Some stalwarts for me have been:

Rayne Man

Riley McManus

Mutant

Cowboy Buck Winchester

Cobra

Ant Man (always mask him and have him play a superhero underdog)

Tennessee William

Samoan Destruction Inc.

The Good Ol' Boys

Sozen Ishimori (sp? I don't have the game in front of me...he's a big fatty who can work in US...I have face paint alt for him I use and rechristen him "The Great Kabuki")

Lil Henry

Fiasco Fierce

Are you guys playing for a top 5 company, or are you guys playing for lower-tier companies, because I wouldn't of expected the people you mentioned unless it was a lower-tier company. I was interested in Samoan Destruction Inc as a team that mostly loses in PGHW. The thing is 1 of them always gets a written deal in 16, luckily that doesn't happy in the 10 mod I am playing.

I have used a lot of these guys in PGHW with great effect. After working a few tours for me, Ant-Man in particular became fantastic worker and got over really well.</p><p> </p><p> I found with the SD Inc, you need to sign them to a written out of the gate to have a shot and Samoan Machine is the better of the 2 workers. </p><p> </p><p> A list of guys I sign as PGHW that tend to fill some roles are:</p><p> </p><p> Ray Snow</p><p> Sterling Whitlock</p><p> Logan Wolfsbane</p><p> Motoyuke Miyake</p><p> Gidayu Katou</p><p> Shingen Miyazaki</p><p> Morimasa Kato</p><p> Yoshinaka Taku</p><p> Lobo Blanco</p><p> Tanyu Toshusai</p><p> Eagle Kawasawa</p><p> </p><p> There are others (like Razan, Mr Lucha, and Pavel) but they have either been mentioned or are not really considered underrated.</p>

I think thats the best part of the game</p>

<p>During my ROF game back in dem 2005 days, Keith Adams became a main event star thanks to great chemistry with Rolling Johnny Stones. Merle O' Curle was a solid if somewhat underrated guy and I've always been big on Flemmy Lemming/Simon Flemmingway since back then.</p><p> </p><p>

My first TEW16 game was running GSW. Raheem Stash developed into a decent performer, but the underrated talents were Devyn Retribution and E-Soteric who literally exploded once he ran an "IPW Invasion" storyline next to the also underrated Deadly Deadshot. Big shout out to Mutant and the Good Ol' Boys as well, though I don't think those are underrated.</p><p> </p><p>

My main game is a CVerse97 Road to Glory set in Europe. Biggest underrated talent that broke out is probably Viv Jacobs, who got her attitude in line and never stopped improving for over a decade.</p>

Pretty sure I hired her in my SWF save for my team with Logan Wolfsbaine and Ernest Youngman.</p>

What about Dharma?

Possibly the best free manager available.

Only problem is she's a face and I don't really like babyfaces to have managers

In my most recent SWF game, I plan to retool her as the hard-partying "Dirty White Girl"*, the mouthpiece of the Dirty White Boys.

(The Dirty White Boys where hired because I wanted more tag teams and the Dirty White Boys still have some popularity)

*This gimmick was taken from Self's FCK dynasty back in TEW 2008 (2009 Draft Mod edition), where Blonde Bombshell served as the manager of the Dirty White Boys.

Tony Anthony, unfortunately best known as T.L. Hopper, had a Dirty White Girl as a valet in his indie persona as The Dirty White Boy. Forget who she was or where she might be now but I'm pretty sure you can find pictures of them together somewhere on the Internet.</p>

In my main game they're about to be in the Hall of Immortals.</p>

<p>Not sure how underrated he's considered, but <strong>Robbie Wright</strong> is an excellent talker. Been a fan of him since my first TEW 13 game as MAW, and even as TCW I make sure to pull him from RIPW. He can get himself over on talking, and he's young enough to be able to build his stats well, too. </p><p> </p><p>

For extra banter, pair him with James Hernandez, and the two can do magic.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, <strong>Nelson Callum</strong> once put on an 83 match as a jobber on a pre-show vs someone who regularly brought 70-rated matches. If that's not underrated, I don't know what is.</p>

I'm finding a lot of success lately with El Jaguar, Kamikaze, and Tigre El Savija. This fed is perf>pop, but only by a little. I had El Jaguar and Kamikaze increase in size. Jaguar went up to mid B- star quality as a 24-year old. Kamikaze always puts up C+ matches as a jobber in my cult fed and will be getting a push next year, probably in a tag team. Tigre had good tag team chemistry with Masked Cougar and puts up good matches solo or in the tag match and they are going to challenge for the tag team championship after 6 months of building them up.

My golly miss molly I didn't see this coming. I'm running perf>pop to the highest level. I brought in Billy Russell, Oleg Dorosklov, Pistol Pete Hall, Roy Edison, and Yasuhide Tayama. They were the guys with the highest popularity available. The whole point of bringing them in is to lose and usually get dominated by all of my guys, most of all the next big things and young wrestlers who are at enhancement talent-lower mid carder. The plan was eventually their morale crashes (locker room is so strong I can afford it), they cause 1 or 2 bad backstage incidents, and I fire them for it. Doing that makes me feared even more as an owner. I'm playing PGHW.

Listen to this horrible matchup. The matchup is Billy Russell, Oleg Dorosklov, Pistol Pete Hall, Roy Edison, and Ryu Kajahara vs. Junnosuke Fukazawa, Danger Kumasaka, Masayuki Shiga, Yoshuke Narita, and Yasuhide Tayama. No road agent notes. Oleg gets a 87! Edison and Russell get 74 and 72 which is just as good as my undercard gets. And most of all the match got a 72 .

Arthur Dexter Bradley - It takes a little work and good booking but he can become a very useful part of a roster, even a main eventer in a smaller fed, and I always pick him up when I can.

El Mitico Jr - As a lot of people have already said, the guy puts on incredible matches and is always available to start, which is insane to me.

Davis Wayne Newton - See above.

Phobia - I just personally love everything about this guy. I turn him into a smaller, flying based version of Bray Wyatt most of the time and he gets over like the guy I have him imitate.

SATO/Kaz - Two wrestlers that any Japanese fed would be better off by having them on the roster.

Bradford Peverell - He's just fun to have on the roster. I imagine him going for that left hand the same way that Honma goes for the headbutt IRL.

<p>I run a lot of Pure and Realism feds, so my favorites are:</p><p> </p><p>

Nigel Svensson</p><p>

Merle O'Curle</p><p>

Ray Snow</p><p>

Samoan Machine</p><p>

Rhino Umaga</p><p>

Walter Morgan</p><p> </p><p>

I've never used Roy Edison much in the past, but he's killing it for me right now.</p>

Kid Fantastic is a cheapish pickup early in the game (I think he may start injured?) but he's developed for me into an excellent flier, and even in a promotion which is heavily biased against his Spot Monkey style he's had several A-rated matches where he's been the best-rated performer (albeit in 2023).

I suspect that, because of his style, he's not likely to get poached by one of the big names either.

His problem at the beginning is his horrendous ratings in psychology and safety. He was botching all over for me, but he does have big potential. You played out your save longer than I did when I had him, but he was coming along really well.</p>

<p>Velocidad is a name that should be mentioned in the same sentence as, say, Champagne Lover or Tommy Cornell, but he rarely if at all gets picked up in diaries. </p><p> </p><p>

I've had some great luck with La Estrella too. I think he gets ignored because he starts with one of the smaller companies, but he comes with a ready-made character and good star quality. </p><p> </p><p>

He can be really great if you can get him to move up in size. </p><p> </p><p>

I haven't seen FCW's Joffy Laine mentioned, but his Charisma and Star Quality are good enough to get multiple A angles for me in FCW. He could be a potential figurehead.</p>
