Pro Wrestling LION is a new British wrestling promotion, the brainchild of long-time veteran wrestler, promoter and trainer Robert 'British Samurai' Brown. Along with his long-time friends and colleagues Humphrey Woolsey (head referee) and Walter Morgan, Brown set up Pro Wrestling LION in late 2015 to offer the British public what 21CW could (or would) not - hard-hitting, balls-to-the-wall athletic contests between the best wrestlers from around the world. From the Japanese Puroresu and Burning Path styles, to the classic Canadian style of the Stones, to Mexican lucha libre. Also heavily featured of course will be the British catch wrestling style fostered in the hard, unforgiving gyms of Wigan and the north, as well as the European technical styles favoured on the continent. LION are working closely with Ultimate European Wrestling to showcase some of their talented wrestlers along the way.

At first glance, Jonni Lowlife might not look like much, and it's true that he's unbearably cocky, but many wrestlers have underestimated him and paid the price. Lowlife has proven just as adept at getting under his opponents skin as he has that of the fans.	A clinical technician, both well-rounded and well-traveled, Barry learned the ropes on the British wrestling scene in the early 90s, but is perhaps better known for the decade he spent in Japan with Golden Canvas Grappling. He's also wrestled in America and across Europe, but has now headed home to be part of Pro Wrestling LION.	As old-school as they come, Walter Morgan has been around the British wrestling scene for over 20 years. Now semi-retired and a trainer at the Ring of Fire dojo, Walter still wrestles now and again to show the younger generation how it's done, and make no mistake, he's still a dangerous opponent.	A policeman by trade, Keith Adams is nonetheless an accomplished wrestler and was a star of the Ring of Fire. For the last decade, Keith has been concentrating on his career with the Metropolitan Police, but LION are proud to announce that he will be competing on occasional LION shows in the forthcoming months.	As his nickname suggests, Glen Ward is a fiery individual, known for his judo background. His trips and throws are his preferred method of dealing with foes, but over his decade-long career he has become a very well rounded wrestler capable of taking on any challenge.

'The Brewin' Storm' Lenny Mochin is an intense up-and-comer with a bright future ahead of him, trained by our very own British Samurai. The no-nonsense technician loves picking opponents apart with a wide array of holds and suplexes.	Padraig O'Hearne is a young Irish wrestler, highly touted for future success. Another product of the Ring of Fire Dojo, O'Hearne is hoping to show the world that he is worthy of his illustrious classmates from that school.	By far LION's biggest wrestler, Robert 'Meathead' Mcaullie has surprising athletic ability for a man his size. Nobody is pretending he's the most gifted technical wrestler on the roster, but with his size and power, he doesn't need to be!	CJ is a veteran British wrestler who is best known for his time spend state-side with Mid Atlantic Wrestling, where he was a fixture on their roster for many years. He has recently decided to return home to Britain, and is eager to progress through the ranks here in LION and build a name for himself on this side of the Atlantic.	An extremely accomplished and respected martial artist, Razor Valentine was an established name in European wrestling, before leaving for Japan a few years back to work with the world's top martial artists. Now back in Europe, the 45 year-old is keen to show off his skills in LION's multi-style environment.

The youngsters have only been wrestling for four years, but have a bright future ahead of them.	Jon Michael Sharp and 'Magic' Martin Heath are, at first glance, a couple of pretty boy posers, but once they get in the ring they're quick to show off a wide array of dazzling high-risk moves that have wowed audiences across the country.	The TimeBandits, Ian Vincible and Cannonball Logan, are often underestimated because of their size (especially Ian), but after eleven years working together, they know a thing or two about tag team wrestling.

	Pierre and Jacques DuPont are, of course, French. As such, they're never going to be well loved by the British crowds and these brothers are far from likely to break the mould. This shouldn't take away however from their skills in the wrestling ring; the DuPont Brothers are very fine wrestlers indeed.

A British export, Billy Robinson is a gifted technical wrestler who went under-appreciated for most of his time in England, before leaving to wrestle for SAISHO in Japan last year. He aims to return now and show his home nation what they're missing.	Formerly seen in the prestigious North of the Border Pro Pro Wrestling, Conner is an accomplished mat technician who has wrestled throughout North America. We're thrilled to have him here at Pro Wrestling LION.	Ray is a rare American practitioner of the Japanese influenced 'puroresu' style of fighting. He's struggled to get noticed in his American homeland, and has welcomed the opportunity to come to LION and show everyone what he's capable of.	A product of the world-famous Pride Glory Honor Wrestling dojo in Japan, Satou has come to Europe on excursion in order to gain experience, and is looking forward to being put through his paces by the wrestlers here in LION.	Trained by HINOTE Dojo while they were still under the umbrella of the mighty Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods promotion in Japan, Tanaka is a young up-and-coming junior wrestler. As with his countryman Satou, Tanaka has come to Europe on an excursion, and will also be working for our friends at Ultimate European Wrestling over on the continent.

A talented wrestling announcer, Martin has worked many independent wrestling events after being trained by the National School of Wrestling.	Bloydell's analyst and co-commentator, Young is a vastly experienced broadcaster, having worked for Men of Steel Combat for many years, along with several other companies. Also hosts regular radio shows, both wrestling-related and otherwise.	LION's resident ring announcer, odd-job man and, most importantly, maker of tea. Goldstein is a recent graduate of the National School of Wrestling, and has come to LION to gain experience in his craft.	LION's senior official, Humphrey held the same post for Ring of Fire for many years, and there are few more experienced officials in all of wrestling.

Although putting Ward over makes sense, Morgan is more talented and over. Ward will have his day, but Morgan is too good to not beat Ward here

Little bit disappointed you have Threepwood face Joey here, although Threepwood ain't over, he could get over in this tournament. But putting him up against Joey isn't gonna make that happen

I'm still looking at Snow and thinking he's going over but I just can't force myself to bold him... I'll regret this I think. I'm going for Griffin cause of his overness, but Snow is young and talented... should be a stormer of a match though

My gut says Morgan, my head says Robinson. Morgan is a LION guy, so to speak. He doesn't wrestle for a different company, and will more than likely be fine with dropping it, on the other hand, Robinson is younger, more over and talented so it's clearly obvious that Robinson is the better choice, but Beauchamp is also a "non-LION" wrestler being in UEW, I go Robinson due to overness really, might as well. I'm sure these guesses are completely wrong anyway

With both guys being "foreign" commodities (not their nationality, their contracts with other companies) my gut says neither of these guys will get this far in your actual tournament. Nevertheless, I pick Robinson due to him being younger

Funny to see this pop up just as I've started getting into catch wrestling and World of Sport. I'm curious if Billy Robinson's name is just a coincidence or if he's named after the real life Billy Robinson. This looks like it's going to be a fun one!
