As the details surrounding the double murder-suicide became clearer over the coming days the wrestling world was put into the public spotlight. Rumours of steroid abuse were running rampant and there was speculation about what role steroids played in the death. This event caused the wrestling industry in North America to hit it's lowest point in decades and the large amount drug abuse in wrestling to be exposed. This mod starts in June 2007, a month before the Benoit tragedy. Narratives have been set up in the mod to simulate the happenings and the aftermath of the murder-suicide, however, if you want to play an alternate timeline simply delete these narratives. The mod is intended to simulate the prelude to and the aftermath of the Benoit tragedy on the United States wrestling scene and thus will focus solely on promotions from the US of A. Initial beta releases will include WWE, TNA, ROH, FCW and OVW. As the mod develops and goes out of beta, other independent promotions will be added.
