I am taking over as head coach of the SDSU Aztecs. The former head coach left for greener pastures after a 7-5 season that was capped off by a bowl win over Oregon State.

SDSU returns 6 starters from a offense that ranked 45th in the country in total yards. Two 1st Team All-Conf. players return in OT Garcia, and FB Boyd.

SDSU return 6 starters on defense as well. The defense ranked 82nd in total defense last year. Also, returning is 1st Team All-Conf. LB Boyd.

SDSU is currently at 36 on prestige.

Next up is recruiting.

rough first season for sure!

hope your coaching staff is good at developing these 1 and 2 star linemen that signed on, otherwise they need to be recruited over next year.

At least you got some good playmakers (WR and RB) and I'm betting the new MLB Hendrickson will be leading the defense in tackles for the next 4 years.

Good luck and let's get to a bowl this year!
