<p>I should get some time after work tomorrow and maybe Friday so I will try to do what I can in terms of what has already been reported in this thread.</p><p> </p><p>

I am being helped with a huge Joshi scene overhaul too. southside_hitmen and Dr_Avalanche have sent me an invaluable spreadsheet to help me improve what is already there and potentially add some new stuff. This means at present, unless they are absolutely vital (champion) I won't be adding any one else to the data until I have finished that.</p><p> </p><p>

When it comes to stat debates, I'm always willing to look into them but what people need to take into account with their requests is the following; I know how good Gargano is, believe me. I also know how good Almas is having watched him for many years in CMLL but the problem with making them too good in game is they will want called up within the first few days. The balance has to be there between real life and the game mechanics, TEW was not really built to mirror the real world wrestling scene - it has it's own Universe - and some things have to be tweaked to fit game mechanics, otherwise you end up with an absolute mess where after 1 month the entire landscape has changed so much, you may as well be playing a fictional mod. I've changed hundreds of stats based on people's feedback, and will continue looking into things as they crop up. What I don't want happening though are people arguing back and forth and trawling through loads of "Yes he should, no he shouldn't" posts. Make your point, I'll look at all responses and decide what I think will work in game best. If someone disagrees with what you have put, just leave it because we're never going to all agree with each other when it comes down to them. At the end of the day, it's me you've got to convince. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

So set Gargano to "work down there", that could solve that problem.

Arguably but I think they are still trying to work on a few things with him to get him to make that jump in standard. Nobody questions his in ring ability, it's the mic thing that's holding him back. He's a throwback to the old pre 80's style guys - a real blue collar style worker who would have worked up a storm in that era when promo's weren't as important as they became post Mania 1. It's hard for those guys to cut through nowadays though because you look at the guys on the Main Roster and they can talk and wrestle. Gargano just needs to find that groove where his promo work cuts through. So arguably it might be that he's down there working on entertainment skills.

In news that may have slipped by

Impact Wrestling announced a new stable led by Gama Singh called 'Desi Hit Squad' will be debuting over the next few months. The group will consist of Rohit Raju (formerly known as Hakim Zane), Vikas Kumar, Gursinder Singh (Canadian indie talent Tony Cage), and Bhupinder Singh.

Here's the press release

Last year IMPACT Wrestling made history, taping our flagship IMPACT program in India for broadcast all over the world – becoming the first ever North American wrestling company to do so. Fresh off that huge success in Mumbai, we are excited to affirm our commitment to showcasing the most promising Indian performers. In the coming months a number of impressive new wrestlers will be featured on IMPACT in a group called Desi Hit Squad.

This group will be led by internationally renowned superstar Gama Singh and will also feature gifted athletes who are honored to represent India on a global stage. Today we're proud to introduce you to each member of this group.

Gama Singh

Few in the history of pro wrestling have had more experience and success in international wrestling than Gama Singh. Born in India, Singh and his family moved to Canada where Singh trained to wrestle in Calgary. Perhaps best known for his time in the famous home of the Hart family Stampede Wrestling, Singh travelled the world finding great success in countries such as Puerto Rico, South Africa and Japan. He now brings all that knowledge to help guide the next generation of Indian talent to success in front on an international audience.

Rohit Raju

Formerly known as Hakim Zane, the winner of the 2017 Global Forged competition – Rohit Raju has already made quite the impression on the IMPACT audience. Raju cut his teeth for years on the independent scene in the US and Canada before finally getting his shot on the big stage with IMPACT Wrestling. Raju's grandfather was from India and Raju, hailing from the southern Indian city of Hyderabad, is looking to represent his heritage in front of the world. "I am proud to represent my Indian heritage," Raju said, "and to carry the Raju name further as I enter the next stage of my career."

Vikas Kumar

Vikas Kumar is perhaps best known for his time as Pagal Parinda on the Ring Ka King program that was seen by millions on the Colors network in India in 2012. Born in the Indian state of Haryana in 1991, wrestling has always been a passion for Kumar. He is now moving to North America to further his craft with IMPACT Wrestling. Kumar, who also appeared on the IMPACT shows in Mumbai last May competing against Davey Richards, has seen great success in the grappling focused kushti form of wrestling – winning national medals at the Junior and Senior level, becoming a 4 time Bharat Kumar title holder and a 5 time Punjab Kumar champion. He looks to transfer that experience into success against some of the very best competition in the world in IMPACT Wrestling.

"I am anxious to leave my homeland to pursue this wonderful opportunity in North America and to make an impact on the pro wrestling industry." Kumar said about leaving India to further his career with IMPACT. "To leave India is a huge step but wrestling has been in my blood since childhood and I'm beyond thrilled to be alongside a legend in Gama Singh."

Gursinder Singh

Born in Crawley in West Sussex, England and raised in Australia – both Gursinder's parents are from Punjab, India (his father is from Gurdaspur and his mother from Hoshiarpur). Gursinder moved to Canada to train under Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy and pursue a career in professional wrestling. Having participated in the 2017 Global Forged competition, Gursinder opened the eyes of officials here in IMPACT and will now represent India to the world. A punjabi speaker, Gursinder's road to IMPACT Wrestling has passed through many countries as he seeks to make his mark in the world of professional wrestling.

Bhupinder Singh

Born in Chandigarh, India competitive combat sports has always come naturally to Bhupinder. From the age of 18 he participated in a number of bodybuilding competitions – winning many gold and silver medals in state championships going on to represent his city at national and North India bodybuilding competitions. Bhupinder went on to compete in kickboxing and wushu, winning double gold as he represented Chandigarh in nationals. Bhupinder, now 23 years old, then made the natural transition to professional wrestling – training under Indian legend The Great Khali at his Continental Wrestling Entertainment promotion and training academy. Singh will bring all that combat experience to IMPACT Wrestling and should prove a dangerous threat in the ring.

Under the tutelage of Gama Singh, this new generation of Indian wrestlers are sure to take the world by storm when they arrive on IMPACT in the coming months. There is no limit to the potential of the Desi Hit Squad.

<p>So Booker T says Corey Graves is the reason he is off the RAW commentary team and basically wants to fight him</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2018/0204/636686/booker-t-blames-corey-graves-for-losing-wwe-raw-commentary-job/" rel="external nofollow">http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2018/0204/636686/booker-t-blames-corey-graves-for-losing-wwe-raw-commentary-job/</a></p><p> </p><p>

He is of course seemingly oblivious to his very ordinary recent performances having anything to do with it. If I was a convicted Armed Robber who has a history of backstage fights and a fairly iffy dispensible position on the roster I would be exercising discretion shortly prior to the traditional WWE release season post Mania especially given the hiring of consummate hype man Jeremy Borash last week ... history suggests Booker of course lacks anything close to self awareness.</p><p> </p><p>

It could be a work but given the fact that Graves head makes Daniel Bryan's head look like Brock Lesnar's cast iron cranium health wise it seems unlikely. Graves could get concussed sneezing so the chance of a match is less than zero. </p><p> </p><p>

Strong Dislike seems the call here.</p>

<p>I've not kept a record of what I've added, removed, fixed etc... however RWC is coming along with the addition of Sendai Girl's and a general overhaul to some of the women in general in the mod. CHIKARA has had a tiny bit of work done to some of the pictures (like The Whisper being unmasked now after Ophidian won his "skin" back or Race Jackson who is now known as Blank). I've added a new Green Ant who seems to have popped up from the Wrestle Factory. Added a couple of workers to the database (I think maybe 15 new people:confused:)</p><p> </p><p>

I've done some of the fixes mentioned in the thread but not all of them.</p><p> </p><p>

Er... yeah, I've been a bit rubbish with my list to be honest.</p>

I have been contemplating this for a while now but I am really struggling when it comes to keeping RWC updated for personal reasons beyond my control (and it would seem beyond the control of medical professionals as well:mad:).

I'm not going to go into too much depth as it is private, but I just can't keep up with the absolute boring chore that updating RWC has become. To be honest, part of this has to do with the constant need to update Impact Wrestling like they are a new promotion every month, which is becoming tiresome. I hate Impact so the thought of constantly having to reshuffle their roster all the time is unappealing. I had a little bit of fun this time around with updating my (rough) Joshi scene thanks to a lot (and I do mean a lot) of help from southside_hitmen and Dr_Avalanche but right now, the fun part like updating that is being outweighed by updating the tedious things that need worked on.

I've also come to the conclusion that I'm just not that into modern day wrestling anymore and would probably rather work on other mods than this. I already do a paid job I hate and don't want to waste what little time I have free on something I have no interest in doing anymore.

Now, as I said it is probably my "personal reasons" that are making me feel like this at the moment so I don't want to say I'll never work on it again at this stage as down the line I may do, but honestly, adding people I truly couldn't care about has (at present) made me opt to release the data at the end of March and then make a firm decision as to whether there will be another update, or whether I am done with modern real world updates.

This is not a "talk me into continuing" post, this is a "heads up this could be the last RWC release" as I'm aware there are people who enjoy playing the mod and who may be disappointed to see it go. It also doesn't mean I'm done with modding altogether, it means if I do decide "Enough is Enough" I'm free to do other data sets that have had to be cancelled due to lack of time.

Thats hard to read Fleisch, bt it is understandable.

I dont do monthly updates, but i just can imagine how frustrating it could be with all the changes every month. Wrestling is a fast-paced business today, and if you don't follow it closely, you can miss a lot.

Have you ever thought about giving up RWC to a trustworthy person or team, and in six months or a year if you feel like getting back on board?

It would be a pity for the project, where so much work is involved, and so many people are happy with.

RWC is a great mod be a little sad to see it go but then modern wrestling just don't draw me the way it did. With that said i am looking forward to what Diablo X will have added to it and the Lego world with all the lego sets and games that can be a big roster.

Wow, this is a heavy one, no offense to TheWho or landxx, but this is by far the best real world mod in my, and many others, opinion.

Above all I wish you the best (there is, best there was, best there ever will be), your mod gave me some of the best times on TEW, from trying to deal with Vince McMahon dying after two shows to taking EVOLVE to national size.

P.S. F*** that owl!

If it's too tough then don't stress it. This stuff is just for fun and when it becomes too much like work then you need to step back either short term or long term. As much as I love your real world mod I don't expect you to do it if you aren't having fun. If you have to deal with something really stressful like a medical issue then I know full well how tough it is to keep doing something that feels like hard work.

This is rough to read but totally relatable man it'll be sad to see the best real world mod go away short term or permanently but when shit that's supposed to be a hobby turns into a chore it's never a good thing.

I'm going to try and remember what I've done and will be updating post #2 every now and then as I remember. Sorry, I have no idea why I didn't keep a list as I was going like I usually do. I've also almost done everything mentioned in the thread so far (except add Bhupinder Singh as I cannot find a pic of him yet... unless his real name is Varinder Singh Ghuman who is the only Indian bodybuilder I can find who it says transitioned to wrestling but looks nothing like the shattered glass Impact picture). Most sites give you a decent picture of the worker, but Impact being the annoying and pain in the arse company they are have to be difficult! Someone needs to put that Owl out of it's misery and shoot it!

<p>Fully understand if you want to scale back or even stop releasing this mod Fleisch, honestly the patience and determination you have shown to release it for as long as you have has been incredible and we are all very grateful.</p><p> </p><p>

On a positive note very excited that you're adding Sendai Girls, for the last year they have been on such a hot streak and I've always felt Chihiro Hashimoto and Cassandra Miyagi have been big misses in the mod!</p>

<p>TJ Marconi is an indy worker that might be worth adding.</p><p> </p><p>

6'6" 300+ pounder, most notably played "Nokken" in Chikara.</p><p> </p><p>

I know you are not always looking for people to add, but I feel filling out Chikara people (even from the past) is sometimes worth.</p><p> </p><p>

Sami Callihan & Mike Quackenbush should have at least strong dislike if not hatred. Callihan was the original Vokoder. Had to miss a show because a friend committed suicide. Quack asked for the costume which Sami had purchased himself and gave the gimmick away.</p>

A lot of people have mentioned how much of a douch Quack is so may change his personality. I also added Vokoder as an alter ego for Tim Donst.</p>
