Dark Phoenix Wrestling: A Woman Scorned

Prologue

“Hey Mickey, una cerveza por favor,“ Kate Avatar sits alone at the end of a dingy bar, three empty beer bottles in front of her. It is 10:35 am on January 4, 2016, but Kate has for the most part lost all track of time.

“Sure thing Hell Cat,” the bartender pops the cap off of a Corona and places the bottle in front of the former booker of Babes of Sin City.

“Come on Mickey, I told you not to call me that anymore,” Kate downs the beer quickly before signaling for another one.

“They told me I'd find you here.”

Kate’s body tenses up before she turns around to meet the familiar voice, “You’re just about the last person I expected to see today.”

Tamara McFly places a large bag on the floor before sitting down on the barstool next to her former boss, “They say the best surprises are the ones you don’t see coming.”

“If you are here to reminisce Tammy, I’m really not in the mood,” Kate turns back to the bar and grabs another freshly opened bottle of beer.

“You mean about the time you became the booker of BSC and immediately asked me to drop the title?” Tamara smiles with no hint of bitterness in her voice.

“That was business.”

“And so is this.”

“Fine, I’m listening,” Kate knocks back half of her beer before looking at Tamara.

Tamara lets out a sigh, “I’ve got one or two more matches in me…and I want them to mean something.”

“No offense Tammy, I would love to have another match against you but no one will hire me, even if you paid them. I already had a strike against me for what happened with Cathy Quine all those years ago, but Honey’s catastrophe has gotten me blacklisted from all half-decent promotions.”

“I know Kate; you’re not the only one who lost when BSC closed its doors. You think anyone wants to hire a 37 year-old woman to wrestle? SWF and TCW only want valets with pretty faces. Alicia is the gatekeeper for USPW and holds a vendetta against anyone she ever had to put over. QAW treats anyone even remotely associated with BSC as radioactive, and AAA will only hire them as jobbers. Hell, even my brother can’t get me a job with NOTBPW.”

“Your point Tamara?”

“The women in this business need more opportunities; they need someone who took a company full of strippers and turned it into the hottest promotion in wrestling…they need you.”

“Tammy, I’m on the wrong side of 30 with a bad neck and ribs that hurt whenever it rains. If you’re asking me to start my own company, you’re barking up the wrong tree.”

“Remember at All In III, when the Angels of Mercy reunited and the pop almost blew the roof off of the building? That was you, that was your idea. That all came from your brain; the months of planning, planting the seeds. You still have that in you Kate, I know you do.”

Kate takes a few dollar bills from her pockets and throws them on the bar before standing up to leave, “Whether or not that is true Tamara, what makes you think I would even be successful?”

Tamara smiles before taking a large object out of her bag and tossing it onto the bar.

http://i.imgur.com/dw8jdk2.jpg

“How did you manage to get that?” Kate looks down at the BSC Queen of the Ring title belt, transfixed.

“Because I’m not the only one who thinks you can do this.”

Diary explanation

Hi everyone. This is my first attempt at a diary like this after thinking about doing one for a long time, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

One thing to know for this diary is that it takes place in a modified CornellVerse that is more of a continuation of my TEW2010 playthrough. It will center on Kate Avatar, the former booker of Babes of Sin City, which in the diary universe folded in July 2015 instead of November 2012. As such, I have changed the stats and age for Kate to match her TEW2010 version instead of the TEW2016 one. This Kate’s popularity has been reduced to E+ in the South West USA and F in all other North American regions to reflect the impact of the collapse of BSC on the perception of her.

No stats or popularity for any other wrestlers were changed prior to starting the game. This is akin to everyone in the universe treating BSC achievements like they never existed due to the scandal attached to that company. Some character pictures, like Kate’s, have been changed to match the TEW2010 versions.

The company Kate will be starting is Dark Phoenix Wrestling, based out of Las Vegas. The promotion starts out with $10,000 in cash and no one on the roster other than Kate. The company’s starting popularity is 1% in the South West USA and 0% in all other regions.

My plan is to post at least one chapter a week, with each chapter containing some story elements along with a match card for that month’s event. The eventual goal is to get DPW to a weekly schedule of shows with one special event per month.

<p>Chapter 1: From the Ashes</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Chapter 1: From the Ashes</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Kate Avatar stands in the gorilla position, waiting for her entrance music to start. In this case, the gorilla position is a propped open emergency exit door in the alley outside of Mickey’s bar, but Kate tries to keep her focus all the same.</p><p> </p><p>

She still could not believe that Tamara had convinced Paige Croft to give her the BSC Queen of the Ring title. If Paige believed in her enough that she was willing to give away a belt she could have easily sold for $50,000, then Kate knew the least she could do was give starting her own promotion a chance.</p><p> </p><p>

The result had been a hectic past two weeks for the owner of the newly christened Dark Phoenix Wrestling. She managed to convince Mickey to let her use his bar for the first event before moving on to finding a couple of wrestlers to work the undercard. </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

In the middle of a push when Babes of Sin City shut down, Claire Winters had been more than willing to work with her former boss again. Kate believes Claire’s MMA-inspired gimmick will fit in nicely with what she envisions for DPW’s product, so she immediately began working on a storyline for the “Ice Woman” in order to get her over again.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

There were also a couple of young wrestlers Kate had scouted before Babes of Sin City collapsed that were available. Ariel Breaks and Sandra Shine had not wanted to be part of BSC’s risqué product in the past, but out of work, they were more than happy for the opportunity at a paycheck. </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/piZUmbD.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Glorious Gloria filled out the initial roster. Kate had not been impressed by what she saw in videos of the former bodybuilder, but Gloria would work cheap and that was the most important factor right now with Kate funding the promotion with her last $10,000. </p><p> </p><p>

To save money, Kate decided to work as the primary road agent tonight, with Sandra acting in that capacity during Kate’s match with Tamara. A high school teacher from Canada had answered the Craigslist ad for a referee and Mickey’s nephew volunteered to record the matches with his phone so that the videos could be posted to YouTube and DPW’s new website afterwards.</p><p> </p><p>

Not everything had been so easy. Even with fliers and Facebook posts hyping Tamara’s final match against a mystery opponent, less than twenty people had shown up at Mickey’s bar for the event. Despite the low turnout, Kate hopes that word of mouth will spread quickly enough that DPW won’t fold before it even really gets a chance to get off of the ground.</p><p> </p><p>

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p>

The first strains of Korn’s “

</p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/xmOOGeZE-aE?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Korn - Did My Time (Official Video)"></iframe></div></div>” play through the sound system of Mickey’s bar and Kate rolls her head from side to side to get ready. She walks through the emergency exit door, not knowing what reaction to expect.<p> </p><p>

In the bar, the small crowd looks slightly confused, not recognizing the entrance music for Tamara’s mystery opponent. As Kate walks past the curtain that hangs in front of the emergency exit, she sees recognition spread across the faces of the paying customers who have turned to look at her. Most cheer and clap their hands, but a few boo.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate pulls the Queen of the Ring title from behind her back and lifts the belt high above her head with both hands. The crowd pops louder, and as Kate scans their faces, she recognizes most of the people as hardcore BSC fans that had attended that promotion’s shows back when they were lucky to sell even a hundred tickets for an event.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate clears her throat as she walks down an improvised aisle between folding chairs and towards the makeshift ring where Tamara stands. With such a small crowd, no microphone is needed, but Mickey does Kate a favor by turning down the wrestler’s entrance music before she starts speaking. </p><p> </p><p>

“It sounds like a couple of you remember me,” Kate smiles at the members of the audience while looking side to side. </p><p> </p><p>

As the most of the crowd chants “Welcome back! Welcome back!” Kate enters the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

“As some of you might have guessed, I am here to give Tamara McFly the match of her life before she rides off into the sunset. But what you might not know is that the stakes tonight are just a little higher than that. What I hold here in my hands is the Queen of the Ring title,” Kate looks up from the belt to more cheers from the crowd, “and our match tonight will be to see who gets to hold this championship once and for all.” Kate draws in a long breath before shouting her catchphrase for the first time in over six months, “My name is Kate Avatar, and I’m here to raise hell!”</p><p> </p><p>

The referee takes the title from Kate and holds it up for all the crowd to see. Kate walks over to Tamara and extends out her hand. “You ready?” Kate whispers.</p><p> </p><p>

“No time better than the present,” Tamara smiles as the bell rings.</p><p> </p><p>

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p>

Twenty minutes into their match, both Kate and Tamara are breathing heavily. Tamara has Kate locked in an armbar, with the latter attempting to drag herself to the ropes in between feigning tapping out.</p><p> </p><p>

For most of the contest, the two wrestlers had gone for stiffer moves than the crowd was accustom to in BSC, but the audience so far seems willing to go along for the ride.</p><p> </p><p>

The majority of the eighteen people in attendance are on their feet and cheering as Kate reaches the ropes with an outstretched leg. The referee hesitates for a moment before signaling for a break. </p><p> </p><p>

Tamara obliges and gets to her feet. She picks Kate up off of the mat, but Kate elbows her in the stomach. Kate tries to whip Tamara into the corner, but Tamara reverses and Kate hits the turnbuckle with a thud.</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara runs towards the corner but Kate rolls out of the way, causing Tamara to hit the turnbuckle shoulder-first. Kate takes advantage of her opponent being temporarily stunned and scoops Tamara up for a Michinoku Driver.</p><p> </p><p>

After slamming Tamara down, Kate covers her, and as the crowd counts along, the referee slaps the mat 1-2-3 for the pin.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate rolls off of Tamara and onto the mat as both wrestlers catch their breath. The crowd cheers as Kate rises to her feet first and lifts her right arm above her head in triumph.</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara is slower to get her feet, selling a look of dejection at having lost her retirement match and a chance to hold the Queen of the Ring title again. Before the referee can reach Kate, Tamara takes the title belt from him and walks over to the victor. After a brief nod, Tamara hands Kate the title and lifts her opponent’s left hand into the air.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate smiles through the sweat running down her forehead before putting the title over her shoulder. She lowers her arm and encourages the crowd to start clapping for Tamara. Tamara smiles as if embarrassed before finally following Kate’s urging to take in the adoring cheers of the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

And that’s when Kate grabs Tamara around the waist and suplexes her across the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Chapter 2: Fire Within

Chapter 2: Fire Within

February 20, 2016

10:30 PM

Mickey’s Bar a mile outside the Las Vegas Strip

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg

Kate Avatar stands in the middle of a makeshift ring, letting a cascade of boos wash over her. She looks out at the crowd of two dozen people and prepares to release all the pent up anger she has been keeping inside for the past eight months.

“Oh yeah, that’s right, keep booing. I see we’ve got a lot of tough guys in here. Must be the same tough guys that decided to throw beer bottles at me last month while I was kicking Tamara McFly’s ass.”

“You suck!” a random member of the crowd yells.

“What? Are you mad because I’m not your sweet little angel anymore? Well, guess what, what I did to Tamara McFly last month is just the beginning. She wanted a retirement match, well I can guarantee after the beating I gave her, she will never set foot in any ring again!”

“I’ve been sitting at home since July and in that short time, you all forgot all about me, all I did for you. You believed all the lies about me, no one came to my defense! The truth is, you all don’t deserve me, you never did.”

“I put five years’ worth of my blood, sweat, and tears into building BSC, and just like that it was all taken away from me. Not because I did something wrong, but because Honey Golightly screwed me over!”

“Well now I’m back, and you all will never be able to forget what I am going to do!”

“My name is Kate Avatar…and you can all go to hell.”

The vitriol from the crowd reaches a crescendo as Kate leaves the ring and heads out of the bar.

Opening Match: “Ice Woman” Claire Winters vs Sandra Shine

http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg VS http://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg

A rematch from last month’s event, where Claire Winters dominated Sandra Shine before forcing her to submit to the Ice Breaker (Disarmer). The Ice Woman once again controls the match, landing series after series of stiff strikes and kicks to the ‘oooh’s’ and ‘aaah’s’ of the crowd. Claire appears to be almost toying with her opponent as she gets Sandra in the Ice Breaker, only to release the hold before Sandra can tap out. Claire calls for Sandra to get up, and when the small blonde does, the Ice Woman nearly takes her head off with a spinning heel kick before mercifully going for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Claire Winters

Match Rating: E-

As Claire celebrates her victory to light boos,

begins playing through the bar’s sound system.

http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpg

Amy Galaxy, wearing her trademark low-cut silver bodysuit, enters the bar to some cheers. Claire scowls at the veteran of the Southwest independent scene as the latter enters the ring. The Ice Woman finally decides to leave, but continues to glare at Amy as she walks away.

Segment Rating: F

Match #2: Amy Galaxy vs Velvet Suarez

http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpg VS http://i.imgur.com/YNQZbsf.jpg

Amy Galaxy faces off against Velvet Suarez, who is also making her debut in DPW tonight. The two wrestlers start with a long feeling-out process, which quickly tests the patience of the crowd. Someone in the audience shouts, “Take it off,” which results in a sideways stare from Amy. Velvet gets a few chances to show off her high-flying moves, but Amy dominates most of the action. The final sequence comes nearly seven minutes into the match when Amy dodges a flying elbow from Velvet and hits the Time Warp DDT on the purple masked wrestler for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Amy Galaxy

Match Rating: F+

Amy Galaxy celebrates her victory by leaning over the ropes and blowing kisses to the crowd. Suddenly, Claire Winters blindsides Amy and proceeds to land a series of punches to the head of the Girl from the 22nd Century.

“No one steals my spotlight!” Claire shouts before locking in the Ice Breaker on Amy. The crowd boos until the referee is finally able to convince Claire to let go of the hold. The Ice Woman gives one more kick to the head of her prone victim before leaving the ring to more boos.

Segment Rating: F+

After the referee helps Amy out of the ring, Korn’s “

” begins playing in the bar. The crowd instinctively boos before even seeing Kate Avatar. Once the wrestler appears from behind the curtain covering the emergency exit door, the boos grow louder. Kate walks up the aisle that divides the crowd, a cocky smile on her face. The crowd boos more, but Kate’s smile grows wider, as if the audience’s derision only serves to make her stronger.

Halfway to the ring, the wrestler stops in front of the heckler from Amy’s match. Kate pulls back her hand as if in preparation to give the fan a backhanded slap. The flabby man flinches, much to Kate’s delight.

Continuing up the aisle, Kate enters the ring and shouts in the most condescending tone she can muster, “My name is Kate Avatar, and you can all go to hell!”

Segment Rating: C

Main Event: “Hell Cat” Kate Avatar vs Ariel Breaks for the DPW Queen of the Ring title

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg VS http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpg

In a preview of the action to come, Ariel surprises Kate with an enziguri at the sound of the bell. The match remains evenly fought throughout, with Ariel using her speed and quickness to evade Kate’s power and technique. Ariel even manages to reverse Hell Cat’s attempt at a suplex into one of her own, drawing the crowd further into the action.

Seven minutes into the match, Kate locks Ariel into the Hell Cat’s Cradle, a stepover toehold sleeper. To chants of “Ariel! Ariel!” Breaks drags herself and her attached opponent to the ropes. Ariel grabs the bottom rope, but the referee forgets to call for Kate to release the hold, so Kate rolls herself and Ariel back into the middle of the ring while keeping the hold locked in. The referee then jumps in to separate them, causing Kate to yell at the ref for his incompetence. Ariel takes advantage of her distracted opponent, rolling up Kate up for a two count.

The two combatants continue the back and forth match, displaying a good level of chemistry for their first ever meeting. At the twelve-minute mark, a visibly exhausted Ariel is unable to lift Kate for another suplex. Kate reverses the hold into the Dark Phoenix Driver and covers Ariel 1-2-3 for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Kate Avatar

Match Rating: D-

Kate catches her breath, selling that she did not expected such a battle from Ariel. Hell Cat picks Ariel up from the mat and hits another Dark Phoenix Driver on her. Kate smiles at the booing crowd before stomping on Ariel some more.

http://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg

The crowd pops hearing Simony Sentinel’s entrance music from BSC. The Violent Violet runs through the crowd and into the ring. Kate stops her beatdown of Ariel and turns to face her new foe.

Simony manages to dodge a right hook from Kate and then lands a dropkick to Hell Cat’s chest. Kate rolls out of the ring, holding her neck while cursing at Simony and the crowd. Simony helps Ariel to her feet while Kate retreats out of the bar. Simony holds up her arm to more cheers from the crowd.

Segment Rating: E+

Post-Show Dark Match: “Violent Violet” Simony Sentinel vs Glorious Gloria

http://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg VS http://i.imgur.com/piZUmbD.jpg

Simony Sentinel wins in dominating fashion over Glorious Gloria. The Violent Violet hits all her signature moves, including the Sentinel Strike (a 450 splash from the top rope), before getting the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Simony Sentinel

Match Rating: F

Kate’s music plays once the match is over and Hell Cat appears to more boos. She jumps into the ring and begins brawling with Simony. The two trade blows back and forth, but eventually Kate gets the upper hand. Her face red with rage, Kate hits the Dark Phoenix Driver on Sentinel.

Kate continues kicking Simony’s midsection, “You think you can come in here and stick your nose in my business?! Let’s see how tough you are. Next month, you and me in a match, and I’ll end you just like I ended Tamara!”

Hell Cat gives Simony a stiff kick to the head. With her victim out cold, Hell Cat rips off Simony’s top and holds it up to the jeering crowd as a trophy.

BSC History

Because the history of BSC will play an important role in this dynasty, I’ve included information on BSC at the time that promotion went under in July 2015.

In the resulting bankruptcy proceedings, AAA bought up BSC’s video library and trademarks, along with all of the promotion’s existing performer contracts. Titleholders were allowed to keep their belts after the bankruptcy judge ruled that these were never property of BSC as they had been funded and maintained by the wrestlers themselves.

Titleholders:

Queen of the Ring (Main Event level): Paige Croft

High Roller (Mid-Level): Emma Bitch

Girl Power (Tag Team): Blonde Ambition – Suzanne Brazzle and Zoe Ammis

Athena Champion (Tournament): Deborah Young

Show List:

Weekly TV Show: The Strip Show

January Event: Let it Ride (Royal Rumble-like over the top battle royale for a spot in title match at All In)

This is great!

Thanks!

And hoping debutant is Brooke Tyler.

Ah, Brooke is definitely on the wishlist, but unfortunately she is under a written contract with NOTBPW right now. Ironically, she had an inadvertent role in bringing down BSC, so hopefully she will make her way back to Las Vegas one of these days. :)

Chapter 3: All in All I

Chapter 3: All in All I

Live from Mickey’s Bar

Crowd: 26

Crowd Drunkenness: High

Pre-Show Dark Match: Glorious Gloria vs Sandra Shine

http://i.imgur.com/piZUmbD.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg

Sandra runs circles around Gloria, who is gassed less than three minutes into the match. The crowd tries to engage in the action, but Gloria’s lack of skill and Sandra’s lack of experience results in the audience quickly losing interest. Mercifully, Sandra hits the Rise and Shine (super hurricanrana) on Gloria and gets the pin.

Winner via Pinall: Sandra Shine

Match Rating: F+

Show Opening:

Referee Gregory Chapman asks the crowd to be silent for a ten bell salute in tribute to Mary Beth Chase. After the fifth bell, “

” begins playing throughout the bar.

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg

Kate Avatar appears from behind the curtain to immense boos. Kate walks slowly to the ring, egging the crowd on with each step. She mouths “What?” a few times and shrugs her shoulders before entering the ring. “Oh, I’m sorry, did I interrupt something?”

http://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg

The crowd erupts in cheers as Simony Sentinel enters the bar, pointing her finger towards Kate, “Of all the no good, disrespectful…this is not the Kate Avatar I know, this is not the Kate Avatar that took me under her wing and showed me the ropes.” Simony flips her purple bangs out of her eyes as she enters the ring.

“You’re right, Simony. I’m not the same person I was back then. I’ve learned what a horrible, evil business this is. I’ve learned that I need to be just as horrible and evil if I want to survive in it!” Simony bursts out in laughter, which Kate returns with a look of utter incredulity, “What’s so funny!?!”

“Look at you, you really think you’re the Dark Phoenix? Pssh, you’re not even Jubilee,” Simony continues to laugh along with the majority of the crowd that understood her reference.

Kate seems less than amused, especially when she pops Simony in the jaw with a right hook. Simony recovers quickly enough to block the next blow. The Violent Violet then lands a few punches of her own before sending Kate backwards with a dropkick, much to the crowd’s audible joy.

Hell Cat leaps back to her feet and charges at Simony, spearing the Violent Violet to the mat. Kate rains punches down on Simony’s head, but Sentinel manages to roll Kate over and begins landing blows of her own.

Gregory Chapman tries unsuccessfully to separate the two wrestlers, but eventually Simony is able to toss Kate from the ring. Simony raises her right arm to cheers from the crowd as Kate retreats towards the backdoor, wiping a trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth as she goes.

Match #1: Ariel Breaks vs Velvet Suarez

http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/YNQZbsf.jpg

In a fast-paced match that manages to build on the crowd heat generated by the opening segment, Ariel and Velvet trade high-flying moves back and forth for seven decent minutes. Ariel manages to overcome a rake to the eyes from Suarez to hit Breakerfall (a German suplex) before going to the top rope for an Ariel Spiral (corkscrew moonsault) and the win.

Winner via Pinfall: Ariel Breaks

After Ariel leaves the ring, Amy Galaxy enters the bar to “

.” The Girl from the 22nd Century does not radiate her usual bubbliness, but instead has a serious look of determination on her face as she steps inside the ring.

“Last week, I made my debut in DPW, only to have it ruined by Claire Winters,” Amy pouts to sympathetic boos from the crowd. “I know, right? Well I’ve been thinking about this all month, and I think I figured it out…Claire just doesn’t know how to have fun!” Amy’s bright smile returns as she bounces up and down in the ring to some cheers.

Segment Rating: E-

Match #2: Amy Galaxy vs Claire Winters

http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg

Claire’s overconfidence costs her early on as Amy manages to counter the majority of the Ice Woman’s strikes with blows of her own. After a clothesline knocks her to the mat, Claire gets up holding her jaw and nodding her head, as if acknowledging there might be more to the wrestler in the silver bodysuit than Winters thought.

Claire ups her intensity from there, eventually locking in the Ice Breaker on Amy. The two are too close to the ropes though and Amy grabs on to the bottom rope with her right hand as if her life depended on it. The referee forces Claire to break the hold, which results in a stream of curse words from the Ice Woman.

After ten minutes of action that makes an already hot crowd buzz, the Ice Woman loads up for a spinning heel kick, but Amy ducks and then lands the Time Warp DDT.

Galaxy goes for the pin, one – two – but Claire kicks out.

As Amy turns her attention to the referee to question his ability to count, Claire blindsides Galaxy, dropping her to the mat. Winters drags Amy to the middle of the ring before locking in the Ice Breaker once again. Galaxy struggles for a few moments, but with nowhere to go, Amy taps out.

Winner via Submission: Claire Winters

Match Rating: E+

Claire Winters keeps the Ice Breaker locked in for a few extra moments until the referee’s count finally convinces her to release the hold. Amy rolls back and forth on the mat in agony, clutching her left arm.

“I don’t have fun bitch, I break limbs!” Claire shouts at Amy.

With help from the referee, Amy rises to her feet. Claire walks over and the two wrestlers have a staredown. Amy looks away for a second, and the Ice Woman takes the opportunity to give Galaxy an open-handed slap to the face.

Enraged, Amy tries to get to Claire, but the referee holds Galaxy back. Claire leaves the ring with a smirk plastered on her face as Amy continues to curse at her.

Segment Rating: E

Boos echo throughout the bar as Kate’s entrance music starts. Hell Cat enters from the front door this time and heads for the ring, smiling the whole way. With her arms outstretched, Kate looks up at the ceiling and shouts, “My name is Kate Avatar, and you all can go to hell!”

Segment Rating: C

Main Event: Kate Avatar vs Simony Sentinel for the DPW Queen of the Ring title

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg

Kate begins the match by tempting Simony into a test of strength. Once Sentinel agrees by reaching up to grab Kate’s hands, Hell Cat kicks her in the stomach and laughs.

Despite Kate’s early advantage, the match turns out to be an evenly fought, open affair as the two wrestlers display a great amount of chemistry born from long hours spent training together in BSC.

Fourteen minutes into the match, Simony appears to be gaining the upper hand. Hell Cat is dazed after a Pele kick, and Sentinel goes to the top rope to attempt a flying cross body. Simony leaps, but at the last second, Kate manages to pull the referee in front of herself and Simony goes crashing into the man. Sensing that her opponent is finished, Kate smugly lifts Sentinel up for the Dark Phoenix Driver, but Simony manages to counter with a hurricanrana.

With Kate down on the mat, Simony climbs to the top rope for the Sentinel Strike, but Deborah Young rushes into the bar from the front door and shoves Sentinel. Simony lands on the mat with a thud as the crowd boos Young's interference in the match.

Kate gets back to her feet around the same time as the referee. She picks Sentinel up and this time connects with the Dark Phoenix Driver. Kate covers Sentinel and the referee counts to three as the audience voices their displeasure.

Winner via Pinfall and still DPW Queen of the Ring: Kate Avatar

Match Rating: D

The voices of the crowd become hoarse as they attempt to boo the result as loudly as they can. Kate instructs Deborah to pick Simony up and the 245-pound woman complies before hitting the Devastator (a sit-out powerbomb) on Sentinel. Mute and with no emotion on her face, Young picks up the Violent Violet and slams her to the mat one more time. Some in the audience began throwing beer bottles and trash into the ring as Kate urges Young to continue the assault on Simony.

Kate looks to the crowd, pointing to herself and Deborah, “This right here, is the Bad Sisters Club, and we don’t take shit from nobody!” Kate leans out of the ropes so the Mickey’s nephew can get an unobstructed close up on her face, “And Cathy Quine, I’ve got a legal notice for you! Kiss my ass!”

Segment Rating: E-

Post-Show Dark Match: Deborah Young vs Natalie DiMarco

http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/oMX9Z9a.jpg

A complete squash that keeps getting delayed by the referee as the crowd continues to throw bottles and trash into ring. Deborah overpowers Natalie at every turn, showing off her arsenal of vertical suplexes and sidewalk slams. Young connects with an especially vicious powerbomb, and then continues to slam the lifeless body of her opponent into the mat over and over again until the referee finally stops the match.

Kate enters the ring, clapping her approval at her acolyte’s handiwork. Hell Cat and Deborah stand in the ring with their hands raised in triumph as the crowd reigns down boos and whatever else they can get their hands on.

Winner via Stoppage: Deborah Young

<p>Chapter 4 Interlude: Sponsor for Hire</p><p> </p><p>

“Hello, this is Kate Avatar,” Kate puts her cellphone up to her ear, interrupting her dinner as she sits alone in her small apartment.</p><p> </p><p>

“Hey Kate, it’s Rolando from Saraha Liquor.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Oh hey Rollie, I’m glad you called. I haven’t seen your check for sponsoring our next event come through yet.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah about that…” the other end of the phone goes silent for a few moments, “I’m afraid we won’t be able to be one of your sponsors anymore.” </p><p> </p><p>

“What do you mean?! We already have your store on our flier that’s all over town.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m sorry Kate, but we got a letter from some law firm saying that ‘any continued affiliation’ with you or your company could bring me into a lawsuit for ‘aiding and abetting’ if you got sued.” </p><p> </p><p>

“Rollie,” Kate laughs in a combination of anger and contempt, “I have an old…let’s call her an acquaintance; she’s the one that sent that letter. She’s just trying to intimidate you. There’s nothing she could ever sue you for.” </p><p> </p><p>

“But I can’t take that kinda chance Kate. The costs of hiring lawyers alone would ruin me. Again, I’m sorry, but goodbye.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate hears a click and puts down her phone. She checks her email to find several similar messages from various sponsors. Kate does the math in her head and realizes that DPW will be short at least $1,000 every month for the foreseeable future. “How the hell do you lose 60% of your sponsorship money overnight?!”</p><p> </p><p>

With DPW having less than $8,000 in the bank, Kate knows that her original plans for the rest of the year would now bankrupt the company. “You win this one Cathy…” Kate mumbles to herself before settling in to rewrite nine months’ worth of booking.</p>

Chapter 4: Spring Fling

Pre-Show Dark Match: Amy Galaxy vs Glorious Gloria

http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/piZUmbD.jpg

A short bout between the ten-year veteran and the rookie former bodybuilder. Amy Galaxy spends most of the match playing to the crowd, while Gloria relies on constant headlocks to catch her breath. Gloria eventually manages to get Galaxy into the Glorious Full Nelson, but Amy is able to push backwards and ram Gloria into the corner, forcing her opponent to release the hold. Amy then hits the Time Warp DDT and covers Gloria for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Amy Galaxy

Match Rating: E-

Show Opening:

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpg

Kate and Deborah enter the bar to boos from the crowd. Hell Cat has her customary smirk plastered across her face, while Deborah’s face remains blank and expressionless. The two wrestlers enter the ring and Kate eggs on the crowd to boo more. “Last month, I taught that little insignificant speck Simony Sentinel a lesson I thought she would never forget,” the crowd cheers the mention of Simony’s name, but that pop quickly disappears as Kate continues to talk, “But no! She had to go on social media to complain that she got robbed, that she got cheated. Well, guess what? I can’t help if I have friends that want to help me. Isn’t that right Deborah?”

“I serve only one…” Deborah proclaims in a monotone voice.

“That’s right,” Kate nods towards Young before turning her attention back to the crowd, “and if Simony thinks the only reason I won was because I had help, then I guess I am just going to have to beat her within an inch of her life one more time. And just to make it fair, we’re going to make this a cage match. And no, not one of those cheap cage matches that end when someone manages to get to the floor. No, in this one, the only way to win is by pinfall or submission, and trust me Simony, you’ll never be able to do either one on me!”

The crowd boos as Kate leaves Deborah in the ring to face her next opponent. Sandra Shine comes out to Kayne West’s “

”, a worried look on the blonde's face at the prospect of having to face Young in a match.

Segment Rating: D-

Match #1: Deborah Young vs Sandra Shine

http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg

Sandra puts up some fight against the hulking brawler, but Deborah’s power eventually wears down the small blonde. Sandra tries to hit a huricanrana on Young, but can’t manage to move Deborah at all. Young takes the opportunity to hit the Devastator on Shine, knocking Sandra out. Deborah shuns a pin attempt for another powerbomb, and then another, before the referee finally takes mercy and stops the match.

Winner via Stoppage: Deborah Young

Match Rating: E

Match #2: Ariel Breaks vs Velvet Suarez

http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/YNQZbsf.jpg

A rematch from last month that plays out mostly in the same way, with Ariel and Velvet flying around the ring in a fast-paced bout. Velvet manages to get in slightly more offense this time, but the crowd doesn’t appear to be interested.

Seven minutes into the contest, Velvet hits Ariel with a running bulldog and then goes for the pin. Despite Suarez grabbing a handful of tights, Ariel manages to kick out. With Ariel still recovering on the mat, Velvet goes to the top rope for a moonsault, but Suarez hits the mat with a thud as Ariel rolls out of the way. Ariel then climbs to the top turnbuckle and lands the Ariel Spiral for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Ariel Breaks

Match Rating: E-

Match #3: Claire Winters vs Natalie DiMarco

http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/oMX9Z9a.jpg

A complete disaster of a match, in which Natalie’s desire to be a spot monkey fails to mesh with Claire’s brawling style. Claire spends most of the match working over DiMarco’s right arm, while Natalie gets in a few high risk moves, but not enough to engage the crowd.

The end finally comes when Natalie attempts a flying cross body from the top rope, only to be met by a spinning heel kick to the head. Instead of going for the pin, Claire locks in the Ice Breaker, forcing DiMarco to tap out.

Winner via Submission: Claire Winters

Match Rating: F+

Claire celebrates her victory to light boos from the disinterested crowd. Suddenly, she is blindsided by a red-faced Amy Galaxy. Amy beats down Claire with a series of punches and kicks. The audience doesn’t seem to know how to respond to a face enacting such revenge, but a few people in the audience cheer as Amy throws Claire from the ring.

“Next month, you – me!” Amy yells at Claire as Winters picks herself up from the floor of the bar. The Ice Woman can only manage to stare daggers at Galaxy as she retreats to the back.

Segment Rating: F+

Amy Galaxy leaves the ring to a smattering of applause, but those quickly turn to boos as “

” starts playing throughout the bar. Kate Avatar appears from behind the curtain with Deborah Young following close behind her.

“Tonight, in front of all of you slack-jawed morons, I will end that purple headed freak once and for all.” A couple of hired construction workers quickly begin assembling a structure made of chain-link fencing around the ring once Kate enters through the ropes. “And once I break Simony, I’ll have Deborah pick her up for the Devastator and you all will never see the Violent Violet in DPW ever again!” Kate points to her acolyte standing outside the ring as the crowd continues to boo.

Kate outstretches her arms and looks up at the ceiling, “My name is Kate Avatar, and you all can go to hell!”

Segment Rating: C

Main Event: Kate Avatar vs Simony Sentinel in a Classic Cage Match for the DPW Queen of the Ring title

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg

The crowd rises to their feet to cheer as Simony makes her first appearance of the night. The Violent Violet high-fives members of the audience as she heads towards the ring. Once Simony has stepped through the ropes, the construction crew finishes putting the cage together and the referee calls for the bell.

Displaying the same great chemistry that they demonstrated during their match last month, Kate and Simony go all out in trying to one up each other. Reversal after reversal and counter after counter result in a fast pace that draws the crowd in. Some in the audience find the intensity of Kate’s punches and Simony’s kicks to be more than they expected, but the crowd still hangs on every move as the two opponents lay into one another.

Ten minutes into the match, Kate rakes Simony’s face across the cage. Sentinel responds by elbowing Hell Cat in the nose. Kate tries to whip Simony across the ring, but the Violent Violet counters, sending her opponent into a weak spot of the fencing. That section of the cage falls to the floor, sending Kate tumbling out of the ring.

With the crowd cheering, Simony moves to the floor to take the fight to her downed opponent, but Deborah steps in her way. Sentinel looks up at Young, who reaches out to grab Simony. The Violent Violet ducks under Deborah’s grasp and lands an enziguri to the head of the 245-pound woman. With Young stunned, Simony runs back into the ring, climbs to the top of the turnbuckle, and dives onto Deborah.

Simony gets to her feet with a roar, but having recovered from her bump, Kate hits Simony from behind. Hell Cat picks up part of the cage and slams the fencing onto Sentinel. Kate drags Simony back into the ring and hits the Dark Phoenix Driver on the Violent Violet. Hell Cat then covers Sentinel 1 – 2 – 3 for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall and still DPW Queen of the Ring: Kate Avatar

Match Rating: D

With the cage structure in tatters, Deborah Young reenters the ring, her face still expressionless. Kate instructs Young to pick Simony off the mat by the hair. Deborah complies and lifts Sentinel up for a powerbomb.

http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg

Maria Guest rushes in from the back of the bar to come to the defense of her long-time tag team partner. The crowd cheers on Maria as she lands a dropkick to Deborah’s chest, forcing Young to drop Simony. Maria then turns her attention to Kate, landing a belly-to-belly suplex on Hell Cat.

Guest turns around only to be grabbed around the throat by Deborah, but Sentinel recovers in time to get Young’s attention with a kick to the legs. Maria and Simony run at full speed and bounce off of the ropes to land simultaneous dropkicks on Deborah, sending the large brawler out of the ring. Kate joins her acolyte in retreat as the reunited Doll Parts stand together in the middle of the ring, triumphant.

Post-Show Dark Match: Maria Guest vs Velvet Suarez

http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpgVShttp://i.imgur.com/YNQZbsf.jpg

Maria carries over the emotion from the preceding brawl into her first match in DPW, but Velvet, in her second contest of the night, is unable to match Guest’s energy. The crowd cheers Maria as she slaps the figure-four leglock on Velvet, but Suarez manages to get to the ropes. As purple masked wrestler recovers to her feet, Maria climbs to the top rope and leaps, hitting Velvet with a flying cross body. Maria manages to stay on top of Suarez as they hit the mat together, and the referee counts to three for the pin.

Winner via Pinfall: Maria Guest

Match Rating: F+

Simony joins Maria in the ring to celebrate Guest’s victory as Kate and Deborah appear at the back of the bar. The members of the Bad Sisters Club walk slowly towards the ring as the tag team of Doll Parts prepares for a fight. Simony and Maria look at one another before picking up speed to dive out of the ring at their enemies.

With Sentinel in the air, Kate pulls a chair from behind her back and nails the Violent Violet in the head with it. Deborah manages to catch Maria, and slams Guest to the wood floor of the bar. With Simony out cold, Kate clears off a nearby table and tells Deborah to lay Maria across it. Hell Cat then points to Sentinel. Young picks up Simony, then powerbombs her through both Maria and the table.

With their rivals sprawled across the floor, Kate and Deborah turn to the crowd and raise their arms to boos.

Blanking out on who's available - maybe Joanna Silver?

Joanna is a fun one that I never got to sign to BSC because of minimum psychology requirements given by Honey. She is still relatively expensive given her skill and popularity, but maybe in time she'll join the roster. :)

I might do something after the June show that details the other women rosters out there. In general, DPW's booking will be influenced by past storylines and relationships in BSC, as with the hiring of Maria Guest.

<p>Chapter 5 Interlude: Perhaps You Had Better Start from the Beginning</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Six years earlier...</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

January 27, 2010</p><p>

11:16 PM</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Kate Avatar sits in a back office of Piper Casino, working away on her laptop, when a knock on the door interrupts her train of thought, “Who is it?”</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/Sn1eoo3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

“Hey Kate, Honey said you wanted to see me,” Tamara McFly, with a worried expression on her face, pokes her head into Kate’s line of sight.</p><p> </p><p>

“Oh Tammy, I’m glad she told you. Please, sit down,” Kate moves a stack of folders labeled ‘Prospects’ and ‘Veterans’ from a chair in front of her desk and motions for Tamara to sit down. </p><p> </p><p>

Tamara accepts the invitation and settles in, “Your match against Vampella was the highlight tonight,” Kate opens her mouth to respond, but Tamara interrupts, “but of course, I wasn’t on the card.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate gives a half-smile and then a sigh, “Yes, about that…I’m not going to b.s. you Tammy. Next week, you’re going to drop the title.”</p><p> </p><p>

Every muscle in Tamara’s body tenses as she stares up at the ceiling. Her fingernails dig into the wood of the chair as she strains to keep her composure, “To who…”</p><p> </p><p>

“As of this moment, Alison.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Are you serious?! Alison Capone?! She’s locker room poison!”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yes, but she’s also the most over heel we have in the company.”</p><p> </p><p>

“So that’s what it’s all about, crowd reactions instead of actual skill?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Tamara…”</p><p> </p><p>

“I won the title just two months ago,” the indignation rises in Tamara’s voice as she struggles to stay in her chair.</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, they say the best surprises are the ones the audience doesn’t see coming,” Kate attempts to sound cheerful, but fails miserably.</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara closes her eyes and lets out a long sigh, “Are we done here?”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate hesitates before opening her mouth, “No, there’s one more thing…we’re going to repackage you with a new gimmick.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I swear to God Kate, if you make me act like some stripper or porn star…”</p><p> </p><p>

“No, no, nothing like that. Just the skilled veteran who has seen everything and done everything. ‘Old School’ Tamara McFly is what we are going to call you."</p><p> </p><p>

“Key word being ‘old?’”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate pretends that she didn’t hear Tamara’s comment as she avoids making eye contact with the current Queen of the Ring, “In order to make this gimmick change effective, we will need to keep you off of the show for ninety days.”</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara's neck starts to turn red from keeping in her pent up rage, “This wouldn’t have anything to do with me being the highest paid worker on the roster, would it?”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate squirms in her chair before nodding her head, “Yes, unfortunately that is part of it. Money is, let’s say, tight. Candy Floss is going to be held off of the show for three months too.” </p><p> </p><p>

Tamara shakes her head and stares to the side, “Look Kate, I’m not going to fight you on this. You’re the booker and you can do whatever you want. But you should know, I gave up everything to come here; burned every bridge. Not for the paycheck, but because I believe this company can be more than a glorified strip show.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Tammy, I want the same thing you want. I’ve watched your thirty-minute match with Sensational Ogiwara at least a hundred times, but our fans aren’t ready for something like that. You can’t go from the Champagne Room to Masterpiece Theatre overnight,” Kate glances up at Tamara to make sure she is buying in, “So for now, we give them their bikini contests; we give them strip humiliations. And slowly but surely, we start slipping in actual wrestling with actual wrestlers. If everything goes right, in five years we can be the biggest Women’s promotion on the planet.”</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara’s body relaxes as she becomes resigned to her fate, “I’m never going to get that title back, am I?”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate swallows hard before answering, “I mean…we’ll see.”</p><p> </p><p>

Tamara gets up from her chair and looks at her boss, “Then promise me this Kate; promise me that in five years I won’t regret being a team player, that in five years I won’t look back and realize that I wasted the last years of my career. Promise me that when my niece grows up, that if she worked here, she would be judged on her talent and not her looks.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate looks back directly into Tamara’s eyes, “I promise.”</p><p> </p><p>

Without another word, Tamara turns around and heads out of the office. After a quiet moment of relfection, Kate goes back to her laptop to plan out a few more weeks in the life of BSC.</p>

<strong>Chapter 5: Red Alert</strong></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Pre-Show Dark Match: Deborah Young and Kate Avatar vs Glorious Gloria and Natalie DiMarco</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span><strong>VS</strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/piZUmbD.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/oMX9Z9a.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

More a demonstration of power and dominance than a match, Kate and Deborah warm up for tonight's main event by taking out their combined aggression on Gloria and Natalie. DiMarco takes the brunt of the abuse, with Gloria wisely refusing to tag in on several occasions. Deborah throws Natalie around the ring like a ragdoll before tagging in Kate, who locks in Hell Cat’s Cradle on DiMarco, forcing her to tap out.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winners via Submission: Deborah Young and Kate Avatar</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Show Opening:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As Natalie and Gloria retreat to the back, Kate flips off the booing crowd to provoke even more vitriol from the crowd. </p><p> </p><p>

“Oh yeah, boo all you want, but what you see right here is the most devastating force in Women’s wrestling today,” Kate gestures to herself and Deborah as the audience continues voicing their displeasure. “I am the brains, pulling all the strings, too smart to be stopped. The woman standing next to me is 245-pounds of pure power and destroys only on my command.” </p><p> </p><p>

“I serve only one…” Deborah intones.</p><p> </p><p>

“But in case any of you missed it, it seems we have a pest problem around here. Last month, we went from having one insignificant speck to two,” the crowd cheers at the insinuation of Maria and Simony. “Well, cheer all you want because tonight, the Bad Sisters Club are going to send those two specks through tables! We're going to squash those little pests like the bugs they…” </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd pops as Simony and Maria enter the bar. Simony moves her purple hair out of her face before addressing the two wrestlers in the ring, “You know Kate, you and She-Hulk may be a Club, but me and Maria are a team. And that means we’ve been through the ups and downs together. Whatever you throw at us, we’ll conquer it together because our bond is just that strong.” The crowd wildly cheers Simony’s words as Sentinel and Guest walk forward.</p><p> </p><p>

The tag team partners near the ring as Maria points at Kate before speaking, “And if you think you are going to squash us just like that, then you don’t know Doll Parts.”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony and Maria enter the ring and are immediately met by punches from Kate and Deborah. The two sides brawl back and forth, spilling to the outside. Bad Sisters Club appear to get the upper hand as Kate and Deborah double-team Simony, but Maria grabs a steel chair to force Doll Parts’ rivals back. A tense staredown ensues as Maria keeps the chair at the ready. Satisfied that they've at least broke even in this exchange, Simony and Maria retreat to the back as Hell Cat and Young head for the bar’s front door.</p><p>

Match #1: Ariel Breaks vs Velvet Suarez</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpg</span><strong>VS</strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/YNQZbsf.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The third time is not the charm for Velvet as Ariel wins again in this re-rematch. Unlike last month, the crowd is still hot from the previous segment, which seems to energize the two competitors in the ring. Ariel takes a different strategy this time too, relying more on technical moves to ground the high-flying Suarez. </p><p> </p><p>

The finishing sequence even manages to get the crowd hotter, with Ariel superplexing Velvet to the mat, then leaping back up to the top rope and hitting Ariel Spiral for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

Match #2: Amy Galaxy vs Claire Winters – Shoot Fight</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpg</span><strong>VS</strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

A shoot fight in name only, as the company doesn’t bother with the cost of erecting a cage around the ring. Instead, referee Gregory Chapman warns the competitors that he will disqualify them should they take the fight outside of the squared circle.</p><p> </p><p>

Claire begins the match by cracking her neck and knuckles in an attempt to intimidate Amy. If Amy is scared, she doesn’t show it, as the Girl from the 22nd Century takes the fight to the trained kickboxer. Unfortunately for Amy, Claire is too skilled, and soon the sounds of Winters’ kicks on Galaxy’s flesh ring throughout the bar. Amy fights back through sheer will, managing to get in enough offense to keep the match even.</p><p> </p><p>

For twelve minutes, Claire and Amy go all out in attempt to steal the show. The crowd is buzzing as Amy locks up Claire for the Time Warp DDT, but the Ice Woman reverses the hold into a suplex. Galaxy hits the mat hard and rolls over onto her stomach as she tries to recover.</p><p> </p><p>

Claire, full of swagger, strides over Amy and lazily slaps on the Ice Breaker. Galaxy takes advantage of her opponent’s overconfidence by shifting her weight and pushing up with her legs, causing Claire to flip over and land on her back. With the Ice Breaker still locked in, the referee counts 1 – 2 – 3 for the flash pin and the upset.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winner via Pinfall: Amy Galaxy</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Amy sells being shocked as the referee lifts her arm in victory. Galaxy begins bouncing up and down in celebration when Claire hits her with a stiff spinning heel kick to the head. With Amy on the mat, Claire proceeds to pound her victim’s face over and over again, eventually opening a gash above Galaxy’s right eye. Satisfied with her work, Claire taunts the crowd before turning back to Galaxy and spitting on her. Winters then leaves the ring while the referee helps Amy to her feet.</p><p>

Once Amy is out of the ring, “

Kate and Deborah walk to the ring with determination in each step. While the crowd boos, they each grab a folding table and slide the wooden boards into the ring.<p> </p><p>

The Bad Sisters Club step through the ropes and Kate turns to address the crowd, “The one thing I know about Doll Parts is that their name is perfect, because tonight, me and Deborah are going to leave those bitches in pieces. My name is Kate Avatar, and you all can go to hell!”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Event: Deborah Young and Kate Avatar vs Doll Parts – Table Elimination Match</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span><strong>VS</strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/9odiyrV.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The match starts with Kate taking on Simony and Maria facing off against Deborah. Doll Parts try to keep up with the brawling style of their opponents, but the punches of Kate and Deborah soon become too much for Maria and Simony. Sliding out of the ring, Sentinel and Guest psyche each other up while Hell Cat and Young set up tables inside the ring. Simony and Maria decide to take the opportunity to slide more tables into the ring before jumping back in to rush at the Bad Sisters Club.</p><p> </p><p>

Ten minutes into the match, Simony and Maria are reeling from the punishment they have taken. Kate instructs Deborah to prop up a table vertically in a corner of the ring. The set up complete, Deborah goes back to fighting Simony, while Kate clubs Maria across the back. Hell Cat then grabs Guest across the waist for a German suplex. </p><p> </p><p>

The crowd does the math and buzzes as Kate looks to throw Maria into the table. The blonde wrestler is able to elbow Kate in the face, once – twice – three times, forcing Hell Cat to release her grip. On the other side of the ring, Sentinel has managed to stun Deborah with an enziguri, so Maria whips Kate into the ropes and signals to her tag team partner.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate bounces off of the ropes and Doll Parts hit stereo dropkicks on Hell Cat, sending Kate out of the ring. While Sentinel keeps Deborah at bay, Maria climbs to the top rope and leaps towards the floor. Guest nails Kate with a flying cross body, popping the crowd. With Kate down, Maria slides back into the ring, joining Simony attempt to double-suplex Deborah into a table. The 245-pound wrestler, however, reverses the move and lifts both of her opponents over her head in an amazing feat of strength. Doll Parts roll out of the ring to regroup.</p><p> </p><p>

Simony is first to reenter the ring, but is met by a punch from Deborah. Young grabs Sentinel with an eye towards powerbombing the Violent Violet through a table, but Maria saves her tag team partner with a chair shot to Deborah’s back. Young turns around, enraged, but Maria hits Deborah in the head with the chair, staggering Young. The tag team partners whip Deborah into the corner where the propped up table still stands. Young goes crashing through the wood, shoulder first, and is eliminated.</p><p> </p><p>

Deborah rolls out of the ring and to the floor of the bar, selling that she is knocked out. Doll Parts have little time to celebrate, as Kate gets to her feet and steps back into the ring. Even with the numbers advantage, Maria and Simony have a difficult time defending themselves from Kate’s attacks. Kate even manages to get Simony up for the Dark Phoenix Driver, but Maria intervenes and sends Kate to the mat. The tag team partners pick the dazed Hell Cat up and place their opponent on a table. Maria holds Kate down while encouraging Simony to go for her finishing move.</p><p> </p><p>

With a smile and a toss of her purple hair, Simony bounces up to the top rope for the Sentinel Strike. After playing to the crowd for a moment, the Violent Violet starts to flip in the air, but Kate, playing coy the whole time, manages to overpower Maria and slide off of the table just in the nick of time. Simony smashes into the table with a sickening crash and the referee signals that Sentinel has been eliminated.</p><p> </p><p>

Kate laughs as the referee helps Simony out of the ring, pointing and telling Maria that she is next. Guest looks nervous at the prospect of facing Hell Cat alone, but tries to fight back as much as she can. After three minutes of struggle, Kate hits the Dark Phoenix Driver, deflating the crowd. Kate swings her arms, signaling that the match is about to be over. Hell Cat drapes Maria onto a table and climbs to the top rope for a flying elbow drop.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/Sn1eoo3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Suddenly, “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDwotNLyz10&list=RDZDwotNLyz10" rel="external nofollow">Kashmir</a>” begins playing and the crowd pops as Tamara McFly runs towards the ring with a steel chair in hand. Kate has little time to react as Tamara hits Hell Cat in the back with the chair.</p><p> </p><p>

With Tamara yelling words of encouragement, Maria leaps up off of the table and runs towards Kate. Grabbing Hell Cat, Guest superplexs Kate from the top rope to cheers from the crowd. Kate’s back smashes through the wooden table and the referee calls for the bell.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winners via Table Break: Doll Parts</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Simony reenters the ring to celebrate with Maria and Tamara. The three wrestlers face the crowd and Tamara, standing in between the two members of Doll Parts, lifts their arms up in victory.</p><p> </p><p>

With the crowd cheering the scene in the ring, Kate looks on from the outside, seething, as she helps a still dazed Deborah leave the bar.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Segment Rating: E-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Post-Show:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tamara bounces around the ring as Simony and Maria exit. McFly turns to the cheering crowd with a smile on her face, “As you know, earlier last month, I announced my intention to retire at the end of June,” the crowd plays along by booing, “but that doesn’t mean I’m finished yet!” </p><p> </p><p>

The crowd erupts in cheers before Tamara continues, “Kate Avatar, I know you’re listening. If you’re really as tough as you think you are, why don’t you put the Queen of the Ring title on the line against me in a match next month!” the cheers from the crowd get even louder, and Tamara takes a moment to soak it all in. “And you know, since I’m already dressed for it, if there’s any one in the back that feels like a match right now, why don’t you come on out?”</p><p> </p><p>

After a moment’s pause, the electronica sounds of Within Temptation's “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmLIE6ULtyU&list=RDqmLIE6ULtyU#t=2" rel="external nofollow">Ice Queen</a>” start playing as Claire Winters walks out to accept Tamara’s challenge.</p><p> </p><p>

Dark Match: Claire Winters vs Tamara McFly</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg</span><strong>VS</strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/Sn1eoo3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Claire, still angry from her loss earlier in the night, comes out as the aggressor. Always the veteran, Tamara is able to dodge most of the Ice Woman’s blows while landing some of her own. Tamara proceeds to take Winters to school with a series of suplexes and takedowns. Claire is able to adjust her strategy, though, and soon is going toe-to-toe with the technical master.</p><p> </p><p>

Just when Tamara is about to finish Claire off with the McFly Roll (rolling German suplexes), Kate appears at the back of the bar. Tamara releases Winters and turns her attention to Hell Cat as the latter approaches the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Taking advantage of the distraction, Claire hit a spinning heel kick on Tamara then locks in the Ice Breaker. Tamara, not wanting to risk injury, quickly taps out.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winner via Submission: Claire Winters</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Claire leaves the ring to boos as Kate enters. Hell Cat gives Tamara a kick to the ribs before picking up her rival and hitting the Dark Phoenix Driver. Kate stands over McFly’s limp body and screams down at her, “You want a match Tamara?! You’ve got one! Next month, a thirty-minute Iron Maiden match for the Queen of the Ring title. And when I’m done with you, you’ll wish you’d never even heard the name Kate Avatar!”</p><p> </p><p>
