Jerry Lynn - Jerry is involved in the top storyline of the company right now against The Corpthority, while Tommy is down in the midcard fighting CW. Tommy can take a brief loss here and not look too bad.

Doring and Roadkill - Former tag champs get a win back in their column.

The Standard - POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUNCE

Styles: Hello everybody and welcome to the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City! I'm Joey Styles alongside my broadcast partner Cyrus, bringing to you another episode of ECW Revolution TV!

Cyrus: And what an episode we have tonight Joey Styles, especially with this opening match featuring not only the "Motor City Predator" Monty Brown, but the Undisputed ECW Champion, the "Man Beast" Rhino!

Styles: Aren't you forgetting something?

Cyrus: Like what?

Styles: Their opponents!

Cyrus: Oh, I thought you were referring to something important.

Styles: You're impossible!

(For once the usually energetic York and Matthews make their way to the ring solemnly, both men understanding the level of opposition they have against them tonight. As they roll into the ring they continue this different behavior with Joey Matthews cutting off the ring announcer mid introduction and taking his mic.)

Matthews: You know when we got told about this match during the week by Cyrus we saw the most disgusting smile on his greasy face. And that smile told us that he expected us to come to the Hammerstein Ballroom and die to Rhino and Monty. Well you know what Cyrus? F**k you!

(The crowd gives a huge pop as Cyrus splutters, Styles doing his best to hide his laughter meanwhile.)

Matthews: We're here to kick ass and shut you up, but we're not alone! We've got the best damn backup a tag team could ever have in this company, but I don't need to make introductions, because he's always got one ready!

(With a smirk on their faces both York and Matthews point to the entrance, as a very familiar form with a very familiar bowtie makes his way down the aisle, Cyrus' sputtering only getting worse in confusion as Styles begins cheering.)

"Gertner's back! Gertner's back!"

Gertner: Well...well...well! It's good to be back in New York City, where the lights are shining bright and pretty! Just like its women who both love and need me, because there's nobody else whose as good at tongue pleasing!

(The crowd chants Gertner's name, having missed the "Quintessential Stud Muffin" address them every night as a furious Cyrus watches the man he hates most.)

Gertner: Joel-

"Now I'm no stranger to being put in a pair of cuffs,

and though it didn't end in the usual result of my head in a muff,

I'm back again to make your girlfriends quiver in delight,

along with your mom Cyrus, top of the list tonight!"

Gertner!

(Without a word Cyrus throws his headset to the ground, storming off from the announce desk, leaving a happy Joey Styles to give more details to the audience about Joel Gertner and his previous run as a manager of ECW's most famous tag team, the Dudley Boys!)

Gertner: Now then, before Cyrus goes and gets his hair in a knot about me being here I need to say that yes, I am still fired as an announcer. But what you cannot fire me from is being a manager, all thanks to my still very valid manager's license! So Cyrus, you can play "Swallow the Leader" all you want in the back! I'm here to lead Christian York and Joey Matthews in the footsteps of the greatest tag team in the world, so bring out your boys, it's time for an ass kicking!

Christian York and Joey Matthews w/Joel Gertner vs The Standard w/Cyrus

With a shout of "Kill them!" from Cyrus The Standard ran into the ring, immediately brawling with York and Matthews, Referee Jim Molineaux trying his best to get them into their respective corners. But his efforts come to an end as a wild eyed Cyrus screams at him that the match is now a Tornado Tag and to "ring the godamn bell or so help me you will be put through every f*****g table in this place!" With a fearful look Molineaux gives in, calling for the bell as the match officially begins!

With more energy than they've shown before York and Matthews keep things even with The Standard, both men using their speed to keep away from the power of Rhino and Brown. With a game plan of wearing the big men down, they rely on the other to break pins, including a notable diving leg drop from Matthews onto Monty Brown after a vicious Pounce on York. Unfortunately resiliency doesn't equally to invincibility, something both boys learned the literal hard way as Brown and Rhino hit their respective finishers on each of Gertner's boys, pinning both simultaneously.

Winners: The Standard

Victory Method and Time: Pinfall at 10:13

Grade: 45

(With a sadistic grin on his face Cyrus orders Monty and Rhino to "finish them off!", a frantic Joel Gertner rolling into the ring to try to save York and Matthews. Seeing this Cyrus changes his orders, telling The Standard to "rip his fat f*****g limbs off!", almost cheering with glee as the duo close in on Gertner.)

(But all of a sudden "Walk" begins to blast through the Hammerstein Ballroom, and the crowd gets loud at the running pair of Rob Van Dam and The Sandman coming to stop the assault!)

http://i.imgur.com/Lw4QBLN.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/L9KcNRY.jpg

"The ECW faithful protecting their own! Go get em!"

(With a screaming Cyrus still giving orders The Standard charge at the incoming saviors, only for Rob and The Sandman to pull the ropes, sending the "Man Beast" and the "Motor City Predator" straight to the floor! Seeing that now wasn't the right time Cyrus changes his orders from charging to retreating, shouting insults at the five men in the ring as Rhino and Brown share stares with RVD and The Sandman as Joey Styles reminds the audience of their matchup in three days at Living Dangerously!)

(Backstage we're with the full group of Hot Commodity for once, EZ Money flexing for the camera as Elektra rubs a hand along his chest, Dinero and Hamrick smirking on either side.)

Money: It's almost time Nova, that is time for Hot Commodity to cash in on you, Kid Kash and Super Crazy! At Living Dangerously it's going to be a clean sweep because not only will Julio Dinero and "Confederate Currency" take down Kash and Crazy, I get the opportunity to put a stop to "Nasty" Nova's nonsense! So get ready for us boys, because for Hot Commodity March 24th is going to be one hell of a payday!

(The backstage feed changes to a part farther in the Hammerstein Ballroom as our vigilant cameraman follows an irate Jerry Lynn right into the office of Shane McMahon.)

Lynn: McMahon! You better have a damn good answer for why I don't have a match for this Saturday! This is the third f*****g Pay Per View in a row!

McMahon: You know something Jerry, all you've done for weeks now is bitch and moan about how great you are, but I have yet to see proof that you deserve anything.

Lynn: Excuse me?!

McMahon: You heard me, everything that you've "done" has all been thanks to Rob Van Dam being around, starting things while you finish them and take credit for everything. So I suggest you focus on winning your match tonight, because that will help a sure lot more than complaining in my office!

(A seething Lynn stares down Shane, neither man willing to give into the other for a few tense seconds.)

Lynn: Fine. I'll go out tonight and kick Tommy Dreamer's ass, but after I'm done with that I expect an answer. Otherwise what I do to Dreamer tonight is gonna be done on you too. Chump.

Roadkill and Danny Doring vs The S.A.T.

At the start of this match Styles notes that it's a more confident Roadkill and Danny Doring that come to the ring tonight, however their recent troubles are still on their minds, especially that of Danny Doring as he appears off his game.

With the former tag team champs in a shaky state, Jose and Joel Maximo show off throughout the match, using their own chemistry to constantly isolate Doring and bring Roadkill down repeatedly. Unfortunately for the rookies the experience of Roadkill and Doring eventually kicks in, both men overcoming their funk long enough for a Buggy Bang on Jose to hit, giving them both the victory and guarantee of a tag team championship match when they take on Simon and Swinger at Living Dangerously.

Winners: Roadkill and Danny Doring

Victory Method and Time: Pinfall at 7:35

Grade: 40

(With smiles Doring and Roadkill share a high five, looking much more prepared than before, but all happy feelings fade as Simon and Swinger come out, back from their McMahon provided vacation.)

(With a nod at his partner Danny Doring moves forward, climbing the ropes to talk some trash towards the champs, but in doing so he fails to see the entrance of C.W. Anderson coming from behind and taking out Roadkill with a vicious Superkick! At the sound of boot meeting face Doring turns around, but Anderson is ready, grabbing the smaller Doring and whipping him into the ropes, catching him on the bounce back for an Anderson Spinebuster!)

(With a desperate Joey Styles calling out for help the trio close in, Anderson picking up Doring and leaning him against the ropes, the group wanting to take him out first. But before they can get anywhere the theme of one Tommy Dreamer stops them dead in their tracks long enough to see the man himself run down the aisle, steel chair in hand!)

http://i.imgur.com/e3VgIS7.jpg

"Go Tommy go!"

(With a fire in his eyes Tommy Dreamer makes a beeline straight for C.W. Anderson, smacking him between the eyes with the steel chair, causing Simon and Swinger to clear out the ring, rolling the now bleeding Anderson out with them.)

(As the tag team champs and their muscle leave through the crowd Tommy keeps his chair up, but no return comes from the troublemaking trio. Instead Tommy gets the sound of Jerry Lynn's theme song coming from all around, signaling the start of Dreamer's current issue, a main event match against the "New F'N Show!")

Tommy Dreamer vs Jerry Lynn

In a match born from one man's ego and another man's lack of caring about said ego this was never going to be a well paced technical bout. Both men did not like the other and it seemed that with every punch traded the dislike only grew worse. During the bout Joey Styles noted that both men had some different motivations for wanting to win, Dreamer wanting to head into Living Dangerously with some high momentum, while Lynn wanted to gain himself a spot on the card, no doubt for a nice paycheck from the Pay Per View.

After putting each other through numerous shots with the steel chair Tommy brought in earlier, things were down to whoever could pull off one more move, but before that one of the two had to get up first as they lay on the mat in a daze from a double clothesline. With surprising symmetry both men rose to their feet, sharing the same never say die attitude tonight! With a cry into the air Tommy rushed at Lynn, dodging a spinning heel kick, bouncing back and catching Jerry by the head! But Lynn stops the fallaway neckbreaker with a shot to the gut, moving fast as he lifts Dreamer into position, locking his hands around the right leg before landing the impact of the Cradle Piledriver!

(With the bell ringing and crowd cheering at the impressive match one would think that Jerry Lynn would be celebrating. But his face still keeps a sour look, eyes sweeping through the crowd with disdain as he grabs a mic.)

Lynn: Yeah yeah, now I'm suddenly everybody's favorite, I don't need your f*****g pity, and I don't need you New York losers! But what I do need is that answer Shane McMahon, and I'm not waiting for it anymore! Do I get a match at Living Dangerously, yes or no?

(Before the crowd can focus too much of their reborn boos on Jerry their true enemy makes his way out from the back, bringing two dangerous details with him. A mic and a very smug McMahon smile.)

http://i.imgur.com/vczy7r3.jpg

"I don't like that look..."

McMahon: Congrats Jerry, you're going to get what you wanted, you're on the card for Living Dangerously!

Lynn: Well it's about damn time!

McMahon: Hold on a second Jerry, you didn't let me finish...you're on the card, but not for wrestling in a match. You see with so many recent incidents of "company disrespect" I feel I can't trust a normal ECW referee to officiate my main event this Saturday. That is why at Living Dangerously the main event is going to be Rob Van Dam and The Sandman, versus The Standard of the Undisputed World Champion Rhino and Monty Brown...title shots on the line...with Jerry Lynn as the special referee!

(It's a shocked reaction through the Hammerstein Ballroom, from the crowd to Joey Styles to the man in the ring, Jerry Lynn. The man who hates the world stuck between two groups he hates the most!)

McMahon: Oh, and just like with Rob and Sandman, I hate your f*****g guts as well, so if you don't get over your ego and call that match right down the middle...you're FFFFFIIIRRREEDDDDD!!!

(With his poor imitation of Jerry's growl done, McMahon makes his way backstage, a wide eyed and conflicted Jerry Lynn left in the ring as a shaky Joey Styles signs off for Revolution TV, telling the audience at home to stay tuned for more details on how to purchase Living Dangerously, this Saturday on Pay Per View!)

RVD/Sandman - As big a supporter of locking guys out of the title hunt as I am ( :p ) I don't see any real logic in doing it here. You don't really have the main eventers to pull it off.

CW Anderson - This win will MAKE him.

Simon and Swinger - They won't have a problem anymore.

Nova - Nova has now run through all of Hot Commodity. It'll be interesting to see what you have for him next.

Kash/Crazy - HC should drop Hamrick, he definitely seems like the weak link.

Team Cyrus

SoCal Saints

Team Cyrus: Da Baldies

Highest grade: main event

Lowest grade: Tag titles match, only by process of elimination

Lynn will call it down the middle until someone from one team or another touches him, and then it's cradle piledriver time.

ECW Living Dangerously

Date: March 24th, 2001

Location: OnCenter War Memorial, Syracuse, New York

Attendance: 7,964

Show Rating: C- (58)

Theme:

(Living Dangerously starts with two men who arguably fit the idea the Pay Per View is named after as they wait for their match in the locker room of Rob Van Dam. Noticing the camera recording Rob stops his routine stretches and stands for their interview.)

RVD: For two weeks we've been hearing people run their mouths, saying that Sandy and I aren't taking our match seriously enough. That we don't understand what we're putting on the line tonight. Let me tell you, that is some grade A bulls**t. What everyone else thinks is apathy is simply confidence. We know damn well we're heading into an unfair fight, but brother that's what Living Dangerously is all about.

(With his piece said Rob nods at The Sandman who takes quick swig of his beer before looking at the camera.)

Sandman: Tonight we're all business, and it just so happens that business involves breaking the skulls of The Standard. Oh...and Jerry Lynn, you've got your own problems with McMahon and his goons, and we've got ours. Far as I'm concerned, as long as you call things down the middle then we'll stay out of your way. But...if you screw with us tonight, then I promise you I will screw with those brains of yours, swing after swing of this cane.

Grade: 55

(After an intro music video we go inside the arena, a crowd of over 7,000 cheering loudly as they wait the usual welcome from Joey Styles!)

Styles: Hello ladies and gentlemen! Now in a company where everybody has access to a weapon, I'd say we're pretty damn ready to be Living Dangerously! I'm Joey Sty-

Cyrus: You're Styles and I'm Cyrus, yeah yeah. Look Joey I've got important business to get to alright? Business that I'm tired of waiting for, so Joel Gertner, get your fatass to this ring, and bring your "team" with you!

(It's a serious looking York and Matthews that walks out, Gertner close behind as he gives them both some last minute whispers of advice, wanting them to be as prepared as possible for whatever Cyrus has planned.)

(However all the preparation in the world couldn't get anybody ready for the shock that hit as Cyrus handed Gertner the mic, saying "get it out of your system." Unable to resist the chance to do his gimmick Gertner takes the mic, facing the crowd with his usual grin on his face.)

(But before Gertner can even speak he's attacked from behind by Cyrus! Immediately York and Matthews move to pull him off their manager, but they're attacked themselves, Joey Styles screaming on the mic about their assailants!)

Christian York and Joey Matthews w/Joel Gertner vs Da Baldies w/Cyrus

As Referee Jim Molineaux started the match Cyrus grabbed the mic that had been kicked to the ringside floor, introducing the returning Baldies as his personal security, to protect him and help enforce order against rebels like Gertner and his ilk. Thankfully any chance of him continuing got cut short, as an angry Joel Gertner gave Cryus some payback, charging at his nemesis, their scuffle ignored by the combatants in the ring.

Thanks to their starting assault Da Baldies had as much control as they needed throughout this match, stopping any attempts by York or Matthews at building back a recovery. It also helped that after a near fall by York on Angel their manager stopped his brawl with Gertner once more and gave his boys some added insurance, tossing DeVito a steel chair to crack on the kid's skull. Not too long later, a now legal Joey Matthews attempted some payback, diving onto Angel Medina, but the man had him scouted, catching him midair on his shoulders. With a nod to DeVito they set up the steel chair before Angel hit the Fallen Angel (TKO) on Joey, head meeting steel, keeping him down for a pinfall by Medina!

Winners: Da Baldies

(Looking upon the scene of battered bodies and a celebrating Cyrus, Joey Styles has a hard time hiding his disgust, deciding it better to hold his tongue (and his job) and sends us to the office of Shane McMahon for an announcement, the man himself behind his desk, flanked by his own personal security, the SoCal Saints.)

(With a smile on his face (whether from Cyrus actions or his announcement is unknown) McMahon welcomes the Pay Per View audience to Living Dangerously, telling them that if they enjoyed tonight, then to make sure to watch ECW's next PPV, Wrestlepalooza on April 14th! He also encourages them to watch Revolution TV as well, because for the next few weeks leading to and on Wrestlepalooza itself, the ECW World Television Championship will be up for grabs in an "Open Challenge Series!" He dares anyone, and everyone to just try to survive a fight with the "Man Beast" Rhino!)

(With his promotion done, McMahon hands things off to the Saints, who have some words to share with their possible opponents Steve Corino and Justin Credible before they go through the Gauntlet tonight.)

Cena: Man you boys are stupid. All month we've been hearin' you run your mouth, heard you call us cowards, sayin' we hidin' behind the boss. We're just playin' the game right homie, just doin' what we need to do to make that pay. Like at Guilty As Charged, what we did wasn't personal man, but you sure made it personal when you got involved in our business at Regeneration and on Revolution TV. You wanna play hit and run? Fine, but you best expect to get hit yourselves if you can't run fast enough.

Joe: Corino. Credible. Tonight isn't us hiding. It's punishment for you. All you had to do was take your heads out your respective, or each others or Francine's, asses and just ask for a match. But instead you didn't want to play ball and decided to make your own rules. So don't blame us when we take what's left of your bodies, whether you beat all or any of the teams in the Gauntlet, and use it as a statement to the locker room for what happens when they don't measure up to The Standard.

Kid Kash and Super Crazy vs Hot Commodity

Hot Commodity was not happy about the involvement of Kash or Crazy on Revolution TV this week, and throughout this match they made damn sure they knew. Dinero and Hamrick really came to the dance with this one, keeping up with the explosive energy of Kash and Crazy, including a notable spot where Kash attempted a hurricanrana on Hamrick, only to get a Confederate Kick midair that sent him crashing to the ground. However that same move brought Commodity's momentum down, as a superkick attempt on Super Crazy went horribly wrong when the "Extreme Luchador" ducked, leaving Dinero to take the shot!

As Hamrick stood in shock Kid Kash got busy, going under the ring and grabbing a steel chair before calling out to Chris, making him turn just in time to catch the chair in his arms. But that proved to be the end of it all as Super Crazy made a return to Hamrick the moment he caught the chair, smashing steel into his face with a spinning heel kick! With "Confederate Currency" down on his back Crazy tags his partner, allowing cash to climb the turnbuckle and leap from the top, landing an academic frog splash for the victory!

Winners: Kid Kash and Super Crazy

Victory Method and Time: Pinfall at 12:35

Grade: 47

(We're taken backstage for another locker room chat, but you wouldn't be able to tell it was a locker room from how well furnished the room was, from the walls to the chairs that sat Monty Brown and Rhino. While the Undisputed World Champion looked a bit out of place in the middle of so much glamour, his partner seemed to be settling in nicely. With cutlery in hand and a fancy lobster dinner in front of him, Monty Brown addressed the camera.)

Brown: Look at this right here! This is what happens when you're on top of the food chain! Rob Van Dam, you don't know anything about that son, but Sandman...you've been on top before. But that was back when this place was just simple garbage with freaks running all over the place, calling themselves athletes and champions! The Standard is bringing ECW out of trash can and into glamour baby, just like how we brought ECW to this crowded arena tonight! Just like we're going to do in the main event, when Rhino and I take away the World Championship dreams from two of the biggest pieces of garbage in this company!

(With a bark of laughter Brown starts to dig into his meal, the camera now directed at Rhino, arms wrapped tightly around the titles that hang over his shoulders.)

Rhino: No more waiting! No more brawls! Just GORE! GORE! GORE! And that's all you p***y New York fans are going to hear, because nobody is taking my gold from me! You hear that Mr. "Whole F**** Show?!" You hear that Mr. "Hardcore F*****g Icon?!" Neither one of you will come close to my belts, because tonight I'm not just breaking your f****g bodies through tables! I'm breaking your dreams as well!

(While tonight showed that both men had their differences in personality, they ended the interview with matching grins, The Standard were clearly more than just ready for the main event...they can't wait for it.)

(A prerecorded dual interview gets shown, featuring the ECW World Tag Team Champions Simon and Swinger and their challengers, the former champions Roadkill and Danny Doring!)

(With their usual smug looks the champions take an unusual route in their words towards their challengers, actually congratulating them on keeping their rematch from being non-title. However they go on, saying that they've noticed the shaky performance between the two in those matches, telling them not to worry, because Simon and Swinger have just the problem solver they'll need.)

(If the champs words got to either man they sure as hell didn't show it, as a stern looking Roadkill and energetic Danny Doring comment that all their matches did over the last few weeks is get them feeling better than ever!)

Doring: Let me assure you two goofs that there's no problem with us tonight, but you two certainly have an issue coming right at ya! Because you're not just facing the former champions Roadkill and Danny Doring. You're facing "The Big Angry Amish" Roadkill and "Dastardly" Danny Doring, soon to be two-time ECW World Tag Team Champions! And we're gonna prove it...now!

Roadkill and Danny Doring vs Simon and Swinger w/Dawn Marie

Right off the bat the challengers put up their guard at the sight of Dawn Marie, trusting her as much as they trusted the men they were fighting for the title. However it seemed that their worries ended up being pointless as Simon and Swinger put up a good, but unusually fair fight. In fact both teams fought well, neither one wanting to lose to the other no matter what punishment came into play. From Roadkill's springboard clothesline onto both men to a double Shaft (Running DDT) by Swinger that planted both challengers into the mat, nobody made it past a count of two.

But nothing stays in balance forever, as Dawn Marie's presence finally came into play, the woman in question climbing onto the apron as Doring climbed on top of the turnbuckle, his sights aimed on a fallen Simon as Roadkill and Swinger brawled on the outside. Before he could jump his eyes locked onto the very interesting form of Dawn Marie, his attention getting more caught as she began to sway her body for the infamous womanizer, hands slowly unbuttoning her top. The peep show ended up coming with a heavy cost the next minute, as a recovered Simon gave Doring a shot to the gut, stopping the distraction as he lifted Danny onto his shoulders. With Danny starting to panic Simon leaps off, landing a top rope Simonizer (Inverted Fireman's carry DDT) that sends Doring to dreamland!

At the sound of impact Roadkill turns around to see his partner lying still on the mat. With desperation he tries to break his fight with Swinger to save the match, but a sudden Swinger Stinger (shoulder jawbreaker) interrupts his charge just long enough to ensure Simon a guaranteed pinfall!

The Blue Boy and Jasmin St. Claire! With both having been gone for months Joey wonders why they're here in the middle of Living Dangerously...)

(Answers don't take long to show up as The Blue Boy and his girl set up seats right next to the timekeeper's table, seemingly intent on watching Blue's old partner Nova go through his match!)

Nova vs EZ Money w/Elektra

Before the match began Nova had an interesting interaction with Blue outside the ring. While at first all smiles to see his friend, Nova's expression grew into one of stone, constantly shaking his head as Blue spoke to him. After what seemed like ages of arguing Nova lost his temper, giving a loud "No!" before rolling back into the ring, a scowling Blue going back to his seat.

It seemed that even with that conflict Nova was still focused on his match, if anything the argument got him even more pumped up, a cocky EZ Money the victim of his ire. Money isn't the boss of a stable for nothing however, as eight minutes of constant counters and dodging keeps him into the game. Of course Elektra is also a big help, having broken up two pins by distracting the referee, both after Nova's ending move the Kryptonite Krunch! Her help pays dividends two minutes later, as Money is firmly in control and ready to finish it. Taking a moment to flip off The Blue Boy and Jasmin, Money starts to lift Nova for a vertical suplex as he prepares the Cha-Ching (vertical suplex powerbomb) but "Nasty" Nova gives him a shot to the gut and whips him at the ropes, running at the ones in the opposite direction!

WHAM! A shot to the skull of EZ Money with a steel chair from The Blue Boy! And Nova doesn't seem to have noticed as he keeps on his charge after bouncing on the ropes towards a stumbling Money! He dodges a weakly thrown arm and grabs his rival before hitting the Novacaine! (Reverse STO) As it hits Elektra tries to climb the apron, but Jasmin pulls her off, bringing her to the ground just as Referee Jim Molineaux counts, 1...2...3! Nova has beaten the final member of Hot Commodity, but Joey Styles comments that he doesn't seem to know of the assist given to him by the couple clapping on the outside of the ring!

(It's almost Gauntlet time, and with that means we join the team and their respective managers for their last minute words before they head out.)

Corino: Let me remind the Saints, the Unholy Alliance, the F.B.I. and anyone else whose got bets against us out there, we are a team of former World Champions! We've bled and made other people bleed for those accolades, and we deserve the respect that comes with it as competitors. Just like we deserved our moment of respect at Guilty As Charged with The Sandman. But we didn't get that moment, we didn't get to enjoy that glory because of you two! So don't come to us saying it wasn't personal, because when you stomp on the pride of men who have given as much as we have, you better expect to get stomped back!

(Breathing hard Corino nods to an amused but impressed Credible, giving him his turn to speak.)

Corino: Steve's right, you boys stepped into our business before we ever even consider yours worth getting into. But tonight isn't about "who done it", tonight is all about making things right. And after we beat the Unholy Aliiance and the F.B.I., we'll show you that what's right is Corino and Credible doing what we've done for a long f*****g time...and that's make an impact!

(With smirks on all four faces Corino and Credible move around, Credible in front with his right arm in the air with a strong fist, Corino behind him as he raises his left with the victory sign, Francine and Jack Victory pointing at the duo on either side.)

Francine: You two want to make a statement so badly, well then I hope you're ready to become one yourselves! I've got the best men in this company around me all hyped and ready to go, and a girl can't get any happier than that!

(After a few seconds of silence the three who spoke turn to look at Jack, whose still in his pointing pose before realizing the other three are waiting for him to speak.)

Victory: Look, in my opinion there's nothing more to be said. I don't just believe that you two will get it done, I know you two will get it done, and everyone else should too! So as far as I'm concerned, there's only one more thing to do before we go out there and kick some ass!

(With a smile from Steve and rolling eyes from Justin and Francine, Jack takes a quick breath before breaking out in a wide smile, his hand giving out the same victory signal Corino himself gave as he loudly exclaims, "High Spot!")

The New Impact Players w/Francine and Jack Victory vs Unholy Alliance/F.B.I./SoCal Saints w/Sal E. Graziano and The Sinister Minister

While there were smiles at the end of that promo, there weren't any when the foursome, with their clients now being announced by Jack Victory as The New Impact Players, made their way to the ring, knowing the task they had ahead of them. After a few seconds of waiting their first opponents came out, and while none of them would be walks in the parks, they got the arguably the most dangerous in the Full Blooded Italians, Little Guido riding on the shoulders of Big Sal.

The match that followed was one of the most violent technical contest, both teams playing a more scientific game, but the motive was clear, cause as much pain as possible to gain the victory as soon as possible. For the NIP it was a matter of survival, but for the F.B.I. it was no doubt to impress the boss enough to gain a potential title shot. With Jack Victory on the outside stopping any interference from Sal E. it all came down to which team would slip up from the chain first. After a double superplex to Corino off the top rope, it seemed that the NIP were done at the first obstacle, but Justin Credible wasn't ready to say die yet, stopping an Italian victory by acting fast, superkicking Mamaluke into dreams of his Mama's pasta, and giving Guido a whack of his trust kendo stick, courtesy of Francine! With the "Sicilian Shooter" stunned Credible turns his daze into a good night's sleep, ending his team's first fight after a textbook That's Incredible! (Spinning tombstone piledriver)

After a much needed minute break The Players are ready, and it seems so are their next opponents, as they come out as soon as they're allowed, Father James Mitchell not wanting to wait it seems. As The Sinister Minister leads his men down the aisle Joey Styles informs the crowd that Mitchell is out to do some impressing of his own lately, a new twisted drive for gold influencing The Sinister Minister's decision to have his boys partake in the Gauntlet. Like a pack of wolves all three members of the Unholy Alliance stared down the Impact Players as both teams knew there was some blood in the water, and with the Minister by their side Tajiri and Mikey were much worse than sharks when it came to bloodlust.

Unlike the last match there was a lot more of a wild fight mentality to this showdown, especially since Mikey Whipwreck was no technical genius, and like many great Japanese talents, Yoshihiro Tajiri's style was best summed up by Joey Styles as "kicking the living hell out of everything." Mikey would bring a surprise factor against Credible and Corino, only to tag in Tajiri whenever they would start guarding more, their defense only crumbling against Tajiri's infamous kicks, one of which added another name to his list of victims after a vicious Buzzsaw Kick to Justin's skull!

Things seemed bad as Tajiri tagged his partner, preparing for the finish as Mikey Whipwreck began climbing to the turnbuckle, but this time it was Steve Corino and Francine saving the day as Francine grabbed the cane of James Mitchell, preventing him from slipping it to Mikey, Corino doing his own rescue by paying back Tajiri with a superkick of his own into the "Japanese Buzzsaw's" face. With two battles going on it seemed that Mikey was a bit lost as who to help, and those few seconds cost him the chance to make any decision at all, as Corino climbed up to meet him at the top, giving him a cheeky "Hey there!" as he grabbed Mikey around the waist and lifted him over, sending them both straight onto the mat with an Avalanche Northern Lights Suplex! With bodies everywhere it was a crawling Justin that finished the job, placing a limp arm over the form of Mikey Whipwreck for their second victory!

This time that minute break was a godsend for The Players, each match having done its job of nearly breaking them down as they struggled to stand, their managers checking on them in the ring. But in the middle of their recovery things went bad as the "Man Beast" Rhino charged into the ring, his eyes wild with animalistic fury!

http://i.imgur.com/W1pcYkc.jpg

"He's snapped! Someone get him out of there!"

Joey Styles pleas went unanswered as Rhino let out a roar and charged, aiming right for the battle-worn Players, but Jack Victory wouldn't let him get there, throwing himself into the warpath and taking a devastating GORE! right into the mat! With a shriek of anger Francine stepped up the Undisputed World Champion, smacking him right across the face as she told him off, only to get a sick grin in return. With laughter Rhino pulled Francine into position, ready to make her suffer like so many others with the Rhino Driver, but her boys gave her some quick rescue, giving Rhino's ugly mug a double superkick, bringing the Champion down!

With Rhino down it seemed that the Players would finally get some breathing room, but while they dealt with Rhino time had since been up, the Saints having been watching from the ramp with grins as Francine began helping Jack out of the ring as Corino and Credible prepared for one more round of hell. But all they got were smug smiles and a pointing John Cena, causing both men to look behind them just in time to see a recovered Rhino before the double GORE! With both men down Rhino gave a quick snort of angry breath, nodding at the Saints as he made his way to the back, obviously assured that they'd finish the job.

Getting into the ring both Saints saw it fit to taunt Corino and Credible, talking trash and giving them stomps all over their bodies before attempting a pinfall on the legal Steve Corino. 1....2....No! Credible jumps desperately to make the save!

With a quick nod to Joe both men lift up Justin, and punish him for his last minute rescue, delivering their team finishing move, the D.O.A., ensuring he stays down as Cena attempts another pin on Steve. 1....2...NO! Corino kicked out of his own accord! They're battered and bruised, but the New Impact Players have yet to be beaten tonight!

With a shared look of rage the Saints head outside, grabbing a table each and bringing it back with them to set them up. In unison they grab their opponents and make handgun motions to their respective heads before lifting them up on their shoulders, settling into position before delivering simultaneous powerbombs through both tables! With a glaring Francine looking on the Saints plant a foot each on both men, and while the pin only counts for Cena on Corino, it's the statement that they were looking for that really mattered as they got the victory, Joey Styles remarking angrily how cheap it was to see such a great attempt end in such a way.

(Things move to a slower pace, and it isn't just to give the ring time to get cleaned and for the Players to be helped back. No, it's time for another prerecorded pair of promos, this time featuring two men prepared to end a war the old fashioned way, in a steel cage!)

(There's nothing fancy about either of these promos, Anderson and Dreamer hate each other, and they're more than happy to make sure the other knows it as the share one common trait in both promos...the promise of blood, and the guarantee of extreme pain.)

Tommy Dreamer vs C.W. Anderson

It's been a common theme tonight, but there truly was no more waiting as Tommy Dreamer was hellbent on starting, interrupting Anderson's taunt as his name was announced, letting him do the C and W signs with his hands, but grabbing his wrist as he attempted to slide it across his throat during the "Anderson". At first it was an initial struggle of power for control of Anderson's wrist, but Dreamer soon gave up on that, throwing the first punch in a long line of many as the fight began!

Thanks to his impatience Dreamer actually had good control for the first nine minutes, giving Anderson an up close and personal tour of the steel all around them...with his face, busting him open around the seven minute mark with a vicious DDT into the steel corner that saved Tommy from a second rope Anderson Spinebuster attempt. But bit by bit Anderson lived up to his family name, bringing out some surprise counters that nearly sent Dreamer to a real dream, including a moment involving a chair that a fan threw to Tommy, only for Anderson to superkick it into his face, sharing the flow of blood as Tommy was laid out with his head open!

With Tommy where he wanted him Anderson went to work, using his power to give Tommy's whole body the "Steel Cage" treatment, only with Dreamer's whole body feeling the impact instead of his face. After a minute of tossing Dreamer was on its way to two Anderson lifted Dreamer into a Fireman's carry, but before he could continue Dreamer struggled out of it, landing in front of C.W. and giving a shot to the gut before lifting the "Enforcer" sideways! With some amazing effort Dreamer managed both feet on the bottom rope before falling back and tossing Anderson in a Fallaway slam that laid out both men!

Thanks to him taking less of an impact Dreamer got up first, gingerly making his way to Anderson for the pin, but C.W. was playing possum! In quick motion for his size he trips up Dreamer and brings him down before grabbing the steel chair and forcing it around Dreamer's arm! Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! Each sickening impact has Dreamer thrashing, but he will not cry out in pain! With Tommy's arm barely usable Anderson brings him to his feet, whipping him into the ropes, but Tommy catches Anderson mid run, and wraps his arm around the head for a DDT counter! Yet it seems that chair assault did it's job as Tommy can't hold on, getting whipped once more, with no counter this time as Anderson lands a vicious Anderson Spinebuster! On impact Tommy's head meets the steel of that chair, adding just enough damage to keep him down and out for the 1...the 2....and the 3!

(With the semi-main event done, it's nearly time for the final match of the night, something Jerry Lynn is obviously thinking very hard on as we join him backstage. But we're not the only ones as Jerry's time is interrupted by one of his least favorite people, Shane McMahon.)

Lynn: What the hell do you want McMahon?

McMahon: Easy now Jerry, I'm just here to make sure you're on point with the rules during the match up next.

Lynn: I don't give a damn about your rules boy, I've already told you before that I'm staying neutral!

McMahon: You damn well better! I'm sick and tired of the inmates trying to run the asylum, and so far tonight has been an amazing example of what happens those who try. If you do anything to ruin that for us tonight I swear to God I will do more than just fire you. I will make your last few days in this company a living hell! Do we understand each other Jerry?

(Lynn stares at McMahon, the ECW Owner meeting his glare with one of his own, nothing but determination in his body language. With silence Jerry lifts both hands up in a one-fingered salute, turning his back and walking away as a smug smile grows on Shane's face.)

Rob Van Dam and The Sandman vs The Standard

It's one thing when you see opponents look at each other in hate and anger, it's another thing when the referee himself does it to damn near everyone in the arena. But that's the name of the game as Jerry Lynn officiates in the classic referee gear, and to his credit the man does what he said he would, and keeps himself calm. It's even more impressive considering the moment the bell rung things erupted into some grade A chaos.

Both teams took advantage of the Tornado Tag rules, with Rhino hunting Rob Van Dam as Sandman set his sights on revenge against Monty Brown, memories of the POUNCE! that stole the ECW World Championship from him at Regeneration still fresh in his mind.

After an interesting few minutes of brawling and even some team moves, Monty and The Sandman end up heading outside the ring in the most painful way after an Irish whip that brings The Sandman on the apron turns into a full blown tackle by Brown bringing both through a table at ringside! As they see their partners go down Rhino and Rob come to a halt, realizing that it's now just them in the ring as their eyes meet. Unable to resist showing off Rob lifts his arms and does his signature taunt, the crowd only getting to "Whole F*****g-" before Rhino is sick of it all, going right for the GORE! But Rob barely dodges around the "Man Beast and grabs him from behind, yet Rhino is still in action, using his power to stop RVD from locking his hands together to be able to pull off the German suplex! With a roar Rhino whips Rob into the ropes, but the man comes back with a spinning heel kick that Rhino barely ducks under before leaping back up and scooping Rob as fast possible for a thunderous Powerslam into the mat!

With the Syracuse crowd going ballistic for what they just saw Rhino leaps back up, roaring in satisfaction at his success, but it comes crashing down just like the kendo stick onto his head as The Sandman jumps from the top rope! With a slowly recovering Monty Brown in the remains of a second table they broke after a B*****n' Leg Drop (Diving leg drop), it's now the "Hardcore Icon's" time to boast, or it would be if Jerry Lynn didn't start telling him off for the Singapore Cane, both men now getting in each others faces, no sign of respect to be found! Yet there's still a "Predator" lurking as Monty Brown makes his way into the ring, lining himself up for a POUNCE!, not caring about Jerry Lynn being in his way as he snorts and charges! But The Sandman sees it just in time, grabbing Lynn and bringing him to the ground with him as Monty runs into the turnbuckle!

With a look at the stunned Monty and seeing the Sandman's hands on him Jerry starts to lose his cool, smacking Sandman's hands off of him, causing him to get a smack and wad of spit to the face from Sandman, telling Lynn that he "didn't have to save your sorry ass!" That turned out to be the final straw as Jerry Lynn snapped, kicking Sandman's groin to get him into position for the Cradle Piledriver! With a shout of "F**k you Sandman!" Lynn locks the leg and brings the "Hardcore Icon" down on his head, only to continue in his rampage as he pays back Monty in the corner for the POUNCE! attempt, driving the "Predator" into hibernation with a Cradle Piledriver from the second rope!

Nobody is allowed to celebrate this match as Rob Van Dam comes from out of nowhere, tossing a chair at Lynn before dropkicking it into his face, forcing Jerry into taking a limp sit down in the corner! With gusto Rob adjusts a chair against Lynn's face as the OnCenter audience began to cheer for what's coming next! Rob jumps on the ropes! He takes his aim! He makes his leap!Van Terminato-GORE! GORE! GORE! Rhino just gave RVD a mid air GORE! But Jerry Lynn is out cold! There's no-

"It's the boss! And he's got a referee shirt on!"

With speed Shane McMahon slides into the ring, Styles commenting how McMahon must've been waiting for this in case Jerry couldn't keep his cool, begging Rob to get up but after a GORE! like that he barely moved as a surprisingly fair count echoed through the arena...1.....2....3! A somber Joey Styles reminding the audience at home that this loss meant that RVD and The Sandman didn't just lose a free title shot tonight, they lost their chances to challenge for the World Title for one whole year! And while usually fortunate, but just horrible tonight...ECW stipulations always stay.

(It's going to be a huge celebration tonight...but for nobody but The Standard, and they make sure everybody knows it was Shane holds up the arms of his two crown jewels. It's an interesting sight that Joey Styles comments on, the slightly disheveled but ecstatic Shane McMahon between a bleeding but laughing "Man Beast" and a still disoriented "Predator" that probably doesn't even recognize that they won the match yet. With resignation in his voice Joey Styles sends us off, telling the audience to tune in to Revolution TV, where tonight's fallout is sure to begin.)
