PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

Monday, week 3, August 2011

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter and Bret Hart

All Seasons Arena, Mankato, Minnesota (5,280 capacity)

<img alt="DSC_0509_large_large_large.jpg" data-src="https://cdn4.sportngin.com/attachments/photo/6297/4306/DSC_0509_large_large_large.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Superstars of Wrestling starts with ‘The Greatest Champion’ Chris Jericho marching to the ring, looking mad. He heads straight for PSW Owner Potter at the announce desk and launches a mini tirade, asking who is running the show and what the heck is going on when The Greatest Champion in wrestling history is not even on a pay per view. Potter stammers and can’t find answers. Jericho grabs Potter by the scurff of his neck and lifts Potter up. Potter is clearly afraid of his one time ally, and tells Jericho he will “sort it out”. Jericho says “you’d better” and heads to the back. 65

In a safe house somewhere in nearby Minneapolis, Eddie Guerrero is with The Outlaws. He says he is delighted that they have the World champion and the World Tag Team champions s title bring power and money and they have it all right now. World champion Cade Thesz makes a toast to The Outlaws and they chink beer bottles. 49

Backstage and Adam Sandler thanks Joanie Laurer for not getting involved in Amazing Kong’s Women’s Championship match last night. Laurer says she didn’t do it for him, she did it for the fans because they wanted to see Rebecca Knox in a fair fight with Kong… “but this is for me” and she punches Sandler square on the jaw, dropping the Hollywood star. Laurer walks off, calling him “pathetic” as she does.

Adam Sandler came across well.

Joanie Laurer was very underwhelming.

PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

Monday, week 2, May 2011

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter and Bret Hart

Credit Union Place, Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada (2,498 capacity)

http://www.mjma.ca/getmedia/6573313a-5f5d-4c79-a481-51631a7cc7e1/Credit-Union-Place_04.jpg?width=1400&height=900&ext=.jpg

We start the show in the doctor’s room. Adam Sandler is really playing up being punched by Joanie Laurer last week, saying he was knocked out and still feels concussed. The doctor checks him over and confirms a concussion. Adam Sandler then speaks to a police officer who is acting as a bodyguard, telling him to arrest Joanie Laurer. He says he can’t as this is Canada, and the alleged offence happened in America. Sandler curses the “great white hell”. 88

Adam Sandler’s performance was good, he was masterful at improvising.

Raven and John Cena are on their own, discussing The Followers in the dark basement of the Credit Union Place. They agree that T. J. Perkins has done very well and has found his salvation in winning the TV Title. They also agree that Bray Wyatt still seems lost, and if they can’t help him then they can’t help him. 46

Backstage and Women’s champion Amazing Kong bumps into Joanie Laurer. The atmosphere is tense but surprisingly Kong says she respect Laurer as a fighter and for not getting involved in her title defence at Fans’ Choice. Laurer tells Kong that while she has “poor taste in men dating that pussy Sandler”, she respects her as a champion… but once she has won the Crowning Glory Women’s Series, she is taking the title at Crowning Glory XI. 52

Joanie Laurer v Melissa

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Joanie Laurer defeated Melissa in 9:48 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. 59

We are in down town Dauphin where in a bar we see The Outlaws drinking beer and getting drunk. They start singing and dancing and are having a great time, something that seems to increase when they start to beat up the locals and steal their wallets. Things come crashing down though when they are about to leave and they see Great Sasuke’s mask on a table next to the door… with no sign of him anyway. Eddie Guerrero starts to freak out, drunkingly shouting for him to show himself. 48

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Briscoe Brothers defeated Spanish Announce Team in 12:32 when Mark Briscoe defeated Jose Maximo by submission. 49

Jay Briscoe seemed off his game.

Briscoe Brothers have won their first 6 matches.

Chris Jericho marches to the ring. He crossly snatches a mic from the timekeeper and demands answers… demands to know who is running the show these days… demands to know within one week. He says if he doesn’t find out next week, the show is going to stop. 67

Chris Jericho was masterful improvising.

Kevin Steen has won 100 singles matches in PSW out of 154 and is the first to reach the milestone.

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter and Bret Hart

http://www.aldine.k12.tx.us/cms/ImageUploads/IMG_0480.JPG

We start with Chris Jericho sitting down in the ring. He says the only thing that is going to happen on this show tonight is him sitting in this ring unless he gets some answer as to who is running the show now. Adam Sandler walks down to the ring and Jericho does not seem pleased to see him. Sandler acknowledges they haven’t seen eye to eye before, but he says he has an idea but this is not the time or the place to discuss it. Jericho is sceptical and reluctant, but does leave with Sandler, hoping to find his answers. 88

Both men improvised very well.

A camera man is with The Outlaws iwithout Cade Thesz n the locker room. The group are mad and shouting. It becomes apparent that the group have been locked in. We go to another camera man outside the same locker room, and there is a Great Sasuke mask hanging on the door handle. 42

Sandler performed well.

Kong performed poorly.
