That is a question four members of the same family ask. How does one build a LEGACY? Shane McMahon a third generation booker and promoter wants a LEGACY. Vince McMahon a second generation booker and promoter and the owner of the powerhouse World Wrestling Entertainment wants a LEGACY. Stephanie McMahon a third generation booker and promoter wants a LEGACY. Paul Levesque one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time wants a LEGACY. What if I said only one will achieve this, how does it happen? Picture this image. It is a chaotic night in Madison Square Garden on Monday Night RAW a blurred image of a celebration as Paul Levesque lifts the hand of a young man who successfully wins the TNA Heavyweight Championship, both men establishing a LEGACY. A lot can be said for image like that and most fans would ask how? How did wrestling reach this point? That’s where the WWE Network comes in as it follows the LEGACY of three generations of wrestling and two generations of McMahon. The Golden Era The Attitude Era The Reality Era By the end of this story, the image will become clearer. As for now watch as the most prestigious family in wrestling wage war, as we answer the questions that matter the most. Who triumphs? Who fails? Who builds a LEGACY? Let me start of by saying what happened to Smackdown vs RAW. I was two matches away from finishing writing Money in the Bank when I lost a lot of my saves from TEW. This sucked all the motivation out of my system and it would of been impossible to continue so it is dead. Every Diary writer faces the problem of motivation. This normally comes when you lose interest in the mod or era you chose to write about. However I have fixed this! This is the hardest diary I have ever attempted to write as it will focus on three eras, The Golden Era, The Attitude Era and the The Reality Era. The three dates are 1987, 1997 and 2009. I imagine this way if I lose focus on one era I can move onto another era. Obviously this can create confusion, the way I will swerve this is that every month (Game-Time) I will switch era. The idea is that the current era is 2009 but with Network released the audience can watch old eras and perhaps other promotions. Let me state this now. This is a parallel universe and some things that happened in real life may not of happened in this universe. I have had this idea floating around my head before I joined the forums. Over three decades there is one overall story that crosses a lot of promotions. What that story is and how it starts will be explained as more and more shows get posted. Most of you will realize the story is around the McMahons family. I love the 2009 era and look forward to putting my own spin on it. Regal smirks at the crowd as he gets in the ring surrounded by the two huge giants next to him. He grabs a microphone and talks about how he is here on RAW to acquire two more talents for his Survivor-Series team. He says that he is looking for people that are just as ruthless as him. He then goes on to talk about Christian. He says that he is more respected in locker rooms than Christian and he looks forward to beating Christians face in three weeks. William Regal: I am Royality in this ring Christian and you, like the these people in this arena are nothing but a commoner. He gets out of the ring and sits with Cole and King, Vladmir and Jackson stand by him as Regal insults Cole for looking like an off scone. Evan makes a comeback with a great display of aerial display. Evan goes to the top rope and Chavo kicks the referee into the ropes knocking Evan off his mark landing hard on the corner. Micheal Cole: What blatant cheating! William Regal: That right there is experience Cole, experience. Chavo lifts him up for a suplex and proceeds to hit three in a row. Guerrero pins Bourne for the win. The Big Show realizes that Jericho knew he was coming and starts to get agitated but Jericho reassures him that an alliance with the Miz would be beneficial for everyone. The Big Show: The alliance sounds good but if this doesn't work out it is your fault Miz. They all shake hands and kick the camera guy out as they start to discuss game plans. Notes: Miz was getting heated when I told him he was scripted so I took everyone of the script. Jericho used this masterfully but Miz and Big Show didn't so much. He says he wants to address Survivor-Series and who John Cena will be facing, he says that next week there will be a Fatal Fourway match that will include Triple H, Randy Orton, Shawn Micheals and Kofi Kingston. Rhodes and Cena start it off and the two swap impress moves. Rhodes gets the advantage and he and Orton have quick tags and a variety of double team moves. Ted ringside looks jealous as he isn’t in the match but Rhodes is. Rhodes crucially loses grip on a hold of Cena and the champ takes advantage with a German-Suplex. Both men down they crawl to separate corners and hot tag in their partners. Kofi and Orton rush ahead and Kofi takes advantage with dropkick after dropkick. With Orton down he runs the ropes to try to hit Boom Drop but Ted grabs his feet long enough for Kofi not to see Orton who gives Kofi and RKO! Orton pins Kofi for the win. Winners: Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton Post-Match Legacy celebrate before being interrupted by Cena and they start to brawl. Kofi joins the frey and Cena hits a AA on Ted and then another on Rhodes. Black offers a way out suggesting that if Heyman doesn’t want another ‘Punk’ situation he should make it a triple threat and place him in the match. Heyman likes the idea and adds to it by making it a No-Disqualification match and looks at Moxley and Anoa’I saying that better make sure that Black walks out as champion. Paul Heyman: If Aries or Strong think they are leaving tonight with my belt then they are wrong. Tonight begins a new era for Ring of Honor. Now go get ready. As the crowd throw ribbons into the ring Matt Jackson starts the match of with a superkick to Eddie Edwards and the crowd is shocked. Edwards goes crashing down to the mat before being lifting by Matt and place on the corner. Matt points at Edwards and then points at Generico who runs and delivers a Helluva Kick to Edwards. Edwards stumbles forward and Jay kicks his gut before delivering a Jay Driller. Jay rolls Edwards out of the ring and this match has quickly become a triple threat. All three men battle it out over the next few minutes with a great combination of three man moves. Genrico is brought outside of the ring by Edwards who throws him over the railing into the fans. Matt and Jay are still battling in the ring when Matt goes for a crossbody but is caught by Jay who sends him down with a backbreaker. Edwards climbs the top rope behind Jay and gives him a dropkick. Edwards raises his hands waiting for Jay to get back up. Jay gets up and Edwards drops him down into a single leg Boston crab. Jay struggles not to tap but the move is interrupted when El Genrico gives Edwards a snap DDT. Genrico goes to pick Edwards up but Jay turns him around pulling the mask over his eyes and hitting a Jay Driller (Piledriver) for the win. The first is that Strong or Aries didn’t know he would be involved in the match and couldn’t prepare for his inclusion. The second is that it is No Disqualification meaning Blacks brothers in the Rising could get involved at the request of Heyman. Heyman has a lot riding in this match as he has put all his cards in Black in the hopes of stoping either Aries or Strong leaving the company with the title. Rumors around the wrestling world are running wild predicting that a top star from ROH have signed a lengthy deal with WWE, Heyman suspects Aries or maybe Strong. This match in the eyes of the fans was beautiful as all three men show their wonderful offence. Aries has a clear advantage as he uses heel moves to get ahead of the babyface Strong and the other heel Black. Strong re-enters the match to the ovation of the fans by taking out the rookies Moxely and Anoa’I with a double shoulder block. Strong lifts Aries on his feet lifting him up on his shoulders attempting to hit a Death by Roderick but Black re-enters the ring himself and superkicks Strong dropping Aries. With Strong out Black hits a Curb Stomp to Aries and pins him for the ROH World Title. Heyman enters the ring and smiles and looks up at Shane McMahon who is on the top of the ramp. Heyman goes for a hug with Black and the two embrace. Black has been waiting for this moment for years the four of them celebrate with the fans before Anoa’I gives Black a microphone. The heel is embraced by the ROH fans who know how much that this means to him. Black goes on to retell his story with ROH starting off in the Dojo before Heyman raised him as his protégé. He goes on to tell the story that Heyman bought Black his first car so he could make it to a show in Chicago. He then goes on to tell about the team he and Jacobs formed before becoming a single superstar and bringing in Moxley and Anoa’I to form The Rising. He thens talks about the rumors of Aries or Strong leaving the company for the WWE. Tyler Black: Everyone for months has been wondering who the top star of Ring of Honor that is leaving the company for WWE is. Paul that guy is me, Tyler Black. Heyman is shocked and drops to his knees as the ROH fans chant Holy Shit Holy Shit. Tyler Black: **** this company Paul, **** Ring of Honor, **** these fans, and **** you Paul. I AM TYLER BLACK. WE ARE THE RISING AND WE ARE LEAVING FOR THE W W E!!! With the crowd booing, Black throws the microphone at Heyman before dropping the title on the ground and stomping on it then leaving the ring with his buddies. The almost crying Heyman grabs the microphone. Paul Heyman: SHANE MCMAHON I DON’T WHAT YOUR PLAN IS BUT I ACCPET, THIS DAY MOVING FORWARD PAUL HEYMAN AND SHANE MCMAHON WORK TOGETHOR. WWE WILL DIE. Next week RAW is going to be fun. Damn, I'm loving this...your write up makes me want to use Tahoma for my shows as well, and you did a great work with the graphics. Hey its great you are on board, Tahoma is awesome. Its good you like the graphics, its hard to have good ones without Photoshop. Excellent first show buddy! I really liked seeing Regal on the recruitment drive for his team, and JeriShowMiz should be interesting... Intrigued that you have a storyline for ROH's show... I like all 8 of these guys!!! Very impressed by your ROH show... Interesting that 'The Rising' did that to Heyman... I'm intrigued by the relationship between WWE and ROH...
