RULES

  1. Credit goes to The Curator/mistaken and The Final Countdown for the layout here.

  2. You have 3 votes to nominate , 1 for each category

  3. All non-Cornellverse diaries (both real world and fantasy) have been combined into a 'Mod' category.

  4. You may substitute your C-Verse nomination for a 2nd Mod nomination, or vice versa.

  5. Please place a link to the diary you are nominating.

  6. In the Monthly Spotlight category, you will single out a specific aspect of a diary that particularly impressed you over the course of the month, be it a match, show, angle, storyline, development of a character, etc.

  7. You may not nominate yourself

  8. All nominations must include a reason

  9. Nominations do NOT need a second. So, once a diary has been nominated PLEASE do NOT nominate it again!

  10. No Rookie DOTM this month so everyone qualifies for Cornellverse/Mod DOTM as long as there is one show in the current month.

Everything about the presentation is awesome. And The Doctor backs up the presentation with good shows and interesting news articles complete with the occasional witty dummy link to another article.</p><p> </p><p>

As for Monthly Spotlight, I'm going with heel Lobster Warrior's debut on Jingo's <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1938277&postcount=322" rel="external nofollow">21CW: The Hottest (and only) Ticket in Town</a>. I'll admit I haven't been checking out his diary much as I'm not so much into the British promotions, but the surprise reveal of a familiar character in an unfamiliar guise (Lobby being a kid-friendly babyface on most diaries) drew me in. Rest assured I'll be keeping tabs on this diary in the weeks to come.</p>

Got turned onto this thread via The Lloyd's WWE thread and it's a fun collaboration with the two threads together. It's going to be interesting to see how Ritchardo competes with the WWE by The Lloyd</p><p> </p><p>

I also nominate Phantom Stranger's <a href=http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=524659 target="_blank">[C-Verse 97] [HGC/DaVE] Everybody Knows </a> for Cornell DOTM.</p><p> </p><p>

I usually don't read C-Verse (not because they're bad or anything, just generally not my cup of tea) but I just loved the start of it and I found myself just following along</p>

Reasoning: Does there even need to be a reason? This is the best SWF diary since Bigpapa42 and James Casey. Eisen-verse can make you care as much about the Underground B-Show as you do about the SWF Supreme TV. Lobster Warrior lost his 'career' this month and makes me wonder where he is going to be going with that. The first promo for the Trinity looks amazing. Is there anything else needed?</p>

Okay, I'm finally going to get around to this. My first diary nom will go to WWE 2004: The Hangover by RKOwnage, now that he's posting consistently again his shows have done quite well, with a No Way Out card which gives a great build toward Wrestlemania.

 

For my second, I know it probably won't get many votes but I'm going to try and raise awareness for LordJaguar's World Wrestling Association - National or Bust! I haven't even left him much love in the thread yet, but reading it the other day, I thought it was a pretty good show. Refreshing to see a different style, while still being one that fits well, as well as seeing something RW that isn't one of the big feds.

 

For monthly spotlight, I'm going to go with the aforementioned No Way Out from WWE 2004: The Hangover. For reasons already stated, though I'll add that the World title match was really written well.
