We start the show in the parking lot where Eddie Guerrero is awaiting the arrival of the World Tag Team champions. The leader of The Outlaws approaches CM Punk and Colt Cabana as soon as they get out of their car. He warns the champions that he has got his Outlaws ready for tonight and ready for Lethal on Sunday night. He warns them that if they don’t surrender their titles, then the consequences for them will be brutal. Punk and Cabana laugh Guerrero off, telling him they are used to their games and are ready for anything. <strong>69</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In the basement, Raven is flanked by all the members of Salvation except Austin Aries, who has just won his match. Raven says that Aries has shown the way to find Salvation. He then issues a chilling warning for World champions Keiji Sakoda, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho saying that “nothing of the champion is going to be left at the end of Lethal and Salvation will take full control”. The champions are left lying on the canvas, looking up at their foes. <strong>65</strong></p><p>

CM Punk is looking a little stale.</p><p>

Eddie Guerrero did good work at ringside.</p><p>

Thesz & Strong don’t work well as a tag team.</p><p>

Chris Jericho is behind the curtain prior to the main event. He says his focus is winning back the World Championship on Sunday night and then deal with any consequences from Salvation afterwards. He says he’s rather be a wanted man with the World Championship round his waist than an afterthought without the title. <strong>56</strong></p><p>

Chris Jericho improvised well.</p><p>

<strong>Lethal Tag Team Qualifier 1</strong></p><p><strong>

Ricky Steamboat Jr & ‘The Follower’ Super Dragon (with Raven) v ‘The Follower’ T. J. Perkins (with Raven) & Chris Hero</strong></p><p>

Interesting factor here is that Raven is ringside with one man on opposing teams and because of this he simply observes the match, while Dragon and TJP don’t physically attack each other, apart from when TJP broke up a Dragon pin which led to a shoving match before Raven shouts to them to calm down.</p><p>

The conclusion came in 12:38 when Chris Hero defeated Ricky Steamboat Jr. by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. <strong>60</strong></p><p>

<strong>Lethal Tag Team Qualifier 2</strong></p><p><strong>

‘Bad Ass’ Drew McIntyre & Eddie Kingston v Caprice Coleman & Air Paris</strong></p><p>

Kingston was on McIntyre’s team at Battle for Survival 6 so it probably came as little surprise when the pair took a pretty comfortable win in 8:30 when Drew McIntyre defeated Caprice Coleman by pinfall with a G-Spot. <strong>62</strong></p><p>

Eddie Kingston is improving in performance skills.</p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles is in the backstage interview area. PSW’s first and only Hall of Famer says it is about time he won back the World Championship and became the first four time World champion. </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>Lethal Tag Team Qualifier 3</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Stu Sanders & ‘The Perfectionist’ Jimmy Yang v Ricky Reyes & ‘The Future’ Marty Scurll</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Two Brits on opposing sides. Jimmy Yang proved to be the difference maker, he was a class above the others and propelled his pair to victory in 8:57 when Jimmy Yang defeated Marty Scurll by pinfall with a Yang Time. </strong><strong><strong>63</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Marty Scurll has switched to a The Future gimmick, rated 60.</strong></p><p><strong>

Jimmy Yang is improving in technical skills.</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>Lethal Tag Team Qualifier 4</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

‘Thrill Seeker’ Matt Sydal & Durrant Roy v Jay Lethal & ‘The Outlaw’ Roderick Strong (with Eddie Guerrero)</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Roy is a youngster with a lot of potential. However he’s not there yet and as such he did struggle a little in such company. This allowed Lethal and Strong to qualify in 5:56 when Roderick Strong defeated Matt Sydal by pinfall with a CX 02. </strong><strong><strong>64</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Durrant Roy and Roderick Strong are improving in rumble skills.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Keiji Sakoda is now in the backstage interview area. He acknowledges he has two outstanding opponents tonight in AJ Styles and Chris Jericho and it will be a very tough match. He says he is very tough and is going to remain the champion. </strong><strong><strong>49</strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>Lethal Tag Team Qualifier 5</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Bray Wyatt & Lance Storm v Jacob Crane & ‘The Follower’ Austin Aries (with Raven)</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Another youngster in Jacob Crane has a lot of potential and held his own for most of the match. Lance Storm knows his way around the ring and has seen pretty much everything and was the main factor in he and Wyatt progressing in 9:08 when Bray Wyatt defeated Jacob Crane by submission. </strong><strong><strong>49</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Aries and Raven are a good pairing.</strong></p><p><strong>

Jacob Crane is improving in technical skills.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>WOMEN’S LETHAL BATTLE ROYAL</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Jennifer Blake, Amazing Kong-Sandler (with Adam Sandler), Nikita, Nikki Roxx, Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Amy Hennig, Melissa, Shantelle Taylor and Lorraine St Hubbins</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Kong-Sandler was the hot favourite in this one and showed it by eliminating Roxx, Hennig, Taylor and LSH early in the match. The other five remaining then decided to work together to get Kong-Sandler out but weren’t able to manage it.</strong></p><p><strong>

Once Blake and Kim were eliminated, Beth Phoenix dumped out Melissa. Nikita then essentially eliminating herself by charging at Phoenix who ducked, resulting in Nikita flying over the top rope. This left Phoenix and Kong-Sandler. Phoenix is a strong woman, but even she couldn’t hoist up the massive Kong-Sandler, who mauled Phoenix over the top rope and gain a Women’s Championship match at Anniversary Show XI. </strong><strong><strong>61</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Gail Kim and Shantelle Taylor are improving in rumble skills.</strong></p><p><strong>

Nikita is improving in technical skills.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>PSW YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

‘Clean Cut’ Joe Hennig (champion) v Valiant Leclerc</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

A solid match between two of PSW’s brightest young stars. Hennig won the title vacated by Marty Scurll last month by defeating Jacob Crane and here he defeated another worthy adversary in Valiant Leclerc. His triumph arrived in 10:54 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. Joe Hennig makes defence number 1 of his PSW Youth Championship title. </strong><strong><strong>51</strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>PSW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Joanie Laurer (champion) v Rebecca Knox</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

A really good match, one of the best womens matches seen in PSW. Everyone expected Laurer to continue her dominance over the women’s division, everyone except Rebecca Knox that is. Knox is one tough girl, and takes the fight to anyone. She took the fight to Laurer and it surprised her much bigger and stronger opponent. Knox’s grit and toughness won her the day and her surprise win arrived in 12:13 by submission. Rebecca Knox wins the PSW Women's Championship title. </strong><strong><strong>66</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Rebecca Knox has won her last 8 matches.</strong></p><p><strong>

Joanie Laurer has lost her first match in PSW after 12 wins.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>PSW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Chicago’s Finest (champions) v The Outlaws (Red & Daniels, with Eddie Guerrero)</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

These two teams have been rivals for a long time and their latest battle was another high quality affair. The difference tonight was Red was poor. Daniels was seen frustrated on the apron as Red couldn’t string offence together. This led to the champions retaining in 22:17 when CM Punk defeated Amazing Red by submission with an Arm Triangle Choke. Chicago's Finest make defence number 7 of their PSW World Tag Team Championship titles. </strong><strong><strong>79</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Amazing Red was really off his game.</strong></p><p><strong>

Chicago’s Finest have won their last 13 matches.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

J. Perkins, Chris Hero, ‘Bad Ass’ Drew McIntyre, Eddie Kingston, Stu Sanders, ‘The Perfectionist’ Jimmy Yang, Jay Lethal, ‘The Outlaw’ Roderick Strong, Bray Wyatt and Lance Storm</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Predictably the two Outlaws and two Followers worked together in the match and helped each other get deep into the contest.</strong></p><p><strong>

Early eliminations included Mark Briscoe, Quackenbush, Williams, Sanders, Lethal and Wyatt.</strong></p><p><strong>

Cade Thesz was the biggest threat in the match as he chalked up five eliminations.</strong></p><p><strong>

The final four came down to Thesz, Yang, Cena and Steen. Steen got rid of Yang to leave him with one Outlaw and one Follower. He initially watched on as the other two ripped into each other. However, seeing Steen taking it easy in the corner, the other two seemingly agreed a temporary truce to eliminated PSW’s only Grand Slam winner. With Steen now on the floor at ringside, Cade Thesz of The Outlaws was left battling John Cena of Salvation.</strong></p><p><strong>

It was Raven who left the happy leader with Cena hoisted Thesz over the top rope. Cena celebrated in the ring, knowing he has a World Championship match at Anniversary Show XI, the second time in the last three years Cena has won Lethal. Last time he became the first man to win Lethal and leave Anniversary Show as the champion. Will he do it again? </strong><strong><strong>77</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>PSW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Keiji Sakoda (champion) v ‘Hall of Famer’ AJ Styles v ‘The Greatest Champion’ Chris Jericho</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

A great match, one that had action and suspense from the off and a big surprise at the finish.</strong></p><p><strong>

For the first half hour, it was a great triple threat match. All three men were very close to winning only for one of the others to break up the pin or submission attempt if the struggling opponent didn’t escape themselves.</strong></p><p><strong>

Then things got crazy. Raven led Salvation down to the ring minus John Cena. Austin Aries, Daniel Puder, Super Dragon and T. J. Perkins surrounded the ring. In the ring Sakoda, Styles and Jericho were obviously distracted and ready for the four to climb in. However they didn’t…</strong></p><p><strong>

In the corner of the shot, a bald man could be seen climbing over the barricade. He went straight up to Austin Aries… STUNNER!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><img alt="rzZ4trl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rzZ4trl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

The crowd go crazy, as do Potter and Bret Hart at the announce table. One of the biggest names in wrestling has showed up at PSW Lethal 2012. Seeing the commotion, the other members of Salvation make their way to Austin only for one by one be picked off with a Stunner for their troubles, with Daniel Puder the last one to fall.</strong></p><p><strong>

Meanwhile in the ring, Chris Jericho takes advantage by attacking Keiji Sakoda. He hits him from behind and nails a Lionsault, only for AJ Styles to break up the pin attempt and toss Jericho out at Austin’s feet. Austin picks up Jericho… STUNNER! In the ring, Styles has Sakoda set up for the Styles Clash and hits it. </strong></p><p><strong>

3</strong></p><p><strong>

We have a new World Champion!</strong></p><p><strong>

AJ Styles defeated Keiji Sakoda by pinfall with a Styles Clash in 36:48. AJ Styles wins the PSW World Championship title for the fourth time. </strong><strong><strong>88 – match of the night</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Steve Austin debuts with a Rebel gimmick, rated 52.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

AJ Styles celebrates in the ring, holding aloft the PSW World Championship belt. Steve Austin climbs in the ring with a six pack of beer. He tosses one to AJ, who opens it and starts to drink. Austin picks one out, opens it up and goes to AJ for a toast… before he shakes his head, drops his beer… STUNNER! The new champion is laid out and Steve Austin has made a huge impact in his first appearance in a PSW ring. </strong><strong><strong>67</strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>
