“The Bulgarian Brute” enjoyed another successful year in NXT, particularly gathering pace towards the end of 2014. A series of impressive victories put him in place for a shot at the NXT Title, and when he beat both Bo Dallas and Adrian Neville in a 3 way match he got his shot on the last show of 2014. She did get some spotlight of her own later in the year, entering the NXT Women’s Championship tournament, where she was knocked out by eventual winner Emma. After a disappointing start to 2014, Angelo Dawkins decided a change was in order. Following a short hiatus, he returned with much greater ambition. This change in attitude unfortunately failed to get the desired results and he is possibly further than ever from his desired shot at the NXT Championship. This hasn’t scuppered his spirits and Dawkins remains a firm believer in “the power of positive thinking.” These beliefs also include a pre-match ritual, in which he waits until he reaches the ring to tie his boot laces. Konnor & Viktor started 2014 as Tag Team Champions. Following a good run with the Titles, they were eventually beaten by Oliver Grey & Adrian Neville. This led to tension between the pair, going as far as seeing them face off in one-on-one action. Thrown in at the deep-end as a singles competitor following Amore’s injury, early 2014 perhaps saw Cassidy underachieve for a man of his size and strength. However, when Amore returned to direct Cassady he vastly improved, so much so that Enzo Amore decided they could take a run at the Tag Team Championships. Mojo particularly impressed during the summer claiming to have “found his Mojo”. Arguably NXT’s MVP of 2014, Sami Zayn rose the ranks as one of the most popular members of the roster. Despite this, then-NXT GM Kane felt Zayn lacked what would take him to the next level. Kane would go on to put Zayn through a number of trials and challenges over the next few months, designed to find his “mean streak”. Despite Zayn staying true to himself, when he beat Colin Cassady and Axl Keegan on the same night Kane’s hand was forced. In late Summer, Sami Zayn got his chance and pinned Bo Dallas to become the new NXT Champion. Over the past year, Jason Jordan has developed a very bad habit for interrupting people. For whatever reason, he often struggles to wait for his screen time and so comes out during interviews with other roster members, or even during promos. When Oliver Grey returned on NXT’s first show of 2014, he quickly reformed his “British Ambition” tag team with partner Adrian Neville. The team were extremely successful, winning the Tag Team Championship from The Ascension after Neville earned the shot by pinning Viktor. They eventually lost the Titles to Amore & Cassady, and Neville recently turned his attention to the NXT Championship, possibly spelling the end for the team. In March 2014, Raquel returned to NXT TV, putting the Diva’s Division on note with a series of impressive victories. She soon developed a mean streak, drawing an “L” on the forehead of whoever she beat. When she attacked NXT Women’s Champion Paige on her last night on the show, her punishment was her removal from the Title Tournament. After this she showed a new side of herself, often using her mother Vickie Guerrero’s influence on the main roster to gain favours in WWE NXT. This came to a head in October, when Vickie appeared on NXT demanding that her daughter got a shot at Emma’s Championship. Although he missed much of it, Devlin was one of the fastest rising NXT stars of 2014. Judas’ return saw him attack CJ Parker and leave him out cold in the ring. He went on, through a series of mysterious promos to claim he was working under the power of something “greater” than himself. During 2014, CJ Parker has found himself on the receiving end of some brutal beatings. Following attacks from the likes Rusev, Devlin and The Ascension, one thing shined through - Parker’s resilience. Never one to accept defeat he has made a habit of picking himself up, dusting himself off and welcoming the next challenge with open arms. It has its setbacks but it means we can more realistically replicate how people move up and down. Say people like Cesaro who are on RAW but often turn up on NXT, if he was his own promotion that would just be impossible.</p>

Thats what I get for not paying attention to the dirt sheets lately. Man she was playing the BFF gimmick before there was a stable she could probably start out as a face feuding with them and then do the heel turn do the heel turn by showing them that she is more....bff then they are.

Solomone Crowe
One of the strangest debuts in WWE history took place this year, as “The Hacker” Solomone Crowe debuted in March. As Adrian Neville stood in the ring awaiting the results of a WWE App poll, there was a seeming glitch in the system as the results read 100%... to a man who wasn’t in the poll in the first place. Crowe made an impressive debut, beating the Englishman and went on to use his skills to great use. His most notable match came after he had tormented Sami Zayn for a number of weeks. This included stopping his music, replacing his entrance video to include his worst moments and causing a black-out during one of his matches. This eventually led to an NXT Championship shot, which resulted in his first loss in NXT. Crowe promises to “take control of the WWE” in 2015, and it’s clear he is more than capable.

this is unique and kind of reminds me of the Y2J debut in a way. This should be a real gimmick because i can see how this would actually work
