Does that make sense? If I want to be more in line with reality, should I make my shows hour and a half long instead of 2 hours? You do not actually book commercial breaks. The game just assumes that commercials take place at appropriate times.

BiffJordan
I have a couple questions regarding tv shows. I'm using a 1997 mod, and my first 2 shows have both had ratings over 10.0. What is a good work around here? Thanks. TEW PPV buys and TV ratings are not a real life simulation so they will always be higher than real life results, just an aspect of the game you have to accept. BiffJordan
Do house shows add wear and tear, or ever result in injuries? Wear and tear? Not that I have noticed. And yes absolutely they can, though generally injuries occur from a live event that you booked, and have to do with a multitude of occurrences which can happen. Is there something in particular you are concerned about?

You still have to book for the live audience, regardless of what's going on with commercials. You can simulate that by booking minor angles when you figure the commercial breaks might be, but remember that matches carry on through commercial breaks some of the time too.

You can also edit the broadcasters minimum requirements so that you don't meet them in the editor, cancel, and then reset the requirements if you wish.

Teh_Showtime
I don't think people actually account for the massive amount of minor angles that happen in reality (as opposed to more/longer matches to stretch for time)

Literally dozens of commentary discussion here and there, slight backstage shots, recaps and replays (that people never fail to complain about). Those can easily add up to an extra 20-30 minutes of tv time.
