I always have the most updated version of both Fleisch's and TheWho's MOD's and import workers when needed and then just alter their attributes to fit the MOD your playing with. TheWho has one of the deepest worker pools in TEW, and Fleisch has some of closest attribute sets to fit the real life feeling(in my opinion). Both do amazing work, and have been for quite some time now...least we can do is not bother them with the "minor" stuff.<p> </p><p> Just my opinion....</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Literally this! People are just too lazy to edit workers stats and pop themselves. I'm personally very grateful to Fleisch and all his hard work towards making the most realistic balanced mod and TheWho for providing all the other workers and a base stat/pop line to tweak/edit. Just those few ungrateful and rude people threaten to ruin everyone else's pleasure.</p>

<p>So first off, you're right, I should've started off with a thanks. I mean I really do appreciate this mod and the work that's been put into, and it is one of the better mods I've played. </p><p> </p><p>

As someone who lives out in the 'northwest region' it can be a bummer not having any promotions to play, which is why I asked. If you ever do decide to add new companies for any reason, I hope that you would add at least one to the NW region, I would recommend 321 Battle or Defy as they have been putting on tons of shows lately and are super active around here. It would be really cool to see the PacNW get some love. </p><p> </p><p>

Anyways, love the mod, bummed you aren't going to be adding anything, but I do still enjoy the world you built man.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Fix any anomalies.</p><p> Step 13: Add any company relationships</p><p> Step 14: Cut a logo for the promotion, any belt pictures that have been found and pictures for any new workers added to the database.</p><p> Step 15: Release the data and be told I got it all wrong.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: By the way, any feedback from those who like playing in Japan with regards the changes etc? That was one area I really hoped people would give feedback on but I've only had a tiny bit.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Also interested in Japan feedback after release as we made a ton of edits there. That spreadsheet Fleisch referred to before release on notes and such for this update was 19 tabs of roughly ~200 lines of edits per tab of tweaks and play-testing on Japan.</p><p> </p><p> Just for context on the above "steps" of adding a company to the data, I'd add these 3 as we used this process for all Japanese companies last update.</p><p> 1) Look at actual attendances over the past year and how they compare to other companies in their country to determine popularity [~1 hour]</p><p> 2) Log every match on cagematch for at least the past year (ideally 2) to get the correct match ratio for the company so they play correctly (What, NJPW doesn't run 80% 1v1 matches?) [~5+ hours]</p><p> 3) Run roughly 15 separate 1-year long test sims to make sure titles are defended the proper amount of times (or else you will see 30+ title defenses a year for a single belt on default settings) [15x 1.5 hours a piece = 22.5 hours]</p><p> </p><p> So, that's 28-ish hours of work to add one company on just those 3 steps I listed + the ones Fleisch listed as well. Let's ballpark it at roughly 40 hours to add a company "properly" to the data. </p><p> </p><p> To add to Fleisch's comments above, I personally put north of 100 hours of editing work into Japan for the latest update to get it ready for release and it was a grind... Dr_Avalanche probably put in ~40 or so himself as well.</p><p> Both of those pale in comparison to the work Fleisch does every update here.</p><p> </p><p> To the point made about adding workers, you can always just add a company yourself pre-game or import from who's mod if you really would like to anyway so it's no big deal.</p><p> </p><p> And RE: FREEDOMS - They were considered for the update as a recommended company in Japan, but they sit behind Michinoku Pro, K-Dojo, and Ice Ribbon in a little metric based on average of top 10 attendances, max attendance, and shows ran we put together for companies that HAD to be in for the big Japan update.</p><p> </p><p> They run far less shows than most of the other companies in Japan in the mod, and they don't make up for it in drawing power (compared to Sendai/Oz who are most like them in terms of shows ran, but who drew 2k and almost 4k houses respectively, FREEDOMS highest was 1,378 last year). So, I'd slot them behind the 3 companies I listed above in terms of "priority" to add to Japan. I can share a screenshot of the comparison if you would like to take a look further.</p>

<p>I am going to release an update at the end of the month to tie all the post Wrestlemania/Wrestlecon stuff together and the WWE roster shake-up.</p><p> </p><p>

This will not be a huge update filled with a lot of additions, mainly just the odd omission from the previous data and any title changes that may happen.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm actually doing this one off update for myself and a friend to start a game in May but figured I would share it here once done.</p><p> </p><p>

Away from RWC - Earth-2 and an update to Diablo X are starting to take shape. My hope is I can get them out at some point this year. Reina Chaos on the other hand is a bit up in the air as I still can't get the companies running the way I want in terms of show results.</p>

<p>Hey Fleisch, finally found some time to actually give your latest update ago and the update to the joshi scene has been fantastic. You are a credit to the forum and whilst it would be really sad to see an end to your real world mods, I just want to say thank you for all the work you've done with it over the years. </p><p> </p><p>
