It seems like yesterday that everyone was watching our program. We had the hip youth lining the streets wearing H̶u̶l̶k̶ ̶H̶o̶g̶a̶n̶ J̶i̶m̶m̶y̶ ̶S̶n̶u̶k̶a̶ Ric Flair shirts and waving their pudgy little fists in the air screaming to get into the arena. Now everyone's busy watching That 70's Show or whatever. Get off my back goddammit I haven't seen anything without our logo in the last thirty years. Anyway, my son in law tells me that we have something called an internet now and that we have a network on there. Well it's not making enough money for my liking so I've decided to okay occasional releases of hallucinogenic gasses into the writers office. We may get some health and safety ninnies on our backs but I used to spray Savage and Warrior with that stuff all the time in the 80's and 90's and I think it only made the product better dammit! Are you going to question me? I'm Vincent Kennedy McMahon! I'm the King of Sports Entertainment! I have a goddamn T-Rex skull sitting on my wall. I'll listen to your stupid ideas when you have a giant skull in your office. Enjoy the show and buy some subscriptions and T-shirts already. After a bit of a break I've decided to continue on with the work I've done in my previous diary "WWE 2014: What did I just watch?". It will be the same style of writing and I can only pray it'll be up to the same standard. I'll be carrying on a few favourite storylines or gimmicks from my past diary (Feel free to comment and push for your favourites) however most will be left behind in order to keep it fresh. Don't worry if you haven't read the old one, I won't assume anyone knows what is going on, a knowledge of the WWE characters and their booking is the main thing to focus on. I'll be using TheWho87's August real world mod as the basis for everything I'm doing. I'd like to thank the forum for all your support in the past and I hope everyone enjoys the diary! I'm going to save you some time and ask you to just spin on those pretty little heels of yours and go back out that door" Ziggler replies dryly, his feet resting up on his desk with his signature trilby pulled down over his eyes. Next to his feet rests an empty bottle of rum. "But Dolph... I need your help!" The woman pleads as she steps out into clear view of the office, Lana stares him down with her intense gaze as she hopes to crack his hardened exterior. "Sorry doll. I have two rules. I don't take cases from dames and I don't work with Russians...." Ziggler replies as he sticks a cigarette in his mouth and lights it. Angrily Lana storms out of the office as Dolph takes a deep puff. Rating: 43 Back in their locker room, The New Day Celebrates their victory until Xavier Woods asks for their attention. "Alright guys. We've been on a roll so here's what I'm thinking. To celebrate our hot streak I've decided to buy us....drum roll please!" He looks sideways at Big E who proceeds to drum his hands on a nearby bench. Xavier reaches into his locker and pulls out a bulky looking helmet. "Ta-da! I've got all three of us our very own Nervegear for the next episode of Up Up Down Down!" Xavier excitedly says as he jumps up and down. Kofi looks incredibly excited at this news but Big E seems mildly confused. "What's a nervegear? Is that anything like a gameboy? I'm a fan of Nintendo games but I haven't really played anything like that since the Super Nintendo" Big E says as he leans back on the bench. "No man, Its a nervegear! You put it on and you can see the game in a totally three dimensional environment! It's like that Oculus thing but Facebook doesn't own it so it doesn't suck!" Kofi says as he grabs the helmet from Xavier and examines it closely. "So... next week, right guys?" Do You think you'll be able to hold onto the title and surpass her?" Renee asks as she holds the microphone up to Nikki who shoots her a look of utter disgust. "Have you watched any of my matches? I'm the undisputed queen of the WWE. Am I good enough to beat AJ Lee's record? Please! I'm not only good enough to beat AJ's record, I'm also the best diva of all time. Trish who? Lita whatshername? AJ's a total nobody. Mark my words Renee, after I break the Diva's title record you're going to see a solid gold statue of me in the WWE offices" she says with an evil grin before walking off. A black gloved hand appears carrying a John Cena action figure which is dropped into the flames and a distinct cackling can be heard as the camera zooms in on Cena as he is slowly consumed by the flames. A distorted voice clears and then clearly speaks. "At Summerslam... "Roman, tonight you're scheduled to take on The Ascension in a tag team match but your partner hasn't been seen at all tonight. What's going on?" Renee asks. "Well Renee, I have absolutely no clue where Dean's been. I haven't heard from him since Saturday and the last text I got from him was..." Roman pulls out his phone and looks at the screen "Ah here it is. Dean sent me a picture of a dog wearing a sombrero. Then the rest are all me asking him where the hell he is... But anyway, I'm confident and even if I have to I'll take the Ascension on by myself and beat them into the ground. Believe Tha..." Roman is cut off as Dean rides a bike through the backstage and bails on it just as he gets in front of the camera. Roman pauses for a second as he watches the riderless bike go flying through the diva's makeup table. "Hey man. You ready for our match?" Dean smiles as he pants, clearly out of breath from the effort to get to the arena. He gives Roman a playful shot to the arm. "Where have you been?" Roman asks, raising an eyebrow. "Don't worry about it, They could only hold me for forty eight hours. Anyway, lets go. We've got a match!" Ambrose says as he jogs offscreen. You come onto Raw, onto my set and you try to show me up like that? Nobody pins the Miz. Nobody!" Miz fumes "We apparently I did so..." Neville shoots back. "That's it! I'm calling the boss and telling him that you're trying to ruin WWE Studios by making their star look like a chump. I don't think The Authority would take kindly to that!" Miz shouts as a sadistic smile forms on his face. "Yeah, you go do that. I'll just sit right here and wait..." Neville rolls his eyes. "That's right! I'm the Miz! I'm a Star! I'll have your job for this!" he shouts as he marches out of the locker room and pulls out his phone. Rating: 62 Seth Rollins is seen in The Authority's office, his WWE World Heavyweight Championship is on his shoulder as Stephanie sits behind her desk. "Why do I have to defend my title tonight? I don't want to" Seth pouts. "Because you're required to defend your title occasionally or else you get it taken away from you" Stephanie explains in a calm and collected voice. "This is so lame!" Rollins stomps his foot. Stephanie stands up and walks over to him. "Do I need to take your title?" she asks sternly. "...No...." Seth grumbles and stares at the floor. "Well alright then. You'll go out there and defend it. Don't worry, it'll be an easy match" she says as she adjusts the belt on his shoulder. "Did you eat your dinner?" she asks him. Seth looks up from the carpet and nods. "Okay good. Now go out there and have your match. Remember, Hunter and I are very proud of you!" "See, the rabbit runs around the tree and goes into his hole..." she says slowly as she ties the laces. "Oh my god just do it already. I'm supposed to be out in the ring doing a promo..." Seth whines. The door suddenly flies open as Dean Ambrose charges into the office followed closely behind by Roman Reigns. Stephanie quickly stands up and Seth starts to pretend he was lacing up himself. "Steph, Sethy-boy. Its been awhile" Dean grins at the pair like a cheshire cat "What are you doing in my office Dean?" Stephanie angrily responds through gritted teeth. "To be honest I have no idea. We were going to go grab dinner at a pizza cart out front and he just ran across the hallway and kicked your door in" Roman responds, entirely deadpan. "That's because I had a brilliant idea. Stephanie. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Tonight we have a match. Roman and I versus your baby boy here. If we win, we get a world title shot at Summerslam!" Dean claps his hands together and laughs, quite pleased with his idea. "You'd both get a shot at the world title? Are you talking about a triple threat match?" Seth asks, clearly annoyed at the whole idea. "No Seth! Haven't you ever heard of sharing!?! Roman and I become the World Heavyweight Champion! You're so damn selfish!" Ambrose shouts and winds up to punch Rollins who steps behind Stephanie to protect himself. "Dean, how about this. I'll make a triple threat match tonight, You Vs Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins and the winner will be the #1 contender. If Seth wins, he doesn't have to face either of you..." Stephanie proposes, everyone looks surprised at this compromise. "Yeah alright... good enough for me" Dean smiles as he pats Roman on the shoulder and wanders out into the hallway. Roman stares Rollins down for a moment before leaving as well. "Why would you make that match? I don't want to have another match tonight" Seth groans at Stephanie. "Just trust me, okay? Rating: 44 The New Day can be seen putting on their Nervegear helmets and laying down on benches in their locker room as they start their game. The perspective changes as suddenly fully 3D modelled members of New Day can be seen walking in a field. "What did I tell you guys? These graphics are amazing!" Xavier gushes as Kofi stares at his own hand. Big E reaches down and pulls up some grass. "Huh, I can actually feel the grass in my hand. This is really impressive." Big E comments as he lets the blades fall through his fingers. "Am I actually waving my hand around like this in the real world?" Kofi asks as he shakes his hand faster to see if the game will lag. "No, when you put on the helmet its basically like going to sleep. In the real world you're paralyzed. That's so you don't get into a sword fight with a monster and suddenly go cartwheeling into a wall" Xavier explains. "Alright cool. But if we're paralized in the real world, how do we exit the game?" Big E raises an eyebrow "There's a logout button right.... umm..." Xavier pulls up the in game menu and tries to find the logout button, it is however greyed out and when he attempts to push it a pop up appears in front of him. "Welcome to Swordcraft Online! We're sorry to inform you that logging out has been disabled. Any attempt to leave the game will result in your nervegear helmet discharging a large shock into your brain. Essentially acting as an electric chair! Protip: Dying in the game will also result in your untimely death in real life! The WWE Universe would love to know what your plans are for Brock Lesnar" she pushes the microphone towards him. "Well Renee, I'm here to reveal my client's intentions later on in the night. Here's a bit of a spoiler. We're going for the gold. "Neville Neville Neville...." The Miz says smugly as he waits for the woman to pull the ropes apart for him so he can climb into the ring. "What you just don't get is that you can win all the matches you want. I'm still the only one here who's a success. I've even managed to hire myself a lovely new assistant..." he motions to the woman in the business suit. "I believe you've met Alexa Bliss?" Miz stares down an unimpressed looking Neville with a smug grin. Alexa smiles and starts to wave to Neville but The Miz shoots a glare in her direction that causes her to shrink away. "Look. Miz. I don't care about what you've got going for you. I'm content just coming out every week and being a great wrestler" Neville counters, Miz angrily stares him down. "Alexa! Throw water in his face!" Miz orders. Alexa looks horrified at the idea before realizing she'd better do it. She walks to the commentator's table and grabs a bottle of water sitting in front of Carlos Cabrera. She walks back into the ring and begins to unscrew the top. "Alexa! You know how I like my water. Put some strawberry flavouring in there!" The Miz demands. Alexa shoots him an incredibly confused look. "But you're not going to be drinki...." she counters but is quickly cut off by The Miz shrieking "PUT THE STRAWBERRY FLAVOURING IN IT! I DON'T PAY YOU TO THINK!" Alexa defeatedly reaches into her pocket and pulls out a container with Strawberry flavouring that she squirts into the bottle. Neville just stands and stares at the duo as they do this, seemingly wanting to see this strange event all the way through. Alexa mixes up the water before looking at Neville, apologising quietly and then tossing some of the water into his face. "Aahahahah! Got it Neville? I'm the winner here! I'm The Miz. And I'm Awesome!" Miz laughs himself hoarse before ordering Alexa to part the ropes for him so he can exit the ring again. Rating: 60 John Cena can be seen in his locker room getting ready for a make a wish appearance later on when he's suddenly attacked from behind by Konnor and Viktor. Cena attempts to fight back but the initial surprise seems to be too much as the duo overwhelm the US champion. He has struck your monarch in a fashion unbecoming of one of his subjects!" Barrett decrees. As he does a rather large pale man wearing an executioner mask comes down to the ring and grabs Jimmy before shackling his wrists together and dragging him to the back. Finish her!" are cut short as Nikki Bella interrupts the celebration by cranking Paige across the face with a forearm before leaving her laying with the Rack Attack. At Summerslam, I want my revenge..." he states clearly and emotionlessly before laying Heyman out with a brutal shot to the boys. I just discovered the series 2 months ago and binge watched it to the end. The crowd seems thrilled by Paige's victory but their chants of "Finish her! Finish her!" are cut short as Nikki Bella interrupts the celebration by cranking Paige across the face with a forearm before leaving her laying with the Rack Attack. Especially the way you're depicting Rollins is simply awesome. The crowd seems unsure whether to boo her or cheer her as her alignment changes depending on the segment. They finally compromise by Wooing and chanting for JBL. "Ladies and gentlemen. I'm here because all week long I've been receiving calls, emails and tweets asking me how this close to Summerslam the WWE World title has not booked to be defended. Now as much as I regret booking Seth Rollins in a title defense on such short notice...." Stephanie's cut off however as Seth Rollins's theme blares through the arena loudspeakers. "No! No no no! Not happening! I already beat Zack Ryder for the title two weeks ago. I don't have to defend the title for another 30 days. I'm not doing it!" Seth angrily stomps to the ring as he whines "Seth... the fans deserve to see a World title defense at Summerslam. It's one of our biggest shows!" Stephanie protests but Seth stomps his foot "Nuh uh. I have plans for that weekend. I'm going to go over to Zahra's and we're going to hang out!" Seth yells, his voice starting to crack. "Seth, I don't like that Zahra. She's got all of that Hitler stuff all over the walls..." "YOU CAN'T STOP ME! OUR LOVE KNOWS NO END! WE'RE GOING TO BE TOGETHER FORE...." Seth is cut off however as Randy Orton seemingly forms out of thin air and hits an RKO literally out of nowhere. Seth lies twitching in the middle of the ring as Orton stares down Stephanie. "I want that title shot Steph... Now... tell me... do I get it or do I have to punt your boy here until he smartens up?" Randy stares Stephanie down until she takes a deep swallow that her old man would be proud of. "Alright Randy. You get the title shot at Summerslam" Stephanie concedes, Randy smiles for a moment before disappearing like smoke vapour and RKOing someone in the crowd who slightly tripped on their way up the stairs. Rating: 49 The crowd takes a deep sigh of relief as Alicia loses the match before cheering Paige for her victory. Although frankly they would have been fine with even Brie as long as Alicia didn't win. In The Miz's locker room Alexa Bliss can be seen standing at attention next to the Hollywood A lister. "Alexa... get Spielberg on the phone will you? I just came up with an awesome idea for a movie. Jaws attacks Seaworld. Amazing right?" Miz smiles as Alexa smiles at him "Actually sir, I think that's the plot to Jaws 3D and that movie was received rather poorly..." she attempts to defuse the situation with an utterly adorable smile, however it achieves nothing. "Umm... hello? Hellooooo?" Miz says as he stands up and starts knocking on the side of Alexa's head as if it were a door. The pixie-ish diva seems incredibly uncomfortable. Big Show falls to a massive superman punch from Roman as Dean spits a mouthful of colgate into the eyes of Kane before planting him with Dirty Deeds. Kane and Show beat a hasty retreat as the referee brings them their titles. A tension filled staredown ends the show. Final Rating: 75. Popularity increased in 27 regions and decreased in 11. Thank you. I really enjoyed reading this and hearing your view of the diary. I enjoy expanding on the characters in the way I have and I'm thrilled you like how I'm doing it. I enjoy turning up the outlandish characters even further as a jumping off point. Except Dolph though, no clue where his character came from.
