olympia
your recruiting classes seem to usually be in the top 3. Are your asst coaches not working to develop the players? Is there a possibility to upgrade there to get better coaching and game planners?

It may be hard to catch Utah and TCU at the top in the short term, but I think you can pass BYU and be a solid 3rd place team. Need to pull an upset every year and take care of business against the lesser teams.

May not have been a bed of roses, but I still like the choice of staying in San Diego over moving to Illinois.

I like a good game planner (in my mind anyway, I think it can make the difference against better teams) and better player developers. I know I'm not going to recruit many 4 stars, so I need to coach my 3 (and 2) star players up. GO out on the market and see what's available. You might be able to upgrade at the same (or often even lower) salary that the current guy. Even paying a little extra can pay off in the long run.

my 2 cents
