Iceisle Skin

Recommended Posts

If you've used my identically-named WMMA3 skin (all this time and I still couldn't think of a good name for a skin :p) then this one should be sort of familiar. Let me know what you think. Also, please post any mistakes you find, no matter how minor.

It comes in blue and red.

DOWNLOAD:

Blue: [Link]

Red: [Link]

I'll probably release a few more versions in other colors (or greyscale) at some point.

Examples:

And a quick look at the red version:

The title screen is intentionally simple and plain, because I just prefer it that way. There are a couple of alternates included (one of which features jtlant's Emma Chase re-render), but they're nothing special either. However, I intend to add more later, and I'll be sure to make some that are more interesting.

This is lovely, Iceisle. I think the red's gonna be my new default going forward. Would love to see more color variants.

EDIT - In regards to pointing out errors regardless of how small they are, maybe tweak the size of the box that holds belt graphics on the championship screen? The little gap at the bottom (and the smaller one at the top) makes things look kind of wonky. I know it's an incredibly small thing but this skin is so good that there really don't seem to be any big things to focus on.

To clarify, this is what I'm referring to:

Downloaded them both.

Will be using the Red for RAW, and the blue for SmackDown <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Thanks, everyone. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

EDIT - In regards to pointing out errors regardless of how small they are, maybe tweak the size of the box that holds belt graphics on the championship screen? I mostly play with the C-Verse, and those pages looked okay with the standard TEW belt background. That area does look a bit off when it's something darker.

Anyway, it's fixed and the files are updated. Here are the backgrounds for those who already downloaded the skins:

Blue:

[belts.jpg]

[fed_belts.jpg]

[purchase_belt.jpg]

Red:

[belts.jpg]

[fed_belts.jpg]

[purchase_belt.jpg]

I also fixed another mistake on the 'purchase_belt' page. The inactive 'Defences' button on the background was a few pixels off to the left.

By the way, I lowered the image quality (from 12/12 to 10/12) on the 'Backgrounds' folders to reduce file size. I can't see any difference between the two levels (Photoshop considers both to be 'maximum' quality), and it should make the skin easier to download for anyone with a slow connection. If anyone can see a difference, please let me know so I can stop doing that.

Do we just save them as belts.jpg, like whatever the hotlink is named?

The actual image files have scrambled names.

Yeah, you just overwrite the 'belts', 'fed_belts' and 'purchase_belt' files in your backgrounds folder. Sorry, I should have been more clear. Doesn't help that you can't see the underscore in a hotlink. :D

Cubeupload will actually maintain filenames if you sign up, but when I did that it seemed like there was a 50 image maximum per account, which is weird. I just like them because they don't reduce image quality. Imgur and Photobucket always do that to me.

That's one of the only graphics I didn't touch, and though I included it in the original upload, when I updated the file earlier I forgot to include the graphics that I didn't replace. I'm hoping that was the problem.

There are a few others missing that are very important, so anyone who doesn't have them, just copy the 'Graphics' folder from the default skin and paste it in mine. Don't let it overwrite anything, and you should be good to go. You should have 271 files in the graphics folder, I think.

I'm fixing and re-uploading now. Thanks for catching that.

EDIT: Okay, both versions have been re-uploaded with the graphic files that were missing. I took down the link that included both folders in one file, because it was going to take me twice as long to upload the files every time I update something. MediaFire doesn't make you wait between downloads anyway, so it's only a minor inconvenience for those who want both versions.

Here are those updated control room icons. They definitely stand out now. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

[Link] - Save as control_decisions.jpg

[Link] - Save as control_diary.jpg

[Link] - Save as control_mail.jpg

They go in the Graphics folder. As before, there's no blue or red when they're highlighted, so you can use the links above for both versions.

I also made an adjustment to the pre-show overview page. It looked pretty bad whenever locker room incidents showed up. These go in the Backgrounds folder.

Blue: [Link] - Save as show_overview.jpg

Red: [Link] - Save as show_overview.jpg

The files have been updated with these changes.

EDIT: Didn't want to double post for this. The boxes on the event scheduling background were one pixel off to the right. I'm updating the files again right now.

Blue: [Link] - Save as schedule_event.jpg

Red: [Link] - Save as schedule_event.jpg

I usually keep track pretty good after that.
