Not to hijack Matt's diary here, but has anyone tried writing their diary in Google Blogger? I find super simple to use and very customizable. It gives you all the html code to copy and paste right into the forums. It's not a perfect match, but I find it a pretty good tool for the job. If you're interested to see some of the results, check out my WWF 1994 blog.

(sorry for the cheap plug here Matt...just working my inner Mick Foley...) :D

<p>I haven't abandoned this dynasty, just took a break from it while getting into WWE 2K14 and doing more work on Risky Business. ^_^</p><p> </p><p>

Just ran January Week 4's Wrestling Challenge, then I'll be booking Prime Time Wrestling and running it. With the new format for TV shows(quick recaps for TV, more detailed for PPVs), I should have Challenge & Prime Time up by tomorrow night.</p><p> </p><p>

That said, anyone who hasn't made predictions for the Royal Rumble yet, feel free to post them.</p>

<p>Needless to say, I was a tad disappointed with how Prime Time turned out as I had higher rated angle segments on Challenge, and Prime Time lost popularity. Hopefully I can make it up at the Royal Rumble. I am, however, pleased with how Razor Ramon's debut came off, and his starting momentum is at 76. I figured his habits might hinder the segment, so that's why I combined his vignette with the Roundtable(something I believe I've noticed Final Countdown do before). Anyone who still hasn't made predictions, feel free to make them. I'll give everyone till this Friday at 10 PM Central Standard Time to get their predictions in. You can find the card in the link below:</p><p> </p><p>

<p>My official comeback post. Gotta say man, thoroughly enjoying this diary. Great time period, awesome roster and interesting road ahead creatively (heading into '92, '93 and beyond). Fabulous job with the Prime Time panel as well. Loving Slick accusing Monsoon of trying to 'Drive A Wedge' between Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart. lol anyway, hope it aint too late for these. Here goes....</p><p> </p><p>

WWF Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>The Ultimate Warrior</strong> vs. Sgt. Slaughter</p><p>

<em>Definitely the way it should have happened, even though the Warrior/Savage "Career Ending Match" from WM7 is my personal all-time favorite. Coulda been for the title though as well.</em></p><p> </p><p>

WWF Tag Team Championship</p><p>

<strong>The Hart Foundation</strong> vs. The Nasty Boys</p><p>

<em>DONT. YOU. DARE.</em> <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match</p><p>

<strong>"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase</strong> vs. Virgil</p><p>

<em>LOL, cmon now!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Rematch</p><p>

The Bushwhackers vs. <strong>The Orient Express</strong></p><p>

<em>Always dug The Express w/Fuji. The Bushwhackers fall in round two.</em></p><p> </p><p>

New Talent Initiative</p><p>

<strong>Owen Hart</strong> vs. Chris Jericho</p><p>

<em>If it were up to me, I personally feel Owen should rise quicker here... but naturally, this could go either way. Liking you putting this on the PPV, should be very good exposure for both guys.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Royal Rumble Stat Sheet (fill in the correct wrestler(s):</p><p> </p><p>

Most Eliminations: <em>The Undertaker.</em></p><p>

Longest Time in Match: <em>Rick "The Model" Martel.</em></p><p>

Mystery Entrant: <em>Vader!</em></p><p>

Final Four: <em>Hogan. Perfect. Piper. Savage. </em></p><p>

Runner-Up: <em>Mr. Perfect.</em></p><p>

Winner: <em>Hulk Hogan.</em> Setting up Hogan/Warrior II at 'Mania. (though I'll be secretly pulling for Mach, of course. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p>

According to the WWF Rules and Regulations, a team can be comprised of as many competitors as they can get, and any members of the team can defend or compete for the WWF World Tag Team Titles. That means if Demolition regains the WWF World Tag Team Titles under the direction of their new manager, Brother Love, then even if it's Ax and Smash that wins the titles, Crush could replace either Ax or Smash when defending the titles. The Nasties would eventually get control of the match, cutting the ring in half as they put the boots to Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. There were several instances where Neidhart was able to tag out to Bret "Hitman" Hart, but Bret would have to go back to his corner as the ref didn't see it due to being distracted by one of the Nasty Boys running in. After Neidhart and Jerry Sags knocked each other out with a double clothesline, they both crawled over to their respective corners. Sags tagged out to Brian Knobbs, but the Anvil was able to make the hot tag to the Hitman, who was cleaning house. Sags would re-enter the ring, but the Anvil would run in and tackle him down to the canvas. While the ref was busy separating Neidhart and Sags, Brian Knobbs managed to gouge Bret Hart in the eyes, then grabbed a hold of him while Jimmy Hart jumped onto the ring apron, taking off his Nasty Boys motorcycle helmet. Jimmy tried to nail Bret with the helmet, but the Hitman ducked and Jimmy hit Brian by accident. Bret punched Jimmy Hart down off the apron while Neidhart tossed Sags out of the ring and went back to his corner in time for the ref to see Bret covering Brian.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winners: The Hart Foundation when Bret Hart pinned Brian Knobbs at 14:29</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><em>The Hart Foundation retained the WWF World Tag Team Championship</em></strong></p><p><strong> Grade: B</strong></p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span>http://i.imgur.com/beODEB8.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/H4ASjok.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/ihE1gO1.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/fX4rbc6.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/YQ8KoM9.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/FteupDm.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/C00ThOJ.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/WfKDTq8.jpg</span></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> Gorilla Monsoon threw it to a series of promos recorded earlier today before the Royal Rumble kicked off, with the various participants talking about how they were going to win the Royal Rumble and compete in the main event of WrestleMania VII for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grade: A</strong></p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span>http://i.imgur.com/ln5zPxD.jpg</span></p></div><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">#1:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/6vAp3h7.jpg</span></p><p><strong> Shawn Michaels</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">#2:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/1yM6Z0V.jpg</span></p><p><strong> Marty Jannetty</strong></p><p> </p><p> The crowd was eating it up that the Rockers drew numbers one and two, with Shawn Michaels drawing #1, and Marty Jannetty drawing #2. Gorilla said that there was no way that Jimmy Hart was going to be happy about this watching on the monitor, but the Brain said "Well that little runt... I mean Jimmy Hart should know that it's every man for himself." Gorilla responded, saying "You just called him a runt!" To which Heenan replied, "I did not! The crowd came alive as Duggan had the big man rocking for the first time in the match, nailing him int he head with the 2x4, finally knocking him off his feet after hitting him with the board several times. Bobby Heenan shouted how that wasn't fair, and Gorilla reminded him that there are no disqualifications in a Royal Rumble match. Duggan backed up and charged toward Vader with a running clothesline, but the big man ducked down and dumped Duggan up and over the top rope and to the floor with an overhead back body drop. Vader then turned his attention to Martel, daring him to enter the ring, but Martel held his hands up, as if to say, "I've got no problems with you." Vader shook his head and turned his attention to Kerry Von Erich and Barbarian, grabbing them both by the head and knocking them together with a double noggin knocker. He ran toward them and knocked them both down with a double clothesline. Vader picked up Rick Martel and tossed him over the top rope, but he turned around, not seeing that Martel managed to hold onto the ropes and land on the apron. Kerry Von Erich was back to his feet, but Vader clotheslined him over the top rope and onto the floor. Vader then went to pick up Paul Roma, hoisting him up into a military press while Kerry was struggling back up to his feet outside the ring. He then went for a DDT, but Martel slid out under the bottom rope to try and get away from "The Snake," but Jake exited through the ropes(not over so that he wouldn't accidentally eliminate himself) and gave chase after Martel. Martel got back into the ring and immediately began stomping down on Jake as he slid back in. Martel went to pick Jake up, but Jake went to work again, peppering him with more right hands, knocking the Model down with an inverted atomic drop. Earthquake talked trash to them from inside the ring, then decided to go to work on Jake Roberts. He stomped down on "The Snake," then began jumping up and down around him, getting the tremors ready. He ran the ropes, jumped up and came crashing down onto Jake with the Earthquake Splash. He then picked Jake up and tossed him out with ease. Rick Martel and Mr. Perfect were back to their feet, and they, along with Earthquake, were circling the ring, waiting to see who would strike first. Hogan punched away at Earthquake, and knocked him down to one knee after bouncing off the ropes and hitting him with a running clothesline. Hogan cupped his ears, hearing the fans from all sides of the building, then ripped his shirt and immediately wrapped it around Earthquake's throat from behind, choking the big man with it. Hogan then played to the crowd, lifting his hands up as if he was ready to bodyslam the walking "Natural Disaster." He and Bobby Heenan pondered what could happen if the Rumble came down to Ax, Smash and Crush, reminding the folks what happened back in 1989 when Ax and Smash kicked off the Royal Rumble at numbers one and two, much like the Rockers this year. Smash went after Hogan, trying to help Earthquake eliminate him. Meanwhile, Perfect was trying to eliminate Boss Man, but no such luck. Martel had managed to get away from Animal after a rake to the eyes, then went to try and eliminate Boss Man. Hogan fought off Smash and Earthquake, but was still fighting with the Natural Disaster, so Smash went over to try and help Martel with Boss Man. They had him over the top rope, but he was holding on for dear life until Perfect ran in and helped them tip him over. Boss Man was red hot as the referees were forcing him to the back. Herc and Jerk, as Gorilla referred to Power & Glory, went to the back with Slick while the refs worked to calm Animal down. Hawk entered the ring and went to help Hulk Hogan with Randy Savage. Animal eventually went to the back with an army of security escorting him to make sure that Power & Glory didn't try to jump him in the back. Hogan, Perfect, Martel and Savage all tried eliminating the Undertaker, but to no avail as he kept knocking them all down. The final four came down to Mr. Perfect, the Undertaker, "Macho King" Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. Savage managed to talk Perfect and Taker into joining forces, all three men working to try and eliminate Hogan. But the Hulkster fought back. He knocked Savage down with a big boot, but Undertaker grabbed him from behind. Mr. Perfect went to run the ropes and attempted a dropkick, but Hogan ducked, causing Perfect to knock Taker down one knee with a dropkick. Taker was not happy and immediately went after Perfect while Hogan and Savage were back at it. Taker grabbed Perfect by the throat and tossed him up and over the top rope.</p><p> </p><p> The Undertaker then turned his attention back to Hulk Hogan, grabbing him by the head from behind. Taker hit Hogan with a headbutt to the back of his head several times, then turned him around and chokeslammed him down to the canvas. The Undertaker then went to run the ropes, jumped up in the air and went for an elbow drop, but Hogan rolled out of the way as Taker crashed down to the canvas. Taker and Hogan both got back to their feet, with Hogan nailing Taker with several right hands while Savage rested in the corner. Taker, however, fought back with a thrust to Hogan's throat, and Hogan was holding his throat, gasping for air. Taker had Hogan up against the ropes, so he went to run the ropes, came bouncing off the other side of the ring and attempted a big boot. But Hogan sidestepped out of the way, and the Undertaker's leg wound up over the top rope as he crotched himself. Hogan backed up and ran over, clotheslining Taker over the top rope and to the floor.</p><p> </p><p> The crowd was on their feet as it came down to Hulk Hogan and the Macho King. They circled the ring, looking to see who would make the first move when Sgt. Slaughter decided to come down the aisle. Two of the referees ran over to warn Slaughter to go back to the locker room area and get ready for his title match against the Ultimate Warrior, but Slaughter just being in the aisle was enough of a distraction to Hulk Hogan to cause him to climb up to the middle turnbuckle, yelling at Slaughter to come down to the ring. "Macho King" Randy Savage took advantage of the distraction as he ran up and nailed Hogan with a double axe handle to the back, knocking him up and over the top rope and to the floor while Slaughter went to the back.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner: "Macho King" Randy Savage, last eliminating Hulk Hogan at 64:50</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><em>Randy Savage earned a WWF World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania VII</em></strong></p><p><strong> Grade: A</strong></p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span>http://i.imgur.com/jrkWZOp.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/1cQTgs9.jpg</span></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> Gorilla Monsoon couldn't believe the "miscarriage of justice" we had just witnessed when Sgt. <p>Now time for the prediction stats. I'll have this particular round go until WrestleMania. After WrestleMania, whoever has the most points in the standings will get to pick who I can try to sign, given that the worker in question is available to be signed. </p><p> </p><p> Also, in future predictions, I'll add in Match of the Night. I forgot to do so for this show. And since Final Four could be hard to predict, I went with Final Countdown's method of scoring a point for each final participant someone got right. Lastly, major kudos to JudgeJuryExecutioner for being the only person to correctly predict the mystery entrant!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Prediction Scores out of a possible 14:<p> </p><p> Beejus: 11</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Rare Kuma: 10</p><p> JudgeJuryExecutioner: 10</p><p> flaviooooo: 10</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> DanMTheMan: 9</p><p> The Final Countdown: 9</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Ayden: 8</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> RingRider: 7</p><p> LordofGustav: 7</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> RatedRKO16: 6</p><p> EZE85: 6</p><p> Russelrules44: 6</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Smasher1311: 5</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Kijar: 3</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Overall Standings by points:<p> </p><p> Beejus: 11</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Rare Kuma: 10</p><p> JudgeJuryExecutioner: 10</p><p> flaviooooo: 10</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> DanMTheMan: 9</p><p> The Final Countdown: 9</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Ayden: 8</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> RingRider: 7</p><p> LordofGustav: 7</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> RatedRKO16: 6</p><p> EZE85: 6</p><p> Russelrules44: 6</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Smasher1311: 5</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Kijar: 3</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Warhawk8492" data-cite="Warhawk8492" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36794" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Dude that is awesome great booking and <strong>dairy entry</strong>, glad to see Randy Savage won the Rumble. And hey, I'm in first so far! Woo me! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

In that then i decided to call him "Shining" Shane Douglas.</p><p> </p><p> But anyway, i'm eager to see what will happen between Warrior and Savage for the WWF Championship!</p>

That reminds me, I'm sure there are some wondering why I put the title match on last instead of the Rumble. Well, I thought I was going to get bit with what I now call the Rumble Curse, which is where no matter the talent you have in a battle royal, it has a very high chance of getting dinged and graded down severely for things such as "the match was limited given the number of competitors involved." I forgot about Warrior's stamina(or lack thereof), which brought the match between Warrior and Slaughter below the Rumble. If I was God and knew that was going to happen, then I would have flipped those two matches. Obviously, I'm not God so what happened on the show is what you have.

And for some reason, Vader just kinda made sense. Love that you brought him in with the smoking metal head-gear as well. Always thought that was pretty badass.</p><p> </p><p> Anyhow, fantastic show! Really glad Savage won. And the whole 'Model/Perfect working together throughout' was brilliant old-school heel tactics. Also, ya totally caught me off guard with Rotundo. I was pretty damn sure the Demolition-Lawyer was gonna be Clarence Mason. Lmao.</p><p> </p><p> Cant wait to see where this goes heading forward.</p>
