It's definitely gonna motivate at least some of the newer diary writers. "Hey, I may not be able to get DOTM, but I can get some of the smaller/simpler achievements." The idea behind some of the Achievements are to encourage the longevity of some diary's. I for one have loved a few diary's that have ended after just a few months. I'd be happy to include a clause with states that there has to be 3+ in the voting for it to be eligible. </p><p> </p><p> The Committee is not meant to be elitist in any way. It actually hasn't received as much bad feedback in the poll's as i thought, only 15.8% dislike, 36.8% Wait and see, and 47.4% like. Its still very much in the early staged and if it doesn't work out or prove "Good for Business" I'd happily reconsider. it was on put in place to stop empty category's and low nomination numbers.</p><p> None of the Committee members receive any special perks or treatment. IE, Anything Can Happen has run for over a year (in-game), so do I earn the 1st anniversary achievement, or do I have to keep it going another year? It would be too unfair and difficult to implement the "From Now" approach with these Achievements</p><p> </p><p> As with the rest of the Achievements that i have not listed, they will work on a "From Now" ruling. With the rule that achievements such as... <em>Hot Streak, Perfect Show Theory, Lead By Example, Stomping to Victory, Left in the Dust</em>. They will all require a minimum of 3 Nominee's in the Categories before an Achievement can be awarded.
