Damn WWE and TNA wanting the GOAT in Will Ospreay, works out at £6,096,000 for ten years and £609,600 a year. Without pay rises in the middle, definitely worth the money as he is the workhorse and cornerstone of ROH.</p>

I usually only use guys until they hit 40, a ten year deal for Ospreay at this stage he'd only be 38 at the end of his contract, so more of calculated investment than anything else.</p>

Especially for a 10 year deal? I find it hard to believe that after 10 years you are never going to have them in a segment period.</p>

Knowing my luck, they'd get that career-ending injury within 2 years or that new feature that makes them utterly toxic for 2 years even if you just keep them on the roster and never use them. Honestly, I don't see much of a reason for anything longer than 4 or 5 years because of the constant renegotiation mechanic that was added. You're not going to save much money, and with the way the AI stinks, you'll have utterly crushed any and all competition within that 5 years to where you're the only option for the worker anyway. Of course, I'm just that unlucky.

Yeah, that was my point. If they're in-ring only but end up retiring due to a hideous injury, you can't set them to authority figure or personality to use them in angles, and I don't think the game would take mercy on you by having them leave the business as workers tend to hang on if they have written deals.
