The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Jey Uso

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T earlier this week and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio take on Jey Uso in non-title action. This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Dolph Ziggler will challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage match in what will be Ziggler’s contractually obligated rematch after Alberto Del Rio defeated the former World Champion Dolph Ziggler at Wrestlemania last month to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown began with Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance and proclaiming that he will defeat Del Rio at Extreme Rules to become the new World Heavyweight Champion once again and Ziggler also thanked General Manager Booker T for making their title match at Extreme Rules a Steel Cage match as it prevents Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez from interfering in the match. Alberto Del Rio then came to the entrance-way and watched on with glee as his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez as well as the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel attacked Ziggler. In last week’s Friday Night SmackDown tag team main event the team of Alberto Del Rio and the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel defeated Dolph Ziggler and Ted DiBiase. Del Rio’s opponent tonight on SmackDown, Jey Uso, was originally scheduled to join his brother Jimmy Uso in challenging Roman Reigns and William Regal for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat tag team match this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a match also involving the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. However, William Regal suffered a Hernia on this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW and will be out of action for a couple of months at least. It is believed that Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has left it up to Booker T to decide the future of the WWE Tag Team Championships and we should learn more tonight on Friday Night SmackDown. The Uso’s will be hoping that they will still be involved in the hunt for the WWE Tag Team Championships and an all-important non-title victory for Jey Uso over the World Heavyweight Champion tonight on SmackDown could well put the Uso’s to the top of the tag team division in terms of deciding new Number One Contenders when Regal is able to compete again. The Uso’s are yet to hold Championship gold in the WWE but in less than four years in the WWE Del Rio is already enjoying his second reign as World Heavyweight Champion having won the title for the first time last December defeating the former Champion Sheamus in a Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Chains match at the TLC Pay-Per-View last year and losing it back to Sheamus at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View back in January. Del Rio is also a former two-time WWE Champion and won the biggest Royal Rumble match in history, with forty participants, in 2011 and in the same year won the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust versus Hunico and Camacho

Cody Rhodes shocked the WWE Universe earlier today when he tweeted that his tag team with Damien Sandow, Team Rhodes Scholars, was finished and as of tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will be teaming with his brother, the returning Goldust. It appears that Goldust has indeed been rehired by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, a former tag team partner of Goldust. Tonight on SmackDown the Rhodes Dynasty will team up for the very first time to take on the Hispanic pairing of Hunico and Camacho.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

More tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the high-flying pairing of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in action against two thirds of 3MB, Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Mysterio and Sin Cara regularly entertain the WWE Universe with their high-flying offence and with the future of the WWE Tag Team Championships uncertain after the injury to William Regal sustained this past week on Monday Night RAW, both of these teams will be doing all they can to impress Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T as well as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus R-Truth

This Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Curtis Axel will once again put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line, this time against the “Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase in a Dog Collar match, where both Champion and Challenger will be tied together by a Dog Collar. Before his title defence this Sunday, however, Curtis Axel will be in non-title action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown against R-Truth. The WWE Universe in attendance are likely to be fully behind R-Truth in this one and a victory for R-Truth could well gain the attentions of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn him a future Championship opportunity.

Jimmy Uso versus Damien Sandow

With the return of Goldust it would appear that the Team Rhodes Scholars partnership of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow is now over. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Sandow returns to singles competition against Jimmy Uso.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the Divas Champion Kaitlyn in a non-title match against Eve. This Sunday Kaitlyn will put the Divas title on the line in a Submission match against Tamina.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Jey Uso

Cody Rhodes and Goldust versus Hunico and Camacho

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus R-Truth

Jimmy Uso versus Damien Sandow

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Neal Blaisdell Arena (HI), 7,154 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Layla versus Rosa Mendes

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Layla defeated Rosa Mendes in 18:09 by pinfall with a Lay-Out. Layla and Rosa Mendes have great chemistry as opponents and it showed in their respective performances here tonight. The WWE Universe enjoyed this Divas match that saw the former Divas Champion Layla pick up the all-important victory after hitting Rosa Mendes with her Lay-Out finishing manoeuvre. Rosa Mendes also works as the valet of Primo and Epico, but the Puerto Rican tag team did not accompany her to the ring for this match.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Primo and Epico

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Primo & Epico defeated Trent & Yoshi in 17:32 when Primo defeated Yoshi Tatsu by pinfall with a Backstabber. The cousins Primo and Epico showed excellent chemistry teaming together tonight and dominated the majority of the match against Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu. Eventually Primo won the match for his team after hitting Yoshi Tatsu with the Backstabber.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: The Big Show versus Sheamus

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, The Big Show defeated Sheamus in 18:28 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. The Big Show was visibly tiring towards the end of this match.

Match Rating: B

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio making his way to the ring, to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Alberto Del Rio is, as always, accompanied by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Alberto Del Rio takes a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T is trying to make his life difficult and that is why he is being forced to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the former World Champion Dolph Ziggler this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a Steel Cage match. Del Rio says that he understands that Dolph Ziggler has a rematch clause in his contract which is why he will be receiving a rematch for the World Championship that he lost at Wrestlemania to Del Rio, but that to force them to compete in a Steel Cage match is wrong. Del Rio says that cages are for animals like Ziggler, but Del Rio is a man of fortune and should not have to enter such inhumane conditions. Del Rio says that despite having to compete in a steel cage this Sunday, he will still defeat Ziggler once again and retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Del Rio also says that he will defeat Jey Uso in tonight’s non-title main event. Dolph Ziggler then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own and says that he won’t enter the ring as Del Rio and Rodriguez will attack him like they did last week. Ziggler simply says that this Sunday he wins back the World Heavyweight Championship. Ziggler then heads to the back as SmackDown cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Eve in 7:27 by pinfall with a Wedgie Flatliner. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that this Sunday Kaitlyn will put her title on the line against Tamina in a Submission match.

Match Rating: C

Following her victory the Divas Champion Kaitlyn is joined in the ring by Layla and the pair celebrate together. Tamina then comes to the entrance-way and says that this Sunday she will become the new Divas Champion. Paige and Aksana then rush to the ring and attack Kaitlyn and Layla.

Rating: D+

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Slater & McIntyre defeated Mysterio & Cara in 8:18 when Heath Slater defeated Sin Cara by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Both of these teams would love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future. The WWE Tag Team Championships situation is unclear after William Regal suffered an injury on RAW.

Match Rating: C+

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and says that he would like to introduce the WWE Universe to his brother, a fun babyface, Goldust. The unique Goldust then joins Cody in the ring. Goldust says that they are challenging any team to a match this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View and will also be teaming up for the first time next on SmackDown. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, the Prime Time Players, then come to the ring and accept the challenge to a match this Sunday.

Rating: D+

The Rhodes Legacy versus Hunico and Camacho

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Rhodes Legacy defeated Hunico & Camacho in 8:21 when Cody Rhodes defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that it is great to have Goldust back in the WWE and the WWE Universe seem to enjoy having him back also.

Match Rating: D

Ted DiBiase comes to the entrance-way and says that this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he will defeat Curtis Axel to become the new Intercontinental Champion by winning their Dog Collar match. DiBiase then comes to the ringside area to watch Axel’s match, which is next.

Rating: C

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel versus R-Truth

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Curtis Axel defeated R-Truth in 8:12 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. R-Truth was really off his game tonight which allowed Axel to pick up the win.

Match Rating: C+

Backstage Jey Uso is talking to Alicia Fox. Jey tells Alicia that he should be going to the ring to support his brother Jimmy who is in action next, but Alicia says that Jey needs to focus on tonight’s main event against Alberto Del Rio.

Rating: C-

Jimmy Uso versus Damien Sandow

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Jimmy Uso defeated Damien Sandow in 8:12 by pinfall. Alicia Fox accompanied Jimmy Uso to the ring.

Match Rating: D+

Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes to the ring and announces that the Rhodes Legacy’s match with Prime Time Players this Sunday will be a Tornado tag team match and the winners will become the Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships once William Regal is able to compete again.

Rating: B

Non-Title: Alberto Del Rio versus Jey Uso

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Alberto Del Rio defeated Jey Uso in 16:59 by pinfall with a Shining Enziguri. Ricardo Rodriguez accompanied Del Rio to the ring.

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Miz defeated Kofi Kingston in 13:09 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. This was a decent match between two former Intercontinental Champions.

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: Falls Count Anywhere: CM Punk © versus Daniel Bryan

The main event of tonight’s Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View will see CM Punk, the self proclaimed “Best in the World”, put his WWE Championship on the line in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Daniel Bryan. Following a successful spell as the WWE Tag Team Champions with Kane as part of Team Hell No, primarily competing on Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan made his first appearance on Monday Night RAW the night after Wrestlemania and was immediately interrupted by AJ Lee, his former fiancée. AJ told Daniel Bryan that together they could be the power couple of the WWE due to her relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, and AJ told Bryan that thanks to her he will be receiving a shot at the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan thanked AJ for the title shot, but told her he did not want to be with her and instead wanted to focus on his friendship with Kane and becoming the new WWE Champion, much to the delight of the WWE Universe. Tonight Bryan looks to end the reign of CM Punk who is the longest reigning WWE Champion of the past twenty-five years and and is also currently on a thirty-three match winning streak that has spanned over seven months.

World Heavyweight Championship: Steel Cage: Alberto Del Rio © vs. Dolph Ziggler

At Wrestlemania last month Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler to once again become the new WWE Champion. Tonight Dolph Ziggler will get his contractually obligated rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship against Del Rio in a Steel Cage match. Dolph Ziggler thanked the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T for making this match a Steel Cage match as it means that Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez will be unable to interfere.

United States Championship: Dean Ambrose © vs. Santino Marella vs. Zack Ryder

Dean Ambrose will put his WWE United States Championship on the line tonight against both members of “Team CoBro”, the highly entertaining Santino Marella as well as Zack Ryder. Ambrose shocked many members of the WWE Universe this past week on Monday Night RAW with a huge non-title victory over Chris Jericho and will look to get the all-important win and retain his title again tonight.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dog Collar: Curtis Axel © versus Ted DiBiase

At the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View back in February as well as at Wrestlemania last month Ted DiBiase failed in attempts to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Curtis Axel. Tonight Ted DiBiase will receive one final title shot in a Dog Collar match.

Number 1 Contenders Match: Tornado Rules: Rhodes Legacy vs. Prime Time Players

This past week on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Universe were delighted to see the return of Goldust and it appears that Goldust will be teaming up with his brother Cody Rhodes for the foreseeable future. The Rhodes Legacy challenged any tag team to a match tonight and the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil accepted the challenge. SmackDown General Manager Booker T would then announce that this match will be fought under Tornado rules and that the winners would become the Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Casket Match: WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Chris Jericho

This past week on Monday Night RAW one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, William Regal, suffered an injury and will be out of action for a few months. However, Regal’s tag team partner Roman Reigns will be in action tonight as he will face Chris Jericho in a Casket match.

Last Man Standing Match: John Cena versus Brock Lesnar

Despite winning the Royal Rumble match back in January, outlasting twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, John Cena failed to win the WWE Championship from CM Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania, and tonight Cena will face another stern challenge as he much take on Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match.

First Blood Match: Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt

The night after Wrestlemania Bray Wyatt made his debut appearance on Monday Night RAW by attacking Randy Orton, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe in attendance. Tonight will see Bray Wyatt make his in-ring debut as he faces Orton in a First Blood match.

Ring of Fire Match: Kane versus Antonio Cesaro

Fire will surround the ring tonight when Kane takes on Antonio Cesaro in a Ring of Fire match. Tonight the WWE Universe in attendance will likely be in support of Kane and he should feel at home with the flames engulfing the ring.

WWE Divas Championship: Submission Match: Kaitlyn © versus Tamina

Finally, Kaitlyn will put her WWE Divas Championship on the line tonight against Tamina in a Submission match. Kaitlyn has earned the sympathies of the WWE Universe in recent weeks following multiple assaults from her fellow Divas on Friday Night SmackDown. At Wrestlemania the Divas Champion Kaitlyn defeated Tamina to retain her title successfully and she will hope to do the same in tonight’s submission match. The Divas division in the WWE is rapidly growing and there will be many other Divas watching this match closely.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Daniel Bryan

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the reigning WWE Champion, the self-proclaimed “Best in the World” CM Punk in action as he will take on Daniel Bryan in a non-title match. Last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View CM Punk once again successfully retained his WWE Championship in the evening’s main event when he defeated Daniel Bryan in a Falls Count Anywhere match. However, an all-important non-title victory over CM Punk for Daniel Bryan tonight could well lead to him earning another opportunity to challenge for the WWE Championship. The night after Wrestlemania three weeks ago Daniel Bryan made his first appearance on Monday Night RAW in over six months after primarily competing on Friday Night SmackDown as part of Team Hell No along with his tag team partner Kane since last summer. Daniel Bryan was then interrupted by AJ Lee who tried to rekindle the romance between Bryan and AJ and informed Daniel Bryan that due to her close relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Bryan would challenge for the WWE Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Daniel Bryan refused the offer from AJ to rekindle their former relationship instead claiming that he wanted to focus on his tag team with Kane as well as becoming the new WWE Champion for the first time in his career but nevertheless Daniel Bryan thanked AJ for the title shot. For the past few weeks on Monday Night RAW CM Punk has been telling the WWE Universe that the only reason Daniel Bryan received a title shot at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View is because of AJ Lee and her close friendship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. CM Punk was however able to leave Extreme Rules with his WWE Championship in tact just as his advocate Paul Heyman had promised earlier in the evening following Heyman’s other client, Brock Lesnar, defeating John Cena in a Last Man Standing match. CM Punk is the longest reigning WWE Champion in the past twenty-five years having held the WWE Championship since defeating the former Champion Alberto Del Rio at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View back in November of 2011 to become the new WWE Champion for the third time in his career. CM Punk is also currently on an astounding thirty-four match winning streak that has lasted over eight months so far since last September and as well as defeating Daniel Bryan last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View CM Punk also holds a tag team victory over Daniel Bryan from two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW when Punk teamed up with Brock Lesnar to defeat the Team Hell No pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan in the evening’s tag team main event. Many feel that Daniel Bryan could have won the WWE Championship last night were it not for his constant dancing during the match, and at times Daniel Bryan seemed a little distracted and looked a bit like a dancing fool. However, Daniel Bryan is a former World Heavyweight Champion and should not be taken lightly by CM Punk tonight. Daniel Bryan is also a former Money in the Bank winner and has held the WWE United States Championship on one occasion as well as being a former WWE Tag Team Champion with his partner Kane.

Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will witness tag team action as the team of Batista and Mason Ryan will take on Jack Swagger and Tensai. The WWE Universe in attendance are likely to be fully behind Batista and Mason Ryan in this one and a victory for either team could well gain the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager and earn them a future opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Santino Marella

Last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Dean Ambrose defeated both Zack Ryder as well as his “Team CoBro” tag team partner Santino Marella in a Triple Threat match to retain the WWE United States Championship. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Dean Ambrose will take on Santino Marella in a non-title match and a victory for Santino could lead to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero giving Santino another title opportunity.

WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Zack Ryder

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns, will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Zack Ryder. Roman Reigns impressed many members of the WWE Universe with his performance last night against Chris Jericho in a Casket match despite ultimately losing the match. Zack Ryder was also unable to gain a victory last night as he failed to win the United States Championship.

Randy Orton versus Antonio Cesaro

Last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Randy Orton defeated Bray Wyatt in a First Blood match in what was Bray Wyatt’s debut match in front of the WWE Universe when Orton hit Wyatt with an RKO onto a steel chair. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Orton will be in action against Antonio Cesaro.

Audrey Marie versus Raquel Diaz

Raquel Diaz, the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, will be in Divas action tonight on RAW as she will take on the “Original Diva” Audrey Marie.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Daniel Bryan

Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Santino Marella

WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Zack Ryder

Randy Orton versus Antonio Cesaro

Audrey Marie versus Raquel Diaz

<strong>Pre-Show: Naomi versus Sexy Star</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Naomi defeated Sexy Star in 18:29 by pinfall. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved as the WWE Universe in attendance did not know much about either of the Divas competing despite them competing in several matches on Monday Night RAW over the past few months and competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT for a few months at the beginning of the year. Ultimately it was the highly athletic Naomi that picked up the all-important victory here.</p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Chris Jericho versus Kassius Ohno</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Jericho defeated Kassius Ohno in 17:50 by pinfall with a Lionsault. This was another impressive victory for Chris Jericho following his win over one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns in a Casket match last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. After a string of losses on Monday Night RAW following his loss to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania Chris Jericho now seems to be getting back on track.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Evan Bourne versus Bray Wyatt</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Bray Wyatt defeated Evan Bourne in 17:54 by pinfall with a Standing Senton Splash. Bray Wyatt was visibly tiring towards the end of this match.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Monday Night RAW once again begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. CM Punk retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that the only reason Daniel Bryan received a shot at the WWE Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View is because of AJ Lee and her relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. However, Punk continues, he was once again able to successfully retain the WWE Championship last night in the main event of the evening and will once again defeat Daniel Bryan in tonight’s non-title main event. CM Punk says that he is angry that just because Team Hell No, consisting of Kane and Daniel Bryan, lost the WWE Tag Team Championships they have decided to begin interfering with his business. Punk says that Kane and Bryan should go back to Friday Night SmackDown. Another of Paul Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, then joins CM Punk in the ring and the pair shake hands. Brock Lesnar says that last night at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View he beat John Cena so bad in the Last Man Standing match that Cena will likely never be the same again. Lesnar says that he enjoys hurting people, and that once they have faced him his opponents will always be too scared to look him in the eyes again. Punk and Lesnar then leave the ring together and head to the back as RAW heads to a commercial break.</em></p><p>

<strong>Audrey Marie versus Raquel Diaz</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Audrey Marie defeated Raquel Diaz in 6:07 by pinfall. Alicia Fox accompanied Audrey Marie to the ring for this match.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Following her victory Audrey Marie celebrates in the ring in front of the WWE Universe along with Alicia Fox. Emma then joins the pair and the three celebrate until the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the entrance-way flanked by Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Vickie orders Beth and Natalya to head to the ring and look as though they are going to attack the trio in the ring until Naomi makes the save. Beth and Natalya then retreat back to the entrance-way where they are joined by Kharma who stares down the four Divas in the ring.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Swagger & Tensai defeated Batista & Ryan in 7:54 when Jack Swagger defeated Batista by pinfall with a Swagger Bomb. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero accompanied Swagger and Tensai to the ring for this match that saw Swagger pin Batista to win the match for his team.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns and William Regal, come to the ring. Regal takes a microphone and says that he will sit at ringside to watch his partner in action next.</em></p><p>

<strong>WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Zack Ryder</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Zack Ryder defeated Roman Reigns in 8:25 by pinfall with a Rough Ryder. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler announce that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Santino Marella and Zack Ryder will once again challenge Dean Ambrose for the US title in a Triple Threat match.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Kane comes to the ring but before he can say anything is joined by AJ Lee. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Santino Marella</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Dean Ambrose defeated Santino Marella in 7:46 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. The commentary team note that Ambrose will face Santino again at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View when he will put his US title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Santino and Zack Ryder.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>John Cena comes to the ring only to be interrupted by AJ Lee. Cena tells AJ that he doesn’t want to hear anything she says about Vickie Guerrero or Brock Lesnar. Cena says that this Friday he will be on SmackDown and that will be his home from now on.</em></p><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Daniel Bryan</strong></p><p>

<p><strong>Tuesday, Week 4, April, 2013</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>NXT Champion Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods versus Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel</strong></p><p>

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will see the NXT Champion Seth Rollins team up with Xavier Woods to take on the team of Bo Dallas, the Second Generation Superstar, as well as his tag team partner, the former WWE Tag Team Champion Justin Gabriel. The NXT Universe inside what is likely to be an almost sold out NXT Arena tonight will surely be fully behind the team of Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel in this one. Many competitors will be jostling in this match to try and prove themselves to the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and become the next in line to challenge Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship. Seth Rollins made the most recent defence of his NXT Championship just last week on NXT when he defeated the “Man that Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville in the evening’s main event. Dusty Rhodes will of course be at ringside as NXT’s sole commentator following the former NXT announcers William Regal and Byron Saxton moving up to the main WWE roster, where William Regal is of course now one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions along with Roman Reigns. Justin Gabriel made his first appearance on NXT in over six months two weeks ago when he proclaimed to the NXT Universe that he wants to challenge for the NXT Championship, and was interrupted by the NXT Champion Seth Rollins who told Justin Gabriel that he had to get to the back of the line. Later on that evening Bo Dallas would defeat Seth Rollins in non-title action. As well as Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel, Xavier Woods will also feel that he should be the Number One Contender for the NXT Championship and an all-important victory tonight and an impressive showing from Xavier Woods could lead to him getting a future title opportunity. The most experienced participant in tonight’s main event is of course the high-flying Justin Gabriel, who has had several years of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Tonight Justin Gabriel will team with Bo Dallas for the very first time. Bo Dallas is, as aforementioned, a Second Generation competitor with his father being Mike “IRS” Rotunda. Seth Rollins is the first ever NXT Champion having won the “Gold Rush” tournament last summer to decide the first ever NXT Champion, defeating 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the tournament final. For months Seth Rollins declared that he wanted to remain on NXT and create a legacy as the greatest NXT Champion of all time despite knowing that his destiny was to compete in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster. However, in recent months Seth Rollins has seemingly lost the support of the NXT Universe due to his aggressive nature and tendencies. Four weeks ago on NXT Julius Smokes confronted Seth Rollins backstage and told him that even though their backgrounds and cultures are different, with Julius Smokes being somewhat of a “gangster” and Seth Rollins being a follower of Dark Grunge, Smokes told Rollins that he had contacts in high positions within the WWE including the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, and that if Rollins joined him they could go to the promised lands of the WWE together. It is as of yet unclear whether or not Seth Rollins will join Julius Smokes and Smokes hasn’t been seen on NXT since his backstage confrontation with Rollins four weeks ago. Tonight Seth Rollins has to focus in the evening’s tag team main event and put other issues to the back of his mind.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins</strong></p><p>

Also tonight on NXT the highly charismatic and athletic Percy Watson will be in action as he will take on a competitor with a history of competing in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown and a former WWE Tag Team Champion, Curt Hawkins. Last week on NXT Curt Hawkins made his first appearance in front of the NXT Universe for over seven months and his first match inside the NXT Arena as he teamed with Drake Younger to take on the team of Bo Dallas and Percy Watson. However, the match ended in a no contest after the referee was unable to separate the teams as they began to brawl all over the arena. Tonight on NXT Percy Watson and Curt Hawkins will be in the ring again against one another, this time in singles competition. Percy Watson will be looking to do all he can tonight to impress the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes whereas Curt Hawkins may be looking to gain an emphatic victory to attain the attention of WWE management such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christina Von Eerie versus Mia Yim</strong></p><p>

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE NXT will see Christina Von Eerie in action against the Diva from the Orient, the beautiful Mia Yim. NXT’s Divas division is always expanding and many Divas from NXT have recently been called up to compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown, such as Paige, Audrey Marie and the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz. Both Von Eerie as well as Mia Yim will be looking to impress the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena tonight as well as gain the attentions of the WWE Hall of Famer and NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,416 in Attendance)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>NXT kicks off with the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcoming us as the sole announcer of NXT. The NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena seem very excited for the show as the NXT Commissioner informs the television viewers that the main event of tonight’s show will see the NXT Champion Seth Rollins team up with Xavier Woods to take on the team of Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel. The NXT Universe then come to their feet as Justin Gabriel’s music plays and the man dubbed by his twitter followers as the “Cape Town Werewolf” comes to the ring to a terrific reception. Justin Gabriel is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area after acknowledging the fans in attendance and proclaims that he is looking forward to teaming up with the Second Generation star Bo Dallas for the very first time in tonight’s tag team main event against the team of Seth Rollins, the NXT Champion, and Xavier Woods. Justin Gabriel says that as everyone knows, he is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, and has made hundreds of appearances in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown during his tenure in the WWE. Justin Gabriel says that despite his clear talent, for the past year or so he has felt overlooked by both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Justin Gabriel says that his appearances on television since last summer have mostly been limited to tag team matches with his good friend and partner Tyson Kidd. Justin Gabriel continues that even though he and Tyson Kidd are very good friends and will likely team up again at some point in the future, Justin Gabriel is here on NXT to prove that he has what it takes to compete at the highest level as a singles performer, and to do that and prove his worth he intends to defeat Seth Rollins and become the new NXT Champion. Justin Gabriel is then interrupted as the music of Seth Rollins hits the NXT Arena and the NXT Champion comes to the entrance-way with a microphone already in hand. Justin Gabriel asks Seth Rollins if he is willing to give him a title opportunity should Justin Gabriel pin him in tonight’s tag team main event. Seth Rollins replies that he isn’t out here to talk about Justin Gabriel, who Rollins says is an irrelevance, but here to address the situation and speculation regarding himself and Julius Smokes. Seth Rollins says that as many people know, four weeks ago on NXT Julius Smokes confronted him backstage and asked him if Rollins would join Julius Smokes and enter the “promised land” of the WWE together. Seth Rollins says that he has given it much thought, but he feels that he and Julius Smokes are too different culturally to be able to get along in a business relationship. Rollins notes that he is a follower of Dark Grunge whereas Julius Smokes sees himself as somewhat of a “gangster”. Seth Rollins says that now he has cleared that up, he wants to publicly apologise to Xavier Woods as four weeks ago in a tag team match Rollins walked out on his partner Xavier Woods allowing Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson to defeat Woods. Seth Rollins says that in tonight’s tag team main event he will not walk out on Xavier Woods again and claims that he and Woods will soundly defeat Gabriel and Bo Dallas tonight. Justin Gabriel says that he has other plans in mind, and Rollins says that he doesn’t care what Gabriel thinks. Rollins then heads to the back as NXT heads to it’s first commercial break of the evening.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christina Von Eerie versus Mia Yim</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Christina Von Eerie defeated Mia Yim in 8:29 by pinfall. Following a commercial break the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes informs us that tonight’s opening contest will see Divas action as Christina Von Eerie will take on Mia Yim. In truth this wasn’t a great match but Von Eerie was able to pick up the all-important victory.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly applying make-up in front of a mirror. Maxine then walks into the room and being the bitch that everybody thinks she is, she tells Kelly that she looks positively dreadful this evening. Maxine tells Kelly that she is lucky that she doesn’t have a match tonight as the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena would likely be sick at the sight of Kelly. The angered Kelly stands up and tells Maxine that she isn’t just a pretty face, she is also a knock-out artist and that she will have no problems knocking Maxine out right now. Maxine says that she has been on NXT for too long and deserves her chance to compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown and is angry that Kelly has suddenly shown up on NXT and taken what she believes is her spot. Rain then walks into the room and tells Maxine that her name is Rain, and although she lost her debut match last week on NXT, she wants the chance to show how good she really is and wants to tell Maxine she looks up to her. Maxine thanks Rain and Rain looks at Kelly with disgust and Rain and Maxine leave the room together as NXT heads to yet another commercial break.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Percy Watson versus Curt Hawkins</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated Percy Watson in 7:54 by pinfall with a Heat Seeking Elbow Drop. Hawkins picked up the win in this one as he looks to rejuvenate his career.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NXT Champion Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods versus Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel defeated Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods in 7:50 by pinfall after Bo Dallas pinned Xavier Woods with a Belly to Belly Suplex. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” notes on commentary that both Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel feel that they are deserving of a title shot. Seth Rollins once again walks out on his partner in this one allowing Bo Dallas to pin Xavier Woods.</p><p>

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/WWE_Superstars_logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see the high-flyer from San Diego, California, Rey Mysterio, in action as he will take on the brawling Brit from Preston, England, Wade Barrett in singles competition. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight on WWE Superstars are likely to be fully behind Rey Mysterio in this one. For the past six months or so Rey Mysterio has been primarily competing as a tag team competitor along with his tag team partner Sin Cara, who Rey Mysterio has become somewhat as a mentor for. It is certain that Mysterio would love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future with his partner, the Mexican sensation Sin Cara, and an all-important victory for Mysterio over Wade Barrett in the main event of WWE Superstars tonight could well earn Mysterio and Sin Cara a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships should Rey catch the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. The WWE Tag Team Championships are currently held by the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal but they are yet to defend them as William Regal suffered a Hernia a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW and will be out of action for a couple of months. This past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the Rhodes Dynasty pairing of Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, the Prime Time Players, in a Tornado tag team match to become the Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships and will therefore be first in line for a title shot when Regal returns from injury. Rey Mysterio is certainly the most experienced Superstar in tonight’s main event and has won a lot of accolades during his time in the WWE including winning the Royal Rumble match back in 2006, and holding a record for the longest time in the Royal Rumble match at over an hour after he entered as the second participant that year. After winning the Royal Rumble match in 2006 Rey Mysterio would go on to become the new World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time later that year at Wrestlemania 22. Rey Mysterio would then win the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in the summer of 2010. Rey Mysterio is also a former WWE Champion although only held the title for a few hours in July of 2011. Additionally, Rey Mysterio is a former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and has won the WWE Tag Team Championships on four occasions with four different partners, two of them being WWE Hall of Famers in Edge and the late, great Eddie Guerrero, and the other two being former WWE Champions in Rob Van Dam and Batista. Rey Mysterio was also a former eight-time Cruiserweight Champion before the title was retired. Rey Mysterio’s opponent in tonight’s main event, Wade Barrett, is a two-time former WWE Intercontinental Champion having last held the title back in February until he lost it to the current Champion Curtis Axel in a Triple Threat match also involving R-Truth. Wade Barrett also won the first ever season of NXT back in June of 2010. This match is a rematch from last week’s Superstars main event when Wade Barrett was able to defeat Mysterio. Barrett also has another victory over Mysterio to his name this year as Barrett defeated Mysterio on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown back in January, the first SmackDown of 2013.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley in action against the Hispanic friends Hunico and Camacho. Since forming their tag team many months ago now, Brodus Clay and Alex Riley have become a very popular pair within the WWE Universe. Both of these teams would also love the chance to become the WWE Tag Team Champions at some point in the future and a victory for either team tonight could well gain the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn themselves a future Championship opportunity. Neither of these four WWE Superstars are yet to hold Championship gold in the WWE despite all of them being here for at least a year. This is also a rematch from last week’s edition of WWE Superstars which saw Brodus Clay and Alex Riley defeat the team of Hunico and Camacho in what was their first ever tag team match against one another. The win for Brodus Clay and Alex Riley last week was their first tag team appearance on television since March when they were able to defeat the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal, now the WWE Tag Team Champions, for three successive weeks on Monday Night RAW. Hunico and Camacho were the losers again last week on SmackDown against the returning Goldust and his brother Cody Rhodes so could really do with a victory tonight on WWE Superstars.

Alicia Fox versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox in action as she will take on Paige in singles competition. Paige has been competing in front of the WWE Universe for almost five months now after spending the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT. This past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Kaitlyn defeated Tamina in a Submission match to successfully retain her Divas Championship and both of these Divas will be hoping to be next in line for a title shot.

Quick Picks:

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

Alicia Fox versus Paige

WWE Superstars (Live from Dickens Athletic Center (IL), 2440 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Layla versus Raquel Diaz

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Layla defeated Raquel Diaz in 18:05 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given the Divas that were involved, with the WWE Universe in attendance not knowing much about Raquel Diaz yet despite her making several appearances on Monday Night RAW in the last few months and being the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Nevertheless, the former Divas Champion Layla picks up the all-important victory in this one.

Match Rating: D

(Val Venis would seriously consider either turning Layla or trying a new gimmick as she has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus The Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Prime Time Players defeated The Oriental Dragons in 17:58 when Titus O'Neil defeated Richie Steamboat by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. The Godfather accompanied the team of Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima to ringside for this one but it was the Prime Time Players who picked up the win after Titus O’Neil pinned Steamboat.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Leo Kruger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Leo Kruger in 17:40 by pinfall with a Death Valley Driver. Uncle Elgin was visibly tiring towards the end of this match.

Match Rating: F

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Hunico and Camacho

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Hunico & Camacho defeated Brodus & Riley in 8:19 when Camacho defeated Alex Riley by submission. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these teams would love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future.

Match Rating: D+

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk retrieved a microphone from the ringside area and was quick to brag about how he defeated Daniel Bryan in the main event of the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View this past Sunday in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Punk said that Daniel Bryan only got his title shot because of AJ Lee and her relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and said that both Kane and Daniel Bryan should go back to Friday Night SmackDown. Punk said that he would defeat Daniel Bryan again in RAW’s non-title main event. Another of Paul Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, then joined Punk in the ring and bragged about how he defeated and destroyed John Cena in their Last Man Standing match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, and claimed that Cena would never want to face him again. Later in the evening Kane came to the ring and was swiftly informed by AJ Lee that because of her relationship with Vickie Guerrero, Kane will challenge for the WWE Championship against CM Punk at the upcoming Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. John Cena came to the ring later in the evening and was also interrupted by AJ Lee. Cena said that he had had enough of AJ Lee, Vickie Guerrero and Brock Lesnar and that this Friday he will make his first appearance on Friday Night SmackDown in over eight months. In the evening’s non-title main event CM Punk defeated Daniel Bryan.

Alicia Fox versus Paige

In an extremely short match, Alicia Fox defeated Paige in 2:55 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Layla accompanied her good friend Alicia Fox to ringside for this one.

Following another commercial break WWE Superstars airs highlights from this past Sunday’s Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, including matches such as Curtis Axel successfully defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ted DiBiase in a Dog Collar match. Despite Ted DiBiase having the support of the WWE Universe in attendance, it was Curtis Axel who retained his title in what was likely the final title shot that Ted DiBiase will receive in a while. Highlights are also shown from the World Heavyweight Championship match with Alberto Del Rio defeating Dolph Ziggler inside a Steel Cage to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez accompanied Del Rio to the ring but was unable to interfere as a steel cage was between him and Del Rio. Del Rio picked up the win but after the match as Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez were celebrating WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart made his way to the ring, and just as at Wrestlemania last month Alberto Del Rio quickly fled the scene allowing Bret Hart to once again lock Rodriguez in the patented Sharpshooter. It is unclear as to what the relationship will now be between Del Rio and Rodriguez after Del Rio once again failed to help his ring announcer. A tweet is then shown from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T announcing that the main event of SmackDown tomorrow night will see Alberto Del Rio take on Christian in non-title action.

Rating: C+

Rey Mysterio versus Wade Barrett

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Rey Mysterio defeated Wade Barrett in 7:56 by pinfall with a 619 into a Flying Splash. This was a decent victory for Mysterio after Barrett’s win last week.

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Erick Rowan

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Erick Rowan defeated Alexander Rusev in 13:07 by pinfall. The Godfather accompanied Rusev to the ring.

Match Rating: F-

Post-Show: Marcus Owens versus Big E Langston

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Big E Langston defeated Marcus Owens in 12:33 by submission. The crowd were totally turned off by this match.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Christian

The main event of this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced via a tweet sent out earlier this week by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio taking on “Captain Charisma” Christian in non-title action. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight for Friday Night SmackDown are likely to be fully behind Christian in this one and Christian may have the advantage heading into the match as he did not compete this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View whereas Alberto Del Rio competed in a gruelling Steel Cage match against Dolph Ziggler to successfully retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Following Alberto Del Rio’s victory over Dolph Ziggler the cage was raised and Del Rio celebrated in the ring with his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez until the music of the WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart hit the arena and Bret Hart made his way to the ring. Just as at Wrestlemania last month, Alberto Del Rio fled the scene allowing Ricardo Rodriguez to suffer the Sharpshooter from Bret Hart. After Del Rio left Bret Hart to put Ricardo Rodriguez in the Sharpshooter at Wrestlemania, many speculated on the relationship between Del Rio and Rodriguez but the next week on SmackDown Del Rio said that Rodriguez had forgiven him and that all was well. We may find out tonight on Friday Night SmackDown whether or not Ricardo Rodriguez will be just as forgiving towards his employer this time after Del Rio again left Rodriguez to suffer from Bret Hart and it will be interesting to see whether or not Ricardo Rodriguez accompanies Del Rio to the ring for tonight’s main event. An all-important victory for Christian over the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio, albeit in non-title action, could well lead to Christian getting a future title opportunity. Alberto Del Rio is currently enjoying his second reign as World Heavyweight Champion which began at Wrestlemania last month when he defeated the former World Champion Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio would then defeated Dolph Ziggler this past Sunday in the Steel Cage match in what was Dolph Ziggler’s contractually obligated rematch which was Del Rio’s first successful title defence. Christian has been accompanied to the ring by his seemingly girlfriend Layla as lot as of late and it would appear that their relationship is growing stronger by the day. Christian is a very accomplished Superstar in the WWE and is himself a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion having last held the title in August of 2011. Christian is also a former four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, last holding the title last summer and is also a former nine-time WWE Tag Team Champion, holding the titles on seven occasions with his former Hall of Fame tag team partner Edge, and holding the titles on one occasion with Lance Storm and once with Chris Jericho. Tonight will be the first meeting between Del Rio and Christian in over eight months as they have not competed against one another, even in tag team action, since last summer.

The Rhodes Dynasty versus Hunico and Camacho

This past Sunday at the WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View the Rhodes Dynasty of Cody Rhodes and his brother Goldust defeated the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil to become the new Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships. One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, William Regal, suffered a Hernia a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW and will be out for a few months but as soon as Regal is able to compete he, along with the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns, will have to put their titles on the line for the very first time against the Rhodes Dynasty. Cody Rhodes and Goldust will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the team of Hunico and Camacho.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Big E Langston

The WWE Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel will put his title on the line against Big E Langston, who will be making his WWE television debut in front of the WWE Universe tonight. Big E Langston spent the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT however his last match was in October of last year when he teamed with Calvin Raines in a losing effort against Richie Steamboat and the NXT Champion Seth Rollins.

Dolph Ziggler versus Wade Barrett

This past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Dolph Ziggler failed to defeat Alberto Del Rio in their Steel Cage match to become World Champion once again and tonight will look to bounce back as he takes on Wade Barrett on Friday Night SmackDown.

The Big Show versus The Miz

The World’s Largest Athlete the Big Show will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on the Miz. The WWE Universe are likely to be behind the Big Show in this one.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the Divas Champion Kaitlyn take on Eve in a non-title match. Kaitlyn defeated Tamina in their Submission match this past Sunday to retain her title.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Christian

The Rhodes Dynasty versus Hunico and Camacho

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Big E Langston

Dolph Ziggler versus Wade Barrett

The Big Show versus The Miz

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month. This is the final show of this month’s contest and the overall winner will be able to pick the challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming WWE No Way Out Pay-Per-View!)

Alicia Fox returned to the ringside area with the Uso’s for this tag team match against the 3MB pairing of Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Match Rating: C

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the music of John Cena hitting the arena and the former multiple-time WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion John Cena comes to the ring much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. Cena retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that due to AJ Lee and her relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Cena was forced into a Last Man Standing match against Brock Lesnar this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Cena says that he put up his best effort against Lesnar on Sunday, just as he did in the main event of Wrestlemania against the WWE Champion CM Punk, but ultimately Cena fell short. Cena says that he is aware that he hasn’t had the best couple of months and knows that if he remains turning up to RAW he will have the deck stacked against him by Vickie Guerrero and his former romance AJ Lee. Cena says that he was invited to SmackDown tonight by the General Manager Booker T and has also been informed that at the upcoming Over the Limit Pay-Per-View he will challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship. The personal ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, then comes to the ring and tells Cena that he loves his employer Alberto Del Rio despite Del Rio leaving him to suffer the Sharpshooter from Bret Hart this past Sunday. Mark Henry then rushes to the ring and hits Cena with the World’s Strongest Slam whilst Cena is distracted by Rodriguez. Alberto Del Rio then appears at the entrance-way and hands Mark Henry an envelope, presumably containing money. Cena is on the mat in the middle of the ring as SmackDown heads to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Eve

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Eve in 7:23 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker announce that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Kaitlyn will once again put her title on the line against Tamina.

Match Rating: C

Following her victory Kaitlyn is joined in the ring by Alicia Fox and Layla and the trio celebrate together. Paige and Layla then attack Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox.

Rating: D+

The Rhodes Dynasty versus Hunico and Camacho

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Rhodes Dynasty defeated Hunico & Camacho in 8:22 when Cody Rhodes defeated Camacho by pinfall with The Beautiful Disaster. The commentary team announce that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View the Rhodes Dynasty will once again take on the Prime Time Players.

Match Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find Darren Young watching a monitor, presumably scouting the Rhodes Dynasty in their match that just took place. Natalya then tries to seduce Darren Young but he tells her is only wants to focus on his Prime Time Players tag team with Titus O’Neil. Natalya then walks off disappointed as SmackDown cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: D

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Big E Langston

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Curtis Axel defeated Big E Langston in 8:16 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. Curtis Axel makes defence number 4 of his WWE Intercontinental title. Big E Langston was really off his game tonight.

Match Rating: D-

We cut backstage to find R-Truth in the locker-room with Cody Rhodes and Goldust, the Rhodes Dynasty. Titus O’Neil then enters the room and says that the Prime Time Players will be Cody and Goldust at Over the Limit. Titus then shoves R-Truth before fleeing the room as SmackDown heads to a commercial break.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find Christian preparing for tonight’s main event when Aksana walks into the room. Aksana tries to seduce Christian, and Christian acts like a Cheeky Monkey pretending to be interested before saying although Layla dumped him earlier, he is not interested. Aksana looks disappointed as we head to commercial.

Rating: C-

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Team Hell No

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Champion CM Punk team up with another of Paul Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, in tag team action as they will take on the Team Hell No pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan. We learnt last week from AJ Lee that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Kane will challenge Punk for the WWE Championship.

Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

More tag team action on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW will see the team of Batista and Mason Ryan take on Jack Swagger and Tensai. The WWE Universe are likely to be fully behind Batista and Mason Ryan in this match as both teams will surely go all-out to pick up the all-important victory and impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Zack Ryder

We learnt last week on Monday Night RAW that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Dean Ambrose will put his US title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Tonight Ambrose will face Ryder in non-title action.

WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Santino Marella

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns, will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will face Santino Marella. At Over the Limit Santino will join Zack Ryder in challenging Dean Ambrose for the US title in a Triple Threat match.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Bramlage Coliseum (KS), 12,528 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Audrey Marie versus Sexy Star

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Audrey Marie defeated Sexy Star in 18:05 by submission. Unfortunately Audrey Marie, the self-proclaimed “Original Diva” was visibly tiring towards the end of this Divas match and was really struggling in terms of physical conditioning by the end, which the WWE Universe in attendance definitely noticed. Audrey Marie spent the majority of the year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT where she competed in much shorter matches. Ultimately, despite her inferior conditioning, Audrey Marie was still able to pick up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Evan Bourne versus Adrian Neville

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Adrian Neville defeated Evan Bourne in 18:04 by pinfall with a 630° Senton. Prior to this match two-thirds of the Monday Night RAW commentary team, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler, took their positions at ringside. Michael Cole remained backstage, waiting for the television broadcast to begin. The two Hall of Famers JR and King witnessed an impressive Adrian Neville victory here.

Match Rating: C-

Match Rating: C-

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring, to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring CM Punk retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that last week on RAW he found out that at the upcoming Over the Limit Pay-Per-View he will be defending his WWE Championship against Kane. CM Punk says that the only reason Daniel Bryan received a shot at the WWE Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View last month is because of his former relationship with AJ Lee and AJ now being close friends with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Punk says that this is also the only reason that Daniel Bryan’s Team Hell No tag team partner, Kane, is getting a title shot at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, because Kane and AJ used to have some sick sort of connection. CM Punk says that he defeated Daniel Bryan again last week on RAW, and that in tonight’s tag team main event he and Brock Lesnar, the two Paul Heyman clients, will defeat Team Hell No. Brock Lesnar then comes to the ring and says that he is pleased that he beat John Cena so badly at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View that Cena is now licking his wounds on Friday Night SmackDown. Brock Lesnar challenges a man who has never beat him, Chris Jericho, to a match at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Punk and Lesnar then leave the ring together and head to the back as RAW heads to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Swagger & Tensai defeated Batista & Ryan in 8:20 when Jack Swagger defeated Mason Ryan by pinfall with a Swagger Bomb. Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero accompanied the team of Swagger and Tensai to ringside for this match which saw Swagger pin Mason Ryan to get the win for his team.

Match Rating: C

The WWE Tag Team Champions, Roman Reigns and William Regal, make their way to the ring. Regal says that Roman Reigns is officially challenging Daniel Bryan to a singles match at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View.

Rating: C+

WWE Tag Team Champion Roman Reigns versus Santino Marella

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Roman Reigns defeated Santino Marella in 5:36 by pinfall. Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler noted that this could be seen as an upset, whereas Michael Cole argued that Santino is a joke.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to find Daniel Bryan watching highlights of Roman Reigns versus Santino Marella when AJ Lee approaches him. AJ asks Daniel Bryan if he will accept the challenge from Roman Reigns for a match at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Daniel Bryan says that he accepts but tonight he needs to focus on his tag team main event and supporting his Team Hell No tag team partner Kane. Bryan then walks off leaving AJ smiling.

Rating: C

Naomi versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Naomi defeated Raquel Diaz in 4:19 by pinfall. The Monday Night RAW commentary team note that Raquel Diaz is the daughter of Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Match Rating: E-

Following the match Naomi is joined in the ring by Emma and the pair celebrate together in front of the WWE Universe until the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the entrance-way flanked by Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Beth and Natalya enter the ring and are about to attack Naomi and Emma until Audrey Marie rushes to the ring to make the save. Beth and Natalya then retreat to the entrance-way where they are joined by Kharma, who has a stare down with the three Divas in the ring.

Rating: D+

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Dean Ambrose defeated Zack Ryder in 8:11 by pinfall with a Moxicity. JR and Lawler note that Ambrose will have a tougher test against both Ryder and Santino at Over the Limit, but Michael Cole says it will be easy for Ambrose.

Match Rating: C+

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance but before he can say anything else the lights in the arena go off and when they come back on Bray Wyatt is standing over a fallen Randy Orton.

Rating: B

Chris Jericho versus Antonio Cesaro

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Jericho defeated Antonio Cesaro in 7:57 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. The commentary team announce that it is official – Jericho will face Lesnar at Over the Limit.

Match Rating: C

The Rock comes to the ring, making his first appearance in front of the WWE Universe since he and Mick Foley lost to the Kings of Wrestling at Wrestlemania. The Rock says that both Cesaro and Kassius Ohno outwrestled him, and that perhaps it’s time to hang his boots up.

Rating: B

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Team Hell No

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar defeated Team Hell No in 8:21 when CM Punk defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall with a Go To Sleep. The commentary team note that CM Punk has now defeated Daniel Bryan three times in under two weeks. At Over the Limit Punk will put his title on the line against Kane.

http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

Calvin Raines versus Curt Hawkins

The main event of tonight’s edition of NXT will see the former WWE Tag Team Champion Curt Hawkins in action as he will take on Calvin Raines. The NXT Universe in attendance inside what is sure to be an almost sold out NXT Arena may not know too much about Calvin Raines as this will only be his second appearance on NXT this year. Calvin Raines last competed on NXT when he took part in a Triple Threat match back in March against two other rookies, Brad Maddox and Nick Rogers. Calvin Raines was unsuccessful in that match as Nick Rogers picked up the all-important victory. Prior to March, Calvin Raines had only made two appearances on NXT, both of them coming last year. Back in October of last year Calvin Raines teamed with Big E Langston in a losing effort against the team of the NXT Champion Seth Rollins and his partner, Bo Dallas. Also, on the last episode of NXT of 2012 last December, Calvin Raines took part in a Fatal Four-Way match along with Jake Carter, PAC (now known as Adrian Neville) and Derrick Bateman. It was Derrick Bateman victorious in the Fatal Four-Way match last December so Calvin Raines has yet to pick up a victory of any kind in his three previous matches he has taken part in on NXT. Tonight’s main event is therefore a huge opportunity for Calvin Raines against the veteran Curt Hawkins, and an upset victory over Hawkins tonight for Calvin Raines could well gain the attentions of the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, who will be watching from ringside as always as the sole NXT commentator. Calvin Raines appears to see himself as some what of a Bad Ass given the comments he regularly makes on Twitter but he will undoubtedly have to be on the top of his game to pick up the win over Curt Hawkins tonight. Curt Hawkins has always been somewhat of an Egomaniac and since he came to NXT a few weeks ago he seems to believe that NXT is now his show. Curt Hawkins has many reasons to be confident and egotistical given that he has made many appearances on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown in front of the WWE Universe in the past several years. Hawkins will be hoping that he can win several matches on NXT and regain the attentions of the WWE higher ups such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Whilst Calvin Raines is obviously yet to win his first Championship, Curt Hawkins is a former WWE Tag Team Champion as he held the titles with his former tag team partner Zack Ryder back in the summer of 2008. Curt Hawkins made his first appearance on NXT for almost a year two weeks ago when he teamed up with Drake Younger in a tag team match against the team of Bo Dallas and Percy Watson. That match ended in a no contest after the official could not control the match when the teams started brawling all over the NXT Arena.

Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel versus Kenny King and Drake Younger

Also tonight on NXT we will see tag team action as the team of Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel will take on the pairing of Kenny King and Drake Younger. The NXT Universe inside what is likely to be an almost sold out NXT Arena are surely going to be fully behind Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel in this one. Dallas and Gabriel both want a shot at the NXT Championship, currently held by Seth Rollins.

Kelly Kelly versus Rain

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly in action as she will take on Rain. The NXT Universe will likely be behind Kelly in this match.

Quick Picks:

Calvin Raines versus Curt Hawkins

Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel versus Kenny King and Drake Younger

Kelly Kelly versus Rain

WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,452 in Attendance)

Kelly Kelly versus Rain

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Rain in 7:47 by pinfall with a K2. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes introduces the television audience to this week’s edition of NXT as the sole commentator of NXT following the former announcers Byron Saxton and William Regal joining the main WWE roster earlier this year. Kelly Kelly, the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion, then makes her way to the ring to a tremendous reception from the NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena. Kelly’s opponent for this evening, Rain, then makes her way to the ring. Rain is clearly very arrogant as she struts to the ring and Dusty Rhodes notes on commentary that Rain has been known to be a bit of a bitch backstage. Kelly is very aggressive throughout this match with Dusty Rhodes noting that Kelly sees herself as somewhat of a Knockout Artist these days and will be looking for any opportunity to knock Rain out. Dusty Rhodes reminds the television audience from the commentary position that Kelly came to NXT several weeks ago following months of mistreatment from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Kelly said a few weeks ago that she was disappointed that she was never offered the opportunity to perform on Friday Night SmackDown by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T so instead has come to NXT to attempt to rejuvenate her career away from Vickie Guerrero and her backstage politics. Dusty Rhodes notes that Kelly has a lot of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe and Kelly looks very good in this match against Rain. Kelly made her debut on NXT four weeks ago in a losing effort against Christina Von Eerie. However, three weeks ago Kelly made her presence felt on NXT with a victory over the NXT mainstay Maxine. Two weeks ago Kelly and Maxine got into a heated confrontation that almost ended in a physical brawl until Justin Gabriel came to the ring to separate the Divas and maintain the peace. Just last week on NXT we saw Kelly backstage getting prepared for what we could only assume was a photo shoot when Maxine entered the room and launched a verbal tirade upon Kelly, calling her ugly. Rain then entered the room and allied herself with Maxine and the pair acted like, frankly, bitches towards Kelly firing several insults towards her. Rain made her NXT debut just two weeks ago in a losing effort against Hailey Hatred, also making her NXT debut. Rain went all out in an attempt to gain the all-important victory against Kelly tonight but ultimately it was the former Divas Champion Kelly who picked up the win in NXT’s opening contest.

Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find Justin Gabriel walking down the corridor, ready for his upcoming tag team match when he will team up with Bo Dallas to take on the team of Kenny King and Drake Younger. Justin Gabriel is however soon stopped in his tracks by Maxine. The sultry Maxine smiles at Justin Gabriel and tells him that she is very disappointed because for the last few years she has been stuck competing in front of the lousy NXT Universe inside the dreadful NXT Arena whereas Justin Gabriel was entertaining thousands of members of the WWE Universe with incredible high-flying performances on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Maxine complains that, for whatever reason, the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, has no respect for her. Maxine says that she is sure that Justin Gabriel will understand her as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T clearly have no respect for Justin Gabriel if he is lingering on NXT despite his clear, evidential talents. Maxine is clearly attempting to seduce Justin Gabriel for her own personal gains and gets closer and closer to him, with Justin Gabriel having a confused look on his face. Just as Maxine is a few inches from Justin Gabriel’s face the charismatic Xavier Woods walks onto the scene. Xavier Woods asks Maxine what she’s doing with a fan favourite, goodie two-shoes like Justin Gabriel when she should be with Xavier Woods, a self professed king of funk and more of a fun babyface. Justin Gabriel tells Xavier Woods not to worry, as personally he thinks Maxine is a bit of a bitch anyway. Justin Gabriel says that when he made his first appearance on NXT in over a year three weeks ago he made it clear that he was here for one thing, the NXT Championship. Justin Gabriel says that for some reason the NXT Champion Seth Rollins isn’t here tonight, and Gabriel suggest that the reason for Seth Rollins not being here may be that he is afraid of Justin Gabriel. The “Cape Town Werewolf” Justin Gabriel continues that when he made his first appearance on NXT three weeks ago he told Seth Rollins to his face that he is coming for the NXT Championship. Xavier Woods says that he is also not the biggest fan of Seth Rollins after the NXT Champion walked out on Xavier Woods on two separate occasions recently when the pair were tag team partners. Maxine looks bored by the conversation and walks off, whilst Xavier Woods allows Justin Gabriel to continue to head towards the ring for his tag team match, which is next.

Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel versus Kenny King and Drake Younger

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Bo Dallas and Justin Gabriel defeated Kenny King and Drake Younger in 8:04 by pinfall when Bo Dallas pinned Drake Younger with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Following a commercial break the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes introduces the television audience back for this tag team match which sees Dallas and Gabriel defeat King and Younger.

Calvin Raines versus Curt Hawkins

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated Calvin Raines in 8:05 by pinfall with a Heat Seeking Elbow drop. The NXT Universe were not too amused by this main event.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Rey Mysterio versus Jinder Mahal

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see the ever popular and high-flying Sin Cara in singles competition as he will take on Jinder Mahal. From India, Jinder Mahal is of course one third of the three man band known as 3MB along with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre so the WWE Universe will likely be expecting Slater and McIntyre to be not far behind Jinder Mahal tonight and may make an appearance at ringside in the main event of WWE Superstars. Rey Mysterio, always popular among the WWE Universe, will have the backing of the fans in attendance tonight as he looks to pick up the all-important victory. In recent months Rey Mysterio has been teaming up with the Mexican sensation Sin Cara on several occasions and Rey seems to see himself as somewhat of a mentor to Sin Cara. However, for the past few weeks on WWE Superstars Mysterio has been competing in singles action. Assuming that the tag team of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara is still active, a win for Mysterio tonight on WWE Superstars could well gain the attentions of either the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn Mysterio and Sin Cara an opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future. The WWE Tag Team Championships are currently held by the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal although Regal suffered a hernia a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW and will be out of action for a few months. When Regal returns to action Reigns and Regal must put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line for the very first time against the Rhodes Dynasty pairing of Cody Rhodes and Goldust, who defeated Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, the Prime Time Players, in a Tornado tag team match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View last month to become the Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships. Despite being in the WWE for a few years now, Jinder Mahal is still yet to win his first Championship. On the other hand, Mahal’s opponent tonight, Rey Mysterio, is a very decorated and accomplished Superstar and his resume includes a Royal Rumble win back in 2006, with Mysterio entering the match as the second entrant and lasting for over an hour, a Royal Rumble match record, before winning the match and going on to become the new World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time at Wrestlemania 22. Rey Mysterio would then win the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in the summer of 2010. Rey Mysterio is also a former WWE Champion having won the title back in the summer of 2011; however he only held it for one evening, losing the title again on the same night. Additionally, Rey Mysterio is a former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former four-time WWE Tag Team Champion, holding the titles with four different partners, and two of them being WWE Hall of Famers in the late, great Eddie Guerrero and Edge. The other two Superstars that Rey held the WWE Tag Team Championships were are Rob Van Dam and Batista. Mysterio was also a former eight-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion before the title was retired back in 2007. This will be the second time this year that Rey Mysterio and Jinder Mahal have faced one another in the main event of WWE Superstars after Mysterio defeated Mahal in the main event of an episode of WWE Superstars back in January.

Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Prime Time Players

It was announced this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that at the upcoming WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil will once again take on the Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships, the Rhodes Dynasty of Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Tonight on WWE Superstars the Prime Time Players will get some match practice as they take on the team of Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, who have been lovingly dubbed by the WWE Universe the “Oriental Dragons”. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, along with their manager Abraham Washington, must realise that they have been given a big opportunity by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T to get the chance to face the Rhodes Dynasty on Pay-Per-View for the second month in a row. An upset victory for Steamboat and Nakajima tonight could well upset the momentum of the Prime Time Players as well as potentially gain the attentions of WWE Management such as SmackDown General Manager Booker T and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Richie Steamboat, the son of the WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, spent the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes must have seen something special in Steamboat in order for the young dragon to earn the call-up to the main WWE roster, where he began a tag team with the Japanese Superstar from the Orient Fatsuhiko Nakajima.

Audrey Marie versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the self-professed “Original Diva” Audrey Marie take on the “Anti-Diva” Paige. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Kaitlyn will once again put her Divas Championship on the line against Tamina. A victory for either Audrey Marie or Paige tonight may not only impress the WWE Universe in attendance but also gain the attentions of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn them a future shot at the Divas Championship.

WWE Superstars (Live from TCC Music Hall (AZ), 2,289 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Tamina

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Tamina defeated Alicia Fox in 17:52 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. Hornswoggle accompanied the former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox to ringside for this match, to the delight of many members of the WWE Universe in attendance, especially the young children.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Hunico and Camacho

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Hunico & Camacho defeated Trent & Yoshi in 18:26 when Hunico defeated Yoshi Tatsu by submission with an El Incognito Especial. Unfortunately this tag team match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe not having a particular reason to care about either team.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Marcus Owens versus Rene Dupree

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, René Duprée defeated Marcus Owens in 18:17 by submission with a Cobra Clutch. Marcus Owens was visibly tiring towards the end of this match.

Richie Steamboat and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Prime Time Players defeated The Oriental Dragons in 7:31 when Titus O'Neil defeated Fatsuhiko Nakajima by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. The Godfather accompanied the Oriental Dragons pairing of Steamboat and Nakajima to ringside for this match and offered vocal support throughout the match but ultimately it was the Prime Time Players, Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, who picked up the all-important victory here after Titus O’Neil pinned Nakajima.

Match Rating: D

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk proclaimed that the only reason Kane is challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View is the same reason that Daniel Bryan, Kane’s Team Hell No tag team partner, got a shot against Punk in a Falls Count Anywhere match at last month’s Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, and that is because of AJ Lee and her relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Nevertheless, Punk claimed that he will defeat Kane at Over the Limit just as he defeated Daniel Bryan at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View and again in non-title action in last week’s non-title RAW main event. Punk said that in this week’s tag team main event he and Brock Lesnar would defeat Team Hell No and soon Kane and Bryan will be sent back to Friday Night SmackDown where they belong. Another of Paul Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, then joined CM Punk in the ring and announced that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View he will be facing Chris Jericho. Lesnar noted how he defeated John Cena so thoroughly in their Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules that Cena has now taken his toys and gone to play on SmackDown, where Lesnar says he has unfairly been given an immediate shot at the World title by the inept SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Punk and Lesnar then left the ring together and headed to the back. In RAW’s tag team main event CM Punk and Brock Lesnar defeated Team Hell No.

Audrey Marie versus Paige

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Paige defeated Audrey Marie in 3:28 by submission. Alicia Fox accompanied the “Original Diva” Audrey Marie to ringside for this one but ultimately it was the “Anti-Diva” Paige that picked up the win.

Match Rating: E-

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs highlights from last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with John Cena making his first appearance on SmackDown in over eight months, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. Cena said that he has moved to SmackDown due to the mismanagement and bias shown on Monday Night RAW from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and her apparent assistant AJ Lee. Cena said that he was given a beating by Brock Lesnar in their Last Man Standing match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View but now he is looking forward. Cena announced that the SmackDown General Manager Booker T had informed him that at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Cena will challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship. Ricardo Rodriguez, Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, then came to the ring and said that he and Del Rio were still on great terms despite Del Rio leaving Rodriguez to suffer a Sharpshooter at the hands of Bret Hart at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Rodriguez would then distract John Cena for long enough that Mark Henry could come to the ring and hit Cena with the World’s Strongest Slam. Alberto Del Rio would then come to the entrance-way smiling and handed Mark Henry an envelope likely containing money for the attack on Cena. Ricardo Rodriguez, Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry would then head to the back leaving Cena in pain in the ring. In Friday Night SmackDown’s non-title main event Alberto Del Rio managed to defeat the former World Heavyweight Champion Christian. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s SmackDown tag team match of Alberto Del Rio teaming with Mark Henry to take on the team of John Cena and Dolph Ziggler.

Rating: B-

Rey Mysterio versus Jinder Mahal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rey Mysterio defeated Jinder Mahal in 7:45 by pinfall with a 619 into a Seated Senton. Rey Mysterio is improving in Performance skills.

Match Rating: C+

Post-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Kenneth Cameron

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Kenneth Cameron in 13:01 by submission. The Godfather accompanied Rusev to the ring.

Match Rating: F-

Post-Show: Braden Walker versus Leo Kruger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Leo Kruger defeated Braden Walker in 13:27 by pinfall. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.
