While i'm still editing the first posts, i'm already posting the prediction card for the first Raw is War. It should be up by Friday or Saturday. Up to WrestleMania, i'll keep the diary as close to reality as possible, using Sportales as a source for all the show cards. The first card will be identical to the real-life one, but the results may not be all the same. Tomorrow, i'm going to post a article. And i'm stealing the Fun Fan Signs from Beejus and angeldelayette, sorry to both :o

I don't mind seeing the fun fan signs popping up in other diaries. It's one of my legacies here. These will be based more-so on my favorites than on storylines going on now.

Ken Shamrock vs. Faarooq (w/Nation of Domination)

Comment: The World's Most Dangerous Man gets a higher pick than Mr. Damn in my mind.

NWA North American Championship Match

Jeff Jarrett (w/Jim Cornette) vs. Blackjack Windham (w/Blackjack Bradshaw)

Comment: J E Double F, J A Double R, E Double T picks up the victory. Slightly stand-offish when I met him, though.

Owen Hart vs. Savio Vega (w/Los Boricuas)

Comment: Behold the King, the King of Harts

Tom Brandi vs. Marc Mero (w/Sable)

Flash Funk vs. (The Artist Formerly Known As) Goldust (w/Luna Vachon)

Comment: I like both of them but Flash Funk's ECW experience trumps Goldustin.

The Headbangers vs. The New Age Outlaws

Ken Shamrock vs. Faarooq (w/Nation of Domination)

Comment: As with any diary - there's an element of pig-in-a-poke about the first few tips! Shamrock has more upside though for me.

Comment: King of Harts takes this one.

Tom Brandi vs. Marc Mero (w/Sable)

January 4th, 1998: The Attitude Era is On

January 4th, 1998.

November 9th, 1997.

That's the day which the professional wrestling fans are never going to forget.

Ring the damn bell.

These words defined a controversial moment that is never getting out of the history books. The WWF Chairman, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, uttered these words as Shawn Michaels had WWF World Heavyweight Champ Bret Hart locked up in the Sharpshooter. Several people were supposed to run-in for a no contest, but it was totally different. The four words made the bell ring at that moment, with Hart not tapping out. Michaels was apparently shocked as his apparently ''screwed'' foe was, bringing a question mark to this moment. We're getting there soon. With the Chairman's orders, The Boy Toy left to the back with his gold, and Hart was left in the ring. He spat in Vince's face, drew ''WCW'' with his hands in the air, and destroyed everything in his sight in frustration. Backstage, Bret and Vince continued the argument. One thing was clear: There was someone screwed that night, in the moment officialy known now as the Montreal Screwjob. And the Montreal Screwjob was a tragedy.

But the question is: WHO screwed who?

Nobody knows, and that's the bottom line. This is why this moment will stay in the heads of everyone for centuries. There are many guesses. The popular one is ''Vince screwed Bret''. But there are many possibilities. Who knows if Shawn Michaels came up with this plan for Vince, refusing to let his chance go like air? And even, who knows if even Bret himself knew about everything, and his signing with WCW is going to screw the latter? It can be anything.

But that is the past, and now is the present.

After the Screwjob, many fans said that the WWF was about to die. But this is not going to happen - not easily. With the Royal Rumble coming up, the WWF has huge plans for 1998 and beyond...the so-called Attitude Era has officially begun. This war is about to really start. The WWF is ready for it.

And there WILL be casualties.

So, i'm writing the show. But i saw something today that i need to talk about.

So, my diary hasn't even REALLY started yet, and someone rated it a 1 star. But what is a VERY HUGE coincidence is that in EVERY diary that i make someone rates it 1 star. What gives? :(

Dude I have a thread over in the dog pound where I plug shows that I book/promote along with some video stuff/pics of them and someone one starred me. I was livid! I put a lot of time, money and effort into it and was like "how dare this person belittle my dream!"

LOL'd at 'Funkdust'!!! and i really like it how you integrate the fan signs into segments and matches... next time, i'm gonna make sure mine is for someone who's actually on the show though... as Ramon wasn't ;) lol. I gave you a 5 star because your first show, was definitely NOT a 1 star... people need to wait a bit in my opinion...
