The sold out Sports Pavillion goes nuts as Steve Austin makes his way to the ring with his familiar stride and demeanour. Bret Hart talks about him being one of the best in the business while Potter can’t contain his delight at having the 2012 Royal Rumble winner in a PSW ring only a couple of weeks before WrestleMania. Austin gets a six pack from ringside and climbs into the ring.

Austin says that many people are probably wondering why he has come to PSW with WrestleMania just around the corner. Why would he give us his place in the main event of the biggest show of the year?

“Been there, got the t-shirt. And I’ve kicked everyone’s ass in WWE. It’s time for Steve Austin to kick some ass somewhere else… it’s time for Steve Austin to kick some ass in PSW.”

The crowd are besides themselves, until…

Raven leads Salvation to ringside. They don’t even get as far as the bottom of the ramp, as Austin starts hurling beer cans at them from the ring. Salvation are forced to duck for cover. When his six pack has run out, he nips out of the ring and pulls a crate of beer from under the ring. He gets back in and starts hurling them at Salvation. Raven shouts “He’s crazy” as he orders Salvation to retreat.

But then as Salvation are leaving, Chris Jericho slides into the ring and attacks Austin from behind. Raven spies an opportunity. He orders Salvation back to the ring. Aries, Puder, Cena, Dragon and Perkins all slide in and unleash a five on two assault on Austin and Jericho. Those numbers are too much for the two superstars and they are left lying on the mat. 76

In the backstage interview area stands John Cena without any other members of Salvation. He says he won Lethal for the second time in three years and he will do the same as last time and walk out of Anniversary…

...or not. Steve Austin meets him with a Stunner! Instead of finishing his sentence, Cena is left lying face down on the concrete. 70

Knox says she is a big, very tough women and that she is looking forward to their rematch at Jeopardy. Sandler then asks Knox about his wife, Amazing Kong-Sandler. Guerrero says they used to be at the top and now Raven runs the show, literally, Salvation are taking over. Guerrero says he needs to come up with a new plan to get back and run roughshod over PSW. All his Outlaws shout in support of their leader. 45

In the basement of the building, a wary Chris Jericho enters Raven’s ‘office’. He looks around to see if any Followers are around but Raven is alone. Raven laughs at Jericho, saying it was a great way to start tonight’s show. Jericho is furious. He says he doesn’t like being beaten up and he doesn’t like being cost the World Championship. Both Salvation and Steve Austin has done both. Jericho says he will deal with Austin later, but now Jericho wants in on the Jeopardy match at Jeopardy for the World Championship and he is willing to put anything on the line to be in the match.

Raven is very interested in this and thinks for a moment, before a big grin appears on his face.

“Join Salvation. Jericho, you lose and you join Salvation.”

Jericho isn’t happy, but he reluctantly accepts. 46

Chris Jericho has changed to a Suave gimmick, rated 68.

Salvation starts with Steve Austin in the ring. He says he’s come to PSW to kick some ass and right now he’s going to kick some ass. He calls out anybody who wants an ass kickin to get to the ring.

http://i.imgur.com/ILiAcXw.jpg

John Cena runs to the ring. He got a Stunner last week so he wants his revenge. He slides in the ring. Austin meets him and the two trade punches.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3LMAsjoo8TI" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Chris Jericho then runs out. He got a Stunner at Lethal which put him out of the World Championship match. He makes a bee line for Austin and he and Cena lay the boots into the former WWE Champion and current Royal Rumble winner. Austin doesn’t stand much chance against both Cena and Jericho and while he tries to fight back, he ultimately succumbs.

Then for a fleeting moment there is a truce as Cena and Jericho glance at each other. That is until they come to blows. A bevvy of security and officials enter the ring to break up the three way brawl as Salvation goes to it’s first commercial break. 66

Steve Austin looked good.

Hennig says he is delighted to be champion, it is something he has been aiming for for a while. Sandler says his wife is not only the meanest, baddest and best woman on the planet, she’s going to take the title away from Rebecca Knox at Anniversary Show XI and rip Knox to pieces in the process. 73

We start the show backstage where John Cena walks into Chris Jericho’s locker room. Tensions are high as Cena assures Jericho he is alone. Jericho is wary and checks outside and there seems to be no more of Salvation around. Cena says they aren’t friends, in fact they are much more like enemies… however tonight they have one common enemy, a man that has given both of them a Stunner… Steve Austin. Jericho replies that Cena is right, Austin is an enemy of them both… but that he does not trust Cena or Salvation so he is in this on his own. 56

‘The Greatest Champion’ Chris Jericho v ‘The Follower’ John Cena (with Raven) v Steve Austin

A good match between three bonafide stars. Age those is catching up with Austin as he was tiring towards the end of the match.

This came when Raven distracted referee Bruce Gray. This was supposed to allow Cena to punch Austin with some brass knuckles that Raven had slid into the ring. It backfired though, as Jericho beat Cena to the punch by hitting him with a low blow. With Cena down and not getting up any time quickly, Jericho turned back round to face Austin… STUNNER! Austin wins in 17:05 by pinfall on Jericho. Jericho is heading towards Jeopardy with a defeat, and if he loses there he will have to join Salvation… 74 – match of the night
