signing Shigemori Shibaguchi. Age: 20, Style: Puroresu Style, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak.</p><p> </p><p>

- Turner Esch walks out from ECW after huge arguments so now he works only for me. Shame actually, since he would have developed lot faster if he had stayed in ECW too. Turned had worked with ECW since its founding in July 1981 but had only 1 win and 6 losses in his time there.</p><p> </p><p>

- Dorethy Loomis and Bradley Boone (TPW´s owner and head booker) have engaged with each other´s. Guess that means that Boone´s job as head booker is safe for the time being. </p><p> </p><p>

- NLE puts their NLE Triple Crown (singles, main event) belt on Wewers Jansen. Jansen is little bit of an odd pick as he only debuted last month and the title match was his first match ever. Talk about making a big first impression. Sadly the match rating sucked badly as the match was rated as F. Former champion Oscar Halvorsen didn´t get single successful defense before dropping the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- Boone Iida and Gustavo Michel got the vacant NLE National Tag titles (midcard belt). That´s an interesting pairing but though I have both of those guys in GWE I doubt I will use that team as Boone is a jobber for me while Michel, at least right now, is a main event guy. </p><p> </p><p>

- Yoshi MG claims the WotW Heavyweight title that was vacated when Shinsuke left the company after his touring contract ended. This is Yoshi´s second run with the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- TPW rise to cult level. Let´s see if they can stay there this time or will they drop back to regional like twice before.</p><p> </p><p>

- Both FFA and CFW held their first shows on a same date and both got E as their show grade which actually isn´t bad considering that they are both popularity over performance promotions.</p><p> </p><p>

- Tadayuki Ichisada wins the FFA World Heavyweight title (singles, main event). This is a second title that Ichisada has won during his young career as he is former WotW 1# Contender champion.</p><p> </p><p>

- Nobuyoshi Okano is the first ever FFA Young Lion (singles midcard) champion.</p><p> </p><p>

- FFA Tag Team (floating) titles goes to new pairing of Takamasa Kimio and Shumkichi Shimura. Kimio got a nice start for his career as this was his first match after debuting just last month.</p><p> </p><p>

- Yumako Ekiguchi wins FFA Womens title. You might remember Yumako from my GCW run where she was basically number two face (which sounds way more impressive until you remember that there was just two face girls in my whole roster <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) after Linette Bruce.</p><p> </p><p>

- Speaking of familiar names, GFW has plenty of those including their first GFW World Heavyweight (singles, main event) champion Loyal Caron and their CFW Top Contender (singles, midcard) champion Bill Criss.</p><p> </p><p>

- Quiet Bertrand and Mario Nash won the GFW Tag titles.</p><p> </p><p>

- CSW got new tag champs as Pencil Pushers (Paris Young & Puppet Master) proved to be about as scary as their tag team name would indicate as they lost on their first title defense. The new tag champs are Shinsuke and Hollowood Herc (Terry Titan). This is Shinsuke´s second time with the tag belts as he hold them alongside Warhammer earlier though they also failed to make any successful defenses. Actually there has been just three tag title matches in CSW´s history and every time the titles have changed hands so let´s hope the current champs at least manage to defend their titles once.</p><p> </p><p>

- It´s look like Sara Tonen is on her way out from TPW. This news happened just few days after I learned that Tonen and head booker Boone don´t come along anymore. Tonen had never carried to TPW Women´s title but she has been women wrestler of the year in both 1980 and 1981.</p><p> </p><p>

- DUW becomes second promotion to bow out as they never found an owner. Shame as it means that there´s no active wrestling promotion in Australia but it started to become pretty clear that they couldn´t find owner. Speaking of not having owner, I also decided to kill KENKA since they haven´t wound an owner yet either. I edited their money as negative so they now have about a month or two to find owner (I edit their income back to positive if they found one), otherwise they will follow LUCHA and DUW on the dead promotions list.</p><p> </p><p>

- Here is the starting roster of CFW:</p><p> </p><p>

- Austen Michel, Age: 21, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong</p><p> </p><p>

- Bill Criss, Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Super Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p> </p><p>

- Mary Howard, Age: 21, Announcer</p><p> </p><p>

As you can see pretty much all the names in this roster are familiar ones since I had them in GCW too and obviously with the exceptions of Bishop Black, Brenda Faber, Dom Imes and Mark Abbot they all still work in GCW. One noteworthy change is that Bertrand now has strong in ring and performance skill, it apparently had gone up in last September but I missed that up. Might had have given him better push if I would have seen it. I didn´t bother to list overnes levels since everyone except Bishop Black has F- overness.</p><p> </p><p>

- And here´s FFA´s roster, I only listed overness in cases where it was more than F-:</p><p> </p><p>

Two things catches my eye with this roster. First of all there are large number of guys who have some overness (only F but that´s better than what any promotion outside of USA got from a start so far), which tells that WotW has been doing good job on building overness for their stars. Secondly, there is surprisingly large number of wrestlers in this roster who currently don´t work for WotW. The wrestlers who work only for FFA are: Akinori Chikamatsu, Kazu Li, Kazu Momotami, Kobo Kondo, Shigetake Akaike (Who left WotW in March 1981 after payment dispute) and Takamasa Kimio. Add to whole women division and every non-wrestler with the exceptions of Hirokichi Mizoguchi and Tom Esch and you got plenty of guys/girls who don´t work in WotW which seems to suggest that at least in Japan there is some possibility on variations when it comes to rosters.</p>

Show Rating: E+</p><p> </p><p>

Comments: Solid show with good main and semi-main event matches. It seems I have to solid in-ring guys in Turner Esch and Mathias Carlsson and that certainly helps a lot. It was probably a mistake to put the Top Contender title on Carlsson as it starts to look like he should be main eventer instead of Manuel Rua. Oh well I can always move Carlsson´s overness elsewhere and see if he can rebuild his overness better than what others could. Also another two psychology tests and again no drag of flow note so seems that my roster is generally having lot better psychology than in GCW. Oscar Halvorsen & Jason Murphy also had a good chemistry as tag partners so guess I have a heel jobber team set-up too.</p><p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>Roster Moves:</p><p> </p><p>

New Signing:</p><p> </p><p>

Valeraine Quellet</p><p>

Age: 20</p><p>

Face </p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Very Small</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Average</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Weak, Heel: Strong</p><p>

I didn´t really want to sign Quallet because her alt being same than Gutierrez´s alt but there just isn´t much other options available as the only other girl who I could have signed is spot monkey (with WMD´s alt from Thunderverse, somehow I have hard time accepting that alt as small sized spot monkey <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) and thus blocked by owner goal and I really wanted to add another body to my women division. Hopefully the same alt won´t mess things up too much. Other than the alt problem, there´s nothing really wrong on Quellet, she clearly isn´t great talent but should find regular work thanks to the low number of female wrestlers in the industry. </p><p>

<p>April 1982</p><p>

- After another new group of 23 wrestlers, I decided to put the worker generation back to high. The reason for this is that while there is a nice number of new workers most of them are generated on USA, Mexico, Japan or Canada and only Japan and Canada really needed new talent at the moment. Europe would also benefit for new ones but they still got just 1 – 2 new workers and they can get the same amount with high level too. I keep a close eye on the worker levels and adjust it if needed but hopefully I can leave it to high for the rest of this diary.</p><p> </p><p>

- TPW signs two Titan Factory graduates to contract. Andrew Curran, Age: 18, Style: Cruiserweight, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong and Laurent Taylor, Age: 19, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Light Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak are the new signees. </p><p> </p><p>

- GLLM rises to regional size.</p><p> </p><p>

- FFA signs debuting Women wrestler Maemi Amori to contract. Age: 18, Style: Brawler, Size: Small, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- CFW signs debuting Canadian youngster Derrill Fournier to contract. Age: 19, Style: Psychopath, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- GLLM bolster their roster by signing Hector Castillo. Age: 19, Style: Entertainer, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Hector Carcia also gets contract from GLLM. Age: 18, Style: Entertainer, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Weak.</p><p> </p><p>

- NLE Triple Crown belt changes hand third time in three months when Gustavo Alves ends Wevers Jansen´s title run before it really even got started.</p><p> </p><p>

- Also NLE National Tag titles changed hands as Pavlos Antzas and Manuel Rua ended the reign of Boone Iida and Gustavo Michel at the first hurdle. </p><p> </p><p>

- GLLM makes another pair of signings to help bolster their roster after their rise to regional. First of these new signings is Luis Ruiz. Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong. Ruiz debuted in February 1982 and this is his first job opportunity. </p><p> </p><p>

- Second GLLM signing is Leon Vidal who also debuted in this year´s February. Age: 20, Style: Luchador, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Average.</p><p> </p><p>

- CFW signs rookie Deveral David to contract. Age: 20, Style: Brawler, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Yet another new face in GLLM, this time it´s Fernando Calvo. Age: 17, Style:Brawler, Size: Light Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Weak, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Lucas Navarro, former owner of LUCHA is also signed by GLLM. Age: 20, Style: Brawler, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment and Camera: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- TPW and OPW are now hostile. If this breaks up as all-out war, it will be interesting to see how that would affect their ratings as the companies share (most) of their top talent.</p><p> </p><p>

- Karlis Poirier leaves GCW for unknown reasons after fall-out with management. Poirier just managed to have one match in his short GCW career but that match was pretty promising as it was an E rated match against Leonore Turcotte. Poirier didn´t develop negative relationship with anyone possibly because the head booker position is vacant though so there´s a possibility that he´s back at some point. I certainly hope so since he looks like a great talent and it would be shame if he´s career doesn´t move anywhere just because of random incident.</p>

Comments: Main event was a slight disappointment but luckily Esch saved the show once again and he´s really becoming my MVP this time. Seems that these guys generally have better psychology than those in GCW as I have tested psychology in seven different matches and haven´t got a single lack of flow note yet. We also rose to small size after this show and as a result my shows are now medium sized and 1 h 30 min instead of small 1 h shows I had so far.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

I want to sign some guys who don´t work in PoG or NLE (or in ECW) just in case of possibly scheduling conflicts. The problem is that every European/UK guy available to me already works in one of the three promotions. In fact there were just four guys who I could sign that are unemployed and they are all Australians/New Zealanders which means that they had ring rust which in turn, makes them lot less tempting signings. So when Batch signed with WotW for a tour, I instantly decided to hire him right after the tour ends and the fact that there was another Australian guy named Batch signed to tour at the same time was just too good of a coincident to go unnoticed so I decided to make them a tag team called as Batch brothers even though they aren´t related in real life. Unfortunately Harold is another negative influence backstage and because of that Batch Brothers are unlikely to become anything else than a jobber team for me.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/8903/dm8o.jpg</span></p><p>

Jesse Batch</p><p>

Size: Middleweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p>

Like I said with his fictional brother Harold, Jesse Batch was signed mainly because he´s a guy who don´t work elsewhere and thus will be always available for my shows. Add to that funny coincident about Harold Batch and I just decided that I have to sign them. I love it when the game makes things easy for me. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/4286/z52v.jpg</span></p><p>

Scott Swick</p><p>

Age: 23</p><p>

Face</p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Middleweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Average</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Weak</p><p>

After signing Batch “Brothers” I needed to sign two faces to even up the face/heel divide. I decided to sign guys who don´t already work in two companies and who would mainly be jobbers for me and Swick fills those criteria´s as he only works for ECW and is completely forgettable in the ring. He however is former ECW British Champion even though his title reign only lasted a month. He´s also bad backstage influence which doesn´t help his changes at all.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/3217/qmiz.jpg</span></p><p>

Wevers Jansen</p><p>

Age: 18</p><p>

Face</p><p>

Style: Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Size: Lightweight</p><p>

In Ring and Performance: Average</p><p>

Physical: Strong</p><p>

Entertainment and on-camera: Average</p><p>

Face: Strong, Heel: Average</p><p>

Jansen is someone who I tried to sign to my original roster but back then he also had an offer from NLE so I decided to bail out instead of trying to sign him away from NLE. Jansen isn´t really anything special but he don´t have any real flaws either and in this point of a game that´s enough to assure that he gets a job. Jansen works for NLE too but unlike many other European talents he doesn´t work in PoG. Like Swick, Jansen also had a month reign with company´s top belt as he hold the NLW Triple Crown from March 1982 to April 1982.</p><p>

<p>May 1982</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW tour ends and that means that Bobby Lawler, Harold Batch and Jesse Batch left the company. As you already had seen I signed Harold and Jesse Batch to contract right after they left WotW</p><p> </p><p>

- OPW signed Sara Tonen to contract. After checking their product it looks like OPW has women division, but I´m not sure if they had it on the start or not but I figure they didn´t since Tonen is the first women wrestler they signed though it´s also possible that they signed her to work as manager instead. Age: 21, Style: Regular Wrestlers, Size: Very Small, Rumble: Average, Technical: Strong, High Flying: Average, Performance: Strong, Physical: Strong, Entertainment and On Camera: Very Strong, Face: Very Strong, Heel: Very Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW gets ready for the next tour and they sign plenty of talents for their next tour. The signed guys are:</p><p> </p><p>

- Gardiner Fortin, Age: 21, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Super Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Weak, Entertainment: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong. Gardiner works in GCW and this is a second time he goes to tour in WotW as he was with them in their August 1981 – November 1981 tour.</p><p> </p><p>

- Jim Hall, Age: 21, Style: Brawler, Size: Big Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Strong, Entertainment: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Average. Like Fortin, this is Hall´s second time with WotW.</p><p> </p><p>

- Corey Crash, Age: 22, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Average, Entertainment: Average, Face: Strong, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- Alan Nevada, Age: 21, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment: Average, Face: Average, Heel: Strong. Nevada and Crash where the other two guys who I could have signed who didn´t have jobs (alongside the two Batch´s) but I decided to pass them because their ring rust. I don´t really look to add any more talent right now but I keep an eye on how these two do as especially Crash might be interesting option with his strong in-ring and performance skill.</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW also signed two Japanese guys to p.p.a deal. First of them is Kosaku Shiga, Age: 19, Style: Puroresu Style, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance:Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment: Weak, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- The second new WotW signee is Tarozaemon Matsuya, Age: 20, Style: Regular Wrestler, Size: Heavyweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong. Both guys just debuted in April and this is their first job.</p><p> </p><p>

- NLE continues to hot shot their NLE Triple Crown belt around as this time Reidar Martin takes it from Gustavo Alves. Alves, like both guys before him, failed to make a single successful defense before dropping the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- WotW signed yet another Japanese rookie to p.p.a deal. This time the new guy is Washichi Koshin, Age: 20, Style: Entertainer, Size: Middleweight, In Ring and Performance: Strong, Physical: Strong, Entertainment: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- There´s also a new dojo opened this time in North Mexico. The dojo´s name is Total Wrestling and its emphasis Lucha Libre. Interesting to see how many graduates will come from it as so far only Titan Factory and Canadian Independent Circuit Wrestling have produced decent number of graduates. Sarumara Dojo has 0, The Dog Pound has 2 and Wolverine Wrestling have 3 graduates so far despite all of them being active since start of 1981.</p><p> </p><p>

- Foxy Faye started her second run as CSW Womens champion after defeating Scarlett Rose who managed 6 successful defenses before dropping the belt.</p><p> </p><p>

- Self becomes the new TPW United States champion after defeating former champion Battle Axe for the title. Battle Axe managed to get 13 successful defenses before dropping the belt.</p>

Comments: It´s start to be more and more clear that Mathias Carlsson is going to be another top guy alongside Esch. It´s also becoming clear that Manuel Rua certainly isn´t nearly as good as I hoped him to be. Still overall, guys like Esch and Carlsson help me a lot as they can turn good enough match rating to help even the losing guy to gain overness as long as he´s recent fortunes is good enough. That something I was badly missing in GCW so I´m happy to have two guys like that here. Also another good news was that Janssen and Iida had good tag chemistry together which gives me second face team to go alongside Urban Cowboys. It should also help both Iida and Jansen to be more relevant than what they would have been as singles guys.</p><p>

- NLE signs newly debuted Omar Egemann to p.p.a deal. Age: 20, Style:Technician, Size: Lightweight, In Ring and Performance: Average, Physical: Average, Entertainment: Average, Face: Weak, Heel: Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

- CSW gave a punch of contract extension but not to everyone as Big Ray Dubya is set to leave CSW. Dubya is a midcard guy for them so interesting to see who they plan to replace him with. Dubya had just 4 wins and 10 losses on his CSW career at the time of the announcement. </p><p> </p><p>

- Lot bigger shock came the next day when news item informed that CSW is going to let Douglas Bryson leave as well. Bryson had fallen to midcard status lately but he is one of the better in-ring guys and CSW´s first main title holder so little surprised AI decided to cut him already.</p><p> </p><p>

- Hollywood Herc becomes new CSW Championship holder after defeating former champ Micah Stark in C rated match that is company´s best match so far.</p><p> </p><p>

- Orchid and Foxy Faye continue to trade the TPW Women title with each other´s as Orchid starts her second reign with the belt by defeating Faye (who also has two reigns with the belt). Faye had 10 successful defenses before dropping the belt. Other than Orchid and Faye, only Flash has held the belt once during the first two and half years. Then again other than Scarlett Rose there isn’t anyone else currently in TPW´s women division so guess they don´t have all that many options.</p><p> </p><p>

- KENKA becomes the newest casualty in wrestling business as they closed down after never finding an owner.</p><p> </p><p>

- Big Brobatos ends Blood Redd´s OPW Demigod reign after 12 successful defenses. Despite losing the title Redd had a good run with it as he hold it since January 1981.</p>

<p>July 1982</p><p> </p><p>

- Kosaku Shiga and Jim Hall becomes new WotW Tag champions after defeating former champions Sadahige Smimedzu and Hisaki Obinata in D- rated match. Former champions managed to get 12 successful defenses before dropping the belts, but more importantly, AI managed to mess it up again as Jim Hall is in WotW with touring contract and thus the tag titles will likely be vacated after the end of this tour unless AI manages to move the titles before that. I guess AI just don´t check when contracts end when making decisions about next champs since we saw this already happen once with Shinsuke and WotW Heavyweight title.</p><p> </p><p>

Comments: Lots of heel vs. heel and face vs. face matches on this card mainly because I´m wanted to have some fresh challengers for GWE Championship and tag belts. Esch and Carlsson had bad chemistry as opponents which is unfortunate as they are the two best wrestlers in the roster.
