Eric Young Vs Rhino ©

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Rhino defeated Eric Young in 8:11 by pinfall with a Gore. Rhino makes defence number 1 of his TNA World Television title.

Bobby Roode comes out to the ring as he once again challenges the General Manager Hulk Hogan to a match. Hulk's music hits but upon closer inspection the opponent appears to be Christopher Daniels dressed as Hulk from the 80s. Roode and "Hulk" square off and Daniels even rips his shirt off and flexes but a single clothesline takes the hulkster down. Roode puts his foot on Daniel's chest and counts to three before helping him up. The pair share a laugh before leaving to the back.

Tara Vs Traci Brooks

In an extremely short match, Tara defeated Traci Brooks in 4:49 by pinfall with a Widow's Peak.

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Jay Lethal defeated Kevin Steen in 8:30 by pinfall with a Lethal Combination.

James Storm pulls Mr. Anderson aside backstage, he still seems angry over what Anderson said last week and says that if Ken is so certain that he's better that he should face him in a fair fight. Anderson accepts the challenge and says he looks forward to beating him.

A man can be seen walking through the TNA offices from behind, he can be heard remarking "didn't the ring used to have a few more sides?" before the video cuts out and the words "Captain Charisma returns next week" appears on the screen.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Bad Influence defeated Abyss and Eric Young in 15:18 when Christopher Daniels defeated Abyss by pinfall with a B.M.E.. Bad Influence make defence number 2 of their TNA World Tag Team titles.

AJ Styles invites Cody Rhodes down to the ring and promises him that this match will turn out exactly the same as their last one, with Rhodes lying unconcious as the referee declares AJ to be the winner. Rhodes argues that last time he was new to TNA and hadn't yet learned how to adapt, this time the results will be different. As the two argue however a countdown starts on the video screen before "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage walks down the ramp. Rhodes and Styles both look like they've seen a ghost and Christian informs them that as his first pay per view since returning to the company he's been granted the honour of being the guest referee for the World Championship title match at Destination X.

A video plays hyping up the match between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles, playing pieces from their last confrontation including the gore by Rhino that cost Rhodes the title. Christian is also featured heavily in the package as it plays up his determination to prevent a repeat of last time.

Bobby Roode kicks off iMPACT! by talking to the crowd in attendance about what an accomplishment it is to beat Hulk Hogan, he claims that he has accomplished what Roddy Piper, Ted Dibiase, Macho Man and even Andre the Giant couldn't do. He says that he has proved to not only be the best in TNA but he is a new breed of competitor. Austin Aries interrupts Roode and makes his entrance, he tells Bobby that he agrees that competition has never been better in the wrestling world but beating a 59 year old man proves nothing. He says if Roode wants to prove he has what it takes he has to face off against The Greatest Man that ever lived.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Chris Sabin defeated Kevin Steen in 8:29 by pinfall with a Cradle Shock.

Brian Kendrick is seen wandering around backstage seemingly even more unbalanced by his defeat to Austin Aries. He is slowly pounding his head on the wall, seemingly unphased by the blows. James Storm notices this and tries to help Kendrick who strikes Storm in the side of the head with an elbow before yelling about "everyone trying to ruin him" before running off.

AJ Styles bursts into Eric Bischoff's office and says that with Hogan out of commission following Roode's beatdown that makes Eric the closet thing to a GM. Styles says that since Eric is in charge now he'd like to invoke his rematch against Rhodes at Hardcore Justice. Eric says he'll take it under consideration and tells AJ to knock next time before entering.

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Kevin Steen and Zema Ion in 8:07 when Chris Sabin defeated Zema Ion by pinfall with a Made in Detroit.

Cody Rhodes is seen backstage with his World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder as he runs into James Storm. Storm mentions to Cody that he thinks Kendrick's lost his mind and explains what he saw last week, Cody seems disturbed but mentions that losing Maryse, the X-Division title and his shot at the World title could be the cause of everything. Storm agrees and says that that lunatic had better not cross his path again.

Aries explains that Roode acts like he's the biggest thing to happen to wrestling since he beat Hogan and that its time for him to have an attitude adjustment. In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, AJ Styles defeated Bully Ray in 14:32 by pinfall with a Styles Clash following interference from Rhino.

Eric comes out after AJ's match and tells him that he's come to a decision. At Hardcore Justice the main event will be AJ Styles against Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship.... However it will be in a three way match, also featuring "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage.

There's no reason Cody should lose the belt here, he's only just won it. Not unless there's gonna be a RUSSO SWERVE with Christian joining The Fifth Column... but somehow I don't see that happening because Christian vs AJ Styles is too good a match to pass up.

I've chose Cody Rhodes to retain which means he's gonna need some fresh challengers. I think Bobby Roode fits that bill whilst Aries can renew his rivalry with Kendrick.

This should be an incredible match. It's hard to choose but I'm gonna go with MCMG just because that will shake your tag scene up a little.

Cage Match:

James Storm Vs "The Lunatic" Brian Kendrick

Kendrick has clearly made quite an impact in your company. If you're gonna go the whole nine yards with him going round the bend, he needs to win this one.

Handicap Match:

The Wolves Vs Samoa Joe

2 on 1? More like 5 on 1. Rhino, Devitt and Steen won't just twiddle their thumbs and watch The Wolves get beat.

X-Division Championship Match:

Dinero won the last feud between the two 2-1. Lethal gets some payback here.

Bully Ray hosts a bikini contest in the ring featuring three of the knockouts, Velvet Sky, Brooke Tessmacher and Maryse. After all three of them show off their outfits Velvet is picked as the winner by the fans. Brooke seems to take the loss well but Maryse storms off.

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Bobby Roode defeated Austin Aries in 21:51 by pinfall with a roll up.

Rating: 78

Roode, unhappy with barely squeaking out a win during the match looks to prove his dominance as he rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. Aries however isn't worn down enough to just wait for Roode to return and grabs the chair when it's placed on the apron. Sliding under the ropes he thanks Bobby for his gift as he cracks him over the head with it before dropping it to the ground and giving Roode a brainbuster onto the chair.

Three way match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship:

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Christian Cage defeated AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes in 24:35 when Christian Cage defeated AJ Styles by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage. During the match we also had Rhino run in and attack Cody Rhodes. Christian Cage wins the TNA World Heavyweight title.

Rating: 82

The end of the match is total chaos as Rhino interferes in the match and gores Rhodes, leaving him down for the count. Before Styles can take advantage however Christian attacks him and hits AJ with the killswitch. Rhino seems ready to break up the pin but just stands back as Christian uses the ropes for extra leverage to ensure his victory.

After the match Christian Cage takes his title and celebrates as Styles angrily yells at Rhino for not taking out Cage as well. In response Rhino gives AJ a vicious gore. Christian gives his old friend a hug as the Fifth Column comes down to the ring, upon seeing the arrival of the Wolves, Steen and Devitt, Christian and Rhino retreat hastily.
