ECW World Television Championship

Rhino © vs Spike Dudley

Comments: Rhino is gonna destroy everyone. I do think the TV title should be dropped due to interference from either RVD or Jerry Lynn, but not to Spike.

Danny Doring and Roadkill vs The Full Blooded Italians w/ Sal E. Graziano

Comments: Love me some FBI.

Christopher Daniels vs Tommy Dreamer

Comments: I wish I could pick Daniels, as I would love to see him ascend the ranks. But Dreamer is, and always will be, Mr. ECW.

Overall Comments: Keep it up. Loving the New Breed of Extreme.

Rhino - Rhino will lose the TV title in the near future, but not right here, he gets to look great on the TV debut. And making people look great is what Spike does best.

The FBI - Never really understood D&R as a team. A sleazy womanizer and an Amish? Was Paul Heyman watching Kingpin when he came up with this?

Tommy Dreamer - Kinda nice to see a game where the future stars who come in have to "pay their dues" first, so to speak.

One thing with your graphic for Daniels: he'd gone bald by '01 :D Anyway, it's not his time yet

Actually I found a few videos from 2001 where he still had some hair, but was dyed blonde. Him having hair won't last too long though.

Also, here are the prediction results from Regeneration, forgot to put them up with the Revolution TV prediction card.

(The show opens with the smiling face of Shane McMahon in his expensive looking office, dressed to his absolute best in this prerecorded message.)

McMahon: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Extreme Championship Wrestling Revolution TV, owned by me, Shane McMahon. It has come to my attention that perhaps I've not been entirely clear with my intentions, so I figure what better place to state them than on the first episode of my television show.

(McMahon gives a smug smile to the camera before clearing his throat and sitting up straight.)

McMahon: For years I've been stuck working in someone else's vision, where all of my ideas, all of creativity were shut down and stomped on. That is...until 1996, when they needed all hands on deck against the danger on the horizon. After that it was one hell of a five year run, I was able to be as creative as I wanted! But I was still in the boundaries of someone else's vision. Around late 2000 I made up my mind, I was sick of there always being a limit, I was sick of being limited by who I was!

(With a slam of both fists on the table the camera shakes a bit, but Shane seems to not notice it as he continues, all composure gone.)

McMahon: So I saved ECW from the chopping block, and made it my own! It's my turn to make a vision come true in this business, and nobody can tell me when I have to stop! Not Eric Bischoff, not Paul Heyman, and certainly not Vincent Kennedy McMahon!

(With a deep breath Shane comes to his sense, readjusting himself for a second.)

McMahon: I will rebuild ECW from its deathbed, but not back to what you people remember. On the bones of hardcore, I will bring to the public a new extreme in the form of the best wrestling in the world. You can keep your chairs, your ladders, your canes, but they won't last forever, because like it not, ECW is no longer for the people, but for me.

(After the theme and intro video we head to a prerecorded interview with Joey Styles and the man challenging for the ECW World Television Championship tonight, "Little" Spike Dudley.)

(With his usual enthusiasm Styles introduces Spike as "The Giant Killer", telling the audience of Spike's previous fights with big men like Bam Bam Bigelow, 911, and even his own brethren the Dudley Boys, remarking the heart Spike showed to go through it all, making the man in question smile with confidence.)

(That smile doesn't last long, as Joey's speech then goes into detail on the champion Rhino and his list of victims, and the various methods of destruction they all went through. By the end of it all Spike was looking a little green, but even his worries didn't stop him from nodding when asked if he was ready.)

Dudley: I'm going to get hurt tonight Joey, but I am not Rhino's stepping stone! I've shown before I can take that son of a b***h to the limit, and tonight I do it again! I'm gonna go to that ring and get put through god knows how many f*****g tables! But Rhino, I am making you go through those tables with me and leaving with the ECW World Television title!

Tommy Dreamer vs Christopher Daniels

The first match of Revolution TV is clash of old school versus new school, which is funny to say considering both competitors are roughly the same age! But there is no denying the proficiency in their styles, from Dreamer's hardcore brawling to Daniels' modern wrestling, they put on a good show for old and new fans of ECW. In the end Dreamer's experience in chain wrestling gives him the upper hand, letting him not just keep up with Daniels, but counter his opponents move into some hardcore surprises, most notably a DDT through a steel chair for the victory. A victory that no doubt sends a message to Dreamer's opponent to be, C.W. Anderson.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer

Victory Method and Time: Pinfall at 12:35

(We join the trio of Simon, Swinger and Anderson in their locker room, the new World Tag Team Champions making sure to show off their belts as the camera focuses on them.)

(Simon says that for once Simon and Swinger don't have a problem, because they're not only the tag team champs, they've made fools of Doring and Roadkill for the titles, and they get a chance to make fools of them again at Living Dangerously in three weeks!)

(Speaking of Living Dangerously, Simon goes on to address Tommy Dreamer, telling the hardcore veteran that Anderson has made his decision on their match stipulation. It's going to a true old school finish between the two of them, in a Steel Cage match!)

Diamond: Oh and former tag team champs? We spoke to our new boss about our match at Regeneration, wonderful guy really, and he agrees with us about having a better performance at Living Dangerously. So to make sure you're on your toes, you've got three matches these next few weeks. If you lose more than one of them you'll still get a match with us, but it'll be non-title. Good luck boys!

(As the cameraman is kicked out of the tag team champs' locker room he bumps into an angry EZ Money, Julio Dinero at his side.)

(With a stern tone to his voice Money taunts Nova, telling him that he's just heading to a dead end trying to go through all his boys to get to the Money. But if Nova wants a fight Hot Commodity is willing to give him a preview of his future next week, with Chris Hamrick and Julio Dinero against Nova and a partner of his choice!)

Roadkill and Danny Doring vs The Full Blooded Italians

It was a focused pair of former tag team champs that went into this match, the risk of losing their title shots making them perform better than eer as they matched the Italians cohesion. But even the hunger to get back their gold isn't enough to overcome Doring's hunger for tail, as a very feminine distraction on the ring apron gets his attention.

"Dawn Marie is showing Doring her Diamonds!"

With his eyes on the body of Simon's girl Doring stops paying attention to what's around him, from his yelling partner being kicked in the face by a rushing Tony Mamaluke to Little Guido getting him set up for the Kiss of Death! (Inverted double underhook facebuster) With her job done Dawn smiled at the Italians, giving a grimace to big Sal E., and walked away as the F.B.I gained the victory over the number one contenders.

(We go to the locker room of the double champion, Rhino, a sick grin as his face as he looks at the World Television Championship.)

(With a snarl the champion says that he's been waiting for this day all week, to get back on television and put motherf*****s through tables for the whole nation to see! And out of all his first victims, he's damn happy it's going to be "Little" Spike Dudley, because he remembers their match at Massacre on 34th Street.)

Rhino: Everyone likes to talk about how "Little" Spike Dudley almost beat the "Man Beast", how he almost broke my legs and took my television title! But tonight that changes, tonight they're all going to talk about how Rhino broke every single f*****g bone in Spike's body! How there's no tables left in this s**thole venue because Rhino put the last Dudley through them all! How "Little" Spike Dudley tried to kill a giant again, only to die, and not even for the World title.

Spike Dudley vs Rhino ©

Spike met the threat of Rhino full on, immediately going at the champion with fists and kicks, but Rhino was prepared as he immediately threw Spike off of him, only to give an immediate Gore to his challenger. From there it was Rhino's match as he tossed Spike around, and not just in the ring as an Acid Drop attempt from Spike only got him thrown through a table on the outside. But just one table crash wasn't enough to keep the "Runt of Dudleyville" down, as a chair from the floor became Spike's sudden weapon, crashing into Rhino's skull as he tried to pick up Dudley.

With Spike in the driver's seat it became pattern of chair shots to Rhino's leg, shades of their match back in December with Spike's old game plan, but unlike last time Rhino began fighting back mid swing, shots to the face of Dudley. As a dazed Spike tried to recover Rhino set up a table against the guardrail, a sick smile spreading on his face as he got in position, crouching in wait before charging at a now standing Spike! Picking up Spike in his run Rhino kept on going goring Spike right through the table and into the guardrail!

With Spike now limp in his arms Rhino rolls him back into the ring before grabbing a table and bringing it in, wanting to be true to his words of breaking every bone in Spike's body. But as he sets up for the Rhino Driver on the turnbuckle Spike springs to life, breaking out from Rhino's grip and giving endless shot after shot to the champion, desperate to keep on fighting! With a yell of his own Spike climbs the turnbuckle, ready to give an Acid Drop right through the table, but the "Man Beast" isn't dazed enough as he lifts Spike in the middle of his jump, getting him high above the table he ends up smashing through!

With his body shaking in fury Rhino goes to the outside, getting another table for another go at the Rhino Driver, and with his body having been brought to the limit there's no fight from Spike this time as he goes headfirst through the table. But Rhino isn't done, he is far from done as he finds another table under the ring, but Referee Jim Molineaux has seen enough and rings for the bell as he tries to stop Rhino from doing further damage to the unmoving Spike Dudley.

Winner and STILL ECW World Television Champion: Rhino

(Referee Jim Molineaux isn't enough to stop Rhino, official or not, and receives a Gore for his efforts, but his "sacrifice" bought Spike time for an actual savior in the form of The Sandman!)

http://i.imgur.com/t81LuTG.jpg

"The Cane Cavalry is on the way!"

(Catching Rhino by surprise The Sandman swings his signature cane, getting payback from Regeneration with each smack on the skull of Rhino! But sweet revenge turns into some bitter pain as The Sandman turns to rally the crowd, only to get hit with a double clothesline from the SoCal Saints John Cena and Samoa Joe!)

http://i.imgur.com/SwFN1kF.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/iL6cyFt.jpg

"Not these brutes again!"

(Not doubt doing the dirty work of Shane McMahon, the hired duo beat on The Sandman, ignoring the jeering Hammerstein Ballroom, but as soon as their assault began it ends as a familiar pair run into the ring.)

http://i.imgur.com/mL04gkL.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/qxy5tX8.jpg

"I've never been more happy to see either man in my life!"

(By now the entire Ballroom is up on their feet, just going crazy at the chaos happening in the ring, the SoCal Saints brawling it out with Steve Corino and Justin Credible, the duo of former world champs not forgetting the attempted assault by McMahon's thugs at Guilty As Charged! But the numbers game turns on them as The Standard's newest muscle makes his debut appearance on ECW TV!)

http://i.imgur.com/NzS7JrT.jpg

"The Motor City Predator is here!"

(With authority Monty Brown makes his presence known, giving an immediate Pounce to Justin Credible as Joe and John double team Corino, holding him back to watch along with Francine and Jack Victory on the outside as Brown destroys Justin. But before a second Pounce can happen the crowd explodes at the sight of the man who just came from behind the curtain, Rob Van Dam!

http://i.imgur.com/jB3rIeu.jpg

"RVD is here to repay the favor to Corino and Credible!"

With a chair in hand Rob begins to clean house, taking out Joe and Cena as Corino takes Credible outside the ring to recover. But Brown is still standing and looking vicious as he stares down "The Whole F'N Show", unafraid of the steel in Rob's grip.)

(Time seems to crawl as Brown stands tall, just waiting for Rob to make a move, not faltering even as Rob lifts the chair, readying it for a surprise attack from Brown. But just as the tension reaches an all time high the music of Jerry Lynn blasts from the Ballroom speakers!)

http://i.imgur.com/axOd8rr.jpg

"Looks like Jerry Lynn is coming down for a piece of the 'Predator!'"

(With a chair of his own in hand Lynn makes his way in the ring, standing side by side with Rob as he glares at Monty Brown, no doubt seeing him as an extension of Cyrus. With a yell he raises his chair and swings, the New York audience going loud as he connects the steel...right into Rob Van Dam's face!)

(With a laugh Brown shakes the hand of a stoic Jerry Lynn, raising his hand to the boos of the Hammerstein Ballroom. Turning around Brown moves to greet an emerging Cyrus, whose ecstatic at the fallen bodies of The Standard's enemies, only for Jerry Lynn to give him a chair shot of his own to the back of Monty's skull! With a now horrified Cyrus yelling at him Lynn grabs a mic from what remains of the timekeeper's table.)

Lynn: Shut the f**k up Cyrus! Let me make this clear to you, your new boss and everyone other sorry piece of garbage in this trash company! This isn't The Standard's circlejerk show, this isn't Shane McMahon's "revolution", and this sure as hell isn't Rob Van Dam's "hero hour!" What I just showed everyone here is that this new f*****g show belongs to the best wrestler in this company, and his name is JERRY F*****G LLLLYYYNNNNNNN!!

(The show opens with the usual intro video and greeting from Joey Styles, but instead of a match rundown the introductions continue as Joey sighs and welcomes his newest broadcast partner, Cyrus!)

(With a smirk Cyrus comments on how nice it is to be around the announce table without Joel Gertner's fat ass greasing the place up, only for Styles to force the conversation to move on as he runs down the card, doing his best to ignore Cyrus and do his job.)

Cyrus: You see Joey Styles, that lack of respect is exactly why I'm here, you've been very critical of The Standard ever since Regeneration and as a result Mr. McMahon has appointed me here to bring some professionalism to the show!

Styles: Professionalism?! You fired Joel Gertner and had him thrown out into a snowbank by security!

Cyrus: Oh look here comes Nova, let's do our jobs shall we?

(Nova seems ready for a fight tonight, immediately going for a microphone for the first time since his impressive streak in January. After a quick second to drink the cheering crowd, Nova begins to speak, telling the crowd that since he's beaten Julio Dinero and Chris Hamrick, there's only one man left on his list, EZ Money. And he's making the challenge now, Nova versus Money at Living Dangerously, but before that, he's gonna show Money a preview tonight as he takes down his boys once again with the help of his tag team partner, Kid Kash!)

Nova and Kid Kash vs Hot Commodity w/Elektra

It's a high impact match to kick off Revolution TV, as Kash and Nova work well together, using their high flying moveset to keep control of Julio and Hamrick. However Elektra is there for a reason, and that's to make sure her boys win as she gets stops a Senton Bomb attempt from Nova on Julio Dinero, causing him to fall groin first on the turnbuckle! With speed Kash attempted to reach Elektra to get payback, but all his steam came to a stop as he ran into a Confederate Kick, courtesy of Chris Hamrick!

With Kash down on the outside of the ring, it seemed that Nova was going to have to face an angry Hot Commodity on his own, but backup came running in the form of the "Extreme Luchador" Super Crazy!

http://i.imgur.com/xmBQagX.jpg

"Kash has got some friends of his own, and here comes the craziest of them all!"

With ease he jumps to the top rope, barely giving Hot Commodity the time to turn around as Hamrick gets taken down by a dropkick by Crazy! But as Julio attempts to go to work on Crazy it's too late as Kash comes from out of nowhere, headscissors takedown sending Julio to the mat, giving Nova the perfect chance to try once again, this time hitting the Senton Bomb and getting the pin!

(Backstage, behind a door that says "Serious Meeting", is a four way discussion between Steve Corino, Justin Credible and their respective managers, Jack Victory and Francine. Judging from the hand motions and occasional tap of a Singapore Cane, it's clear they're talking about their match later on tonight against RVD and The Sandman.)

Corino: Look, Rob and The Sandman are the only reasons why we even get close to those punks Cena and Joe, otherwise it'd a four on two beatdown every time we run in there. Tonight we go in there to win, we'll get bloody if we have to, but as far as I'm concerned we save the big guns for The Standard!

RVD: I couldn't agree more dude.

http://i.imgur.com/cIKH292.jpg

(With a smile at someone appreciating his words Corino turns around to face Rob, only to come face to face with a snarling Sandman, cane in hand and cigarette in mouth, causing Steve to give a high pitched scream in fright.)

http://i.imgur.com/1f5d2cp.jpg

Corino: Don't do that damnit! What if you were one of the The Standard huh? Also can't you read? The door said "Serious Meeting" on it!

Sandman: Well it also said "Call Steve Corino for a good time" in black marker, so I wasn't exactly wanting to pay attention to what was on it.

Corino: What?!

(As Corino goes to check the door, telling Jack to get some wet towels, Credible takes over, asking Rob and Sandman why they were there, Francine holding Credible's own Singapore Cane close by.)

RVD: Look man, both our teams are the only thing stopping a total takeover, and unlike Jerry Lynn I can tell that a solo crusade is a bad idea. So Sandy and I are just here to see if we're on the same page about tonight. We go out and tear the house down, but we make sure to save the real pain for The Standard, deal?

(With a look at Corino, Victory and finally Francine, Credible nods, both pairs exchanging handshakes, the start of an alliance happening on Revolution TV!)

Roadkill and Danny Doring vs SoCal Saints

It's a less confident Roadkill and Danny Doring out here tonight, clearly shaken up from their loss last week, something that Cena and Joe take advantage of early on. With an impressive power game the "security team" of Shane McMahon bring Doring down to a near immobile state, especially after a Samoan drop/Neckbreaker Combo that Cyrus refers to as the D.O.A. But like any good partner Roadkill will not let them end the match on Doring, always breaking up pins just in time.

Things take a turn as the very familiar and very feminine form of Francine makes her way down to the ring, climbing up onto the apron and getting the attention of both Cena and Doring.

http://i.imgur.com/OBYa2VR.jpg

"She's Justin's girl, what is she doing here?!"

With a look of disbelief at their respective partners Roadkill and Joe start yelling, each man trying to get their partner to ignore the bikini clad distraction. It's Danny who snaps first however, and with Roadkill cheering him on he strikes from behind, rolling Cena up for the quick pin! Credible and Corino, through the wiles of Francine have just cost the Saints a match, but at the same time, almost cost Doring and Roadkill as well!

(We join the announce booth just in time to see a furious Cyrus leave the table, catching the phrase "stupid sexy Francine" as he goes, leaving an amused Joey Styles as he welcomes Tommy Dreamer for an interview on his upcoming cage match with C.W. Anderson.)

Dreamer: Anderson is one of the most brutal guys I've ever faced, he hits hard with both his fists and a chair, and truly lives up to his family name, but I've got a name of my own here. "The Heart and Soul of ECW", a name that to some people that means that I'm just never leaving this company, but it's much more than that. At Living Dangerously, I'm not going into that cage to go "old school" with you Anderson, I go into that cage to teach you all about the man who bleeds hardcore, who lives hardcore. The man, who is Hard! Core!

(From the entrance of the booth comes the sound of clapping, the camera moving to reveal Jerry Lynn looking on with a bored expression on his face as he brings his hands together.)

Lynn: So is this why you couldn't do an interview with me Styles, because you had to hear from this loser instead? All he's done lately is get his ass kicked around by Anderson, meanwhile last week I took down Rob Van Dam and The Standard! I deserve this interview more than Dreamer ever will!

Dreamer: You know Jerry, we have one more week until Living Dangerously, and since McMahon gave Anderson and his friends a vacation how about next week you put your money where your mouth is?

Lynn: Getting the chance to whoop your ass on national tv? I'll gladly take that offer. See you next week, Chump.

RVD and The Sandman vs Steve Corino and Justin Credible w/Jack Victory

It seems that people can keep promises in the wrestling business as both teams give a clean fight, or as clean as things can get when both team have a Singapore Cane specialist. With Corino and Rob using technical wrestling and Sandman and Credible sticking to their brawling things stay in a pretty back and forth pace, someone always having a counter to any attempts at establishing dominance. Even the inclusion of the Singapore Canes from Justin and The Sandman reached a stalemate, both men breaking their canes on the skulls of the other's partner.

It was through chairs that the end came however, as a Double Superkick on a chair into the Sandman's face put Corino and Credible in a position to end it all. But they didn't see the return of RVD, who grabbed a nearby chair, only to toss it to Credible, delivering a Van Damninator to the former Champion! With a look at his fallen partner Corino tried to react, but missed his Superkick attempt as Rob ducked and moved behind him, dropping the chair onto the mat before delivering a perfect German Suplex, with Corino's head landing right on the steel chair! With Rob still holding his position the referee makes the count, 1....2....3!

Winners: Rob Van Dam and The Sandman

Victory Method and Time: Pinfall at 15:50

(With the match done Rob doesn't try to celebrate, instead moving to pick up everyone else, helping them to their feet as he offers another round of handshakes to reflect that there were no hard feelings tonight.)

(But before any of the four men could move things go bad, as all four members of The Standard run into the ring and start beating on the worn alliance! A cackling Cyrus telling Styles that this is the price of defiance as one by one they all get a round of signature moves, each one ending with a Gore through a table.)

"No! No! Not now!"

(With bodies in each corner of the ring the four men stand in the middle, arms raised high as the New York crowd boos them furiously. But the booing only gets louder, as the man who planned this attack himself steps out from behind the curtain.)

"Just a sick sick man..."

McMahon: You think I was going to let last week stand?! Let you all walk over my vision, my authority?! No, no, no, that's not how this is going to go, if you want something you need to go through my authority to get it! So Justin, Steve? At Living Dangerously you'll get your match with the SoCal Saints, but since you lost tonight, you've got to prove yourselves first, in a Tag Team Gauntlet match!

(In what seems to be a pattern with Shane, the crowd cheers at the first announcement of the tag team match, only to boo once more as the Gauntlet gets announced, leaving a smug McMahon to bask in their jeers.)

McMahon: As for Rob and The Sandman, since you two won I'm giving you the chance to get your hands on Rhino and Monty Brown, but it won't be one-on-one. It's going to be Rob Van Dam, teaming with The Sandman to face the "Man Beast" Rhino and "Predator" Monty Brown in a Tornado Tag Team Match! But since I f*****g hate both your guts we're gonna make things interesting. If you two win you'll both get a guaranteed title shot at the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, but if you lose...not only do you lose your title shots, you wont get another shot for one whole year! The Standard is here boys, you better measure up!
