The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Richie Steamboat versus Hunico

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Superstars will see the son of the legendary WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Superstar in action as he will take on the Hispanic Hunico in singles competition. The WWE Universe have primarily seen both Richie Steamboat and Hunico competing in tag team action over the past few months with Richie Steamboat teaming up regularly with the Japanese Superstar from the Orient known as Fatsuhiko Nakajima and Hunico teaming up with his long time companion, the much larger Camacho. The WWE Universe have dubbed the pairing of Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima as the “Oriental Dragons” since they began teaming together a few months ago and the team are regularly accompanied to the ring by their managers, WCW legend Norman Smiley as well as the Godfather. It is therefore likely that either the Godfather or Norman Smiley will accompany Steamboat, the Second Generation Superstar, to ringside for tonight’s WWE Superstars main event. Both Richie Steamboat as well as Hunico would love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships with their respective teams and an all-important victory for either man tonight on WWE Superstars in singles competition could well gain the attentions of either Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn them a future opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships. New WWE Tag Team Champions were crowned this past Sunday at Wrestlemania as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal defeated the former WWE Tag Team Champions, the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and William Regal, as well as the twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s, in a Triple Threat tag team match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time. Neither Richie Steamboat nor Hunico have held gold so far during their time competing in front of the WWE Universe. Richie Steamboat spent the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT, and competed in his last match on NXT last October when he teamed with the NXT Champion Seth Rollins to defeat the team of Big E Langston and Calvin Raines. Richie Steamboat must have impressed the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, during his time on NXT in order to receive a call up to the main WWE roster. Richie Steamboat made his debut on Monday Night RAW back in January when he lost a non-title match to then WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Tonight’s match between Richie Steamboat and Hunico is a rematch from the main event of WWE Superstars two weeks ago when Hunico defeated the less experienced Richie Steamboat. Hunico also holds three tag team victories over Richie Steamboat as the three weeks prior to his singles victory over Steamboat Hunico and his tag team partner Camacho were able to defeat Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima in tag team action for three consecutive weeks on WWE Superstars.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Primo and Epico

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will see tag team action as the high-flying pairing of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara will be in a match against the former WWE Tag Team Champions, the Puerto Rican pairing of Primo and Epico. Rey Mysterio has become somewhat of a mentor to Sin Cara over the past few months and the WWE Universe are regularly entertained by Mysterio and Sin Cara’s high-flying exploits. Both Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara as well as the team of Primo and Epico would also love to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the future and a victory for either team tonight could well earn a future opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships if they impress either Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T with a victory tonight. Primo and Epico, the cousins both being Second Generation Superstars with Primo being the son of the legendary Puerto Rican performer Carlos Colon, are regularly accompanied to the ring by the beautiful Latino Diva Rosa Mendes and it is likely that Rosa will therefore accompany Primo and Epico to the ring tonight on WWE Superstars. Primo and Epico are former WWE Tag Team Champions with the pair holding the WWE Tag Team Championships from January of last year to April of last year. Primo also formerly held the WWE Tag Team Championships two other times with his brother Carlito. Sin Cara, the Mexican sensation, is yet to hold Championship gold in the WWE however Rey Mysterio is a highly decorated Champion being a former WWE Champion, a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, a Royal Rumble winner, a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a four-time former WWE Tag Team Champion with four different tag team partners.

Emma versus Aksana

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the Dancing Australian Diva known as Emma in action against the Lithuanian Diva Aksana in an internationally themed match. Emma has had problems with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in the past few months which has led to the WWE Universe showing sympathy towards her. The WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn successfully retained her Divas Championship against Tamina this past Sunday at Wrestlemania. A victory for either Emma or Aksana tonight on WWE Superstars therefore could earn them the opportunity to be the next Diva to challenge for the Divas title, and we could learn who the next Number One Contender to the Divas Championship is from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T tomorrow night on SmackDown.

Quick Picks:

Richie Steamboat versus Hunico

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Primo and Epico

Emma versus Aksana

WWE Superstars (Live from Soldotna Sports Center (AK), 2,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Portia Perez

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Alicia Fox defeated Portia Perez in 18:07 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Layla accompanied her good friend Alicia Fox to ringside for this match and offered Alicia vocal support throughout the match which led to Alicia picking up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 18:18 when Yoshi Tatsu defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. Yoshi Tatsu could use something to freshen his character up, the WWE Universe seem a bit bored with him. Trent and Yoshi picked up the win here over the Ascension pairing of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron after Yoshi pinned Cameron after Trent had hit him with his trademark Gobstopper Knee.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Byron Saxton

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Byron Saxton in 17:48 by submission. Alexander Rusev was visibly tiring towards the end of this match.

Match Rating: F-

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Primo and Epico

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Primo & Epico defeated Mysterio & Cara in 8:22 when Primo defeated Sin Cara by pinfall with a Backstabber. The Puerto Rican cousins Primo and Epico showed excellent chemistry when teaming together tonight and that excellent chemistry ultimately led to them picking up the win after Primo pinned Sin Cara.

Match Rating: C

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past Monday’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Punk said that at Wrestlemania this past Sunday he did what he said he would do as he defeated John Cena, the 2013 Royal Rumble winner, in the main event to once again retain his WWE Championship. Punk said that despite him competing in a gruelling match last night, the bias against Punk would continue as Punk said he had been placed in RAW’s non-title main event against Kane by Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in what would be Kane’s first match on RAW in over six months as he has been primarily competing on Friday Night SmackDown as of late. Paul Heyman’s other client, Brock Lesnar, then made his way to the ring and said that he is now finished with Chris Jericho after he defeated him at Wrestlemania, and that he especially enjoyed attacking Jericho backstage after the match with Tensai and Jack Swagger as Vickie Guerrero and Paul Heyman looked on. Lesnar said that his new victim would be announced later in the night. Daniel Bryan came to the ring later in the evening only to be interrupted by AJ Lee. AJ told Bryan that because she has swing with Vickie Guerrero at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Daniel Bryan will challenge Punk for the WWE Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Bryan thanked AJ for the title match but said that he has no interest in being a couple with AJ again. John Cena came to the ring later in the evening and he too was interrupted by AJ Lee who said that because of Cena refusing to join AJ, AJ has spoken to Vickie Guerrero and that Cena will take on Brock Lesnar at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a Last Man Standing match. In the main event of the evening CM Punk successfully defeated Kane in the evening’s non-title Monday Night RAW main event.

Rating: B

Emma versus Aksana

In an extremely short match, Aksana defeated Emma in 3:30 by pinfall. Tamina accompanied her friend Aksana to ringside for this match and offered vocal support to Aksana throughout the match which may have led to Aksana picking up the win.

Match Rating: E

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs highlights from this past Sunday’s Wrestlemania, with the Undertaker speaking into the camera earlier in the evening and claiming that later in the night he would defeat Sheamus to continue his undefeated streak. The Undertaker did defeat Sheamus later in the evening to continue his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania and highlights are shown of that match, with the WWE Universe being pleased that the streak continued. Before Dolph Ziggler’s World Heavyweight Championship defence against Alberto Del Rio he had a confrontation with Kevin Nash backstage when Ziggler told Nash that he didn’t want to hear what he had to say, as Ziggler is now the new “Big Sexy” in WWE. Del Rio would later defeat Dolph Ziggler to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and after the match celebrated in the ring with his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez until Bret Hart came to the ring. Alberto Del Rio fled the ring and head to the back leaving Bret Hart to apply the Sharpshooter to Ricardo Rodriguez. A tweet is then shown from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s SmackDown main event as the new World Champion Alberto Del Rio taking on Ted DiBiase in a non-title match.

Rating: B

Richie Steamboat versus Hunico

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Hunico defeated Richie Steamboat in 7:53 by submission with an El Incognito Especial. Norman Smiley accompanied Richie Steamboat to the ring.

Match Rating: C-

Post-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Erick Rowan

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Erick Rowan in 12:57 by submission with a Crossface. Unfortunately the WWE Universe in attendance were completely turned off by this match as they know next to nothing about either competitor.

Match Rating: F

Post-Show: Quenki Horiguchi versus Leo Kruger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Quenki Horiguchi defeated Leo Kruger in 13:11 by pinfall with a Beach Break. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Ted DiBiase

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T earlier this week and will see the new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio take on the “Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase in a non-title match. This past Sunday at Wrestlemania Alberto Del Rio became the new World Heavyweight Champion for the second time when he defeated the former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, much to the disappointment of the WWE Universe in attendance who were firmly behind the “Show Off” Dolph Ziggler following Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez subjecting Dolph Ziggler to numerous attacks on Friday Night SmackDown in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania. Following his victory, Alberto Del Rio celebrated on the “Grandest Stage of them all” along with his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez until the WWE Universe came to their feet when the music of Bret Hart hit the arena and the “Hitman”, the WWE Hall of Famer, made his way to the ring. Alberto Del Rio would then quickly flee the ring and head to the back with his newly won World Heavyweight Championship, leaving his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez to suffer the Sharpshooter from the former WWE Champion Bret Hart in the middle of the ring. It is unclear as of whether Ricardo Rodriguez will accompany Alberto Del Rio to ringside for tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown main event and we may learn tonight whether or not Ricardo Rodriguez is still loyal to Del Rio after Alberto Del Rio proverbially fed Rodriguez to the wolves at Wrestlemania and failed to help him after Bret Hart applied the torturous Sharpshooter. Bret Hart will probably not be present on Friday Night SmackDown tonight but the former World Champion Dolph Ziggler will be. We do know that Dolph Ziggler is contractually obligated to receive a rematch with Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship and we may find out tonight on SmackDown just when that match will take place. Del Rio’s opponent in tonight’s non-title main event, Ted DiBiase, was also in action this Sunday at Wrestlemania as he once again failed to defeat Curtis Axel and become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Wrestlemania was the second Pay-Per-View in a row that Ted DiBiase, the Second Generation Superstar and son of the WWE Hall of Famer the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, failed to win the Intercontinental Championship after Curtis Axel also defeated DiBiase at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View in February. However, an all-important victory for Ted DiBiase over the World Champion tonight on SmackDown, albeit in non-title action, could not only get him another shot at the Intercontinental Championship but also potentially earn him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship somewhere down the line. Ted DiBiase is a former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion, holding the titles on two occasions with his former tag team partner Cody Rhodes, and should therefore not be taken lightly tonight by Alberto Del Rio.

Team Rhodes Scholars versus Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu

At Wrestlemania this past Sunday the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow lost the WWE Tag Team Championships in their first title defence as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal defeated Team Rhodes Scholars as well as the twin brothers pairing of Jimmy and Jey Uso to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time when they won the Triple Threat tag team match. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Team Rhodes Scholars will look to bounce back as they will take on the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus Jey Uso

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel will also be in action as he will take on Jey Uso in a non-title match. This past Sunday at Wrestlemania Curtis Axel defeated Ted DiBiase to once again retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship but his opponent tonight, Jey Uso, was less successful at Wrestlemania as he and his brother Jimmy failed to win the WWE Tag Team Championships as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal defeated the Uso’s as well as the former WWE Tag Team Champions Team Rhodes Scholars in a Triple Threat tag team match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

The Big Show versus Mark Henry

The Big Show was unsuccessful this past Sunday at Wrestlemania as he lost to Randy Orton in the opening match of the evening. The Big Show then shocked the WWE Universe after the match when Wade Barrett came to the ring and looked as though he was going to hit Orton with the Bullhammer Elbow only to be knocked out by the Big Show. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the Big Show will face another huge Superstar in Mark Henry.

R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the unpredictable and charismatic R-Truth will take on one third of 3MB, Drew McIntyre. The other 3MB members Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal will likely be close by watching their fellow band mate in this one.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

Finally, the WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn will be in non-title action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as she will face Eve. At Wrestlemania Kaitlyn defeated Tamina to successfully retain the Divas Championship, only to be attacked after the match by Paige and AJ Lee as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero looked on.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Ted DiBiase

Team Rhodes Scholars versus Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus Jey Uso

The Big Show versus Mark Henry

R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Von Braun Center (AL), 12,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Layla versus Rosa Mendes

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Layla defeated Rosa Mendes in 18:28 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Rosa Mendes could use something to freshen her character up.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Prime Time Players

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Prime Time Players defeated Mysterio & Cara in 17:35 when Titus O'Neil defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. Abraham Washington accompanied the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil to ringside and offered vocal support throughout the match which led to the Prime Time Players picking up the all-important victory after Titus O’Neil pinned Rey Mysterio.

Match Rating: C

Pre-Show: Christian versus Abraham Washington

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Christian defeated Abraham Washington in 18:12 by pinfall with a Spear. Layla accompanied Christian to ringside following her victory earlier in the evening and the relationship between Christian and Layla seems to be growing stronger by the day.

Match Rating: B-

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio making his way to the ring along with his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio receives a tirade of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Del Rio proudly proclaims that this past Sunday at Wrestlemania he was able to defeat Dolph Ziggler to once again become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio then apologises to Ricardo Rodriguez who Del Rio left to fend for himself following his title victory and Rodriguez was forced to be left in the ring with Bret Hart and suffer the Sharpshooter from the “Hitman”. Ricardo Rodriguez tells Del Rio that all is forgotten, and the most important thing is that Del Rio is where he belongs, on top of the WWE as the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio says that Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T has put him in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown non-title main event against Ted DiBiase. Del Rio says he will defeat Ted DiBiase tonight just as everybody has since DiBiase made his return to WWE a few months ago. Dolph Ziggler then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own and announces that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month he will receive his contractually obligated rematch clause and will challenge Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage match. Del Rio seems angry at this announcement as SmackDown heads to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Eve in 7:22 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker announce that Tamina will once again challenge Kaitlyn for the Divas title at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: C-

Following her victory the Divas Champion Kaitlyn is joined in the ring by Layla and the pair celebrate in front of the WWE Universe until Tamina comes to the entrance-way. Tamina announces that when she challenges Kaitlyn for the Divas Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View she will do so in a Submission match. Paige and Olive Melissa then rush to the ring and attack Kaitlyn and Layla.

Rating: D

Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Team Rhodes Scholars

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Trent & Yoshi in 7:05 when Damien Sandow defeated Trent Barreta by submission. Yoshi Tatsu kept leaving the apron to hug female members of the WWE Universe during this match and came across as a bit of a whore. This allowed Sandow to make Barreta tap out to win the match for his team.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find Jimmy Uso talking to Alicia Fox. Alicia tells Jimmy that she has good news and has heard that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the Uso’s, both Jimmy and Jey, will join the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in challenging Roman Reigns and William Regal for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat tag team match.

Rating: C-

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus Jey Uso

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Curtis Axel defeated Jey Uso in 8:30 by pinfall with a McGillicutter. Alicia Fox accompanied Jey Uso to ringside.

Match Rating: B-

Following his victory Curtis Axel celebrates in the ring until Ted DiBiase comes to the entrance-way with a microphone and announces that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he will challenge for the Intercontinental Championship once again, this time in a Dog Collar match.

Rating: D+

The Big Show versus Mark Henry

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Big Show defeated Mark Henry in 7:59 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. Abraham Washington accompanied Mark Henry to the ring.

Match Rating: C+

The Miz comes to the ring for an edition of his talk show Miz TV, and introduces his guest, the man who failed to defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Sheamus. However, Sheamus does not turn up and the Miz is forced to end the show.

Rating: B

R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre

In a match that had some good action and average heat, R-Truth defeated Drew McIntyre in 7:37 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Scissors Kick. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team use this match to discuss Sheamus failing to turn up to Miz TV.

Match Rating: C

(Billy Kidman would seriously consider either turning Drew McIntyre or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes to the ring to introduce the participants for tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown non-title main event of Alberto Del Rio taking on Ted DiBiase.

Rating: B

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Ted DiBiase

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Alberto Del Rio defeated Ted DiBiase in 12:52 by pinfall with a Step Up Enzuigiri. Ricardo Rodriguez accompanied Del Rio to the ring.

Match Rating: C+

Post-Show: Kofi Kingston versus JTG

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kofi Kingston defeated JTG in 13:20 by pinfall with an S.O.S. This was a decent victory for Kofi Kingston after he failed to have a match at Wrestlemania.

Match Rating: C-

Post-Show: Tyson Kidd versus Wade Barrett

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Wade Barrett defeated Tyson Kidd in 12:49 by pinfall with The Wasteland. Barrett did well here after getting knocked out by the Big Show at Wrestlemania.

Match Rating: C-

Final Show Rating: B-

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Team Hell No

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see tag team action as the WWE Champion CM Punk will team up with the “Beast” Brock Lesnar to take on the Team Hell No pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan. Tonight will be the very first time that the WWE Universe will have seen Kane and Daniel Bryan team up on Monday Night RAW in over six months as they have been primarily competing on Friday Night SmackDown as of late before they both made their returns to Monday Night RAW last week. Both CM Punk and Brock Lesnar are clients of Paul Heyman and they both began last week’s edition of RAW bragging in the ring following their victories at Wrestlemania as CM Punk defeated John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania to once again successfully retain his WWE Championship and Brock Lesnar was also victorious at Wrestlemania against Chris Jericho. CM Punk continued to complain of bias against him by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero last week as he was placed in last week’s non-title main event against the “Big Red Monster” Kane just twenty-four hours after his gruelling Wrestlemania match with John Cena that almost lasted for thirty minutes. However, Punk was able to defeat Kane in last week’s non-title main event. Daniel Bryan came to the ring last week on Monday Night RAW and claimed that he was pleased to be back on RAW before he was interrupted by his former fiancé AJ Lee. AJ told Daniel Bryan that she now has a business relationship with Vickie Guerrero and told Bryan that thanks to AJ he will be challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Daniel Bryan thanked AJ for the title shot but told AJ that he still didn’t want anything to do with her romantically, and left AJ very embarrassed in the ring. AJ Lee would take her frustrations out later in the evening on John Cena who she would interrupt in the ring and gleefully announce to Cena that he will be taking on the “Beast” Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month. CM Punk is the longest reigning WWE Champion of the past twenty-five years having began his third reign as WWE Champion back in November of 2011 at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View when he defeated the former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio. CM Punk is also on the longest undefeated streak of his career having gone thirty-one matches without defeat, winning every single one of them. Punk’s incredible winning streak has lasted over seven months thus far going all the way back to September of last year. Tonight will be the first time that Punk has been in the ring with Daniel Bryan in over six months and the sixth time that he has teamed with Brock Lesnar, as Punk and Lesnar have previously been victorious in tag team matches in five different RAW main events, the most recent one coming last month when Punk and Lesnar defeated the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. However, Punk and Lesnar will not have an easy time of it tonight against the former WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal vs. Batista & Mason Ryan

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal will be in action as they will take on the team of Batista and Mason Ryan in a non-title match. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month Reigns and Regal will put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line for the very first time in a Triple Threat tag team match against the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the Uso’s.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Santino Marella

At the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month Dean Ambrose will put the WWE United States Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match once again against both Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Before then, however, Ambrose must face Santino Marella in non-title action tonight on Monday Night RAW.

Randy Orton versus Luke Harper

Last week on Monday Night RAW Randy Orton made his way to the ring only to be attacked by Bray Wyatt, who was making his Monday Night RAW television debut. Wyatt hit Orton with his “Sister Abigail” finishing manoeuvre. Tonight on RAW Orton looks to bounce back as he takes on Luke Harper.

Chris Jericho versus Jack Swagger

Chris Jericho will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger. The WWE Universe in attendance are sure to be behind Chris Jericho in this one after Swagger, along with Tensai and Brock Lesnar, attacked Chris Jericho backstage at Wrestlemania as Paul Heyman and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero looked on.

Naomi versus Sexy Star

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the highly athletic Naomi in action against Sexy Star. Naomi is one of the Divas who has had problems with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in recent weeks which has led to the WWE Universe sympathising with Naomi.

Quick Picks:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Team Hell No

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal vs. Batista & Mason Ryan

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Santino Marella

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Von Braun Center (AL), 12,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Emma versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Emma defeated Raquel Diaz in 18:16 by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Kings of Wrestling

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kings of Wrestling defeated Brodus & Riley in 18:29 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Brodus Clay by pinfall with a K.R.S. O.N.E. Kassius Ohno could use something to freshen his character up with the WWE Universe in attendance a little bored of Ohno. Regardless, Cesaro and Ohno picked up the all-important victory here after Cesaro pinned Brodus Clay after the Kings of Wrestling pairing of Cesaro and Ohno hit Brodus Clay with their double team finishing manoeuvre.

Match Rating: B-

Pre-Show: Ryback versus Tensai

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ryback defeated Tensai in 17:35 by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. Ryback was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to pick up the win against Tensai.

Match Rating: B-

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area and says that because of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and her close bond she now has with AJ Lee, at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month CM Punk must put the WWE Championship on the line in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Daniel Bryan. Punk then says that on top of having to face Daniel Bryan at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, he also has to team with Brock Lesnar in tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event to take on the former WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Hell No. Punk says that he beat one half of Team Hell No, Kane, in last week’s non-title main event, will beat both of them tonight on RAW and at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View will beat the other half, Daniel Bryan, to once again retain his WWE Championship. Another of Paul Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, then comes to the ring and shakes hands with CM Punk. Lesnar says that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month he will defeat John Cena in a Last Man Standing match continuing Cena’s losing streak after Cena lost to Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania. Punk and Lesnar then leave the ring together and head to the back as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus Bo Dallas

The main event of tonight’s edition of NXT will see the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action as he will take on the Second Generation Superstar Bo Dallas in singles competition in a non-title match. The NXT Universe inside what is likely to be an almost sold-out NXT Arena tonight on NXT will most probably be fully behind Bo Dallas in this one after they have seemingly turned their backs on the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in recent weeks. This is a rematch from last week’s edition of WWE NXT when Seth Rollins defeated Bo Dallas to successfully retain the NXT Championship. If the follower of “Dark Grunge” Seth Rollins is able to defeat Bo Dallas once again tonight in non-title action then it is most likely that Bo Dallas will not receive another shot at the NXT Championship in the near distant future but if the young lion Bo Dallas, the son of Mike “IRS” Rotunda, is able to defeat Seth Rollins tonight in non-title action then he may well earn another opportunity to challenge for the NXT Championship in the future from the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. Dusty Rhodes will also have one of the best seats in the house for this one as the sole commentator on NXT following former NXT announcers William Regal and Byron Saxton moving to compete in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE Roster earlier this year. Two weeks ago Seth Rollins, the reigning and first ever NXT Champion, was confronted backstage by Julius Smokes. The gangster Julius Smokes told Seth Rollins that even though their lifestyles are different; if Rollins joins Julius Smokes then he can take him to the promised land of the WWE and will soon be competing on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. Julius Smokes told Seth Rollins that after just a few months with Bray Wyatt, Julius Smokes led Wyatt to the WWE although Bray Wyatt has since abandoned Julius Smokes and is already in a match with Randy Orton at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month, Julius Smokes told Rollins that he has contacts in the WWE, including upper management such as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Rollins told Julius Smokes that he would think very carefully about the offer from Julius Smokes, but that he had to focus on his tag team match, which was next. Seth Rollins then left his partner Xavier Woods in the tag team match against Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson which allowed Bateman and Watson to defeat Xavier Woods to pick up the all-important victory. Last week on NXT Seth Rollins got back to winning ways as he defeated Bo Dallas to once again successfully retain his NXT Championship. Tonight’s main event will be the third time that Bo Dallas and Seth Rollins have met in singles competition after Rollins defeated Bo Dallas last week to retain the NXT Championship and Rollins also defeated Bo Dallas in a non-title match last month on NXT. Furthermore, Seth Rollins also holds a tag team victory over Bo Dallas as in February the team of Seth Rollins and Luke Harper defeated the team of Bo Dallas and PAC. Therefore if Dallas is able to defeat Seth Rollins tonight on NXT then it will be his first ever victory over Seth Rollins.

El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson versus Kenny King and Xavier Woods

Also tonight on NXT we will see tag team action of El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson will take on the pairing of Kenny King and Xavier Woods. Last week on NXT the NXT Universe inside an almost sold out NXT Arena witnessed the debuts of both El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Kenny King as they faced one another in singles competition, with Kenny King picking up the win. Tonight on NXT King and El Hijo de Rey Misterio will face off again, this time in tag team action. All four of these competitors will be looking to impress tonight with Percy Watson and Xavier Woods likely to want to impress just as much as their respective tag team partners as they will not want the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes to forget about them after the emergence of new faces last week on NXT. El Hijo de Rey Misterio is the cousin of the former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio and would love to follow in his cousin’s footsteps and one day compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. WWE management such as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T regularly watch NXT looking for the neat breakout star and will be paying close attention to this tag team match.

Kelly Kelly versus Maxine

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see the former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly in action as she takes on the Diva many consider to be a bitch, Maxine. Last week on NXT Kelly made her debut in front of the NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena in a losing effort against Christina Von Eerie. NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes noted last week on commentary that Kelly had come to compete on NXT following several months of disagreements with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Maxine would love to use Kelly tonight as a stepping stone towards a position of her own on the main WWE roster and the chance to compete in front of the WWE Universe.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus Bo Dallas

El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson versus Kenny King and Xavier Woods

WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,468 in Attendance)

NXT kicks off with the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcoming the television audience to another edition of NXT. Dusty Rhodes sits at the broadcast position as the sole announcer on NXT after the former NXT commentary team of William Regal and Byron Saxton have both been called up to compete in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster. Once Dusty Rhodes has made his introductions to the television audience, the NXT Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Rollins, the follower of “dark grunge” is dressed entirely in black and receives a mixed reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the almost sold out NXT Arena. Once in the ring Seth Rollins retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that when he first became the NXT Champion last summer by virtue of winning the Gold Rush tournament, defeating 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the tournament finals to become the first ever NXT Champion, he thought that NXT was his home and he would always be adored by the NXT Universe. Seth Rollins goes on to say that he has said many times over the past eight or so months since he has been the NXT Champion that he wants to remain on NXT for as long as he can and create a long lasting legacy as the first ever NXT Champion, despite knowing that his destiny is competing in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. However, Rollins goes on to say that in the past month or so he feels that the NXT Universe has turned their backs on him as has the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes. Seth Rollins reminds the NXT Universe that two weeks ago as Rollins was heading to the ring for his tag team match, which was once again not the main event of the show as Rhodes felt that the “flippy Brit” PAC should main event that week, he was confronted by Julius Smokes backstage. Seth Rollins tells of how Smokes, although being a gangster and culturally different from the dark grunge lifestyle that Rollins likes to live, promised to take him to the promised land of the WWE and claimed that he has contacts with upper management in WWE such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Rollins says that he is still thinking about the offer made by Julius Smokes as he saw how after only a few weeks of working with Julius Smokes, Bray Wyatt left NXT and is now competing with the likes of Randy Orton on the main WWE roster. Rollins says that tonight he is focused on his non-title main event match against Bo Dallas. The NXT Universe in attendance then come to their feet as one as Justin Gabriel makes his way to the ring. Justin Gabriel takes a microphone and says that he is here on NXT for one thing, and that is the NXT Championship. The high-flyer Justin Gabriel says that he is a former WWE Tag Team Champion and now has his eyes set on the NXT Championship. Rollins tells Justin Gabriel that he’ll have to get to the back of the queue, as there are already many people who want a shot at the NXT Championship, like his opponent tonight Bo Dallas or the “flippy Brit” PAC. Justin Gabriel replies that he is well aware of the talent on NXT but wants Rollins to know that he has his eyes on him. Rollins then looks disgusted and heads to the back as NXT heads to a commercial break.

Rating: C

Kelly Kelly versus Maxine

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Kelly Kelly defeated Maxine in 7:35 by pinfall with a K2. WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes introduced the television audience to this match following a commercial break and the NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena were firmly behind Kelly Kelly, the former WWE Divas Champion, in this Divas match. Kelly has plenty of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe and that proved vital as she picked up the all-important win tonight.

Match Rating: C-

El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson versus Kenny King and Xavier Woods

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kenny King and Xavier Woods defeated El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson in 8:29 when Xavier Woods defeated El Hijo de Rey Misterio by pinfall with a Funky Clothesline. Following another commercial break the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes the television audience back to the show and El Hijo de Rey Misterio and Percy Watson then make their ways to the ring to a decent reaction from the NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena for this tag team match against Xavier Woods and Kenny King. El Hijo de Rey Misterio is the cousin of the former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio but despite his impressive lineage was unable to pick up the win for his team here as Xavier Woods pinned El Hijo de Rey Misterio to get the win for his team.

Match Rating: D+

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus Bo Dallas

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Bo Dallas defeated Seth Rollins in 8:16 by pinfall with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Following the final commercial break of the evening the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes us back to the show for tonight’s non-title main event which sees the NXT Champion Seth Rollins go one on one with Bo Dallas. The NXT Universe in attendance tonight inside the almost sold out NXT Arena are fully behind Bo Dallas in this one and Bo Dallas is impressive throughout the match, showing the desire he has to not only one day become the NXT Champion but also follow in his father’s footsteps and one day compete in front of the WWE Universe. Bo Dallas picks up the non-title win here.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/WWE_Superstars_logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Richie Steamboat versus Hunico

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see singles action as the Second Generation Superstar Richie Steamboat will take on the Hispanic Superstar Hunico. Richie Steamboat is the son of the legendary WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and has been largely teaming up with his tag team partner Fatsuhiko Nakajima, the Japanese Superstar from the Orient, in recent months. The WWE Universe have dubbed the team of Steamboat and Nakajima as the “Oriental Dragons” and the pair are often accompanied to the ring by their managers, WCW legend Norman Smiley as well as the ladies man known as the Godfather. Hunico is also primarily a tag team competitor usually teaming with his good friend, the much larger Camacho. Richie Steamboat made his WWE television debut back in January in a losing effort against then WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match on an episode of Monday Night RAW. Cesaro has of course since lost the United States Championship to the current US Champion, Dean Ambrose. Richie Steamboat spent the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT, and competed in his last match on NXT last October when he teamed up with the NXT Champion Seth Rollins to defeat the team of Big E Langston and Calvin Raines. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, must have seen something in Richie Steamboat to earn him a call up to the main WWE roster. As aforementioned, both Richie Steamboat and Hunico are primarily tag team competitors and would no doubt love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the near distant future. An all-important victory for either Hunico or Richie Steamboat in singles action in the main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars, however, could well earn them a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships if they do enough to impress WWE management watching such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. We learnt last week on Friday Night SmackDown that the new WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal, who won the WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania, will make the first defence of their WWE Tag Team Championships later this month in a Triple Threat match against the former WWE Tag Team Champions, the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, as well as the twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s. Tonight’s WWE Superstars main event between Hunico and Richie Steamboat is a rematch from last week’s Superstars main event when Hunico was able to defeat Richie Steamboat. Hunico also defeated Steamboat in the main event of WWE Superstars three weeks ago and also holds three tag team victories over Richie Steamboat on Superstars as the team of Hunico and Camacho defeated Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhijo Nakajima for three weeks in a row just over a month ago.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Prime Time Players

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will see tag team action as the team of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara will take on the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil. Rey Mysterio has taken Sin Cara, the Mexican Sensation, under his wing in recent months and the WWE Universe are regularly entertained by the high-flying exploits of the pair. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil are managed by Abraham Washington and it is therefore highly likely that the leader of “AW Promotions”, Abraham Washington, will accompany the Prime Time Players to ringside for tonight’s match. Both Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara as well as the Prime Time Players would also love a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships in the near distant future and know that a victory tonight on WWE Superstars could well earn the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn them a future Championship opportunity. Sin Cara is yet to hold Championship gold in the WWE but his partner tonight, Rey Mysterio, is a decorated Champion. Rey Mysterio won the Royal Rumble match back in 2006 and went on to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time at Wrestlemania 22 later that year. Rey Mysterio would then win the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in the summer of 2010. Rey Mysterio has also held the WWE Championship on one occasion and is a former four-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and also held the Cruiserweight Championship eight times before it was retired back in 2007.

Alicia Fox versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox in action as she will take on Paige in singles competition. At Wrestlemania a few weeks ago we saw Paige as well as AJ Lee attack Kaitlyn, the WWE Divas Champion, following her successful Championship defence against Tamina. It appeared that Paige and AJ Lee attacked Kaitlyn at Wrestlemania on the direction of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as Vickie looked on from the entrance-way with glee as the attack took place. We learnt last week on Friday Night SmackDown that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month Kaitlyn will put the Divas Championship on the line against Tamina again, this time in a Submission match. A victory for either Alicia or Paige tonight on WWE Superstars could not only impress the WWE Universe but also impress Vickie Guerrero or Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and lead to them getting a future shot at the Divas Championship.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Slater & McIntyre defeated Trent & Yoshi in 18:28 when Heath Slater defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Drew McIntyre came to the ring with a stethoscope around his neck for this match and appeared to attempt to examine his opponents throughout the match, as if he believes that he is a doctor.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Inaomichi Marufuji versus Big E Langston

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Big E Langston defeated Inaomichi Marufuji in 17:49 by submission. Unfortunately this match was far too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not knowing too much about either Superstar.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Prime Time Players

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Prime Time Players defeated Mysterio & Cara in 7:49 when Titus O'Neil defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. Abraham Washington accompanied his clients, the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, to ringside during this match and offered vocal support throughout the match which led to Titus O’Neil picking up the all-important victory for his team after he pinned Rey Mysterio.

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk retrieved a microphone and claimed that due to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and her relationship with AJ Lee, Punk is forced to put his WWE Championship on the line at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month against Daniel Bryan in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Punk said that he will defeat Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules and announced that in RAW’s tag team main event he would team up with Brock Lesnar, another of Paul Heyman’s clients along with CM Punk, to take on the Team Hell No pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan. Brock Lesnar would then join CM Punk in the ring and claim that he will destroy John Cena in their Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules. Later in the evening John Cena would come to the ring and proclaim that despite Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and AJ Lee stacking the deck against him at Extreme Rules, he will still defeat Brock Lesnar. AJ Lee then came to the ring and told Cena that he will be destroyed by Lesnar at Extreme Rules. Before Monday Night RAW’s tag team main event we saw Daniel Bryan backstage walking to the ring until he was stopped in his tracks by AJ Lee. AJ told Bryan that she would enjoy watching him get destroyed in RAW’s tag team main event, but Bryan claimed that he would not get destroyed as he has Kane as his tag team partner. Lesnar and Punk would then defeat Team Hell No in RAW’s tag team main event.

Following the commercial break WWE Superstars airs highlights from last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Del Rio was of course joined by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio said that he and Rodriguez are still on fine terms despite Del Rio leaving Rodriguez at Wrestlemania to suffer the Sharpshooter at the hands of WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart. Dolph Ziggler would then come to the entrance-way and announce that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month he would be receiving his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage match. Later on in the evening the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel was in action in a non-title match against Jey Uso. Curtis Axel was victorious over Jey Uso but after the match the “Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase came to the entrance-way and informed Curtis Axel that even though Axel defeated DiBiase at Wrestlemania to retain the Intercontinental Championship, Ted DiBiase will be receiving one more shot against Axel for the Intercontinental Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a Dog Collar match. In the main event of Friday Night SmackDown Alberto Del Rio defeated Ted DiBiase in a non-title match. A tweet is then shown from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s Friday Night SmackDown tag team main event of Alberto Del Rio teaming with Curtis Axel to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler and Ted DiBiase.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

World Champ Alberto Del Rio & IC Champ Curtis Axel vs. Ziggler & Ted DiBiase

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week by a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio team up with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler and Ted DiBiase. At Wrestlemania a few weeks ago Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and last week on Friday Night SmackDown he came to the ring to show off his newly won World Heavyweight Championship to the WWE Universe in attendance. Last week on SmackDown Alberto Del Rio was once again joined by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez and Del Rio said that their relationship was still fine despite Del Rio fleeing from Bret “The Hitman” Hart at Wrestlemania following his title win and not coming to the aid of Ricardo Rodriguez, who suffered a Sharpshooter at the hands of the WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. Dolph Ziggler would then come to the ring last week on SmackDown and announce that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month he will receive his contractually obligated rematch against Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship inside a Steel Cage, meaning that Ricardo Rodriguez will be unable to get involved. We also learnt last week on SmackDown that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Ted DiBiase will receive one more shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship as the “Fortunate Son”, the son of WWE Hall of Famer the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase Sr., will once again take on Curtis Axel with the Intercontinental Championship up for grabs, this time in a Dog Collar match. This will be the last shot that Ted DiBiase will have of winning the Intercontinental Championship from Curtis Axel for some time after he failed to win the title in his two previous matches with Curtis Axel, at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View back in February and at Wrestlemania. In the Dog Collar match both Curtis Axel and Ted DiBiase will be tied together by a Dog Collar which they can legally use as a weapon. Ted DiBiase is yet to hold his first singles Championship in the WWE although he is a former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion having held the titles with his former partner Cody Rhodes on two occasions back in 2008. An all-important victory for Ted DiBiase in tag team action over his opponent at Extreme Rules, Curtis Axel, tonight, would be great momentum for him heading into his title shot. Curtis Axel debuted his new persona back in February and on the very same night became the new WWE Intercontinental Champion for the very first time as he defeated former Champion Wade Barrett as well as R-Truth in a Triple Threat match. Before February Curtis Axel had been floundering, largely competing in tag team matches on Monday Night RAW with his partner JTG. Curtis Axel is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion having held the titles with David Otunga on one occasion back in 2011.

The Uso’s versus Team Rhodes Scholars

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown we will see tag team action as the twin brothers pairing of Jimmy and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s, will team up to take on the former WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, otherwise known as Team Rhodes Scholars. We learnt last week on SmackDown that at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month both the Uso’s as well as Team Rhodes Scholars will challenge the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal in a Triple Threat tag team match. Reigns and Regal picked up an impressive tag team non-title victory this past week on Monday Night RAW against the team of Batista and Mason Ryan.

Christian versus Sheamus

At Wrestlemania last month Sheamus failed in his attempts to defeat the Undertaker and end the Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak as the Undertaker was victorious and the streak lived on, much to the delight of the majority of the WWE Universe in attendance at Wrestlemania and watching all over the world on Pay-Per-View. Last week on SmackDown the Miz invited Sheamus to come on his talk show, Miz TV, however Sheamus failed to appear. Tonight on SmackDown Sheamus will be back in action for the first time since Wrestlemania as he will take on a fellow former World Champion in Christian.

R-Truth versus David Otunga

The unpredictable and charismatic R-Truth will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on the only Harvard Law School graduate in the WWE, David Otunga. The WWE Universe in attendance are likely to be fully behind R-Truth in this one and a victory for either Superstar could well earn them a future Championship opportunity from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T.

The Big Show versus Jinder Mahal

At Wrestlemania the Big Show was defeated by Randy Orton in the opening match of the night but it was the events after the match that most shocked the WWE Universe when he knocked out Wade Barrett to stop Barrett from attacking Orton. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the Big Show will be in action against 3MB member Jinder Mahal.

WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn and Layla versus Tamina and Rosa Mendes

Finally, Divas tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Kaitlyn, the reigning WWE Divas Champion, in action as she will team with Layla to take on the team of Tamina and Rosa Mendes. At the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View later this month Tamina will once again challenge Kaitlyn for the Divas title, this time in a Submission match.

Once in the ring Ziggler retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that in just over one week he will win back the World Heavyweight Championship when he defeats Alberto Del Rio in their Steel Cage match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Ziggler thanks the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T for allowing his contractually obligated rematch with Del Rio to be held inside a Steel Cage as it stops Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez from interfering in the match. Ziggler says that in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown tag team main event he will show just how much better he is than Del Rio when he teams with Ted DiBiase to take on the World Champion Alberto Del Rio and his partner, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. Alberto Del Rio then comes to the entrance-way flanked by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez and motions towards the ring. Rodriguez then enters the ring and jumps on Ziggler who quickly throws him to the mat. Del Rio then calls for back up and the Intercontinental Champion joins in on the assault. http://cdn2.khloekcdn.celebuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/WWE-Monday-Night-Raw-580x326.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will witness tag team action as the team of the self-proclaimed “Best in the World” CM Punk and his tag team partner, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar, will team up to take on the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Both the WWE Champion CM Punk as well as Brock Lesnar are clients of Paul Heyman and have teamed together on several occasions in the past and are undefeated as a team. In recent weeks the WWE Champion CM Punk has been coming to the ring and proclaiming to the WWE Universe that the only reason that he has to defend his WWE Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Daniel Bryan is because of the relationship that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has with the former Monday Night RAW General Manager AJ Lee, with AJ Lee giving Daniel Bryan the title shot in the hopes that they could rekindle their relationship that ended last year. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View CM Punk will look to defend his WWE Championship successfully once again as he continues what is currently the longest reigning WWE Championship reign of the past twenty-five years as CM Punk has held the WWE Championship since the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View back in November of 2011 when he defeated the former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio to begin his third reign as WWE Champion. CM Punk’s partner in tonight’s tag team main event, Brock Lesnar, will also be in action this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View as he will take on John Cena in a Last Man Standing match. Back in January John Cena outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match but failed to win the WWE Championship from CM Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania last month and has seemingly been put into the Last Man Standing match with Brock Lesnar at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View as punishment for ending his relationship with AJ Lee and refusing to form a “power couple” with her, just as Daniel Bryan did recently. CM Punk and Brock Lesnar are heavy favourites to be victorious in tonight’s tag team main event against the team of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Both Santino and Ryder will also be in action this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View as they will once again challenge Dean Ambrose for the WWE United States Championship in a Triple Threat match. At Wrestlemania Santino and Ryder also challenged Dean Ambrose for the US Championship in a Triple Threat match but failed to pick up the win as Ambrose retained his title. As well as taking on the WWE Champion CM Punk tonight, “Team CoBro” will also be facing in Brock Lesnar a former three-time WWE Champion, the 2002 King of the Ring winner and the 2003 Royal Rumble winner. Tonight will be the third time that this tag team match has taken place in the main event of RAW after Punk and Lesnar defeated Team CoBro back in November of last year and then defeated them again on an episode of RAW last month.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal vs. Batista & Mason Ryan

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the WWE Tag Team Champions will be in non-title action as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal, the WWE Tag Team Champions, will face the team of Batista and Mason Ryan. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Reigns and Regal will put their titles on the line for the first time in a Triple Threat tag team match against the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the twin brother pairing Jimmy and Jey Uso, the Uso’s.

Team Hell No versus Kings of Wrestling

This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Daniel Bryan will challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match and we learnt last week on Monday Night RAW that Daniel Bryan’s Team Hell No tag team partner, Kane, will also be in action this Sunday as he will take on Antonio Cesaro in a Ring of Fire match. Before their respective matches this Sunday, however, Team Hell No will take on the team of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno, the self-proclaimed Kings of Wrestling, tonight on RAW.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Chris Jericho

The WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Chris Jericho in a non-title match. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Dean Ambrose will put the United States Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Santino Marella and Zack Ryder.

Evan Bourne versus Tensai

The high-flying Evan Bourne will look to continue his return from injury tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the intimidating Tensai in singles competition. An all-important victory for Evan Bourne tonight on RAW may not only impress the WWE Universe but also potentially catch the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Naomi versus Raquel Diaz

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz, in action as she will take on the highly athletic Naomi in singles competition. The WWE Universe in attendance should likely be fully behind Naomi in this one. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Kaitlyn will put her Divas title on the line against Tamina in a Submission match.

Quick Picks:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal vs. Batista & Mason Ryan

Team Hell No versus Kings of Wrestling

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Chris Jericho

Evan Bourne versus Tensai

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Verizon Wireless Arena (NH), 11,770 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Audrey Marie versus Sexy Star

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Audrey Marie defeated Sexy Star in 17:51 by submission. Audrey Marie was visibly tiring towards the end of this match in what was her debut match in front of the WWE Universe.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Ryback versus Jack Swagger

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ryback defeated Jack Swagger in 18:13 by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. Ryback was visibly tiring towards the end of this match against the former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger, who is clearly in a superior physical condition to the “Wrecking Ball” Ryback. However, despite his lack of physical conditioning, Ryback was still able to pick up the all-important victory here after hitting Swagger with his “Shellshock” finishing manoeuvre.

Match Rating: C+

Pre-Show: Alex Riley versus Chavo Guerrero

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Alex Riley defeated Chavo Guerrero in 17:48 by pinfall with a Spiked DDT. Alex Riley seemed off his game tonight but was still able to get the win over the veteran Chavo Guerrero here.

Match Rating: C-

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring CM Punk is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he will defeat Daniel Bryan in their Falls Count Anywhere match to once again successfully retain the WWE Championship. CM Punk says that nobody thought he could defeat John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania after Cena outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match, but Punk did. CM Punk says that Daniel Bryan is only even getting a title shot this Sunday because of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and her relationship with AJ Lee, with AJ hoping that if she gave Daniel Bryan a title shot it would rekindle the love that the pair once had. CM Punk says that he does not believe in love, he only believes in his WWE Championship. Brock Lesnar, another client of Paul Heyman along with CM Punk, then joins Punk in the ring and Lesnar declares that this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match and that in tonight’s tag team main event Punk and Lesnar will team up to defeat the team of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Punk and Lesnar then leave the ring together and head to the back as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Naomi versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Naomi defeated Raquel Diaz in 5:43 by pinfall. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler note that Raquel Diaz is the daughter of Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Match Rating: E-

Following her victory, Naomi celebrates in front of the WWE Universe and is soon joined by Emma and the pair celebrate together. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero then comes to the entrance-way flanked by Beth Phoenix and Natalya and it appears that Beth and Natalya are going to attack Emma and Naomi until Audrey Marie rushes to the ring to make the save. Beth and Natalya then retreat back to Vickie on the entrance-way where they are joined by Kharma who has a stare-down with Emma, Naomi and Audrey Marie in the ring.

Rating: D

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal vs. Batista & Mason Ryan

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Reigns & Regal defeated Batista & Ryan in 7:52 when Roman Reigns defeated Mason Ryan by submission. William Regal was really off his game tonight but the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns, was on form and he made Mason Ryan tap out to pick up the win for his team.

Match Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find Daniel Bryan preparing for his tag team match, which is up next, when AJ Lee walks into the room. AJ tells Bryan that it’s not too late for him to join her as the WWE’s power couple. Bryan says that his only team mate is Kane and leaves the room.

Rating: C

Team Hell No versus Kings of Wrestling

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Team Hell No defeated Kings Of Wrestling in 7:45 when Daniel Bryan defeated Antonio Cesaro by submission with Repeated Elbow Strikes to The Head. Kane seemed off his game tonight but the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship Daniel Bryan was on fire and forced Cesaro to tap out.

Match Rating: C

John Cena comes to the ring and says that he knows the only reason he will be facing Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match this Sunday is because he refuses to drink the cool aid of AJ Lee and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. AJ then comes to the ring and tells Cena that she looks forward to watching him get destroyed this Sunday.

Rating: C

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Chris Jericho

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho in 7:31 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. Ambrose and Jericho just don’t click at all as opponents and it showed in their performances here.

Match Rating: C

Bray Wyatt comes to the ring and says that this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he will defeat Randy Orton in their First Blood match. Orton then comes to the ring and hits Wyatt with an RKO.

Rating: B

Evan Bourne versus Tensai

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Tensai defeated Evan Bourne in 6:38 by pinfall with a Reverse Piledriver. There were times when there was a definite lack of psychology on display and the match had a tendency to drift a little.

Match Rating: C

The WWE Universe comes to their feet as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin makes his way to the ring but before he can say anything he is interrupted by Brock Lesnar who hits Austin with the F5.

Rating: A

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar defeated Team CoBro in 8:08 when CM Punk defeated Zack Ryder by submission with an Anaconda Vice. http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Adrian Neville

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE NXT will see the NXT Championship on the line as the first ever and reigning NXT Champion Seth Rollins will put his title on the line against the high-flyer PAC, who from this point onwards wishes to compete under his real name, Adrian Neville. The NXT Universe in attendance inside what is likely to be an almost sold out NXT Arena tonight will surely be fully behind “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville in this one as they have seemingly turned their back on Seth Rollins in recent weeks as Rollins has shown a more aggressive and arrogant side whilst competing. Seth Rollins became the first ever NXT Champion last summer by winning the Gold Rush tournament to declare the first ever NXT Champion, and defeated 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the tournament finals to become the first ever NXT Champion. After winning the Championship Seth Rollins was handed the Championship belt by the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, who has had lots of faith in Seth Rollins during the title reign of Rollins that has now lasted over eight months. Seth Rollins has so far made ten successful defences of his NXT Championship. In his first title defence last September Seth Rollins defeated Michael McGillicutty, who now goes under the name of Curtis Axel and is the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. In the second title defence of his NXT Championship last October Seth Rollins defeated one half of the current WWE Tag Team Champions William Regal, Briley Pierce and Percy Watson in a Fatal Four-Way match. Seth Rollins defeated the huge and imposing figure of Conor O’Brian in his third title defence and made his fourth title defence last November when he defeated the big Bulgarian Alexander Rusev. Last December Seth Rollins made the fifth defence of his NXT Championship when he defeated William Regal and Xavier Woods in a Triple Threat match and the next week defeated the third generation competitor Jake Carter, the son of Vader, to make his sixth successful title defence. The final title defence of the NXT Championship in 2012 came last December when Seth Rollins defeated DT Porter, Alexander Rusev and Bray Wyatt in a Fatal Four-Way match to make his seventh successful title defence. In his first title defence of 2013 Seth Rollins was able to compete against and defeat Bray Wyatt to retain the NXT Championship for the eighth time. This was very impressive considering that Bray Wyatt is now appearing in front of the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW and this Sunday will compete against the former multiple-time WWE Champion Randy Orton in a First Blood match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. In February Seth Rollins defeated Xavier Woods, DT Porter and Luke Harper in a Fatal Four-Way match to make his ninth successful title defence and just two weeks ago on NXT Seth Rollins defeated Bo Dallas to retain the title for the tenth time. If Seth Rollins is able to defeat Adrian Neville tonight then it will be his eleventh successful title defence. For months Seth Rollins claimed that although he knew his destiny was to compete in the WWE on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown he wanted to stay on NXT and create a legacy as the greatest NXT Champion of all time before joining the main roster. However it appears that recently Seth Rollins has been having second thoughts after he was confronted backstage by Julius Smokes a few weeks ago who told Rollins that he has connections with both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and that if Rollins joins Julius Smokes the pair will be fast tracked onto the main WWE roster.

Bo Dallas and Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins and Drake Younger

Also tonight on NXT we will witness tag team action as the team of Bo Dallas and Percy Watson will take on the team of Curt Hawkins and Drake Younger. The NXT Universe in attendance inside the NXT Arena tonight are likely to be fully behind the team of Bo Dallas and Percy Watson during this one and all four competitors will want to do all they can to impress the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.

Justin Gabriel versus Xavier Woods

The high-flying former WWE Tag Team Champion Justin Gabriel will get the opportunity to entertain the NXT Universe inside what is sure to be an almost sold out NXT Arena tonight when he will take on Xavier Woods.

Rain versus Hailey Hatred

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see two Divas make their NXT debuts as Rain will take on Hailey Hatred. The NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena won’t know too much about either of these Divas but one of them can make an impact with an all-important victory tonight.

Quick Picks:

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Adrian Neville

Bo Dallas and Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins and Drake Younger

Justin Gabriel versus Xavier Woods

Rain versus Hailey Hatred

http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,374 in Attendance)

This week’s edition of WWE NXT kicks off with the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcoming us to the show. Dusty Rhodes is of course the sole announcer of NXT after the former commentators William Regal and Byron Saxton rejoined the main WWE roster earlier this year. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes informs the live television audience that tonight’s main event will see NXT Champion Seth Rollins put the NXT Championship on the line against the high-flyer, the “Man that Gravity Forgot, PAC, who from this point forwards wishes to be known by his real name, Adrian Neville. The NXT Universe inside an almost sold out NXT Arena then come to their feet as one as the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring. Kelly takes a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that several weeks ago she chose to come to NXT because of the abuse that she was suffering on Monday Night RAW at the hands of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Kelly says that she hopes that one day soon Vickie’s tirade of power plays and abuse will be over and Kelly will be able to return to RAW to compete in front of the WWE Universe. Kelly says that she admits she is a little disappointed that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T hasn’t reached out to her and offered to give her the opportunity to perform on Friday Night SmackDown, but Kelly says that she is grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves to do, compete in the ring, here on NXT. Kelly says that she is revitalised recently and now sees herself as some what of a Knock Out Artist, a Knockout specialist “if you will”, to quote the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes. Kelly says that she is going to knock as many wannabe Divas out as she can during her time on NXT and then go on to return to the main WWE roster and once again challenge for the Divas Championship. Kelly says that even though she has been competing exclusively on NXT for the past few weeks, she will be keeping a close eye on the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this Sunday when Tamina will challenge Kaitlyn for the WWE Divas Championship in a Submission match. Before Kelly can say anything else, however, she is interrupted by Maxine. The arrogant Maxine struts to the ring before taking a microphone of her own. Maxine says that all of the other Divas think that she is a bitch, and that is just fine with her because Maxine says, if truth be told, she is a bitch, and she loves being a bitch. Maxine tells Kelly that she may have beaten her last week on NXT but that Kelly simply got lucky. Maxine says that nothing is going to stop her from getting to the WWE and she has shown in the past that even if you’re male or female, Maxine will use you, chew you up and spit you out on her way to greatness. Kelly replies that she was very pleased to pick up the victory over Maxine last week, especially since she lost her debut match on NXT two weeks ago to Christina Von Eerie. Kelly and Maxine then go nose to nose and it looks as though a cat fight is going to break out until Justin Gabriel makes his way to the ring. Justin Gabriel takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that last week on NXT he told the NXT Champion Seth Rollins that he was coming for his NXT Championship and Gabriel says that he wants to break up this little Divas argument to promise that he will come after the winner of tonight’s NXT Championship main event. Justin Gabriel also says that he will prove how good he is when he defeats Xavier Woods later tonight. Kelly and Maxine then leave the ring and Gabriel plays to the NXT Universe as NXT heads to a commercial break.

Rating: C

Rain versus Hailey Hatred

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Hailey Hatred defeated Rain in 7:51 by submission with a Texas Cloverleaf. Following a commercial break the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes us back to NXT and we see the entrances of two Divas who tonight are making their NXT debuts inside the NXT Arena in front of the NXT Universe. The pair compete in a competitive affair until Hailey Hatred forces Rain to submit.

Match Rating: E+

Bo Dallas and Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins and Drake Younger

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Bo Dallas and Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins and Drake Younger ended in a no contest in 7:48 after the referee lost control of the match. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes notes on commentary that Drake Younger is making his NXT debut tonight. The NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena witness a very aggressive tag team encounter here that eventually ends in a no contest as Bo Dallas and Curt Hawkins brawl outside the ring and Percy Watson and Drake Younger brawl on the entrance-way and both teams are counted out.

Match Rating: D

Justin Gabriel versus Xavier Woods

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Justin Gabriel defeated Xavier Woods in 8:13 by pinfall with a 450 Splash. WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes notes on commentary that Gabriel is after the NXT Championship.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Superstars will see the high-flyer Rey Mysterio in action as he will take on the Englishman from Manchester, England, Wade Barrett in singles competition. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight are likely to be fully behind Rey Mysterio in this one as he takes a break from tag team action tonight to compete in singles competition. For the past few months Rey Mysterio has been teaming with the high-flying Mexican Sensation Sin Cara and Mysterio seems to have taken Sin Cara under his wing. Despite this being a singles match tonight on WWE Superstars, an all-important victory for Rey Mysterio tonight could well gain the attentions of either the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn Mysterio and Sin Cara a future opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The current and reigning WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal were scheduled to put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line for the very first time this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a Triple Threat tag team match against the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the twin brothers pairing of Jimmy and Jey Uso, known as the Uso’s collectively. However, it was reported earlier this week on WWE.com that William Regal suffered a Hernia during Reigns and Regal’s tag team non-title victory over Batista and Mason Ryan this past Monday on Monday Night RAW and will be out of action for the next few months. What this means for the WWE Tag Team Championships is unclear and we should hopefully learn more tonight on WWE Superstars. The other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns, has been involved in a twitter war this week with Chris Jericho with Jericho challenging Roman Reigns to a Casket match this Sunday at Extreme Rules so we may learn tonight on Superstars whether or not the powers that be will make that match official. Going back to this evening’s WWE Superstars main event match, Rey Mysterio and Wade Barrett met in singles competition earlier this year on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown with then WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett defeating Rey Mysterio in non-title action back on an episode of SmackDown, the first SmackDown of 2013, in January. Both Mysterio as well as Wade Barrett were also involved in the Royal Rumble match back in January which was of course ultimately won by John Cena. Rey Mysterio has won almost all there is to win during his time in the WWE being a former Royal Rumble match winner himself having won the match back in 2006 after entering as the second entrant, setting a record for the longest time lasted in the Royal Rumble match at over an hour. Mysterio would then go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time at Wrestlemania 22. Mysterio would enjoy a second reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the summer of 2010 and in July of 2011 Rey Mysterio became the new WWE Champion for the very first time only to then lose the tile to John Cena on the very same evening. Mysterio was also a former eight-time Cruiserweight Champion before that title was declared retired and has held the WWE Intercontinental Championship on two previous occasions. Finally, Rey Mysterio is a former four-time WWE Tag Team Champion having held the titles with four different partners, two of them being WWE Hall of Famers in Edge and the late, great Eddie Guerrero. The other two former Tag Team Championship partners of Mysterio were Rob Van Dam and Batista.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley take on the Hispanic pairing of Hunico and Camacho. Since teaming up together last year, Brodus Clay and Alex Riley have been fairly successful and have gained the support and popularity from the WWE Universe. Both of these teams would also no doubt love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future and a victory for either team tonight could well gain the attentions of either the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn themselves a future Championship opportunity. As aforementioned, the current status of the WWE Tag Team Championships are unclear after one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, William Regal, suffered an injury this past week on Monday Night RAW when Regal and Roman Reigns, the WWE Tag Team Champions, defeated the team of Mason Ryan and Batista in non-title tag team action. Tonight will be the very first time that Clay and Riley will ever have faced Hunico and Camacho in tag team action. Neither of these four Superstars have held gold so far in their WWE careers but would all love for that to change in the near distant future and a victory for either team tonight on WWE Superstars could jump start momentum needed in order to hold Championship gold.

Alicia Fox versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox in action as she will take on the Diva from Norwich, England, Paige. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the reigning WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn will put her Divas Championship on the line against Tamina in a Submission match. Paige made an immediate impact when she came to the WWE last year when she was revealed to be the Diva that had attacked Kaitlyn backstage last summer.

Quick Picks:

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

Alicia Fox versus Paige

WWE Superstars (Live from Solomon Court (MA), 2,500 in Attendance (Sold Out))

Pre-Show: Emma versus Portia Perez

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Emma defeated Portia Perez in 17:43 by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance knowing very little about either Diva despite Emma competing for the majority of last year in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT and also making several appearances on Monday Night RAW over the past few months. Nevertheless, it is the Dancing Australian Diva Emma that picks up the all-important victory in this one.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Team Rhodes Scholars

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated The Oriental Dragons in 18:05 when Cody Rhodes defeated Richie Steamboat by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. The Godfather accompanied the Oriental Dragons pairing of Steamboat and Nakajima to ringside for this one and offered vocal support throughout the match but ultimately it was the Team Rhodes Scholars who picked up the win here after Cody Rhodes pinned Richie Steamboat.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Braden Walker versus Big E Langston

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Hunico & Camacho in 7:55 when Brodus Clay defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Big Splash. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker use this match to discuss the WWE Tag Team Championships situation after William Regal suffered an injury on Monday Night RAW.

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a tirade of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk declared that Daniel Bryan is only getting a title shot against Punk in a Falls Count Anywhere match this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View because of his former relationship with AJ Lee, who is now close personal friends with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. However Punk said that he will beat Bryan this Sunday just as he beat John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania after Cena outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match. Brock Lesnar, another client of Paul Heyman along with CM Punk, then joined Punk in the ring and proclaimed that he will destroy John Cena in their Last Man Standing match this Sunday. Lesnar also said that he and Punk would defeat Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in RAW’s tag team main event. Later in the evening the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal defeated Batista and Mason Ryan in non-title action but William Regal suffered a hernia in that match and will be out of action for a few months. A tweet is shown from Vickie Guerrero announcing that Roman Reigns will face Chris Jericho in a Casket match this Sunday and the future of the WWE Tag Team Championships will be further addressed by Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T tomorrow night. AJ Lee had a backstage confrontation with Daniel Bryan on RAW when Bryan once again rejected her and chose to stay loyal to only his tag team partner Kane. John Cena would later come to the ring and say that the only reason he is facing Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match this Sunday is because he won’t join Team Vickie and AJ. AJ then told Cena she hopes he gets destroyed this Sunday. Before the main event “Stone Cold” Steve Austin came to the ring only to be hit with an F5 by Brock Lesnar and in the evening’s main event Punk and Lesnar defeated Santino and Ryder.

Alicia Fox versus Paige

In an extremely short match, Alicia Fox defeated Paige in 3:05 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Layla accompanied her good friend Alicia Fox to ringside for this match.

Match Rating: D-

Following a commercial break highlights are shown from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to a decent ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance. Ziggler said that he would defeat Alberto Del Rio at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in their Steel Cage match to win back the World Heavyweight Championship, and he thanked Booker T, the General Manager, for making the match a Steel Cage match so that Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez cannot interfere. Del Rio then came to the ring with Ricardo Rodriguez and the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel and looked on with a smile as Axel and Rodriguez attacked Dolph Ziggler. Backstage Ted DiBiase wished Kaitlyn luck in her Divas title defence against Tamina in a Submission match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View and she wished DiBiase luck in his Intercontinental title Dog Collar match with Curtis Axel. In the main event Del Rio and Axel defeated Ziggler and DiBiase. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s non-title main event of Del Rio taking on Jey Uso.

Rating: C+

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Wade Barrett defeated Rey Mysterio in 7:51 by pinfall with The Wasteland. This was a decent victory for Barrett in the main event of Superstars.

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Leo Kruger

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Leo Kruger in 12:42 by submission. The Godfather accompanied Rusev to ringside.
